How's it going guys sheepdog 88 here and. Today we're doing another review and this review is gonna be on the liberty hdx 350 now this is one of the biometric. Safes that liberty offers which are pretty popular nowadays one they allow you to access your safe without having a key and then make it a lot quicker in. Order to get into your safe whether you have a firearm or any other. Valuables locked away but this one is huge this is their 350 this is a part of. Their defender series and i believe this is the biggest one they offer so you have plenty of room on the inside it does have a lot of cool features too which I'm going to talk about but starting off right here as you can see. Is the fingerprint scanner or the. Biometric scanner now the 350 allows you to store up to 30 different types of fingerprints now in the manual or in the. Instructions i do recommend storing the same fingerprints fingerprint more than. Once so what i do is i saved my same. Fingerprint on each finger my left hand. In my right hand i do that three times i enrolled it so that way i don't have to. Worry about it not recognize my fingerprint immediately so i did that so. Let me go out and open here just to show you the inside of it so right now i do have it plugged in it opens in one second it this does have a battery backup so if your power goes out in your. House or anything like that you could still access it with the battery it comes with a nine volt battery and you. Have a key to override it as well comes with two keys let's go ahead in take a. Look at the inside just so i could show you how much space you really have in here. All right so right now i got a pistol a. Spare magazine and a flashlight you noticed when it did open up right away it does have the lead light in orbital in order to light it up in there so right. Here also another cool feature is a drawer i don't have anything in there. Right now but you could put any kind of documents. Ids your passport jewelry anything like. That you do have a small drawer that's really not in the way it's kind of high. Here but it does slide back and forth. But look at the size of this thing i could easily fit two pistols in here right now i like i said you said one sig. P320 it's a medium sized pistol i. Got a spare mag got a flashlight right i. Had this set up for home defense but if you look back here a really cool feature that they added is a usb port with an. Led light on it so I'm able to charge something inside the safe locked away. Also they do give you two usb ports on. The outside to charge your cell phone or anything like that but just showing you. The size of this it's pretty big. And when this safe opens up here open it. Again just listen to how quiet it is so. It doesn't slam down i know there are. 250 oh there's smaller one when that door. Comes open it's pretty loud i mean it opens quick which is nice but if you. Have a break-in and you want to get to your pistol you probably don't want to. Give away your position or make a lot of. Noise you want to be quite so that's a nice feature that they added it still opens very quick but it softly opens and does not slam down showing you the. Outside here so right here you can see. They have the two usb chargers right now. I just got a battery by external battery. Backup charging right now and it's. Plugged in so i like to keep this plugged in this right now it's on my workbench but i keep this on my nightstand right next to my bed so i have quick access to my firearm and it's locked away don't have to worry. About anyone getting to it but this. Thing is awesome it's a nice size it's solid right here. Is the lock for the key override let me. Show you that. So it does come with two of these keys right here real small keys i keep one on. My key chain and i actually have the other one in my big safe for my other. Liberty safe as you can see opens up. Right away don't have anything to worry. About now this battery compartment it's kind. Of hard to see let me see the look at the flashlight on it so it's right up here on top that's where the 9-volt battery sits and then right here that. Yellow button that's what you use to program it if you hold it down for i believe i don't know five to ten seconds all these lights there's already a green. A yellow and a red light walt flicker look at Christmas tree that resets all the memory resets all the fingerprints and then you could register. Each fingerprint one at a time you hold that button down for a few seconds the green and yellow light will come on and then you slowly swipe your finger over about five times and when the green light flickers that means it's registered now this one is cool because. You could either push your finger forward or pull your finger back it's. Either/or which is nice another nice feature this safe and i. Mean this thing is solid if someone were to try to break into this they don't need some tools it's gonna slow them down it's gonna take a while and this will prevent somebody from gaining access to your firearm really quick. Alright so some other features are those. Safe here alright so yeah this liberty. Safe is amazing liberty makes really good quality product products as you can see they're made in the usa now you guys might have seen my other video where i do a review of my liberty centurion 24 gun safe so. I've been extremely happy with the. Quality of liberty i mean they're really. Second to none when it compares to safe makers i know there's a lot of. Other state companies out there that are a little bit less expensive but you get. What you pay for i will gladly pay a. Little bit extra as long as i know I'm getting a really good quality product it's made in the usa that actually means a lot to me so this safe why would. Somebody get this safe now i think this is great for somebody who maybe really. Isn't that big of a gun guy or isn't. Into firearms that much and need something for home defense realizes like hey i need a firearm to protect myself and i don't need a 24 or 25 gun safe i. Don't want a small lockbox i want something a little more secure so this is a great option for that this is something you could hide really close in. A closet next to your bed on the nights and the nice stands where i keep it this also it doesn't come with it but. You could buy a cable to secure it to. Something or you could buy a mounting plate so if you plan on keeping this somewhere secure like me I'm moving pretty soon so I'm not gonna secure it down yet but once i get my new house I'm planned on securing this down that stops. Somebody from just walking away with the entire state but if you don't have mounting options or anywhere to bolt it down the cable is another great option. For that too but this is good for. Somebody anybody really who has a. Handgun and wants it you know access to. It quick someone needs a break-in and you could also get this for stuff other besides firearms es you know documents. Money anything like that you want to keep secure but this is more geared towards storing a firearm especially. With the biometric scanner of quick access but yeah i mean this has a lot of. Room so i don't plan on running out of. Room with this thing i mean it even goes. Back pretty far like i said i could fit at least two pistols lots of money that. Drawers a real nice feature they added up there I'm glad to have the drawer also i love that usb charger so that way. I could charge you know my cell phone. My battery charge or anything like that. I could have charged security my safe. Seeing a lot of these biometric safes on the market and i was happy when liberty. Started making their own because i knew. The quality was just gonna be ten times. Better than what any other company has put on the market a lot of these. Biometric readers makes people nervous you know i don't know if it's gonna