What’s going on everybody product reviews coming back at you with another knife review, and today we are looking at the TF 8 for 8 little popular knife on Amazon little titanium, assisted opening pretty fast little trigger on it right there, a standard drop point blade on it. You’ve got your dual thumb studs right there nice, it Jinping’s right here not incorporated into the blade, but they do have a nice little thumb ramp right there get. Your bevel right here seems to be pretty large running up that blade.
Your oil now I’m not gonna, be able to choke up on that, but right there standard liner a lot. Oh! No! It’s not look at that. That’s a pretty long, so frame lock back! Let’s see if I can get a better view of it. So, as you can see, and what that is, is it means it’s using the back frame of this knife to actually come in and lock. It gives you a little bit stronger, lock on your blade than some of those inner liner locks. So that’s actually a good thing on it. You know it actually seems to be super smooth bone yeah, so I can actually throw this little thing up, pretty good, so one hand close right there, not too bad.
Let’s keep going on this thing see what else we looking at now I. Don’t like the fact that this pocket clip doesn’t sit super high, but this is a smaller pocket knife, but pocket clip seems to be pretty beefy right there, one small little divot. You know you really want your divots about right there on it and then hey look at that. Even got a little lanyard hole right there in the back so guys. That’s it just a quick review on the task force tf8 for eight little titanium, EDC knife, but guys I, hope your review helped.
If you were thinking about getting it. If you want to go check it out, I’ll leave a link in the description below and I’ll. See you guys the next one.
Attractive TF 509 from tat force, a brand of master cutlery, aluminum handle scales, and it is a liner-lock folding knife. It does have an assist, so it comes out fast and easy Wow and notice. Look at that. Look at the rainbow spectrum. Multicolor! Look at that purple violet. That is an awesome effect right. There see it is a liner, lock, very secure, very sturdy lock. Now it also has a rescue, glass, breaker and built-in seatbelt cutter as well, and you see the pocket clip.
This is stainless steel and the length of the the clothes length at 4 and 3/4 inches length of the blade itself is 3 and 1/4 inches overall I mean this would make a great gift. I mean look. How look how nice that rainbow spectrum pattern looks on this blade, great work from tack, force and master cutlery, video shopping network and Amazon affiliate to see this product on Amazon click. Back at you another night for viewing today we’re looking at the TF 9 8 1, Survival, ninth by TAC force. This thing is actually pretty cool when I got it, it was newly launched, but just now getting time to actually sit down to a review on it. But let’s dive into it, let’s see what this thing’s got: alright, so right off the bat I’m gonna.
Let you know that product probes, Christian, was gonna end up doing this night, so he already has I, think the pocket shots and the sharpness and things like that. But let’s go ahead and let’s check out this trigger so right down here. Let me show you on this close-up. As you can see, the trigger is actually 6 not pretty far, but it’s still covered a little bit by the top of that knife so right there, but you can still get your pointer to it boom.
That was that blade up pretty good, so I like that, just a large pocketknife, survival-type knife drop point blade, I Michelle right down here. So again, just your standard drop point blade right here. You’ve got your dual thumb studs on it. No Jinping’s incorporate it into the blade to actually have the thumb ramp right there, but large belly on it, and it seems to be rather sharp right out of the box so hit or miss.
But let’s go see how product probe christian did with this bling. Let’s go ahead, check out the sharpness on this knife, starting with the cut down. So it’s already from the back right there not too bad at all, very minimal tearing let’s go ahead and try that one more time so yeah not bad at all very little, ripping let’s go ahead and test how this point being? That is a drop point.
It’s probably gonna be super sharp, but let’s go ahead and test it on out. So it’s not too bad. There is a little push yeah on the cut down. I’ll get to ripping right. There huh see, like the tip of the blade, isn’t very sharp. So oh yeah, that’s a lot better. So once you get towards the back of the blade, lock sharper, really good knife, guys, okay, so so this thing on the stone one once or twice probably got yourself a pretty good blade right there, but moving on down to the handle, let’s see what we got so right here.
You do have a plastic handle right here. You plastic bolsters, but you have this abs rubberized handle which gives it a nice grip to it. Even in the defensive stance that rubberized handle right, there makes it feel great. Now one thing I don’t like about this rubberized handle is putting it in my pocket. It’s so hard to slide in and out it catches right here.
