They have compression fitted regular and loose. So I'm going to go ahead and show you each one of them. All these shirts are true neck sleeve shirts. They're not long-sleeve, they're not thermals or just through neck shirts with sleeves. If you look at the tag themselves there're different sizes. There's compression which is this shirt. That's what is highlighted in yellow fitted regular and loose. I have one of each right here.
So I'll go ahead and put them one for you. Depending on what type of shirt you're going to have a different size. So with compression. I'm an extra-large and fitted and regular on my medium and then loose. I'm a small so I'll go ahead and show you guys this now. And what to expect out of a fitment out of these shirts with a build like mine. I'm 5/8 out 160 7.6. My chest measured today 41 inches right at the belly button I'm 33 inches. And right at the waist where my underwear sits, I made 32.
I'll go ahead and show you the compression first and work our way down. Here's a compression hug in the chest. As you can see hugging the sleeves which is very important in my opinion. Here's a front, here's a side back. Then the other side. Obviously with the shirts being different styles on them being compression all the way to lose. The material is going to vary.
I'll tell you what this material is just the compression shirts themselves are made out of 84 percent polyester and 16 percent elastane. Very stretchy, very breathable. It's also got here in your pit area. It's got kind of mesh. It's perforated if you can see. It's perforated so you know a little more readability right here in the armpits. But overall you know very stretchy, very comfortable. If you're doing anything overhand the sleeves are going to stay put pretty much because of the elasticity. This shirt has shown there.
So here's the fitted this is a royal blue with lime green ex ha and the armpits. Also the under armour logo right in the front. The material for this is 100% polyester opposed to the elastic mix. That the compression one has again. This is more of a looser fit than the compression shirts are. We going to be hugging the hips. The sides are little more than this one. Here's the front view side back and the other side still hugging.
The sleeves and the chest which is what I want in a shirt. So that's the fitted. Now I'm going to go ahead and try on the regular, and then we'll move on to the loose. Here's the regular again like I said earlier I'm a medium in the fitted and also the regular but small in the loose. So here's the front view, side, view back and then the other side. Very nice and also the regular are made of a hundred percent polyester.
Now I'm going to go ahead and jump into the loose and show you that one all right. Now here's the loose fly small as I mentioned again still hug in the chest, hug in the sleeves. This is the loose so obviously the lower part of it is going to be a little more loose. Hence the name and these types of shirt there 100% polyester.
So basically the compression the only one that's made out of a combination of polyester. Any lasting the other three fitted regular and loose are all made out of polyester. Just different fitments that's all. Here's the front view side back.
Patagonia Houdini Pant - Men's
You know those runs where the sky is grey, the wind is whipping, and occasional drizzles threaten to turn into something more? The Patagonia Houdini Pant was made for those runs, and with its ultralight weight and easy packability it can come along on any run where you might want a little reassurance. Weighing a magically-low 3.8ounces, this wind- and water-resistant pant presents an easy solution to those times when it feels like you're choosing between being too hot or too cold. Its light yet strong recycled nylon ripstop blocks the wind, while a DWR coating ensures that light rain will bead off of your jacket as you zip along the trail. Easy to pull out in a flash when you need it, this pant stuffs into its own rear pocket, fits into even the smallest running pack, and even has a carabiner loop for easy storage on a pack or harness. An extended snap opening at the leg bottoms makes it easy to pull over your running shoes in a hurry, and a reflective rear logo boosts your visibility in low-light conditions.
- Weather-resistant pant for blustery mountain runs;
- Recycled nylon ripstop blocks the wind at hardly any weight;
- DWR coating offers protection from lighter rain;
- Pant stuffs down into its own rear pocket for easy packing;
- Extended snap leg closure pulls on easily over shoes;
- Stuffsack carabiner loop allows for multi-sport versatility;
- Item #PAT02TL.
They're ideal for climbers, backpackers or trail runners. Let's take a closer look at their fit and features. The pants are constructed of Patagonia's proprietary h2no fabric. It is a waterproof breathable fabrication. It's a. 30d nylon ripstop. There's a little bit of hybrid construction. The seat and back of the pants is actually a heavier more durable fabric. So in an area there where you're more likely to want need abrasion resistance. And just a bit more durability you get it in these pants.