read. My fingerprint exactly when i need it and this one has been a hundred percent. Functional it works every time i read my fingerprint like i said i did store each fingerprint three times just to make. Sure even in the manual it says liberty recommend storing it multiple times so i did three times on each index finger on both hands so that way i can access it. With any head and like i said i could. Hey guys robert with a one locksmith of frisco texas today we're going to take a look at the liberty hdx smart vault it's. One of their biometric hand gun safes I'm gonna see if i can show you a little bit more about the product maybe answer some questions that you've had about it okay, so we're gonna dive right in we're gonna take a closer look alright here we go let's take the look liberty hdx 150 biometric pistol vaults. Really simple i just want to show you the features it is biometric we're gonna. Scan a finger the latch is gonna release. The lid it is then able to be open now. That's all it does and by that i mean it. Does not spring latch open it just. Releases the latch so again just hold it. Down swipe, it drops it good to go so I'm. Just kind of playing with it I've got multiple fingers of mine in here just, so we can kind of see i think that's. Important that you see that it can read multiple fingerprints now and then that. Said if i try to use a fingerprint. That's not installed in here okay it's. Going to give me a lot of red flashes so. My pinky not in here. Right that's exactly what that means so on the other hand just, so we can see not. In their okay we'll go ring finger not. In there however good to go no problems. Right give it a close so that's pretty. Much how it works you can do up to 15 finger prints inside of here and i strongly recommend you do you never know what finger need to put on there let's open it lets's take a look on the inside here we go. So to move things along i went ahead and. Set a weapon in there so you can see about size-wise what you're dealing with this is a small compact weapon as you. Can see there's still a lot of room for much longer barrel so i have put. Full-sized 45s in here and they fit. Absolutely fine this is a narrow weapon okay so I'm okay with the foam that's on. The lid I'm okay with the amount of foam that's in here however let's say that i wanted to use a larger weapon well there's actually dual layers so i can. Remove one and then we can try to fit. The larger weapon in here i haven't seen anything that really doesn't fit too well and put a 44 magnum though to be honest with you so I'm not sure it does not come with redrilled holes for mounting it to cabinet or shelf or an internet table these are a little rubber. Feet you probably knock those out and use those if you want to run screws or you can probably drill your own and set those in there as well okay i just throw. This back in just like to leave it in. There looks nice right here this thing. Is running off of a 9 volt battery right. Now and that battery is hidden behind. This little tray right here easy to remove screw replace your 9 volt battery. I strongly suggest Duracell it's not a name-drop I've just had much more success with small electronic parts like biometric readers and keypads and safes. With Duracell products right here this. Unscrews as well and that reveals to us. Our admin button here's a little pushpin. That they give us in the package and so. What that is that you just reach in there to push and it lights up so now. I've got all these lights blinking let's do this lets's go 1 2 3 4 & 5. That was five successful swipes green. Light tells me so every time that it. Blinks yellow that means success swipe it again i would have got a red light if i was off it's just that easy so now i should be able to walk up green light yellow light swipe we hear the motor. Turn we're good to go set the screw back in there, so we don't lose it and it keeps the button from being jammed right there i have a slow blinking red life if. You look in the manual that will tell. You that mean batteries getting low okay so in doing. These videos I'm not gonna lie to you there's a blooper reel you'd enjoy it I've had to do this several times to get the videos right so I'm wearing that battery out not to mention this is my demo so i use this often okay but um if. I replace that battery I'll be fresh and good to go real quick before we get out. Key override I'm a locksmith i like key. Overrides because if this thing fails battery wise you've got away in comes. With two keys they are the ace and/or tubular keys, so they're much more tamper proof than a. Standard single sided key that might be on your manual dial on your safe okay. That's a little bit more tamper proof i. Appreciate that as a locksmith we can close that stays away it's out of mind i like that a lot now don't want to run a battery don't run to run the key here is. The ac adapter offered by liberty safe. You can plug this in and then you've got constant power to the reader at all times i like that option a lot several. Of my customers swear by this product over just running the nine volt battery i personally only run the nine volt battery but i changed it pretties frequently I'm kind of you know I'm anal. This is an unboxing and demonstration of the sentry safe quick access biometric pistol safe you can follow the link in the description below for current prices and availability when i picked it up it was just over a hundred dollars, so we'll go ahead, and we'll open it up and as you. Can see here it's packed up nice with some styrofoam this thing definitely did not move around during shipping it is wedged in their pretty good you get your instruction manual and the. Two keys are in the baggie on top, so we'll just go ahead and pull it out of the box, and we'll pull the keys out here. And open it up and you can see the. Mounting hardware is also in that bag which was wedged on the inside you'll use that if you want to securely fasten that to a floor joist or a piece of furniture and my first impression with. This safe is that it is very sturdy it comes in about twelve pounds which is quite a bit for the small little safe so i do trust it got to hold up to any sort. Of mild tampering so the first step would be to get some batteries in here you just pull that little access door off and the battery tray does come right out it does take four doublea's which are not included with this safe so. You'll have to pick those up separate. And now that we have it powered up I'll just show you just come with just a standard factory code which is one two three four one so you press the button. Once to wake it up one two three four one and it pops right open it does work really without any sort of hesitation it does again require that first initial wake up so you wake it up one two three. For one and it pops right open now the next step is to programming your fingerprints which is a pretty straightforward process you can register two of your own fingerprints and then two of somebody else's fingerprints which is nice and handy if you have somebody else you want to grant access to so you can have your two sets of fingerprints and your code. As well and the fingerprint access as well. Requires a wake up press so you have to. Rest your finger on there and then pull it across it does take a second to recognize that your finger is on there but it do I've had this worked 100% of the time in all of my testing I've used. It with myself another member of the family and I've also verified it with other fingers to make sure that it does not open and again I've had zero problems with this so far and i would. Trust it completely distorts valuables as you can see here for demonstration purposes i have a glock 19 gen 5 with. Two spare magazines one in the firearm. As well and the stream light tlr-2 hl i. Mounted on there and you can see a plenty of room left to spare and if you wanted to go with a glock 17 full-sized or something like that you definitely could fit it in there no problems again this is highly recommended thank you very much for watching please subscribe, and we will catch you next time.

