Andrew you know as well as anyone that i. T-handle which i won't screw in or these. Small brushes I've attached the 1 7. Brush to this pull through and I'm now going to pull it through the 1 7 rifles. There's no opportunity to put a t-handle on this end but it shouldn't be too much of a problem with the small size so. Putting the pull through in from the. Back of the receiver again without going in through the ejection slot and risking eroding the edge of the breech it's its. Through and can be offered up. So pushing through it emerges and with a. Firm that distinct pull out comes a. While load of debris and again. A convenient way to store this for use. In the field is in an old air peloton and i really wish that otis. Would market a set with that inner i. No they do to a set that's for once evans as a as an individual set in one. Of their little fabric bags but this is. So convenient i found easily goes in the pocket and you can keep absolutely everything you need in it very easily. And stop disasters i just keep one of. Those aunty is cares and to stop. Disasters he goes into one of those four. Shotgun users there's a 20 gauge and a. 12 gauge or 12 bore ripcord and I'm just. Going to demonstrate from the back of the ejection slot to avoid getting towards the edge of the breech and when. I get to the point where the report. Used when i was working with the 1911 in. My opinion it's a really great kit for what you can pay for it now it is a little bit pricey so if you're looking. For something just to clean your one gun. In one caliber with i would not recommend this but for someone like me who has ten guns in ten different calibers this is great plus it gives me. The ability to anticipate and not have. To go out and buy new things for other firearms that i may acquire and. Basically what this is I'll just go ahead and show you it is the otis elite. Cleaning kit you can clean pistols. Rifles shotguns and muzzle loaders with. This as well and it is very comprehensive for what it is like i said it's a little bit pricey right now this. Is going for about a hundred and five dollars plus tax at cabala's and I'm not. Certain if you can pick it up in the store it may be something that you have to order but i am going to bring you. Down to my bench here in front of me, and we're going to go over everything that comes in this that way you guys know what's involved and you can make that determination for yourself alright so. The first thing after you open the box you get this you get this almost like a. Briefcase to carry things in it is a. Zipper pouch on the front pretty sure. There's nothing in here no but it is. Instruction manual if you need the instructions this looks like a little i. Would call this a brass punch I'm not. Exactly sure i haven't seen what they intended it to be, so we've got that the. Brass punch and another thing of clp here we've got some people call. Then jags or jigs whatever you want to call them you'll screw into a rod or something else that I'll show you here in just a minute. Here we've got some more common brushes here's one for 22 this is a 270 brush or. A rifle mills or 45 this is a 38 or 357. And this is a 30 k certain cattle which. Would be perfect for cleaning like a ax and ar 10 or maybe an ak-47 and inside. Of that you have this is. Essentially the same component as a. Porsche knight but it's insulated cable. So instead of having a rod that you feed through a bore you have a cable so you can put your. Brush on and then drop your cable down into the chamber in and pull it through. Personally that's one of the things that i like the most about this setup is the cables that's not the only one we'll get. To the others here in just a moment. Right here we've got a lens cloth this. Is perfect for cleaning your optic lenses or any other blast that might. Have on a 22 caliber short brush and a. 17 caliber short work along with a. Chamber leg more lens cleaner these are. Disposable lens tissues and here we have. A rifle length cable and another rifle. Length cable that appears would be. Functional for something like a 17. Caliber so this one's a little bit thinner so i would use this for 17 to 22. Ok now we're here and you can see we've. Got all of our different brushes these are all basically a brass brushes so. We've got b 2 o 4 2 2 3 2 70/30 338 if. You guys shoot little poo 370 40 44 50. For ten twenty-eight twenty sixteen and. Twelve so here are going to be fryer. Shotguns these are going to be meant primarily for rifles now we do have like. The little twenty-two and a seventeen brush in here but the other brushes in here are going to be for pistols so that. That does it on this side of things let's get over come onto this leg another cable this is a short cable. That's perfect for pistol this is the one that i actually used in my 1911 video along with one of the brushes in. This we have some small two-inch and 3. Inch patches now the thing i find. Interesting is this very clearly says stop do not run these through the and. What they're saying is done not feed your patch through that