It’s a one-off operation it’s the aussie rcbs flesh hole. Deburring tool very simple to set up and use normally do just put it in there. Like that and you can probably might see. The end of the tool protruding through the bottom and it’s just literally as. Well if you can it’s just a little pin at the bottom there you’ll pin there. Anyway just give it a few twists. Hey you tubers how y’all doing if you’re. The lyman case prep. That is for a couple weeks now i really. Like it comes with a number of tools. Here first we have the inside the bore. The burr tool the outside de bourgh tool. And we have here is the military primer. Remover and the pocket cleaner and here. Is the primer pocket uniform so what. This does the uniform er make it so. It’s all the correct depth when you seat your primer the primp military primer. Remover of course removes a military crimp that’s on the primer and then the. Cleaner you do this last it cleans out the pocket make sure there’s no gunk in there and then it has missile mica. Powder came with it and these brushes. Right here come in four different sizes. Depending on a caliber but after you’re done doing everything you need to the. Neck simply stick it on their cleans out. The inside the in the as far as these. Three tools here it comes in small and. Large primer sizes so I’ll handle. Everything the you know I’ve had a bunch. Of brass sitting around that had military primers in it and i didn’t have. A tool to remove the crimp excuse me up until i got this couple. Weeks ago so I’ve been sitting around removing a lot of the crimps on those you know it’s pretty good brass and i. Was intent on using it i knew someday i would get a tool so finally did pretty. Nice let me show how it works here turn it on get everything spinning. Duncan in some micro powder whoops. Trying to do is left-handed so you can see it which is probably not going to turn out that well this here is two to three brass so stick it on there for a second at the inside sticking out here. Get the outside now i do not know if. There’s a certain order in which you do this I’m assuming you need to get rid of the military crimp first so you do that. You kind of feel it you can tell when. The primer is still there you can tell when it’s removed, so we’re going to go in a uniform and it will not fit over. The uniform until the military primer is. Removed military primer crimp excuse me. Then we’re going to clean it out now. We’re going to stick it on the brush get everything out throughout of the neck and it’s done so yeah it’s kind of cool. Thing comes a little brushing there’s gonna be a lot of brass on here comes a little brush to clean it up and then putting this trays removable get a lot of brass in there right now but i can tell you this thing. Here really speeds up the process i like. It’s not that loud motor is pretty quiet comes in 220 or 110 volts this one. Here’s a 110 volt obviously if I’m in america and you know all the outlets of. My house is all 110 so it has little. Screw slots here there’s three on this side three on this side as you see over here i have these brushes hooked up but. Then you can also put the extra accessories over here too if you want to swap out right now i have the small. Primer pocket uniform around there but. It works really well it makes the process go really fast cuz i had a little hand job you i used before just one little device and in fact here it is. Excuse me it’s right here and it’s what i used and see you set you know going like this and. It worked well but if you’re going to be doing you know a lot of brass after an. Hour to of this you know your fingers are tired of twisting but this thing here makes it very simple and like i. Said i really like the fact it gets rid of that military primer. I’m not good at left-handers. And I’m pretty sure once you’ve been. Using this for a little while sure you. Get even better at it. And that’s it so this here’s the case. All right when I’m going to try something a little different and i found an old go pro here so I’m just going to. This case presses the lyman case prep. Express i should probably go over what. It came with and what I’ve added so when. It comes with is all this right here so. You have a outside chamber tool and inside transfer tool you have a military. Crimp removal small military crimp. Removal large a primer pocket uniforming. Tool for small and large primers you. Have a primer pocket scraping tool. Cleaning tool first large and small and. Then it has a case neck scrubbers comes. With a little brush to clean up the mess. With and some dry case neck loop but what. I found is i then really like these. Let’s raid crimp removers didn’t really do a very good job or i didn’t feel i did these the uniform errs i haven’t. Found a case these really even