Hey there this is matt with defense innovations and this evening i wanted to do a video not like any of the other. Ones we've really done before i really wanted to start doing a set of videos on how to protect your firearms and i. Wanted to start off here with the liberty hd 200 quick vault and i wanted. To get this for a couple reasons but the main reason was is I've got two small children and the last thing i want is. For my kids to get a hold of weapons. That they have no business touching at this age every intention of teaching them when they're older how too safely. Operate and be around firearms but at this point they're just too small to even start that process yet i as well. Wanted a secure environment for my home. Defense handgun in my bedroom and i thought that this would be one of the best setups to go with heard a lot of. Good things about liberty i have family members who owned liberty safes they. Just rave about them good quality good workmanship they're not always the cheapest i will say that but what i tell. People in the firearms industry or in the market who are looking at new items to get sometimes cheapest isn't always the best and some people don't get that. Or they refuse to get it but i always. Say if you buy cheap you buy twice and. That has been my experience in this in. This field of interest in my life so i. Want to go ahead and dive right into it and talk about this hd 200, and we'll go. Ahead and move into it okay so this is. What the liberty hd 200 is going to look. Like when you bring home from the store very simple to use very simple to. Do they actually include a qr code here you can scan your smartphone or tablet it'll take you right to their video online telling you all the features and benefits of as you open it up here to be your. Standard plastic baggie of parts silica. Packed backup keys mounting screws. Instruction this sticker was on the front before i took it off very simple. You know two or three steps to get in there and then it goes into everything else you know that the safe is featured with. Which you will need you will need. Immediately or the keys the backup keys. Here and you'll need that too actually. Get into the vault itself okay so this. Is what it looks like out of the box very similar to the picture it's got a. Nice finish on it's a heavy-duty it. Feels like its powder coated but it's a. Very it just feels rugged okay so it's got a rubberized pad here it's got you. No little physical indicators i don't. Now if this is braille or this is how they do braille but it's its very you can feel it pitch black which numbers which okay very positive feel feedback. There you have four buttons as you can. See with a five combination code system. In here so the baseline code is what's. Plugged in here right now, and we'll go ahead and open it so this. Is the default code okay so this thing. Springs open it's probably hard to see. With the lighting in here but it does have a led light inside and the one. Think that really made me happy about. This vault was the fact that it's padded on the interior all the way around so if. You don't mount this it's just sitting on your nightstand and it gets knocked off the nightstand your guns not gonna be all marred up in it and yeah so. Pretty much it very easy to set up back. Up under here and the instruction manual once you open it with the there's a reset button it beeps you plug in your new custom code and you go from. There's also an option to mute the beeps. Which some people might want if they're. In a smaller home or an apartment, and they don't want someone to hear them necessarily getting into a vault or a. Little safe then you can mute that function as well again this is there. Single model they do make a double that. Actually is a little shelf in it's much taller though and for my application if i can't solve the issue. With a single handgun and there's there's some bigger issues at play so. Really all i needed for the nightstand and it works for me again it's just. Something nice that i can come home after I've been out all day and i need. To go ahead and take my concealed carry off just a good place for me to put it. And not have to worry about the kids or anybody else getting into it and just to give you a concept here of the size of this when you're actually working with it I've gone ahead and put in my carry. Gun and my home defense gun of choice. And i put a glock 19 in here with an. Extra mag and it's got extended mags in. It just so you can see the size at which. It takes up so there's the glock 19 with. The light on it and the extra man so. Again pretty straightforward overall. I've been impressed with it so far it feels and sounds solid this is I'm not. Sure exactly how thick this is it's probably i would imagine in the 10 to 8. Gauge range i would be surprised if it's much thinner than that just due to just. How solid it feels so overall I'm very. Alright guys want to take a really quick. Look at the hd 100 quick vaults from. Liberty so let's see what's in the box. First cleaning up looks like you can get. A couple keys tubular design. Next up oh instructions those are. Important telling you how to you know how to set your code and your warranty. Information by the way you get two years on this guy please look at it just like. That's all that's in the box set that off to the side so whoo. That is really heavy for its size wow that's beefy so it looks like you got your manual opening your key right. There get your tether port right there and. Then you have your known look it's got some braille right here at the top entry. Now one thing that's really interesting about this guys not only is it spring-loaded but you have to put five digits in this guy most of the gun volts and the bulldogs you only have to put four so this has an extra digit that you have to put in there it makes it more secure but it. Also takes a little bit longer to open it not that big of a deal but something's you might want to know about it's got the hydraulic ram it's got. Plenty of padding it does have a mute. Button and the set up button is what you use for when you want to when you want. To change the code it does have a led. It looks like on the inside here and it. Also has comes with some mounting screws and the tether or the security cable so. That you can put it around things like you know your car seat or chained it to a desk or whatever you might want to do. But there you go that's it rights there. In a nutshell now a lot to it's got. Two holes in the back so you could screw it to something say a wall or a desk. So you know i think for the money you're. Looking at about a hundred and twenty-five to a hundred and fifty bucks depending on where you buy it from it is. From a major manufacturer and the. Safe world i think this is a you can do. A lot of worse so it's very nicely made i. Mean it's really beefy it's pretty small. Which is nice oh there's lead as you can. See right there so it lights up when you. Enter it so you can see what you got and. Then if we take a piss allah says. Here's a here's my laser light training. Pistol and as you can see there's there's quite a bit of room although it doesn't look like there's a lot of room in there for big size pistols let. Me dig 91911 out of the safe, and we'll. Take a look at it okay so let's check. Out with a full-sized handgun what. It can do so no mag in this weapons empty weapon. So it will accept a full size handgun. Which is great there's not a lot of room there and i doubt that you could. Get