The Gerber L.S.T. is the smoothest of operators. With a mechanical action that just feels good and satisfying when you open and close the blade, which happens to be made of 400 series stainless steel. The heaviest of the four legendary L.S.T. models musters a mere 1.2 ounces on the scales. Yet, when you feel that easy grip, there’s no question that Pete Gerber’s big idea is one for the ages.

Folding knife: it’s one of it’s supposed to be one of the lightest knives that a person can carry great for backpacking great for putting in your pocket. It is a locking blade, it does lock. I mean literally the handle feels like plastic Portland, Oregon gege. It feels somewhat sharp, but it could be sharper in this button. Here it doesn’t lock when you close it though, but it is pretty, it is pretty stiff. I can’t see that opening and there’s a lanyard hold there.

So what’s this actually way that they’re bragging that it’s so ultralight, whoa? Okay, let’s see what this little knife ways: wow I, don’t know if you guys can see that but 0 6 ounces. Well, you can’t get much lighter than that. Really that’s good enough for whittling! The stick here: cutting an apple and orange whatever you’re, not gonna, use it to process wood or anything, but do a little Whittle them give me my Ferro rod. It’s inside my knife, I’m kind of curious about the back end here, because there’s no jumping or anything and I’m wondering if it’s 90 degrees so could I hit this back end with a Ferro rod.

It’s what I’m kind of curious about! That’s what I’m actually gonna try here. Oh yeah, that works yeah. You could use the back into this too, on a Ferro rod and I, don’t see any any any marks or any digs or anything inside the middle. So there you have it. There is the Gerber LST, ultra lightweight knife, with a fine edge and I, have a link on the bottom and I might add. It’s actually super super affordable. If you’re looking for something small to tuck away in your backpack or your pocket, at any rate,.

Hey what’s up everyone, the cheat on gonna do a review on this Gerber LSD ultra Lite 200. This is a smaller version of the Gerber LST ultra Lite. So let’s get in some of the specs. It has a blade length of 1 and 1/2 inches has a closed length of 2 inches and it has an overall length of 3 and 1/2 inches. The overall weight is only like half an ounce, so it’s really really lightweight knife small knife that will easily fit in your pocket or on a keychain.

The blade itself is a drop-point blade made out 420hc stainless steel. So this is a higher carbon 420 stainless steel, so it can have it has a higher hardness and therefore it doesn’t dull as quickly as your standard 420 stainless steel. It is easier to resharpen than the 440 stainless steel it does. The handle itself is made out of a plastic I believe it is a Delrin type plastic, but it’s a tough little plastic material that just feels quality hard, good quality plastic material.

It does also have a little hole here that you could add a keychain ring to it and there’s no nil mark on the knife, which is kind of a downside to this. It is a small knife, so you want necessarily expect an L mark, so you just have to use your fingers to open it up and it is a lock back knife, so just clicks right into place close it open it up, clicks right in place all and lock up good, lock up.

Overall, it’s a good quality knife, not one I’m, a huge fan of personally. If I’m gonna have a small knife time, gonna carry with me every day for opening letters or cutting rope. I’m gonna go with the cold steel micro, recon 110 to a point blade. That’s my go-to everyday carry knife and it’s only $20. So if you’re choosing between for looking for a small knife, that’s what I recommend would.

But if you like Gerber and you like having several different types of knives- and this is a good quality one to look into as well thanks everyone for watching this video. If you liked it, please subscribe down below leave me a comment. I’m gonna be coming out with me. More knife review videos thanks. Everyone remember life is good when your knife is good thanks, guys.

It’s the completion piece of my little 3-piece micro, EDC setup that the aimless for it’s all just fit in the watch, pocket v, socket and a pair of standard jeans in combination with pre-owned one rather than square PS or ES Forum, which are Berkley like carrying that thing, and it does very well honest job. The whole kit waves, 100 grams, all together this knife weighs 16 grams.

Is the lightest piece of the kit by far and I’m very, very impressed with the fit and finish is really high. I thought it’d be a little bit junky being such a cheap knife, I think you’re doing about ten dollars in America. It’s about twenty dollars here in Australia. It is really really small. It’s a steel is 420hc, which is fine for such a small little knife, stainless steel that won’t rust or corrode very easily, and it’s easy enough to sharpen that it’s kind of got that stone wash or matte finish.

The Gerber puts on their nerves. Lately, I love how it’s not got the serrations, because another possibility was a little bear. Grylls compacts gala, which is good but I, don’t live stations with such a small knife. I am it’s kind of pointless I think you need the most blade real estate. You get it’s made in America, it’s so one of the Portland Gerber’s. You ever seems to still make it’s big original knives in America, so it makes it’s all ones that that’s been sewing for a long time.

So the LST in the ultralight, LST, the LMF survival knives, the MP, 600 multipliers and I think the MP 1 as well MBA. They seem to still make this sort of legacy blades in America, which is I, guess call for American employment and labor, and it’s got a very comfortable for what it is plastic handle. You see, it’s got some. It’s got some rough kind of texturing on the side there, where some and your side of your index finger pinch, and then it’s got this flaring out here, which, although I’m, not quite sure how it’s supposed to fit in the hand it does fit comfortably.

It’s obviously done with a within 10 with a purpose, a very positive locked up, and it’s got a bit of a half stop there. So you slide it back, stops this and then the spring takes it back in and push it further. So a bit of a safety feature there as well. This is a great little knife and it’s come quite sharps. The bevel is quite good. I’ve had a few Gerber’s where it’s sort of half this is this.

The even bevel Arlene is too shiny bit there I’ve had to gave us where the bevel goes a lot higher on one side than the other, but this one’s pretty much even which is good. The scales don’t have any saving or anything on them all very smooth. It’s got a little lanyard hole. There’s no poppers clip, there’s no thumb, no Nick. Even you just have to grab the blade and open up.

