Again a ski that you can take anywhere from groomers into the trees a really nice bump ski and then also you know something you can start skiing in softer snow.

To construct such a light, approachable ski, Atomic started with a minimalist profile and added strength in the areas of the ski that need it the most. The poppy poplar core keeps the Vantage 97 damp and stable, and carbon mesh from tip to tail ensures full-length stiffness for a smooth feel. Complete with full sidewalls for extra stability and superior edge hold on hardpack, this ski is your key to unlocking all-mountain fun, no matter what the conditions.
hi I’m sean with atomic skis and I’m. Here today to talk to you about the atomic vantage 95 c for women the. Vantage 95 c is lighter and stronger and more capable than it’s ever been thanks to carbon tank mesh and an all-mountain rocker profile making the ski versatile and soft snow and incredibly fun on hardpack snow the. Hi I’m jake from atomic here talked about some of the exciting new products for 1819 one of the new all new products. In our range is our entire vintage family of skis here i have the new 97 ti. So a 97 millimeter waist width with a ti. Tank mesh reinforcement so one of the. Unique things about the vintage series of skis is the pro light construction so. Really keeping things minimal and super thin and lightweight where we can but then reinforcing and really making this ski doesn’t sacrifice any energy or performance or stability on any of the train out there vantage is purpose-built. For all-mountain versatility the ti version and a 97 millimeter waist width is for advanced to expert level skiers looking to tear up the entire mountain you can rip front side groomers on it and shred off-piste and chalk and chunder wherever you want if you’re looking for a high-performance ski to charge the whole mountain on the 97 ti is perfect for you.
Remember that time your friends thought you wouldn’t eat that ultra-spicy pepper? It went a lot like that time they thought you wouldn’t hit that ultra-steep tree line. Keep silencing the doubters with the Rossignol Spicy 7 Ski. The lightest and thinnest member of Rossignol’s 7 series, this versatile all-mountain ski is sure to put some spice in your shred.
Its 86mm waist provides stability and edge control when you’re ripping the groomers, with enough width to hold its own when you get a bit of fresh snow. Especially so with Rossignol’s freeride rocker, which balances a rockered tip and tale with a stable camber underfoot, giving you the best of both worlds as you float better in the soft stuff and get a smoother hold when you’re charging it. With Rossi’s Air Tip you’ll get stability at speeds and lightweight maneuverability and float at the tip, letting you bounce through moguls and fresh woods with ease. A lightweight wooden core offers versatility for use as a touring ski, letting you explore further and ensuring that your lines will stay as hot as a habenero.
The Rossignol Women’s Soul 7 Ski isn’t the biggest, burliest, or hard-chargingest ski out there, but it’s the perfect tool for skiers who like to ski hard all over the mountain, and are more worried about having fun and skiing well than being the gnarliest person on the mountain.
Rossi’s 7 Series has been around for years now, starting with the game-changing S7, and the Soul 7 keeps things pretty true to the “fun-shaped” heritage of that ski. The Super 7 and Squad 7 are bigger and burlier, but the Soul 7’s 106mm width and versatile Powder Turn Rocker help it conquer any type of snow and all types of terrain, from deep blower to leftover crud to wind-buffed cream cheese to groomers. Powder Turn’s large amount of tip splay smooths out rough snow and helps you float through the deep, and the camber underfoot provides plenty of stability and edge grip when you’re pinching the throttle on the way back to the lift. This season Rossignol has upped its honeycomb Air Tip game with Air Tip 2.0, lightening the swing weight by 15% to further reduce the chatter and flap that haunted old-school tip rockers.
By building the core out of lightweight paulownia wood, Rossignol kept the Soul 7 quick and maneuverable, and it reduced the weight to make it more backcountry friendly. A slightly squared-off tail allows easier skin attachment. Vertical sidewalls give the ski a bit more edging power and a more hard-charging look. And, while it’s nice and light, the race-inspired Carbon Alloy Matrix in the core keeps things stiff enough to charge when you’re feeling aggressive.
