Pop the glove box open and some thief criminal you know has my gun and you. No i thought about that for a while and i said you know what i know my. Car's private property i know it's locked, and they're committing a crime, and they're breaking into my stuff stealing my gun but still it's a. Criminal a thief a thug a felon having. My gun and i don't want to make it that. Easy for him you know they commit a crime something happens you know that's that's a terrible thing and i don't want. It to be with my god i want to be with. Any gun but you know especially my gun. So i bought this was like 25 bucks. At amazon and you know there it's a you. No thin steel like i say it's not gonna keep anybody out this is just for. Like unauthorized users mostly you know. If you're riding around with kids or passengers in general coworkers in your car just to keep him out of your. Stuff right if criminal broke into your car, and he found it can he get into it. Absolutely he could probably pry it open. With something simple is a thick. Screwdriver in about two or three minutes but yeah. So it's just one extra step a little more of a deterrent just so you know. Can't he or she can't just you know. Break into your car grab your stuff and. There but you know if it's an athlete 11. Couple extra magazines. That's for its 1911 but it closes up it. Has a key what it does do though real. Quick I'm gonna go down home depot because they give you this cheap little cable right and you know you can cut. That but paradise you know so i want to. Go down to home depot me to take a diameter steel cable i don't know what's. What diameter i want yet I'm gonna go check it out but I'll probably get you know something left two maybe even three days just something a little thicker so they can't just cut it with a. Big pair of dikes I'm gonna get. Something a little better than s2 because this just goes in here like this. And that's, so they can't jerk on it but. You know if they pried this up enough. They could get that out nothing flat. That's just a piece of aluminum cheap washer there so I'm gonna get something a little bigger steel and then that way. I guess a they gotta earn it and most of. These you know they smash and grab you know they're gonna break into your car grab your radio real quick or handful of. Change or whatever they see that's valuable to them so if i got a little. Thicker gauge wire and put that on there. That'd be that'd be a little more of a. Deterrent little did have to put in a little more effort into getting that. Cable cut but yeah is it gonna is it. Going to about anyone from getting in. There no you can pry it open like i say probably two three minutes but as if. They want to spend the two or three minutes when the car alarms going off and people are looking around like i. Said just a little extra deterrent so quantity lockable gun case. 25 bucks on amazon three points of. Contact let's say they they lock. Here there and up there and the bars. That's why i got this one because at. Least it has three points of contact most of the other ones the gun vaults and the bulldog and it just got one lock. Right there and like i say you pry it. Open probably thirty seconds still pry this one open with very easily but you know two more losses because it's better. In my opinion so there it is man everybody should be responsible you know. The factory crema is a very specialized. Dye and what it does is it allows the. User to apply as much or as little cramp. As they want to a seated bullet it's. Easy to take apart maintain in a works basically on the same principle as the. Neck collet sizing die what I'm going to do is I'm going to show you basically how it works and there're some misconceptions about. This diet I've had some people tell me. That you cannot over cramp and actually. Yes you can actually deform too projectile itself not so much on a candle or bullet but on a non candle or. Bullet you can and I'm going to show you. What an over craft bullet looks like but. First let me show you how this thing works what is pretty many works is when the. Bullet is in the show holder what this. Will do this it will go in then the show. Holder will exert the pressure and squeeze the four petals down which we showed you in another video in order to. Clean this die is pretty simple you just. Take a instrument like this and push it. Out. There it is so what it's basically doing. If these four petals here are going to. Close around the very top portion of the. Neck of the bullet is only there's a. Pressure on that the last 15 to 20. Percent of the neck in order to give it. A good grip i need a candle or dan on. Candle or bullet there is a spring. Collar on here to keep it from falling. Out of the die itself and this is what gives tension and you just need to clean this off every once a while maybe you apply a little bit of dry film lube here or some molybdenum sulfide and in. Order to put this back on here make sure this little collar here forward up on. Earth a little spring you just push down till it stops here there we need when it. Squeezes down on it'll close up and when the pressure is taken off it'll loosen up I'm going to do is I'm going to go ahead and show you guys what and. Overprotect bullet will look like and it. Will change its flight characteristics and you can deform the core inside of it. This is what you don't want to do. Alright on the left side we have a bullet then we just sat it into a case. And pound it out with the buller not all. Right we have a bullet that we exert. About 60 pounds of force with a. Consistent crimp with the fata crimp die. If you look right here real close you. See there's an indentation on the bearing surface this will affect accuracy some people say might or might. Not but in my experience this will affect flight if you're hunting and. You're not targeted shooting it's not a big deal you just need a minute of animal so to speak but. It is a definite deformation in that pressure will be exaggerated inside the. Ball you'll deform the core let me. Change the angle to bullet a little more so you can see the actual deformation a. Little better is the other angle on the. Ball on the left you see there's no deformation to the bearing surface on. The bullet on the right will you see the deformation right here is it indentation. That encompasses the entire suit outside. Diameter the bullet this is what is. Against pretty much what you say is you've made an artificial candle around here without a candle airing tool on a. Bullet this sierra this bowl was not designed to be used with the candle or all the laboratory tests were made with. The bullet as a plane bullet but we see. Here that the case was pressed so far in that it causes deformation here only use. Enough crimp to maintain tension of the. Bullet try not to use so much that you're going to form it and then tilt this up i see if the camera can see it you can see that the not only did deform. It but the case has so much tension on. It caused a bright mark when we pulled. It from the case itself this is not what. You want to do.

