At CamelBak we know water Our hydration systems let people push harder climb higher. And go further without worrying about their gear Our reservoir isn’t broken but. We decided to fix it anyway How do. We do it? First we researched We asked customers friends. And pro athletes what they wanted out of a hydration system The message from runners hikers. And cyclists was clear: More water per sip Next. We headed into the lab. And started geeking out Our engineers ran extensive tests to build a reservoir. That delivered just the right amount of hydration without wasting water. Or leaking With time our lab team hit the sweet spot a reservoir. That delivered 20% more water per sip We call. It Crux After months of development. We took the prototypes to our athletes Here’s. What they thought: "I love the new Crux reservoir" It’s really easy to open.

And close and the hose is a bit wider so. Ifeel like I can just take a. Few drinks it gets into. Me really quickly" "Before. It was a little bit. More work to get water in Now it’s a really good flow so. You need it quick you just get to your mouth real fast. And get the water in. And take a few poles. And then just move on" "It’s a lot. More efficient you drink. It on the trail You don’t have to drink as long just a quick sip. And you’re all hydrated up. And ready to smash the next climb" What else did. They want? A reservoir. That was easy to use They wanted to load up. And hit the trail without reading an instruction manual on how to hydrate. They needed gear that wouldn’t fail under. Any conditions no compromises How do. You make gear that can stand up to anything? First. You engineer and test Then. You take your prototype outside. And beat it up Then. You manufacture What kind of testing did. We do? How did we make our new gear? Crux is manufactured to exacting standards in our own factory The only factory in the world built exclusively to make reservoirs Every unit is pressure tested to check for leaks.

We take extra precautions to make sure every reservoir is shipped sparkling clean. And ready to use And just. How badly did this gear up? First. We headed up the street to our local crossfire box turned our gear over to the athletes. They hit it with sledgehammers slammed. It with tires Next it in the parking lot. And made it lift a car a foot in the air And finally. It to our toughest athletes. And let them do their worst Why does. This matter? It means. You can trust Crux to help. More of what you love Like. This And this And this So Go On We’ve Got Your Bak.

Hey YouTube friends survival craft here in. This video I want to give a basic overview of the Camelbak water bottle pouch. Ipurchased recently. Ibought this for $20 from a local sporting goods store which means it’s a little bit cheaper. Then a lot of the other offerings out there for instance from 511. And others what you’re getting is you’re just getting a basic water bottle pouch. This is built more in a Expedition style. Where it’s its very basic. You don’t get a lot of extras. You don’t get a lot of attachment points. You it’s a minimalistic design so. What you have up front is. You have six moly attachable points. And then on the back. You have a built-in strap system. That buttons down with. Another six moly attachable points aside from being very simple. This pouch also appears to be very rugged the straps here up front. And on the back are nice and thick much thicker. Than a lot of other bags. And pouches and they’ve. All been double stitched. This is made from 502 near Cordura fabric which means. It is 40 to 50 percent lighter. Then the thousand denier but it’s only about thirty percent less durable so. You know that you’re still getting a fairly durable package.

And it’s going to be lighter. Than comparable 1000 denier pouches. This pouch not only has a zipper closure. It also has a drawstring closure which means. You can fit larger bottles in. This pouch it will retain. It so to give you an example. This is the water bottle. Icarry with most of the time. When I’m out in the wilderness. This is a 44 ounce large mouth metal container. Even with the para cord around. It will fit in this pouch. It fits snugly but I can put. This in here I can actually close the lid with. Although it is a bit tight but. Idon’t want to close the lid. Ican just pull the drawstrings. And that’ll keep the bottle from falling out. And the padding around the sides will keep the water bottle nice and cool aside from the two different detainment techniques the drawstring and the zipper. It also has a nice function of having a very large drainage hole in the bottom so. If your water bottle ever did happen to leak it’ll drain out the bottom.

