Hey what’s up guys Jacoby from Jacobi’s journeys comm. And today we’re taking a look at the sea2summit insect shield head net so. This is a great product. That see the summit puts out I’ve been using this for several years. Now on all my trips abroad. And you can see it’s a really small little bag. It fits in the palm of your hand. And it’s a really nice. Even the bag itself is actually pretty nice so taking it out of the little pouch itself. And you know it’s a pretty typical mosquito head net. This is actually a pretty good sized net. And around the base of. It you’ve got a little fastener. That you can tighten. It you know to keep. It nice and tight around your neck to keep bugs from getting up. And inside because of the wide size. You can see you can put. It over different types of hats from like a baseball cap style hat to a round maybe like a cowboy style hat. Or safari hat that will do the job to keep the bugs out of your face it’s a great product to have. When you are out in the jungle. Or somewhere where there’s going to be lots of mosquitoes so it’s. One of those simple items. That it’s small but. It really can make a difference. When you have this with. You versus not having it. And it’s so small that it’s easy just to keep.

Yeah hello this is a product review for the Marmot shuttles sleeping bag. This is for the zero Degree regular-size so. This is the size all packed up the sleeping bag is 49 pounds. And it’s some type of X so let’s unravel. This is the orange color. It at REI for about. One hundred and forty dollars. It is a mummy configuration. And we’ll call my eyes. That is probably in the cheapest Marmot product. Or NOAA super saw as. You can see it has an extra zipper right here applied so like your keys. Anything else important evaluable. Ithrow like some chapstick. Something there some snack yeah so fun really impressed really nice and soft. It has zippers at the bottom. You got to be zippered. It up front so let’s just do a quick lay inside of. It so jump in I am about 510 511. And there’re a fits me perfectly. Ifeel like there’s about three into the West. And there are zippers on the inside as well which look really nice yeah I’m already sweating it yeah so far I’m really impressed oh. We meet hopefully you can hear. Iyeah the speaking bag is definitely pretty warm. And there’s drawstring right here too so. You can adjust how tight. It is at the neck area yeah overall I’m really impressed by the sleeping bag I’m literally starting to swim right.

Now yeah let me get out of. This real quick ooh definitely impressed. It also has this chart to show the actual test the overall. This sleeping bag is super plush very comfortable. It seems like using a sleeping pad would be a huge bonus but here is a close-up to the material. Iwant to get synthetic. It seems like down stroke sleeping bags obviously twice on how. Many on the quality of the down fabric so. Iwas really limited. Iwanted to pay I was willing to pay up to two hundred twenty dollars for a sleeping bag but. This praying they still had. It in stock and there’s also a drawstring here too for the hood area so. You can tie in the middle ends of the top of the street. And back so let’s just pack. It up real quick let’s head over in a camping scenario. And there you go compared to. Many other squeezing bag packing into the dry sack. That was fairly easy just as. These straps on the side too. They have a ladies and gentlemen from REI $140 Marmot degrees Fahrenheit make sure.

You go check if you’re looking for a budget mountaineering winter. Or backpacking tent. Imean sleeping bag I’m in Alaska so. Something that is definitely at least 0 to 10 degrees preferably zero degrees risking your life out there so get. Something you trust. Idefinitely can trust in moments.

The Marmot Trestles 30 Degree Sleeping Bag is the perfect balance of price. And performance You have got technical features here. That make it great to take into the backcoun-try to take camping but. It also comes in at a budget friendly price because of. That synthetic insulation The insulation Marmot is using is their propriety spyrafill synthetic which is meant to mimic the structure of down Synthetic materials are great. Because they hold up really well in wet. Or damp conditions So. If you are in an area. That is really humid the bag is going to take on a little bit of moisture. And synthetic materials really resist. That moisture If they do become wet. They dry out really quickly So. You have got really good performance there And synthetic materials in general are just a little less expensive So. It is a really budget friendly price One thing. That I really love about the Trestle sleeping bags is. That you have got a full length zipper on. One side That is a double zipper So. You can unzip it from the bottom to vent at night But. They have also got kind of halfway zipper on the other side So. If you are going to be in different conditions. You can definitely vent. This sleeping bag really well So the top of. This kind of folds down almost like a blanket If. You are a side sleeper. And you like to pull the blanket. Or the sleeping bag around. You that makes it really nice for. That It feels more like a blanket at home So. You know it is a really nice feature It is a small detail but. It makes a big difference They have got draft tubes behind those zippers so.

