You hey Happy New Year. And welcome to Gary’s outdoor news. And reviews today’s product spotlight is going to be on the new z-man TRD hogs HL GZ. This is a 3-inch compact profile creature bait. You get 6 per package. And made for either fresh. Or saltwater it’s also made of the famous elastic. That z-man products are known for and. This is a very buoyant lure plastic finesse plastic to use it’s also teamed up here with the new Ned locks Ned rig jig heads the hook is small but it’s a very heavy-duty hook for when you’re hooking up with bigger fish. All know how popular the common metric is with pike bass. Even pan fish and such but. One it’s going to really kind of cool in. That the arms are very sensitive to movement. And will attract bass. And other predator fish. It kind of has that crayfish stance like it’s in a defensive stance. Now the ribs on the body. You can kind of see those there I’ll create.

More of a buoyancy for the actual plastic along with the ned rig jig head. They you’ll see you can see right there. You know one second so. This hits the bottom it’s going to stand up. And take that defensive pose. That bass will go after. Now the color you see here is green pumpkin there’s also black with blue specs. We also have the deal color which appears to be. More of a clear with a multi speckle inside of. It there’s not too much. More about you really need to know except. If you’re interested. They are available in the stores. And have been since. Icast which was back in July so head to your local z-man store. And pick up some of these for the spring also note there are 16.

Newer products in the z-man line so. You might want to stick around. What else is available hopefully. Ican get and we’ll do. More product spotlights on those in the meantime thank. You for watching I look forward to your constructive comments. You have a great day god bless. You can catch us on Facebook forward slash Gary’s outdoor news. Want to talk about one of my favorite large mouth lures. And we’ll get into that here in a second but first. Iwant to speak a little bit about an app called fish brain. And fish brain is a fishing app. And here’s a quick message on fish brain right so let’s click on the fish brain app real quick it’s kind of like an Instagram for fishing like here’s a picture of a large mouth bass caught by Roland Martin. All probably know who Roland Martin is he’s a pro fisherman. He talks about like. What he used to catch. Ijust gave it a thumbs up. It looks like it has 556 likes so there’s a lot of fishermen out there. That use this app already as. You can tell and then. We click over here he caught. It on a big easy swim bait. Even shows the different colors of Big Easy swim baits. You can get it’s really neat. You can come on here. You can post your picture. You can put you caught the fish let’s go to my profile real quick so. Iposted the picture of. Iput the exact location. Icaught the fish you can see. That as well you get on fish brain. And download the app again. You can see I caught. That fish what I called. It on which is just a really cool thing you can look at my gear. And the things you can select baits rods reels lure line terminal tackle extras.

Ijust haven’t added. Anything yet it’s a really neat app. Ithink it’s cool because it’s like an Instagram but for fishing thank. You to fish brain for sponsoring this video. Ithink it’s a really cool app. And it’s a great way for fishermen to connect with. Another again the link to download. That app will be down in the description below please download. It through that link. And then follow me on fish brain as well anyway let’s get right to. It today I’m gonna be talking about the brush hog the zoom brush hog. This is actually the bait. Iwas using in my last video. And the last four to video. This is actually a watermelon orange brush hog. And it’s the baby version so it’s not the full size brush hog gets the smaller. One it’s called the baby brush hog that’s the size. Iprefer never really use the big brush hogs but the baby brush hog seems to work very well the reason why I like. This size is just I feel like it’s. More compact and small.

When you’re fishing around cover it’s also probably gonna catch. More fish it still gets just as big of a bite as. Imade as a regular brush hog would the reason why I was using the watermelon orange color in the last video is. That Florida water it has like a tea color to. You don’t want something like a black. And blue really you kind of just want. Something that has a little bit of flake in. Or bright flake and that’s why I was fishing. That watermelon orange so. You look at this but. You can see the specks of orange in. When it’s in the water. That orange really stands out a lot. And helps the fish see. That bait but it’s still watermelon color so. It still looks pretty natural as. You can tell those fish will munch in. Ionly have two left in. This pack I have 12 to begin with.

Ithink it’s a great pond fish. And lower but I wanted to give. Few tips about fishing and brush hogs so. Another color of brush. Ilike to finish is just a regular watermelon. You look at one it’s just watermelon color green with. Some black flake in. And that’s a little bit. More natural that watermelon orange but again it’s not gonna stand out as much in the water usually going to want to fish. This in like the more clear water. And then you have really stained water. Idon’t have any here with. You can use a black. And blue color those work well too but. Ilike to stick with the natural colors. Whenever I’m fishing with brush hogs. Ilike to just stick with natural colors in general. When I’m fishing the first kind of hook. You can use is an e WG hook. You want to use this hook. When you’re fishing around tight cover. This up on this bait it’s gonna be straight up.

And down and it’s not gonna get snagged as much. You can bury that hook back into the bank but typically for the best hook up ratio. You want to use a round Bend hook here in my hand right. Irecommend using either a 300. Or a for all size you could go up to a 5. Few so desired but I wouldn’t go. Any bigger that the reason why I use a round bin is. Because you’re gonna hook up on those fish a lot better you’re just gonna catch. More fish you could get snagged. More but I’ve found as long as. You work that bait kind of slow you’re not gonna get hung up. That much as long as. You have it rigged correctly. And I’m sure all know already but I’m just gonna quickly Texas rig. This bait with a round bin hook to show. That looks like alright guys so there. We have a pretty well rigged brush hog right there. You can tell it’s pretty weightless I’ll poke the hook out a little bit.