Both fabrics do receive a DWR or a Durable Water Repellent finish, which further bumps up the protection that they deliver in nasty conditions. The pants have what Patagonia would consider a regular fit. There's a roominess in here. An expectation that you're likely wearing them over top of another pair of pants or other layers at them. You've got elastic throughout. So some nice stretch. There's also a drawstring closure to cinch that in tight at the cuffs lower on the leg.
You can see that there's elasticity. There's also a snap closure so there's single position there or unsnap it. You can really draw those pants in more tightly. A more snug fit at the bottom of the pants. You do also have articulated knees on these pants. So they move with you. You can wear these aerobically if you were running, climbing, hiking without any restrictive.
As far as pocketing is concerned you've got a really streamlined design to these pants. The only pocket you have is here on the right side a small zippered pocket. Certainly, you can keep some essentials close at hand but the other key role that serves as if it doubles as a stuff sack for the pants. Makes it real easy to throw them inside a pack again. Just one of the features here that makes the Patagonia men's alpine Houdini pants so ideal for backpacking, for climbing or trailer.
tipping the scale at just 3.8 ounces Houdini pants are a featherweight windproof weather resistant emergency. Layer engineered to fit both men and women made with a deceptively strong and. Resource saving 100% recycled nylon ripstop fabric with a durable water repellent finish that sheds light moisture Houdini's can be worn over base layers and light mid layers their wide waistband folds over to better accommodate genders a snap pocket secure. Small essentials and serves as a stuff sack equipped with a reinforced carabiner clip-in loop when conditions warrant cuffs feature a generous opening for easy on off with shoes for snapping. Down over your ankles to seal out the elements designed for trail running but equally useful for all sorts of pursuits you won't even know you brought along your Houdini pants until you need them.

Hi this is tyler with trail for two and today I'm going to be doing a quick review on the patagonia Houdini wind. Shirt so I've actually had this jacket for a little while now but i wanted to give it a good test out in the field and. Really make sure that the information i was giving you and my reviews and opinions were based on actual field experience and not just my initial thoughts of it after opening it from the. Package that i ever seemed it in so as. You see here it is quite a small package on just only a couple inches tall by need four or five inches long here this. Is actually stuffed into its own chest pocket so this is the extent of the. Pocket you see here to that there's a. Little tab if you wanted to attach it to a pack with a carabiner by some other. Method so it is pretty compact nice. Little package here i know that a few other wind shirts the pocket is larger. So when you stuff it into it doesn't come back down into such a small space. And it's kind of freely moving around i. Will say that it is a little bit of a wrestling match to try to get it in here. And it is a little bit tricky to close. It up i have found though that if you. Unzip the zipper first it makes it. Slightly easier to get it in but it is. Still, a little bit rough to squeeze it. In here so before we get started I'll go. Ahead and weigh it so you have a feel. For what we're looking at so according. To my scale here i have a man's size. Small and it weighs three point four. Nine ounces so it is a pretty lightweight option it is a very thin. Material it's by no means the lightest. Wind shirt that there is out there and but it's also not the heaviest there are. Quite a few that are heavier than this but i would say that it does kind of fall into the mid-range as far as weight goes, so we'll go ahead and take a look at it so open it up. Like i said this is the chest pocket. And that is the one and only pocket so. That might be a drawback for you if you're looking for some storage space this jacket definitely does not have it. It is very minimalistic has very few. Features which is partly why i like it. It's very simple so here as you see it. Is a full length zipper which is nice. You don't have to pull it on over your head but it is a full length zipper just. Kind of interesting to that it's not light even with the full length zipper so on a couple different features that i. Want to talk about here first of all start with on the cuff so if you take a. Look at the cuff the top is just a normal stitch but underneath about half. Of the wrist is elastic so I'd know if. They did that to cut down on weight or whatever but it's kind of nice because the top will stay flat to your wrist and. So if there is any water or anything that rolls off or beans off it's not dealing with you know this wrinkled. Material but it does stay pretty flat to. Your wrist and then also if you're needing to pull. Up your