What’s up skiers I’m jeff from ski. Essentials calm here to talk about the. 2017 rossignol soul 7 hd chances are. You’ve seen this black and yellow ski on your local hill this is the 2016 sol 7. Rossignol came out with this ski a few years ago and ever since it’s been one. Of the most popular skis on the market it’s very maneuverable it’s very versatile can carve turns on groomers. But it does really well off-piste. And then the even in powder so yeah. Really popular ski i got tons of. Great reviews and they’ve changed it so. So why change it well really the only negative feedback. That rosin will receive on the original. Sole seven was from really aggressive or. Or just heavier skiers and those skiers. Felt that it was a little bit unstable. And lacked a little bit of torsional stiffness for a really high speed aggressive skiing especially aggressive. Skiing on firm groomed snow or through. Kind of choppy variable conditions so. What Ross wanted to do is they want to. Add torsional stiffness to the ski and a. Little bit of strength while retaining that playful lubert will feel that the. Ski has become known for and really. The reason why it’s been so popular the past few years to accomplish that now as menaul has added carbon to this something that we’re seeing. Across the industry right now it’s a very popular material for speed construction rossignol has done a little. But different there their technology is. Called carbon alloy matrix now you probably won’t be able to see it on this video because it is pretty subtle but when you have a pair in your hand you can actually see that the new construction of the ski it’s kind of woven into the core so it’s not a complete sheet of carbon fiber but it. Does it do its job now it has received. A couple mixture use from some people. Out there that that didn’t maybe necessarily think they should have changed it, but we think probably really. Accomplished what they set out to do i personally have blast skiing this. Ski i think it’s still very playful. Very maneuverable but i found i could. Make really aggressive powerful turns where on the older soul seven i think. This ski would have been shattering i think it probably wouldn’t have held an edge as well as we’re skiing in spots. Some pretty icy terrain and this he still held tell me that you really love. The carbon fiber definitely adds that desired extra torsional stiffness and. Stability but it doesn’t add that much. Weight to the ski unlike a sheet of. Metal that that was made this ski very heavy it’s still really lightweight still kind of retains that pivoting. Maneuverable feeling but now you can. Actually get up on any charge on it so if you’re nervous but rosin will kind of. Ruin the great ski don’t be it’s still. Still, a phenomenal ski for people that like lightweight maneuverable skis but. If you’re more aggressive. You wanted a little bit more stability out of it’s got that now rossignol. Did an early release of the sole 7 hd as. Well as the new experience 88 hd you’ll. Find both of these skus on ski essentials calm right now so yeah that’s. The 2017 the rossignol soul 7 hd. Definitely try and get a pair in your hands check it out the car with instruction and if you can try and get out on a pair and ski it because i think most people out there will be really happy with Ross with what brasi did to this ski.
Hi I’m todd mirrors with rossignol here at christy sports to speak with you about the brand-new women’s soul seven hd at 104 in the waste this is a great. Platform of a ski that floats in powder with ease but still turns very quickly down the front side of the hill this ski. Is going to be Apollonian wood core which is a bit lighter and a bit stiffer than poplar that we use in a few other models it also features our carbon alloy matrix material which is a weave that gets placed into the construction of the ski allowing the ski to be a bit more torsion ally rigid and true feeling without adding to the weight of the ski we also have our brand-new air tip. Technology which is quite a big. Innovation from our first run of our sole 7 product we’re using a visco. Material here inlaid into the tip of the. Ski to allow the ski to have a. Significant reduction in tip chatter and a much more complete feel when. Skiing this if you’re looking for a ski that floats in powder but still turns very well down the front side of the hill making a solid one ski quiver this. Is your ski come check it out at christi sports. You
Five years I’m jeff from skin essentials comm we are here today to do another. 2018 ski review it’s been a few weeks. Since our last review but we’re kicking. Back off with our 1st 2018 rossignol. Will be continuing 2018 ski. Reviews through the summer into next fall and in late june or early july. You’re also going to see a bunch. Of material from our first annual ski. Test we had about 30 to 35 testers at. Stone mountain resort testing about 150. Pairs of skis so you will be. Releasing results from that test later in the summer but in the meantime we’re going to keep doing some review reviews for you. Guys so this week it’s the 2018. Rossignol soul 7 hd will do a brief. History of the sole 7 I’m guessing the. Most of you’re familiar with it because it is a pretty popular ski if we go back. To seasons this is the 2016 sole 7. Basically this was a wood core ski. Matala the sole 7 we’ll start by saying the sole 7th always been kind of. Powder oriented or wider all-mountain. Ski that’s known for being very. Maneuverable very lightweight and. Pretty approachable for not just. Advanced and expert skiers you can be a solid intermediate skier and. Get a lot out of a sole 7 so yes 2016. This ski was wood core pretty much just. Wood and in the core of the ski and then. Roswell’s honeycomb air tip which has. Kind of become synonymous