Okay next procedure I'm going teach you. Is how to use the lead factory crimp die. This comes as a set with almost all of. Their rifle die sets except for the pace. Setter set well what you do go ahead and. Start your die in and the reason why I'm showing you this there's a way of doing it right there's a way of applying too. Much crimp okay we have a bullet the. Only time you're going to crimp able is if it has a candle or on it and the candle or is a little groove that they. Press on the side of the bullet I'm. Going to take a factory full metal. Jacket has a slight crimp on it and then. I run it up in my die I'm going to run. This down until it stops and add a. Little more to it. This should be good you only need just a little tiny bit of a crimp don't want. Too much he work it too much you know ruin your brass okay i think I've got it. Set and you're not going to know you have a set right until you run your first bullet through their sometimes you. Might want to take one or two bullets and have them in an unproved uncharged. Fully length resize case and reason why. Is if you run it you don't have to worry about trying to pull it out of their okay here's one it has not been crimped although it has been seated is charged. Ready to go. You shouldn't take much to do it you. Should be trying to push so hard on this. Think that you feel like you're resizing. The bullet now that's perfect now I'm. Going to show you what it looks like from the top of the die because you can actually see through this dime, and we see how the process goes you will. Understand better. You. Okay many of you have been wondering about the li factory cramp dye so what I'm going to do is demonstrate it here i have a shell that I've pulled the bullet out of earlier I've put a new. Measure of powder in it so now I'm going to seat a new bullet. Into so here we're we're going to seat. It in and I'm not going to use the crimp. From my seeding dye all I'm going to use. My seeding dies just to push the bullet. Into place so now I've pushed it in I'm. Going to rotate it over to the li factory crimp die now what it is it's. Also another collet type device and what. It will do is fully form around the case. To crimp it lets's see that should be in. Focus and as i operate it you'll see the. Bullet come up through and now you see. The collet closed and now I've gone walk. With it and it has completely re crimped. And i don't know if you can see the crimp that is put on the bullet but it. Is a nice even factory crimp all the way. Around another device that i can't live. Without.

Hey guys i wanted to show you a little. Something today I'm down in my dungeon so the lighting's not perfect i apologize for that but i wanted to show you something that happened to me i was doing some reloading of nine-millimeter and i had some brass from the range that i gotten that I'd picked up there was a guy there shooting a full-auto what it looked like a grease gun and i can't remember the name of the model that was on it but it fired from an open bolt and the brass was really bulged at the very base of the cartridge or the shell when it came. Out and i went ahead and reloaded in any. Way but what happened when was i was having these things were failing to chamber so i checked them on the on my. Lyman case gauge and let me zoom in for. You here so you can see this a little better what happens is that bulge in the. Band the base of the cartridge is not allowing it to seat fully and even going through my resizing die it wasn't. Getting the very base of the cartridge this should fit completely flush and the. Bottom is you can see its hanging out let me show you what that should look like with a normal car trajectory krim. Die but that's what it should look like completely flush and fitting properly in there but it doesn't so anyway a buddy. Of mine told me he's like hey why didn't you try one of those leery one of those lis factory crimp dies so i went on. Amazon i bought one and tried it out and. It's worked great so let me show you first of all how to set it up imma zoom you back out it's a cheap or i should. Say inexpensive addition to your. Reloading because the leaf factory. Crimp die you just buy the one die it comes right around you can probably find it for cheaper but i got mine off amazon because i wanted it quick and it was about 12 or 15 dollars and that was with free shipping just to set it up you. Simply you simply screw it into your. You press in this case this is my. Single stage i have this set up next to my earnie progressive but you screw it. Down until you're dying the top of the case and then you screw the sizer down. Till it touches the top of the case and when it when you get to that point you. Simply tighten down the top screw set up. Here with the knurled top edge you. Tighten that down until it touches and you turn it 1/2 turn for a full cramp and you could go more or less i went. Just act off a little bit from a full crimp and it works just fine so once you. Have that set up let me show you how that will fix it you already saw that these do not fit, and they hang up in. The case gauge so let me show you what. Happens when i run that through the factory crimp die we run that all the way down and back up and now we'll take. The case gauge and you will see that now. It sits perfectly flush drops out like. It should so this will fit perfectly in. A chamber unlike the ones that i originally loaded that were jamming up in my walther ppq so let's run this. Other one through it so you already saw that one didn't fit to run this one through and there we go another one. Perfectly resized now in addition to. Resizing messed up brass like this the. The additional benefit of having the crimp die is that that cramp puts a lot. A tight grip onto the bullet so the. Brass is basically crimped or pressed just a little teeny bit into the bullet what that does also in addition to resizing and doing a better job at getting this like a good uniform and. Improper size for the chamber it as well. Hangs onto that bolt just a little bit which allows the pressure to increase a little bit a little bit longer as it holds onto the bull just a little bit longer allows that pressure increase so it goes flying out and you actually get a little bit a slight increase in velocity in the bullet which is an. Increase of power so that's the other advantage if you guys want to add this to your reloading setup it's. Cheap way to do it you can also set this up as a station on your progressive. Lines a five station one and i would have to remove my powder cock that's why i have it over here on my single stage so i just do it after it's. More time-consuming but being down here in my reloading room is kind of therapy for me it's kind of hypnotic and almost like a meditation being down here doing these repetitive motions so i don't mind it's kind of my time my. Hey guys i want to show you something that's an alternative to the mister bullet feeder it's about 160 bucks and. From a tip that i got from a fellow person at our forum I'll leave a link. Below i was able to put together some. Very similar setup for about 80. Bucks so right here is the hardy bullet. Feeder lock and load for 9 mils sits. Right there that station and this is the. Lis multi feeder die i guess or bullet. Bullet feeder it's pretty good. Setup got the tubes right here and it's. Actually not very long maybe about a. Foot and a half long the problem was how. To set it from here and could not get an. Adapter until somebody turned me on to this well-made cnc'd aluminum so pretty. Well made and it just slips right over. The adapter the bullet misses a nun. Adopter rather and this stable part up. Here makes it so that when you set the. Lis multi feeder bullets nice and stable. Okay. The adapter comes with two inserts one. For 9-mil and I'm gonna probably surmise. That this is for the bigger bullets maybe 40 or 45 right there okay see you. In action. And when your run out of bullets in the. Turret and the tube just twist this over. And the new one just drops in just like. That holds about a hundred rounds this. Multi tube feeder sure beats putting a. Four-foot to my home a good alternative. To the mister bullet feeder.