And then bury it back into the bait but make sure. You bury back into the bait enough to. Where it’s not gonna get hung up over the first obstruction. You go over I prefer a round bin hook like. You can use the ewg. If you’re fishing and. Some like heavy cover. Some rocks or things like. That as far as weights sometimes go I’ll use a lead weight like. One right here this is a 3/16 ounce that’s. Whenever I want to fish. It around shallow cover. And things like that but for the. Most part for the most part. Iwant a heavier weight in a tungsten weight so here’s a couple different tungsten weights. Iwould use so hard to focus right. This is a 3/8 ounce tungsten weight that’s probably my favorite size weight to use for the brush hog just. It gets to the bottom quick. You can fill the bottom well with. You can still feel the bite.

And then lastly if you’re really fishing heavy covered. If you’re like trying to flip a brush hog. Something you might. Even want to go up to a 1/2 ounce. And I’m holding a 1/2 ounce right. Idon’t know how well. All can see that but that’s a tungsten weight as well. You can buy these tungsten weights in like a green pumpkin color. This one’s kind of flaked off. You can buy them in black. Whatever you can paint them yourself. Ireally like tungsten. You can feel the bottom really well with. It comes to the lighter weights. Ijust go ahead and buy the lead save yourself. Some money you’re gonna be able to feel those bites just as well with a LED light. When you’re fishing with a really lightweight so. Idon’t really need a tungsten weight. If I’m fishing really like Texas rig lastly. Iwanted to talk about the rod. This is my jig rod right here it’s got a Abu Garcia Revo S which is seven point three to.

One gear ratio real fast real. You want a fast reel. Whenever you’re dragging baits. You want to be able to pick up slack really fast. This real paired on a seven for heavy 13 fish in fake black rod it’s a sweet rod. This rod I think it’s a great jig rod but. What I would call my jig fish. And setup avoid you’re gonna right. Now a black and blue jig as. You can tell but it has twenty pound fluorocarbon on. And that’s probably my line of choice for fish. And jigs and also my line of choice for fishing like a heavier Texas rig. This is the combo I was fishing. That brush hog on in the last video just. Iwas in Florida I really wanted to fish with heavy gear. Ihooked into a big fish. Iwould be ready for it. Ifelt comfortable using this so that’s.

That but normally I would be fishing. That bait on a seven-foot medium heavy rod. This is actually the top water rod I’m not gonna really go into. That but I would fish. It on a rod like this a 7-foot medium heavy rod just. Because like in Virginia. We don’t have as big bass. We don’t have thick grass. We don’t have the cover. They do down in Florida so a lighter rod will suit. You just fine and then. Ihave braid on this rod but don’t mind. You still want your fast gear ratio reel 7 to 1. Or higher is what I recommend. And then I would put about 15 pound fluorocarbon on. It normally I don’t have a rod here with. That set up right now at college so that’s.

Everything about brush hogs that’s my tips for you. You apply those things you’ll catch. More fish that’s just. What I found out from fishing the bait myself trying things out like. That baby brush hog size. Ilike to use a 3/8 ounce tungsten weight. Ilike to use about a 7-foot medium heavy rod with 15 pound fluorocarbon. And a fast gear ratio reel. And lastly I like to stick to those natural colored lures before. This video please check the link down below. You haven’t picked one of these up already. Ihighly recommend it’s just to take. Someone fishing t-shirt it’s kind of like my doom March but it’s. That we’re trying to promote the sport of fishing we’re trying to get. More people in the water. Ifeel like this is a great way to do. It so checks out that link down below. And check out one of these t-shirts.

And pick one up for yourself they’re really comfortable. And nice t-shirts and I’ve put a lot of work into them. And then another link in the description. You can check out the take. Someone fishing Facebook group. And that’s awesome Facebook group. You can connect with other anglers. And has like the same logo on. It just search Facebook for take. Someone fishing or click the link down below like. And that’s a great way to connect with other anglers to talk about fishing debate fishing do. Whatever you want that’s. Ihave for this video. You guys enjoyed watching and as always go take. Someone fishing

So guys God speed again. Iwanted to take a quick second. And show you my favorite jig trailer. Iwas fishing with the gentleman yesterday. We got the talking briefly about jig trailers. What was his favorite. What was my favorite. And maybe I have kind of an unusual. Idon’t know most people think of the baby brush hog as a. You know creature bait obviously. It works great on like shaky head tons. And tons and tons of other uses but mine is the baby brush hog but. Idon’t use the baby brush hog straight out of the package. And that’s what I’m going to show. You today I’ve been extremely successful with. This jig trailer and the reason. Ilike zoom products in particular. Ilike the baby brush hog so much is the versatility of. All for what 399 I’m getting 12 of these. Ican use them as you know standalone creature baits. Ican use them as jig trailers. Ican use them in a ton of different scenarios but I’m not paying a lot for them as opposed to say like the Missal baits the baby d-bomb. Some of these other ones. You get seven of the baby Dee bombs so. Ijust kind of wanted to show. Imodify that like. Isaid I’ve been very successful with. It false come up jigs season is upon. Ijust kind of want to show. Igo ahead that so stay tuned guys. You enjoyed the video. All right guys so here. We got two baby brush hogs. We have a 3/8 ounce dirty jig. This is a pitching jig in spray grass color followed by my favorite trailer that’s a baby brush hog so.