touched yet, so they haven’t really even been used and these cleaning tools i didn’t. Like too much so what i found is i. Picked up these two guys here these are. Our cbs primer pocket cleaning brushes what they. Are is they’re basically a brush a wire brush that scrapes out the inside of the. Primer pocket and then this is the rcbs. Military crimp removing tool and the way. I use this is i put this guy here and. This will be this is the for small. Primers this is the brush for the small. Primers this is the brush from large. Primers not going to need that guy saw but put that in a little holding tray and then i got this with a handle and. This is a flash while uniform er so I’ll. Stick this guy up here turn it on you’ve. Got a couple pieces of brass over here that are ready to be cleaned up as you. Can see the still has the military crimp. On it and the primer pocket is pretty. Dirty these haven’t been trimmed yet. Either size apply trim first bones gonna show them to you how this works anyway. So what I’ll do is I’ll put it on this. Guy first and I’ll just make sure that. The flash hole has been uniforms they’ve. Got a nice little burr out of that guy and then you take the military crimp. They just get set on this guy and up a. Little you use a little bit of force sure not that the crimp you can see that. It’s nice bevel in there now put on the. Brush i go to a couple twists nice and. Clean inside of there now. Today i want to talk a little bit about the lyman universal lathe style trimmer. Collar lace style because it kind of works like a lathe but it’s a lyman universal trimmers what it is its a 4k. Streaming a lot of you already know that you get a lot of these different size. Collet depending on what caliber this is. For nine millimeter what caliber brass. That you’re trimming that keeps the. Mouth concentric of you know round. Perfect fort of when you get this. Trimmer you get this ram that goes in one. The end of the ram as a cutter head and. These pilots they go into the cutter. Head there’s a set screw that you loosen. Up right there and that goes on in that. Enters the mouth this particular one. That comes with it’s got a knurled handle and you know it’s great for doing. Small batches however you can do your. Finger raw spinning out a large amount. What i purchased and it’s been in for a. While today’s the first day i got to play with it as the new attachment that lamin. Offers it allows you to run off of the. Drill. This right here lets you set your depth. Basically what you do is if you have a piece of brass that’s already trimmed to what you want you chuck it up in this. Holder it’s got a detent a ball detent. That goes into the flesh of sorry to the. Primer pocket and it keeps it centered. Then it locks it down then you would. Move this until it touches the mouth set. Under the set screws slide these forward. Tighten it up and that sets it so that. You get the proper length what I’m doing. With it today is I’m processing my 40. Brass for my 44 magnum swage bullets the. Problem i have i leave the primers in so i got to mess. Around and make sure it’s perfectly getting straight before i start trimming but let me chuck a few of these up and just show you how fast that i can trim. These to size whereas i was using my. Hand I’ve got all of these that I’m. Going to process taught it by hand with. That handle was just eating my fingers. Raw and today I’m gonna reach through. The camera here this is how many i. Processed so far with this drill in a. Matter of 28 minutes but I’ve also been. Taking my time of readjusting everything. So let me figure out a good way to put. This camera and then we’ll run through a. Few and I’ll let you see how quickly and. Short work it makes a trimming brass. We’ll try from this angle so since this. Still has the primer in it i flied in. Until i hear a click i press my thumb and try to keep it as. Straight as possible then I’ll just push. The ram against the mouth and close it. And that keeps it pretty good so now all. You need to do is have on safety glasses. Like I’ve got then just now you as well. Notice there’s a little bit of wobble that’s okay. That’s all there is to it you see the. Shiny ring around the mouth okay it’s. About the best of the close-up as i could get let’s go ahead and try this out. Okay i showed you trim in the 40s to. Length to make my 44 magnum here I’m. Going to trim a 40 to make my 45 I’ve. Got it tucked up into the case holder. And here we go you’ll see how many materials taken away. To form a 45. And I’ll do one more here. Let me just be. And i do have a guard that keeps all the. Shavings they fly back towards the camera it looks like, but they’re really going into a pow in front of me, so they’re not one all over the room so you. Can see it makes real quick work of it.