Sets you get a sizing and decapping die. And expander die and depending on which. Sets you buy you either get the standard. Seating guy or the taper crimp seating. Guide I'll talk about those in just a second be sizing and the capping die has. A gold ring it's a titanium nitride ring. There it's harder than carbide and it's very slick very smooth ii won't scratch your cases it's great for reloading you. Don't need to lube the cases gives you a. Good size the decapping spindle here. This is the zip spindle it's actually. Threaded so you can adjust it by. Screwing it in or out you loosen the. Lockout here and you screw the zip. Spindle in and out to get the decapping. In about 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch below. The bottom of the die it comes with. Extra decapping pins you can replace the. Pin in there in case you break one it's not like the old decapping spindles. Where it was all one piece and if you break it you had to replace the entire peace now they come with you xers the. Fact that it's threaded the old ones weren't threaded they were smooth and you just kind of pushed in and out to. Adjust it, and they had a tendency to slide when you were decapping your cases. This one since it's threaded it's got. A positive lock against moving so they. Don't they don't slip anymore okay. That's the sizing and decapping die you. Expand or die that's all it does is. Expands the neck of the case so that you can get a bullet down in it i rarely. Ever use these because when I'm loading pistol ammunition i have my quantity. Powder measure with the powder through expander in it so the charging the case. With powder and expansion the neck happens at the same time but if you. Don't have that yeah it does the pistol. Die set comes with a an expander die. Now the bullet seeding dies whether you. Get the standard seating die at it doesn't roll crimp or you get the taper crimp die they come with the extra seating stems. 1/4 ball ammunition or around those. Ammunition you would replace the seating. Die inside the die the other scene stem. Inside the die there and this one's for. Ball and if you're loading a flat point. Like this around us flat point here it. Comes with a flat seating die so that. It you know works a little better on flat nosed ammunition the standard. Seating guy that comes with it gives you a roll crimp and you adjust the entire. Die down in order to determine how much. Crimp you get the taper crib guy has. A separate adjustment knob so that you. Can adjust how much taper crimp you. Get using the adjustment knob here instead. Of turning the entire die down they both. Have a same kind of seating stem at the. Top or seating adjustment at the top. Unfortunately the unlike with the rifle. Dies there's no micro adjustable seating. Adjuster for the pistol dies and the one. That come for the rifles won't work with the pistol size so you don't get as. Precise a seating adjustment as you. Would with say rifle but typically. With pistol, it's not the hair off by. A thousandth it's not that critical and. That's really all there is to the. Pistol dies of hornady they do have an. American series which is a less expensive version of the same thing pretty much although i don't think it comes with a tapered eye when you buy it. Dies if you're looking for a tapered i look for the set that has the taper die with it you can buy the taper dies separately but if you don't plan on ever using the standard seating die then it's a. Thinking really what's to know you get a sizing into capping die you get a. Bullets eating die what else do you need. To know well a little more to it than that now the hornet ii dies come in three. Different grades there's the american series which i don't have a set of those. But you can see in the inset it's basically a sizing decapping die and a. Bullets eating die they're run about $25.00 roughly, and they're compatible. With products that are out there on the. Market from other manufacturers now the. Custom grade dies of hornady which i. Have here also come with a sitting decapping die in a bullet feeding die. These are set up so that they can use. Some options and accessories that available from hornady start with the. Sizing and decapping dies the full. Length sizing die it has what they call their zip spindle which is the decaf. Indle the zip spindles actually thread. It so you look and loosen the locknut. Here and then you can actually. Screw these zip spindle in and out you can see it going in and out to adjust. The decapping pin down here now there's. A zip spindle the oh the old spindles were smooth you would just push that you unlock them the locknut and then you just kind of push them back and forth or in and out until you got them to the right length. The decapping thin on the old spindles. Was actually a part of the spindle so if they be capping pin broke you'd have to get a whole new spindle whereas with the. Zip spindle this elliptical expander. Here can be unscrewed and the decapping. Pin can be removed and replaced trust me. It can be removed it's a little sticky in their ain't it but you can get just a replacement to. Capping pin then and put your put it. Back in your expander and then screw it. Back on to the zip spindle. Like so let's get it on there and then. We bring the zip spindle back in. Adjust it then once it's adjusted to the point where we want it we adjust the we. Tighten the lock screw down and i won't. Move now since it's threaded there it won't move the smooth sided spindle. If you had say the military crimp on you. On the primer or a primer that was. Particularly hard to get out the cinder. Would actually kind of push itself out whereas with the zip spindle that's not a that's not an issue and there's a. Spindle by the way you can buy separately so if you've got one of the older dies with the older spindle on it you can buy just the zip spindle and. Replace it with the new one so you cannot have a six mendonsa the old. Smooth sided spindle now the bullets. Eating die is basically just a tube all the action happens on the inside up here. Is your