this gun in its holster in here you. Might but there's not a lot of room here as you can see that is not a lot of. Playing their back and forth now my. Carry piece the xds fits in there. Perfectly with its holster so if it's a small carry gun i would imagine you'd be. Able to get the holster in there you might even be able to get a knife and a flashlight or a spare mag in there but. Either way i think it serves its purpose i think it's a nice bedside rig i think. It's a nice car rig it's certainly well. Made it is definitely beefy so what do i. Think about the hd 100 from liberty well. I think for the money it is kind of in. The middle i think the bulldog is a little bit. Cheaper and price and probably build construction just by a little bit though and then i think the gun vaults they're. Lying is probably a little bit above it in build quality and certainly in price but. For the money for a bond of 150 give or. Take a few dollars i think this guy is i. Think this guy's really built really well i mean i this is beefy it's really. Heavy for its size you know it has. Everything you need in it has the lead it has the no-look opening as the. Spring-loaded door i think that this would serve you well whether you're going to use it for a gun volt or not so obviously the cons are that it's. A little small you know but that actually probably is. What it was designed to do that's why it probably competes so well in the market you know it's not as big as some of the gun vaults that you know say bulldog. Makes or even gun vault themselves so on. Final note on these quick access gun safes you know as a parent it's really. Important for me that i have access or my wife has access to our firearms out. Primary defensive firearms but my. Children don't it's really. Important that people who shouldn't have access don't have access so these safes. Give you a tool that won't break the. Bank that allow you to have your gun near you. In your car besides your bed maybe in. Your desk and you don't have to be near your big primary safe wherever that is. Was driving to new Hampshire i realized i still had my edc gun on me and i had to cross the Massachusetts so. A little stop at cabala's and wound up. By bees this one instead of just a cheap. $50 lockbox i figure this is something. That can mount in my truck mounted my house believe it was $$139129 so it was. It seemed like a good value. The dimensions are 5.4 by twelve. Point four by eight point five so it's a fairly large battery backup it's battery. Operated with a key backup spring-loaded padded interior he's my 365 it is my infinity as you can. Tell it fits my problem and my 365 fits. There so two guns one big one small to. Compact no issues you can put your. Valuables in their five digit. Code that you set up your program yourself it uses nine volt battery that's inside and it's redrilled with. A three mounting holes to be secured. Whatever you want so fairly good. Valid for the money in my opinion like i. Said I'll probably mount in my closet and i can put when i have a. Company i can just put my home defense gun in there so it's not lying around just a quick and dirty review liberty. Ht5 200 quid vault there's always the. Phone picture.

Liberty safe today i go to be giving. You a review of my liberty safe made in. The usa mechanical lock handle and this. Is the 18 satori on gun safe what. Happened there we go. Stands 59 point something. Inches tall almost 60 inches i am a 5 7. 5 8 depending on whom you ask i comes up a little bit under my nose so. It's a pretty tall safe you know this is. My arms straight out in front of me so. It's a decent size say the weighs 366. Pounds which you know isn't that much. For you know safe but for entry-level. Safe perfect it was still a bitch to get. Around though i see open in show you. Made in the usa sticker try to focus. There we go. Can stand 30 minutes fire proof. Insulation at 62 btus for you. Scientific people because to me that. Just looks like a big number so it must be hot and this is what i like even. Though it's an entry level safe guarantee lifetime warranty free safe. Replacement if something goes wrong free. Opening or damaged safe or out and free. Delivery or replacement safe so has five. Let me see if i could get a side of you four inch locking plates. According to liberty this is supposed to. Give more surface instead of one little. Bar holding it supposed to give it a. Bigger bar i don't know if that's true or if that's just a selling point but. Either way you've seen videos and I've. Seen videos where they've tried to do this. And it lasts the 5-minute pry test has. Five on this side and five on the back side of the door inside we have two. Little shelves you know with the opening. In the back as you can see that's for if. You have a long rifle or shotgun it can. Come up through the back this is a little removable panel. Let's see this is not a big. Shelf but you know have my 45 1911 here. Usa flag my xd9 by mp. And my raging bull my safe is still. Empty I'm still you know putting it in i. Just put it in like maybe about a hour ago my little mosquito sig 22 but like i. Said you know it's a big shelf you know big as my hand opening in the. Back you know really big opening like I'd say maybe four inches of space back. Behind there but uh like i was saying. This is a shelf that you can switch over. And it gives you all that open space you. Now this wants to secure it on there. You can't move that on this one is just. A piece of a metal you know opening. Spaces here if you had more rifles these. Shelves come out gives you two shelves. You know good to be the door right here. A thick piece of metal here. Um i haven't really seen any videos on. This so i figure you know give you a. View for this one i paid $4.99 plus. Taxes and everything came out to give 36. Or 38 or something like that which is pretty good it was 100 bucks off at a west coast safes in Ontario. California if you go on the website this. One it's supposed to be $5.99 the smaller ones $4.99 then the bigger ones $6.99 but at west coast safes they have. Have it for $100 off so and that goes. Through different levels like the smaller one is 399 this one's $4.99 and. The biggest one is $5.99 so if you live. In california and you want a little entry level safe you know that's the. Place to go you know this big door you. No pretty good. Um don't really know what else to say about it you know like i said before it's an. Entry-level safe you know i don't have. All the money in the world i can't get those two three thousand dollar safes and all that stuff i haven't bolted it. Down yet because I'm planning to move so. Be kind of wasted at the moment but uh. Eighteen guns i don't know oh maybe. Let's see. But on second. Now. As I'm looking to set at this right now i just noticed that the hole in the back doesn't really give you room in the. Front i guess that's only if you're gonna lean. The rifle maybe there maybe huh yeah it. Would just be clearance just so for two. Guns but i guess if you wanted to see if. One would go here two three four fives. Six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve. Thirteen fourteen fifteen maybe they're. Thinking that you probably put one here and just jam the other ones in there but. I count only 15 spots oh wait. Sixteen seventeen eighteen there you go. Once again 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13. 14 15 16 17 18 i don't know how accurate. That's true but uh it's its good you. Now it's 24 inches wide so you know. It's a good arm's length deep so you. No simple safe. And there you go.