Okay i thought while i was at it i would. Also do a quick review of the hornady one-shot a case loop just to give some. Impressions on half of it i had for a very long time I’ve been using the. Imperial sizing die way for all of my. Resizing that is this stuff right here. It’s by reading imperial sizing die wax. This stuff is actually really good it. Works really quite well but it has some advantages and disadvantages but really. What i found is that for really heavy-duty sizing like if you’re resizing cases necking up necking down. In the past i have made some 257. Weatherby brass out of seven millimeters. Remington magnum brass and when you’re doing that type of operation the. Imperial sizing iox really works well because this stuff it lubricates. Extremely well it covers extremely well but there are some disadvantages to it. First of all it’s a way that comes in. This little tin and basically you’ve got to smear it on every single case making sure you get you’ve got good even coverage but making also making. Sure that you don’t have too much. Because if there’s too much on there you’re going to wind up getting a lot of dimpled shoulders on your cases from if. You fold three size so because you. Now it just creates there’s enough wax. In there and as it squeezes into the dye the wax accumulates at the shoulder and. Because it can’t be compressed it. Pushes in hydraulically dimpling the. Shoulders of the case it also sucks. If you’re doing a lot of full length. Resizing I’ve recently got and i recently finished assembling my ar-15 i. Also recently purchased a. Browning var mark 2 25.6 it’s a safari. I’ll show those to you they’re actually really cool. Beautiful rifle here’s my ar-15 that i. Assembled from nothing but a stripped lower receiver it’s a rock rubber arms lower receiver finished assembling that myself so anyway as a result I’ve gone. From hand building for mostly. Bolt-action rifles where i do mostly. Just neck sizing to the semi-automatic. Switch really miss require that a person. Folding three size every single time i found i haven’t had to use a small like. Small base folding sizing die regular. Sizing guy works fine but because. Especially with the ar-15 I’m going through a lot more ammo with that rifle and so i am reloading in large batches. And applying sizing die lubricant like. The imperial die one case at a time it. Takes a long time the hornady one shot i read about this. Are you decided to give it a try this. Stuff is actually really good it works really well but you’ve got to do it a certain way. What i do is I’ve got a rag here that i. Made out of an old towel that had been gotten kind of ratty the wife was not. Very happy when i cut it up but when i reminded her that it had a hole in it you could put your fist through she was. You know less upset but anyway i made. This little towel i can lay the brass out on the towel side by side with. The necks you know facing towards me and then you can just take the sizing die. And you can just spray it rights across i. Don’t have any brass that’s to go right now but you can spray it rights across and then you just roll the brass about 180 degrees spray it again. And then you want to wait until it sets. Up now the directions tell you basically. You know shake well before using it’s that kind of little ball of their like pam spray paint you want to shake it up really well because you want to get the waxes dispersed in the solvent that’s. Inside there and you spray a light coat. On roll the cases over spray another. Light coat but then the biggest thing i. Found is you want to spray some like. About a 45 degree angle the directions say that you want to spray at an angle like this you don’t want to spray down on other cases because if you do that it doesn’t really disperse the. Lubricant very well plus when you’re folding three sizing unless you’re using like a reading dye with a carbide button for neck sizing you want to get a. Little bit of lubricant inside the face neck that makes you know the. Resizing process on the case neck much smoother and by spraying at about a. 45 degree angle and assuring you good coverage i usually go like once and then go back i go like once across the body of the cases and then once again across the shoulders and necks to you good. Coverage then the key is you want to let. It sits okay this stuff is like a wax really in a solvent suspension and if. You spray this on and then just go ahead. And start trying the size well it’s. Still wet well that solvent is still as. It hasn’t evaporated yet it doesn’t. Really lubricate very well and you’ll be. Frustrated and i made that mistake i didn’t wait long enough i get in hurry. Sometimes and i was initially frustrated. Because i was having a hard time with. The