You know this knife any of the knives that have that plastic coating. So for me personally, it’s definitely more of a bug out bag knife, but you’ve got it, throw it up and do what you got to do. It’s fine even on the standard cuts. You’ve got some Jinping’s right down here in the Michelle they’ve incorporated right here in the spine of the knife.
It also got a nice little thumb ramp right there and then right down here. You can’t really choke up on it, but over that ladder a lot I got to show you better. This way, they’ve got just your standard liner lock, but it’s not too far out so simple, close there simple open, but when I’ve got it here, I actually can rest my finger on that liner lock without having to worry about it.
Closing on my hand, but you know a lot of times. You really would want to frame lock with it being right there, but it doesn’t seem to have a problem at all I’m trying to think if I could maybe move it. No, you don’t have any trouble. With that single hand, closed right here, single hand, deployment, let’s try single hand closed again.
Yeah time is a little bit easier, but still not too bad. Let’s move it on down a little bit. So, as you can see, right here got a nice beefy pocket clip on it. Large divot might fray your pocket over time say that thing dents in right there, but get your tack force logo right. There on the handle now this thing does not go all the way up and that’s because they’ve incorporated this little lanyard hole right back here in the back, but you might have a little bit sticking out of your pocket.
However, even right here you see some Jinping’s that they put now, that’s probably for yeah, I, guess a deep, thin subside. You know with my thumb, I like to go on top, but I could see that or yeah. So non-lethal tight defense tool right there -, that’s, probably where your gym pings are gonna, be used for right there on that backside.
But, speaking of that pocket clip, let’s go see our private probes Christian. This thing does in his pocket. Alright I can already tell with this rubber right here. He’s gonna stick sliding into the pocket. So, let’s kind of see that’s the case. Slides yeah I can definitely feel that rubber sticking to the inside of your pants first off thing off the back.
I, don’t like how much of that knife is sticking out. As you can see right there, you got a good half inch of the knife sticking out concealed building, though rather is not too bad. They’re printing. However, there is quite a bit of printing just because it’s a thicker more of a survival knife. You know you’re rather gonna, have it in a backpack or on on a bug-out bag.
Something like that, pull out good one hand pull out it’s almost as if it’s not beefy enough yeah. You can see right there, it’s almost as it’s not beads, but I guess that kind of does help out. So the sticking on the sides with the rubber doesn’t affect it too. Bad swipes in, like I, said pretty nicely one-handed, really not too bad as I’m thinking it was gonna, be okay.
So again my preferences I, don’t like it right here sliding in your pocket with that rubber. But as far as a tactical knife, this thing seems tactical knife survival knife, this thing’s super lightweight, so you could throw it in a bag and you’d be good to go. You know you can get a lot of control right here. You can’t really choke up much cuz, there’s not a large coil down there, so I wouldn’t go choking up on it, but if you could choke up just a hair more, you could probably get more control, but with that drop point blade being so large and with a grip like this, you could definitely do some serious damage.
If you had a sharp enough blade on this thing, but guys it is lightweight at least I think it is so let’s go get the weight of it. They’ll also check out the measurements as well all right. Let’s get the measurements on this so fully. Opening we’re gonna be looking at nine inches, with a blade of three and a half inches fully closed.
It’s gonna be five inches, so let’s grab the weight on this thing: real, quick, that’s not even Wow! So six ounces even saying that it feels like weight. It’s actually only heavier side of knobs, but it seems to be balanced well, which is good cause I’m gonna balance it yeah balance seems to do fine on it guys, but that’s it guys, just a quick review on the TF 981 again.
This thing was newly lost when I got it, but it still is a newer nine. So if you’re looking for a cheaper type, little bug out bag survival knife, even a camping knife, I’m gonna go check. This thing out, you wanna, go check it out. I’ll, leave a link in the description below and we’ll be giving this thing away on one of our Friday night night, giveaways so be sure to go check those out as well.
We moved over to a different platform just our website, because we can no longer give knives away. You know on YouTube, so if you wanna go check it out, we have a lot of fun over. There probably proves calm just right up there at the top and you’ll see it. The guys appreciate you watching hope the review helped if you’re thinking about getting it and I’ll see y’all in the next one.
