You are looking at I, really don’t know because I’m a today I have the Eno single net. Hmm I think I just ate a buck. How you doing everybody Tim here from the tactical defender and I, have the Eno single nest hammock in olive, green and khaki, my favorite colors.

It comes in this very nice stuff sack the whole combination. As you see it right here with carabiners is only 16. Ounces I usually carry it like this I put it inside my pack, but I leave this out. I get to a spot. I set up. My tree strap. I hook one end on and then I undo the rest and walk it to the next tree. Fantastic hammock.

It is very small, as you can tell you, can hang it on your pack like that or you can just stuff it in your backpack. The way I do, but this is the Eno single nest hammock. This is what we’re looking at today, all right everybody, so here I am at camp number, one for those of you that are familiar with my channel here is my office over here and believe it or not.

This right here is my secretary. She does very little, but she does take dictation, get it. Camera does voice and video recording so anyway, backpack brought a tarp a couple other things to work on some stuff today, but here we have the Eno single nest, hammock and what I think is their absolute best, color olive, green or OD green, with khaki really blends in with my surroundings.

I feel you know me I’m, really not into the camo thing, but I do like to blend as much as I, possibly can and yeah this hammock here lots of colors they come in and I prefer. This particular one here now very quickly kind of a funny story: I’ve actually had this Eno single nest for a couple years, at least I. Think my wife got it to me for our present I, don’t think I ever used it I Switek I, put it on a shelf with all my other gear and literally forgot that I had it huh.

Some husband I am uh what I really good at two hammocks testing them reviewing them and then I I found it I remembered wait a second idiot, you already own one believe it or not. This is my only single nest or a single person hammock, all the other ones. I have are doubles. This is my only single. So as always you get a stuff sack.

You can see there. There’s your stuff sack same material as the hammock itself, folds up very nicely and by being in my only single hammock, it is also my lightest hammock. Let’s go down here. Let’s get a better look at this triple stitching throughout the whole hammock. As you can see, there does have a very generous spot to hook up the included wire gate.

Carabiners they have the own. You know carabiners now, I do believe. It says 400 pounds on here somewhere, 400 pounds per carabiner I’m, actually using I, have a lot of different straps I’m, actually using eNOS straps as well, and they are camel I did order to review those. This particular hammock has nautical nylon rope. Now. Why is it a nautical nylon rope between you and I I really, don’t know, I’m going to guess that it is better under what conditions as opposed to a non nautical rope, but you can feel the knot in a really solid I mean it is I mean I have actually know.

Where is at all that I’m gonna end up on my buttocks does come with if I already didn’t say so. Two carabiners does not come with tree straps a lot of hammocks. Do not you need to buy tree straps? Obviously you can get Ino or any other brand. It will work with anything I happen to have these today, I like them, so I brought them same thing on both ends.

Of course you have the nautical nylon. You have your wire gate carabiner. Now the hammock alone is rated at 400 pounds each. What each carabiner is rated at 400 pounds. So you hit you good. You are absolutely good to go when I go out and I do my thing in the woods. I usually take this single eagle nest hammock as opposed to all my doubles when I’m out with the family or if I’m with someone I may take the double, but mostly when I’m with family, because I have little boys they want to hop in here with me, I will take whoa a little windy up here on the ridge today.

Leave that it’s a wave and bye I will take this when I’m alone, I will take a double when I am with family. I have not had any problems. I use this a lot and there’s a reason for that. Why I take a single, it’s smaller, it’s lighter, I’m, walking in here. I am up here at the camp for those new to my channel, so I need something.

I need to save some weight, somehow some way, I packed a lot of stuff with me in my bag, and you know a smaller slightly, lighter hammock is the way to go just so you know we are looking at I, do believe, just under 10 feet long just under 5 feet across exceptionally strong, fantastic color, it’s gonna. It will last me a long time.

I really do I love these. These wire gate carabiners. This hair great, really strong. The fact that it comes with a which most hammocks do I like that. It even has a strap to kind of make it as small as possible in your pack, and they have a nice big fat logo on there. They want to make sure you know you are using a Eno yeah, fantastic hammock.