Hey there this is matt with defense innovations and this evening i wanted to do a video not like any of the other. Ones we've really done before i really wanted to start doing a set of videos on how to protect your firearms and i. Wanted to start off here with the liberty hd 200 quick vault and i wanted. To get this for a couple reasons but the main reason was is I've got two small children and the last thing i want is. For my kids to get a hold of weapons. That they have no business touching at this age every intention of teaching them when they're older how too safely. Operate and be around firearms but at this point they're just too small to even start that process yet i as well. Wanted a secure environment for my home. Defense handgun in my bedroom and i thought that this would be one of the best setups to go with heard a lot of. Good things about liberty i have family members who owned liberty safes they. Just rave about them good quality good workmanship they're not always the cheapest i will say that but what i tell. People in the firearms industry or in the market who are looking at new items to get sometimes cheapest isn't always the best and some people don't get that. Or they refuse to get it but i always. Say if you buy cheap you buy twice and. That has been my experience in this in. This field of interest in my life so i. Want to go ahead and dive right into it and talk about this hd 200, and we'll go. Ahead and move into it okay so this is. What the liberty hd 200 is going to look. Like when you bring home from the store very simple to use very simple to. Do they actually include a qr code here you can scan your smartphone or tablet it'll take you right to their video online telling you all the features and benefits of as you open it up here to be your. Standard plastic baggie of parts silica. Packed backup keys mounting screws. Instruction this sticker was on the front before i took it off very simple. You know two or three steps to get in there and then it goes into everything else you know that the safe is featured with. Which you will need you will need. Immediately or the keys the backup keys. Here and you'll need that too actually. Get into the vault itself okay so this. Is what it looks like out of the box very similar to the picture it's got a. Nice finish on it's a heavy-duty it. Feels like its powder coated but it's a. Very it just feels rugged okay so it's got a rubberized pad here it's got you. No little physical indicators i don't. Now if this is braille or this is how they do braille but it's its very you can feel it pitch black which numbers which okay very positive feel feedback. There you have four buttons as you can. See with a five combination code system. In here so the baseline code is what's. Plugged in here right now, and we'll go ahead and open it so this. Is the default code okay so this thing. Springs open it's probably hard to see. With the lighting in here but it does have a led light inside and the one. Think that really made me happy about. This vault was the fact that it's padded on the interior all the way around so if. You don't mount this it's just sitting on your nightstand and it gets knocked off the nightstand your guns not gonna be all marred up in it and yeah so. Pretty much it very easy to set up back. Up under here and the instruction manual once you open it with the there's a reset button it beeps you plug in your new custom code and you go from. There's also an option to mute the beeps. Which some people might want if they're. In a smaller home or an apartment, and they don't want someone to hear them necessarily getting into a vault or a. Little safe then you can mute that function as well again this is there. Single model they do make a double that. Actually is a little shelf in it's much taller though and for my application if i can't solve the issue. With a single handgun and there's there's some bigger issues at play so. Really all i needed for the nightstand and it works for me again it's just. Something nice that i can come home after I've been out all day and i need. To go ahead and take my concealed carry off just a good place for me to put it. And not have to worry about the kids or anybody else getting into it and just to give you a concept here of the size of this when you're actually working with it I've gone ahead and put in my carry. Gun and my home defense gun of choice. And i put a glock 19 in here with an. Extra mag and it's got extended mags in. It just so you can see the size at which. It takes up so there's the glock 19 with. The light on it and the extra man so. Again pretty straightforward overall. I've been impressed with it so far it feels and sounds solid this is I'm not. Sure exactly how thick this is it's probably i would imagine in the 10 to 8. Gauge range i would be surprised if it's much thinner than that just due to just. How solid it feels so overall I'm very. Alright guys want to take a really quick. Look at the hd 100 quick vaults from. Liberty so let's see what's in the box. First cleaning up looks like you can get. A couple keys tubular design. Next up oh instructions those are. Important telling you how to you know how to set your code and your warranty. Information by the way you get two years on this guy please look at it just like. That's all that's in the box set that off to the side so whoo. That is really heavy for its size wow that's beefy so it looks like you got your manual opening your key right. There get your tether port right there and. Then you have your known look it's got some braille right here at the top entry. Now one thing that's really interesting about this guys not only is it spring-loaded but you have to put five digits in this guy most of the gun volts and the bulldogs you only have to put four so this has an extra digit that you have to put in there it makes it more secure but it. Also takes a little bit longer to open it not that big of a deal but something's you might want to know about it's got the hydraulic ram it's got. Plenty of padding it does have a mute. Button and the set up button is what you use for when you want to when you want. To change the code it does have a led. It looks like on the inside here and it. Also has comes with some mounting screws and the tether or the security cable so. That you can put it around things like you know your car seat or chained it to a desk or whatever you might want to do. But there you go that's it rights there. In a nutshell now a lot to it's got. Two holes in the back so you could screw it to something say a wall or a desk. So you know i think for the money you're. Looking at about a hundred and twenty-five to a hundred and fifty bucks depending on where you buy it from it is. From a major manufacturer and the. Safe world i think this is a you can do. A lot of worse so it's very nicely made i. Mean it's really beefy it's pretty small. Which is nice oh there's lead as you can. See right there so it lights up when you. Enter it so you can see what you got and. Then if we take a piss allah says. Here's a here's my laser light training. Pistol and as you can see there's there's quite a bit of room although it doesn't look like there's a lot of room in there for big size pistols let. Me dig 91911 out of the safe, and we'll. Take a look at it okay so let's check. Out with a full-sized handgun what. It can do so no mag in this weapons empty weapon. So it will accept a full size handgun. Which is great there's not a lot of room there and i doubt that you could. Get this gun in its holster in here you. Might but there's not a lot of room here as you can see that is not a lot of. Playing their back and forth now my. Carry piece the xds fits in there. Perfectly with its holster so if it's a small carry gun i would imagine you'd be. Able to get the holster in there you might even be able to get a knife and a flashlight or a spare mag in there but. Either way i think it serves its purpose i think it's a nice bedside rig i think. It's a nice car rig it's certainly well. Made it is definitely beefy so what do