adjustment stem down here is. Your alignment sleeve which goes in and out of the die I'm going to take. This apart here you can see the insides. Are what's on the inside this is just a. Screw adjustment screw inside there is a. Seating stem and I'm going to pop the. Alignment sleeve off here you have to pop this wire off like so and then the. Alignment stem will come out what. Happens the seating stem goes down into the. Alignment sleeve like so now what. Happens when you're seeing your bullets in your cases is the bullet and the neck. Of the case will enter the alignment. Sleeve and note that will do is that will align the bullet and the end the case so that it's got some sort of. Concentricity that's the bullet is going straight down into the k the end of the bullet goes into the hole. Here at the end to bottom of the seating stem which helps align the alignment and. Then as the whole assembly has moved up. Into the die eventually it comes in. Contact with the seating stem and that. Will then push the bullet down into the. End of the case see here the end of the. Seating stem goes over the end of the bullet okay so that's what's happening. On the inside basically you have everything lined up like that on the. Inside now I'm going to go ahead and put. The climate's lead back in and to lock. That in place put the spring back on. And i lox the linemen stem back in and. Then i can put the adjustment stem back. In the top when you first buy a new set of dies you want to do that you want to take it completely apart like i just did there and use a cleaner and lubricant on. It they come shipped with a rust. Inhibitor coating on them and that gets. Kind of sticky it makes it gums up all the works i use a hornady gun cleaner and dry lube. That will clean off that rust inhibitor. And they'll leave a nice teflon lube on. The surfaces so everything will work. Nice and smoothly and I'll also act as a rust inhibitor. Now using the dies like this is. Perfectly fine you can get nice accurate. Loads but if you really want to improve. The accuracy you really you're going to create some match-grade ammunition you. Can make some modifications to these first modification is you get rid of this altogether and you replace it with. One of the match-grade dies usually you. Have a next size die at a full size die either one you can use to bump the. Shoulder down the full sized die i typically use when I'm when i have a. Brand new set of a box of cases they've. Been Never fired or if i have cases and then fired in another rifle I'll use the. Full sized i also usually when I'm. Reloading for my ar-15 or semi-automatic. Rifle I'll use my full size die too to. Help with the feeding mechanism for my. Bolt-action if i have some fire forms cases for my bolt-action I'll use the. Next size die this will also allow you to bump the shoulder down if you need to essentially match-grade dies. Come with some instructions this is the. Match grade next sizing die comes with. Some extra decapping pins also you have. The option of either using the. Elliptical expander if you're going to if you need the neck expanded slightly to make it easier to seat the bullet you can use this expander or you can just. Use the decapping piece for instance if. You are going to be sizing your. Neck down for a specific chamber you. Don't want the expander to mess that up so you can just do the decapping by itself so you have the option you can use either one comes with several extra or a couple extra decapping pins in case. This one breaks you don't have to replace the whole stem now you'll notice. The stem is not the same as the zips. Spindle that comes with the custom. Grade dies the. The capping pen is adjusted by loosening. The lock knob here and then you can. Screw it in or out. Using the adjustment knob at the top and. If you can see that is coming out there i can and pull it back in a little bit. So i can adjust it to where i need it in order to properly define the case now. The other difference with the math grade. Dies so it allows you to select the size. Of how the neck of the case is sized for. Example if i take a fire form piece of. Brass this is fired in my Remington 700. If i measure this it comes out to 338. Thousandths know what i want to do with this the neck here I'm going to do the next sizing so. To leave the case alone as far as. Sizing it up or down but i do want to. Size the neck down by about mm well what. To do is you buy the appropriate. Bushings this one is three hundred thirty-six thousand so since the. The fire form neck is three hundred thirty-eight thousand i can buy the three and thirty-six thousand bushing so. That i can size the neck down to three. And thirty-six it will fit my chamber a. Little better what you do is you take the bushing there's a thick side and a. Thin side you put it with the thick side down and you place that in your die. Then you replace the decapping stem. Now when i size this case it'll size the. Neck down to 336 thousands and that will. Be just a couple thousandths off of the actual size of my chamber so it'll it'll. Fit my chamber a little better give me a more accurate load so that's the match. Grade diets if you get the next sizing. Or a die or the full size die both of them will allow you to bump the shoulder down we'll talk about bumping your shoulder down when i get to the loading for accuracy series of videos now i. Replace my sizing and decapping die with. A match grade die so I've improved my accuracy there i can also make some. Adjustments to the bullet seating die. Now you'll notice that the adjustments. Down at the top here has fairly coarse threads so it's not as easy to adjust. The bullet seating depth you know. Down in it by thousandths of an inch. It's a little more difficult what i can. Do is i can replace this with a. Micrometer seeing's down basically i. Screw this in and in place of my course. Threaded adjustments down and now what i have is a very fine threaded adjustment. Here it has a micrometer on it that. Allows me to measure exactly where my. Seating stem is or how far down the seating