with their skis and with the 7 series in. Particular so you know huge following. Behind the sole 7 people that want like. I was saying I’m a new verbal ski that’s great and stuff snow great for trees. Great for skiing bowls pretty much any. Anything if you soft snow the sole seven is awesome the one complaint that some more aggressive. Skiers had which we touched on a lot for. The 2017 review that you can go back and watch and read was instability people. Felt like the ski got deflected a little bit if you are seeing choppy snow especially at high speeds i was pretty easy for the tips to get. Thrown side-to-side you hit something. I also lacked a little bit of torsional stiffness and edge hold we’re not always. On soft snow after all so it’s nice to. Have the ability to hold an edge on a groomer these are 106 underfoot which definitely. Traditionally is much more of a powder ski but these days with a ski that’s 106. Underfoot most of us are expecting it to have some groomer performance so last. Year they put carbon alloy matrix into. The ski basically a woven grid of carbon. That increases torsional stiffness gives. It more stability and it definitely. Improved the ski i go back and check out. Review from last year if you want to get more details and now moving into 2018. Carbon alloy matrix remains in the in. The 2018 ski really the big change to. This ski well there’s a couple this is a. Brand new mold so in years past the. Changes to the sole seven have been internal you know they’ve been construction changes different materials. But they’ve kept the same shape both. Both in the side cut profile and the rocker profile moving into 2018 it’s. Changed if you can see these are two. Different lengths so it’s a little bit tough to make them look identical but there’s more rise in the tip in the tip. Now basically the same out of the tail but it is a slightly different shaped tail and their different side cut. Profile too but it’s pretty subtle. These now have an 18-meter turn radius in the 180 where this is a 172 the last. Year is 180 or really any 180 up to this. Point has a 17-meter turn radius so a little bit longer turn and that’s that’s. The big difference in the shape and then construction wise it’s a brand-new tip. And brand-new construction so they call. This air tip 2.0 and it’s essentially. Designed to be lighter and stronger which you know that’s that’s something that we say a lot in these gear reviews, and they’ve done that but essentially. Extending the length of it but adding in. These they call three-dimensional. Reinforcements you can kind of see it in the tip and it integrates more into the. Core of the ski than ever before. You can kind of think of it the previous. Versions of basalt seven almost had two. Different personalities especially if we’re talking about the 2017 version underfoot very torsion ally stiff thanks for the carbon alloy matrix and. Then the tips and tails were very light very soft tremendous swing weight the. New ski it’s definitely got a more even. Flex throughout the ski that was. Something that i really noticed when i was seeing it feels a little silver. Part of the point of the to exit 2.0 is. To further reduce deflection and i. Definitely think it does that i don’t. Think i would have described the previous versions of this all seven hd. Or sol 7 as being exceptionally smooth. They were very energetic very quick very. Easy to throw around but they said they. Weren’t nearly as smooth as this loose key it’s still easy to throw around actually reduce the swing weight even. Further this by sending this tip but have given. It more strength more power basically. Because of the reinforcements that then integrates into the ski so I’ve been. Describing it as it’s more of a single entity now in terms of performance. Now that i say that i could understand why somebody would perceive that as a negative in terms of versatility but. That’s not what i mean at all its more the feel of the ski from tip to tail. It really feels it feels like it the. Whole thing wants to work together where. Previously you know you were kind of fighting to get some edge grip underfoot while you had this maneuverability and quickness some of the tips and tails i think it holds an edge better now and it’s equally as mutable some kinds of. Change that saying easy performance and soft snow so I’ve been referring to them. As blacker’s which is a little bit of a. Metaphor how easily black sea’s are synonymous with being a little bit more. Ski or more powerful or burlier and i. Think that’s a fair assessment for the new sol 7 it’s not outrageously perlier. It’s not like they added two sheets of metal to it but it’s a different ski so. If you’ve been you know if you’ve been skiing that’s all seven for a few years and you’ve been wondering what to replace it with i would say replace it. With a new soul seven and then you know if you were a skier that shied away from. The sole seven because you thought it was not quite enough ski maybe you skied. It and you felt that that tip deflection maybe you felt a little bit of chatter. These new tips really don’t shatter at. All especially compared to the previous. Version so yeah definitely check them. Out that’s the 2018 sole seven like i said. We will be releasing a lot more a lot. More info on this ski when we released. The results from our ski test you’ll get. To see what i think we had seven or eight different testers that’s keep those well seven on so you get to read reactions from a whole slew of people instead of just myself although i do try and integrate some feedback from our my co-workers as. Well but yeah new soul seven the seven. Series has been on the market for a long. Time you’re still going to see a ton of black and yellow rog mills on the hill but now they’re blacker.