sleeves at all that elastic on the bottom really keeps a snug fit and. Again on that top part is very flat. Against your arm so any moisture can run. Off if you needed to pull up your sleeve like that and it does a nice job it stays pretty secure pretty snug so. That's one feature that's kind of nice. Having that available so taking a look at the jacket here like i said it is a full length zipper this is a man's size. Small like i said so if you take a look. It does zip up pretty high that's. Actually a feature that i really like it really keeps you warm and it really does. What its name says it is a wind shirt and it does job of keeping out the wind and keeping. You really warm so that added height to. The zipper really encloses everything so. That's pretty nice and again like i said the chest pocket is really only about this big right here so that's not very. Substantial again there are not any side. Pockets here but that's something you. May want to think about so the really. The selling point that pushed me in the. Direction of this jacket was the fit of. The hood and it's cinch capabilities so. There are other jackets out there that have these you know hoods that are. Able to cinch down but i did quite a bit of research before and i went to. Different stores try them all on went online looked at different reviews. Watched youtube videos and it all came. Down to really me liking the features of. This jacket the best I'll go ahead and. Show you the hood it is a pretty snug. Fit to begin with which is pretty nice even with it not zipped up all the way. You know it conforms to your head and. Stays on it's a really nice fit and when. You zip this up all the way really the only thing exposed is just your face. Right here so in those conditions where it is windy or even if you get caught in a light rain and that's something that is really nice to have also there is in. The back here if you can see it there's. A little pull tab that you're able to cinch you down the hood even further so. If you cinch that down really it's basically cinches right here. All the way back and so it's really just. Kind of brings it all in right on your. Head and really conforms to your head and that's part of the reason i like this too is that there are other jackets out there where the hood is not very movable meaning that when you move your head that kind of stays in the forward direction in your head moves sideways but this does a really nice job. Of keeping with your head so if you're. Really active running or doing anything. Like that this does a really nice job of keeping. Up with that so primarily i use this. Jacket up in the mountains and I'm hiking and when i go out on lakes flag. Fishing up in the mountains even if it's. A sunny day and it's pretty warm the wind can get pretty chilly and so this is something nice to have to take out on. The water with me also just to provide that extra layer of protection it. Actually is a really good layer of sun. Protection also sometimes even if it's. Warm while i was throw this on to have that action that extra layer just because it is so thin in fact you can. Probably see through the material here. It is very thin you can see my hand behind it but um it is very lightweight. Which is a good thing it lives up to its. Name of a wind shirt and if you throw on. Another layer under this shirt it really does an extra nice job of insulating you. From the elements i have worn this in a. Light rain and it did a really nice job the water beated up rolled right off i. Had no problem i wasn't wet or clammy underneath it all but i definitely would. Not recommend substituting this jacket. For a real rain jacket if you were to. Come upon any real rain conditions but. If you know you get caught in between some weather unexpected weather this is. Definitely a good item to have with you even if you're just going on a day hike or not really expecting any sort of weather this is a great option to have so i definitely recommend the patagonia. Houdini if you're looking into a lightweight wind shirt and it doesn't have a lot of features as far as storage goes but what kind of pushed me. In the direction of this jacket was its. Capability here with the hood and the. Of the hood so something else to that. I'll do is I'll I'll wear a hat and then put the hood over it and that cinching capability really helps to snug it all. In on your head I'm also same kind of idea of the wrist. Being flat on the front and then it's cinching in the back or having the. Elastic on the back half on the front of. Your jacket here so the front there's not any elastic here at all but there is. A shock cord here that runs from. Basically here all the way around the back to this side so it cinches in the. Back and keeps the front flat so that's. Something nice too is you don't get this awkward bunched jacket in the front but. Pretty much everything in the front stays flat and conforms to your body so. That's something that's nice too so definitely look at the patagonia Houdini. If it's something you're looking into our highly recommend. Oh.