And allow this pouch to dry quickly. This will hold camel backs small. And large bottles but it’ll also hold a number of other bottles as you’ve already seen. It holds my large 44 ounce bottle. And it’ll hold large Nalgene bottles. And other bottles of the sort so. You can rest assured. You purchase you should be able to get. Whatever bottle you have into. This pouch and it’ll keep. It nice safe and cold so do. Irecommend this pouch. Most definitely this is a thick heavy pouch. That really keeps your water cold the padding on the inside is nice and thick. Ihave no problem carrying a container full of ice water for a full day. And have it cold at the end of the height. Ialso like the fact. That number it comes with the secondary retention strap so. Idrop my water bottle in here.

And don’t zip it up its number. One going to keep the bottle in there but also since. Ican cinch and keep. It tight it’s going to remain relatively cool as well. Ilike the fact it has built-in straps. And they’re nice thick heavy straps are not. Something I worry about ripping or breaking falling off. It looks good it feels good. And it’s a great durable pouch from Camelbak so as always thank. You guys for watching and stay.

Everybody I’m always surprised. Ifind out some things haven’t shown up on YouTube. Idid my mini-series on the Expedition travel items. Icouldn’t find a single video on the traveler neck pouch nor on the mori pouches. And it’s the same with today’s item there is no review whatsoever on. This Camel back bottle pouch Camelbak designed. These pouches for their better bottles product line frankly I’m not a big fan of the Camel back bottles but the nice thing about. This pouch is it can hold a regular Nalgene let. This real quick this is a regular 32 ounces. Or 1 liter Nalgene bottle. It fits in here quite nicely no problem whatsoever of course. What immediately comes to the mind of a gear savvy. Or gear addicted person is the 10 by 4 bottle holder from expedition. Ialready did a review on. This bottle holder in my Luanda video. And indeed both pouches are very similar. Both can carry a Nalgene sized bottle. Both have belts rubbing on the outside. Both are insulated to keep your water cool ok there is less webbing on the Camel back pouch. And the Camel back pouch doesn’t come with. This extra pocket on the front but there is also a price difference between the tool. You can get the Camel back pouch for less. Then 17 bucks whereas the Expedition important holder is around 34 35 bucks which is double the price so let’s check out the features of the Camel back bata touch. It is made of 1000 eco Doras there is a drainage hole on the bottom.

It has got three rows of nylon pearls webbing on the front. And also three rows of webbing on the back. What I really like about. This pouch is it comes with nylon straps. That are sewn to the top of the pouch. You can see these nylon straps can easily be opened. And closed with these snap fasteners. This is a very clever design in my opinion there is no need to fill. It around with tech ties. Or speed clips what have. You here the tech ties are built-in there is a pool tap with chakra right above the camera back logo. This allows you to cinch down the top of the pouch. Ihave never needed. This feature I assume. This is made for the special shape of camel backs own bottles the insulation does a really great job. Icannot give any scientific figures here but. It keeps your water cool for a reasonable amount of time I’ve used. This pouch quite a few times. This summer it in the car. Or somewhere on my pack.

Iwas really amazed. How well the insulation worked so. This is a very reasonably priced alternative to the Expedition bottle holder. Ican honestly recommend. This product thanks for watching please subscribe. You are new to my channel take care bye-bye.

You need to clean and the way. It sits in here is kind of neat too. This right here is pretty stiff it’s a it’s a stiff lip. This flange sits into. And it’s easy to take in. That I’ve stuffed all kinds of things in there. And then it has a third storage area with multifunction pockets got a zipper pocket here. You can put your change. And your wallet that in there it’s got a mesh pocket. And a larger pocket put your keys right here so. It goes the same depth as the main cargo goes the. All the way to the bottom. It holds everything and it’s adjustable has a adjustable chest strap with a bungee type feature the waist strap is also removable. That it’s got velcro right here to mesh pockets on. Either side to hold your bottom water bottles overall I’m just ecstatic with. This pack this at Gander Mountain. It was a high paid $99 for it. Ihave used this a lot. And I’m very happy with. Ilove having three leaders. Because that’s the to. Me that’s the difference between taking a six-mile hike. And taking a 10-mile hike depending on your water usage time of the year. That kind of thing but. Ireally like this pack.