i. Think about the hd 100 from liberty well. I think for the money it is kind of in. The middle i think the bulldog is a little bit. Cheaper and price and probably build construction just by a little bit though and then i think the gun vaults they're. Lying is probably a little bit above it in build quality and certainly in price but. For the money for a bond of 150 give or. Take a few dollars i think this guy is i. Think this guy's really built really well i mean i this is beefy it's really. Heavy for its size you know it has. Everything you need in it has the lead it has the no-look opening as the. Spring-loaded door i think that this would serve you well whether you're going to use it for a gun volt or not so obviously the cons are that it's. A little small you know but that actually probably is. What it was designed to do that's why it probably competes so well in the market you know it's not as big as some of the gun vaults that you know say bulldog. Makes or even gun vault themselves so on. Final note on these quick access gun safes you know as a parent it's really. Important for me that i have access or my wife has access to our firearms out. Primary defensive firearms but my. Children don't it's really. Important that people who shouldn't have access don't have access so these safes. Give you a tool that won't break the. Bank that allow you to have your gun near you. In your car besides your bed maybe in. Your desk and you don't have to be near your big primary safe wherever that is. Compact no issues you can put your. Valuables in their five digit. Code that you set up your program yourself it uses nine volt battery that's inside and it's redrilled with. Operational or programming bugs so to. Open your key for the first time you'll want to take the emergency override key place it in the key lock we're going to. Lay this down because this is a spring-loaded door push down and turn the key to the left this will open the door of your vault for the very first time to install your batteries for the first time you'll need to locate your battery compartment this. Compartment will hold 8 double a alkaline batteries to install your batteries you simply remove the cover. And you'll want to pay special attention to the positive and negative charges when installing the 8 alkaline batteries. You'll make sure you use fresh batteries for this procedure process then you can. Simply reinstall the battery cover and. This battery pack is mounted to the roof. Of your safe from a better view of this. You will refer to an expanded view diagram but i will simply show you that. The battery compartment slides into the safe behind the electrical box and fastens to the ceiling of the safe it will be secured by the 2 thumb wheel screws that have come in these structural packages now that you've installed your batteries you should have heard that one single beep which now lets you know the safe is operational and ready for use. To test this will close the door and we. Will try entering your factory code which is 1 2 3 4 1 1 2 3 4 1 so now we. Can see that safe is operating properly you also noticed on the inside there is. An led light that has come on and will remain lit for 30 seconds it is normal. For this light to go out after 30 seconds of use so now let's program your own personal code please keep in mind that your personal code will need to be 5 digits it can be any 5 digits for example for. This process I'm going to use 1 2 1 2 1. Here's my new code you want to review. Your expanded diagram for better illustration of where the programming button is located but it is located inside of the safe on the bottom of the. Electrical compartment on the left-hand side you will depress and release this. Button once you'll hear a single beep letting you know it's now safe to enter your new code 1 2 1 2 1 the safe is now beeped. Twice letting me know it has accepted my. New code now let's test the vault to see. If the new code is working properly before you close the door to vote you'll. Want to make sure that you have the emergency override keys not inside of the vault it's not a good practice to keep your keys inside of your vault at any time, so we'll close the door of the. Vault and let's test our new code one two on the ball is now. Ready for use as i previously mentioned your vault has an interior led light this light will. Automatically illuminate and remain on for 30 seconds once your five digit code is entered if you need more time and. Would like the light to be restarted. Please enter your code again with the door over so one two one will. Cause the light to remain lit for an additional 30 seconds this can repeat it until the necessary. Time has been reached you'll notice when I'm opening the vault you will hear the unique digital beeps as i press the 1 2. 3 or 4 buttons this can be disabled with. A rocker switch that can be found on the. Inside of the electrical panel for a better demonstration please refer to your expanded diagram view that came. With your instruction package you can. Simply find the rocker switch on the panel disabling the audio noises now the. Safe can be opened without hearing the exterior audio beats. If you entered the wrong combination into your vault these are by accident or. Someone trying to access your vault without permission the vault will be three times letting you know the wrong combination has not been accepted I'll. Demonstrate this for you now. So the vault is now letting me know that i have entered the wrong combination if this has done four consecutive times the. Vault will go into an automatic shutdown mode this mode will only last for three minutes allowing not anyone to access the vault including you even with the. Proper combination after the three-minute waiting period you will be able to access your vault once again using your own personal five digit code your. Vault may also be operated with an external power supply you'll notice on. The right-hand side of the keypad there isn't receptacle for a one-eighth inch or 1.5 millimeter tip 12 volts. Adapter this adapter is not included. With your vault but may be purchased from bulldog vaults or in any electrical supply house once the adapter is inserted into the receptacle and plugged into the wall the vault can now be operated with or without the battery if. The batteries are installed the vault will save the batteries for emergency use and will only be activated if there is a loss of power your vault may be permanently mounted to a wall or floor with the included hardware you'll notice. You see them on amazon and everywhere from 229 to 239 with free shipping no. Tax amazon with drudge me tax though so i avoided that i went to ebay pay no tax. So it's something to think of if i open. It up later it looks pretty sealed and stuff i got to run across the street and do a little work than this rental real quick in the meantime it looks like a. Cool device look at the reviews everybody loves it and it's nice about. It doesn't come with a mounting plate but this one you could buy optional for about 25 bucks a metal mounting plate. Which you could secure to the ground or to the wall or something and then secure the box to it's like somebody can't just pick your box up and walk away with $2,000 pistol so something to think. How's it going guys sheepdog 88 here and. Today we're doing another review and this review is gonna be on the liberty hdx 350 now this is one of the biometric. Safes that liberty offers which are pretty popular nowadays one they allow you to access your safe without having a key and then make it a lot quicker in. Order to get into your safe whether you have a firearm or any other. Valuables locked away but this one is huge this is their 350 this is a part of. Their defender series and i believe this is the biggest one they offer so you have