Give me a second I’m going to get in it and I want to show you how my 230, pound, 510 and a half on a great day height, looks and sits inside this hammock and yes, I do wear my boots. My hiking boots or shoes in my hammocks I know with some people that’s kind of a big no-no. Sorry, I’m keeping them on I, never know what I’m going to need to get up and I don’t know run no.

They stay on I, don’t care if they’re dirty I can always wash my hammock they stay on I know some people are really kind of bothered by that I. Don’t know what to tell you so here we are nice and comfortable. Now what I really like about the sinkholes is I can do this to keep my arm inside I could still look around like II keep my arms outside I can reach for something, because when you have a double right, it’s kind of high and it really does cut you off from seeing things around you and I do have animals around me.

Not the moment. I hope. But I do so here we go again I’m 230 pounds. It has a full hundred pound weight limit. I’m good to go. Carabiners are fine. There is never any stretch at all when I get in it. It pretty much stays right where it is, whether it be the tree or the hammock itself, the straps don’t slide or move the hammock doesn’t stretch.

Yeah I mean it really is it’s so comfortable, I feel very supported, I, don’t feel at any point, I might fall or something may give something. May snap or break or rip I’ve been in here with a gun on my side? Probably shouldn’t have I bet in here with a knife: multiple knives, fixed, blade, knives, nothing happened at all, I always make sure you know they’re secure on my side, but it really is a great fantastic hammock and remember: I am under six feet five ten and a half five eleven on a fantastic day 230 most days, and it fits me just fine.

That is the review of the Eno single nest, hammock small. It’s light nice compact, stuff pouch to put in your backpack when you’re hiking, somewhere to a location or just spending time in the outdoors. It is strong enough at 400 pounds to hold two people depending on your size. I have been any of my two little boys. We will find.

Obviously it’s a single is not a lot of room. Doubles are better for that, but it will certainly hold the weight. Just may not be too comfortable. It is really easy to tighten and loosen that You have two other points at the top, where you can attach it to the trees. And again, you can tighten and loosen So when I set this up. I set it up really loosely. So I had a little bit of wiggle room on all the sides and at then at the very end, I just tightened up all those guy out lines.

We have got the tarp folded back just so you can see the bug net here. This is the Guardian SL Bug Net super lightweight And. The way you get in and out of the hammock here, one side of the bug net has a broad opening. The other side has a narrow opening So. When you are setting it up, you put the hammock through the very narrow opening so that you are able to get in and out of your hammock This is going to protect you from all those winged insects that you don’t want in your space And.

So you just climb in the hammock like that. You pull it closed, and then there is a cinch cord right at the top that cinches it down, so nothing can get in there. This is durable, yet very lightweight, and it is going to provide a lot of protection for you in the backcountry. We have pushed back the bug net, so we can talk about the Sub7 hammock As. The name suggests it is under seven ounces, six and a half ounces here So.

It is really innovative for a hammock super light weight and super packable like we talked about before And. The material here is really soft and really comfortable. It is breathable So. If you are camping and in this in warmer weather it is going to be breathable. It is not going to feel really clammy on the inside. It is nylon. Rip stop material So, though it is very light weight.

You have the rip stop in there. You have durability, The lines here that connect to the carbineer are also very durable. You have got Dyneema nylon, so really good quality materials. There And it couldn’t, be any simpler to attach You don’t. Have any cords running back and forth, like I have seen in some other hammocks The design is really simple and stream-lined It couldn’t be any simpler to string up.

There is also a stuff sack attached to the hammock here. You have got a little pocket So, you could put something in there. You want to get you hands on quickly. Really nice feature there But. Then it packs up to be really small inside that pocket. Next up is the Helios Suspension System Eagles Nest Outfitters made a really innovative suspension system here.

It makes it easy to set up And the materials here are both light-weight and very durable Again. You have got Dyneema cord and above that you have got one inch. In the backcountry, This is a really convenient system that comes with everything you need for hammock camping, hammock backpacking, where you need to be protected from those bugs those wind insects that might invade your space So. It comes in a convenient little package right here, a stuff sack that has got everything inside So I want to take everything out and just show what you get with the Junglelink First of all.
