Hello today, you and I are gonna discuss this awesome new scope by piney. It’s a scope and laser combo has a red laser with. It is a 10 by 40 powered scope. It comes with three batteries for the laser which it, if you don’t screw the little button where the button is that’s where those go in, and it also has a crosshair, the crosshair lights, up, red or green, depending on how bright you want it, and that battery goes on the dial to adjust the brightness controls for that swap back and forth.
As you see me, tightening you up right now, go ahead and check out you see for yourself, there’s the green! Well, let me get around to the camera. For you, okay, there’s the green crosshairs. As you can see, they light up green with different brightness options and there’s the red. The red doesn’t work too well during the day, but at night it works really really well or to the dusk hours. So to mount this scope, you simply use the hand screws and loosen it up and mount it now.
When you go to mount, these I recommend adjusting it where the eye relief is best for you. We actually see the whole crosshair and then tighten it down make sure you tighten it down as much as you can without stripping the threads of course. That way when you’re shooting it doesn’t lose zero. So when you’re shooting it doesn’t come loose and move around because then you would lose your zero or your accuracy cause. You have to redo it all over again to adjust the scope.
There’s a screw cap on top and a screw cap on the side, the top of Justices up and down and the right side. Just is your left and right actions. So we got a round in the chamber. Let’s send this bullet downrange and test out this scope. First and I find this scope pretty comfortable. The eye relief could be a little bit better, but for the most part it works really. Well, it’s nice and sleek. It isn’t heavy, so it fits on your gun. Really, wood really nicely hope.

Now you know I don’t want to offend anybody, but in case, if you’re wondering in case, if you don’t know two to seven the first two numbers 2 to 7, it means it magnifies from 2 power 2 to 7, alright and next number by 32.

I do own a few of them. I have actually a red side from vortex. What is it strike? Fire yep strike fire red that system for my ar-15 and I also do have a magnifier from vortex. Never had any problems with them. Great quality, great built, a few complaints here and there whenever it comes to features but really nothing related to the build quality.
So the build quality is fantastic. Now they do advertise this particular scope as the aircraft grade for the durability, but we’ll see how it lasts so far. No complaints, this particular one. This particular scope is actually my friends and he used it. He set for about six months now never had any problems. The the tube size, the standard tube size, just like most of the scopes is one-inch.
So really all you need to do is get the rings, the one in shrinks and that’s it. You can mount it to your Picatinny, rail or whatever mount you have for your real rifle. You know most of them are Picatinny. Where else that’s all my friend uses, but you know my friend has not users but okay. So now this particular model of the vortex crossfire -.
It comes with two different dials two different adjustments, and you can see they do have nice- covers just to make sure that you don’t accidentally bump them and you can actually adjust them with your bare fingers. I think that is great. Another thing that I think is fantastic, as you could hear this. Yes, yes, it actually clicks whenever you spin it and I and I think that that is an awesome feature.
Why? Because you know, whenever you have just this screwdriver adjustment and and it doesn’t actually click, sometimes you do need to reset it to zero. Okay, and then it becomes a little bit of pain. You know you have to you have to you. Ness West mess with it for a while in order to get it back now. Was this one another thing that I really like that they did pay attention to which, unfortunately, they didn’t in my red dot system is that they actually specified this one is up and down so this particular dial is responsible for up and down, and of course, this one is going to be left and right, which is the same way.
It is clickable there. It is very nice. I really do like it now to adjust the magnification. We do have the ring that is located over here and to spin it. It spins very nice, unfortunately, that this one as you can see right now. You know the minimal setting is to double magnification and then the maximum setting we have is seven all right now.
Is this one? Unfortunately, you don’t have it clickable again, you know, probably you don’t want it clickable. You know. If you want to you, know, change your magnification, because you’re not you’re gonna be messed with you’re gonna be messing with this. More than with your, you know, dial up and down left and right, so you probably don’t want it.
Clickable I personally, would prefer a clickable I, don’t know, I may be wrong. You guys. Let me know what do you guys think? Would you prefer this clickable or not? At least you know lucky in place whenever you do it three I do know. Whenever you get to four, you have your focus over here, which works perfectly I tested it at different magnifications.
You know powers perfect, okay, so a little bit back to the build quality glass metal, the construction, everything it feels rugged. Everything feels great. The only thing. The only thing that you you’re gonna have complain about. Is this sticker little little sticker right there yep that says Made in China? That’s really it! If that secret set made made made in America, you know made in United States.
You wouldn’t even notice that you know, because, honestly, the construction, the quality of a build, is amazing. I, never had any problems with my radar system either. If this was my scope, I would probably have this already lost, but I got some good news. Wait! No, not this one! This one! This one is 32. Okay, obviously they have bigger ones, who’s, a bigger, bigger field of sight. If that’s what you want, so if you get that make sure that you know you’re getting the right covers for that cuz they have different sizes and really the did this. That’s really it you know. I did my research on this and the the rifle that my friend is shooting is is a what is it 308, Winchester, 308 I, believe, let me double-check yep.
Definitely three Winchester day the he is: shooting never had any problems with this scope, messin AB getting out of place, but here’s the thing again, it kind of depends on the rings that you get. You know so make sure you get the good quality rings vortex they have their own rings. Honestly, I would recommend getting those because they are made by wart.
X4 vortex just just makes more sense, and that’s really it guys the now the scope it comes with this nice, wiping towel alright and really that’s it now, I kinda kind of wish it that they did offer a scope together with the Rings, but considering that there are different, you know, there’s picatiny types, there’s there’s a few other types for for, for rifles make sense that they would actually make you buy, buy those separately and alright.
That’s it guys that that’s that’s really all I have to say if you are considering to buy this price-wise I think this is pretty compatible. Now this particular model it was hundred and twenty nine dollars. I think it is pretty competitive, pretty good price. Actually, it was one hundred and twenty eight seventy five just to be specific, but they do have more expensive ones.
You know like the ones that are illuminated. They have illuminated reticle, for example the three to nine. Now this one is two to seven: they have a three to nine model by fifty. So this this this, this one is thirty-two and obviously future is gonna, be bigger with illuminated reticle that one is 209. If you are considering that also a pretty good one honestly, that’s what I would get the illuminated one that one does have the battery that you have to use, but I think I.
Think it’s pretty good. Still.