Hi I'm jessie anderson from red foxx outfitters I'm here to talk about the Houdini jacket and pullover today one of. My favorite parts about working in the outdoor a specialty industry now is seeing how some really great products that were designed for outdoor use translate into my own running so in the. Past I've mostly dealt with running brands and it's been great to get into brands like patagonia environment and see some of the things they have designed for the elements which also served really well for Michigan running especially in the winter examples they're trail shoes that are out there that are a little more aggressive that were made in the snow but today i want to talk about the Houdini because this thing is a lifesaver for me last winter i did not have one and i realized after i got one i could have used it thirty to fifty times depending on the weather basically what it is a. Very thin shell it's a two point four rip stop nylon it has a dwr treatment in. It so if you get caught out in a rain shower it can wick away a lot of rain it does soak through if you're in a pouring you know gale strim but generally it's great. Protection from the elements but the big thing when it comes to the winter is it is great with the wind so this morning i ran in this pullover i started against the wind it blocked the wind going out but then that 2.49 line doesn't overheat me on the way back when I'm running with the wind there's anyone that runs through the winter knows that could be pretty brutal as you deal with the elements going back and forth if it things do warm up on you cuz. We live in Michigan and those things happen you know the weather in fifteen minutes may be way different than when the runs started it's so light and. Packable it packs down into its own pocket this version is actually the hooded zip up version and it packs into this the pullover that I'm wearing is on the hanger behind me actually packs down. Slightly smaller so I've been in workouts and more of the fall in the spring where i start and i need this guy to protect against the wind but it was i get warmed up i can pop it off usually carry it in my hand if you have a stash pocket somewhere fits in their very well i actually if. When it comes to running prefer the pullover version because it doesn't have a hood the hooded version is great i like having the full zip but the hood. Doesn't roll up that great so when you get going in the wind it can kind of cause it creates a noise and everything but overall this is one of the lightest. Weight performance pieces you can have I'd recommend it in running weather down to 25 degrees playing out faster moving which depending on the winter can be a lot of days out there so yeah if you. Haven't tried it out yet try the Houdini jacket it's $99 89 for the pullover that. I'm wearing comes in a variety of colors and it's available at red fox outfitters thanks a lot for watching and make sure to subscribe to our youtube channel.
Everybody jonathan gimme calm here and I'm just gonna bring to light on my favorite piece is a kit it's a classic and always comes with me and it's actually in my pocket right now it is the patagonia Houdini jacket gets name. Houdini because it can get into pretty tight spaces and it packs into his own chest pocket it's just a wind jacket. Nothing special but man oh man is this. Thing get used it has a dwr coat coating. On it so it will you know shed some rain. Or snow but it's no means waterproof. Although there is a waterproof version and it's just a very simple wind jacket. Here's a chest pocket right here this whole jack will easily stuff into that there's a little loop on here so you put onto a carabiner on your harness or a backpack this is an extra large it fits. Me very well and last esaias cusp which. Is always nice just a nice basic hood. Very thin fabric slight bit mechanical. Stretch to it for how thin it is of. Course I'm always concerned about how durable will be after two seasons of use lots of use I've only had a patch up one. Little hole right here some tenacious tape just super easy to do so comes in. Put it non hooded and even a pullover an. Rack style and there is a waterproof version as well we'll have links on all those below this is the patagonia eenie jacket there it is. Hopefully found it helpful and essential. Kit in our in garment arsenal sean Sullivan calm take care.
