Okay, guys this, what I’m doing a review on the Akuma surf rod? This is the longitude. This is the ten foot model and I’m telling you. This is a phenomenal phenomenal ride for the money. 60 bucks has the cork handle nice and long for good leverage. I’ve got it paired up with the fin noir lethal, LT 60 very well balanced I mean this rod is phenomenal for 60 bucks.

You can’t go wrong, I mean I, can launch baits out, I mean it’s it’s it’s a player, I use it in the surf every weekend. Now it’s a little heavy for plugging all day, but if you’re doing like baiting weight, you know doing a live bait or cut bait phenomenal rock. It will launch I’ve. Had it loaded down with a four ounce weight, probably bout, three ounces of bait and no problem I mean it’ll, launch it out past the breakers quick I, like you, so much I bought a second one check it out.

Looky looky looky, better unwrap this one. This is the nine-footer. They had it on sale on Amazon for 24 bucks. This is the akuma longitude, just like the other one, get it unwrapped check it out. The nine-foot heavy I was hoping it was going to be a little bit lighter than the the 10-footer bumble bee all up in the way, but I was going to put a little bit lighter reel on this one and actually use it for plugging $24, guys $24 for surf rod.

I mean phenomenal. The 10-footer has been outstanding. We fittin to put this nine-footer to the test, so but anyway, it’s time to put a reel on this thing and try it out this week. There you have it guys. The I got the nine-footer with a spin fish or forty five hundred thirty pound braid I’ve got the template or setup with the fin nor lethal LT 60 50, pound braid, so phenomenal rod I mean, like I, said: I went ahead and ordered a second one, I caught it on the sale on Amazon for 24 bucks, I mean it’s just phenomenal.

Rod I put the smaller reel on it, because I’m probably going to be using it for for plugging in the surf I may do some changing around I hadn’t decided yet so, but we’re gonna test it out in the morning, and course Old Faithful here the 10-footer. The only difference in them is, as you can see, you know if you can tell a difference with them.

Side by side is see the handles just a little bit longer on the tenth footer. The real seats about this is offset just a little bit and the grips just a little bit shorter. But that’s really the only difference and far is linked. You’re looking at only six inch difference.

Well, the weather sucks, but there was a bright spot in my day. The mail lady brought me a new fishing rod. Alright, the eight of you that watch my channel on a regular basis have seen this rod before this is my jigging world shadow surf rod and I have shown it in quite a few surf fishing videos that I’ve published but I liked it so much I had to buy another one, so I originally found out about this rod watching another youtuber.

His name was C money. He was surf fishing. He was trying out this new rod and he was really impressed with he liked it a lot so I actually started researching the rod myself. It’s a two-piece rod, ten foot, it has the extended butt, like you see, on a lot of surf fishing rods, and it has these awesome. Leather win grips it’s a fantastic surf rod, I’m, not 100%, sure it’s actual leather, but it sure feels like it.

No, they are not. Leather I just checked the Wynn website and when says they are polymer grips. One of the things I like about this rod is that fact it’s a two-piece and on the bottom piece there are no line guides. A lot of two-piece rods will have one or two line guides on the bottom half, but not this, and that is a great feature. Actually, the top half of this rod has eight line guides.

When I received my first rod, you know, I was really impressed with the way it looked. The way it felt you know, the finish on the thing is extremely high quality, but let me show you what really impressed me. Let me turn my scales on here. Keep in mind. This is a ten foot surf fishing rod. Let’s weigh this thing. This rod is 11 8 ounces. This thing is less than a pound, that’s unheard of, in my opinion, that’s what makes this such a pleasure that you can fish and you can cast and throw weights and throw baits all day long with this thing, and it’s not going to wear you out the specs on this rod is it’s a heavy.

It is a 10 foot rod. The line weight is 30 to 50 pounds and the lure weight is 1 to 5 ounces. Alright, this is the part. That’s going to make pretty much everybody wince when I found the rod online and saw the prize yeah I like went ooh ouch I have never paid this much money for a rod in my life. Now some of you bass, guys y’all y’all, probably do cuz I know you get these customer odds and probably not unusual for you to do that, but at 209 dollars, plus $25 shipping, you know I had to think about it and I said you know what I deserve it hell yeah I deserve it.

I, don’t know why I deserve it, but I just felt like I deserved it. So I went ahead and got it, and you know it’s probably been the best rod that I’ve ever owned. But right up here, let’s look at the description. Our newest surf rod and I’ll highlight it right here. Our newest surf rod called the shadow surf, are made with a high modulus carbon construction.

This creates a lightweight, tough and parabolic surf rod. Minimizing fatigue, while continuously casting lures throughout the day, all rods are two-piece rods, where it is made with a 70/30 cut design, so the lower lower half with the rod seat and all that that’s the 30%, the rest of the rod is 70%. This series includes an earner, organic real seat and genuine wind grips that will rest easy on your hands during cast retrieves, and while fighting fish and I have hooked up to some quite large sharks with a surf rod and not had any issue at all.

I’ve got the 10 foot heavy. They come in different sizes. It’s like ain’t. Never I ain’t never done this before, but I’m gonna take the plunge, and that is that is an awesome rod and it’s two-piece. But there’s no there’s where it connects. There’s no guides on this bottom piece, which is good. All the guides are on one single and a lot of you’ll have the guide of one or two guides on the bottom piece, which sucks.
