Okay this is a review of hornady black. Ammunition this is a 12-gauge two and. Three-quarter inch eight pellet double-aught buckshot this box here so. Hornady black ammunition and like i said. It’s a 12-gauge 200 quarter-inch eight. Pellet and it’s listed at 1600 feet per. Second and when you fire this you will. Feel it definitely has a little more recoil than some of the other buckshot that I’ve fired recently I’m not sure what the difference really is between the hornady black and the hornady personal defense or critical. Defense I’m sorry they look just about. The same they both have eight pellets so I’m not really sure what the difference is, but they both seem to shoot about the. Some out of my gun so again this is the hornady black it’s out of a moss berg 500. With a 20-inch smooth bore barrel at five. Yards we had a three-inch spread. Basically you know one big hole for the. Most part it’s like the wad and some pellets went one way and a few other pellets went the other way but that. Would be devastating at 5 yards at 10. Yards it doesn’t open up at all it’s the. Same exact spread as it had it 3 or 5. Yards on you so here at 10 yards we’re. At 3 inches and that is a really nice. Tight pattern right there wide shot up here to the left a little bit but i mean you’re looking at 8 pellets right there within a 3 inch. Circle at 10 yards that’s that’s really. Nice performance out of a double op lock. 15 yards opens up a little bit we’re at. 8 inches its still good like i said 15. Yards we’re at 8 inches the bulk of them. Poured right down here that’s about a 5. Inch you know, so we’re at about 5 inches the 8 comes from this guy. So we had one little flyer up there but for the most part ways to the wads down. Here to the right a little bit but for the most part all of your pellets are in. This nice central area right here and. Like i said one flyer up there but still you know eight inches at 15 yards is very respectable yeah yards 20 yards. It’s actually tighter than it was at the 15-yard mark i remember at the 15 we had. That flyer these can all look about the. Some that’s a nice tight group right here about 5 inches, and then we have a flyer down here that’s what increases it up to the 7 inches but for the most part. You know we have seven pellets here in about a five-inch pattern 5 inch holes at. 20 yards with this one little guy down here you know brings it up to the 7. Inches but i wouldn’t worry about that little guy going out to 25 yards yeah 20. Yards this was 7 inches at 25 yards it. Only opens up one more inch to 8 inches so this is a very nice personal defense. Load wide shot off here up to the right. But though 25 yards 1/8 inch spread we. Have all eight pellets a double out buck there and 1/8 inch circle again this is. The hornady black ammunition 12-gauge. Two and three-quarter inch eight pellet double-aught buckshot and this was out. Of a moss berg 500 with a 20-inch. Smoothbore barrel.

The mec 9000 gn utilizes mechs autos. Indexing system which automatically advances the shells to the next station we will go through the steps on the. Setup and then the actual reloading sequence that is involved in reloading. On the 9,000 gn the first step in. Setting up the 9000 gn would be to. Attach the ejection chute to the side of. The base using the bolts and nuts supplied in the parts bag the next step. In setting up to 9,000 gn would be to attach the wooden handle grip to the handle after you have selected your. Desired load install the proper powder. Bushing. The next step would be to install the primer seating assembly. Now attach the primer feed to the. Mounting bracket to fill the primer feed. Slide the cover off insert one set of. Primers which would be a hundred slide them in remove the cover install the. Next set of 100 primer feed is capable of holding 200 primers install the. Powder and shot containers and fill with. Proper components. To begin reloading on the 9000 gn slide. An empty shell into station one lowering. The handle d prime’s the shell and. Resizes the brass back to factory specs. At this point when the handle is depressed a primer is also dispersed into the shell carrier upon returning. The handle to the top of the stroke the shell is automatically advanced to. Station number two at station number two. With the down stroke of the handle the primer is seated and when the handle is. Returned to the top the powder is dispersed into the shell and the shell then is advanced to station number three. At station number three slip a wad onto. The ram and depress the handle the shot is then dispersed into the wad the shell. Is then advanced the station number four. When the handles return to the top at. Station number four it puts the pre. Crimp on the shell the necessary steps. With the pre crimp would be to make sure that you pre crimp the shell with the. Same number of folds that it had originally upon return of the handle to. The top the shell is advanced to station. Number five mechs exclusive cam crimps. Die this station closes the shell and sets. The depth of the crimp returning the. Handle to the top — shell advances to station number six at station number six. The desired amount of taper is placed on. The shell when the handle is returned to. The top the shell is ejected down the chute to go into the progressive mode. You’ll simply add a shell to station number one and once three shells are in. The machine you’ll just be adding a shell and placing a wad on the ram the. 9000 gn is capable of reloading three to. Four hundred shells per hour and is available in the following gages 12 16. 