These things and traction seems good. Ilike the ankle support with the 8-inch boot. It really you cinch those uptight. It really gives you a lot of support. These have saved me half a dozen times probably from a relatively badly sprained ankle the hunting fields. Ido have on order currently. Another pair of hunting boots coming in with insulation in them it's. Another pair of dinners. And I'll do a review on those. Iget them in they have 400 grams of Th insulate insulation that's the. One of the bad things about. These boots is they do. Ishouldn't say it's a bad thing they just don't have insulation so. When you're out in November deer season here in Maine. You need to wear a few layers of socks inside of them but. Ifigured with the insulation maybe a wool sock. And I'd be fine these are. All positives these boots a positive review overall negatives would be. This is not an american-made boot there has been of late the last.
Idon't know four or five six years DNR has outsourced a number of their boots to China. One of those boots you will hear. Some bad reviews mostly about the gore-tex giving out. And the boot not being waterproof. Ihave read a fair amount of those from my own personal experience the gore-tex is held up fine the boot is held up fine but. Iwanted to kind of be clear about. That these are not a us-made boot. They are made in China therefore. They are cheaper than the. Us made boobs the mountain lights. Ishowed you before are over three hundred dollars. These are I believe. These are one hundred. And seventy dollars so there's a significant price difference so.
They are made in China. And the other negative. Ifind about these boots are. They are not you cannot get them resoled. These boots once the soul is gone the Buddha's gone so. You could call it a disposable boot. It was 170 dollars on Deanna boots there have the complete stitch down. All the way around the sole our boots. They can be recraft 'add boots like. It has a partial stitch down you'll notice here. And here is stitch down but right here is cemented on the front is cemented down so. These boots cannot be resold so. Once they're used once the sole is used up the boot is used up so. Ijust wanted clarity in. Anybody buys they cannot be resold. They are made in China so. If that's a deal-breaker.
You know you have to look somewhere else. Or look for a more expensive pair of us-made Danner's the fit is good they're very comfortable. Iwould recommend them overall. However the new pair of hunting boots. Ihave coming in is a us-made pair. That can be resold, so I'm trying to get away from the Chinese made boots at. This point and going to the us-made so take. I like lacrosse boots on a pair of snake-proof boots last. Me for a while but a waterproof issue with. These his problems cousin. I went turkey hunting walked across a creek spent the next four hours truck into the woods with wet feet, so I'm gonna give it a full maybe about three minutes. They are very comfortable.
I'm just walking in the water flexing the booth. You would normally when you're walking yeah my left foot after almost about a minute began to get wet. All right foot I think it's dry but my left foot is obviously getting wet so it's been three minutes my sock. That is moisture very short period. This sock there's a little damp but not much take the right. On the right boot may have passed the test with the left boot did not but.
It does feel a little damp. You can't tell you see the water line. And ironically yep very wet very disappointing.