So it is about the most legal mass you could ever find. It’s so tiny that you’d surely not have any problems carrying this I’ll just show you how my little kit works in my watch pocket. Let me have it give LST leather on sweat, yes, cool and pre-owned p1. So that’s really all be easy to EDC tools. You might need on a day-by-day basis without expecting to be doing anything too hardcore all in the watch pocket event.

I often get frustrated back when I have something here on my pocket like a larger pocket or folder I always get a bit annoyed moving past it to get the things above, my pocket, because it’s in the coin pocket a lot of these interstitial past very good. So I am really happy with again the LST I didn’t think I would be as an avid buy it, but the Sony about it just isn’t very seems to just very high quality, very practical in just no frills, and they know excessiveness on it and all very, very basic and I like that.

I wholeheartedly recommend you pick one up thanks very much for watching, see you then.

Manny here again today, we’re gonna be talking about this Gerber LST ultralight. So let’s get into some of the specs here. It has a blade length of 2 inches. It has a closed length of 2, 6, 5 inches and the overall length is four point: six five inches. It has a weight of only one point, two ounces. So this is a nice lightweight knife that’ll feel very good in your pocket.

The blade itself is made out of a is a drop-point blade made out 420hc stainless steel. So this is a much better quality steel than just the standard. 420 standard for 20 is relatively soft and Dahl’s, rather quickly, not very quality steel, but it will high HD stands for high carbon and it so this means it can be temper. It can have a higher, has a higher hardness and is a much better quality steel and is easier to resharpen than the standard 440 stainless steel.

The handle itself is made out of a plastic I believe is made out of a Delrin plastic, so it feels like a quality’s. Tough plastic does a good job. It does also have a lanyard hole back here. If you can see that, so you can add a little lanyard or a keyring on to it, and it is a lock, lock back knife with the lock plate, so it just closes and then locks right up and clicks into place very securely.

Overall, this knife does a good job and is very quality made made by Gerber, so go check it out and go get it guys thanks everyone for watching this knife review video, if you liked it I’ll, be coming out with many more that are similar to this thanks. Everyone for watching have a great day.

I just picked this up today and it’s a to be, and it’s been around a long time- I don’t like doing unboxings I, don’t like watching unboxings, because I find them kind of a waste of time, but in this case I think this video will be important. So, like the like, the title of the video says this is the gerber LST drop point and it’s model number 22 – 0, 6, 0, 0, 9 n.

You can maybe pick up there. So I put this back in the box, but I did take it out and look it over and I noticed some something kind of interesting, so keep in mind. I don’t want to disparage Gerber I’m a big fan of their company, but this product I was kind of disappointed in and I’ll show you what I mean. So this is a Gerber pair of friend few reasons why I bought it is number one.

It’s a classic number. Two! It’s cheap number! Three! It’s lightweight! This is the LST. They also make a slightly smaller version. It is very lightweight, it’s almost too light and it’s a fully plastic handle. It has about a two and a half inch blade and it’s just a very simple basic design and I have large hands and it’s surprisingly, fairly comfortable for its small stature.

However, there’s no steel liners in it, which is part of the reason why it’s lightweight, which it certainly is lightweight, but something is lacking, so it came very sharp, might be hard to see. But it’s it’s shaving. You know there’s some hairs on the blade and dry skin, but it came really sharp the the grind profile and all that stuff I like but I want to just show you.

It might be hard to see because I’m using a poor quality camera but I’m trying to focus in there it’s going to be hard to see. So let me just illustrate number one: it has a lot of side-to-side play. Okay, so hopefully you can see that the other thing is I brought out a pair of feeler gauges and bear with me I’m going to go to zero or point zero.

Three two. So this is the thickest one. It’s point is point eight millimeters. So if you use a metric system, it’s 0, 8, millimeters or point zero. Three, two and I was kind of looking at the blade play and there is some handle separation right here, so I took the biggest size feeler gauge I have, and if you can see that you can see daylight through right and it’s kind of a tight fit, but the fact that this fits in there there’s that’s a big gap and then it just it locks up good this way up and down it’s tight, it’s a lock back design and it locks up secure, but even twisting it.

You can see. Maybe there’s a lot of there’s a lot of play. The other issue is it uses this pinned these two pins? It doesn’t use a torx or a hex head screw if it used a screw you’d be able to tighten that up. But with this pinned what’s concerning, is you have daylight there and I I have bear with me, but I hope you can see that on camera.

I should have brought a white piece of paper out to reflect the light. But I’ll just illustrate this once more. Okay, that’s the biggest size feeler gauge I have it’s concerning, is I can squeeze the handle and it closes back up no tools. So at least, if that happens there it’s tool free. You can squeeze it together and it tightens up again, but then you know if you’re using this there’s, just a substantial amount of side to side of blade play so I know some people will cringe at what I’m about to do.

But this is the best way that I can illustrate it. I have it locked in a vise I’m only going to take a few fingers. Okay and the blade is stationary and I’m just going to grip it and the blades flexing a little bit, but you can see that’s kind of unacceptable you, so I zoomed out a little bit just so you can see I’m only gripping with a few fingers and I’m not trying to do some cold steel torture, test I’m, not putting much pressure on this, and you can see that blades up that handle separation right there.

You can see daylight right there. I’m, like you, can see I’m only gripping with my thumb and finger and there’s just a lot of play and I change angles a little bit and you can see the blade is stationary to me. That’s unacceptable and you can see I’m not putting much pressure I’m gripping with just you know my thumb and my forefinger and I can even well now the now the blade is moving a little bit.

So what am I going to do? I might want to return this knife I, don’t think so. Like I said, I’m out, 14 bucks and I’m going to keep it I’m going to use it I’m going to see if it just falls apart or maybe that is just a trait of this knife. Like I said this is a really iconic popular knife and I’m I’m, sad to say, because it is made in America, Portland Oregon.

This is one of their american-made knives, probably one of their cheapest american-made knives and listen. When they first came out, they might have been really good for a lightweight EDC type of knife, but I’m, sad to say various newer Gerber products that I bought. Like the center Drive, the wire cutters that are replaceable, they broke one of the first.