This is kind of the package as it’s been modified but I’m going to go over kind of what it takes to make. It looks like and I’ll show. You in the kind of the completed form so the very first thing you’re going to do is you’re going to trim the flaps on the sides okay. And you’re going to cut those pretty much. All the way back until. You hit the kind of the middle long plastic here. What that’s going to do is. It actually hits the rock. It hits the dirt all right. This will not open up say like a baby brush hog will. And basically flop over here. And there the plastics too thick but. What I like about it is you’ll see. Itry to get you a shot in the sink in my shop sink. They will kind of open up. And kind of vibrate kind of like a craw which. Ireally really like so you’re going to trim those basically. All the way back to the middle plastic.

You want a little bit. More subtle you don’t want. It open up quite as much. You could trim and just don’t give it as much play but. Ilike to really open them up as much as possible. And get those arms and legs flailing when. It actually impacts the hard surface so the first thing you’re going to do like. Isaid is trim right down. This middle seam okay then. What you’re going to do is. You have choices it comes to. These front appendages. Either take the rounded portion. And just snip off the top of. You could cut right along the inside so. You can cut basically right here. All right that you’ll leave the arm kind of flailing one thing you need to keep in mind. That is the fact that the jig skirt will actually get in the way of.

That action it will twirl. Iwill do I have like a finesse jig. Something like it doesn’t have a lot of strands. Iwill trim it real close to get. That additional action. It really won’t get in the way too much but. If you’re running like a full skirt like. Even think this has been trimmed. That much but if you’re running like a full skirt. You leave these appendages. This skirt will get in the way of the action a little bit so keep. That in mind guys what I do which. Idid on one for demonstration sake is. Iwent ahead and just trimmed the appendages they’re just straight across. Ijust cut the top of. It off as close as this kind of leaves little flappy arms out here.

That vibrate is pretty nice it’s very similar to a thicker version. This is the Jean LaRue biffle bog. This is a small version. That three and a half inch. You can see it kind of gives obviously a much thicker version of. It kind of gives the same type of profile so that’s. What I do as far as appendages. Most of the time on my full-skirted jigs again. Ihave a finesse jig. Imight very well just cut. One small snip on this back part of the appendage. And then I’ll leave. That arm will flail as. It goes through the water so that’s. That as far as length is concerned. This depends on the jig. That you’re using but. What I like to do is. Because a baby brush hog is rounded on the end. Iwill just snip the very rounded tip of. And that’ll give me a good flush surface so. When it’s actually sitting against the jig it’ll have a good flush sort of profile okay so it’ll it’ll really fit up their good.

One thing you need to keep in mind is especially on. This is a and a half ounce dirty Jegs punching jig but. One thing you need to keep in mind is a baby brush hog was not intended as a jig trailer originally it’s obviously a creature bait so the actual trailer keeper that’s on the back of. It will actually pierce through the baby brush hog a little bit sometimes but. It works extremely well soon plastic is proven. You won’t have any problem getting it on again. This is a and a half ounce punching jig so. You can get these on. Some of the biggest jigs on the market not have. Any sort of problem so that’s pretty much. It as far as modifications are concerned as far as. What I do and I’m going to show. What it looks like in the water. And show that the action in my opinion is superior to.

Some of your other options. Some of your other creature baits. Idon’t have any cross sitting here with. Me but compared to like the little baby brush hog. Some of these other ones so. Or the baby d-bomb I should say so. One thing I really do like. Ishould mention the the brush hog is the swimming action. You have when it’s actually swimming through the water. These little tail appendages here kind of twirl in the water it’s going to be for me to demonstrate in the video but. Ireally like the action swimming and. Ilike the action it impacts actually on the ground better. Some of these other options. And so anyway that’s. And I’m going to show. That looks like right here in a second stay tuned you.

Hi this is fish and gamer doing a review of bass pro shops tournament series keygen critter the cajun critter is great bait. They love it a lot it’s primarily really geared towards crappy with excess with a pan fish like Sony’s. And bluegill the packaging indicates. That it is two inches long just shy. That when it’s when it’s retracted but. When the tail extended it’s about two inches so it’s pretty much spot on with. That there are 14 in the pack overall the pricing is great. If this thing is a great value for the money. You really get a lot of bang for your buck. And it’s highly recommended we’re gonna give it a 5 out of 5 that’s our review thanks right.

Hey guys Tony with get outdoors marketing here talking striking lures today. Iwant to show you my favorite lure for this time of the year. This time meaning water temps eighty degrees water the grass is growing good the bass have moved kind of the outside edge. And they’re there schooled up. We go in deep with the rage structure bug. We extract them out with. That with this system, so I’ve got a heavy flipping stick 65 pound braid with 25 pound fluorocarbon leader heavy hack-attack hook tungsten weight rage bug hook weedless. We just flip and work. Or on the grass until. We get a bass to stomp on. Iwant to show this rage bug. All the different you know. All those different groups. All serve a purpose on their. This body here with those rings. And grooves in there. That moves a lot of water. When you’re pumping it. And jigging it through the water. These craw tails have a flange on. They are moving water so. This whole time there’s.

