Board your international flight comfortably with everything you could possibly need, organized nicely in the Eagle Creek Wayfinder 40L Backpack. The largest in the Wayfinder line, this travel pack is perfect for the person who likes to travel prepared. With this pack you can bring an extra change of clothes, your old college text book and all the extra snacks you could want while still having room for the necessities. Those necessities all have specific pockets that allow you to stay organized even while rushing through the airport. A padded 17in laptop sleeve holds your personal computer, while your water bottle slips easily into a zippered side pocket and your sunglasses stay safe and sound in a fleece lined pocket. If you commuted through rain on the way to the airport there is even a self draining front pocket that allows you to stash your raincoat.
You can comfortably carry all of these items, despite their weight, thanks to the women-specific suspension system. Combining this suspension system with ergonomic shaped shoulder straps, a tuck away hip belt and a padded back panel allows you to go straight from the airport to the trail head for a short hike with confidence.

And to add comfort to versatility, this pack also has a women-specific trampoline-style suspended mesh back panel for extra breathability and support, as well as a vented-foam package to cushion your back.
Organization and comfort are huge components for hiking, but you also need to be able to move lightly and cruise through the trails. Luckily, the Aleia 32 Backpack is designed with beaver tail construction for integrated compression and storage, which lets you pack for multi-day hikes without adding unnecessary weight. This means that you store all your essentials easily and stride on comfortably.
Calling the Gregory Women’s Jade 28 Backpack a daypack is an understatement; this all-season trekker handles summer ridge runs and winter ice climbs with ease. Its Crossflo DTS suspension system features a wired X-frame that stretches trampoline-like mesh tight, and there’s an HDPE framesheet with an anti-barreling stay for sturdy support. Cushy, ventilated EVA covers the shoulder straps and waistbelt for extra comfort.
The Jade is a traditional top-loader, upgraded with a larger zippered opening for better access to gear. There’s an internal sleeve and tube port for hydration reservoirs, as well as an external pocket with a removable rain cover inside. The backpack’s bottom loops attach trekking poles or ice axes, and Gregory added dual stretch side pockets for water bottles, dual waistbelt pockets for lip balm and energy gels, and security pockets both inside and out for electronics and valuables.
This is the Gregory Jade 38 litre women’s pack. It is the perfect size for quick overnight trips or a long gear heavy day hikes. It works for both because you can load it up to the gills with 35 pounds of gear or use the compression straps to convert it into a smaller pack when it’s not full.
The back system is breathable so it’s ideal for hot humid climates and the shoulder straps adjust for the perfect fit. Let’s dig into how it carries the load. This has a free float suspension system with open air ventilation. The wire frame is made of alloy steel and fiberglass and it is designed to move and flex with you as you hike. There is a horizontal stay to provide additional stability under the weight of a heavy load. There’s also a frame sheet for additional lightweight rigidity.
The shoulder straps adjust up and down the frame and the pack comes in two torso sizes so you can find the perfect fit. The foam and the shoulder straps and the hip belt is supportive and the major contact points on your lumbar area, hip bones, and the top of your shoulders are cushioned for comfort. Gregory’s 3d comfort cradle system hugs around your lower back to give even distribution of weight. It lessens the chance of hot spots and makes a big difference when you’re carrying the pack all day long. There are many accesses points into the pack body. This is super helpful when you need to grab a piece of gear quickly and it makes packing and unpacking simpler the double zipper pulls let you position an opening wherever you want. So virtually nothing in your pack is out of reach if you put. Both zipper sliders at the top. You can open this whole panel with one motion.
The attached lid has two pockets. One up top that’s perfect for a first-aid kit and one underneath that houses the included rain cover for quick access. There’s a hydration sleeve inside and a port to route the hose to the shoulder straps those are sold separately. You can carry extra water on the side pockets and the stretchy panel in the front is a great place for your rain check.
The hip belt pockets are oversized for larger smartphones and there’s a convenient place to stash your sunglasses when you’re hiking in and out of trees. There are compression straps bungees and two loops to attach gear like trekking poles or tent poles to the outside. The areas of the pack that see the most wear and tear are reinforced like a double layer of fabric on the bottom and an extra durable material on the corners of the frame. This is a great option for long day hikes or quick overnight backpacking trips. It’s the Gregory Jade 38-liter women’s pack.