Icontinue I will continue to use. Irecommend you want quality. You obviously can’t do. Any better than Camel back four for your packs. Some other things. Iwant to mention also it’s got side straps obviously to. You can connect things to. This like I have over here on the other side. All right today we have a drift hydration pack it’s a nice little hydration back pack comes with piece of little waist straps. One unique thing one comes with. That a lot of the cheaper ones don’t. Or not cheaper but less expensive is the actual hydration hose clip comes in really handy especially. If you’re on the move running hiking biking it’s a lot easier to use. It is to wrap it through the straps here well unwrap. It through the straps. You need the water comes with a nice little rubber plastic handle hoses go right up through here at the back of the straps are really soft come with reflective stripes on them so. You can easily be seen the bag itself has reflective stripes built into. All over the place some elastic bands comes with side pockets put. Some of your things. Even comes with an ear loop. Or a headphone pull extra little pocket over here for your cell phone iPod wallet couldn’t see. That extra storage space inside. Where the reservoir sits reservoir has its own pocket got. Another pocket here. You can put stuff one thing there is as. Ibelieve two hooks instead of the standard. One loop you can see. That so there’s that but the bladder.

That comes with it takes the two hooks instead of the. One loop it’s a two liter bladder comes with. It seems to be a pretty nice standard bladder wide mouth has a nice easy carry handle easy fill handle decent sized hose it’s a screw on not clip so. Ihave to keep that in mind. When filling cleaning such. It does come with a bite valve cover. Though so that’s handy. It doesn’t come with. It doesn’t come sealed the bite valve so make sure. You clean it really well pull on pull off overall looks like a really decent setup. Ihaven’t had a chance to use. Yet just got it out of the package. Ilook forward to trying it out. This weekend actually. Anything comes up I will update my review. You know what’s going on.

You want to learn about the. Most advanced hydration system on the market. How about a backpack that’s self pressurized well today we’ve got Mike representing geigerrig to tell. You about these hydration backpacks thanks Clint okay. Everybody has probably been familiar with Camel back Gregory there’s a bunch of companies. That kind of came into. That market right after Camel back kind of started the hydration backpack market. What geigerrig has done is taken. One step further what they’ve done is they’ve come out with a system. That is pressurized. And I’m the pack aware right. Now I’ve already pumped. It up but you can see. You don’t do this here. This is pressurized. It will pretty much empty about half the bladder before. It needs another pump up. It takes about 20 pumps on a larger bladder to make the make. It pressurizes and make. It comes out nice and strong then get. This off and kind of show. What the bladder looks like on the inside. This happens to be the largest of the packs there’re multiple sizes. And I’ll kind of go over those in a little bit but the 1600 is the largest of the packs so. It holds the larger water engine which is 100 ounces. It also can carry quite a bit of stuff. You can have feathers on the outside. You can tether down excess gear a large compartment on the inside. And in the back as you can see. Where the hydration engine is to get. You just simply deflate. Once it’s deflated this little puppy here holds. It up inside the flap the pack it’s. All quick-release so.

This is your air piece pull. It put down here at the bottom is the water. Because the bladder is too part so that’s your engine. That is 100 ounces and the back part here is the air chamber front part is the water chamber real easy to get in. And out of can turn. It completely inside out for washing antimicrobial so. You won’t get any of the nastiness. That builds up in just clean. Once in a while make sure. You keep now there’s like. Isaid offer it in two different sizes so 100 ounce. And 70 ounce the smaller packs use the 70 ounce bladder the larger packs use the hundred ounce that’s. It the largest pack here the 710 is the midsize pack. One is going to be good for a single day trip mountain biking greats great for. It for the mountain biking and. It will hold you know jacket multiple power bars.

