Survival tool: this is a multi-tool in that it has a whistle and it has a little compass on this end. It’s not the best compass you have to like really have it completely vertical in order for it to work. Otherwise it’s going to catch on something, but it’s better than nothing and then it has which is the most important part. The fire-starting rod looks some tinder down there and and then it’s got a little blade edge there, but I’m going to use the the edge of it to make the spark.
So how you, how I’m going to do this is I’m going to reattach it like this, so I have a longer handle and then you just take this end and there you go I don’t know. Did you see that it was sparked in? Do it some more see if I can get a big one? That was a pretty big one. There you go so hopefully you could see that on my video but yeah, it’s a cute cute, probably shouldn’t call survival, -, Oh cute right, but it’s a nice little tool handy will fit in your pocket.

Got this off of Amazon for 795, which I’ll put a link below it’s on sale right now, it’s the survival strike. It’s a magnesium rod for lighting fires and case you don’t have matches or lighter on you. This is a great way. I start a fire, never strike peace here. Also, there’s a blade on this. So if you want to cut a small tender, just just can’t like that you can cut through comes with a compass also in case you get lost an emergency whistle, it’s 130 decibels and you have to blow really hard to make it work which I’ll try right now so I just did it real quick, but obviously, if you blow extremely hard, you’ll hear the actual whistle go off so magnesium rod.
All you gotta do to strike. This also comes with a cord on here to say: don’t lose your strike stick, so you can see how easy that is. Let me get a cotton ball here, no one here somewhere now. This one here is just a dry cotton ball. I just want to show you how easy that is just aim towards your object. You want to strike and there she goes fairly simple. We got one of these other ones that I made out of the petroleum. This is gonna, be the petroleum and cotton. Let me just tap this out real quick with my boot, alright, so petroleum and cotton, just like that simple one strike and you’re good to go now a lot of times.
You’re really supposed to do. These I did buy a full strike. You get the most life out of these I think you have 15 000 strikes. You can do on here. You wanna start at the bottom. That way it wears it off from the end in. If you keep doing it the full way, it’s gonna wear the whole piece out. You might actually wear out the middle before the end, so you’re gonna get much less strikes on here. So if you want to just do it at the end here you can still get a really good spark out to show you that’s another cotton ball, so you can see it’s not the length of it.
It’s just! You just need to create a spark. You know close and I’m an inch away, and there it goes. You don’t get as much of a spark, but you definitely get the spark. You need just in an inch away like that. So simple enough again, this on Amazon, which I’ll put a link below great if you’re out hunting fishing camping, always something good to take along with you.