these patches that. They provide actually have a different way that you can hook them up that's an instruction manual a second chamber flag. And another short cable with something. You can use to track a patch through. Bigger patches here i don't know if you can see these have special cutouts that are designed for use with the zags there. Here we have a two to three chamber. Cleaning brush some smaller patches a i. Want to call that a nylon bristle brush there. A lens brush anti-fog elevens cleaner. And finally to wrap off this whole kit. We have this which is basically like a. Small rod system with some various different things so you've got brush in. That you can screw onto a rod to help you get into places that you otherwise might not be able to get to you've got two rods here one can be screwed into. The other you've got a very fine little. Think there what i would more likely use. This does is to scrape carbon out of course a little another nylon brush. There that would be good for like. Cleaning a chamber out of a 22 perhaps. There's also like a flathead screwdriver. In here and a 90 degree pick of sorts. And then what this looks to me like is a. Like a punch almost alright so now that. Everything about it looks a little bit disorganized as i said this kit runs. Around $100 to 120 dollars depending on. Where you decide to buy it does i think. It's worth that yeah i mean just this. One little thing alone is honestly it's. Got a lot of the stuff that I've been looking for now there are still a few. Things that are not in here that i like. To have obviously if you've watched my videos you know i use a lot of these cottontail q-tips those are invaluable i. Also have a i bought a four pack of. These with some different hooks on the end of them and these cost me like a buck and harbor freight i love those and. Extra brushes never hurts to have but other than that this is pretty much everything going to need apart from obviously your. Your screwdriver set here this is made. By wheeler engineering i think this screwdriver kits like 15 bucks and for. Four screwdrivers and stuff like that. Make sure you go with a they call them hollow ground tips anyway guys that is. Pretty much it like i said video today. Was on the otis elite checking your local cabala's or your local bass pro they may have these they're running around 100 bucks watch the video a couple more times see what's in this kit. That you would like to have or would need and make your determination there. My hey guys its tactical guy and. Assuming a little overview review. Basically just something to use to clean. My guns some of my guns and i really. Recommend just want to give you a head up together don't know what it is and i. Really recommend it depending on your. Weapon and caliber and everything in your personal preference it's called a. Bore snake and what this is a is my. 12-gauge shotguns and what it is. Basically instead of taking those little white patches and things like that or. The little long brush and pushing it. Down your bore you can take this little. This unit right here take this little. Weight but you drop down the barrel which is actually each little weights marked on what it is this is 12 for 12. Gauge you drop it down the bore down. From the chamber side down the. Bore pull it out the front and so basically you're pulling the string and. I uh put solvent right around here so. You get a big glob of solvent i usually just dip this entire thing and so all the first half so solving goes in then. You have some brass brushes then it goes. In i think it's a little thick and hard. And then at the end you have this which. And they show you can that's how you can. Store your gun you can put some oil on this and what you pull it through you. Can kind of make a go loop with it to. Kind of lock it in the store your gun like that i don't think i would store my gun like that but you know till he will light some people might not like the. Brass bristles you know metal on metal. What people don't care for that for my. 12 gauge it works great they're not too. Expensive i paid 15 bucks for this. And i think i overpaid well i don't. Personally feel like i overpaid but I'm. Sure you can find them cheaper really look around and just bought it from a gun blast next my house we as well. Have this for the ak-47 and just a. Picked up a 30 cal bore snake and use it. For the ak and they work great you know. After a long day of shooting your gun. Gets pretty free and dirty and this. Think you right through like twice and you've given spotless more it's a lot. Easier seems like you know i just it's. Something i like to do like at even at. The range I'll toss this a nightly beg and after I'm done shooting i was clear. The weapon toss it down the barrel pull it through clean it out real fast and in. That way when i go home it's one last thing i really have to scrub or go down. So you know if you haven't checked him. Out you're thinking about it or you. Haven't bought one or anything you're kind of interested I'd recommend it definitely I'm sure a lot of people know.
