Ijust always figured. It was just like a regular Zippo lighter like. And like yeah just they put out heat right radiating a lot of heat so. Ipicked one up it's not. What I thought this there's no lighter in here. You have to light and it's a catalytic reaction so there's no there's no flame it's just a continuous ongoing chemical reaction it's cool so. This is there's a 612-hour version. They come with a little bottle. That shows how much fluid to put in. You put the regular fluid in. This little bag you can hold. It in your hand it gets up too about. It up to about 110 115 degrees. You just keep your hands warm it's cool stuff. And I'll load it up with fuel. And we'll light and take. Some temperature readings of. One thing I wanted to do was see. Iactually seen how long. It actually lasts they say the initial burn doesn't last very long doesn't do't last as long as 12 hours.

Idon't know initial burn. Whatever so I've burned. It twice and I'm gonna fill. It up again, and we'll take I'll take. Some temperature readings over time. And we'll see what we'll see. It goes see with the temperature. How the temperature progresses over time right so let's do. That let's load it up got the fuel bottle loaded up to the recommended level. And we're gonna take the little cap off here put. This straight again. What the cap looks like so there's. Some kind of something in. It will catalyst something on a brass ring I'm not. Idon't really understand. These things work and guess just. Some sort of catalytic reaction but. This thing this little weak in here is not consumed. Nothing at least in. That short term is consumed let. Some point you'll have to replace. This but in the two times I've done. Nothing has been consumed as far as.

Ican tell so we'll load. This up real quick carefully not to spill. It on kids are being greedy in the background. You can probably hear him alright death should be twelve hours. And about 115 degrees. Or so aren't any hell I'm gonna go like. This with one hand holding the camera so that's not gonna work standby it's. What you're supposed to do is hold. It sideways and hold a lighter under. It for about 15 seconds. Each so 15 seconds on. Each side so that's. What we'll do now know. What you know the lighter ran out of juice so flipped. It okay good done okay so. Now take a temp reading Oh 73 issue on the bench oh that's a little optimistic yeah it's still pretty hot so. That 532 is probably from just being heated by the lighter, so we're at 240 okay so. We got a steady reaction going here. All right let's put. It in there let's put. It in the cover and take. It takes a few readings so. Ijust put the cover on no so.

All right ten nine twelve per the instructions I'll put. It in the pouch and um it's definitely. One to the touch it would feel comfortable on a cold day. And we're at yeah, so I'm gonna hang. It up on my bench, and we'll come check. It in a little bit so we're about five hours in so uh see it's doing pretty well, so we're at a little bit over 10 hours in. Now we're up to 130 we're twelve hours in at. This point so We got a peak of 131. And then my next hit was 127 26:17. And then at the 12-hour mark. We were at 114 degrees so it's definitely going on. And on a decline but. It made it the 12 hours so my thoughts on. This little hand warmer thing I mean. It seems to do what the package says 12 hours. It through 12 hours. It was over a hundred. And ten degrees that is considered warm. Now the ambient was 71 maybe.

It would be maybe it would be good to test. This in a cold environment maybe an ice chest. Something I have a constant low temperature. How hot this thing can get that'll be for another video but yeah seems to do alright that's.