The Salomon Women’s X Max 110 Ski Boot has all the elements of a performance-first boot, but throws a generous helping of comfort into the mix so you can ski fast and hard from first to last chair. A stiff 110 flex is suitable for advanced to expert lady shredders, and the 98-millimeter last, while narrow, can be expanded to about 104 millimeters, thanks to Salomon’s easy heat molding process. Salomon designed this boot with an oversized pivot, which reduces play and increases precision and power transmission.
The liner is thermo-moldable, too, with thermo-moldable inserts that prevent pressure points and ensure a secure fit, and is women-specific, meaning that it has a slightly lower cuff and volume to give you the best possible fit and feel. Fuzzy material on the inside of the liner delivers plush comfort and warmth, which you’ll appreciate on the coldest days of the season.
Okay so this is gary gannett realm of sun valley in san mateo california helm sports calm and in this video i want to cover the sum and xmax 90 this is a boot. For or for women and it is a ninety. Eight millimeter last boot which is going to fit a b with two ac with kind. Of foot very well but more importantly. This boot hat is custom shall it’s a. Different kind of material where we heat. The shell up in an oven to about 200 degrees and then put it on your foot and wherever you have a bony prominence or if your foot or four foot is wider or any part of your foot is wider the shell physically moves out and takes the shape. Of those wider areas or those bony prominences and you’re on your foot so. It’s quite an advancement in boot up in. Boot technology it’s really amazing not. Only that it has some thermal moldable. Materials in the liner too and what that is an intuition like material. Closed-cell foam that gets heated up also during the customization process and it further does some sculpting to. You to your foot so it really is quiet. A good fitting boot and fits many types of feet because of that custom show this is not a walking boot so it’s. A little bit less of money because of that typical sole that sort of thing but. A great boot for a lady who is a good. Intermediate to advanced level type of. Skier and it’s been extremely popular here at home so yeah if you found this. Video helpful please give me the big thumbs up down at the bottom and if you have any cuts any questions or comments you can comment down in the comment section that would be great, and we’ll get back to you alright thanks for watching and I’ll see you next time.

This was my first season using the. Cochise 105 w and i would recommend it to anyone who wants one boot for both resort and back country access the Cochise 105 blends performance and versatility and a boot that can handle both the resort and the back country the. The Best part about this boot are the low tech inserts which are dena fits certified these inserts make the boot compatible with any binding alpine or. Touring however if you find yourself spending more time in the back country a couple screws in the bottom will allow you to easily change to rubber toe and heel pieces the hike mode on this boot gives you 44 degrees of movement in the cuff a wide range of motion that is clutch for skinning up hill although i use it just as much in the resort when I’m walking from the lifts to get some hot pizza this boot has a ninety-nine millimeters last making ideal for women. Who have an arrow shaped foot however technical’s custom adaptive shaped shell has special perforations in the plastic making punch outs and customization easier and more effective for a boot fitter plus the shell is 30% thinner than a standard boot which reduces its weight as the name suggests this boot comes in. At a 105 flex rating putting it on the stiff end for a women’s boot a 105 flex is great for intermediate to advanced skiers the liner in this boot also features the cas system it’s warm comfortable lightweight and has a low pack out rate meaning a liner will last for many seasons and maintain its shape one of my favorite features on this boot is the quick instep which allows the shell to open up and give your foot lots of room when getting in and out of the boot the Cochise 105 is the perfect boot for me i love that i only need one boot and can easily transition from using alpine binding to a tech binding.
Okay hi I’m craig dosti with the start. House and i just want to talk to you a little bit today about another one of our back countryside country worthy. Boots the technical Cochise which is a. Really awesome boot for a number of reasons number one it’s a technical it’s. A well-made boot the other thing is it’s. Got a removable soul logs so you can use. Either an alpine din binding or you can. Change the log out which you come standard with the Cochise pro lite and. You can have dynafit fittings on it ok. So it’s good for any kind of binding that you want to use with it by just changing out those lugs the Cochise pro. Comes with an alpine caliber liner which. Really gives you a lot more power and it. Comes with what i consider be one of the finest features of the Cochise and that is this buckled power strap so you can. Cinch this up really tight and then really lock it down the other thing is all these boots have a good walk mode. That’s what makes them a back country booth by as compared to a regular alpine. Boot and when you go to out to walk mode. With this boot you just flip this up and then it’s really easy to open the buckle. Here and open the vocal here and you get a ton of range of motion I’ll demonstrate this is the Cochise prolite. And I’ve already loosened the buckles and you can see i can really get my leg. Back quite a ways which makes walking. Really comfortable or skinning uphill. Super comfortable as well and so they. Only have a difference with the Cochise light it does not have this buckle power. Strap as a regular power strap just to save on weight and it uses a plow heat. Foldable liner which also saves you a. Lot of weight as well another one of the great options that we offer here at the start house for going back country side country or slide country.
