Blizzard Sheeva 10 Ski - Women's
Blizzard's Sheeva series is an ode to ripping chicks who spend more time in ski boots than out of them. A freeride-oriented daily driver, the Sheeva 10 is a super versatile set of planks that annihilates big terrain. The 102mm waist is slightly narrower than its burlier big sister, the Sheeva 11, so while you'll still be able to float pow turns on storm days, the Sheeva 10 also sees you through bulletproof hardpack and chundery debris.
Utilizing the Carbon Flipcore technology that skiers already know and love, Blizzard also added two layers of carbon fiberglass to their women-specific skis to maintain strength while shedding a little bit of weight. The DRT Titanal layer underfoot makes the Sheeva 10 powerful and stable while you're clocking high speeds on the hill, and the playfulness of the multi-layer wood core is just begging you to pop off side hits and pillows. These confidence-inspiring skis rip all kinds of terrain, and even though you take pride in your excessive quiver of skis, the Sheeva 10 is the only thing you'll be reaching for any time soon.

K2 Minaret 100 Ski Boot - Women's
Switching between skis as conditions and objectives change is nice. Switching between boots isn't quite as great, especially when your feet have made a cozy little niche for themselves in your go-to boots. Luckily for your feet, K2 has built the Women's Minaret 100 Ski Boot to do it all, so you can wear the same pair of boots when you take your lightweight touring set up out to the backcountry, load up your mid-fats for a little all-mountain slaying.
Modeled after the K2 Pinnacle, the Minaret houses all of the same features, but sports a roomier 100mm last and medium flex for a more forgiving feel. It utilizes the same Synchro Interlock walk mode as the Pinnacle, which forgoes rivets in favor of an interlocking wedge and V-lock mechanism to lock the shell and cuff together once the boot is in ski mode, eliminating play. Adding to the overall stiffness of the boot is the Powerfuse Spyne, which extends from the cuff to the shell to deliver a more responsive and confidence-inspiring feel during the descent. The Minaret comes ready to step into just about any binding you might own with a DIN-compatible sole attached and tech fittings installed. K2 also offers a lugged Vibram sole (sold separately) if you're planning on spending a lot of time in the backountry.

