So you know normally, if I’m out, climbing or mountaineering I’ve got my boots and I don’t want to bring another pair of shoes because they’re just too heavy, so I’ll bring these and I like these.

Because they’re warm they’re 700 fill down they’re super light. They have a waterproof breathable fabric on the outside. So even if you’re walking in the snow they’re going to keep your feet dry, it’s got a real soft polyester line, a couple drawstrings and a real, durable sole on here, and they slide on really easy and they’re warm. Nobody beats sd’s bootie, as these got back.

This is a quick look at axe down. Booties I got these on. They cost about $16, u s as I recall, and they took two or three weeks to get to Canada, and this is what you get the two down boots and it comes in a fairly large stuff sack. Now the specs on these booties are they’re supposed to have 650 fill power down, and it’s a 20d nylon shell, so I’ve put them in this the smaller stuff sack.

This is actually the stuff sack that came with my Aegis max down hood, but just to show that they do come back down to a pretty small size and the weight on these guys is 2 6, the 2 7 ounces, 74 grams, so they’re they’re, pretty lightweight the quality on these is, is quite good. They don’t have a lot of loft, as you can see here, maybe oh, when they’re puffed up maybe to recorded to the inch.

So they call these down. Booties I would wouldn’t call them. Booties I would call them down socks. So, as you can see, there’s no sole on these. It’s the same 20 D nylon! If you walk around these things, you’re gonna wear the soles are pretty quickly, and so this is sighs. I think there were just one size as I recall. They say they’re up to us. Eleven and a half. My feet are about 10 1/2 11 and they just fit so I can put these on my hip.

My foot and I can actually wear a reasonably how heavy sock as well I’ve been wearing these almost every night, since I got them to bed. To keep my feet warm. My bedroom gets pretty cool at night. We let her heat go down and it’s typically gets on a cold night down to 55 or below actually, and these have done a great job of keeping my feet warm. So so again my feet are about 10 half to 11 and you can see.

I got a I’m at a heavy wool sock, but it’s a it’s, not a lightweight sock, that’s for sure, and they go on there. They fit. You know, that’s that’s my toe, my big toe there. So you know the down is actually compressed a bit and what I wanted to serve an MRI. It compresses a little bit when I I just have just my foot in there too. So ideally they’d be a bit bigger or my feet would be smaller, but the bottom line on these is for the money.

I think they’re great. They again, they’ve really kept me warm in my am I sleeping this winter and I’m definitely going to take them on my camping trips this year, when it’s cold, or you know, cooler weather when I want to keep my feet warm, so nice piece of gear for for the money.