A super light and minimal piece for the trail runner the patagonia men's Houdini. Pants is an excellent option for helping. To cut any harsh winds when you're out for a run let's take a look at their features these pants are constructed with a super light 15 d 100% nylon. Material so that is a rip stop nylon. Material it's just a single layer it's nice and lightweight weighs in at about. Three ounces for the pants so super light material is in play we do. Have a dwr finish on the pant so it will shed a light rain but it's not waterproof so keep that in mind when. Picking up the Houdini pants we don't. Have many features in play but there are a few that i want to call out we do have an elastic waistband with a draw cord so you can certainly get a nice comfortable fit and if it's a little loose you can tie it down and make sure it's nice and tight for you we do have a single pocket. On the thigh or hip region and you can. Stow some small items there whether it's chapstick a gel maybe a key if you need. To and it also stuffs into that pocket. So you can get a really nice compact pack size with these pants. By stuffing them into that pocket so self stowing pocket is really nice down. Around the i guess cuffs of the pant. Or around the ankle portion we do have a nice snap opening so you can get a nice. Easy on easy off system with the Houdini. Pants so really nice snaps down at the bottom that allow that ease of putting. Then on or taking them off so nice features in play with the pant the fit. Is fairly slim wearing a medium here, and they are pretty tight-fitting you could see them being a good layering piece if you tend to layer minimally but if you do want to put a thicker layer underneath consider sizing up we do have. Articulated knees with the pants, so they do allow for good freedom of movement again with trail went running in mind or. Fast and light pursuits you do want some. Freedom of movement with the pants and there you have it super light and super fast at the patagonia men's Houdini. Pants are an excellent option for those. Ultra light and minimal trail runs.

We are reviewing new lightweight trail shoe that mt2 eight and a half ounces in the men's nine. It`s really lightweight, some good flex. What you guys are really doing design wise is still a good tight fit in the heel and the instep. But doing much more of an anatomical slightly wider toe box.
Really, how the foots actually shape? I think that's really one of the unique things about the MT two is that I like to have a roomy toe box. Your toes can spread and splay but a lot of times in a shoe like that. You have a shoe that fits a little sloppy in the back. The level of security to feel fast and nimble. I think you still need to feel really connected in the back half and through the waist. The shoe so I like that sensation that puts tight security through here but lots of room up front for your toes. Better sense of control. I was blown away by how light this is.
He's dog great trail tread can handle couple miles of road no problem but really good grip underfoot. But it was really to me like how light this loves. Specially the level of cushioning: 23 millimeters in the heel, 20 in the forefoot. So you're doing a little bit of moss. That's three millimeters you're not completely stuck into a zero drop and you're right building.
You know also about traditional shoes and the 12 millimeter right. Everything for us is really between that zero and five millimeters. That's where we have put everything so this kind of falls in the middle of that is a three millimeter cool and you guys have a full range of shoes. I'm kind of at the other end of the spectrum. You have something definitely more protective. So this is a shoe, so the one we were looking at was the m22. This is a shoe called the Hydro Venture. It has some similar characteristics so again some kind of platform 23:20. But in this case you can see inside here that it's got a rock plate. Actually molded into the midsole the rock plate itself. Sorry to slide out a frame. That is really cool the rock plate itself has a flex screw here. Molded tpu like material through here. So you don't have rocks or roots x-raying up through the sole. We open it up in the mid foot. So you have a little bit of torsional flex. It doesn't force you to roll an ankle or twist, doesn't add a lot of weight. This shoe still comes in at about nine ounces.
One of the key characteristics in this shoe. This is a waterproof shoe. We use a vent waterproof membrane here. The membrane is actually laminated directly to the mesh. So unlike some waterproof shoes, you'd build a full bootie. And you cement that bootie to. The effort can make it a little hard well, in this case.
The upper is actually quite supple and soft. So it allows the foot to still move and work in a natural way well. It also makes the shoe lighter. So again coming in at just barely over nine ounces. An issue for a shoe that has a rock plate waterproof technology with the same fit characteristics you described in the MT.
Suggested retail in one thirty on the water place. That's what I was also surprised with was the price. Point is so competitive a hundred dollars — I think like in our store. I think that's going to be one of our least expensive shoes and but as well. Probably the best value probably expected live with a huge outdoors.
I hope so you know I think there are ways that you can make shoes and deliver a great value without always having to have some shoes. Require higher price points are because there's so much there but I think that our responsibility is to make sure. We deliver a variety of price points and that you always have a shoe that's an entry level shoe that helps people get into the sport and then as they progress then they can work their way up the ladder enjoy running.