stem is so that i can repeat the. The depth for a particular bullet or for. A particular rifle particular load whatever i can use. These number don't know if you can see those numbers on there on the. Video but they're there trust me i can. See them just fine so now i have a much. More precise way of seating the bullet. Now the member of the seating stem. That's in there the seating stem that comes with the die. Is good for just about any spire point. Bullet but laundry makes a specific. Seating stone for there a max bullets. The rifle they also have a seating. Stones for their ft x series the bullets. For handguns so if i remove the. Alignment sleeve i can replace the. Seating stone with a seating stone. That's designed for the 308 a mac specifically let me pop that out here. And this one fits the a max bullet just. Perfectly so I'm going to replace the. Seating stand in the alignment sleeve. With that one and then replace my. Alignments down their line the sleeve rather put the spring back in there to. Hold it in. And there we go now I've got a seeding. Stem specifically for the bullet that I'm going to be using for my accuracy loads or my match grade loads. So there's the custom grade dies or at. Least one of them that have been. Accurized basically they've been turned into match grade dies instead of just. The standard custom grade now a pair of. Custom grade dies will run about 45 50. Bucks the masquerade dies are about 45 50. Bucks by themselves so you can either. Buy the custom grade dies and then. Replace the seating and acara. Sizing and decapping die with a masquerade die for about 45 so you're. Talking about 90 bucks there or you can. Buy just the custom grade seating die. For about $25 and buy the match grade. Die for 45 so you've got an investment. Of about 70 you can save yourself a little money i like to buy the set of custom grade dies so i have it the option of either using the custom grade. Die that came with the set if I'm just going to put some ammo together for. Plinking or if I'm going for accuracy then i can. I can use the match grade die so i like. To do both the micrometer bullet seeding. Stem will run about 25 dollars and the. Seeding stem for a max bullets is right. Around twelve dollars so you know you can spend as much or as little as you. Want on a set of dies but i usually go. All out when I'm creating my competition stuff. So that's basically all there is to the. Quantity diet as you can see it's more. Just um saw these dyes they were cheap like 30 bucks mmm. Figured i couldn't pass that up so i got them, and they get here, and they're in this freaking blister pack so fine. Example of me not reading the description when i order some shit get. These and I'm like whoa where the helps the red case yeah horny guys usually. Come looking like this it's like what. The heck well turns out these are there. Economize dyes and yeah so let's take a. Look at what's in the blister pack and see what i got all right so rip and open. The blister pack here hopefully without. Having to use a knife free shell holder. That's one thing they advertise with it. All right this is the decapping guy and. One of the unique things about it is the. Sizing ring there is titanium nitride. Coated you know ten they call it kind of. Like your ar-15 bolts then your belling. Die noticed on here while it was in the. Blister pack it had some machining marks. On it. No rough finish whatever economize and. Your seating diet they also claimed and. Boast love they'll give you a couple free decapping pens couple spares and. Supposedly this thing is full of. Reloading information. A lot of general info here's the actual. Well shooters and re loaders out their fortune cookie 45 else take a minute even hot lads own and you know how i. Like to have a good assortment of these. Universal loading trays on my reloading. Bench these red ones are the mtm and. Blue ones are the newer frankfort arsenal they're basically copies the. Frankfurt arsenal's a copy of the mtm. And they both work well they work well. With the wsm short magnums they work. Well for us with 223 nine millimeter 45. Disguisting and they even work well with. The 8 millimeter mazal so you see the. Important thing is when you wiggle these they go back to center, so they stay. Vertical and the frankfort arsenal does. The same thing now the frankfurt are so is a little less expensive than the mtm. Now the back side does the 9 millimeter. And 45 acp only the front side gives. More versatility but how versatile are. These let's find out you know how much i. Like to load the 45 colt when you put the 45 colt in here it doesn't want to. Stay vertical you see it doesn't return to center and. The same thing is even worse with the. Frankfurt arsenal which is a little bit soft or plastic then you see that will stay vertical we don't really like that. It doesn't work as well now here is a. 7.62 by 54r russian round and when you. Put it in there you see again it doesn't want to come back to vertical you see so. It doesn't work as well with that popular going to a classic american rimmed round the 3030 winchester forget. About using this on the other side 45 9. Millimeters died no chance you put this. In here and again they don't they don't. Go vertical so that's not the best. For our popular 3030 loading and here's. A real problem with these types of mtm. Frankford arsenal's universal trace our popular 4570 forget it no chance and. That's why as you recall i actually made. My own 4570 out of a 2x4 and a drill. That i drill holes in to get this to fit. And of course there are other trays that load this and perhaps that's why i. Searched for another one so this review is on this is the rcbs. Universal loading tray and it's as well. Made in china of course but still this. One is a very fine moulding you don't see any defective mold in there's. No little flaps or little tags they're. All perfectly clear receptacles in this. Rcbs loading tray but how good is it as. A universal let's find out is that the 45 colt in the rcbs is self-similar we. Like that it's a good one for the 45 