Hi I’m stefano from technical we are here. At the company today and i just want to tell you briefly what happened when we. Construct when we thought when we build the new croce’s first of all we start. From the old Cochise we use that booth now for five years, so we know basically all the points that we need to improve. In that boots plus we work a lot with our athletes they are today summit. Meeting we met them twice a year, so we listen from them we try to catch all. Idea possible to implement them into the. New development that’s how we start so improving the existing coaches and adding all their all the true the real needs of our best skier which we ever. Run in the world so the goal we put on. The table for the new coaches was to make the boots lighter but yes lighter but also we want to put into the boots. The best performance possible and when we say the best performance possible it’s listening to our athletes they want. To have a racing boots they want to have a boot which you can almost race in yes. You can go use a long gs key go as fast as you can and the boot should hold those kind of headphone performance so. As light as possible with the most. Performant possible shape talking about. The shape coming from the old Cochise we. Want to make the boot slimmer narrower slimmer more tight have a. Better wrapping around your feet have a better shape so if you see compared to the old Cochise the boot is much slimmer much closer to your. Feet like i said our goal was to make. The boots like and perform it. Lightweight the goal was to go below 2 kilos in poly ether and you know poly ether. Is the best plastic you can use is the best plastic in terms of performance the best rebound is the most alive plastic we can put is the plastic they are using in workup so, but we know it’s a le. Plastic so the goal was to make it light and would be below 2 kilos and here we are. One kilo 960 970 now for the new Cochise. 130 in poly ether the new mechanism. That’s a long story when we start was two years ago with our athletes, and they. Had only one goal they said the MacLeish should be as strong as the worker booth. And when we talk about work at boots we know we have to screw so basically they want to have a locking system which is. Yes strong but the solo key system that. Where they can trust under percent when they make beam jump or when they really push the boots over the limit, so we make the new mechanism and what is. New in this mechanism strong they’re. Integrated into the calf we try to integrate to put it integrated the most. Possible and the system is able to adjust himself that means if in by using the boots you. Will get some place some extra movement. Which you don’t want to have the system will be able to adjust and go back to have always the best blocking the most. Solid connection another important point. Was to put the maximum possible range of. Motion and I’m talking about the leg the. Leg motion so first freedom completely. Freedom soft extremely soft when you are. Moving the calf, and we position a range of motion mostly to the front because we. Mostly climb we mostly go the steeper terrain and you need to have the boots which is flexed very nice soft with. Without effort to the front another. Interesting feature the fact that we. Have no hunting we figured our if you is. You want to have the canting immediately you have some play because you. This play allowed the canteen to move, so we don’t want to have any place so that means having a the time stood tightest. Connection possible between the calf and the shell it means no canteen super solid connection big difference. Compared to the old Cochise it’s now the low-tech insert are the real dyna fit. And they are integrated into the short. So the sole are not interchangeable like. In the orchestra they are integrated into the sole this give a lot of. Versatility and we combined with sky walk. So real good quality rubber would have. The best hiking performance lift lock a. Patent things from technical we are used. To when we put the boots on and off we. Are used to do like this and then bend this path right so now what we change. It’s very simple you open the buckle you use your leaf lock step in step out of the boots very. Easy and when you wanna buckle just lift it go in position and close a very cool. Feature simple to step in step out. Of your boots very easily. You.
Hey guys michelle here from the house comm and today I’m talking about the 2018 technical coach ice 85 women’s ski. Boot so this is a great boot for the one for the girl who wants to free ride from an intermediate to advanced level rider they’re gonna have a really great time with this boot beginner ride or not so much they might have a little bit more of a difficult time and that is because as it as 85 flex boots so it’s gonna have great shock absorption when you’re doing the jumps or just riding it really fast speeds but for a beginner rider that’s a. Little bit harder to manipulate for them, so we have aluminum buckles, and we have four buckles so it’s gonna be that really customized fit and the buckles are gonna last a really long time they’re pretty durable we also have an ultra fit w liner with merino wool on the inside so it’s gonna be very warm and very comfortable we also have a new. Lightweight design with this boot so it’s gonna be as lightweight as you can pretty much make a ski boot it also features a walk mode which you can find on the back of the boot, and we have quick instep technology in this so it’s gonna make you in and out of your ski boot just that much quicker and none of us love to get in another ski boot it’s not a fun time, so we also have a last of ninety-nine millimeters so you can find the 2018 technical coach ice 85 women’s ski boot at the house calm.