They used it to cut wire I have another multi tool called the MP. One I have issues with that and there’s a few other gerber products which I can’t think of off the top of my head, but throughout the years that just they were very questionable in quality. So, like I said, I don’t want to disparage the company, they make a lot of good products, but I don’t know if this is one of them, which you know some people may disagree, because this is an iconic knife, or at least it was in its heyday, and it’s still popular today and I really wanted to like it because it was inexpensive.

It was small, it was light and some people may say: well that’s what you get for a lightweight knife. You get less durability. I disagree, you know, I have various knives that are very lightweight and from other manufacturers that are really tough. So why did I go with this one? Well, because it’s lightweight and it’s cheap well as well, it’s a inexpensive, but in this case it’s very cheap.

It feels like a little plastic toy. You know in reality, if this was a little bit tougher, this would be an excellent fuel dressing knife. You know for deer hunting for small game to dress up birds, squirrels rabbits, oh my on the size and the scalpel, like geometry of this blade, would have made it phenomenal at that and it being stainless steel you know, would it would be less likely to corrode our own moisture and salt, but frankly, like I, said it’s inexpensive and it’s lightweight, and but it’s cheap and I mean cheap I, don’t mean inexpensive, it’s cheap in price and I hate to say it, but chief of quality too, it’s like I, said main reason.

I’m doing this, video is kind of a public service announcement. Maybe Gerber will see this video and say hey. We need to revise that design. Now they do have a newer design called the? U s. One and I’m probably want to pick that one up and see if that when is Bill tougher, and maybe they made that one for the shortcomings of this one what’s strange to me is this: knife is so iconic and so prolific and a lot of guys, especially military and law enforcement, guys back in the 80s and 90s.

This was a really common soldier knife and law enforcement knife. You know soldier knife, there’s probably millions of guys that carried one of these on deployment and all they used a form was to open MREs and to cut rope and that’s about it and I’m sure it served them. Fine and that’s. What’s so disappointing, is this being a new production I’m wondering if it’s a step down in quality for cost savings or whatever, like I, said I, don’t like to do in boxes, I find them a waste of time, but in this case this might help some people out.

So, like always, you can go back to my homepage watch my current videos, if you like what you see, feel free to subscribe and we’ll catch. The next video.

Hey guys I’m, Jerry, Mitchell Ike and have today for is one that I’ve been carrying for about ten or ten twelve years. Now it’s a gerber LST, it’s a little 1 4 ounce pocket knife. It’s four 4s 420, stainless steel blade, but four and a half inches open about two and a half inches closed. As you can see by the blade is gone. It’s gone got a little bit of use on it. I’ve had this one I can’t remember on 1012 years now, I’ve had them in my pocket for the last 20 years, first one I had was introduced to who was at the buck masters that came in the shooter’s package.

So I want to say that’s 18, 20 years ago we shot the buck master, so I actually wore that one completely out, but the big thing, it’s very slim and there’s light weight and there’s no reason not to have a knife in your pocket. What I? What I, when I, think about a pocket knife I want to think about something convenient something lightweight something economical, something you’re gonna have with you all the time I can’t imagine getting up in the morning and not having a knife in my pocket.

I’ve been doing this since I was eight years old. I had a first pocket knife I. Remember it well, my daddy said ready time for you to get a knife son. So ever since then it’s been a part of who I am it’s it’s. What I do got to have a knife guys tell you an interesting story: I’ve only lost one pocketknife in my entire life and I was in a frenzy of blackbirds. I was shooting blackbirds and I.

Had my little bolt-action rifle and the rear sight came out of adjustment, so I took my knife out of my pocket, tapped the rear sight back in and set it on the bumper of the truck and guess what happened to it. It’s somewhere on highway, 61 down to south Louisiana, so I went back and looked for it couldn’t find it cried for weeks. What can I say? What can I say guys if you want, or if you want to keep your knife there’s two things you have to remember: never lay it down and never loan it to anybody, not even your wife, so keep it in your pocket.

You it’ll always be yours.

What’s up everyone Alex Beale from 99 reviewing the one of the most classic identifiable pocket knives out there, the victorinox swiss army classic SD pocket knife, alright to start I’m going to take some measurements here, the blade on there and it is 0 74 ounces, which turns out to be 21 grams. Next I will grab a ruler and measure the length. So, as you can see, it’s about two and a half two and 3/8 inches, let’s see how long the blade is.

It is about one in three eighths inches. Alright, now, let’s get into some features, I’ll just start pulling things out here we have a toothpick. It also comes with some tweezers, what else some scissors a knife and a nail file with a flathead screwdriver on top also a keychain ring. So those are the really. How many is that? One, two, three, four, five, six seven different features of this pocketknife next, what I’m gonna do is just show you how well the the scissors, the knife and the screw head work.

So, let’s start with the scissors here: I folded, some aluminum foil in half five times, I’m, just gonna. Try to cut it, you can see where I already gave it a try, I’ll do it from y’all, so I’m definitely struggling here. The knife is not amazing, but it’ll cook it’ll definitely cut through some things right, so I will actually use these scissors to cut my fingernails and also when I’m out camping, I use these knives or these scissors to cut open.

You know like freeze-dried meals or just food pack, things like that so they’re, alright, they’re, not the best scissors, of course, but they will cut open. You know, small things will cut through a few pieces of plastic on a package or something like that. Let’s try out the knife to test it. Let’s get this stuff out of the way. I brought an apple, let’s see if we can just cut through this Apple. So as you see the thing, the main drawback to this blade is how short it is right.

You can’t really do much with a knife blade, this short, but it works. Okay, it cuts an apple. You know if you’re out camping, this is when I mostly use this pocket knife you can cut. You know you can, if you have some summer sausage, you can, you know, cut up some summer sausage. You know it worked pretty. Well, it’s not the sharpest and it’s obviously not the longest, but for a little blade just for cutting up small pieces of food.