colt 3030 winchester see how itself. Centers that's good in the winchester. Short magnums very nice fit now when you. Turn the rcbs over the short magnums. Also fit not quite as good but they fit. But look at the 7.62 by 54r nicely self. Centers that's really good and then look. At the 45 70 perfect that's what i was. Looking for something that the 4570 would be handled and here's our eight. Millimeter 30.6 308 this kind of thing. That's good and of course your 223 is a. Very nicely handled fit with the rcbs. Tray so i must say this is a nice trade. Only reason why i didn't this before was this cost it's about two. Eight something dollars compared to the. Six something dollars for the other two. Underneath and this one's really cheap tis this frankford are someone is $6.99. Or something of that nature so this one. Is like $6.99 this one's 8 something. $8.99 this kind of thing well these are. On sale at midway usa this week for 761. And for that price i decided to get a. Couple of them and I'm actually glad i did these are nice trays in fact for 761. I wish i had bought these instead of those but no matter a couple of these. Will do nicely and these are still good. Trays so these are cbs aren't bad if. You're in the market for some more trays. You might wanna look at these for 761. Has a little more versatility than these. However i am not unhappy with these than. A la reloading with these mtm s and as well. Using these now from frankfurt arsenal so these are three great trays for your. Reloading bench and with the rcbs. Well hi guess what i made a mistake well. If you're 70 years old you've made a few. In your lifetime — i loaded up some. Wonderful 6.5 crete more rounds only i. Used the wrong primer so now i have to. Take these apart there's a couple of ways you can do it you can use an. Inertia type bullet puller where you put. The case down inside the cartridge down. Inside and whack it on something hard i. Use a barbell actually works well i. Don't lift them i just beat okay and. What happens though is then you have to. Take it apart and you have to take the case out and put the case aside and you. Got your little gripper and set it aside then because you've got this thing full. Of powder and a bullet you have too vary. Carefully let the pattern get back in. Here without dropping the bullet down. Into your canopy you know you see it and. Then you got to put it back together to use again so you're thinking this is a. Terrible tool no this is a wonderful tool when you only got to do it one or two or five just i keep it right there. You use it all the time just grab it whaps do it when you're setting up dies you frequently will overdo something and. You need to take it apart and start over right here to the rest of you fine on. The other hand if you've got a lot of them to do and I've got 60 to do you. Want to use a more production type of thing here's the way this one works. You run the bullet up inside of this. Collet and you turn the threaded. Pour that pulls the collet up inside. Didn't gramps the bullet and pulled case. Away leaving the bullet behind so now. You very easily got your bullet I'm in your case full of powder you dumped your. Powder in their then you stick it over. Here and i don't know the air conditioners running might not hear you. Knock out the primary and don't bother. To even try to salvage a primary trust. Me on that do not yes it will fire more than likely. But it won't be a rat again you'll have. Patterns not groups as a result you. Probably are picking up a wine never. Mind anyway how's this thing work well besides think the obvious it works. Very well i didn't even do you. Didn't even show you that there's the bullet pristine perfect not a mark on it. This thing grips it like a mother grabs. A baby i mean it's just and here's. What's inside there's this threaded pour. Call it and what it's doing is it's. Pulling this collet and this is the. Downside of this thing you've got to have a column for each size of bullet so. Here's a six point five millimeter colins in addition you if you've got a 223. You'll have to have a 22 college now the nice thing is that 22 collet would as well. Work for 222 250 of 222 220 swift etc so. You would need like a 22 caliber or 6. Millimeter caliber 25 6.5 27 7. Millimeter etc if you have those. Cartridges you'll have to have one of these, and they're about by the time you pay tax or shipping they're twelve thirteen dollars something like that but if but you can use the same body. Over and over and over but if you're if you're into a production situation here. Where you've got a lot of these then. This is the white coat and then the. Print one more time you take our load it around as a correct primer you run it up. And it's that the mouth of the case. Is actually hitting the face of the collar just the bullets going up inside. Tighten it down and pull it and then. Take your powder can you see it there. Okay knock out the primer and away you. Go okay don't don't even bother to comment. About knocking out primers that are live okay if it goes alright it's. Gonna make a noise I'm not worried about it never has but if it does its just. Gonna make a noise it's not gonna hurt me I'm wearing a safety glass don't. Comment okay thank you that's it rights. There. Hey okay. In the interest of science we have a case here where we have removed the. Bullet and the powder and now we're. Going to knock out the primer using this. Lead decapping die I've removed the. Little bottle that catches everything then here so the primer will just go straight through what i want to demonstrate is what will happen get it. Up in there if you slam it down instead. Of easing the mouth away i was ready. We'll knock the primer out of it okay. They're there for your inspection is the. Primer and if you notice on the other. Side it's not bulged or anything now. There is a what you think may be a flaw. Or defect but if you realize this is a. Cci bench rest primer and they have a. Little tiny be stamped on there which is. What that is but it's not bulging it did. Not go off and before i shot