The K2 Empress Ski is designed to give you the power to preside over the park, pipe, trees, and steeps. A full aspen wood core is light, poppy, and durable, while the braided carbon pattern near the tip and tail gives the ski a smooth, stable feel. With a nimble 86-millimeter waist, the Empress best controls the park but can conquer the whole mountain.
Rounded tips and tails provide predictable turn initiation and easy release so you can scrub speed and vary your turn shapes like it’s no big deal, and the tip and tail rocker allow for mellow switch riding and respectable powder performance. Just the right amount of underfoot camber ensures a reliable edge hold when you’re bombing down firm groomers, and the cap construction not only keeps the ski lightweight, but adds durability so you can spend more time playing on boxes and rails and less time in the shop.
Thanks to popular demand, Scott whipped up The Ski with lady rippers in mind. Designed with a versatile waist underfoot and full length wood core, this all-mountain gem is stiff, energetic, flexy fun, and ready for any terrain you can throw its way. Early rise in the tips offers effortless turn initiation that’s perfect for skiers of all levels, with a zippy 15-meter turn radius that lets you weave through tight aspen groves, mash moguls, and carve down corduroy with playful ease.
This is the scott the ski from scott for. 2017 this is a relatively simple design. It’s been out for a very long time actually one skier the year a couple of years ago as well but it’s a very much an all mountain ski perfect for any intermediate up to expert skier just wanting a really easy ski to ski the whole mountain with its 90 mil underfoot. So that makes it a really good kind of like i said all mountain ski perfect for. Taking off-piste and doing a little bit like of peace cutting between the runs do maybe a few tree lines or just going around the poles but it’s also narrow enough to have a really great edge hold as well on the harder compact snow its ski only so you know binding you. Could put on there with mike might be a marcus squire or a try only attack 13. It’s just something that will kind of keep up with you on the mountain on these skis it’s got a slight nose rocker. As well so that again helps you initiate your turns making it a little bit easier think of rocker as power steering so it just makes everything simpler it’s also got a slight rocker in the tail but it’s mainly a flat tail so again that keeps you stable coming out of the eternal and again just makes just making. Things a little bit easier but it’s like i said definitely aimed at a more of an intermediate up to expert skier someone that is wanting to ski the whole mountain and knows how to use their edges and kind of dig them in when needed to where needed but like i said it’s just a really great ski really enjoyed it and it’s always a really. Popular ski.
This is scott the ski it’s a brilliant. Super all-round ski for anybody from an. Intermediate level to an advanced level skier reason being the construction of the ski an intermediate level will allow. You to be quite Cruz and very easy. Turning but if you pick up the pace you. Push it a bit more you ski faster you ski more aggressively the ski construction will still allow you to get. Good grip good edge hold good stability. At speed the way this ski shape is made. It has a long tip profile at the front. Here so the contact point with the ground is much further back on piste that gives you the feeling of a more. Agile playful ski but once you ski off. Piece this longer length of ski allows. You to float through the powder it gives you a smooth cruiser feel off-piste. Scott the ski is a brilliant ski for. Anyone who wants a playful fun feeling. Ski whether you’re an intermediate level. Skier or higher but the beauty of this ski is it will progress with you and it will help your skiing if you want more information please visit us at. Hillingdon or have a look on our website at ski Bartlett calm.
You like to drive your skis hard and fast down the steepest runs in the resort, and the Head Women’s Nexo LYT 110 Ski Boot speaks your language. The stiff 110 flex is ideal for expert lady shredders who carve up the whole mountain, while the 100-millimeter last blends comfort and performance.
Head used Graphene in the construction of the shell, which is a strong yet impressively lightweight material, to give the boot a damp, stable feel without breaking the scales. The Nexo LYT boasts a customization technology called Liquid Fit, which, through a fast and easy process, fills thin packets around the ankle and heel area with a syrup-like liquid until you decide it feels perfect. This ensures a snug, secure fit that delivers anatomical comfort and performance so you can ski hard until the chairs stop spinning.
Hi I’m cooped with head Tyrolean here today. With christy sports talking about season 2018-19 a new boot for us a head called. The nexo line of boots these are lightweight boots this boot in particular is the nexo 120 light this. Boot weighs in about 3 pounds 12 ounces. Per boot so it rivals a touring weight. Type boot and this is meant for all. Mountain resort skiing so what does a lightweight boot do for you on a resort it makes you more efficient and it allows you to have more fun and extend your day longer the fit of this boot is 100 millimeters last through the forefoot so it’s a nice open forefoot a real nice. Open toe box so that you can let those toes spread out, but we taper it into a. Nice narrow heel pocket you can see the v-shape to that boot to add to the. Precision of the heel pocket we use a liquid fit liner where we can inject or. I should say the christie sports boot technician can inject a paraffin based. Wax material down into the heel pocket and really personalize the fit around. The heel in the ankle so no more wrapping foam and material around that liner when you first get into the boot we can solve it for you in about five minutes this boot utilizes a really thin. Walled shall we use a smart frame technology which increases the lateral stiffness of the boot, and we actually use graphene which we started with our skis to strengthen that thin walled. Shell and add dampness to it so the boot. Gives you that for the precision and the performance of a thick pu wild shell but. Will package it in a real lightweight. Performance enhancing fit with the neck. So 120 check it out of christi sports. You.