You are not going to have unwanted cold air coming in through there is. Even a little bit of a. More durable material sewn behind. That zipper to prevent on snags While. Ihave this open I want to show there is a little stash pocket on the inside So. You have a small zippered pocket for small items. That you want to get your hands on at night This is a traditional mummy style sleeping bag so. You have a hood at the top The hood is nicely baffled so. You have some shaping here And. Because you have that flap on the front of the bag. That comes down they have a nice system for being able to cinch down the bottom So around your neck. You can really hold. That heat in And then. You have a draw cord on the top as well So. That kind of pulls the top in So. If you need to batten. Everything down and really use the full warmth of. This sleeping bag you can pull those in The shoulder girth here is actually pretty wide for a mummy style sleeping bag So.

You do have some pretty good sprawling room You are not going to feel super claustrophobic in. This bag You know I have seen other mummy style sleeping bags. That are really tight And. This one is a little bit looser It does taper in then down to the feet And the foot box. They definitely give. You enough room in the foot box So. You have got shaping there as well So. It is a trapezoidal foot box And overall. That mummy style is going to give. You more thermal efficiency but with the Trestles bags there are a little roomier. Than some others The shell material is a polyester taffeta On the outside. You have a durable water repellent finish So.

If you do get some condensation in the tent. Or just against moisture in general. That material on the outside is going to help to keep moisture out And then in the inside. You have a softer material So. That is a little softer on the skin This bag does come in different sizes So definitely take a look at the sizes to see. What is going to be. Most comfortable for you And. These temperature rating here are 30 degrees Marmot does use EN ratings for their sleeping bags so the comfort rating is actually closer to about 33 degrees. And then the lower limit rating is below. That So take that into consideration before taking it into the back country at the different temperatures One bonus to. This sleeping bag is. That Marmot includes a compression stuff sack So with.

That synthetic material. It doesn’t pack down to be as small as. Some down sleeping bags but. They have done a great job here with adding these compression straps on to the stuff sack So. All you have to do is stuff. It into the bag compress. It down and that saves a lot of space inside of your backpack So instead of having to go out. And buy yet another stuff sack for this sleeping bag. It definitely comes with. It With all the features. You get here you have just got a really great performance budget friendly sleeping bag for the back country It is the Marmot Trestles 30 Degree Sleeping Bag.

Hi youtube today we’re doing a review on the Marmot trestle zero degree sleeping bag synthetic fill as. You can see this is the only time you’re going to see. It the packaging because it’s actually pretty difficult to get in. And out but a little Marmot tag your cinch in the knees tighten down around. It compresses more like so. If you’re going to undo. It just going to pull. These up get it out pulls. These off open and cinch. Whenever I pack my bags. Ijust stuffed them in their anyway. They go in I really don’t roll them. Anything another word of wisdom. Iwould not keep your sleeping bag in your stuff sack for any extended period of time. Ionly use it to transfer. Iknow buddy of mine left his in his sack for probably three. Or four months that damn thing sucks. Imean it’s so scroungy. And that’s what did. Ifroze the depth so. Idefinitely keep your sleeping bag hung like you’re supposed to that’s. How long and I’ll show. You a whole array of features. We got two cinches here up on the top. And pull them like that to Center on your face. And then around your mouth like so. It has a full length zipper side on my left side. Because I’m right-handed. Ilike to reach over to do. It just gives more disparity. And on the opposite side on the right side.

It has a small zipper here. Ithink just to aid. And getting out in and out of the bag yeah so totally open that’s. What it looks like it has a gray interior. It has a trapezoidal foot box so. When your feet sit here. You can the natural curvature here. They can come out it’s not like a tight. You know good comfortable down there. And Marmot with their new technology. They put certain amounts of feel in different areas. Where they’ve found cold spots to be they’ve done studies. Everything else so that’s pretty cool I’ve never been cold in. It the coldest stuff slept out it’s probably gotten down to like 20 mid 20s. Ihaven’t really I don’t think southwestern Pennsylvania doesn’t get below zero.

It does but not very often as far as the zipper goes. Iknow a lot of these bags the zipper sticks a lot because of the material being so thin. This has a canvas lining in the zipper there so. This canvas is less likely to catch. Idon’t know you can see. That so that’s pretty cool so zips up pretty smoothly. It does catch once in a. While but it’s a lot smoother. Than a lot of bags is. That up yeah the only time. That catches that stuck in there as long as. You keep that canvas exposed. It sits right up as far as the inside goes. We have the two baffles synthetic field. They cinch they button on. Each side to keep it tight Aaron.