cases that well this stuff really doesn’t work but then as i went along of course by the time i started getting into the later cases you know it’s going along. They’ve had a chance to set up the. Solvent had evaporated and that leaves basically a very thin layer of wax. On the case and that provides the. Lubrication once it has a chance to set. Up it actually is a very good lubricant. It’s basically every bit as good as the. Imperial sizing guy for light to medium. Duty operations again i wouldn’t use it. For really heavy-duty like case resizing. For you know forming cases like nicking. Down or you know converting a case like. A like a seven millimeter rem mag into a 257 whether you mag i wouldn’t use it for that but for normal full-length resizing the stuff is fantastic just make sure you give it a chance to it takes about depending on the. Ambient temperature i like to give it. Three to five minutes to set up or you. Now just blow on it a little bit if you’ve got an air compressor most america it or whatever um the other. Think that says here on the back of the. Label that i noticed is it says it. Doesn’t contaminate won’t contaminate. Powder primers sorry that’s my lab she’s. In need of attention lucy go lay down. Anyway says a won’t contaminate powder. Primers evenly distribute lubricant over. The entire case won’t creeper migrate that’s actually really true as far as contaminating powder our primers i haven’t any problems with it but i generally tumble my brass after i use. This stuff because i don’t like it i don’t like i don’t like reloading greasy. Brass because it does feel greasy it. Says eliminates the greasy mess usually associated with resizing cases but that’s not exactly true i mean it’s not as greasy as some of the other lubricants but it is still kind of greasy it does definitely make a sizing. Easier but it also says it prevents. Tarnish reduces drag on the case extraction and helps prevent scouring. Scratching damage and minimizes jamming problems in semi-automatic firearms now. That says to me apparently that they intend for this stuff to remain on. The cases after you’ve resized them and. Loaded them that they don’t really think. That you need to clean it off that is probably a personal preference however i tried that myself and what i. Discovered was it if you shoot these and. If you shoot loaded cartridges that. Still, have the stuff on the cartridge case through a semi-automatic firearm it. Is very dirty what happens is that. Lubricant kind of scorches and burns a. Little bit it creates kind of like I’m a. Channel where rather than the having the. Case expand firmly against the inside of. The chamber and seal the chamber up really well it allows more blow back to. Get by along the sides of the case and. The cases basically come out really. Dirty and them in the wax itself kind of. Blackens and the case has come out filthy does it improve function i don’t. No i keep my rifles really clean so i. Haven’t noticed any difference my. Browning is you know fairly new in it. And i keep it very cleans so it’s it functions just fine by ar-15 has a nova ski with the five. Five six mod one chamber which is like a 223 wild. Combat chamber so it’s designed. To be fairly accurate but still. Extremely reliable so i haven’t had any problems at all as far as function goes everything’s. Been 100% reliable so i don’t know if it. Is really benefiting anything that much. What it does do is it makes your brass. Absolutely filthy it’s got like this layer of blackened scum that’s about. Twice as bad as it would be if you. Don’t have that layer on there so what. I’ve decided to do from now on is i go. Ahead after I’m done resizing i throw the. Cases back in the tumbler and tumble. Then to clean off all of that way so. That they’re basically just clean polished brass and that works just fine. And it’s a lot less messy this stuff. Also works really good too for the five six brass that. When you have to swage primer pockets i. Use a rcbs primer pockets wager died in. My press over here and this allowed this. You can lubricate the primer pockets which makes the process a lot easier. Without putting too much lubrication on. There you don’t create like hydraulic. Problems but it definitely makes primer. Packets waging of military five six. Brass quite a bit easier so i really. Highly recommend this stuff it actually works really well i was a little skeptical but i picked it up because it was on sale i read a couple of good. Reviews about it online but i found you. Now that in my experience it actually has been a really good. Sizing daily so i would suggest if. You’re looking for something that you can lubricate a lot of brass in. In bulk in batches this stuff is good. To go so alright that’s it thanks mike.