Anything you really need for like a single day trip the Guardian is. One of the newer ones. And what’s cool about. This is its big it’s really. More of a race day only pack really only holds water but the idea behind the Guardian is. It has a large plastic piece here. And a large plastic piece here with compression straps so. This gives you the highest psi. We can get out of one of these bags. And so for somebody that’s racing in a really high endurance race. Where they’re huffed and puff. And a lot of being able to just spray the water in your mouth instead of having to suck on. It sounds little but it’s huge. You don’t have to take. And put your mouth on. That thing and not be able to take a breath. You can hold while you’re breathing and then as well. If it’s a hot day out. It over your head up on your neck it’s really nice to be able to actually have the water spray out instead of just kind of going to have to suck.

It out contamination issues are non-existent. Because water never goes back up in there sometimes your saliva can contaminate the inside the mouthpiece on a water pump on a water bladder with. Because its constant pressure pushing out. You don’t have that as well. If you’re in situation. Where your friend wants. Some water from you want to get. Me to get some water to your trail dog. You can blow it rights out of. This thing and they don’t have to touch. It with their mouths the other advantage to having to want a water sprayer is. You had full breath your knee rec your elbow. You can use this thing to dress the wound. All the walk you know spray. It out with the pressurized bladder so. That really makes it a nice feature a couple other items. One of the biggest ones. That’s because this is a pressurized system. What this does is this actually goes in line right here.

Because between your. You plug this in here. And then you plug in your other piece too here. And then that is that’s a fawn charcoal filter so. What you can do with. If let’s say you’re out on a multi-day trip. Or you’re out of water you’re in the mountains up in Mammoth. Or Sierra somewhere. And there’re all kinds of streams running Bible. You really can’t drink out of those streams without. Some type of water filter. What this does again. Because it’s water per I’m sorry pressurized. You can use a water filter on. You could take that thing dip. It rights into an ice-cold stream pressure. It back in pressurize. And bam you’re ready to go. You can drink water right out of the stream with. This thing so that’s. What really cool feature it’s exclusive to geigerrig pretty excited about. That’s because that’s. That opens up the door for a lot of different things. That do with the pack.

Where other packs you can’t do. That a couple other things. You are in a really cold climate. They have the housing and insulated tube. If anybody’s snow boards. Or snowmobiles where it’s really cold you’ve known. You try to use an exposed tube like. It will actually freeze up so. This will keep that from happening and then. Another little cool feature about. This takes the whole mouthpiece in. What you can do here is. You take one of those shake up hand warmers. You stick that inside. It there closes and then your tube comes down. You will never ever freeze up. Even in below zero temperatures. This was designed in Utah. They need a lot so this is a really useful tool. You are in zero degree weather or really cold weather packs range in price from about 119 for the entry level up to about 175 for the larger models.

And there are more packs available. You can see the complete line on JC Motors calm. And thank for your time thanks Mike as always. We welcome your questions. You can call us at 877 six. Or go to JC Motors comm get live support. You will find out why JC Motors is. Where writers get deals.

Everyone I am chaser Rocky Mountain atv/mc giving you a closer look at the rig 300 hydration packs from geigerrig alright so today we’re giving you a closer look at the rig 300 hydration packs coming from geigerrig. If you’re not too familiar with geigerrig you’re in for a treat. This company makes super high-quality hydration packs two year warranties on. All their bags but the bread-and-butter the big standout feature with. These is a pressurized hydration system. That comes included so with the traditional hydration pack overall used to is. It comes time to get a drink. You bite down in the sip tube. And then you start to suck to get the water out with their pressurized hydration packs. You don’t have to suck to get water out. And said it will actually just spray water into your mouth. And we’ll talk more about the in-depth here in just a little bit but. Iwill tell me personally. Iuse their system I am a big fan so. We do offer these in multiple different sizes we’ve got the 300. You also have the 1600. And the 700 again that’s gonna be in cubic inches for our storage capacity so really just gonna boil down to.