20 28 and 410 die sets are not available. For this machine so if you wish to. Hi there folks in this video we’re gonna. Have a look at a li load all junior now. The lilo doll junior was probably one of. The cheapest loading presses ever made this particular example is loaned to me. By a buddy and of all the boxes somewhat. Whether the contents are actually new. And unused but i thought it’d be kind of neat to see and to show you just what. These things look like when they were packed in the box this one obviously the. The box has seen better days it looks. Like you’ve got wet at some point in time however the contents are in. Basically unused condition and lee sold. These in 12-gauge I’ve looked on some. Old documentation and it looks like they. Plan to sell them also in 16 and 20. Gauge but I’ve never actually seen a 16. Gauge or a 20 gauge load all junior but perhaps they’re out there and i just haven’t crossed paths with one anyway. Let’s have a look and see what’s inside this box we’ve got a few things packed. Away in the bag some hardware and some accessories and some parts of this little press this aluminum bar is the. Handle we’ve got a kind of plastic. Rubbery grip that goes on the handle and. Then we’ve got the actual machine itself. And one other item which i pulled out of. The package earlier which is the instructions and the charge tables so as. You can see this is a very low-cost item. And as far as i can tell lee sort of. Intended this to replace the lee hand. Loader tool set that they used to sell and this would be much cheaper to. Manufacture than the hand loader would be because it’s mostly plastic and a few. Stamped aluminum parts so there’s not a. Lot to one of these things these were quite a low-cost item and i quiet. Frankly doubt that anybody has ever manufactured or sold a loading press that was any cheaper. Especially in real world terms anyway. Let’s have a look at this thing the. Machine is based upon this square column. I think it’s about one inch in diameter it’s an aluminum extruded column and. We’ve got a plastic base plate that’s attached to that column and this has several stations on it we’ve got a deep. Priming and sizing station a reaper. Iming station a station where we charge. The shell with shot with a put a watt in. Put the powder in and we’ve got a. Crimped starting station and a crimp finishing station and on top of this. Column that rides up and down on it is the tool head and the tool head has. Several dies or stations on it we’ve got. Our decapping and resizing station or. Reap rhyming ram we’ve got this funnel. Which lets you drop the powder and the. Shot down and also pushes the wat down then we’ve got a crimp starting station. And this has an interesting feature it will do either six or eight point crimps. Depending upon which way you put it on. The machine you get six point one way and you get eight points the other way that’s kind of clever, and then we’ve got our crimp finishing station or a final. Crib station and this rides up and down. On top of the column like that and it is. Attached by way of handle and as well. Linkage which is in the back parts here. And this bag was sealed up when i got it. So I’ve opened it up just to show you. What the machine came with so there’s a link that’s part of the attaches to the. Handle and it also attaches to. Top of the tool head like that I’m not. Gonna put this together completely because I’ve got another one here that’s already assembled we’ve also got a. Couple of wod guides that come with the machine they give you one to put on the machine and the spare one which is good because these will eventually break and the wad guide is held on to the machine. By means of using this screw goes. Through the back of the column like that. You have two different holes in the back. Of the wad guide one is for loading. Two or three-quarter inch shells and the. Other on the taller one is for loading three inch shells so basically to adjust this you just move it up and down and to fix it with the screw at whatever height you need for the shells you’re moving and there’s some more hardware in here there’s a bolt and a nut and that goes. Through the top of the column like that. And that lets you tie the handle onto. The machine and we’ve got a few screws. That they’ve included so you can screw the machine down to a piece of plywood. Or to a workbench whatever you want to. Attach it to we’ve got a sizing ring. This is an important part that often. Gets lost on second hand machines but this is the part that actually does the sizing of your shells, and we’ve got an. Adjustable short dipper and that snaps. Open and shut — to vary the amount of shot you can load you’ve got what else. And a half down to at the minimum. Setting one ounce so there’s your adjustable shot dipper. And that of course is for lead shot and. The machine came with a 2.5 cc dipper. For powder measures and last but not. Least we have got a set of. Instructions and charge tables these are. A little bit crumpled up from having. Been stored and folded and unfolded over. The years but you can see we’ve got our. B precision complete instructions so. This gives all the data you need and. Goes through the instructions and how to. Use the machine we might go over this in. A little more detail in another video and it also gives you basic some basic. Loads anyway when you put all of this. Stuff together you end up with basically this i better move this out of the way. Here so we can get better look at an assembled machine so once you’ve got the machine completely assembled you end up. With something that looks like this is actually a different machine that I’ve i was given by a gentleman from. Australia of all places he shipped this thing to me last year and i never did get around to making a video with it but. Anyway here’s its first appearance on on-camera but anyway this is what it. Looks like when it’s fully assembled and as you can see the handle and the linkage move the tool head up and down. And anyway that will give you a basic. Idea of what this thing looks like when it’s put together so i think I’ll leave. Any loading or demonstration of the machine to a separate video will close. This video up just using this as an opportunity to show you that new in the. Box machine and to show you all the parts that it’s made out of anyway thanks for watching I’ll talk to you later.