Hey guys what's going on today I'm going. To be reviewing the topo athletic ultra. Ventures this shoe is pretty fantastic. If i had one way of describing this shoe. I would have to say that it is the love. Child of a an ultra and a hoca it does. Come in at ten point four ounces so it. Might be slightly on the heavier side even though ten point four ounces is. Pretty stinking light there is a five. Millimeter heel to toe drop so you're starting off at thirty in the back twenty-five in the front and that's where i would say it's kind of emulate soar resembles a hookah but it does have. That traditional foot shaped or wider. Then normal toe box and tomiko toe box keeping that great toe and alignment. Letting that kind of be your anchor point for your foot and letting the other toes splay out in here this shoe i. Really can't speak too much on anything. Bad about this shoe i haven't had a bad. Experience and it this particular pair has 310 miles on it and then i have a. Brand new pair over here which I'd be. Hard-pressed at any point in time of my life to buy another pair of the exact. Some shoe and the exact same color so. Anyway that should tell you something this shoe has gotten me through a lot of. Long runs i kind of got the shoe to try. Out for a training cycle for double. Dalek ultras unfortunately i got really cold in the race and so anyway i made it. 100k out of 100 miles but it had nothing to. Do with the shoe it's very money on the trails that day very cold very wet the shoe outperform. Itself it comes with a v boom as you can. See with bieber marketing they're gonna tell you that it's a v room again with a v berm outsole this is the xs trek not. The magna grip or maggot grip that comes. On the speed goats the hoko speed goats but be advised that the maggot grip is going to be coming out on the a new pair. Of toe bones anyway the waterproof toe pose that are gonna be coming out next year or 2019. Look for the hydro ventures anyway look. For those coming up these have a new. Improved upper there's a couple different overlays let me show you on the cleaner pair a couple different overlays on here they're actually more. Than one piece the toe bumper is separate from this overlay giving you a little bit more protection the upper is. Actually a new printed mesh or new type. Of mesh anyway so you're getting a little bit tighter mesh up here in the front keeping out some of the debris and. Then a little more open mesh more tour. Of the metatarsals give me a little bit more airflow and breath ability maybe a. Little more drainage new feature also and a bunch of the new trousers it's gonna be these gills alright they're. Basically drainage ports so whenever you. Get water in your shoe every step from that point I'm gonna act kind of like you're forcing the water. Our kind of pumping the water out of your shoe with your own steps i have. Noticed i have gotten these shoes very wet have noticed that they do drain. Really well and also the new upper as. Well as this has given the shoe a more. Comfortable temperature anyway some. People have complained about taupe was being very warm this shoe especially. With the new porthole insole I'm. Getting a little worth of light marketing in there with the new. Porthole insole has actually become a lot more. Comfortable temperature-wise i did get the shoe right when the weather was changing so it was still kind of warm and it's felt fine through coming up. Here now in the 30s all right not too. Cold here in virginia anyway there is a. Gator attachment in the back so it's kind of weird looking topo brandied. Gator attachment here got hook little. Places for the hooks and I'll show you. With the gators on these so I've got. These hooks that kind of walk in there and then the gator like a normal gator. Pulls over and it attaches too wherever. You need in the front it's a lot easier than this when you have one anyway so there you go. With the gator attachment and that is a. Topo branded gator attachment these would work with any other type of gators you would just have to do your traditional velcro and i actually did so. In velcro on these so i could use them on the magnifies are the magnet flies. Twos anyway alright. The tongue is fully gusseted I'll show you on the other pair that son just. Fully gusseted meaning it is sewn in and. So that prevents a lot of the sliding around of the tongue and bunching and. Creating hot spots and i really haven't noticed any hot spots in this shoe the. Upper is three pieces sorry i think already said that but anyway the eba. Upper or sole is three pieces you've got. Kind of little bit firmer sole here or. Aba here a little bit softer in the back and even though this would traditionally. Mean that this is a stability shoe or a guidance shoe this piece is still just. Maybe a hair firmer than up here and i. Have a neutral foot and this i haven't felt like there's any guidance or anything like that this shoe again is called the ultra venture meaning it's out it's going to. Be marketed towards someone who's going. To be out there maybe more on an ultra run or ultra marathon and when they're. Fatigued their foot kind