Ready for a weekend of backpacking or extended trips if you’re packing light. The Gregory jade 53 litre women’s pack. Is perfectly balanced between light. Weight features and all of those other. Features that you’re looking for organization and a pack that’s going to. Carry a heavy load comfortably now. Unlike extended trip packs where they’ve. Got heavy features this has really. Stripped-down features lightweight materials those materials are also very durable and strong and the suspension. System here really gives you the ability. To carry the load so I’m going to turn the pack around and talk about the suspension system I’ve got Gregory’s cross flow dts suspension system and. Again it’s pretty lightweight it gives. You a lot of ventilation with this. Tension back panel you can see all of that mesh there and i can put my hand. Behind it so you know that you’ve got all the ventilation that you need behind the scenes there you can see a cross pattern for the frame that is a. Lightweight spring frame and what i like. About that is it gives the rigidity that you need in the pack to give stability and to transfer the weight of the load to your hips but it will move with you. Because it’s the cross pattern it will flex a little bit as you move so this pack doesn’t feel boxy it feels like as you move going up and down hill it’s. Going to move with you and then you as well. Have behind the scenes a hdpe frame sheet that gives rigidity to but it’s. Nice and lightweight now you have a va. Foam where you need it there on the lumbar pad it’s a really comfortable lumbar pad and then behind the shoulder. Straps you have die cut foam that foam. Keeps you comfortable and unlike lightweight or ultra light. Weight backpacks this foam gives you plenty of cushioning so really. Comfortable cushioning on the shoulders and a lot of cushioning on the hip belt and the hip belt does have a little bit of rigidity to it too so it definitely carries the load well now. Obviously you’ve got your load lifter straps up here that give you some adjust ability this comes in three different sizes so you can’t actually adjust the harness up and down but you. Can use the those load lifters to dial in the fit and just choose the. Particular size that’s right for your. Torso in addition to the adjust ability. There you do have an adjustable sternum straps you can move that up and down. While I’m on the back of the pack you do have a hydration sleeve inside the pack. You can route the hydration hose out through the middle here and you even. Have a little catch here for the hose on. This side now the hydration system itself isn’t included, but they do give. You this smaller pack this can be hung. Inside of the backpack as the sleeve for. Your hydration system but you can as well. Take it out and use it as a summit pack you’ve got really lightweight and stretchy straps here so those are comfortable the material here is nice. And lightweight so it doesn’t add a lot of weight to the actual pack but you can use this as a day pack if you’re just. Summoning a peak you can use this to. Take some stuff with you or if you’re traveling and you’re just going out for the day that you can throw some essentials in this pack there’s daisy chain attachments on the front a small zippered pocket there on. That pack so it’s a really nice feature. That again doesn’t add a lot of weight to the pack that adds a lot of value the. Pockets and organization are streamlined. And simple but it gives you all the. Organization you need on the front of the hip belt you have nice big pockets i. Can see these accommodating any size smartphone you can see this mesh pocket. Here stretches out really big you could put a small camera in there or something like that so really good size pockets. There and then on the lid you have the access into the. Back I’ve got a first aid kit in their so items you want to get your hands on quickly or lightweight items can be. Stored up there on the side of the pack. You have two very stretchy meshes pockets big enough to accommodate any size water. Bottle I’ve got a 32 ounce water bottle. In there and it fits well you’ve even got a compression strap on the front so you can compress that down and if you’re. Just going on an overnight or a short trip you’ve got compression straps all over this pack to make the load a little bit smaller you have a full-size lid here. And you can store lots of gear in there so then that gives you access into the. Body of the pack there’s even a small hidden pocket back here and that’s a. Great feature for travel you’ve got really easy access into the top of the pack with a nice big opening that’s. Really easy to use and i found that this. Pull handle is really nice as well so there’re little attentions to detail make. A big difference it’s all the access you need into that big pocket then you do. Have access in a couple more areas so. Something i really appreciate about this pack you have a nice big u-shaped zipper. Here where you can access all the gear. That you need that’s in the middle of your pack it’s tucked away back here so. It doesn’t add a lot of weight to the pack but as you can see i can open that. Up nice and wide almost like a piece of luggage and get to all the gear that’s in the middle of the pack so i can grab for whatever i need if you’re traveling. With this pack taking it overseas you can use it like that so really nice almost hidden pocket there. And then down on the bottom you have access into a sleeping bag compartment down there these zipper poles are so. Easy to use, and they make it nice and easy to get to the bottom now there is a. Divider in between the bottom and the. Middle of the pack but you can tuck that away if you need full access into the whole pack now also behind the scenes there is a. Hidden rain cover the rain cover is. Custom fit for the pack and it’s in its own designated pocket right here so rain cover matches the pack and it. Adds a lot of value so you don’t have to purchase a separate rain cover in the. Front a nice stretchy dump pocket too and then as you can see all over the. Front of this pack you’ve got two loops you’ve got straps here that you can. Attach a sleeping pad this is actually removable and you’ve got trekking pole bungees up here so there’s plenty of. Features here you can use this pack in a lot of different ways but all of those. Features don’t add a lot of weight to the pack, but they add a lot of organization and with all the features that you get here it’s a really great value it would work in a lot of. Different situations from a quick overnight to a weekend to traveling overseas it’s the Gregory jade 53 women’s. Backpack. You.