Hi I’m cooped with head Tyrolean here today. With christy sports talking about our neck so 110 these are this is a new line. Of boots for us we’re using graphene a material that you might know from our skis in the shell of the boot, so we make. A very thin lightweight shell weighs just under four pounds per boot so rivals are the weight of a touring boot. But in an all-mountain resort type product this boot we use 100 millimeters. Lasts through it through the forefoot for the fit a nice open toe box that allows you to balance really well tapers back into a nice concise heel pocket we. Use a 110 flex in this boot so it’s very appropriate for an intermediate to a lightweight advanced skier really gives. You a lot of precision within the boot we use a liquid fit injection process with this boot that allows you to go. Ahead and personalize that heel pocket even more, and we also can adapt the toe. And heal to grip lock toe and heel so if you want a little easier walking around the resort or around the parking lot you can always buy the accessory of the grip walk toe and heel urge you to check this. Boot out at your local christi sports. You.
Hi I’m cooped with head Tyrolean here today. With christy sports talking about a new boot for season 2018-19 a women’s. Specific boot called the neck so 100 light this boot is really using a. Tremendous amount of technology and really addresses a couple of challenging. Aspects to fitting the specifics of women’s foot and lower leg shape so let’s talk about the fit first of all 100 millimeter lasts nice broad open toe. Box narrows into a nice narrow heel. Pocket very v-shaped in the shape of the last we use a lightweight shell that. That is a thin walled shell but uses graphene in it which allows the boot to. Be really performance driven and very responsive and damp in its feel in the. Women’s specific area we use a shorter. Cuff than we do on our unisex or men’s boots we then use a 2 tong system within. The top of the boot this allows the boot to mold and conform to a low. Volume leg or really open up to a high volume lake so there’s a lot of adjust ability within this we also add to. The boot a double adjustable profile so your technician at christi sports can open up these two cams and expand the. Circumference of the shell of the boot by 10 millimeters and really open it up. For a higher volume calf if you need to on top of that we use a liquid fit liner. Which we can inject a paraffin based wax. Into the liner around the heel pocket to. Make that heal very concise when i fit a. Lot of women probably the most common complaint i get is my heels lifting my heels lifting women tend to taper back. Into narrow heel pockets so this liquid fit technology allows us to address that. In a way that has really never been on the market before without going to a foam liner very easy system very quick system gets you out on the hill skiing in a way that you’ve never experienced before check it out of christi sports. You.
Hi I’m cooped with head Tyrolean here today with christy sports talking about a new boot for us for a 2018-19 season called the nexo light 80 women’s. This boots a 80 flex so it’s a little. But more for that intermediate to lower intermediate level skier but certainly a. Lightweight advanced intermediate could use it as well we use a 100 millimeter last with this boot nice open toe box taper into a nice narrow heel pocket. We have some very women’s specific fit adjustments on the boot we use two. Tongues in the upper cuff of the liner so that we can mold the liner to a low. Volume or a high volume calf we can also open up the cuff of the boot by 10 millimeters with our double adjustable profile the christy sports boot fitting technician would work with you on that the other aspect to this boot is that. It’s extremely lightweight, so we use a thin walled shell plastic with this that. Allows you to extend your day and enjoy your day longer throughout the day so i urge you to check this out of christy sports try it on the fit is spectacular. And you’ll really be impressed by how comfortable this boot is. You.
When she’s eaten up all the greens and is eager for something more challenging, she’s going to need a boot that can keep up. Strap the Dalbello Gaia 2 Ski Boot on her feet with ease thanks to the soft and comfy signature Cabrio design and let the fun begin. The ratchet top buckle helps her fine-tune the fit all by herself, and a Super Comfort Jr. liner makes for happy feet all day long. Skiing with little ones involves a lot of walking to the car, the bathroom, and the snack counter, so the Gaia has replaceable DuraGrip toe and heel lugs, so you don’t have to get her a new pair of boots once she’s put these through the wringer.

