About the nice caps men’s Thinsulate, waterproof premium winter gloves they come with yeah they’re on Amazon. They come in two different colors black or neon, yellow and black so and they come also in two different sizes, small medium and large extra-large, both Sciences or 1099. So that’s good, so for regarding colors size price features, look everything really good.
They are available for this Amazon Prime with one-day delivery, at least in our area. That’s really good, and it has yeah some a little bit of mixed reviews here. The features it’s as imported, of course, probably its China. It has 3m Thinsulate lined and what proof membrane lining insert? Yes, so not much more here, but we see 39 customer reviews, 4 2 out of 5 stars yeah Amazon is a little bit optimistic regarding this store.
So when you see the latest reviews, they are yeah we’re very mixed and you see a lot of bad reviews as well. A lot of people complaining that they are not waterproof and yeah, not very durable or waterproof. As you can see here, there are more bad reviews, not waterproof at all. You get what you pay for, yeah and so on, and so on.
So let’s go to the camera and have a live view. I bought them about one week ago and went on holiday for skiing. So this is the thing after only two days of skiing, because we didn’t have really good weather so two days of full skiing at very low temperatures around- let’s say ten degrees Fahrenheit in the morning and 20 degrees Fahrenheit at noon.
So even then, well below below freezing temperatures. So yeah thing is I mean you look at them. They are quite soft, so they are really good to wear. They are really flexible. They have this flexible band here they also has to have these velcro straps. This is really good to tighten when you have a lot of wind or yes, especially when it means Riku, and you have this extra thing here which which you can use to tighten the very end, not only here, but also the very end.
So regarding functionality, it’s really great. You also have this hook here, yeah. You have one real hook at this side, and you have this ring on the other side and you can connect and then you can connect. Do the Sabre like at your coat or whatever. So this works really good. I didn’t lose them even during the whole process, with ski rental trying the boots on trying yeah everything, so some of them I’ve I had some of them.
They were really lose and I tended to lose them. This is almost too strong, but at least you can’t lose them. That’s really good or the top material I, don’t know what it is. I would say: it’s definitely not waterproof yeah. So whatever they say, I think that yeah at least one once in the morning, I went into the gloves and I had really the impression that they have been wet not only from inside rot from outside, but I can’t prove 100% but yeah.
This is the same experience I other people had so I think they are definitely not waterproof, but they come with this 3m Thinsulate thing is 40 grams, which is standard. This is really good, so they didn’t save material if they are stating this right and if it’s really 3m Thinsulate the good thing is they don’t have to actually be waterproof to keep your hands warm.
The Thinsulate is a special material which keeps you warm even when the gloves are wet, because the Thinsulate isn’t able to soak water, so every water you which gets into the gloves it will go out, so it won’t stick to your skin. So that’s the good thing so actually also with these very low temperatures which we had from between 10 and 20 degrees Fahrenheit, my hands were still most of the time, really nice and warm.
But of course you have to keep your body your the address, the rest of your body, warm, because if the rest has cool, then your fingers cool down very very quickly. So that’s really really important. It’s not just about the gloves. It’s 90 percent of the heat you will lose from the rest of your body.
Not not you not your hands! So yeah here you see a little bit of the material that looks really good, it’s more or less durable. Here you have some kind of special material. It’s a little bit, not sticky, but a little bit more sticky than this one and it seems to be durable and the inside is more like the hard plastic.
It’s it’s not really hard plastic I think it’s some kind of PVC, but this is not super strong. You can see when we get closer to the thing. I try to make a little bit of close-up. It’s maybe a little bit difficult to see. Oh yeah, here you can see the damages. This is only from two days of skiing and no accidents.
I mean no Falls. No, nothing I mean I didn’t do any crazy thing may be holding the skis, but this is what everybody do at us. So I think regarding durability. They are really really at the lowest quality or the cover is maybe really thin, so they didn’t fall apart. Maybe they are good for one week, maybe max maximum two weeks, but don’t expect to last for one or even more seasons.
So it I think it won’t be possible, so they yeah. So as all as other people say, what you pay is what you get. This is the case here. I mean they work. If you just go for skiing once a year, you need them for a couple of days. It will be okay but yeah. If you were like a good skier, you go for skiing once a week or so this is not gloves.