A backpack typically means you are in school or going to work. Not only that New York was a place to show off your backpack choice. At least that’s what I think as soon as I got back to Colorado I couldn’t wait to look for a stylish functional bag. I learned quickly that that is hard to come by. Therefore I ventured beyond the realm of camera bags and into more stylish bag department but can carry my camera gears. All items in a video can be found in inscriptions.
Meet the North Face access 22-liter. Yes, it can stand some back stance and wobble. This bag will stand with determination. I believe that a true everyday carry back for man should be able to stay erect. One imagine. You’re in public bathroom. If your back can stand only the bottom gets dirty I’ll do what. I do and get yourself a carabiner and hang to a back that can stand is an independent bag who don’t need. no man the back of this backpack. It is extremely technical and can be compared with hiking or camping bags.
The North face has put some dots into it they call it flex vent. From only many hiking bags I can tell you that the technology put in the excess works. There’s a bend in the middle of the bag. So only the bottom and the top of the bag touched your back. This gives more rooms for air to circulate through. There are indentations so that air can go through from top bottom left and right. It is also rigid so it can hold its shapes.
The strap is minimal and I love minimal. You won’t find extra pocket on the straps and even the buckle is integrated within the strap itself. This was one of the reason why I chose this bag instead of the newest version of the xs. If you put your fingers through the back of the shoulder straps you can feel the EVF foam that it uses to save on weight and for better air flow. Chest straps connection is hidden inside a slip very thoughtful design. A logo placement is understated which I like since I usually taped over the brandings. What I did not like is that there isn’t a way to manage the loose end of the soda straps. Therefore I had to tape them together. The chest straps cannot be put on one side when not in use gonna pick design everyday backpack. The left side of the pocket is plain. Just arrow designed to put more emphasis on the overall black exterior.
