Hey it’s Josh over J and H today we’re taking a look at the Abu Garcia ambassador c4 there 6600 round baitcasting reel. You might not know this, but Abu totally redid the C 3 s and C for this year. Much better! Look to them! I, like the blue on this reel, really nice. You could tell the difference immediately from the handle. The the new version has the bent handle bent star drag. You can see how that’s bent in towards the reel makes a more ergonomic. It brings everything closer to the reel.

The other big change is that they added a booze during ear to gear system, which is a more efficient way of doing a gear system, so that the the alignment of the gears give you more power with less with the more effortless turn of the handle. So you don’t have to struggle to turn the handle to get the same amount of power that you would so it’s definitely a much smoother reel. Then last years I mean you could feel it right away if you’re familiar with the older C fours great reel.

You know this if you’ve never seen this reel you’re not familiar with Abu, c3s or c4. These are, like you know, workhorse reels, it’ll last your lifetime. If you take care from great bait, caster wheels great casting reel they’ve got the built-in six pin centrifugal brakes. They really are great for casting great for bottom fishing, great for a freshwater saltwater. Anything I mean they’re, really versatile, so great reel to have in your in your arsenal.

Retail on it is just about 140 bucks. It’s totally worth it. It’s one of those reels will last you a lifetime. Six point: three to one gear ratio: gonna hold 320 yards of 12 pound test mono, which translates to three hundred and little over the range of yards of thirty pound braid. These are made in Sweden, so you’ve any quality and a lot of guys are adverse to having reels made in overseas. You know in China and other countries in Asia, but this one is made in Sweden.

They do a really good job of quality control and they make a great product so check it out. I highly recommend it. It’s got the push button right here. You can just push it down to putting your in a free, spool turn the handle. Pops back up, engage a nice comfortable thumb bar right there. This thing weighs just ten point: nine ounces. So it’s nice and light fifteen pounds of drag with the carbon matrix drag system, which is you know the drag system that ably uses in there iron rails.

It’s just it’s just a great value, great real use it every day fantastic I should mention. It’s also got the clicker Clippers right here. If you, if you need it, you just put it up like that. Hey it’s Josh over J and H today we’re taking a look at the brand-new Abu Garcia ambassador c3 – 5500 around baitcasting reels. This reel got a yo. This whole series got a complete refresh for this year’s. Just came out a couple of days ago. The you know they look very similar to what they used to, but they change the coloring up a little bit and change the internals and actually made them a better reel. You know sort of them eating potatoes, baitcaster meal. You know, I grew up with these fishing for fluke and Porgy, and that kind of stuff off off the coast of Long Island, and they are fantastic.

You know this is the type of reel that you want to take out. Every time holds up really well, doesn’t fail. You know. As long as you keep it clean, you know, keep the salt out of it. It’ll last you a lifetime with very little maintenance. These are great for freshwater or saltwater fishing. If you’re going to saltwater fish with them, you’re going to bottom fish with them, you can totally do that. Just try not to go above three ounces of lead just because once you do that, it’s better to go with.

You know what your going above, three ounces better go with a a little bit of a beef. Your reel you’re, just the internals need to be beefed up with that kind of soft foot. If you’re fishing, three ounces or less bottom fishing fluke rope or get like I I do no problem, you can catch a wide variety of species. With this, these reels or the 5500 weighs in at just nine point nine ounces. It’s got the aluminum frame. Nice comfortable, thumb rest right there, easy to use push button, engage turn the handle to take it out of that.

It’s got the nice comfortable handle. You can see that it’s bent and it’s bent towards the the body makes a more ergonomic star. Drag, is to sort of bent in it brings the handle closer to the to the reel and gives it a more ergonomic feeling holds 240 yards of 12 pound test mono, which translates to 235 yards of 30 pound braid. It’s got the nice synchronised level wine system on there. No clicker on this size reel if you want to click or you got to go up to the the 6500, it’s got.

The carbon matrix drag system, let’s split up, puts out 15 pounds of drag drag is very smooth, powerful. Three stainless steel ball bearings in here, plus one roller bearing and the other thing that I really like about this drill, which is right here made in Sweden, high-quality. You know any of the reels. The Abba reels that are made in Sweden are really nice, and this is no exception. So, if you’re looking for a you know small to medium sized baitcasting reel, you don’t want to spend a lot of money.

This one is just under 120 bucks. She mentioned gear ratios five point three to one definitely check out it’s a great reel that could last you a lifetime. Hey it’s Josh over J and H today we’re taking a look at the Abu Garcia ambassador, c3, -, 6500 round baitcasting reels, you might not know it, but for 2013 or 2014 it’s the end of the year, at least in the fishing industry. I got a total refresh, so this is a change. Real Abba was updated. It’s smoother now they’ve changed the handle and stardrive to the bent version. You can see how it curves inwards towards the reel. This is makes it more. Ergonomic, brings your hand close to the reel and just a lot.

You know for less fatigue. The internals are reworked again, it’s a lot smoother. It’s definitely better than last year’s model. Lumen frame, it’s got the nice comfortable, um rest, the synchronised level wine system right there. It’s got a 6 pin centrifugal break in here. So it’s great for casting also great for bottom fishing. You know bass, bluefish fluke, at least here in the Northeast. Any sort of small fish also use it for fresh water. No problem, this one’s got the clicker on it right there smaller wheels, don’t only the 6500 and 6501 do so.