And of course again Emami bag get stuff seized at first. You got to get used to getting in there. And zipping yourself. All up but you get used to. You learn the features of the bag. It goes on any other side here. That cinches around on exactly. This goes without being in. And you’d pull your drawstrings tight around. And go right around your neck of their neck keep. All your air inside it’s pretty warm. We have a small stash pocket here it’s probably eight inches by five inches pretty big. That in there once in a. While but it’s pretty. Anything in there your phone. Anything that you’re going to be in severe temperatures. You wouldn’t want to get ruined. Or couldn’t withstand the temperature that’s pretty cool it’s about. They have the new Spiro fill high loft insulation so it’s mean. Even tell I got been a mound a before.

And it’s I can’t tell the difference very compressible press is real small. It expands pretty quickly so. They have the Marmot. And Signia there and the foot with their tags. You got to hang loops to hang your bag you’ve got your Marmot trestle zero the tag there is the official tag hi it’s en rated at zero degrees a comfortable sleep for a woman is negative eleven comfortable sleep for a man is like negative fifteen. Something and then I guess the survival ratings negative forty-three you’re obviously not going to be comfortable but it’ll keep. You alive until that temperature. Now getting it for you. It a lot faster whenever it’s 20 degrees out here freezing right. Now as far as the color goes. This is the only color. They make Marmot doesn’t really give a whole rant colors on their models a bags usually it’s.

Or two colors and then. Iwere going to be outside. Itighten up my baffles up. And then I can tighten. This up just laying in here. Now I’m already sweating, so I’m. All together I would say it’s a darn good bag for the price suggested retail is 135 bucks. You cannot buy the actual products off of marmots website. You have to find a dealer but. You can go online you have a big sporting good a lot of the big sporting goods stores don’t really sell Mormon in my experience. You probably get like a small like mountaineering shop. Something probably carrying but about. It thanks for watching.

Hey there camp bugs I’m patio from the house calm. This is their Marmot trestle of 15 it’s a great for season bag gets down to 15 degrees. And Marmon is known for having awesome bags. That compress well that are super lightweight but incredibly warm because of. That Spira fill so it’s spiraled insulation layers. That compress down nice and tight keeps. You warm it’s really comfy it’s really soft but like. It really gets down small so. You can pack in really lightweight really quickly it’s got an insulated mummy hood cinch. That sucker down stay warm. All night long all night strong incredibly strong. And durable bag out of Marmot check. It out at the house calm awesome price kick the tires light the fires I’m patio.

Everyone today I’m going to be doing a review on the Marmot trestles sleeping bag it’s the zero degree sleeping bag. Ipurchase it off Amazon. It was 103 dollars I got the long left zipper. They make you can attach them like a left zip. And a right zip but. Idecided to go with the long zipper just. It was cheaper um so. This is the bag out of the compression sack let. Me go ahead and show. You the compression sack. That comes with I mean it’s a decent sack but. Iactually struggled to get a lot of the bag. This thing is this thing is quite big. And quite bulky but definitely pays off here’re the tags. Iguess here you can see basically. What it’s rated to its en tested so. They do the ratings like. This yeah the buckles are it’s your average compression sack. That comes with you know sticking bag hmm let’s get to the actual sleeping bag here. It is the Marmot logo right there. You got your foot box down here. This is the long version too so. Ithink it’s six feet six inches long. And I’m only 511 so. Ihave plenty of room to spare there’s. You can see right there Marmot whistles your degrees Fahrenheit. This is basically what the head area looks like it’s pretty snug in there so it’s opening up show. What it’s like you have your draft collar right there just simple buttons just button them in to the layer. And plenty of nice cozy warm head room right there um yeah. You can see how thick.

This thing is it’s not down. Idecided not to get down. Isleep in a bivy and the water the condensation issue. And the winner would be a big problem for me so yeah it’s pretty long. Iactually tested this thing out already. Iwas in my bivy it got down the low for the night. It was 22 degrees I actually had. That unzipper I was getting way too warm. Iwas only in shorts not. Even socks on so that should just give. You give you an idea of how warm. This thing is so yeah I’ll cut. And then show what it’s like. When I’m in it alrighty well not to mention there’s also uh. They call it a stash pocket in here. You can put your cellphone. Or electronics to basically keep. It takes work to get into just like. Any mommy’s sleeping bag does try. This thing zipped up. All the way that’s the hardest part yep gonna watch out from material so obviously.