this video. I tried this five times i don't plan to. Do that each time but i think it pretty well. Serves to show you that you can decap. These live primers and then any without. Any fear one more thing about this. As much as i love the forester coax. Press and extol its virtues you do you. Know how much i love this press it. Doesn't work with these conventional. Kind of bullet post because the die is. Free to turn inside the groove that. Holds the that holds the retaining nut. Composite ear but you know so the whole. Think would just if it's not locked down tight and when you try to turn it instead of this thing's threading up it. Would just simply rotate the entire dyson now forrester has one that will work. With it and I'm sure it's like their other products it's excellent but if you have one from our cbs it won't or who. Else I'm not sure now hornady makes one. Come to think of it that uses a lever to. Get cams over to pull the collet up. Inside the taper and that one very well. Could work right here i don't know it might but i suspect that you know you're. Gonna want to use a conventional depress. That's one of the few things that press. Doesn't just be to everybody else on but. Bears bear told you. Now get this thing set up right now. Watch it just go through one cycle or less time in less time walk down decap. Ignite when you hit it removing it. Occurred to me that it might be fun to. Try to put one in their upside down so. That the the normal striking surface. Of the primer is on the inside instead. Of the outside so we can see this you. See these here we go so you have a. Normal primer here and then the one i. Just did which is the primer upside down. I'll be honest I'm not sure what well i. Do i think it's going to go off because the decapping pins gonna hit it from. The inside just like a firing pin would and just to be safe I've removed the. Little catcher bottle i think this will. Go off you ready. Well i guess it's just harder to set one. Off then, you would think that one oh. Yeah now that one has a substantial oops. Dent it has a substantial dent up there. In the face of it but it's its like a. Light primer strike oh no thanks it. Takes a pretty good bit to set one of those things off science marches on for. Those of you who have been wondering in. Case you don't know this particular. Grain press I'm using here is the are. Arming the reading undramatic. And it's a great press i bought it years. Ago when i started shooting black powder. Cartridge rifles and that great four and. A half or four and three-quarter inch throats there allows you to get those. Long black powder cartridges in there. For and those 500 grain bullets that. Stick out so far they all fit in there. This is the reading undramatic we can. Get the typical priming the old and so. Forth and what i also like about it is it expels primers down through the. Center of the ram and they're captured. In this tube down underneath and it'll. Hold about a million it's a and it's. Opening front it's big and solid and a. Lot of things are really easier to do on. It. And some other presses like getting your. Hand in there — can't catch that because it's i don't know only it really matters that much but anyway that's what it is ready thank you folks. 58 59 this is the penultimate case how. Many of you use that word incorrectly. Like i did forever penultimate does not mean like the most. Ultimate it means the next to the last so that was the penultimate cartridge. And this is the ultimate cartridge the last number 50 are number 60 penultimate. It's like bill o'reilly that's our word. For the day no thank you. Today we're going to be talking about the rcbs collet bullet puller the very. Nice little setup that allows you to. Salvage projectiles and powder and all. Of your components if you end up having. Cartridges you end up having mistakes with that you need to salvage or disassemble them, so they're not unsafe. To other someone else it's good for that or if you come into a lot of ammo that you know maybe has some bad components you can definitely salvage everything probably the most predominant use of. This die is actually to pull bullets of. Course but it is a crucial step in. Disassembling a bad ammo way this dye. Works as it has basically a four. Fingered collet on the inside of the die and a threaded cap on the end that when. You tighten it actually pulls the collet up against a curved surface inside of the die itself and allows the. Fingers of the collet to close on the surface of the bullet and you have different kaulitz for every bullet diameter respectively you'll have 308 22. And so forth so install the collet. You'll have to have your normal shell holder respectively place your bullet in. The shell holder or the ammo run the. Press up run the rim of the press-up. Until the mouth of the casing comes in contact with the actual collet you. Tighten down the collet it will grip the. Bullet and when the oops a little. Tighter and when you in theory when you. Come down on the press the bullet stays. Up inside of the die and that's it you can salvage your components fairly not a. Lot to it i definitely like it a. Little bit better than a standard kinetic bullet puller a little bit more. Controlled and you definitely don't run the risk of damaging the bullets as long as you don't tighten them up too much and what he's salvaging here are actually tracer rounds. All right sometimes you have to whack. The top of it come out alright we'll see. That bullet that's just a 55 burner you. See where it's been sealed with that tar compound i hold still. Now that round like that the 55 grain. It's just a regular xm 193 these are. Just about impossible to get out with a regular kinetic puller i mean you can you know work that thing all day long. And you still never going to get it out i mean you might be able to but collett. Pollard makes it a heck of a lot easier to pull these type of projectiles since. They are sealed you know it just works a. Lot better it's easier and it doesn't damage the projectile you can reuse this projectile if you so choose.