Back at you with another night review today, we’re looking at Amazon’s popular tack, force tf8 for eight. This is a cheaper knife and it’s actually one of the most popular little cheap EDC knives. So, let’s dive into it and let’s see what this thing’s got, alright guys right off the bat. Let me go and give you a close-up on this blade. So right here, as you can see, just a titanium coated I, like the all great titanium looked at. It has almost like the gunmetal, but just a simple drop point blade on it right.
There does have the dual thumb: studs chippings right there on the handle and then the little thumb ramp right there on the blade. Now, as you can see, it is just a three finger hold on it right there and simple frame lock guys, so it actually does not have a big liner. It has eight frame, so it’s gonna give it a lot stronger hold on that blade. Now one downside and won’t say it’s a super downside just yet and we’ll go check it out, but that pocket clip does not seem to be beefy at all. You know it is the tip down, carry as you can see right there, but you know what are you gonna do with the cheaper knives like this and then again it is just an aluminum.
Handle, does have the lanyard hole right back there just in case now, with this lanyard hole, you could add a bead and maybe make it a four finger type hole, but you know I would probably just keep it like. It is, let’s at least go see. How sharp this knife really is all right. Let’s get the sharpness on this thing. Real, quick, so right here on the straight down, cut, actually catches fine and it, but you can see the rips and tears that it had, but that actually was a little bit surprising.
Let’s try it at an angle right here, a little bit harder to catch on the angle yeah. It doesn’t run too good on the side. Let’s try that angle, one more time yeah that Tommy it doesn’t seem to have a problem catching. But, as you can see right here guys it doesn’t run the full length of it. But if you were to really sharpen this sucker up, you could probably have a pretty good edge. You know not too bad right there on this blade. You know not sure how long it’s going to keep an edge but to be right out of the package.
That’s not too bad at all and guys again with those ambidextrous or dual thumb. Studs, let’s see how it flips open like that BAM, okay, so not too bad, does have that quick-release right back there on the back as well. If you wanted to use that, but BAM just a one hand, open single hand, deployment single hand close rather now, let’s go ahead and let’s check out this pocket clip on it. So right here guys, as you can see not too impressed with the pocket clip on it, you know it seems to not be as beefy as I was hoping, but you know with these cheaper knives.
You don’t really expect too much with it. But with that being said, let’s go ahead and let’s go check it out and see what this thing looks like in the pocket. All right. Let’s see how this thing looks in the pocket so right over here, real quick, so maybe with a scoot back a little bit, I am slide. It in looks like it might be catching on that thumb stud, but it’s still hitting the top. So that’s not too bad right there. The print on it seems to be fine concealed side of it right there. Let’s see right here, pull out your trigger is right there and you’re good to go.
You know for the pocket clip to not be as BP as it is. It’s actually not too bad. You know fitting in the pocket like that, but it is an aluminum handle guys, but it does have the frame lock on it. So right here, let’s flip this sucker open. Let me see if I can’t show y’all a little bit better. So you know a lot of times. You’ll have a liner lock on some of these, but they went ahead and made this a frame lock. So it’s gonna get that blade. You know just more of a hold on it, using the frame lock like this and by using the frame lock.
It’s actually gonna cut down on the weight a little bit so with that being said, let’s go ahead. Let’s go get the wait on it and we’ll check out the measurements as well all right, let’s check out the measurements on this thing. Real quick so got a blade length. Oh well, I! Guess, if you’re really looking at the blade itself, it’s gonna be two and a half inches fully open. We’re gonna, be looking at six inches and then closed. We are going to be it. Let’s do it. This way might be a little easier.
Three and a half inches closed right there. Now, let’s go ahead, let’s check out the weight on it so right here. Let’s let this thing zero out, see what we got. Three point: four, you know for the size. This is a little bit heavier. However, it is a full stainless steel knife, but three point four is still not terrible for this knife. Well, there you have it guys, the TF, eight four eight and we give you one last little close-up on it. As you can see, it has the lanyard hole right there on the back, and if you look, it is just a three finger grip BAM right here, but that thumb ramp.
