Hey guys welcome to. Another blade HQ overview today we’ll be taking a look at a Z T. This is the zero four five six to be exact. You just have to remember your numbers. And designed by Dmitri synovial. One caught my eye they unveiled. It at SHOT Show this year. You can see why some really nice color very nice lines. And a great overall design so. This is a titanium frame lock. You do have these great 3d machined handles have. Some nice texturing as. It flares kind of to the outer edges blue hardware as far as the pivot screw. That back spacer as well as the pocket clip goes tip up carry on. This for both right. And left so real quick we’ll give. You a shot of that in the pocket alright so that’s. What it looks like you are carrying this knife. You have the option of a lanyard to put on. You like it is a flipper a little bit of jumping on the outside. You can push this in as like a push button. You like to get that blade out. You can do with a more traditional draw down the light switch style it’s running on a kvt ball bearing system so nice and smooth. And then a great-looking blade.
That sheepfold with a nice round belly to. It two-tone on the high flat. It is Stone wash and then the ground satin as well as the swedge. This is a nice new interesting steel. That ZT is using it is the CTS 204 P so overall that’s. What it looks like I have to say. Ifind this to be a very attractive looking knife as far as the interior goes I’m not sure. Ishowed you the lock up there. It is does have that stainless steel insert. That works as an over travel stop. And haven’t done anything on the inside as far as reducing the weight so. This one’s going to come in at six point five six ounces overall length about 7.
And 3/4 of an inch and the blade at the grind is three. And a quarter inch so the zero four five six available from ZT. You can pick up this beauty today by clicking. That check it out buttons thanks for watching everybody. And as always have a good one.
Hey guys we just want to take a look today at the zt0 801 t. This has been out for a little. Now but there have been a lot of people who have been asking they didn’t make a version. That was a bronze and a lot of people were saying hey. We can’t find the bronze anymore why can’t. That was a sprint run. Ithink enough people were asking about. That ZT decided to release. This version which is the TI so a titanium without the bronze anodizing on. And I’m really glad. They did one of my favorite zt9. They make simply for the fact. It still has classiness to. It but also a beefiness. And a solidness to that it’s not just gonna be like a gentleman’s type folder it’s not just gonna be a hard use type knife but. It can kind of bridge the gap between the two designs a couple of things. That kind of make. That for me are gonna be. Some of these windows. That are cut out here which are pretty cool. You can see the blade as. It closes and falls through.
It just kind of gives. It a real kind of sophisticated look not typical. Something you see on a regular knife but the other cool part is you’ve got. This kind of milling along. This top edge here I don’t know. You can see it the light here but a million on the top edge. And then also on the bottom which just gives. It a nice added detail. It carries over onto the back onto the frame lock. You can see and then also up along the back of the knife here as well deployment on. This is smooth as always there using the KBT bearing system which. They are well-known for so super smooth deployment solid lockup. You just hear the Christmas. It locks into place good locked up on. This thing nice and tight. It locks up nice and early but.
You get no lock stick whatsoever so. It just pops over and then. Imean the centering as always with zero tolerance is. You know gonna be dead center in the middle of. That blade there so that’s always cool specs on. This thing I mean you’re looking at a weight of about 56 ounces so not super heavy but it’s not gonna be super light. Either just kind of nice and roll the road the size on. It is in my opinion a really good size for EDC at least for me coming into the blade length of about three. And a half inches I think on. And then as far as for your overall length it’s only 82 buts. When it’s closed up you’re looking like four point seven inches which is nice for the compact carry in the pocket. And that’s gonna be too crazy. They are using it s35vn so the steel on. This is gonna be great. One of our favorite Steel’s. Because it’s easy to sharpen but holds an edge really well.
This is a Rexford design so. This is a collaboration between zero tolerance. And todd Rexburg, and he’s done a couple other ones with them the 801 different variants on. And of course the 801 BRZ the bronze sprint run. They did but this is gonna be a great knife. If you’re just getting into zero tolerance knives. You want something that’s not going to be like their high price point but also not. One of their lower offerings than. You could pick up something like. They run for about 200 bucks. And you’ll be getting a really good quality knife with a lot of cool design features. And aesthetics that would normally come on. Something that’s all higher dollar amount. Imean ZP is an awesome company. They stand behind their products. They have an awesome warranty. You can send your knives back in for sharpening they’ll sharpen them for free. You have any issues then. They definitely will take care of. We voice have really good luck with them. They are local to we get to go up there.