Hey guys real quick video on how we’re applying case lube to the brass that we’re full-length sizing in our Dylan 650 so what i have here are 50 pieces of. Brass that are ready to be sized I’ve got them in a rcbs loading block we. Typically, are using hornady one-shot case lube and the way that i like to apply to the brass that seems to work for a well for me is i make sure it’s. Shaken up to really well and i apply a nice even coating down inside the necks. All the way across and then i hit all four sides of the loading block and make. Sure that all the brass is evenly coated and not too overly coated so there’s a. There’s a key to making sure that there. Is just in the right amount of lube one there so hit all four sides down in the. Neck and once you’ve done all that it. Seems to work really well once you drop. It in the case feeder in the Dylan and right through the full-length sizing guide so that’s how we apply our horner do you want to show.

The workaday lock and load power case. Preparation center and i bought this. Think a few years ago and you know if. You use workaday tools they’re a good. Quality name but if you use them all exclusively like their shell holders and. Then this might work out for you this thing’s it’s not cheap i forget what i. Paid for it but when i found out is the way it holds the cases in here will zoom. In this is the thing that you put in. There you put the case in a holder there’s your power trimmer how works is. Inside this goes this part here which. Has like a shaft and a rubber washer in. Your case holder goes in there and then. What happens is when you turn this thing. Here it puts pressure on that piece and. Pushes the center out through the hole. And then that’s what holds the case this. Ride puts pressure on the back of the. Case and uses the shell holder well if you notice there’s a gap in this one here because this is a horn of a shell holder i didn’t now and then see you. Just slide the whole thing up in here together that holds the case i didn’t. Now that that quantity shall holders are different than standard ones i thought they were all the same they’re not the workaday holders have a larger. Hole in the center where if you try to. Stick a lead lineman or our cbs show. Holder in this it won’t work so i got. Pissed went and turned that spot down. Then see you going to shell older and. You turn that till you get pressure not. To hold this push down on the handle to your trim so. I turn it kind of works good it kind of doesn’t work good power trimmers are. Reload a lot of cases i have a lot of. Shall overs different brands like i said. Most of us probably got a lot of wheaties, and then they won’t work unless you modify that part then it doesn’t. Really work that good the only good. Think i like about this is why this is. Rubbing you have down in here you have. These little tools are constantly down. And you got spots we can add more you. Can clean out your primer pocket like. That and you’re going deeper a chamfer. On the inside with that tool these. Little chamber on outside the bathroom and your case prep ready to go you know. Like to get it running right if you. Don’t mind buying all workaday shell holders it does save time but really depending. On the volume you’re trimming your better off with a ally quick trim its. Cost you less money and it works pretty. Good you know it’s compared to this but I’m. Going to go and get the rest of these 6.5 carcano is done, and we’re going to. Rubber band it comes with three different ones are down a bullet i. Just pulled i set this bullet too deep. This is a factory bullet this is another. One plus it doesn’t have any primer or. Powder in it as you can see i set it too. Deep for myself so i need to pull it in. Get a new one and get it set correctly. So basically you make this little thingy. Here and the pain. You get it on there too holds it like that and then you unscrew this set the. Bullet right there screw this down real. Tight put it against a hard surface like this piece right here pop it bullets pops. Out if you got a powder in there and you. Now you need to do that you have to. Dump the powder into something so you can reuse it for myself i won’t lie i. Jacked up five of them i said one of. Then was too deep so you know if you’re. Looking to do some bullets that you need. To met pull part to reduce i suggest uh. Especially for a lot of re loaders it’s. An important freaking tool you’re gonna. All right so you messed up right. You got to pull some bullets so you’re gonna get your bullet polar this is a kinetic boat bullet puller this just so. Happens to be a frankfort arsenal this. Bullet polar does come with a collet and. But i don’t use the collet because it has an o-ring or something so what I’m gonna use and i learned this watching our late brother c-max video he uses or. He used a nine-millimeter she’ll plate. Whatever caliber bullet that you’re. Pulling