You know I’d probably have to go a little bit above it, but for smaller hands. You can really get in and do some detailed work without fear of a cheap liner lock because they did go in the frame lock on it. So you know a few downsides might just be that pocket. Clip and you’re. Probably gonna have to throw this thing if it’ll hold up on a blade, but not sure if it will last as long. You know for as many uses, rather for you to have to sharpen it. But if it does, you know for a cheap, little EDC knife.
This might not be too bad at all. So guys, if you want to go check it out, I will leave a link in the description below appreciate ya’ll, watching be sure to check us out on the weekends where we give knives away every single weekend on the live streams, but hit that subscribe. Button and I’ll see y’all in the next one.
Cutlery, this is item T, F, 4, 5, 8, SF and the SF stands for special forces. It also comes in two other models: the PD and the RG models. Now the closed length of this folding knife is 4 and 1/2 inches. The blade length is 3 and 1/4 inches. Note the desert camouflage you can see it can blend in pretty nicely to this particle board presentation table, and this would think you can tell this- would actually be excellent. Camouflage in a desert terrain as well stainless steel, blade, combo edge, a tanto tip for both piercing ability and for strength, yeah, it’s very, very attractive.
Nice special-forces medallion, there guess overall, very nice knife now this does have an assist mechanism, meaning it gives a little boost. The deployment on this is excellent. Look at that it is a liner lock, see there as a very strong liner, lock as well. It’s easy to disengage overall, a very attractive way: great little utility blade for someone in the military or someone who just supports the military. Very excellent folding knife from TAC force and master cutlery.
Just bought myself and received this tac4 speedster model tactical rescue outdoor pocket knife. It’s not very big, comes in this box already opened it up. It’s not true. Unboxing comes in plastic if you’re, if you’re concerned, but I was fooling around with it a little bit and thought it’s a pretty nice little knife I was kind of looking for something that wasn’t very expensive, but you know what works well and it’s something you can take on a camping trip.
First of all, it’s it’s it’s it’s small! It’s pretty compact! The thing is, it looks really cool. It has kind of this very futuristic, but yet organic type of skeletonize going to open, cut I, don’t know that you know it kind of leaves the blade a little exposed, but it doesn’t seem like I can get in there and reach it.
It gives you some places to tie off the the the knife without blocking the blade, so you can attach it to a backpack and whatnot this piece. These out, these outer pieces come in a couple different colors. This one is kind of like a dark metallic charcoal. So it’s that’s kind of interesting and it also seems to be cast.
It has a little texture to it, so it seems kind of like a sand. Casting I noticed that there are a couple like little nick marks that look like they were done before the treatment. Whatever this finished treatment is it’s not like anodizing. It feels like a powder coat. It’s it’s slick, I mean it kind of feels like a ceramic I’m sure it definitely seems tough.
It doesn’t seem like it’s painted on. It seems like it’s more baked on to that, but you know, and a little bit of texture, a little bit of you know stippling here like on on these the slight raised edges, but overall kind of kind of alien, looking I kind of dig it. The it also has a clip a metal clip here which is pretty stiff up.
So you know if you’re going to put this on your belt. I have no doubt that that’s gonna that’s going to hold on quite well and again. Skeletonized. There are some holes in here which I don’t know what I would use those for. They might just be designed kind of lighten up the metal this this kind of back rib. This kind of looks like a vertebra here, like I, said it’s kind of where you could attach stuff, and this tip is not the tip of the knife.
I’ll kind of show you there’s the knife itself, but it would work as a small flat-head. Screwdriver could also work as a punch. You know, I was thinking if I were stuck in a car, you could or you’re getting a dog out of a hot car or a baby stuck in a in an abandoned car. You know this probably work very well to smash glass because of its pretty pointy, but it’s not kind of sharp – sharp that you have to worry about stab yourself, okay, so the other thing is.
This looks like a bottle opener to me very useful. It’s the black metal piece here that lifts it up is pretty thick I, don’t have any worries about it and a breaking so that’s kind of cool. So don’t worry about your apocalyptic days. You’re still going to be able to pop open those coca-cola’s. The interesting thing is that that piece to lever off a bottle cap top is also the lock for the knife.