It works. Okay, I’m not gonna test the nail file, but here let me just show you flathead screw so yeah. You know, as you can see here, it’s fine as for the tweezers, they work. Okay, they’re, not the best I’ve pulled out some splinters before with them, and they, but they weren’t splinters that were in very deep. You know they were just the ones that are kind of sticking out of my skin. They can pick up some stuff, but as you’d expect they’re, not the strongest nor the sharpest and the toothpick I’m, not gonna.

Subject you to watching me stick this in my mouth, but it works. Okay and I saw I’ve, actually I’ll show you my old version of this pocketknife which I carry around and the toothpick actually fell out, I think from just taking it in and out often this little bump right here, which is, let me try to focus on there. That little bump is how it stays in its little slot and I. Think over time from you know, pulling it in and out just the friction rub down that little bump and it got to the point where it would fall out frequently and then I eventually lost it and I believe the same goes for the tweezers I can’t remember, can’t really remember, but so my overall thoughts so I’ll show you I have a different version of this pocketknife which I keep on my keychain.

As you can see, the casing came off. That was intentional. I took it off because you know I got into ultralight backpacking recently and the motto there’s you know no unnecessary weight, so I took off the casing and now I just kind of walk around with it like this. But it’s the same knife, so I’ve been using this for a long time now on my keychain and on camping trips, and it works good. The blade is like I mentioned, it’s fine for me and just cutting the foods that I bring.

You know like I’ll, bring like some nut butter, pouches and the scissors work and cutting that you know. If I have like some vegetables or something or some summer, sausage, the blade works well for cutting that it works fine overall and, like I said you know, I’ll use it just for daily purposes as well, mostly pull out the scissors, and you know like maybe trim my fingernails, which need to be trimmed or maybe use the knife for something overall, I.

Think it’s a so it’s a really solid pocket knife I mean this. One has lasted me, maybe three or four years it’s great for carrying on keychain, as you can see, I like doing it. This little keychain ring holds up well overall, I. Think it’s a bit value it retails for sixteen dollars on the Victorinox website, but on Amazon. If you look at the right, colors, like I, think red is usually cheaper than all the other ones. You can usually find it for under $15 and it’ll last you, you know if you take good care of it and just keep track of it really which doesn’t do hard, because you can clip it to the keychain.

So, overall, you know I think it’s a good value and does like a little a little pocket or a keychain pocket knife. It works good and you know for camping and backpacking as like an ultralight or lightweight pocket knife to take with you just to prep, food and stuff, like that it works good as well. You know, and also for like you for first aid purposes, if you guys have found this review helpful, I’m gonna go drop. Some links in the description and pin some in the comments where you can pick this thing up on Amazon, like I said, is usually let’s lower than retail price there, and also, if you found this video helpful, give it a thumbs up and that’s the small thing you can do to help more people find it when they, you know when they’re searching on YouTube, if you’re interested in more reviews like this, then click that subscribe button, because I’m doing a video a day for 90 days, and this is day nines video, so I’ve got 81 in the queue and well that’s it for this review.

Thanks for watching.

Hey, what’s up guys she’s doing a quick knife, I picked up off, Amazon I, think small as Victorian axe, knives, scaler logo right there, and this one has a it’s a three leaf clover on this side and it’s a good little pocket knife I like it get your scissors standard stuff, little blade. You know file and to pick worse well, tweezers think everybody has one of these or heads had one at one time with the end they’re, just a little keychain pocket knife cutting open boxes- stuff like that, but uh I like it, but you always look real smooth and then, after a while your keychain to get a little scuffed up little scratch stuff like this one is here, but still works really good, really liked it and yeah just thought.

I’d share that with y’all thanks a lot. You.

Hey guys, thanks for checking out this swiss army classic SD knife- and this is one of your most common sought after pocket knives, that’s ever been created and I thought what the heck I’m just gonna, I’m gonna just review this knife and do a quick review, so everybody can just get a better idea. What this knife is comes in lots of different colors lots of different flavors lots of different scales. They have pretty much every color, you can imagine, they may have stainless steel.

There’s been special designs, there’s been silver gold, all sorts of scales you can. You can buy these in the nice thing about this knife. Is it small? It’s really small and it fits well in your pocket. I’ll see if I can I’ll see if I can get some of these markings here you can tell if you got a real one: buy, buy the stuff on the blade, it’ll always say: Victorinox, Switzerland, right on the blade and stainless Ross free.

So that’s the best way that you can tell if you got a real Victorinox, Swiss, Army knife, it’ll always say Victorinox in it and on top of it you can tell it’s a once. You have a couple of these you’ll see how they engrave it. It’s really important because I’ve seen fakes that are also engraved, but they don’t do a very good job. There’s nothing on the other side, but on the main, blade I’ll, always say Victorinox.

So yeah. This is the knife. What it comes with. It’s got a small blade. It’s got. It’s got a scissors, little just a little scissors, it’s got on the other side, it’s got the knife and it’s got. It’s got a file and it’s got a screwdriver tip. So if you ever needed a screwdriver or anything, you got that nice tip there. You’ve also got a tweezers and you got a toothpick and you got a keyring. It’s got the keyring right there and on top of it all these little knives come with a lifetime warranty.

So if the scissors breaks, if the knife blade breaks, if anything breaks on this knife, they will replace this for the life of the knife. Another thing: that’s important: is this logo? That’s the Victorinox logo, there’s also another brand that carries Swiss Army knives and that’s Winger I, like the Victorinox a little bit better than the Wenger once and this. This is the classic Victorinox SD a little tiny, Swiss Army knife, but it’s a it’s a great little knife and it fits fits in your hand.

Well, you can put it on a keychain you can put in your pocket. You can put in a survival kit, there’s a lot of functions on this knife that work really well for all sorts of circumstances that you may get yourself in a lot it. You may need to cut something. If you’re out in the woods you may need to do some stitching, you may need to open something you may need to do a little carving, it’s just a little nice, tiny, backup knife that you can put in your pocket and it’ll.