How much storage capacity do. You want as far as to which bag. Or which hydration pack you’re gonna go with so with the 300 M we’ll start with the front we’ll work our way to the back so on the front here you’re gonna have two pockets so you’ve got your. One large main pocket. And fold it down you’re gonna see that’s gonna have your hydration bladder here on the inside. This is gonna come included with a 70 ounce hydration bladder that’s 2 liters of water. And you’re gonna notice to. That on the inside of. That flap you do have a couple mesh pockets so just keep in mind. That on the inside here the only thing separating any. You know any tools. You might be putting inside here is gonna be. This thin pouch so you just want to be conscientious of what you put inside the pack the last thing you want to do is damage.

Or puncture in your hydration bladder on the inside but pretty big pocket their zip. This back up real quick. Now on the outside you have. More external pocket so. You can see it’s pretty big pocket. Ican get my hand all the way inside there. All the way down to the bottom you’re gonna notice to a lots of MOLLE webbing here on the outside so makes a little bit easier to attach additional items. It around we look at the back side here so. You got your shoulders chef’s. What I like about these they’re nice and wide. Even for a pack this size looking underneath those. You can see you’ve got a lot of ventilated mesh padding here throughout the entire back of. Even on these shoulder straps. You are gonna have a chest strap which. And then you’re gonna have a waist belt down along the bottom.

These flaps here aren’t going to have pockets on them just keep. That in mind but you are gonna have. This nice big buckle here to help sense. That down what I like about having this chest strap especially for your muses for riding just gonna help secure the pack a little bit better to the rider. You will notice that on these shoulder straps okay you’ve got your hydration your sip tube coming down then here on. This left side you probably wonder what. That is that’s what they call their power bulb. One of the features of. That pressure as hydration pack. Ijust mentioned so. You can see it actually just tucks in here nicely on. That left shoulder strap so that’s gonna be the pack again your 300 cubic inches of storage space but.

Now let’s talk about. What I call it the bread. And butter which is the key feature of these packs it’s there a pressurized hydration system so. Ican mention earlier with your typical hydration packs. That we’re all used to. It comes time to drink. You got to bite down. And start to suck to get water out. It works okay but in. Some situations like. If you’re out of breath sometimes it’s pretty hard to control your breathing long enough just to get a good swig of water out of. That so a third system what’s unique about. That as you’ll notice here on. One side it is clear that’s. Where the water is going to go but. It around we look at the back here you’ll notice. You have this blue material so what’s unique there’s actually two separate compartments on. This bladder so your water is going to go in here.

And then on this back compartment that’s blue you’re actually use. That power bulb I just showed. You on the pack and you’re going to use. This to actually pump up the separate compartment on the back. You pump that is what’s giving you the enough pressure so. It comes time to drink. You can bite down on the valve. You want to you can literally just take your fingers squeeze. It will squirt water into your mouth. And so what’s great about. You are out of breath it’s not gonna be as difficult to try. And get water out but as well. It allows you to drink. More water quicker because you’re able to get. More water coming through the sip tube so it’s just gonna lie to hydrate just a little bit faster there’s also multiple uses.

You can use for this. You can just use it for drinking but as well. Iknow a lot of people like to use. These for pets they take them on a walk. You can just spray water out. And have your pet drink. You could use it to dress a wound. Or to clean a wound. You did go down so there’s just multiple uses. That you’re gonna get out of. This by having it is a pressurized system. Now as far as the bladder goes couple things with. What I like is a sliding lock on top. These are dishwasher safe so. You want to take your sip tube off take. That power bulb off flip. It inside out from the top shelf of your dish shaking washes can be just fine. They do have a lifetime warranty against leaking on. All the hydration bladders. And also what you can do. You like they’re pressurized hydration system but. You don’t want to necessarily spend the extra money for the pack itself.