So when you open it all the way up, you can see that it’s bolted and snaps into place so that the knife doesn’t close on its own. So you would have to push this in to release the knife and then now it’ll close. The one thing I will tell you about this tag. Force knife is that I I don’t have any concerns about it, flip and open, and actually I was trying to use this cutout here like for a single-handed open and it might loosen up over time, but I couldn’t do it.
One-Handed I pulled it up like this, but once you get just a little bit beyond this opening it pretty much snaps into this 90 degree position. You can open it all the way up, but that is actually. There is a little bit of kind of natural tension to flip it into this position. So the knife blade itself is finished in black the edge here, obviously, where it’s silver is nice and shiny and a pretty sharp serrated edge here for sawing and what I also like is the the little patrician here to protect as you’re cutting into things so that you don’t slip all the way past.
But you know, let’s cut out pretty thick here on the back end and again with safety lock, so pretty cool, not inexpensive, nice, something you definitely carry check it out. I’ll put a link down below to get it, but a lot of value for the money and definitely looks cool Peter Vaughn panda out.

Ordered my another self another tack force knife and I want to show it to you, because this is one I already showed you at the TF 800 CA and it comes in this woodland, camouflage and I was so impressed with it. It kind of opens so easily and it’s a nice form factor in size. I ordered this one, which is the TF 800 DM, the so the desert, camo and I just want to kind of show them next to each other.
So you can decide what camouflage pattern you want. This is obviously that digital camo in kind of more you know tan brown etc, not a super, precise printing. This is the woodland, more green and Browns. You know if you’re in the Midwest or forested area. This is what you want, arboreal area and if you’re in a desert area, this might be more what you want, but just in general, you I think you might just be trying to figure out which one looks cool and the the switch here to helps release the knife.
It’s nice, because it doesn’t require a lot of effort. I think that’s part of the size and that it’s the the blade isn’t in there too tough. It’s the same thing that I saw found on this one. It was pretty easy to deploy and that’s what I liked I actually liked that this one was really nice and easy to use easy to kind of get the blade out when I needed it, and so I was hoping that this one would be the same way just push this to the side, and then you can release the blade.
The this is a polymer or a yeah, a nylon fiber case, and what I can tell you is that the material I think is kind of like those laminates that go on to the polymer fiber. You can see here, it’s a little beat-up I just got this, so it’s new, so you’re getting somewhere here, it’s hard for me to try to scrape anymore off.
But that being said, I don’t think you’re gonna do a lot of damage to it. It’s probably the sake. Some abuse, but the design and the pattern on the on printed on top of the nylon is probably going to get banged up and fade, and that may be just fine for your use. I, don’t think, there’s really anything unless the the colors are molded in directly to the to the polymers that it’s going to, you know really be super durable or powder coated or sera coated, or something like that.
So you know especially for a knife that is eight bucks. You can’t really expect that much 440, stainless steel I believe that’s what I thought I saw on the other side here. You know black finish: handmaiden, chena black steel clip here can I’m nice and tight, and everything seems to be pretty pretty good. So, basically, I just really like this knife.
Again only give you some quick measurements, four and a half inches long closed and then I believe. A blade here is three and a half inches long, so yeah, overall kind of a nice little package and some assists right here on the blade too so I really liked this one I thought this would go in one of my pads I, like this too, wanted to get it in a different color a scheme and just see what it looked like and put this in a different pack.
So just a nice all-round knife, it seems to be holding up pretty well Peter Vaughan panda, with my attack force tactical rescue outdoor speedster model, this one’s the TF 800 DM OH,.
Attractive TF 509 from tap force, a brand of master cutlery, aluminum handle scales, and it is a liner, lock, folding knife.
This is stainless steel and the length of the the closed length at 4 and 3/4 inches length of the blade itself is 3 and 1/4 inches overall I mean this would make a great gift. I mean look. How look how nice that rainbow spectrum pattern looks on this blade, great work from tack, force and master cutlery.
What’s up guys, Peter Vaughn panda here here, I just bought this tank forest, it’s a speedster model. This is actually a TF 8, 9, 3 gy and that stands for gray. I. Believe pick this up as I told you before I’m, putting together a couple little EDC pouches to keep my cars and ready for day hikes and just needed a blade for each so I thought I’d check this. One out to you know get there. These tak forest knives have certainly pretty well and they’re pretty cheap.