The DPS Women’s Zelda Alchemist Special Edition Ski is ready to take on powder days in the backcountry or late-season days skiing crud in the resort, all with ease and marvelous versatility. DPS makes its women-specific skis the exact same way as its other hard-chargers, only with a slightly altered mounting point to harness a more engaged feel. Underneath the unique, special-edition top sheet is a lightweight, fun-loving, stable ski that’s built to charge.
Its versatile 106mm waist comes in handy when the powder is deep, but the Alchemist Pure Carbon construction, which features a pre-impregnated carbon fiber laminate, also offers a damp, smooth feel when you’re skiing corduroy or chunder at lightening speeds. The slightly rockered tip provides effortless float on the deepest days of the season, while the camber underfoot adds reliable edge hold on harder snow. Whether you’re skiing through tight trees or laying on your edges on groomers, the lightweight aspen core adds responsiveness and pop, making each turn feel energetic and powerful.
If you crave firm groomers and high speeds, then the K2 Women’s Tough Luv Ski with ERC 11TCx Light Quikclik Binding is your ticket to frontside freedom. With a narrow yet nimble 82 millimeter waist, rockered tip, and generous camber, you’ll slice pristine corduroy and zoom over end of day chop, and will never feel like you can’t hold a reliable edge on even the slickest, steepest runs.
K2’s women-specific BioKonic Core—which puts denser materials at the ski’s edges for improved strength and power from edge to edge—keeps this ski light and balanced without sacrificing any performance. The core is built from a combination of strong, stiff fir and light, responsive aspen, with a carbon laminate for increased stability and power, meaning you’ll experience a buttery-smooth, robust, and dependable feel, whether you’re dabbling in the softer snow at the side of the trail or laying hard edges down the steepest, firmest run you can find.
If the park were a fresh, doughy roll, then the Line Women’s Honey Bee Ski would the sweetest glaze to smear all over those rails and jumps; just don’t forget to butter before you take off. The early rise tip and tail encourage buttering all over the park, and also work to provide you with enjoyable float in deeper snow while still maintaining easy engagement on hardpack. Line’s Symmetrical Flex provides an equally balanced feel whether you’re riding switch or not, and the lightweight aspen wood core keeps the ride soft, playful, and responsive, also makes the ski easy to throw around. Fiberglass near the core along with thicker edges and bases add durability to the mix, increasing the tuning life so you can spend more time perfecting your 360 and less time in the shop.
Grab the Nordica Women’s Santa Ana 110 Ski, clear your schedule, and head into the white room. It’s hard to beat the raw pleasure of lapping lift-accessed blower powder all day long, and with a 110 millimeter waist, this ski can handle the steep and the deep with effortless ease. The rockered tip and tail ensure turns through fresh powder are smooth and dreamy, while underfoot camber doesn’t leave you high and dry on steep hardpack when Mother Nature doesn’t deliver.
The Santa Ana is built around a lightweight balsa wood core so you don’t have to spend precious energy turning a hefty set of sticks, yet remains incredibly strong, damp, and playful. A Titanal laminate increases power transfer when you’re letting it rip under the chair, and the carbon prepreg laminates provides stability and edge grip so you can really open up your speed in the steep backside bowls. When you feel like ditching the crowds and heading to your secret powder stash in the trees, an impressive turn radius makes these skis zippy and nimble.
Hey what’s up everybody I’m here with carrie smith mount hood local born and. Raised former racer ski coach now a. Globe-trotting ski bum extraordinaire and sore it’s you hopped on a bunch of. Skis today up here at hood and one of those was the nordica santa ana 110. And you skied a bit shorter lengths and. You probably would prefer but tell me. About your ski experience today on that ski yeah so i skied a 169. Version 110 underneath being from a race. Background i really appreciate a nice. Stable ski it’s a bit longer. But this one i was surprised when i. First got on it i felt like i didn’t. Have a lot of stability in the tail. Probably because of the rocker but i. Realized that the sweet spot in the skis a bit more forward and the tips actually engage really well and just being on this shorter ski i could really put some. Nice song pops in their yeah i think it. Has a 16 and 1/2 meter radius it said in. A 177 length and you’re in the 169 yeah. So it has a balsa core which is. Extremely light wood core to sheets of. Metal which is really cool for the ladies it’s kind of uncommon you could say who do you think this who would. Benefit from the ski maybe and like what sort of conditions i think that this ski. Would actually do really well in softer snow maybe even a pow ski so 110. Underfoot so that’s a decent amount of width and because of the rocker you could be a little more playful in softer. Snow nice right on that is the nordica. Santa ana 110.