This bait is giving up a lot of vibration a lot of flash just has a lot of things going on in the water it’s also coffee scented so. That is a great scent bass love. That scent I grab hunt grab a hold of. And don’t let go several colors. And we’re actually gonna make. It in a larger size coming out real soon it’ll be in a four. And a half inch size, so we’re excited about. Another way you can fish. This bait is on our structure head so. This you’ll see has got a free-floating kind of floats around on the end of the hook there so. It gives the bait a lot. More action you also notice. That it’s pointed that helps.

When you’re got it down there. And you’re dragging it so as you’re dragging it’s not so apt to get caught in the rocks. And things like you can see here I’ve got. It rigged with a with the structure bug on. It great little presentation. Because a lot of times you’re going down the weed line you’re kind of just slipping the edge. What I do with and pitch. It in 15 20 feet into the weed line let. It hit the bottom then just slowly drag. It out so it gives. It a completely different look in. Where you’ve got more of a vertical presentation. Idon’t do I don’t do well on their Lakes isn’t water Lakes. Iit’s Wisconsin yep. How to fish the murky water. We have here and the clear water lakes it’s just it’s. Something I don’t do often. It turns into very bad day for me so well there’s only. One way to learn trial. And error yeah well. You don’t put a little. You don’t go to those lakes enough makes. It very hard to learn that’s the problem. That is the very true so. We come out to this lake again. Iwas out here with my cousin yesterday. We did horrible fished eight hours. Igot bit off twice. He caught the only fish. And it’s like a 14-inch small off at like 10 minutes before the end of the trip so yesterday was horrible today we’re gonna try to redeem ourselves the camera might go in the waterproof case we’ve got. Some little bit of drizzle. And must I don’t wanna take a chance with the GoPros. This camera so stay tuned for this adventure make sure to LIKE comment. Ican see em I watched him eat. Igot oh he’s a nicer. This is way better than yesterday come here he’s better yeah. These colors that gold oh. You just why are you biting me ya ain’t like really a squeaker he’s not bad. That was exciting hope they’re chasing it got. Imean there’re squeakers but they’re fun they’re not really. Even that’s squeakers is about the same size as the other. One no I’ll say though they’re small they’re just fun. One yeah bud/s further up. That way it kind of hops along otherwise. You might spook him oh did. Isaw him eat I saw him eat. That was so cool there’s a squeaker. This is so much fun. Isaw was a blur it was gone no speakers but.

These guys are fun that was so cool. Even care these fish are tiny they’re just so much fun Dino. They are but here’s the thing there in the sand but. They eat a crayfish okay crayfish usually ironed in the sand. They are RG that’s a small e come here. You scared I saw my line take off okay maybe. They are sitting on the rock only a little squeaker still better. Nothing but we’ve seen big fish that’s. It Jake hooked up with his first fish didn’t end the camera recording of course that’s a nice small that’s a nicer. One would you get him on. That croc yeah that’s. All covered in crap right. Hey guys welcome back to the reviewer reviews TV. And today I’m gonna be doing a review on the sweet beavers reaction innovations beaver so. This is a sweet beaver. And watermelon well yeah. This has been 420 for 20 so yeah, so I’m going to show. You just talk about. It for a bit and show. Irigged it alright so. What the sweet beaver looks like 420 looks like as. It has a lot of black flakes in. It’s very nice color so. This fever is it’s actually. Ilike the because it’s strong it’s not not easy to rip on the fish bite on. You see it’s like it stretches pretty good so it’s pretty good for. That but oh I love flipping and pitching these throwing weeds. And throwing it in under brush piles. Or in brush piles and around trees. And anywhere like what you do is. You throw it in there. You just give it a little jiggle oh. They just like slowly like jiggle. It in the water and just pull. It a bit and it’ll look like a crawl but. What you want to do to make. It has a better performance is just rip beads a little like closet of the eye apart. And the action will be way better. When it’s in the water it’ll be it’ll perform better. And it’ll cause but. More strikes this solute has caught a lot of fish for me especially a lot of smallmouths large mouth too but.

Imean the mainly large math on these but yeah, so I’m gonna show. You a high regular what hooks are. You so the hooks are used to rig them. Ihad the kg just warm hooks. Neither in the three arts. Or four off hooks so yeah let. Me just get this out of the package. And I’ll show how to it’s really easy usually. Iwould have a weight with. It but I’m not gonna do. That today I’m not gonna show. You online I’m just gonna show. How to hook it up with the on the bait so. What you’re gonna want to do is grab your hook. And stick your hook right through the top of here just like so pull. It down to like the band I’d say. And then you’re just gonna pull. It out just like and then bring the hook Oh Barb’s sucking my finger bring the hook. Imean bring the hook. All the way through the bait until. It gets to the round part then turn the bait over. And you’re gonna want to bend the bait a bit so. You can put the hook through. This part right here.