he uses the shell holder so you. Take the shell holder stick it in the kinetic bullet puller hammer rather and. You’re gonna have to hit it on the hard surface to be honest when i first did. This i was like no i got a lot of bullets hitting it but you got to give it some way and not whack the camera but you got. To get some way and what’s gonna happen that bullet is gonna come out of that casing so I’ll probably say a couple of. Then a couple strikes we’ll get this one out actually did it on the first one you. Can see the bullet sit in the bottom so what I’ll do up the tape on line because the shell holder has a hole in the. Back of it so gunpowder is gonna be all. On the tape and not flying all over my. Workbench and because i don’t know what kind of gunpowder this is i will not. Reuse it I’ll set it there I’ll take my. Check it well. Ok so i will see anything in there now. I’m going to grab I’m going to put this. Shall aside so i don’t get it mixed up. Grab a brand-new primer i can put it on. My primer seater make sure you get it. The right way up see if my brand-new. Shelf like so push it down up to our. That you’re going to crush it but hard enough that you’re going to know i have a seated primer make sure it’s flush that. It’s not protruding you can use your Bearnaise on this if you want and then what I’m going to do angle here is gonna. Grab my. Photo grab my freshly loaded primer case on. The fire case which is basically these are federal premium unfixed brass that. I’m shooting just if you want to know it’s all 308 that I’m not shooting anyway so now i got my primer in there about everything all’s i do is i take the frankford arsenal bullet puller. And i check to make sure there’s no. Power left in the bullet puller pull out. The bullet a little bit of a tap. Sure all the powder goes down in there. Looks good. Then want to turn you around one more time. It’s about as real time as it gets i. Reinstalled my brass casing. I have to move this a sort of have to move this out a bit sorry wasn’t fully. Personally set up here hang on it’s. Going to have to set the camera aside. Bear with me alls I’m doing is I’m just making sure that my i think get there i. Have a mobile press here i know they’re. Not really supposed to be mobile but got to get it to the edge okay so go back up. Here. Hopefully this isn’t too washed out or. Whatever by the sun make sure you remove. Your bullet pull your primer cedar then. I’ve already got this jig set up for this bullet i push it in nice and gentle. But firm i pull it out outcomes. Perfection. And that’s how you use the frankfurt. Bullet now you’re saying your probably saying to yourself that these felt-tips you got to watch out for these felt-tips they do get a little distorted this time is not too bad because it only took two cranks but all the inertia that unseats the bullet is the same inertia. That’s going to go into that felt tip right so you might destroy a few these so these might not be your best round so primer brand-new unfixed never fired. Before casing bullet never fired before. Obviously this is a 155 brain a max now. I got one last step probably the most. Important i grabbed my calipers which i. Have set to for this bullet it was 2.8. 0.80 which is the max and this just. Comes in just a little under I’m okay with that’s perfect. This thing’s ready to fire the last. Think i would do especially if you’re the reason why I’m doing this these. Bullet puller they’re about 75 bucks just so you know i didn’t buy this i got. It with a deal with a bunch of stuff me and bob my shootin partner we trade back and forth for stuff all the time i don’t know how we do that, but we do that but for 75 bucks you know if you. Could save 75 rounds and pays for itself. If you’re on about a dollar around whatever you got i typically I’ve worked. It out my average is between 64 and 70. Will say seventy-eight cents or eighty. Cents a round is what I’m saving here. Because the reason why I’m doing this is. That the brass that was fired in my inner ankle in 14 the chamber’s massively huge on that thing that i was. Only getting anyway 325 reloads on. Average but i have a bunch of animal that’s six time it’s been fired. And that that casings are no better like the case I’m going to show you that i probably will be able to fire to get there getting too short not take the thing so it’s not even just the expansion of the case, but they also the casings are getting too short so enough that it would get away with my semi-auto to fire one more time but i can’t chamber those other rounds in my. Brand-new savage model 10 which has a really tight chamber so. These bullets will be fine i know these. Casings fit perfectly into that rightful. I should have no problems i will probably do a batch of maybe 10 or 20 test them out in case there are problems. My reloading dives they do wear out just so you know maybe they’re resizing the. Casings