Just be a nice little handy knife. You don’t know how many times I’ve used these tweezers and I’ve used the toothpick and just needed a little knife or a scissors or a file. Lots of handy features with this little knife and you can usually get these for a buck. Two bucks on eBay I think this knife in the stores retails for ten or twenty dollars. You know it’s different stores have it for different amounts, I’m going to actually review quite a few other Swiss Army knives, because I really like the Swiss Army and the Victorinox brand.

This is just one that everybody’s seen. They probably have one laying around, but it’s a great little pocket knife and you will love this knife. And how can you go wrong? You buy something for a couple bucks and it’s guaranteed forever. You really can’t go wrong. So thanks a lot for checking out this sweet knife. This is the Victorinox classic. Sd have a great day.

Hey youtube sweet knives here coming to you, I got a sweet tip of the day, I’m about to tell you, but before I get into that, if you’re new to the channel hit the subscribe button check out the description, I got awesome links to amazon content and just all kinds of good deals on knives and other gear, so check out that stuff we’re gonna get right into it, guys we are looking at one of the most popular uh knives of all time.

This is the swiss army classic sd and the reason I got these four is these are one two three four different colors and if you were to buy these brand new you’re looking at 14 bucks and sometimes I’ve seen these even almost 20 in the store, so 20 40 60, you know 80 bucks or even if you’re saying 10, 10, 20, 30, 40 50 bucks right here on the table unbelievable well. This is the tip of the day. I’m about to show you how you can get these really cheap and usually it’s a pretty good deal check this out guys.

This here is a whole bunch of those knives, and how did I get this? I went on ebay and I literally won an auction and I think I paid like 50 bucks and I think, there’s I don’t even know how many there’s here 30 to 50, maybe 60 different knives here and yes, these do have little logos on them. Some are bigger than others, but I’m about to tell you a secret and not all of these are going to be perfect. I mean you’re going to run into some that you know they’re they’re, just you know, for whatever reason: they’re, not you know exactly how you would how you would want it um, that’s okay! I mean not.

Every single one is going to be perfect, but you got a really nice victorinox knife here and you got a whole bunch of them and the reason I’m showing you. This is because you can you can clean these. You can clean these knives and they can become really usable. You can clean every part in here and you can oil them and a lot of them are are almost perfect. So the other neat thing is sometimes you can find uh more expensive ones in the mix, for instance this one here, you probably didn’t see it.

This isn’t your normal one, it’s a little bit different, and so you can sometimes find these rare ones in the mix that are a little bit more money. But here I wanted to show you something, and you know I didn’t bring out the sandpaper and stuff, but there’s a sequence of using you know different types of sandpaper like 400 grit and then like 800 or a thousand, and you just use this sandpaper really lightly, and then you can buff out with this plastic, plastic, plastic, stuff and I’ll put the link in the description to amazon.

You buy this plastic stuff and you buff it out and you can take off these logos really easily, in fact emler. He did this in one of his videos and I’ll even link to one of his videos. I don’t need to recreate the whole wheel, but he has an awesome idea where you just you basically just sand this stuff off. Put this plastic stuff on, and I’ve done this with a few of them and then all of a sudden. This logo is no longer there and you got a perfectly good swiss army knife because a lot of these ones on ebay, the lots they have, these logos from companies.

You know that they’re sample edition type companies. So look you just pick out a few that you like and put the rest in a drawer, give them away. They got all different colors literally. What am I going to do with all these? I mean I literally have no idea what I’m going to do with all these. You could literally pick out a few of the ones you really like and fix them up. You know, buff them up, get them looking nice and then you can sell the rest, give them away, do whatever you want with them, but I mean it’s amazing and you get all the different hardware for all these.

You get the toothpicks you get the tweezers all the stuff can be cleaned and is actually pretty valuable and worth money. So I’m just letting you guys know. This is simple tip of the day: go to ebay and search victorinox swiss army knife lot and you will pull up tons of listings and there’s already people that know about this and are doing this. So I’m not telling anybody anything new, but um. You can do this and you can actually make really good.

You can get really good deals. I mean I literally got this whole thing of. I don’t even know 50 knives for like 50 bucks, so anyways guys, that’s my simple tip of the day check it out. I mean there’s nothing more simple than this. If you love victorinox and you love these swiss armies um, you can put one of these in your car every single carpet, a couple of them in your car backpacks. You can literally have one everywhere and you don’t have to break the bank.

So it’s a phenomenal deal and it’s a. I just think it’s an unbelievable tip just go to ebay, search, swiss army knife lot or victorinox swiss army lot and you’ll you’ll see what I’m saying so: hey thanks again guys thanks for checking it out, and I wish you guys all the best have a great day.

Talking about why you should be carrying one of these, let’s talk knives and go how’s. It going guys welcome to knife banner, and today we are talking about the top five Swiss Army knives of all time. Kicking it off with the SD classic Andrew. Tell us all about this. Jim yeah, guys, I, don’t think it could be any other knife, because this has to be the most confiscated knife in history. Everybody’s got one of these on their keys. I think my dad alone is lost over a hundred of these since I’ve been alive.

These come with a blade scissors, a file, a screwdriver. This is an awesome piece, pick it up for just $18 99 1899. It comes in a bunch of different flavors. This is the walnut version that just got released and, of course, that sweet, sweet, lady HQ exclusive mermaid I, almost answer her siren song, yeah great great fit a pocket knife, great keychain knife, alright. So next up guys we have the cadet. Now this is the a locks version of the cadet, which means that the scales are made out of aluminum.