And try to put it through the center. You can just like up slide. This back up top I usually use a different look helps being a pain for me right. You got to work with. And then usually I would just like. It should look like. It rigged up hope should be completely flat. It should be stuck in your bait leave. This make and yeah so overall out of 10 I’d rate. This baby probably give it an 8. Because overall it isn’t it’s a nice bait. Ilike the colors I the strength of the pasta it’s like pretty strong. It does catch quite a bit of fish especially in like around fall time. Or for springtime fishing I love using these so yeah that’s. This is gonna happen the video for today.

If you’d like to see. More, please like and subscribe to my channel. And leave a comment down below. If there is a review you’d like to see. All right so yeah peace.

good morning YouTube has done a damn back at. It again what’s up guys hey. Ihaven’t been out the past. Few days especially yesterday guys. You were here in Delaware you’d thought the Noah’s Ark was coming down the road man huge amounts of rain to 3 inches probably easily guys. It was absolute nonsense around here. All the roads were getting flooded. Even further downstate was out of control but uh. Ijust happened to be sitting on YouTube comatose like. Everybody else is I happened to see my buddy right over here come on over your blood. And he’s out here, and he’s catching fish as. Isaid men I think the plate might be on so. Iconversed back and forth for them. You got a nice-looking crappie got decent sized bass right off of plastics as. Isaid yo Vinnie say yo Ben cuz he’s got. That little Italian accent going on. Isaid hey can I come up here fish. He said hey come over here fish so that’s. What I’m doing guys. He lives right here on a private land right here. And gentlemen it’s got. It used to be a farm but there’s a private pond that’s right over here.

Ithought well I haven’t caught but Vincent’s caught lots. And lots of asses out here so there’s a really good. One maybe good what five six pounds easy out of here it’s not very big but it’s got. All the things you want man nice open area deep there. You can cast into lots of lay downs lots of shallow areas for fish to lay into man but today we’re gonna go back to plastics we’re not going top water today Vincent’s been having a lot of luck with his little kind of Mister Twister kind of deal going on I’m gonna push up here Vinnie. And just show what it is. All the way into the screen there. We go boom nest no not. You clown the other. They bait you head yeah sometimes. You got to coax them a little bit man name brand but here. You go he’s got uh what does. He got here he’s got the young grub just a simple little bait guys.

This guy it isn’t had a fish yeah from a hole in the ground that’s. What about Dan out here exactly but. He loves the fish because it’s a pond there why not but. He didn’t know any better but it’s biting on white baits man like little grubs so. You can catch fish on. Anything guys believe. Or not as long as you know. How to use them so Vincent you’re gonna keep. That packet me today I’m gonna go ahead. And go back to old but I’m gonna kind of use a new sweet beaver guys. You guys know the brand. We always use myself no sir. We always go with reaction innovations man we’d love. These baits right here but today. Iknow tired of different colors called haematoma it’s kind of got blue coupe.

Ilike blue cool colors on. Everything else so we’re gonna slap. That on air even slap the kinky beaver right on. All the other rod so kind of like a challenge almost but give. Me a couple seconds. Igot them all rigged up Vincent’s ready to go. And we’re gonna walk down his pond. And hopefully us slays the donkey here so give. Me a couple seconds. And walk going down there. What happens all right guys saw I’m following Vinnie. And we’re gonna head our way down to the private pond. He has allowed me to fish on. Ican literally see the fish jumping out of the water here guys so. This might be a good. One but as we got our soft plastic going I switched up. He actually took the grub off.

He actually put went with the white swim bait again by reaction innovations. And he’s gonna toss. That out there look at. These fish jumping all over the place guys. Igot a good feeling about. One today you can see. That rain just churned up the water man. And everything’s all jacked up here so give. Me a couple seconds I’m gonna drop my bag right here. And we’re gonna throw the hematoma out first. And we’re gonna see. What happens then he’s already got the swim bait out there fish going right after. It already but this right here in. This tree right here guys Vinnie’s probably get. Something over there. Because there’s a lot of fish to hang right underneath. That tree cast over there so last time. Iwas here like you about the deluge. We had yesterday it wasn’t as bad as. That but it was just as bad. And the episode was just like an epic fail but.

It rains like a heavy monsoon. We were our here we literally had to set up under Neath. These trees right over here just to stay dry. It was insane we kind of improvised. That a beach umbrella. That didn’t work so. Ihad to kill that episode but again we’re here we’re in between patches of clouds here. And again we still have a possible thunderstorm is going to come around three o’clock. Idon’t think I’m gonna be out here. That long but rain is a slight threat today oh my god sometimes. Ilove fishing with other people Mandy. It the same thing myself. You think everything else set. You go to cast you forgot the bail. This house dumb you look. You whip it doesn’t go anywhere.

And almost breaks your wrist God knows I’d do. It a million times over here guys see. If anything’s sitting underneath. That tree there’s a hit right there guys there’s a hit there. We go got one guys already nice here. You go decent size alright about two. Or three pounds guys as a couple littles nice sharp knocks man. And then it just picked off. That baton has started running with. It guys alright guys. Igot the hook out safely nice nicely decent fish probably hitting maybe almost two pounds I’m not gonna waste the time to weigh. It but again beautiful looks like. Somebody caught it before got a hook right there. You go Vince but a hematoma works man there. You go man dark beats so let’s get. This sweet little mama back in her water. And she’s gone alright, so I’m gonna make a correction to the intro. Idid guys I was just in a hurry just to get.