It does get snagged. Iguarantee you lay in. This thing for give it two minutes. You will be warm to the point. You are going to want to get out so that’s about. It pretties comfortable well hope. You found this review helpful. And then see too many reviews on. This sleeping bag on YouTube so. Ithought I’d do you can see my feet are right here so. Istill have this much room to spare so. Ican put boots down there. Something that’s about. It thanks for watching.

This is my review of the climate ksb 20 degree down bag. It just came out in the last couple of months. Igotta say I really love. This bag it comes in. One size I know of comes in red. Or black let’s see so the zipper is gonna be on the sleepers right-hand side. And it’s got two-sided zippers here. Ijust put a little para cord on their little glow-in-the-dark para cord which works pretty well. Ijust got back from a camping trip. That actually worked pretty well-loved the bag it’s May 29th 2016 went up in the mountains there were still snow the thermometer on my bags as. It got down somewhere into the high 30s at night so pretty cold. They were still snow on the ground see there’s a drawstring here. You cinch that it’s gonna cinch the hood. This so essentially. This will get really small around your face it’s got the collar here. You can see and it’s got a little stash pocket also right there. And that’s I put the stuff sack for this so. Idon’t lose it just can. It around there so the hood on. This is super cushy. This thing I’ve got.

Some other bags that are pretty thin on the hood. One feels amazing its super fluffy. You can almost use it as a pillow but. Iwouldn’t really recommend. That you’ve got these two little kind of the kind of seem like hanger hooks, but they’re not really big. They might kind of work for. Idon’t know that was really. They were really designed for. It does have hanger hooks down here at the bottom so. You can hang it to store. It so see it does come with. This thing has got tons. And tons of loft love. It was probably the. Most well definitely the. Most comfortable bag I’ve ever slept in let’s see so climates got. This thing called stretch baffles. And that’s that’s what these are. They they stretch out. That does is it makes. You don’t have a bunch of dead air space. That your body has to warm up it’s a nice and efficient I’ve heard. Some reviews be concerned. It might be somewhat restrictive but. Iwouldn’t say it’s restrictive at.

All it’s actually really nice and it’s got an organic. And intuitive feel to. What their inside kind of looks like. This thing got Outdoor Magazine gear of the Year award. This year lets’s see it’s also available let’s see the zipper on here is three-quarter zip so. You can see there’s the foot box right over there. And here’s the end of the zipper right there so all-in-all. Iam really impressed with. This bag everything about. This bag is super inviting really comfortable I’d have to say comfortable to the point of luxury is just the softest thing ever. Ihad a chance actually get the the other climb bag the predecessor. Iwent to the factory store. And had a chance to get the predecessor to. One at a highly discounted rate but. Iclimbed into I actually had to have. Ispent the extra money on. And I’m glad this thing feels like climbing into a cloud feels like sleeping in a warm marshmallow which might sound kind of funny but that’s just exactly.

What I felt I got into. It so anyway well that’s my review on the climate ksb 20 degree down bag.

Dr Bedsore doing reviews with Lenten outdoors. Ijust spent three days. And nights out in the back country on archery out time. Ihad the opportunity to use the climate ksb 20 sleeping bags the climate ksb 20 is rated at 20 degrees it’s filled with 550 down. It comes in at 25 9 pounds it’s a mummy shaped sleeping bag measuring at eighty-four point five by thirty. One point five by twenty. One point seven it’s made of lightweight breathable fabrics as a neck collar to minimize heat loss. It includes a large mesh storage sack but. When you’re just keeping it. Any off season I was definitely impressed with the sleeping bag from the start on how compacted they’d get into my compression sack. How lightweight I pulled. It out the first thing I noticed was is the elastic seams through the entire body. Iwas able to roll over switch sides move around stretch my legs out so. Iwas super impressed with. It allowed me to get a good night’s rest. Even tested this bag out to the degree of how cold. Because they’d gotten on at 28 degrees. One night on my hunt. Iwas able to suck in. This collar around my shoulders bring the hood up over my head. And I’m still able to get. Some rest at that kind of temperatures for all. You back country hunters to purchase.