Hi everyone I’m brian from series design today we’ll be reviewing the north face access 2.0 twenty-five liter backpacks this is an updated version to a previous. Backpack that the birthdays have previous versions were i believe 22 and. 28 litres this one sits right in the middle of 25 litres and what drew me. Like a moth to a flame was being an industrial designer i love the techie nosov it i love the details on it i love the sleek molded finish of it. I love the contrast of the shiny. Materials to the matte materials the. Molding details of such things like this and of course the closure system if. You’re looking for a backpack that is an excellent commuter bag you couldn’t go. Wrong with something like this it’s going to protect all your valuables it’s going to securely protect all your. Valuables and that has a locking device and it’ll protect them from theft and. From damage because this semi hard shell. And all the padding on the inside is exactly what the doctor ordered if you’re looking for that type of thing let’s talk about the outside it has a. Small closure to that closure pocket in. The front for some small valuables i. Don’t know what you would put in their figure that out on the road it has these. Two gore elastic pockets will be for. Your water bottle or a book or whatever. You might need them for is one on each side you seem very sturdy the whole thing is. Super sturdy that is basically a semi. Hard shell and again that’s going to. Protect everything on the inside so it’s. Not exactly a hard shell it’s somewhere. In between again i said it was a backpack on the back you have the straps. The path this padded straps are very. Well shaped I’m always a stickler for. That they’re very well shaped or very. Well to provide you with a lot of support got a grab here and up here you have a sternum strap here to help it fit it has a molded back panel to contour to. Your back but also let the warm air out. To make it a little bit cooler points on. Your body the other exterior and largest exterior pocket which is towards the. Back is a pocket that holds a 15-inch. Laptop the laptop fix it here very. Nicely i have lying right here it fits. In very well and very securely when it’s. On your back you’re not gonna have to worry about that what a nice to have. Included the locking mechanism with that. So when we draw back is when you do have. The laptop in the back pocket and you do. Not zip it all the way you don’t sip it. All the way you open it to hear this. Handle latch is a metal latch and it’s a. Little bit shock on the backside and i tend to scrape the back of my hand on it which is fairly abrasive. The other cool thing that i did not tell you about i would be remiss if i wouldn’t skip it is that it has the. Laptop is suspended in this pocket it is. Suspended about two inches off the bottom so when you place it up on the ground or the subway train or the. Sidewalk or whatever your backpack is. Suspended it’s not going to get damaged or dinged on the outside and that is a. Feature that i absolutely love because i. Love my devices the other feature along with that slave is they put in this. Handle here which you hold up in your. Laptop and pop off up to the top if it were that access again probably to get you. Past that latch right there and do not. Have you scraped it back your hand but. That’s function very well the inside and. Getting to the inside is the most exciting feature of the whole thing what absolutely loved was the latch mechanism. It’s a north face watch that they’ve. Designed specifically for this and what it does is it latches this whole hood is. On a hinge system and it basically snaps. Chop it up pull this out so it’s not. Something like this i like the fruit it’s opened up a little bit broader but again well I’ll protect the earth car or valuables on the inside and the. Shall here or the limited opening you actually do that’s a nice contrast lining i love that yellow line it could’ve been. Something a little bit less yellow but i. Do love the yellow oh it has the pockets in the back and have the key latch of course everybody needs that it has a small zipper pocket right here they can. Put your valuables in a pocket on the other side where you could put an iphone. Or a wallet or something like that it. Does have my pad pocket again suspended. On the inside with a pole notch here so. It just comes right out another cool feature again this is super high on the techie scale i love all the techie aspects of it i love the mesh pocket in. The front here which is very easy access not quite as tight as the pockets in the back all these pockets are. Padded on both sides and padded exterior. The whole exterior shell as i said is padded so again volume wise it says it’s. 25 liters it’s my only my biggest complaint about the whole backpack is it’s probably closer to 22 on the inside. It may be thirty on the outside on the inside it’s probably close to 22 or. Something it’s very tight but if you’re looking for a commuter bag you’re looking for a school bag this is probably a great bag. For me because I’ll be putting my laptop and I’ll be putting my camera I’ll be putting my lenses any other valuables that i might have might go in here and i. Now that they’ll be fully protected and taking care of the designers thought of virtually everything it stands up by. Itself i have a pet peeve about. Backpacks the way they always fall over when they’re fully loaded and this one i. Have loaded it completely up and it does not fall over at all it stands up nice. And proud and it should that’s the access 2.0 from north face a. Great commuter bag thanks for watching.
