My friends it's tak backwoods so a little bit different today a pair of pants here. Now let's in search of. Some good pants for like CCW stuff like. And of course 5:11 pops right up there. When you're looking for good tactical pants. Now you're pretty darn expensive. Igotta say that 50 bucks for a pair of pants. Iknow that's the going rate. It is but being an old-timer 50 bucks is a lot of money for some betas but. Ithought I'd try a couple. Ibought like five pairs. Some different colors. You know they got tan. This is coyote brown olive drab black navy blue there's a couple different kinds of color options so here's a just. One pair of pants these just so. You can see the pockets a little bit better instead of using the black I'm used to mainly wearing like BDUs. And stuff like that I'm out doing stuff but. Igotta say these seem to be a lot higher quality. Than standard be to use. These are the rip stop material. You can see that sorry about. That see here let me turn on. This leg maybe this leg will have about a little bit sorry about.
That there I actually can see the little squares the ripstop. This is a mix of 65 polyester. And 35 percent cotton open. These up for you these don't have the little tie-downs on the bottom which. Ilike not having them. Ishould say I hate them freaking bangs. They get frayed after a. And they're shitty so. It without them just a regular open style I'll go over. Some specs on. This the pants weigh 6 ounces which is really light. These are the attack light Pro pants. Ishould have said that at first sorry about. That but using the title it's got a lot of different pockets here's the back. Now it's good double reinforced sections the buck. And the knees are double reinforced just to give. You a little bit added strength.
Everything is triple step here's the back pockets I'm not a huge fan of these pockets they're slanted which makes them easy to get into. They got velcro on him. They also have these little reinforced spots. You want to put on a pocket knife in your back pockets. Both sides as you can see so yeah not a huge fan of the back pockets, but they're still pretty good. All the belt loops are very easy see. They got lots of stitching on them nice and big strong so. If you're carrying a pistol on your belt. It helps hold the weight elastic waistbands to help but just so. If you're had it in the waistband. You carry in the waistband at. All give that extra bit of room there's a little strap right here not sure. What this is this for a buddy to grab. And pull you out of the way. It might be I'm not sure. What that's for actually but cool nonetheless it's got the side cargo pockets right here. They are held close with. Some velcro which I like the velcro better.
Than the buttons are paying the buck especially. When you're fumbling with them your hands are a little cold. It makes it kind of tough. Now they're not very deep but that's okay. You got too much weight down low. And you're running it likes to flop around the bed here's the front of the pants does have a zipper with just a snap. It does have a button on the inside just to make sure. It stays closed you got your regular standard pockets right here. And they're very deep actually they're really deep. They go down about there it's got. This little pocket right here which is nice slap your off folder in there but again on the front of the pockets. They have that extra so. You can put your pocket knife right there so the pocket clips don't tear.
It up much another pocket here. This one's velcro this one's decent-sized too. You put your cell phone in their multi-tool flashlight. Whatever you want to do. It also has a little d-ring right here metal d-ring so. You can clip some stuff to. It the crotch is gusseted which is cool. Ifirst seen this stuff like on ninja suits. And to give that extra bit of room. When you're doing high kicks climbing whatever so that's nice. Some added movement right there so overall. These things are pretty freakin mice are. They worth 50 bucks. Now I'm gonna show you an alternative to. These not in this vid but I'll do. Another video on another pair of pants. That are kind of comparable. Iwould say they're not as high quality as. These but they're literally half the price but.
You got the loot to spend. Iwould say they are worth the 50 bucks. Now I'm not gonna wear. These working or something like. That get greases all over them. Because they're too frickin expensive but for doing you know your everyday stuff. You know when you're not at work doing dirty we're out mowing the lawn. These a lot I love them a bunch so yeah. Iwould recommend them for the 50 bucks. You got the money to spare as always appreciate. You guys stopping by. And to thick's time.

This is a survival situation yeah. This is a survival suit wait am. What I'm saying yeah is. This a survival situation justice. This is possible this could turn into a survival situation but. We are in damp conditions. And very damp pretty damn my socks are cold. And wet your socks yeah my friend didn't wear boots so guess. What happens when it's wet outside are. You walk through fields don't know but wet cold damp conditions. Idecide to wear a nice lovely jacket. Ihave the 511 tactical. This is the chameleon soft shell jacket. It comes in it has the coyote tan version. They might have the all-black. This is the OD green as. You can tell it's got no degree under the kind of like the black layer. This is the first soft shell I've ever owned honestly. Ineeded something. That would stand up good against the elements the wind the rain the cold. This I've been wearing for a. Few weeks now it's been raining a. While well me my buddy have been out here it's been great I've stayed dry I've stayed warm. Ibrought the information with. It I'm just gonna some of the features. All the pockets are zippered which is pretty awesome so. You can put like I have my phone in there it's not gonna fall out so. Both front pockets are zippered. It has a zippered front here. It has a big zipper in the back.
They were saying on the information it's like a pullout ID panel. Imean probably the idea my friend suggested is. You could probably so. You know ID patch on here. And then there's the. One in the back and then like I've shown the zippered pockets on the outside there are. Some pockets on the inside there's a larger. One with Velcro and then there's two smaller ones. You can just maybe you could slide maybe a phone. Or their small material in there that's. What the inside of it looks like mesh material kind of like. And then has the outer. It doesn't come up with. These Sons of Anarchy shirt yeah the shirt comes separately but. It does go well with the jacket yeah. Ireally like this longer like tail back here so.
If you're carrying a canvas sidearm which. It helps conceal and then. You sit down it's still gonna be concealed. It protects like your back. And kind of you sit down against abrasions. And rubbing on things. Or whatnot so overall awesome jacket. Ithink it's going for anywhere between 100 and 150. You can kind of get. It for like this is my first soft shell it's been a good experience. Ireally like I love 511 tactical gear I'm wearing some of their boots right. Now they've stayed I haven't. Ihave a warm out on it's wet. That much today's been pretty good a little damp a little yeah just a little nice dances well here are just a. Few things I was not able to show on camera. Ihad missed there's the 5-11 tag right there. This jacket is in size large. It has a little like a little carrying strap.
Or hanger strap on there it's a little orange 511 moving down the left arm there is a nother there's a shoulder pocket it's kind of hard to kind of hard to see from a distance. It really blends into. That the shoulder it just is simple just zip there are two breast pockets actually there's. This is the right side. And it's zippered there's. One on the left both have. These pullout ID panel sort of deals. And moving on down to the bottom of the jacket in the front left pocket there's like a little key a key cinch. Ican get it out lets's see. It looks just like you can hook. Anything sort of small it's basically like a little mini. Iwould say I would say key lanyard. And easily design key chain so maybe. You can lash this down.
You didn't have your pocket zipped open them. Someone were to reach in your pocket. Or try grabbing things such as your such as your keys. You didn't like pocket open. And maybe you know. You fell and your key your keys would go flying away. You wouldn't lose them. And then lastly kind of moving down to the bottom of the jacket there's just like. This bungee cinch that runs out. All along the base of the jacket so. You can kind of cinch. That up like kinda like. Most outdoorsy jackets like Colombian jackets do. And then it has like a little slider on here. You so desire to kind of tighten. That up so you know so the wind. And the elements won't get up under your jacket 511 is a stand-up company. It seems like they make standout products so there's pretty much talked about on.
That thank you for watching I appreciate your time thank. You thank you for yeah I'm gonna leave. It on awkwardly for another second okay.