It go on it’s not sweet be for guys it’s actually kinky beaver is the series under-reaction innovation. Isaid the type of coloured I’m using its called hematoma. They gave me second up bait. Or rigged it up it’s black it’s black with a little bit of blue in. It so that’s kind of like almost like a blue gala color. And again how dark. That water is you want. That fish to be able to see. That bait coming through. Iwas gonna try to green pumpkin but I’m like maybe not cuz. Imight not be able to see. And that’s why I went to our local bait shop. And went to get something darker. Ididn’t have any other dark plastics but um there. One on guys let’s make. It happens its try to get. Another so what was your name again Jim so. This is a Jim right here is. This Vinny’s coworker he’s out here he’s decided to come out fishing everything too so. Whatever these guys catch we’re gonna get them up here on the episode too man like.

It is Vinnie’s pond so a guy give him props Vinnie you’re the man. And let’s see what happens man he’s still working as a little white bait over here. Idon’t know what the heck Jim’s fishing with so. Iknow is the fish like biting on his line there’s. They got to be blue gills. All popping around here so but that’s a good sign. Because the bass might chase those fish around man yeah but. That last bite if the best. It tapped. And then one long hard hit. It just took off the right-hand side that’s. Ilanded I want to land too early. And miss one right here guys. Something pulling on. It oh here we go here. We go there’s one guys.

All right as I was just reeling it in guys just to bring it in. And smashed it on the fast retrieve. Isaid look Vinnie. Igotta come up here. And teach how to fish there. Ijust don’t talk to. You there you go guys. How about I was literally real just getting ready to retrieve the baiting say. Something to Vinnie. Iwant him to toss up under. That tree and it’s fish chased. And just destroyed all right. Ican’t had a good feeling about today like. Isaid good thing for vini. Iwas being bored and sitting on the internet looking like a dummy but hey Thank You, Vincent. And she’s going to alright guys I’m gonna go over to the other side I’m gonna cast over into.

This Cove over here so give. Me a couple seconds walk around here we’re gonna leave a Vinny. And Jim to their own devices over here they’re switching up their baits yeah. This big ol hose the holes over here for my groundhogs guys. All right guys just for the heck of. It I’m just gonna flip right in here just to see. If something’s here let’s see. What happens look there. We go right there guys look at. How about that oh there. You go guys there he goes no see. That see him guys I looked right in their man nice. That counts guys wow. That bit that fish was hungry lost my bait. Everything guys I’m almost using a whole pack of a hematomas here alright guys three two misses we’re gonna walk our way around here.

Icome across and fish over in. That Cove we’re gonna pick. Something off they’re out in the open but uh. You gotta give me a chance to walk over there. And again watching out for these big old groundhog holes. That are around here. This overgrowth is absolutely insane guys it’s the only thing a downside about summer man. These cattails go absolutely crazy. And horsetails there. You go Vince’s got one guys good job Vinny that’s a catfish. Igot a catfish on the grub guys hey. All right come on Jim you’re slacking bro but uh he’s gonna pick. It up with a towel which. Most of the times I wouldn’t recommend but. Some people don’t like touching slimy catfish. Because that’s actually a protective liner. They have on them, but he’s doing I don’t always doing over there. You go he’s got the catfish. And he’s gonna nicely toss. It in thereafter he takes a picture of a upside-down catfish Hey Jim that’s. What a fish looks like to run the other way that’s. What a fish looks like Jim there goes the catfish.

And she’s gone good job Bob. Any flip over here Turtles. It could be carp sitting on the bottom rustling up the leaves. Or two catfish they sit on the bottom too probably not. Some in here that was a fish right there guys there’s a fish right here there. You go nice another pound oh. He hit the camera guys so like. Isaid guys nothing major hey Vinnie there’s a bass look like yep. And uh she’s gone but. This color guys I mean hey I’ve never tried. It before what results I’m getting I’m like. It was a crummy crappy rainy day. Everything else but. Iwas able to get four fish out of here. And Vinnie he didn’t get. Anything off of he caught.

It catfish you saw a couple of nice misses here yep so well. You got two before we came here correct. And then poor Jim do look do. This that’s what Jim’s got zero. Idon’t know how deep. Or shallow this part is guys, so I’m just gonna go for it. It but uh not too much firm ground around here y’all guys but let’s cast a crawl good Lord Almighty guys sufficient scroll again I’m just. More curious to see. If there’s anything on. This side here it actually loops around. This is like an island right here. That we’re by there’s a fish right here guys oh did. That nice yeah one over here. All right looks like. We got a little bit better angle to fish guys are gonna try to kiss right up underneath. This tree right here. This ground is very soft yes aunt oh my god guys as soon as. Iskipped up underneath. That tree there must be a little world dinky ones Oh here. We go here we go guys here.