Hey this is garrigan from home of sun valley in san mateo california and in. This video i want to go over the salomon pro 100 boot the pro boots have been. Around for a couple years now and really a proven success this happens to be as. Are all the pro boots a 100 millimeter. Lasted booth which means that it's going to fit an average foot quite well right out of the box that being a c width to. Ad — with foot quite well and one of the. Things that Solomon has done in the last couple years is really concentrated on unfit they're engineers have put a huge. Amount of effort a lot of dollars in. Getting the fit right there's sort of two ways to make it the one you can make it with lots of soft cushy foam and the. Liner is just like a marshmallow you put your foot in there and you get a sense of how this fits fantastic the problem with that soft cushy foam is that when. You go skiing it just allows your foot to move around and then you over buckle. Up buckles and you start to get lack of circulation lots of other problems for the boot and plus to the fit of the. Boot packs out sooner and it becomes useless sooner the other philosophy is you're gonna put some firm dense foam. Inside the liner and but when you do. That you have to know what the foot looks like and so some has done a really. Good job of that in engineering that firm foam but at the same time contouring it in a way that's gonna fit. The average foot really well and. Then when you do that it holds your foot. Very firmly you don't feel a need to buckle the buckles down really tight you. Have maximum circulation and better overall fit and great control because you're holding that so that's the pro. Boot the pro boot is also custom shell. And custom shell is the ability for the. Shell to conform to your foot so the way we do that we do it up in an oven to 200. Degrees put it on your foot and the shell material the heart counterpart physically if you have a wide foot or bony prominence shell moves. Out and conforms to those parts of your foot and then cools in that position so. It will actually fit a foot that's much wider than a d by doing that custom fit. Process and then the liners also heat. Foldable foams in there, so we eat the liner up and it further details to the two curvatures and nooks and crannies of. Your foot the pro boot is the typical. Two-piece overlap she'll design alpine. Replaceable sole like most other typical. Boots and it's been around for quite a. While it's one of the most popular boots and that is the 100 pro so if you found. This video helpful i mean the big thumbs up and if you have any questions or comments you can comment the comment section down below make sure you subscribe to our channel for more informative videos thanks for watching see you next time.
Nordica Santa Ana 110 Ski - Women's
Grab the Nordica Women's Santa Ana 110 Ski, clear your schedule, and head into the white room. It's hard to beat the raw pleasure of lapping lift-accessed blower powder all day long, and with a 110 millimeter waist, this ski can handle the steep and the deep with effortless ease. The rockered tip and tail ensure turns through fresh powder are smooth and dreamy, while underfoot camber doesn’t leave you high and dry on steep hardpack when Mother Nature doesn’t deliver.
The Santa Ana is built around a lightweight balsa wood core so you don't have to spend precious energy turning a hefty set of sticks, yet remains incredibly strong, damp, and playful. A Titanal laminate increases power transfer when you're letting it rip under the chair, and the carbon prepreg laminates provides stability and edge grip so you can really open up your speed in the steep backside bowls. When you feel like ditching the crowds and heading to your secret powder stash in the trees, an impressive turn radius makes these skis zippy and nimble.
Hey what's up everybody I'm here with carrie smith mount hood local born and. Raised former racer ski coach now a. Globe-trotting ski bum extraordinaire and sore it's you hopped on a bunch of. Skis today up here at hood and one of those was the nordica santa ana 110. And you skied a bit shorter lengths and. You probably would prefer but tell me. About your ski experience today on that ski yeah so i skied a 169. Version 110 underneath being from a race. Background i really appreciate a nice. Stable ski it's a bit longer. But this one i was surprised when i. First got on it i felt like i didn't. Have a lot of stability in the tail. Probably because of the rocker but i. Realized that the sweet spot in the skis a bit more forward and the tips actually engage really well and just being on this shorter ski i could really put some. Nice song pops in their yeah i think it. Has a 16 and 1/2 meter radius it said in. A 177 length and you're in the 169 yeah. So it has a balsa core which is. Extremely light wood core to sheets of. Metal which is really cool for the ladies it's kind of uncommon you could say who do you think this who would. Benefit from the ski maybe and like what sort of conditions i think that this ski. Would actually do really well in softer snow maybe even a pow ski so 110. Underfoot so that's a decent amount of width and because of the rocker you could be a little more playful in softer. Snow nice right on that is the nordica. Santa ana 110.

This is the scott the ski from scott for. 2017 this is a relatively simple design. It's been out for a very long time actually one skier the year a couple of years ago as well but it's a very much an all mountain ski perfect for any intermediate up to expert skier just wanting a really easy ski to ski the whole mountain with its 90 mil underfoot. So that makes it a really good kind of like i said all mountain ski perfect for. Taking off-piste and doing a little bit like of peace cutting between the runs do maybe a few tree lines or just going around the poles but it's also narrow enough to have a really great edge hold as well on the harder compact snow its ski only so you know binding you. Could put on there with mike might be a marcus squire or a try only attack 13. It's just something that will kind of keep up with you on the mountain on these skis it's got a slight nose rocker. As well so that again helps you initiate your turns making it a little bit easier think of rocker as power steering so it just makes everything simpler it's also got a slight rocker in the tail but it's mainly a flat tail so again that keeps you stable coming out of the eternal and again just makes just making. Things a little bit easier but it's like i said definitely aimed at a more of an intermediate up to expert skier someone that is wanting to ski the whole mountain and knows how to use their edges and kind of dig them in when needed to where needed but like i said it's just a really great ski really enjoyed it and it's always a really. Popular ski.