So what you get is you get a sturdier scale feels really nice looks super classy, but you do miss out on getting the tweezers or the toothpick. With this particular version. This version goes for. $31 99 on the website has nine tools inside of it and my favorite tool on this particular one is the can opener. Now you might ask yourself: when was the last time you needed a can opener, probably not often, but it’s one of those tools when you need it, you need it and that’s what I love about the Swiss Army knife? Is you take it you throw it in your pocket and you’ve got what you need when you need it.

You can just forget about yeah, so anyways super-sweet knife. This is the cadet nice and slim very classy, and it’s going for $31 99. You can’t go wrong with those a locks variance, that’s so premium yeah guys, the next one we’re gonna talk about. This is my personal favorite knife from Victorinox. This is the Tinker in a blade, atchoo exclusive, lobo, loco, colorway, hello, guys so much you don’t know. That means crazy wolf! It’s like something straight out of a minor league baseball team, but this nice awesome going from that classic SD.

This knifes gonna get you a few more features. You’re gonna get two blades that awesome can opener bottle, not opener some screwdrivers you’re getting a lot of tools. This is kind of that first, full multi-tool in a very compact package. Take it anywhere with you, I love it and guys. If you want to step up just to the next level, going from the tinker to the super tinker is gonna get you the beautiful and amazing feature of spring loaded scissors.

You can’t go wrong with this on your Victorinox knife, it’s one of my favorite things. So this would be my pick. The super tinker coming in at $31 99, while our regular tinker comes in at just 26 1940, our just like cheap made little like tchotchkes, you buy it at tourist, easy times. These are like real tools made in Switzerland. Just like a ten thousand dollar Rolex yeah, you know Swiss craftsmanship as they say, and then the thing that I love about the scissors on that is that it’s one of those things this knife guys.

Of course, you always want to just cut with the knife in your pocket, so I carry a Swiss, Army knife and my regular pocketknife, so only when nobody else is around well I. Take the scissors out and I’ll use this as your stuff, but I’ve got it when I need I stand for the scissors, guys, not all the time, but they have it plain they have their place. They have a good place all right guys. As you know, with knife banner we like to take the knives on the table out and have a little fun, so we actually took out one of these Swiss Army knives and did a little cookout.

Let’s see what we got into alright guys today, we’re gonna be doing some food prep with a Swiss Army knife. Now, for you guys watching at home our awesome national knife day celebration was a couple weeks ago, but right now, while we’re filming we’re in the middle of trying to get all your orders out, we’ve been working overtime, double time, so I figure, if I got to do food, prep I, might as well make something tasty for the guys inside and cool thing is I finally found a use for the parcel hook.

Do you want some skewers I definitely want to do it. Hugga hugga. There you go -, mr Choi. Thank you guys do the best. You know that right, not bad I broke your bottle. Oh, you may not want to drink that. There’s my tea glass inside the bottle, so I was pretty excited. I should have had you out there. Cuz you’re, the chef right but I was just excited. I got a process, some proteins in my pocket knife. Oh man, that they’ve been processed process death process.

You know it was a great slicer. I was actually really stoked at how well it handled that’s the thing man. These are thin. Blades, good steel and they’re gonna perform yeah they’re gonna, look great dude, yeah yeah, all right guys, let’s check in with our product team for some sales and grails alright guys. So we have brought back the amazing George and he’s gonna run us through some sales and grails how you doing fellas, hey, hey, hey today, we’ve got in the way of sale.

I’ve got that Kershaw I knew this agile, agile, agile. This thing was on sale for knife day and it’s still on sale and it is awesome. Hinderer design Slim’s got that modular back spacer yeah and for 20 bucks. 20 bucks looks just like an ex m18 I know, wait! Whoops, that’s a good! Well, you can say it I guess: cuz I mean it’s designed by Rick. What is this beast George? This is this? Is the ckf crow car whoa? It’s it’s just big I mean it would make any si lot warrior proud.

It’s got this fancy I, don’t know what kind of lock this is Giusti yeah, oh with your thumb, okay, how’s, that, like rebellious edge hanging out it’s Vince, that’s quite the grip elegance edge I like this wood, and how much does this go for 750 750? It’s definitely spendy, but it’s pretty awesome interesting! Alright! Now we can’t have you on and not ask what’s in your pocket. So what are you carrying? No purist I’m going super tinkerer super teen care, alright guys, so we actually already know we actually knew.

We had a super tinker on him. He has another pocket knife, but guys we’re talking specimen knife, so we’re gonna show you George is always carrying a super tinkerer I’m, always using it – there you go two edges one to junk around with yeah. I could go all day about that. Well, thanks for come on, hey thanks, fellows George. Take it easy all right, guys, let’s jump back in to the table, and we are going to look at the ever impressive, the always amazing Victorinox compact.

Now you guys have been along on the the wild ride. That has been me. Falling back in love with Swiss Army knives, and the compact has has been the thing that’s done for me: I have just loved this compact man, since we did the Swiss Army knife video that we did a few minutes ago back in the spring. This has not left my pocket, and this is actually my personal one. It’s the one that I did all the food prep within the video that you saw and the most used tool on this, for me, is probably that screwdriver end yeah and I use it as a pry bar.

So it’s saved a ton of knives tips as well. A well-rounded feature set on that I guess see why you carry it. It’s super slim. You know compared to the tinkerer yeah. It’s got to be like 25 percent, thinner, guys, yeah I, think it’s an awesome, carry and I’m not surprised to see it on the top five I love it I love it! It’s it’s not even my from my top five. This is from you guys as well what you guys like to buy as well. So the compact is a super stellar one $43 99 for the compact and it’s got 13 tools.

So if you’re gonna carry any of the knives on the table, that’s the one, that’s the one yeah and if you guys buy that one you’re, probably gonna, get in a collection connection in the future. Yes that’ll be like man, amazing taste. If I see that compact I’m- probably like you, know all right guys, the last one we’re gonna be talking about. This is a cool piece. This is the Huntsman and I feel like with a name like the Huntsman you’re gonna get a little bit of an idea of what type of features you’re getting with this knife.