You can buy these separately. These in a 70 or a 100 ounce option so 2. Or 3 liters so you want to be able to use. This in a pack you currently have. You can do and like. Isaid that’s the system. Ijust have the hydration system. It in my hunting pack. Ialready have now a couple. More things keep in mind along with. That every pack is going to include their housing for their aqua mirror for their virus filter so it’s a series 4 filter I’m actually going to unscrew. This for you so here on the inside. This is the filter that’s going to help filter your water. Now keep in mind these do not come included so again. You get your pack you’re gonna have the housing but before. You go out there and just try. And drink water out of a stream.

Or maybe a leg you want to make sure. You do have a filter installed so. You just pick these up separately they’re gonna have multiple different options so make sure look at the options. That are available get the right. That you’re going to need but as long as it’s a series four. It will work inside. This housing and what you do with. This housing it’s really simple. You got to do is just take. It disconnects your power bulb. And connect our excuse. Me disconnect your sip tube connect. This to the hydration pack. And then connect your sip tube to. You can start to drink out of. It so in that’s case. You know if you’re out. You don’t have any water you’re out of water. You have a stream or lake nearby. You can refill your packing and be good to go. And also because like with. This 300 you notice. This pouch here this little area here to hold. That power bulb well. They do sell those individually as well so.

You want to take one of these up. You can use to help secure. That power bulb right to your shoulder strap on your own pack. Some information I thought would be useful is. What you might be asking yourself is. Many pumps does it take to actually fill. This up enough to start getting. That water pressurized so. What I have found is. When the hydration bladder is completely full you’re about 15 pumps to. You have enough pressure to start squirting water out about 25 pumps. Ican actually have pressurized water coming out for about 10 to 15 seconds but. One thing to remember is. Many pumps it takes to get. This pressurized is actually dependent really on how much water. You have inside the hydration bladder so. You have about if it’s about half full it’s gonna take about 40 pumps to get enough pressure to get. That water out so just. Something to remember. You have a completely full. You do want to release. Some pressure inside there it’s very simple to do. You can see you have.

This release valve here on the power ball just press. You actually hear that air come out of their well. That is the geigerrig rig 300 hydration packs coming from guy grig do. Everybody’s James Barney your nine-fingered ran for another edition of outdoor gear tvcom hangout sunny Colorado western Colorado geigerrig City it’s actually a hydration system pack made by a guru GBI RIT it’s a fairly new product they’ve been out. And thinking here — pretty cool it’s its a hydration system. That uses a of a internal bladder system. You can actually pump up here. You can pump if pressure on inside the pack the bladder pack actually pressure rises up. What that’s going to do. This is going to allow. You to instead of sucking on. This like a camel back it’s actually sprays water out so. Idon’t have it filled up right. Now opportunity pump. It up get the bladder inside of here. All pumped up and ready to go. And then this actual spray so. Ithink their model is. It sprays it doesn’t suck so. This yesterday I was mountain biking Red Hill at Carbonate good. It was good packed I did run out of water a. Few hours doing that so let’s just check out. More features of this the main features. That school is about. These packs it’s pressurized suck. It like a Camel back. It sprays out you can just spray. You can spray your buddy in the face. You don’t want to drink after. Somebody you can spray there. You can spray your dog’s. Or bring your feet off it’s pretty nifty. They make a bunch of different sizes of pack. One was ideal for mountain biking their smaller ones with quick day hikes there’s not a lot of room inside just to keep your water your cell phone iPod.

Something like another neat thing. Ilike about geigerrig is they’ve got they’ve got a in-line filtration system. That flips in so if you’re hiking or you’re out by mountain biking and. You run out of water. You can just go right down in the stream. You probably hear the stream of siding and fill up your bladder close. It up flip and drink the water right out it’s a carbon filter. It handles about 50 gallons so kills the grd. All the nasty that’s pretty cool. That idea so inline filtration that’s. Another cool bonus I like about geigerrig hydration system. Idid notice you put to the in-line filtration the pressures will flow that’s not a big deal so check. That out the geigerrig pack. We got great hydration see my girl. This is James nine fingers transferred outdoor gear tvcom. You for getting your gear getting outside.