Hi everyone I’m back with another first. Impressions video of the north face. Access backpack version — this is the 22. Liter this has been a pretty interesting. Bag for me to try I’ve only had it for about a week so I’m not gonna do the whole rating thing I’m like i wanted i want to test this out for a while before. I give a final verdict on this but i can. Talk about the build quality and i can talk about the design right off the bat because i think is a very cool looking bag it’s a very clean looking bag. It’s super clean looking um this has one. Side pocket this other pocket looks like it does but it does not but it has. Everything that i need on the 22 liter is just the right amount of space for me. The design i think it looks really. Really nice this ribbed front is a. Pretty cool design choice the materials. It’s like a it’s like polyester and then the ballistic nylon i think they. Call it but it just feels really. Nice i got the one with the designs on. The side you can i know if you can see them with a light here but it’s got like this cool little pattern along the side and then the profile of it is actually. Pretty nice too because the opening mechanism and I’ll talk about that in a second but that’s probably one of the coolest things about this bag is it’s. Almost completely separate from the laptop compartment so it actually rests up against your back a little nicer because this sticks out a little bit this is a little straighter and this kind of leans forward a little so you can kind of see the you can kind of see the angles kind of colliding there but it works really nice the main. Attraction here is this guy so there is. A lock on this were so you can’t get to. It unless you pop open the release which. Is there and now you can lift this and. And that’s your bank so organizationally. This isn’t going to break any barriers for organization. We’re badged there but that’s kind of what you’re looking at organizationally you get a little bit of a little bit organization on the side here a laptop a. Tablet sleev which i don’t have a tablet so that kind of stays empty for me but you get to zipper pockets right here. Very nice quality zippers by the way and then you get a bigger mesh pocket like. On this side so it actually looks like it’s a very narrow opening but it opens up it opens up pretty good so all the way to the bottom of the bag there’s a there’s a bigger opening past that first entry so you can fit a pretty good amount of things and then you get like a little mesh a little stretchy pocket right here on the front too so there are pockets pretty. Thoroughly spread out in the bag which is really nice but this is probably my. Most favorite part about the bag this feels really this is really nice really cool-looking oh look at a few more times. Cuz it’s really nice see that a bonus it. Stands up on its own so this feels a lot like the peak design bag and that is very rigid it looks pretty good. No matter what you’re packing in there but and then the build quality I’d say. It’s its up there it’s a really nice build quality of really nice materials and this just man it doesn’t. Get old i can do this all day and. There’s a lock so you can’t get in there. Anymore the laptop compartment again. Very nice zippers like that little song. I actually find that quite pleasant when I’m riding my bike i like hearing that little jingle but there’s a. Laptop compartment it has a little. Little sleeve there so it pulls your laptop out so you can go in there and grab it. There is an option to just slide it up and all the way there you can get to your laptop a lot easier it is very suspended so if you can tell. From here but it is not resting on the. Floor at all this is very suspended and it’s part of its part of this little lever action that they have going on and yes there is another pocket back. Here which i keep my power bank. And my charger cable very nice. Thoughtful access pocket location cuz. This would have been wasted space otherwise but i liked that they gave me. Space to put just small things but things that i don’t use every single day but that i absolutely need like when. They need them like i really need them i can’t let go an hour without them i know that they’re always there for me so and then yeah the color it’s yellow. Bright yellow i would prefer the orange they have one that looks orange but that’s flat black it doesn’t have like the nice little designs on the side but. It’s totally fine to that green it’s. Nice it’s bright i feel like the orange. Won’t stain won’t show dirt as much but. Maybe that’s wrong i don’t know the cool. Think it has these little pool tabs which you can get to your stuff i don’t. Have anything here now because I’m actually using some of my stuff right now but i keep my mouse in here i have. The surface of flex mouse. Whatever they call it so it lays flat it snaps flat when you’re not using it’s excellent for office use and stuff that. You have to pack as it doesn’t take up any space at all so you have these two. Quick access flaps and pull stuff up and. Here i have nothing fancy i just have my gum because i don’t actually put my phone in my bag when I’m carrying it or. When I’m writing when I’m writing i like to put my i like to put my phone right. Here because i play music through the speaker that way i can listen to music without happens to put headphones in my ear which i think is very dangerous if you’re on your bike um so yeah I’ll put. My phone in here and i was a blast music for the speakers and it is the perfect volume for me the whole way so yes my phone goes here i don’t ever use these for phones but that’s just me. But yes two little