And drop our knives off which is kind of nice and not. Everybody gets to do. That but nice deep carry pocket clip on here -. You do have a lanyard hole on the back so. If you’re into lanyards. And custom beads you do have. That option yeah this is just a great knife. If you’re not just getting into knives. This is a great one to add to your collection like. Isaid the action is just super smooth. And the opening deployment is nice and crisp. And I’m a big fan of. This blade shape — just kind of drop point which you’ve got a switch. That comes up to the top but. It kind of tapers so. It kind of gives that that narrower thinner feel. Though you’ve got some good stock behind. That nice stone wash blade is nice. It hides it away pretties well so check. It put it’s a pretty cool knife. If you’re in the market for something or like. If you’re not you like knives then. This would be a great.
Hey blade ops today we’re taking a look at the new zero tolerance zero 801 titanium. This is an upgraded newer version of the original zero tolerance 801 rx4 design here’s the box. It comes in you see the product code zero 801 titanium flipper s35vn so excited having the shop as always. And showing it off the 801 was a popular knife. This version the newer model is going to be. More popular I like the contouring and the skeletonized titanium handle scales let’s take a look at. It off really good milling I love. These champers are texturized smooth on top look at the frame lock design deep pocket clip from zero tolerance. You can go right or left-handed. This is a flipper that runs on the KBT ball bearing system so let’s check out the action silky smooth has a really good way to. It is skeletonized it’s about the same way as the old. One maybe a little bit lighter Rexford design on the back of course made in the US. One sports the s35vn steel as opposed to the L max on the original 801 with a lanyard hole definitely feels a lot better in the hand with those contours.
And the slightly different design on the handle check the detent there great blade so. These are two hundred dollars shipping everything included out the door map pricing from zero tolerance. They are in stock live on the website. You want to read more about the exact specs. Everybody goes chin three here. Ijust wanted to show. This knife it’s gonna be. More knife videos I really like. This knife its good size I’ll give. You the dimensions everything but. This is a made by Cricut as. You know we can say. And it’s a TIG knife TIG HB so. Ibelieve I’m pronouncing it rights. Iwanted to show this wicked blade look at. This look at this thing came so sharp it’s not. Even funny so my TIG. Ithink that’s how it’s pronounced from. What I’ve heard and researched but in case I’m running you guys can tell. Me that’s how it’s spelled. This thing is just a wicked knife it’s a three point six inch blades in length it’s hollow ground it’s let’s see it’s got a pocket clip of course right here so let. And here’s you release. It in here that’s most nice and so. You would put this way in your pocket. And of course pull it out as you’re pulling this way. And then spring-loaded. This thing is really well-made but pretty much. Everything with Cricut is so like it’s just a wicked knife so. This is pronounced my tie. Ikept saying TIG but. Ijust looked at my notes my tie kind of Rises a drink my tie so my tie that’s the way it’s pronounced so. Ikept saying TIG sorry about. That so about the knife a little bit right here German steel 55 57 Rockwell hardness it’s self assist to frame block it’s got serrations. They call these vests dubby. Imean I’m sorry V e FF. These are called vests. Imean look at these things it’s just wicked. These are really sharp the whole blade is. Icame but this is sharp. Ibought this on ebay it’s just seriously wicked. This will tear some serious meat.
Whatever it is you’re going through. You went in through a surface like. This imagines coming out going in. And coming out tearing decelerations like. Isaid are called theft by the guy who created. These ve FF so these are best in. That serrations you want to call. It the handle is I tell over steel so. This right here is and the rest right here steel as. Itells on this part right here. And that’s pretty cool it’s got a cool little design as. You can see right there it’s got two thumb studs on. Both sides some knives come with. That so it’s on either side. And they’re pretty cool they’ve never gotten loose like on. Some knives this is a right-hand carry I’m sure. You can do it on the left but there’re knives. That are made for right hand.
This is made for right hand so. This would go in your pocket like. And then you would pull. It out like and then of course activate look at. That just this thing opens up quick so anyways that’s the blade right there it’s 56 ounces by the way it’s 12 inches. And width from here too from tip to end I’m sorry 12 inches the blade is 36 inches but. Imade point 121 two inches in width is. What I was trying to say so anyways. This is just a great knife. This thing so it’s very sharp okay here’s a piece of wood just a little bit here. And then look at this with those vasser ations just. They carve into this thing look at. That look at those serrations just carve. Iwere to go down this way a little hard because of the angle but.
Igo forward just like. Isaid wicked I’d be careful playing with. These knives you know nice you’ve cut yourself. All have but be very careful of these so there’s my cricket my tie awesome knife hope. You guys enjoyed this knife review of my. One of my mini knives there’re different angles for you guys my tie that’s. You pronounce it so click on the subscribe button. Iwould appreciate it my friends have. More videos coming come. And subscribe and talk to. You soon take care and God bless.
