Just to demonstrate how this little guy works so there’s two ways you can charge this you. It comes with like a USB charger that you can plug in right here right and it just charges it up or this bottom part here, if you just unscrew this, like so like this, you can put the batteries in the bottom, like that. The cool thing about this Lantern I have to say is the magnetic free little magnetic pull little things at the bottom press. This button here that just lights up the very bright I have to say so that acts as like just a regular flashlight, just hold it like that as you’re walking around like so you’ve also got the beaten back so like if you’re pulled up on the side of the road or you know, if there’s a hazard in any way, you can let people know, and then you got.
You know the slow flashing light like that. Lift these side panels up here like this, like so alright, see that and all you do, is you just pull up like this until it clicks? And that’s this? That’s the lower intensity of the light. Now this Lantern is super bright, so you just raise her up. Even so, that’s it.
Toss your flimsy gas station lighters in the garbage where they belong, and make way for the flameless innovation that is the TG Plasma Lighter. “A flameless lighter? Not possible,” non-believers will say. We can assure you it is. And no, it’s not devil’s magic, it’s just plain science. This handy tool uses an electric dual-arc to set flammable objects ablaze better than any other. Unlike flames that easily blow out, this technology allows it to operate despite harsh winds and heavy rain. A durable waterproof casing adds to its ability to withstand adverse weather. With one full charge via the included USB cable, you’re set for 300 uses. So, charge it up and incorporate it into your EDC. Whether you’re on a smoke break, or braving the great outdoors, the TG Plasma Lighter will prove itself indispensable.
What’s happening, payin in asia, peter a little overnighter out in this beautiful country, but I’m losing light and the rain came down and I need some fire. Now, I probably didn’t plan this really well and set up in a perfect spot and everything that I found here, you know been picking up some wood to light my fire because I want to get a fire going before I lose all the light, as well as heat up some food and boil some water, but I did bring along this and it is pyro putty and it is basically a fire starter that hopefully, I can kind of mold with my fingers and then light with my pack of waterproof matches here and get a fire going with some pretty heavy stick, because I haven’t found a lot of the small stuff and so I’m hoping it burns long enough to get some of this going because this is about all I have and it’s all a little bit damp.
So, let’s give it a try all right guys where I’m at right now things are pretty wet. I feel a little worried about anything certain on fire to begin with, but like I said, I did find some sticks here and break them up a little bit and see if we can use some putty to get some stuff going. Not only did I bring the putty, but I left it in its paper, so I’m gonna actually use that as a little kindling too. So we’ll be burning. That thing, but here is the pyro.
Putty comes in this little tin looks like it’s a screw down top here, and here is the putty itself and I’ve never checked this stuff out or used it before does have a little bit of the consistency of play, dough I’m, not sure exactly how flammable I’m definitely getting a little bit it’s a little waxy is what it kind of feels like on my finger so I’m, hoping that when I light it I don’t set myself on fire and I’m. Gonna use a pretty generous amount of this because, like I said, I’m gonna have one shot really to bring this thing to a flame, so I’m gonna actually take about Oh.
Take about half of it! Why not just get the fire going now, I, don’t know it’s it’s kind of like flammable gel and it feels like it is like cotton balls soaked in it. It’s kind of what it look it’s got now. If you want it I’m, assuming, maybe you could kind of open it up a little bit and set this whole little tin on, but I’m gonna save a little bit of it, and hopefully this is enough. So I’ve got this and I’m not sure if you’re supposed to kind of turn it into a wick or anything, no kind of spread it out a little bit here and make sure that it’s got enough surface area to catch on fire and yeah.
The bugs are starting to annoy me out here, but I’m, just gonna go ahead and put it down here on some pinecones and some loose wood, just like that and I’m gonna put so those would have been picking up along the way just go over it and see what it does so smaller branches here to that hopefully take a flame. So there it is now I’m, just gonna. Go ahead and grab my matches here: nothing! Fancy gonna wish I had a lighter, just cuz, it’s a little breezy out here.
Does they have problems with these waterproof matches? There we go see how quickly it lights up so that other match there caught fire, – and it seems -, doesn’t seem to like instantaneously. Take the flame but kind of like a candle. Wick just takes a minute to catch. It. I stopped the paper here, so I didn’t even thrown that in there the box still light it up, but that looks pretty good and obviously it didn’t erupt and fire so much so my fingers caught on fire because I still have a little bit of that wax enos on the ends of my fingers.
So gonna be careful, be careful with that, but there it goes man all right and I can hear the wood crackling as it’s kind of drying out this wood. So hopefully that’ll burn a little while kind of let it run here and see what it does. But Luca said everything out: here is a little bit wet and this is gonna make a huge difference as opposed to trying to find a lot of dry small stuff to light up, so I could probably optimize this a little bit and get to stuff, so cool looks like I will be eating tonight.
Staying warm and maybe not coyote food. Of course, I didn’t come out here without forth protection either, but this is gonna make it a much more comfortable. A much drier night mmm smell of burning wood is awesome. All right check it out. Pyro putty so far, I’m pretty impressed with this. It didn’t let me down here, while I’m out in the wilderness, I’ll put a link to in the description, Peter Vaughn panda out you.