pen pocket holders. Here again this is a nice light doesn’t go all the way to the bottom that’s as deep as that goes so in theory since i. Don’t have a tablet i could fit this up here and that actually fits perfect but. I find that it makes that opening too small now like it’s hard for me to get stuff in there because it’s so it’s so tight in there now so I’d rather I’d rather just take this out and just put it at the bottom so i have a little more. Room to get in there now it is a petite bag so you’re not able to fit a. Bunch of stuff in here and I’ll go to that my long-term review as i pack different types of loads in here but i. For sure can fit my shoes i can fit my. My utility pouch for my bike tools and i can fit a sweater and a. Shirt and that is probably the most that I’ll ever carry I’ll carry maybe my keyboard and that fits in here just fine. It’s the tankiness keyboard so it’s not the full sized keyboard but i can fit. Everything that i need in here without any problems it is really the. Perfect size and yeah it’s got the. Little key lanyard thing but i use that just for my office keys but yeah great. Build material awesome design i really. Really really like the look of this bag these access pockets these. Don’t go all the way through there are two separate pockets layered on top of each other so you can keep very thin things in here like a little thin notebook or keys or wallet i put my keys here so i swing this stuff around. My side here so i can get to the side pocket and i can get to this one take my. You lock out by your life does fit in here by the way but i have to collapse it and I’ll talk about that in my long-term review because it doesn’t fit. In all the way i have to leave it open so i break it apart and i put the big. Tube in first then i put the actual you in there and then if it’s if it’s fine. And then this i just eat my you know i love a white pea when i get to. Work like a disgusting pig so i can wipe myself down yeah that’s a quick first impression of. This bag I’m gonna use it for maybe. About a month or two maybe longer i don’t know if I’m gonna find another bag that maybe i like again i obsess about bags and it is not healthy um but the. Rate of bags that I’ve been getting is not very common for me um so that might slow down because i don’t I’m not that. Type of reviewer where i get bags from people i have to buy all of my stuff so. I don’t know if in a month I’m gonna. Find something else that catches my eye but for now this is it be looking out. For usability like real-world usage. Review when i can talk about quality of life durability stuff like that so maybe. About a month maybe a little over a month I’ll come back and talk about a full review and incorporate the rating. System onto this bagg but yeah right off. The bat design build quality is top-notch for me i mean just look at. This thing it looks kind of like a bullet it is a perfect size it doesn’t. Go too high up on my back it’s comfortable this isn’t this dissing this isn’t very. Hard it looks like it’s hard plastic it’s not it’s actually like a dense foam. Enjoy it funs it useful i have any questions shoot me messages and I’ll try. To respond same day thanks.
You don’t have time to make adjustments on the trail when you can see your objective in the distance. Deuter understands. That’s why they made the Aircontact SL 60+10L Backpack which is decked out with features that are fit for comfort. The Active Fit shoulder straps contour to your shoulders while the Vari Flex belt echoes the movement of your hips with micro-adjustments. As the trail steepens, you can secure your trekking poles to the designated attachment which doubles as an ice axe carry in high-altitude terrain.
Using a meticulously designed back panel pattern, Deuter decreased perspiration by 15% with the Aircontact Back System which, through a pump effect, circulates air with every movement. But before you even get started on the trail, the pack fits securely to your back so the load is close to your center of gravity. Adjusting the load straps, shoulder straps, padded hip belt, and VariQuick panel turns this pack from off-the-rack to custom fit.
With a sleek and athletic design and durable abrasion resistant materials, the Deuter Air Contact 75 plus 10 is a load hauling pack capable of extended backpacking and trekking.
Let’s take a look at its features. First I want to take a look at the suspension system on this pack and how it handles a heavy load. So on the back side of the Air Contact 75, we’ve got the Deuter Air Contact suspension system. It’s a really sturdy and durable suspension system as capable of carrying a lot of weight. We’ve got a nice aluminum ex frame in the system. Here provides a lot of structure but also grants flexibility and there is a durable frame sheet in there as well.
For some additional structure and protection for your back, we’ve got really nice beefy air mesh padding here. So you’ve got a lot of comfort enhancement with that suspension system and it is an extremely adjustable suspension system as well. Right in the shoulder harness here we’ve got Deuter’s very quick suspension system. It’s a very easy kind of ladder-lock system that makes it simple to adjust torso size. All you have to do is break that velcro away and you can use these tabs here to adjust this torso up and down depending on your torso size and a really neat feature is up in those load lifter areas is that you’ve got two different kinds of points of adjustment. So for the smaller torso folks out there you’ve got a lower adjustment point to make sure you still get those a nice load lifter adjustments and for those larger torso folks.