We go here we go fish on nice small. One guy’s a little dink tell. One thing man they like. This bait I’m not gonna lie but uh I’m gonna make sure. Igot a bunch of these in my bag guys. These fish are absolutely destroying it but nice little dink guys like. That threw it up on a quick release. It up on a deer the fish ran off with. It a couple more casts. Iflipped it up underneath there again. And then she’s struck. All right guys so Jim’s wrapping up right here Vinnie’s getting ready to go. They got some other obligations. They got to take care of but I’m not gonna be able to have them in the outro. They have to go right. Now gentlemen thank. You Jim sorry about your luck bud so much done buddy big old zero bro. Any awesome ant catfish crappie. And a bass trifecta there. You go man awesome job. And give me a couple kiss guys. And we’ll be done with. These guys have an awesome day thank. You for fishing with. Iappreciate all right I’ll throw.

More casts guys rains picking up. Steadier and again. Idon’t want to ruin. This GoPro has already had. It soaked once ready. All right we’re gonna get a move on guys it’s starting to come down pretty good it’s not pouring but it’s enough so give. Me a chance to get up to the vehicle. All right guys I had to head my way back to the car there again. It rains picking up a pretty good clip. And yeah I was out here for a couple of hours is reasonably productive. Igot a couple Dinks a. Few misses and a couple of them almost close to two pounds. Iended up with a hematoma. One hematoma that is that’s. Ihave left I hold back so sweet beaver green pumpkin. Iwasn’t using today. Idecided to change up. And go to a different color. Isaid earlier in my intro again black. And blue like a bluegill. These fish were actually banging all over.

This thing man so another thing I throw in a box. You guys pick because again. These fish go crazy. All over these appendages look at a man there’s so. Many of them they flare around. It drives the fish batty geta had. All three OTT hook and think maybe a quarter ounce half ounce. Someone runner a slip sinker. Ihad on there and dads tossed around a pond. Isaw the pattern was. They were sitting tight. Even underneath structure but nonetheless the fish were pretty aggressive. They caught this thing in the review. And can’t think anymore highly of. This guy so you guys have a great weekend be safe guys it’s Labor Day weekend. You know there’s DUI check points out in Delaware I’m short.

Any other state guys. If you’re gonna drink find somebody to drive. That a sober guy do not be foolish do not be a statistic so on. That point guys you to like subscribe push. That notification bells. And as always guys fish on

Alright hey everybody so. Iwas asked to do a video review. Imean sorry a ringing video on the reaction innovation suite beavers by fishing factor 37 so. Iwill do now so the sweet beaver so there. You go check you can text. This rig them with a wide gap book simply take. This push it into the bait about half an inch pulled out there bring it around like. That then just push the bait for a bit see. Where your hooks going to go follow the bait up push. It through and then. You pull it back like. And text post that is a weightless rig. You can turn that into a Texas rig by adding just a free sliding bullet weight so that’s a Texas rig. You can peg you want. Or a regulate list like. That so that’s just a 5 out wide gap hook. Now flipping rig take a flippin hook. Once again push it through the nose like. That bring it around spin. It half-way push it up the shank onto the barb like. This then you just take your hook find where. It will go through right there push the bait back. You don’t push this through. Or the bait will ball up. What you don’t want to do is. You don’t want to do. What you do want to do is. And then just point is slightly sticking out so. When the fish bites like. This bam Hewlett so that’s a punch rig with a heavy cover flipping hook. And then you have your bullet weight. Idon’t have a punch skirt on these but you’ll usually use a punch skirt so that’s.

You can also use a small slightly smaller hook like. And with that you’ll just push. It in further like and then you’ll have to tie your line on before. Because obviously you won’t be able to tie your line to. That so see that’s just a three OTT hook. All the way back just like the five on hook so yeah. Imean that’s about. Me can also bring it on a shake head just screw. It on there and then put the bait through. It that’s the basic uses of a beaver. You can Texas rig you can wiggle rig. It weightless you can punch. You can rig it on a shaky head thanks for watching please comment like.

Alright guys the next bait we’re gonna take a peek at here is just a crawdad imitation. You know we like the reactions innovations beaver series of four 20s the three gives the double wides stick raw imitations. We also use the gulp three-inch craw it’s a mauler on the small mouth works great. This is a 4200 this is a 35. You look back at the tube section you’re gonna see split shot. And you’re gonna see Carolina you’re gonna see Texas Ragan. You can rig these exactly the same. What I want to show with the cross stuff guys is just the options to. On the guys don’t do a lot of is doing the split shot so just like. It on the tube just coming through here with the light red hook like. You got your split shot up the line aways throwing it out. And just letting her glide down okay that’s. Something a lot of guys don’t do right there no here’s. What I like to do here’s a couple things. Ilike to do with these that’s different in the late summer. We have big mats that form. And our mats are traditionally milfoil that’s broken loose it’s floated to the top it’s been blown into the shore it’s thick. You can’t seem to get. Anything through this is kind of where. Istarted messing around with. And I’ve got some smaller stuff here just to show. You would be wanting to use a bail weight 3/4 ounce 1 ounce. This is just I grabbed. That on my box was quick. And easy but it’s the same principle bail weights gonna have the hoop on. It the hoop here is the key. What you’re going to do is. This guys something it’s hard for people to think of to do mentally in their head.