to not small enough anymore that’s a possibility i mean i have. Reloaded if you will you know 800 rounds or so with the 308 so you know things are going to wear out right so but anyway that’s how the frankford arsenal died setup works the i use i like using. And somebody else throw me the trick of the i saw it on the internet i saw it on. The internet of the trick of using your shoulder will it damage your shell holder i don’t know but it works so. We’ll see you don’t really have to whale. On this thing all you have to do with this thing is basically you know let the inertia take a whole but if you’re trying to hit it against a wood or like. A floor wooden floors oh man it gets there’s too. Much given there it has to be solid so a rock pounded against a rock if you don’t. Have a let’s say you’re in apartment all’s you have those wood floors hardwood floors way you don’t want to be pounding on the wood floor anyway because you’ll scratch it up but if you can find a concrete go in your driveway go in your garage you don’t have that. Fight find something solid get yourself a rock something that will have no gift and just you don’t have to put a lot of weight into it just let the inertia take it and that was two taps two tabs for tops if it doesn’t come after four tops it’s probably not going to go i haven’t. Tried the can you lure bullets yet good will be my next one now I’ll give you an update report on how it does with the canyon roads but anyway i got a bunch more to do that’s probably the quickest way to reload around because you’re not the measure of the powder of it you just up in it just make sure you got all the powder that’s that’s i guess where I’ll. End up with this is make sure you got all the powder that you don’t drop. Anything as far as the other shell casings and primers what am i going to. Do with those why I’m probably gonna lose about 10 15 bucks worth of primers because my primer i don’t want to i. Don’t want to reuse the primers i. Sure they’re probably going to be fine but you know they’re being at a time again around to them they’re going to be exposed to the air for a while so i. Don’t want to deal with that so i might lose about 10 bucks and progress have a little over 200 rounds to redo so good. Said the casings they’re on their last. Firing session anyway so i get to see if. The powder i get to save the bullet so i get to say the majority of the cost the casings i don’t really factor in the casings as much of the cost because the. Casing is really the only reusable part the primers are about you know three bucks or six bucks 100 so i might be. Losing 12 15 bucks in primers out of. Those to honor I’m willing to make that sacrifice it is a shameful loss of. Primers but not ridiculous you know it’s. Not worth the safety issue I’m sure some. Will do it but i won’t do it so it’s like once it’s been reloaded you know i. Fire it off if they can’t fire it off jump it’s not worth it to have the. Misfires and stuff like that so I’ll leave it at that next to that. This is the rcbs trim pro manual case. Trimmer kit the reason i chose this case. Trimmer over other case trimmers is i like the way that it clamps it has a. Spring-loaded clamp right here that you press down and it opens into the. Clamping device and then release in a. Clamps or bullet if you open it up you can change out these little case holders. And it comes with a set of those it also comes with a set of pilots what you. Would do is you would put the collet in it for your proper case and you would. Take a pilot from one of these down here and put it in here with a set screw for the size of the. Case that you’re going to use and then. Here you have two set screws one is. Slides back and forth for a rough adjustment and then the second one is on. A thread so you can fine-tune your adjustment in and out and that’s how you. Do the adjustments to it other than that. To load it you soap it up drop the show in release the clamp trim your case. Take it out drops in another case. Trim your case and drop in another one. As you can see it’s fairly quick you can. Work through something fairly quickly. One complaint that i do have is that it. Doesn’t come with the allen wrench and it doesn’t come with a place to put the allen wrench on the trimmer itself one. Feature i do like is here on the end there’s an allen wrench our allen screw on the end it holds the handle on you can take the handle off you can chuck a 1/2 inch drill on the end and you can use that instead of manually turning it. That i looked at this unit and i looked. At the hoard unit and i didn’t like the. Vertical aspect of the horn to unit I’m. Sure it’s okay i really wanted this horizontal platform so when i opened up. The box on my birthday october 18th i brought it down here i didn’t really do. Anything i built this little bench and then i knew exactly where i want it and how it was gonna set up right take it.