You’re gonna get that awesome. Serrated saw $35 99. This is a bargain very similar to some of the other knives you’ve. Seen on the table, you’re gonna get a big feature set from these thicker Victorinox knives. I think that it’s really a good time to emphasize that if one of these knives doesn’t have the tools you want go to the website, we have a category built out with awesome, Victorinox, knives and you’re gonna find one that has the special mix of tools that you want, and the thing that’s crazy about it is.

There are knives so like with the compact, for example, the compact is made in another knife called the climber, and it’s just one feature different. So if you wanted to compact with let’s say a Phillips head, screwdriver right instead of a corkscrew boom, you got the climber. So there are some amazing options on the website to very out things like that. Yeah so I mean guys. I would really encourage you to take a look at our category, who spent a lot of time building that out to make it function really well for you, but you’ll find this beautiful, Huntsman very similar to the Tinker or the super tanker, but you’re getting corkscrew and a saw along with a lot of other beautiful tools, yeah and and I would say for me personally.

The Huntsman is probably as wide as I would go. Yeah like that in my pocket, I don’t think I’d carry daily either like for me personally, it’s a little too much knife, yeah yeah but I mean a few of those like contractor pants yeah, throw it in one of those pockets beside and you wouldn’t even notice they wouldn’t even notice or take it backpacking or hiking or zactly yeah, all right guys. Well, we’ve had a ton of fun going through the Swiss Army knives Andrew out of all the knives on the table, which one would you which one would you take home, which ones you carry the most I’ve I’d say which one that I carry a LOX cadet one.

What I use cuz it’s sitting on my desk right, super super ticker, I love, it great I’ve owned it for a great one and when what I originally was doing, research on these, like I, said like months ago, I almost grabbed a supertanker, but the compact is stolen, my heart, so you guys aren’t in my answer. But let us know down the comments. What do you guys carry? What are you using your Swiss Army knives for we’d love to hear you’ve gotten one of these taken away? Let us know I want to know, but that’d be great and tell us the story, and so there’s always a good story with get them taken away, all right, guys um.

So, as you know, with knife manner, now it is time for the collection connection. All right guys. Welcome to the collection connection. This is your corner, your space on knife, better, if you use hashtag bhq collection on Instagram, post pictures post, your collections post your adventure as we go through that hashtag every week, and we find things that speak to our heart. And today we have got a picture from our good buddy, slow, flips at slow flips on Instagram, and it’s just a nice little collection picture.

Man I think it yeah I think that a lot of people probably have collections. That start out. Looking a lot like this yeah I bet, I bet, epic snuggle, bunnies collection started out. Looking like that, yeah yeah I know he’s got a squiddy he’s got a bug-out he’s got a couple: Victorian oxes and a mora this guy, this guy’s rocking it he’s a real knife lover. You can tell that much love, slow, flips, I love, your collection guys, give him a follow.

Yeah, that’s what it’s all about. So it’s all about all right guys and now to end knife banner. We got to figure out what the heck we’re doing next time with the knives on the table. So we have brought Mitchell from he is he works kind of all over like he works in the warehouse he does some receiving. He works in the workshop I think workshop specialist. Doesn’t your official yeah he’s a workshop specialist he’s gonna spin, the wheel of indecision for us? So let’s see we’re doing master suite cut paper.

We haven’t done that one. Yet all right, so we’re gonna have to cook up something real special of that, because boy does that sound kind of boring? We have guys. Have we let you down yet let us know in the comments how you feel about these field tests. Have we let you down yet we always have a good time all right Mitchell. So since you’re here, what do you got your pockets? Nate I’ve got my native 5 in maximum my favorite yeah. If that knife kicked the crap out of it works all the time and then my bushcrafter barker, barbara crafter in 3 V, so, okay, yeah super killer creature for super steel.

Nice, no I always see you with a fixed blade on your hip. Is it usually your bark or you just kind of trade? I mean kind of trade I’m, just I like fixed blades, more than I like yeah, but yeah, but we’re gonna have to something ran through a collection, video, sometimes okay, good stuff. Awesome man! Well, thanks for coming on, appreciate, you’re, welcome and thank you guys for following along. It’s been a blast. Please consider, subscribing and hitting the notification.

Dale bell down below. We’ve got hundreds of knife videos tons of more fun stuff to come and catch on the next one. You.

Because I just didn’t think the knife was sexy enough, but you know what the more I’ve had it, the more I like it, the more functional I think it is so I think it does deserve its own review. I’ll, be it it’ll, probably be very short. This is the Victoria Knox classic XD is a very small knife and it has a lot of functionality to it now, as I suggested, if you’re in a room full of a bunch of knife people- and you pull this out- it’s probably not going to turn heads or people aren’t going to in awe at it.

But the thing is just so handy to have around it’s a great one to have in your inventory. Let me go over it real, quick, let’s got on it, it’s got a blade and it comes. It comes very sharp I, like the sharpness of the blade. Just out of the box works very well. It does not lock it’s just more of a penknife type. You have a nail file and you’ve also got a screwdriver head on the top of that. On the other side, you’ve got a small pair of scissors and I use these all the time.

It’s amazing how much I use these also you’ve got a pair of tweezers and again I use these for a ton of stuff stuff. You’d. Imagine you know. Slivers working with a lot of wood, do a lot of carving that kind of a thing, but also I’ve, pulled glass out of my boys. Finger and I have pulled a bee stinger out of my boy’s foot. All kinds of thing that has come in handy for oh I pulled a sliver too out of my boy’s fingernail. It went from here all the way down and had to get in there and pull that out and then on the other side you have a toothpick and then the third function.

What they’re, counting as a function on this is a little key ring. So you can put that on your car keys. If you want and just have it around with you, what I do with this is actually put it in my coin, pocket of my Levi’s pants and use it as a secondary blade to whatever main blade I’m carrying it’s a great one for the office. If you work in one of those offices where you know maybe something like this is going to scare people, and this is a great option to have, because then you can pull this out and around the office.