This one is under $8 that included prime shipping and everything I picked it up on Amazon. As you can see here, the side is grey. It kind of looks like a reclaimed wood but I’m. Assuming it’s some sort of nylon. You know what I mean I’ll be might be a monkey’s uncle, but it almost looks like you can kind of see here where it’s cut out. I mean it’s all like laser-cut and etched. It actually kind of looks like layers of real wood and actually kind of sounds like it.
So color me surprised, I mean I’m, gonna, I’m, gonna kind of say. This is actually layered wood, alright, I guess. I didn’t really look at carefully at the description, but you know clip here on the side as you would expect, and so it’s kind of great I really love this color I mean I, love that reclaimed wood, look and actually I’m almost positive. It is now because, if you can see here were the laser etching gotta cut us kind of like a you know, a distressed or kind of warped piece of the wood or kind of an aged pieces.
That kind of fell out there’s a kind of one over it I think it’s real, so called me surprised it’s actually pretty light, and you know it feels good for my purposes. It’s gonna work, fine, but if you’re gonna be in a really tough environment where it’s gonna be I, don’t know a lot of abuse and maybe rigging or water or something you know, then maybe this materials are gonna be the right, for you probably will need a nylon or a plastic or something like that, but so be it a little groove cuts right there.
This should fit pretty nicely and these clips are pretty pretty strong. Now it does have the the flip assist to switch right here on the bottom, and it’s like skeleton has a little hole and wow that one comes out easy. So you know it’s kind of spring loaded. It kind of wants to stay in the closed position tool. You get right about here right about there and then wants to flip out. So that was really simple and then it opens up like this and you know, should lock in a place.
So if I do this, you can see there’s nothing I, you know. Oh, you know what there we go. It just went so if I, really, if I kind of, if I open it see, I’m opening it all the way and it’s not going, but if I kind of really flex it there, it was just enough to get it in. There is a black blade here and why I liked this is that it’s kind of like that traditional you know big, sweeping curved blade I, like that. There was a lot of meat that didn’t kind of come down to a thin point where, like some way other knives, not that it’s a big deal but I liked it.
It’s a little more of like kind of that bowie knife type of look and so I just like that. There’s a lot of meat on this blade- and you know so should hopefully last a while I, also like that. The fact that the blade edge doesn’t have like that tanto edge. So if I needed to sharpen on a stone I could probably do that pretty easily and be able to sharpen it without a problem. Then to close it, you just push this locking piece aside here, close it back up.
You also have an assist bar right here. It doesn’t go all the way through or I guess it does, but it doesn’t stick out that side, so it’s kind of a right hand open motion only to get this open, although I kind of like the finger assist but overall, you know nice little blade. Eight bucks will go in my EVC pouch and accompany me when I go out mine next day, hike, Peter, Brown, panned out.

Hey guys, this is dan from middle age maniac, and this is the eve and grow snake head. Folding camper for everyday carry the even grow. Snakehead folding camper comes with 440 stainless steel. G10 handle with a 3 7 inch blade. It also comes with a lever, lock and assisted opening with a back side lever. The snake head comes with an exceptionally sharp blade and that opening action is awesome.
You have a bearing pivot, you have the belt clip the g10 handle feels great. The belt clip does not get in the way of my hand when I’m holding it and the viper head on the blade. The cons, guys is, if you do try to close this with one hand and larry is a one-handed closer. You can get this blade right here. There’s a little sharp edge right there, guys that you could cut your thumb, so you got to be really careful.
I don’t have that problem because I’m a two-handed closer because I always have been so. It doesn’t bother me but larry’s a one-hander. He did bring that up and that is a definite con. Otherwise, guys this is a cool knife, I don’t have a lot of bad things to say about it. It looks cool, it feels great. It does come exceptionally sharp and you know for the price I would.
I would give it a shot for everyday carry. I think it’s a great knife, so this is dan from middle age. Maniac. If you like, our content, hit that subscribe button and the notification bell, we will see you guys in the next video peace. You.