plenty of room on the inside it does have a lot of cool features too which I'm going to talk about but starting off right here as you can see. Is the fingerprint scanner or the. Biometric scanner now the 350 allows you to store up to 30 different types of fingerprints now in the manual or in the. Instructions i do recommend storing the same fingerprints fingerprint more than. Once so what i do is i saved my same. Fingerprint on each finger my left hand. In my right hand i do that three times i enrolled it so that way i don't have to. Worry about it not recognize my fingerprint immediately so i did that so. Let me go out and open here just to show you the inside of it so right now i do have it plugged in it opens in one second it this does have a battery backup so if your power goes out in your. House or anything like that you could still access it with the battery it comes with a nine volt battery and you. Have a key to override it as well comes with two keys let's go ahead in take a. Look at the inside just so i could show you how much space you really have in here. All right so right now i got a pistol a. Spare magazine and a flashlight you noticed when it did open up right away it does have the lead light in orbital in order to light it up in there so right. Here also another cool feature is a drawer i don't have anything in there. Right now but you could put any kind of documents. Ids your passport jewelry anything like. That you do have a small drawer that's really not in the way it's kind of high. Here but it does slide back and forth. But look at the size of this thing i could easily fit two pistols in here right now i like i said you said one sig. P320 it's a medium sized pistol i. Got a spare mag got a flashlight right i. Had this set up for home defense but if you look back here a really cool feature that they added is a usb port with an. Led light on it so I'm able to charge something inside the safe locked away. Also they do give you two usb ports on. The outside to charge your cell phone or anything like that but just showing you. The size of this it's pretty big. And when this safe opens up here open it. Again just listen to how quiet it is so. It doesn't slam down i know there are. 250 oh there's smaller one when that door. Comes open it's pretty loud i mean it opens quick which is nice but if you. Have a break-in and you want to get to your pistol you probably don't want to. Give away your position or make a lot of. Noise you want to be quite so that's a nice feature that they added it still opens very quick but it softly opens and does not slam down showing you the. Outside here so right here you can see. They have the two usb chargers right now. I just got a battery by external battery. Backup charging right now and it's. Plugged in so i like to keep this plugged in this right now it's on my workbench but i keep this on my nightstand right next to my bed so i have quick access to my firearm and it's locked away don't have to worry. About anyone getting to it but this. Thing is awesome it's a nice size it's solid right here. Is the lock for the key override let me. Show you that. So it does come with two of these keys right here real small keys i keep one on. My key chain and i actually have the other one in my big safe for my other. Liberty safe as you can see opens up. Right away don't have anything to worry. About now this battery compartment it's kind. Of hard to see let me see the look at the flashlight on it so it's right up here on top that's where the 9-volt battery sits and then right here that. Yellow button that's what you use to program it if you hold it down for i believe i don't know five to ten seconds all these lights there's already a green. A yellow and a red light walt flicker look at Christmas tree that resets all the memory resets all the fingerprints and then you could register. Each fingerprint one at a time you hold that button down for a few seconds the green and yellow light will come on and then you slowly swipe your finger over about five times and when the green light flickers that means it's registered now this one is cool because. You could either push your finger forward or pull your finger back it's. Either/or which is nice another nice feature this safe and i. Mean this thing is solid if someone were to try to break into this they don't need some tools it's gonna slow them down it's gonna take a while and this will prevent somebody from gaining access to your firearm really quick. Alright so some other features are those. Safe here alright so yeah this liberty. Safe is amazing liberty makes really good quality product products as you can see they're made in the usa now you guys might have seen my other video where i do a review of my liberty centurion 24 gun safe so. I've been extremely happy with the. Quality of liberty i mean they're really. Second to none when it compares to safe makers i know there's a lot of. Other state companies out there that are a little bit less expensive but you get. What you pay for i will gladly pay a. Little bit extra as long as i know I'm getting a really good quality product it's made in the usa that actually means a lot to me so this safe why would. Somebody get this safe now i think this is great for somebody who maybe really. Isn't that big of a gun guy or isn't. Into firearms that much and need something for home defense realizes like hey i need a firearm to protect myself and i don't need a 24 or 25 gun safe i. Don't want a small lockbox i want something a little more secure so this is a great option for that this is something you could hide really close in. A closet next to your bed on the nights and the nice stands where i keep it this also it doesn't come with it but. You could buy a cable to secure it to. Something or you could buy a mounting plate so if you plan on keeping this somewhere secure like me I'm moving pretty soon so I'm not gonna secure it down yet but once i get my new house I'm planned on securing this down that stops. Somebody from just walking away with the entire state but if you don't have mounting options or anywhere to bolt it down the cable is another great option. For that too but this is good for. Somebody anybody really who has a. Handgun and wants it you know access to. It quick someone needs a break-in and you could also get this for stuff other besides firearms es you know documents. Money anything like that you want to keep secure but this is more geared towards storing a firearm especially. With the biometric scanner of quick access but yeah i mean this has a lot of. Room so i don't plan on running out of. Room with this thing i mean it even goes. Back pretty far like i said i could fit at least two pistols lots of money that. Drawers a real nice feature they added up there I'm glad to have the drawer also i love that usb charger so that way. I could charge you know my cell phone. My battery charge or anything like that. I could have charged security my safe. Seeing a lot of these biometric safes on the market and i was happy when liberty. Started making their own because i knew. The quality was just gonna be ten times. Better than what any other company has put on the market a lot of these. Biometric readers makes people nervous you know i don't know if it's gonna read. My fingerprint exactly when i need it and this one has been a hundred percent. Functional it works every time i read my fingerprint like i said i did store each fingerprint three times just to make. Sure even in the manual it says liberty recommend storing it multiple times so i did three times on each index finger on both hands so that way i can access it. With any head and like i said i could. There youtube this is just a quick review of my gun safe i just bought i. Don't have a lot of firearms or a lot of stuff i need to store so it