Typically, if you’re in one of those types, this will work for pretty much anything you would need, but wanted to get this one out there guys it’s about eleven twelve bucks depending on where you get it, and there is a model if you’re really interested and 135 dollars. My point in saying that is that there’s a lot of options with this little model, a lot of color variations, a lot of patterns on that on the handles here and then that one, that’s really expensive is I.

Think it’s a sterling silver, but anyway, yeah for 11 bucks I should have brought the other one down. I have one for myself: I have one for my son they’re well worth the purchase. If you lose it yeah go out and buy another one. There’s a chapstick. You can see the size comparison of the classic XD compared to that. So it’s a very small knife, it’s very thin, very lightweight. Obviously, a great knife check it out. If you haven’t see you later.

Okay, folks, here we’re looking at another Victorinox hunter knife, and this is probably, if you had to pick one knife to have for the rest of your life. This would probably be the absolute best knife to have and I’ll tell you why it’s useful, so you got a nice big, locking blade. This is the lock mechanism can’t go down. You have to actually move your thumb to make that go down, so it’s got a really nice blade to Victorinox.

So it’s been around a long time. They make good quality products. You get you get it tweezers. Here you get a toothpick on the other side, the other nice tool that I really like about this knife is the saw. You know anybody, that’s all in the woods that goes hunting or whatever they do. They always going to saw branches. This is actually a really good saw and I highly recommend that the other thing is if you’re at home, and you need to open up wine bottles.

It’s got a corkscrew thing to take out cork screws. It’s also got your basic screwdriver bottle opener. So if you drink a little bit of beer, you can open up your bottles and then my favorite is the gut blade. Of course everybody shoots deer and you need a clever way to cut out the deer. This blade here is amazingly sharp. It’s almost sharper than the standard blade that comes with it.

Just a super sharp blade the best part about this knife. You can get it for about $30. That’s right! Thirty bucks! You get this useful knife, it’s probably the best knife. It holds up well over time guaranteed for life. You can’t go wrong buying this knife, one of the best knives out there period.

Talking about my favorite everyday carry, that is a keychain. It is a Swiss Army knife, keychain, now I’m sure you’re, like Oh big whoop whatever. But if you stick with me and listen to this it’ll probably become one of your favorite things that you have in your pocket or your person. What might what that might be, because this is one of the most usable items that have ever carried in my life, I’ve carried one for over 25 years. I know what I’m talking about now before we get deep into it.

This the first time I my channel if you’d hit subscribe, that would be awesome, would love to have you along the ride, every Thursday, new videos on outdoor gear and such and, of course, all the links to the products I talked about are always down in my description now, let’s get into it. This is what some people will call a Swiss Army knife, it’s actually the Victoria Knox company that makes these, and this is called a classic SD knife. It has seven different functions: knife scissors, all those types of things, but the fact of the matter is that, yes, this is the knife that you don’t realize.

You really need in your life. I have given this to people for gifts. Two years ago, I gave these knives to five colleagues at work, the women and men and I said, and they were kind of like for Christmas. This is kind of lame, but I said use it put it on your keychain, put it in your purse whatever and then use it. So, a month later, I checked in with all of men. They were like. Oh man, I use this thing every single day. It has so much function in the world because we’re always you don’t realize it but you’re looking for something to open up your Amazon package or envelope or whatever it may be, your cut of thread and that type of stuff and having this just on a keychain just like this is amazing.

It helps so much so what does it have on it? It basically has your knife I kind of keep mine I used to sharpen it all. The time but I keep it pretty dull. Now, because when I had little kids, they would grab it and I didn’t want a super sharp, but these bad boys can get really sharp. It has the screw head and file option right here. I use this to pry a lot to pop things out and do that type of stuff and then on the end. This is the cool part. It has a toothpick which is kind of nasty when you think about it, but I use it to like pick or move do different things, not my teeth, because I’ve actually had this one on my keychain for like eight years and that’s the thing -, they are durable.

They last forever and this side full on tweezers. That’s right and that’s pretty awesome. You can use that for a lot of different things. But here is my favorite thing of all on this knife, and that is these cute little scissors has this little spring metal spring here. So it helps it come back and you can use it. One thumb just like that. This thing gets used daily. I am not exaggerating. If you get one of these, you will use this on a daily basis. I challenge you to get one of these bad boys.

The link is down below in my description and to my Amazon affiliate, and if you put one of these on a keychain or in your purse for a week, I bet you will use it for sure at least five times. It is the most useful item. I know it seems like lame or it’s a little tiny thing, but it’s so useful and I have multiple of these, like I, keep one in my camera bag. Just so I’ve got it at all times and they make them in all different types of color. This one’s a red one. Obviously I carry the black one.

They got. They have a lot of cool, limited edition ones, I’m gonna, getting the New York City cityscape on one of them and and and there’s just all different types of colors and options and things you can check the link down below so I have carried one of these for over 25 years, almost 30 years. My dad used to give these as gifts to all of his guys that he worked with at the shop and he would buy like 20 or 30 these every season and and give them out, because he just knew how useful they were and I’ve sort of taken it for granted until I might pass my keys to somebody and they’re like oh, that’s, cool man, a scissors no way and then I tell people to get them and when they do get them, they’re like how did I ever live without this, so I challenge you get yourself a Swiss, Army knife classic SD and use it put it on your keychain for at least a week or something I guarantee.

You will use it at least five, maybe ten times that week. So hopefully you like this video I know it’s a short one, pretty simple! But this is my favorite everyday carry til next time, just remember life’s a hike, so I copy with a mini Swiss, Army knife thanks so much for sticking around to the end of the video. If you’re new to my channel, if you hit subscribe, that’d be awesome. I put out new videos every Thursday around outdoor gear, and, if you’d like to support me, you can check out my merchandise.

I have my hike, happy shirt on here at my store, you can click that down below and check out the other apparel that I have till next Thursday just go ahead and watch some of my other videos.