These are not the gloves which you really want to buy here. You can see really a lot of damage and one of the gloves had also more damage on top like some threats, I mean not real damage, but you see they start a little bit yeah whirring out so, but the inside is really really comfortable. I have to tell you is it’s: it’s really really super comfortable you’re, a lightweight, but but the thing here this inside is a little bit too slippery for my taste.
So when you hold when you’re holding your sticks, it needs a lot of pressure. A lot of force I mean you get used that, but compared to the gloves, I was using before it I needed more power to hold my sticks safely, so yeah that could be better, but there are 10 bucks. What you pay is what you get another thing is: take your cold global warmers yeah in the online listing.
It’s nice caps whatsoever, nice yeah, something I, can’t remember exactly regarding the sizing. It’s always really important to have the correct size. I was using. The small/medium can’t remember: I, think that this is yeah. This is small/medium, I ordered also the large extra large and large extra large is really really really big, so small/medium I think probably will fit for 90% of all the people.
Also yeah, like teenagers women, so I show you the length of the fingers it’s close to four inches, as you can see not totally for Ange, maybe three and a half yeah between three and a half and four inches lengths of the fingers which matches to the length of my fingers and when you see, maybe if it helps you when I spread my fingers out it’s about nine nine inches.
Yes, okay, so yeah! If you have same size, then small/medium will be good. Total length is about same thing: nine, maybe nine and a half inches. So yeah there’s also a sizing chart on line, and it might help you a little bit with that so yeah for ten bucks. You can’t complain, but you can’t expect really pro gloves.
That’s it I hope. I was able to help you a little bit with that. If you liked the video give me a thumbs up subscribe, my channel thanks for watching and see you next time.
At these Laney winter gloves- and these were provided to me by the distributor but they’re- not compensating me for this video and they’re- not reviewing this before I post it if you’re interested in these I’ll, put a link in the description of this on Amazon. If used this link, it helps me out a little bit and doesn’t cost you anything extra. So here the gloves we have a little. Thank you here, talks about getting a free product, so here’s a little card to get a free product.
It says if you’re happy do this, if you’re not happy do that, so we have 3m Thinsulate in these, and this is 40 gram Thinsulate and it has 140 grams, warm cotton. So you can see the inside here. It’s well insulated! Let me unclip this, so these are very warm. You can cinch this down here around your coat, so that’s nice and then you can cinch this down too. So you could tuck your coat in here and then cinch it all down and then it’ll seal all the wind and snow out of your gloves.
You have like a PU leather here and then here we have I, don’t know the names of these materials, but it’s a it’s a cloth, but these are very warm I’m very impressed. I have some gloves that I paid a lot of money for they’re, not gloves or mittens, actually that I paid a lot of money for and I’m not sure these aren’t a little bit warmer, because it has that good insulating value in them.
So these are these are snow proof and waterproof and they’re ready to go down to minus 30, F and I. You know it depends on how well you heat your hand. Obviously, when it’s super cold, like that I like to throw a heat pack in mine, those little you shake them up and they heat up to keep my hands a little bit warmer and, of course, their wind resistant. You get the wind hitting your bare hand and it’ll make you a lot colder, then, if you just have any glove on, so these obviously count for that.
So I think these. These gloves would be good for people they’re skiing. Also, if you’re like out shoveling snow or something or if you’re exercising, maybe you’re pushing you know a jogging stroller or something you know doing any out activities, you could probably use these to have a snowball fight with your kids. If you’re into that kind of thing, you could pack the snowballs with these.
So you’re, not gonna. Do precision work with these. You know you can you can do things with them? It’s just not gonna be as easy with a thinner glove but they’re not made for that either. You know they’re more for bulky things. You could probably use this to ride a bike. You could probably do your shifters with it. Okay, you know it’s not super cold out. You might want to wear a lighter glove to do that, but if it’s really cold out- and you want to protect yourself- that glove like this is nice with the insulating value, I often carry a small pair of gloves in my pocket, but I like to have a big pair of gloves in my car with me.
If there’s an emergency- and you have to do something like change a tire having the big gloves to keep your hands warm are very nice. You don’t want to get frostbite because it’s something like that and your car is I’m. Gonna notice the weight, if you have these sitting on the passenger seat or in the backseat or something yeah I, always like to carry around extra gloves. So so these are the land you winter gloves.
If you have any questions about these, please leave them in the comments. If you like this video, please click like if you haven’t subscribed to my channel to appreciate, if you can do that, and thanks for watching until next time, goodbye.