works for me it is a liberty centurion twelve gun and. They stay twelve guns and that's optimistic let's give you a quick shot. Of this safe stands about almost six. Feet tall i have bolted to the floor it features. This really excellent this mechanical dial lock and this thing. Is smooth and it's very high quality i mean it's its a really high quality single handle opens it like i said it's. Android level safe it's a basic safe for. The for the money i mean where else are you gonna find a fireproof safe i paid $300 for it at. Lowe's it was the floor model, so they gave it to me with four twenty-five percent off including my lowest card once you have. Your dial once you have your combination set opening is just a matter of using this latch and it opened it swings right. Open it has five locking bars that. Protrude better the flat style bar they. Are not that they're not the round bar i. Mean i feel just too secure with these as with the round bar i mean if i were a burglar i would think that these would be just as tough to get through as a round bar I'm not a thief like i said i. Don't know if they are the hinges on this i mean it could be a bit of a pitfall you got your hinges here on the. Outside if those are cut through i imagine that would probably be the first place i would try there are the interiors. Locking bars and this is just something i wanted to show you they don't have they don't they don't retract these bars. Right here there're these bars it's kind. Of hard to get a good camera angle on it but these bars don't retract these are. Stationary bars and there's five on this. Side as well and they just roll into. This edge right here they fit right behind this edge right here okay so if. Someone were to remove the hinge and try to remove it would this would prevent them from opening it that way and there are five, and they're made of the same material, and they're welded actually. They're welded, and they come through the fan if you were to remove this carpeting. They would be mounted inside here as. Well this door is hollow I'd like to point. Out it's removable it's very handy i. Brought this safe weighs close to 300 pounds i brought it up the stairs. Myself i couldn't bring it up but just that with the door attached it was too heavy and i had a commercial dolly with a 10-inch wheel inflatable wheel on it and i could not yank this thing up to stir it was just too heavy i removed the door my legs were still burning trying to press this thing up the stairs i did give it up by myself. Though but you can remove the door with. These set screws when you want to remove it watches out for these dull one these. Dull and load-bearing washers or. Bushings and they will come out and. There's a solid steel rupp pin that holds them so it's very solidly made and i feel very confident in this safe the. Shelving its adjustable this upper. Shelf here it has a cutaway so you can. Fit your lung guns i have a shotgun right here full-length shotgun a 28 inch. Barrel and it would fit back there but. I'd like to keep that in as close as. Possible okay for home defense needs. There's there's a little roomy i mean I've got room in there for more stuff but there you basically have it yet if. You remove this shelf here removing this. Shelf here if you're to remove it. Here's one for your other six arms right there and this has velcro on the bottom. So it sticks right on there it'll stick. Into place there's room for your other guns i have it covered now use it as a padded as a shelf as a place to put stuff securely it's its a nice safe i. Mean if you felt the density and the thickness of this material you. Would know that it's a really well-made very solid solving made safe. Now the next shelf here I've got I'm. Just using it for like some ammo. Storage this shelf is removable and it. Removes the sley there's some there're pins under here that below here don't. Now if you can see them but it mounts them out there pretty securely this. Is also removable shelf so you have a lot more many more options the bottom. One is basically just goes right to the floor i keep my long guns over on this. Side here i have a 22 inch or 20 inch. Barrel ar and a 18 inch su 16 cal tech. And a full set flint shock and i have a lot of guys without a huge gun collector i do like them this safe is ideal for my. Needs as i said i you know if you have. Like a lot of guns you have 12 guns its optimistic i think honestly look at that. Six guns max i mean the handles the. Pistol grips on this on these arms if they're if they. Protrude if anything but roode's past that point there the door will not close. So i mean they're very optimistic when. They say it'll hold twelve rifles maybe twelve 22 long rifles but the door is. Very thick as you can see this tape is. Fireproof 1200 degrees for thirty. Minutes really good bike and just shuts. Really well and then it's locked close the closet door nobody even knows. It is bolted down and it is in a closet. Slash kind of like a i guess like a. Little workroom kind of printer computer. Just a range bag and got some ammo cans. Sitting down here so this was originally. This is in my basement this is originally supposed to be a bathroom but anyway here's kind of safe let me let. You guys see the inside here real quick give me a second all right just take a. Look here i try to move back so as you. Can see um so I've got seven long guns. Here obviously i could fit them all on. This side it was just very cluttered and. I'll eventually do that once i start filling this side up but for right now i just kind of want to have quick access to my long guns without having to move. All the ones around or out of the way. I'm not sure what to do with this shelf. Yet just got a bunch of mags got a rail on here that I'm gonna be actually. Putting replacing this nine-inch rail. Right here on one of my hair ar-15s with that 12 inch and well so one thing i did do is i. Ordered this door panel here and it. Actually works great add my doubts but it worked great sorry guys i can't really get a good view on in a corner you're only go up against a wall but comes with this velcro panel and i was. Actually a little surprised that it could hold some of these some of these guns um most of these are all steel. They're quite heavy and i was pleasantly. Surprised got some pockets here we've got. Passports this is a just a hard drive. That i have for my backups and there's. Another pouch down here I'm not sure. What to do with that yet i also have so. I've got these um motion sensing lights in here oh if you guys can see them let's see these are from costco all as. Well they are battery operated I've as well. Got one on this side and see if you can. See it here there it is sensor and this. One's a little busted and then I'm going. To be mounting that one to the. Top here the haven't done that yet. I actually just got this not long ago but anyway this is again advertises a 24. Gun safe you know it's not the best safe in the world it does have these four one. Inch diameter hinges here are not hinges but bolts excuse me right there it is uh. It does have a lifetime warranties your cost repairs your across replace so i. Was pretty happy with that it says is fire safe up to 30 minutes. 1200 degrees again like i said guys this. Is more of a gun cabinet more than anything it's going to keep the bad guys away for i guess for a little bit longer than my old cabinet but it will do the job and i also got. This lot down dry rod here which is. Fantastic yeah it's a little hot to the. Touch but it's plugged in keeps the. Moisture out keeps enough moisture on i guess to prevent any rust from forming here on these guns and that's it. Um this is not a final configuration still trying to figure out I've got some extra shelves might play around. With the shelves and try to get a little.
