II was out of the range blinkin with my sexy savage tent er. Ijust got a brand-new 10 round magazines last week. This is my first time trying it out. It works great bring his stiff it's held. You got to be the Incredible Hulk to get. That 10th round in there but got the new muzzle brake installed to. This gun just is amazing um the last video. Idid of I was talking about the different ammunition types. That I'd been testing with the gun. And the best too was the Remington premier match 168 grain sierras matchking boat tail hollow points. And the other this Hornady black 168 grain a max. Igot the damn camera to focus on. This stuff is this has so far been the. Most consistent most accurate between. And the premier match so. This has been the ammunition. Iselected to pretty much be the sole ammo. Iput through this rifle so. Iusually go to the rant the gun stroll by two three boxes at a time of. This it's not necessarily. That cheap and reloading is definitely better way to go but seeing as. Idon't reload this is the next best thing for me to do. Idon't shoot this rifle. That often maybe only about. Once a month that's a lie I've shot. This gun every weekend for the past two months but that's my plan down the road so as.

You see by the title you're probably wondering what I'm talking about well I'm gonna show. This little fail I had I'm gonna get a fresh bullet out so. This is a just a factory Hornady black round 300 868 grain a max bullet looks pretty normal right so. Ihad 5 rounds loaded in the 10 TR mag. These are the first four. Idon't see any problem do. You know okay gun was working fine so the fifth round. Iwent to chamber and the bolt got locked the actionable things been dry fired. It was just right about there like. Icouldn't quite lock. It in to lock the bolt I'm like. What the hell's going on. Ilooked it was still out of battery well. This is the part that pissed. Me off look okay well. You know what maybe.

Ijust didn't close the bolt right so. Iopened I slammed. It hard just to get. That round chambered bad call. What happened was the round itself. This round right here got wedged in there I'm not exactly sure. Ifigured after the first time. Itried to chamber I should have just backed right off but. Because I'm so smart. Ididn't it took a friend tonight twenty minutes. Iam not kidding it took. Is just like just shy of 20 minutes to get the bolt unlocked. And pulled back enough to get. That round out of there. And being Hornady ammunition. II thought I fight like it's got to be the gun there's got. Something wrong with the gun. Because Hornady is a very like premium brand a very reputable brand boy was. Iwrong so you guys see. That ledge right there on the top of the neck the camera's not gonna pick.

It off the neck itself oh. It actually oh yeah. It might actually the neck itself is bulged. Now I'm assuming this bulge happened. Itried to jam it into the chamber but. It looks like the round itself the case neck wasn't trimmed. That is very very very surprising from a horn from Hornady. Iwould expect you know with a cheaper brand but. Ireally would not expect. That for an Indian ition. That costs thirty-five dollars a box surprised. Me quite a bit like. These are a bit. Than a dollar a bullet every time. You pull the trigger. And that's what we get. You can see the difference I'm not sure. That happened and I'm actually really not sure. That made that past their QC. Because Hades got excellent quality control from.

What I've heard but. Ijust wanted to show. This I'm not in any way trying to knock on Hornady. And I'm gonna be a hundred percent honest with. You I'm still going to be using this ammunition it's extremely accurate it's extremely it's extremely good. And it's actually more affordable. Most matching munitions, so I'm still gonna use. And I'd go I think I've got. Another ten boxes of. This right now sitting on my shelf, so I'm still gonna use. It's just I just wanted to point. This out cuz that was very surprising any who thanks. You have two tons of ammunition. Both federal we've both found. It there this is a very liable ammunition no misfires yes it's clean here. You have to shoot typical soft point rounds just a soft light tip shoot 55 grain 55 grains. We know it's so guard rifle sight. And 455 grains we never tested on. Anything else right the gun store said. That the ranges we're shooting at. It would make quite a difference depending on what brain be shot but. These are served us very well. They do a good deal damage to the to your specific target. Whatever it may be. These are federal v shock. We first experimented with. These things yesterday yeah. They destroyed they just tear. Everything apart they have a nice not WC OS device. This little hollow point right there. These things they hit. They just they splinter. They just wreck shit. Anything in their way is just going to get totally shredded till. They blown apart we had the ground like. Isee probable like. That big just look right through. It just blew everything out. And the soft play sweet we've noticed. That we've hit a few ground hogs. And they've kept going I mean. They were low gunshots but with those hollow points it's not going anywhere. You will put a groundhog down.

Idefinitely recommend the hollow points over the soft points. Because they're the same price the hollow points do a better job from. What we've now observing yeah. If you're going to use. You want to hit them in a very vital area such as the head. And I'm heart longs easy primitive anywhere. And then up could have been far.