You’ve got that upper adjustment point. That harness is also an active fit harness so it’s designed to pivot with you when you’re moving. It will reduce the chance of any abrasion or hot spots on your shoulders and the soft edges on those shoulder straps certainly enhance that as well down in the hip belt. We’ve got a multi-layered reinforced hip belt with really nice beefy padding down there. So very durable, very comfortable padding on the hip belt and also very supportive. It also is Deuter`s very flex hip belt so it’s kind of independent system there where it allows a lot of flexibility for the hips. So you can still move freely while you’re hiking and it still provides that structure and that comfort and transfers the load down to your hips effectively so excellent durable and comfortable suspension system in the Air Contact.
We’re going to turn the pack back around and take a look at the access points and how we access our gear. So if we do have kind of traditional top loading style pack on the pack here, so we have a nice big floating lid, and we’ve got two buckles on the front just undo those and it’ll throw that hood back.
We’ve got a really large kind of oversized spindrift collar on the pack so if I undo that buckle. There’s also a little toggle here we can open up that spindrift collar and really show how large it is. So it kind of extends a little bit higher. So you can overstuff this pack and like I said that hood is floating so you can really add a lot of gear to this pack. That’s where you kind of get your 75 plus 10 naming you get an additional 10 liters of capacity with that oversized spindrift collar.
Another really neat access point for the 75 plus 10 is the front of the pack. It kind of has this large u-shaped zipper so you can access this pack like a piece of luggage. So this entire front panel on the backpack actually hides a nice zipper so if I undo those buckles at the bottom open up that zipper you can see that. We’ve got a really large entry point in the middle of the pack so that will allow you to get to any gear. You may have tucked inside the middle of your items whether they’re small things you need to access or anything like that. You can access them very simply without dumping all the contents out of the top of the pack. So really nice convenient access point in the center of the backpack and of course we do have a sleeping bag compartment on the bottom of the pack. At the very bottom where this air contact 75 + 10 names is we’ve got another u-shaped zipper there for your sleeping bag. You can open that up. Store your sleeping bag there if you want to or any other gear and if you choose to you can separate these compartments with this zippered divider here or you can have one main large compartment with that separation just. divided.
You can simply unzip it and it will give you one large access point. Some additional features. All in the Air Contact includes a separated included rain cover. So on the bottom of the pack, there is a small zippered pocket. So right down here we’ve got this blue tab and if you open that up down tucked underneath that reinforce the bottom of the pack. We’ve got an included rain cover so adds a lot of value to the backpack. A lot of versatility and keeps you protected when an unexpected storm comes by so nice additional bonus with that rain cover. We do have sleeping pad straps on the bottom of the pack. So you can lash a sleeping pad or any other gear to the bottom of the pack there. They also double as compression so you can compress the load at the bottom of the pack we do have two loops as well.
At the very bottom, we’ve got these nice durable tool loops, and we’ve got a bungee tie off up here. So you can cinch those down easily. You’ve got some reinforced daisy chain attachments on the front of the pack so you can lash some more gear there.
On the sides, we do have our standard stretch water bottle pockets, and we’ve also got bottom and top compression so you can really cinch down the load nice and easily. If you have a water bottle in there that might be a little smaller you can use that compression strap over the top to make sure it stays put. So nice benefit there, and we’ve got this small pocket on this side. A good map pocket. It’s a very low-profile pocket very thin. It would be great for maps or any smaller items that you may want to store there.
We do have a hydration compatible system with this pack. So on the inside, there is a sleeve. You can kind of store that hydration bladder or reservoir and you’ve got h2o port on this side. It’s a very simple and convenient in there. We do have a zippered pocket on the hip belt so small sized zippered pocket great for clif bars snacks, small cell phone. If you want to store that there or anything else you may want to store close at hand excellent little hip belt pocket there. We do have some pockets on the hood of the pack as well. So at the top we’ve got a pretty small pocket here but you can definitely store a lot of gear in there.
Smaller things like filters extra food any type of book or math you may want to keep there. Good pocket on the top of the pack for that, and we also have a pocket on the underside. It’s a zippered valuables pocket so things you may want to keep stored a little more securely. Got that zippered valuables pocket underneath another cool feature — that hood is that we’ve got this sos label. So on the very top on the underside of that hood, we’ve got a really cool sos label. That just kind of gives you an idea of how to alert somebody if you’re in an emergency situation. There’s a few instructions and there you have it full of trail-friendly features, durable materials, a sleek athletic design and load hauling capability. It’s the Deuter Air Contact 75 plus 10.