Hi there folks i thought I’d do a quick. Video to show how long it takes to load a box of 25 shells using this lilo doll. Press I’ve done some similar tests in the past with other pieces of reloading gear and i thought it would just be kind of interesting to see how this machine compares to some of the other loading equipment that I’ve got for loading shotgun shells, so we’ve got 25 empty. Double-a hauls here the machine has powder in it has shot. In it the primer feed is full and I’ve. Got my phone set up here with the. Timer on it, so we’re going to start off and see how long it takes we’ll start. Off with the d priming the shells sizing. Then move over to getting a primer next. Over to powder add a one-seat the wad. Dropsy shot start the thread and finish. The crimp so I’ll probably end up using. The fast-forward feature on the video. Software so that you don’t have to watch. This whole thing in real time because that would probably be the most boring thing ever, but we’ll come back later on. Once i got the shells loaded, and we’ll check and see what the elapsed time is. For the whole box of 25. You. There we go 12 minutes in 52 seconds so. Pretty close to 13 minutes to load one. Box shells using the lilo doll a lot of. The time that’s kind of wasted what this. Machine is wasted with uses the primer. Seed and kind of screwing around with us because it doesn’t always obligingly for. The primer ups so there is some time wasted in messing around using that. Primer feed i don’t think you really find a big difference in loading shells with this machine if you didn’t use the. Primer bead i think it would work just about the same might actually be quicker. Sometimes depend on how much grief the primer feed give you anyway. Machine does a reasonably good job of the shells but overall if i have to load. A lot of shells i think I’ll stick with my mech machines because they’re significantly faster than the lis but the lis is an economy machine and it. Does a good job for the money talk to. You later guys.

Hello today want to make a second part. Of about my mix 650 reloaders after a. While it takes up a little bit of tuning. In and setting back for you gauges if. You have changed the shot size before or. If you have changed the powder it takes. A little bit of tuning besides i went to. In the previous part i had to resize the shells and had to remove the tray in. Order to install the rings for resizing. Of the shells now you see that i have. Removed the resizing ring and installed. The primer tray bag so after a bit of. Tuning in i am back to reloading on this. Progressive press you take a sized the. Shall it’s de primed we have a primer. Here install it here don’t we take a. What hold it like this then i prefer to. Do it slowly presses down you see what. Happens a fresh primer have been cut. From the primer tray a powder has been. Fed from the powder a container and shot. Islet as you move the handle back you. See what happened on the first station. We have installed the primer and have. Poured in the powder on the second. Station we have a primer powder one and. Shot in this case I’m using a shot. Number six it is used for. Mm duck hunting here next station we. Have the previous manipulations and we. Have started the star crane in this case. Um using a six petal crimp because most. Of the shells that I’m using are six. Crimps they say that a trim is better. Looking but i never had any used shells. With eight petal crimps so i can’t tell. For sure next station it is almost done. Shotgun shell only we have to put a. Little bit of tapering on the next station the next station you see that we. Have a ready shotgun shell it has a nice. Star crimp it has 36 gram grams of mmm. Number six shot and two point three. Grams of ukrainian mate silver powder. Shotgun powder that’s burning so we take. This and put it on the table and repeat. The procedure as we turn to let this. Start that is rotating the shells the. Primer sits here in this station this is. A bad one will use a fresh she’ll install. It here and install a fresh one. Repeat this procedure you see that this. Measuring bar is moving left and right. Thus dosing the powder and shut again we. Have a nice round sometimes they have a. Little bit of defects here but as it sit. On a table like for a couple of minutes they become smooth again just once again. Repeat this procedure and i will be done. With this video it is always nice to. Watch that everything is going smoothly. But the bar has moved the powder has. Been dropped and it is necessary to have. On your table an electronic or any other. Scale and once in a while taking you can. Take the shelf from each station checking the weight of the powder and. The weight of the shot but it’s always. Nice to do that because something may. Happen not depending on un then you will. Have for instance a shell that has no. Powder or has no shot it is easy to. Notice that it has no shot but it is not as easy to notice that it has no powder i once had that situation and when i. Took a shot the charge actually flew out. But it was actually a solid fly like i. Saw the shot flying from the barrel so. It is always nice to be safe and not to. Be in a hurry and do everything slowly. All right what else the primer tray may. Be tough topless individual primers like to take. Individual primer and feed it into this. Hole here or you may lower it a bit and open it. And put a lot of primers plays okay then. Thank you for watching maybe to someone. It has been helpful it’s a nice reloader. Thank you for watching.