If you’re, if you need a clicker, this is definitely a good option. Retails for a hundred twenty bucks, it’s a great deal. You know these reels. If you take care of them, the last your lifetime just keep them clean, they’re great made in Sweden. So you know: you’re gonna get quality nice and light weighs just ten point: seven ounces, 5 3 to 1 gear ratio on this and a great carbon matrix rack system puts out fifteen pounds of drag. Really can’t say enough about these reels.

If you are looking for a baked, yes really you don’t want to spend a lot of money. You want something’s gonna last. This is definitely and I really do love this series. I’ve been fishing with it. Another awesome reel product of sweden, abu garcia- this is the ambassador. 5500 c actually has bearings in it. This is another reel that I used a long time um my catfish. With this reel smooth casting you can cast them a long ways level wind got the pawl that goes here inside there metal reel seat. This reel here is in really good shape.

The maiden sweden models are the best. There’s your spool tension. It’s got. A big four star drag factory, handle everything about this reels factory. I have not modified this reel. I haven’t changed. Any of the bearings: haven’t changed any of the drag or anything have it changed to a ceramic pawl? Nothing like that.

It’s all factory reel I’ve caught a lot of good fish on this, but I took this one out of my out of service as well putting it up into my collection, starting to get a little bit too much boat, rash and stuff on it. As you can tell around the tops and stuff, when I got it, it was immaculate. I mean it didn’t, have a touch mark on it anywhere, but uh I’ve been pretty rough on it.

This releases your bail, then you can cast out. There is no bait clicker on this. This is a lot of a lot of bass. Fishermen used to use these walleye bass stuff, like that really really good reels, though a lot of people like these and a lot of guys will tell you, oh, you can’t take a 5500 and go catfishing with it.

I’ve caught. I don’t know how. I can’t even count how many catfish I’ve caught on this reel. They’ll say: oh, you don’t hold enough line. You’ll get spooled yeah! You got to know how to fight your fish, so you don’t get spooled. If you don’t know how to fish, then you’re going to get spooled but great great reels.

I have enjoyed fishing with this over the years. I love fishing with vintage gear, vintage reels and stuff, but yeah you can. You can see. That’s a sharp looking reel product of sweden. Abu garcia, ambassador 5500c. Definitely not like the new ones. It’s not made in china you’re not going to find a bunch of plastic junk in this reel.

This reel will last you and last you and last you a long time as long as you take good care of it long as you maintenance it will it and don’t beat it up too bad. I’ve been pretty rough on it over the years, though I will say, I’m not uh, I’m not super easy on on equipment. I definitely take it to its limits sometimes, but this one has been an awesome reel glad I glad I picked this one up.

This is another flea market find, I think I gave 35 for this at a flea market, so keep an eye on them, swap meets flea markets, real estate auctions, stuff, like that. That’s where I find all this stuff at and pick it up for for a little and nothing really, and I put them in my collection if you like, seeing old, reels and stuff like that, make sure you subscribe, because I’ve got a ton of these things I’ll be bringing to the table here and kind of showing you not all.

Hey guys, ugly, stick gx2 rod made by shakespeare and the Ambassador SX serious, around big s, wheels and we’ll start off start off with the rod and the rod is a 7-foot, medium action and as follows that cord grips and I really think the call you can catch bat anything bigger than bass. With this rod and the reel, it saw me about GU car Co, diem ambassador, and it has a bent bent, handle Ben star to get your hand close to the wheel and what I also like, but it’s real one is when you push the button, this hot the moves with it that moves with it.

So you have big fish, that’s running it’ll, it’ll move, so it’ll be less less straining into your line, and this one. This real series does not come with a bait clicker only 6600 sizes 5600 size. It comes instead of the standard. Push push button right here. Like the Ambassador s series there is the regular low-profile push button and the gear ratio on this is a 5 3, 2 1 right there, 5, 3, 2, 1 and yeah. We showing you how to cast this. A standard it pretty much goes with any big cast wheel in casting Ireland get over here and what you do on a big open field.

I have this big yard, so I have a kind of an advantage and just use any lure. That is weedless. It’s just we this frog and what you do. First, with this you first, you tighten usually just tighten each bolt tension on all the way, and then you click the button. You click it and you’ll see it doesn’t move because nice, full tendon, is way too high. So what you do you have it? You have your button still clicked and you slowly loosen the knob slowly loosen it until your lure just starts to fall like that.

Sorry before so, that’s it good. What you do. There are many different ways you can cast and my pretty much standard one is you grab the base? You grab your reel. You push down, have your thumb still on the reel and you feather the line as you go, because if you don’t do that, there’s a great chance you’re going to backlash so and then you can select that it pulls that and there’s other ways you can cast. You can do one handed cast just a simple same thing. It won’t go far, but you still a disappear kind of just doing a quick short cast.

It’s great, you can do the overhead cast it’s pretty much the same thing pretty much over your head, like that. It goes a little farther might be. The farthest way to cast might be the most simple – and those are those are my three favorite ways to cast a cancer.
