Hi folks what we're going to show. You today is some of the newer baits from a Gary Yamamoto custom baits. That we've come out with in for release in 2017. One of our newest baits is. This new yellow modal Zac oh. It means little fish in Japanese it's been primarily designed to be a little swim date as a chatter bait trailer. Or a jig trailer it has a really good tight really tight action on the tail the plastic there's no salt on. This bait so it has a really good tendency to float the buoyancy. It shakes really tight you're not going to get a big wobble out of. This like a big swim bait tail. Or a paddle tail it's. All a really tight wiggle on the tail really mimics the action of swimming action of a bluegill really tight wiggle on the tail so. One of the primary designs for. That has been to rig with a chatter bait as a trailer.

And so as the chatter baits really wobble working back. And forth this tail isn't getting really crazy it's just back there just giving off just. That subtle little kick butt. One of the big things about. This bait it does is the bulkiness. And the weight of it actually lets. You hold the bait down a lot. And keep it in the water column. Even lower and because of. This with the salt and it's so soft. It will compress the way it's designed for the fish bite. It will compress real easily. And get out of the way of your hook alright so. Another cool thing you can do with the new Yamamoto Zakho is.

You can just rig it on a regular round ball jig head. And swim it around there again. It won't have a lot of action to it'll look kind of boring but. You stop it settles down on at the bottom. You know as was Tennessee. This tale will actually stand up. And bring this bait up. It will it'll set there like. This like a little minnow coming down onto the bait looking for something in the rocks. You can also we've had great success with our basket leap rolls they've been Texas rigging debate. You have to use a fairly small hook. One of the best folks we've found for it is a trocar tube jig hook, so I'll have a big wide bite. And but it's short so then. You can rig it to put. It into the body and just Texas rig. It on an 8000 like and then flip. It around in the bushes. And then is a settles.

And sinks real fast. It has a really good wall to. And the tail moving don't forget sometimes. You can dip these tails a little bit of chartreuse. That extra little bluegill look on. It but fairly versatile bait. And it's being one of the. Most popular and it's been winning really well on a 2016 Vasiliy tour. Ihad a rig the new Yamamoto cycle on a ChatterBait. We have a just green pumpkin ChatterBait right here. You just want to put. It in through the nose we've got a good guideline to bring the hook up through the body. You look real close on the body there's a. Another scene about a third of the way down from the back down there so.

You want to try to keep. That hook right their in. That area just push. It in find out where your keepers are. And bring it rights through the top of the back. That a hook line is it's going to push. It up on the jig head on their make sure it's running straight on there. And there you go so. Now you've got it rigged. This adds so much more bulk to your chatter bait. You can be able to castle off farther than the other thing is it's going to hold. It in the water column a lot better so. When you're throwing chatter baits a lot of guys. You know they asked like. Where do you want to do. One of the things we'll just around the top of grass rocks just anywhere you'd really throw a crank bait. You just want to throw. It the same way it's just going to give off. That a lot more vibration.

That different look for it. You know you just reel. It really slows you get the blade going and. You feel a lot of vibration in your rod tip. One of the things they eat. This bait is you lose. That vibration so as soon as. You lose the vibration. You need to try to set the hook. And generally have fishes on there sometimes. You have grass but just always remember hook sets are free so. You just set the hook give it a good jerk. It got a lot of weight on. You know really crank down on. Even harder and give it. Another good hook set so. You can get the hook in we've got 15 colors in the Zaca we've got I've got a. Few of the newer ones right here we've got a black blue top. And a green pumpkin laminate on the belly we've got a watermelon copper.

And then an orange red laminate for those early spring cross situations. If you're in the area Great Lakes things like. Or really clear water were. You know just a lot of clear water don't need too dark color. Something more natural we've got. This electric shad and ultraviolet flake on. It does a really lot of cool things. It will actually disappear look translucent. And then your basic color just standard green pumpkin. We have a lot of variations of. Both of these I've got white. And chartreuse bluegill black. And silver we've got a lot of good variations to go with your trailers you.

morning guys little tackle tip here for you it's really foggy out. And we just got to the spot, so we're just taking our time waiting for the Sun to melt. It back I've got some finicky Pike. This week water is really cold it's like 48 degrees probably less. This morning because. It was really cold last night Berkeley power swimmer. These baits are great. They're kind of similar to a chi textile version of swim baits but. They have the power base dent in them. And all I'm doing is rigging it up here on a belly waited too late huh pretty simple take. It out of the package let them. All fall on the ground. And they're actually quite firm like. If you grab these they're a lot. Firmer so they're actually really good to use cuz.