You traditionally rig. One of these up I’m gonna grab my ng lock hook here traditionally the way you’ll see. You come through the nose Texas rig turn. It around like so find your Center blah blah blah seeing it a million times punch. It out like so you would have your nose weight. Or bullet weight on there. And there you go the traditional thought process. What the crawdad is you’re dragging it. This was so that the claws are always out to the back reason behind. That is a crawdad walks forward guys. They don’t walk around backwards. They try to get away. They their tail up underneath their body which propels them backwards well. This dragging motion is imitating. They get ready to fight defensive posture. They kick up on their tail the claws come up. And they’re ready to grab.

All right but when they’re milling around they’re just walking around forward okay. They don’t go their whole life backwards trust. This was traditional everywhere. You see crawdad rig is gonna be rigged like. This which is great rig. That was fine but you get those thick mats. That start to build up here’s. What you can do first thing you’re gonna do is. This take that guy that’ll be a bail wait for you guys it’s going to be. You know 3/4 1 ounce like. Isaid depending on how thick your mats are you’re gonna take. That guy and insert. It rights up in here just like. And you’re starting to question my sanity. What you’re gonna do is you’re gonna grab your G la kook. Whatever you’re running and you’re gonna come right up through the eyeballs punch. It in you’re gonna go your quarter-inch stand right in the center. And you’re gonna pop. It out like so what you’re gonna do is take. It up here spin it just like. We did before right. This takes a little bit of finesse you’re gonna run the hook in.

And what’s your feeling for and. This thing in guys you always make sure. It in hole open to where the hook is gonna go in so. What I do pull on it okay I’m through. That eye what I’m doing is punching. That hook out to here see. That coming up underneath. And flush hooking it. When we’re fishing these guys. These things are pulled apart just like. What you’re going to have seen. How the weights on the bottom my line is tied out the front by the eyes. You pitch this up in with a traditional rig. And we’re Texas friggin. It lands boom like and it’s hard to get. That’s because that line is dragging on. Everything as it’s trying to drop down through so. What happens just so guys within. You know ounce in a thousand. And a half two ounce weights up on here well by doing this our line is.

Now on the top coming this way so. And dump this in its falling just like. This notice how everything’s in line it’s not going to create friction the lines come out the top. It drops down to that mat the weight Pierce’s. It falls straight down. It comes down and sits on the bottom. This thing is going to be tipped up like. These claws have some buoyancy guys so. What they’re going to do is everything’s going to be kind of tipped up like. This just kind of like see. What it’s wanting to do right there. Iknow we’re not in water but see. Iwas trying to tip up. What that’s doing is it’s putting. That crawdad in a defensive posture. You punch it down in their then.

What you do because anytime. You punch guys you’re not dragging it forwards. All you’re doing is dropping it into a mat. And you’re sitting there. And you’re shaking it pulling it up drop. It into the next mat. Or the next hole or the next pocket. Whatever it may be so you’re not dragging it. This thing is going to be in an automatic defensive posture. It comes down and hits just like. That so give that a shot for punching guys its incredible. You can do it with small. And the big whatever. You want that’s one of the things. We do that’s a little bit different. When late-summer happens. And the mats come up. You want to create a gliding bait. All remember that lure called the flying lure.

You probably saw the commercials. Iknow growing up as a kid. It six million times. What you can do let. Me grab a little bit bigger hook here is take. You look at you think about the principle behind the flying lure not trying to sell. Any of them guys I’m just trying to make a point here. What you had was a flat surface basically like a tube but. It was flat what it was made to do was glide back up underneath overhanging brush glide up underneath docks well flying finding the flying lure might be a little difficult. This day and age but there’s a lot of baits. That look just like. What we’ll do is this remembers the nail weights. We talk about all the time there’s. One right here now depending on how deep. You know the conditions. This may be bigger this may be lighter okay heavier lighter. What we’re gonna do is. This remembers we just rig. That puncher upside down we’re gonna do the same thing here but. What I’m gonna do I’m going to take. This nail weight right here.

And I’m gonna run it rights up in here just a little bit off-centered so. Ican get my hook I got my nail weight in there. Now I’m gonna come through rigging it backwards comes through the eyeballs turn. It Texas rigging it. Nothing fancy right like so. We find out the center Yatta Yatta punch. Now our lines coming out here with. That weight being in here see. That surface is flat. And everything’s laying back. You cast this up what’s going to happen is it’s going to go like. That it’s gonna glide down. And it’s going to glide. Because the weights in the back. Ihave a flat planing surface it’s gonna glide back up underneath. It lands down on the bottom. And sets up on the hook like. That the crawdads in a defensive posture. You pull it forwards. It glides right back well. This enables you to do is keep. Something in the strike zone for a very long period of time. Now the Beavers got a nice flat surface for this there’s a lot of other baits out.

That imitating the beaver the Berkeley Beast the Beast was originally designed to be a glider. All those will work guys. You rig them like you try to glide. This way this is causing commotion is causing the bait to run off drop down. Everything in line like. And with these claws guys. When I’m doing the gliding sometimes. Ileave them together. More planing surface to help fly. It back in their punch. That nail weights the nose rigging up Texas backwards your buddies will look at. You funny but you drop. She goes underneath the dock four. Or five feet you catch a big fish your stud right there rigged up glide. And Beaver backwards punch. And Beaver check them out guys give them a shot.