of hits the. Ground a little bit differently so it's kind of it might give you a little bit of guidance but not enough to where it's gonna throw off your gait i have like i. Said 310 miles in this pair of shoe and so normal wear and tear i did really. Really try to destroy this pair I've got. A little wear back here I've got a. Little wear right here where there's a. Couple like a couple holes for me but this is about the time when I'd be retiring a pair of shoes anyway and for a trail pair that i literally beat the heck out of it's surpassed a lot of my. Expectations i don't normally run in a five. Millimeter drop i don't know why i just didn't say this earlier but this she. Doesn't really feel like a five millimeter drop it's taken a lot of stress off my Achilles because it is a. Five millimeter but at the same time there's enough cushioning in it to where it almost feels zero ish drop I'm not. Gonna say it does because i don't want to give you the impression that it is a. Zero drop or it would crush down to being a zero drop like the heel would be that soft but it does kind of. Feel like it hooks on to your foot a little bit better than a lot of other shoes out there is enough cushion here in the back to give you a nice heel. Cup and kind of lock your heel down in there now i would give it you know a. Couple strides out there to let it adjust before you tighten it down anymore if you did feel a little heel slipping one other thing i really wanted. To point out there is no rock plate in here and there are a couple cutouts to give it a little bit more flexibility but if you do step on something that. Sharp there's enough cushion in here that's gonna give you that protection and you might feel it but it's not gonna hurt you're too much to the point where you get like a stone bruise i have stepped on very sharp things and how it. Had any issues and then one thing that i really enjoyed about this shoe was with this aggressive outsole i stepped on a. Couple routes this way and had i not had. This type of little slightly you know. More aggressive outsole that they've been putting on the new trail line for. Toboe anyway i might have slipped off. That but that route but i actually kind of caught it and so i was able to prevent some foot rolling because of that it did take me a little bit of time to get used to if you're not traditionally used to running in a more. Aggressive outsole because there's just slightly more clearance underfoot so. You're getting the 25 and 30 but then. You have an additional maybe 5 millimeters here and i have run on this. On-road a few times i haven't felt the grip so i feel like. That there's enough cushion in there to that you do run over pebbles or whatnot you're really not gonna feel those so that's that should be a good sign anyway and try not to be too long-winded on this but this is a great shoe i highly suggest it guys got any questions pop them down in their bottom you want. To try the shoe out you want to try another topo out go ahead leave a. Comment i might have a discount code for you if you like this video give it a thumbs up and hope to see you guys soon. Have a great day.
A hikers and runners i wanted to share. My experience with my topo terra venture. Trail runners i guess they are I'm not really a trail runner I'm more of a hiker but i had a problem with finding. Shoes that had a wide enough toe box for. My wide foot and i tried on all the. Major brands at rei and this is the one. That i found that fit me the best for a wide foot i was a former brookes. Cascadia wearer but the last i don't. No 4 or 5 models of brookes I've been. Unable to wear because the toe box is too narrow so these are a little cut. Shoe they allow your ankle to flex naturally they're lightweight they weigh. About 10 ounces they're ventilated they. Have a nice full mesh upper with some. Reinforcing that's printed on there versus laminated so not a lot to come. Apart here's a little demonstration of. The grip of these terra ventures. They have a minimal heel to toe drop i. Believe it's three millimeters so it feels it's got a natural feel to it. They've been around for about only a. Year or two toni post was the founder of. These he also worked with vibram so he. Knows a lot about the soul has an aggressive lug to it lug pattern they. Have a foot plate yet they're still soft. Enough where you can feel the trail and you get a good round feel there are. Pretty good value these are i got them on sale at rei I've got used my 20% off. But i think they're 100 or a hundred ten bucks full price so pretty good value comparable to the ultra lone peak so. They really do have good traction they're lightweight I've got them paired. With my dirty girl gaiters. You. I've had him up the mountain behind me which is golden gate mountain here in the desert in tucson that's about a 1700. Foot elevation getting to thinking they. Worked great on that and it's there was some good scrambling and actually some wall climbing up there that we had to do so that was fun they worked great for that they work great for trail like i said they're a good shoe if you've got a wide foot give em a try.