Hey guys welcome back to his your six covered appreciate you showing up today we're going to talk about the rcbs bullet puller a lot of us that reload. Will make a batch of something and sometimes it won't work out maybe. It doesn't cycle the firearm that we're trying to get it to go to you when we're messing with trying to make light loads whatever the case is but i got a bucket here a bad ammunition and today finally. I went out and purchased our cbs bullet. Puller which is a model number nine four. Four zero and then with that you need to buy the right call it for whatever and. You're using the collets are about ten bucks i can't remember what the bullet puller was but it comes like this so. Basically if you have some type of single stage press or whatever the case is this will go in the press that'll go. In here you'll tighten the bullet if i. Got one here you'll tighten around the projectile and then your machine will pull the projectile out so you can save. The powder you can save the projectile. It makes it nice it saves money and then. You just don't have a big bucket of stuff sitting there so I'll show you how this works real quick we'll get down to business all right so i got today I'm. Using a reading single-stage press this. Basically just goes in here it doesn't. Really matter on the height so we'll. Call that good and we'll give it a. Little crank and that's all is needed. You know this part does come with it. This is one will tighten down the collet today let's do we're gonna do 40 so I'll. Just push this up in here a couple spins I'll add the right shell plate and this. One set up for the 40 and then let's get. A couple of folders. So in here we'll be doing a jacketed. Hollow-point that'll be one that we're. Work on will show that you can use these. With the acme bullets as well and i have. Some regular extreme or barry's bullet. I'm not sure which here we go right here. So there's ten different types you can. See down here I've already pulled a bunch but I'm going to show you how easy this works and i am going to move the. Camera around and that way you can really get an idea of what's going on so. Reposition the camera so you guys can see what I'm doing your gonna need something to capture the powder that's coming out of it so I'm just gonna put this back into the tight group as that's what i was using. When i loaded these the bullet that will start off with the jacket a hollow-point real quick put it in the shell holder bring that up. And then for the first one i had to spin. It a few extra times but you're basically just a very light pull and it. Comes out so that now i can capture the. Powder reuse that i let go of the collet. And then i end up with a perfectly good. Bullet that has no marring on it. You can't over tension these what you. Don't need to do you will ruin the. Project I've got full metal jacket hollow point here just finish with the. Red acme bullet looks good no deformity. We'll do another one again i think that's where the video ended so you got. A 180 grain 40 cal acme bullets and that. Wasn't tight enough so I'll bring it loosens it back up and then give it a little more and that worked just fine. Some people are using the hammer which. Is an inertia driven where it you know. You sit there and hammer it and it pulls the bullet out nothing wrong with. I just didn't want to i didn't want to. Deal with all that i didn't want to sit there and hammer late at night when you. Now the family might be sleeping and I'm in the garage trying to beat the crap out of these things to get him to come out i wanted something that was a little nicer a little easier to do and. Then you know this stuff's gonna last. Forever so it's a good investment it's. Not like I'm gonna stop reloading and not need this stuff so definitely useful. But it's very simple we will do a change. Real quick and i will show you how fast. A changes to a different caliber so I'm. Gonna pull the shell choosing a shell. Plate it's a shell holder and let's do. This one brand-new one here, so we'll put. The old 9 millimeters in throw that in. There that's simple enough right. I'll take this lower this down a little bit without squishing my fingers and. That's that simple i will put a new one. In which will be this one which is brand. New in a package so i move that over. Then flip this the right way turn that. Up a hair smidge and I'll grab a 9. Millimeter this is a hollow-point 9. Millimeter run it to where it starts to pull that. One's a toughy there i think I'm was on the brass a little. But there we go hmm so that's the first. Time i use that one it looks like with. The 40 cal you can bring it all the way up in the collet will catch on the. Brass this one it looks like are not catch on the brass the 9 millimeter looks like it can go up there you go. Maybe it's just that one so that's how simple that is bam i just saving money. Right now getting to collect powder we use my brass in the projectile mostly. The expensive part that only came out. Super easy and that's how fast this is. It's very simple to use you can have your you know young son or daughter. Sitting or helping you if you really wanted to it's very very simple so. Let's do a little bit of mixing some stuff up i did a hollow point this is a full metal jacket nice easy very easy to. Do very simple so let me try something. We haven't done yet let's try the acme. Bullet 124 grain acme bullets a nine. Millimeter see how easy it is comes right out let's see if we get any marring on the projectile nope looks. Good you can see a little bit of where. The crimp from the projectile was squeezed down a little bit but it looks. Really good let's try another one of those here's a blue bullet so let's try. Blue bullet this is a high-tech coated. Or powder coated projectile as well I'm. Gonna do a very light just a quick thing. That didn't work so I'll loosen it up. Again that didn't work i didn't really. Go much tighter let me squeeze down on it and it came right out but let's see. What we did i see if i could have gone a little bit lighter without deforming the. Bullet well it's kind of cool too as you. Can tell your crimp if your crimps too. Tight or your flaring is not wide enough where you're getting some basically. Where you'd be getting lead fouling you can see there that the powder coat either from loading it or pulling it was. Damaged the coating a little bit so it's. Good to get an idea of what you're doing maybe your crimps too tight maybe it's. Up another i don't know 500 to it no. Thanks 5 to 700 rounds I've converted to. 23 5 5 6 breaths into the magical bullet. We call the 300 blackout and wanted to give a shout out to mighty armory for an. Amazing product this is the universal. Decapping die covers everything from 380. To 308 and everything in between that pin that decapping pin is a monster so. Got it by stage 1 got a rcbs 300. Blackout you can see i took the pin out I've got some shavings in there just from the cutting of the brass so I'll. Tell you it really takes the stress off of the decapping pin on your standard. Reloading dies so just sitting here and. Obviously there's a little bit of rough edges, but we're going to trim those up and yeah so i wanted to give a quick.
