We're going to be going over the Cabela's men's zoned comfort track hunting boots. What I'm wearing today we've been wearing all season. I'll start by saying I've had really good success with the Cabela's branded boots. We had the instinct accelerator boots for probably about five years. I finally just about wore through them.
This year these new ones and the really cool thing about these is the zoned insulation throughout. It's got different levels of insulation throughout different parts of the boots to keep those parts of your foot warmer or cooler. It's zoned for those different areas that get cold faster and the areas that don't get as cold are gonna have less insulation. Really over built rugged boot.
I first saw I was kind of afraid. They were gonna be really heavy but I was surprised. I picked him up. I noticed they felt lighter than the other instinct accelerator boots which is really nice. Obviously, you can see today we're hunting in a really muddy field. You start out with a heavier boot by the time. You walk through this stuff, you're gonna pretty much be dragging your feet across the ground aggressive tread for climbing up. Deer stands walking through creeks. Anything that aggressive tread is nice to grab instead of sliding around a lot of stuff. It's really mucky. We could do a lot of walks in hunting and you need a nice rugged comfortable boot to do this work perfectly. I'm looking outside my window right here from my heated garage. You know three to four feet of snow out there still in march. And today they're calling for it to be 55 degrees. And thunderstorms so nice mix they're. You know a lot of rain on top of the snow make. Everything really kind of crappy but so. Ifigured today would be a great day to talk about rain boots. What I have here from bogs Footwear is the Bozeman tall rain boot. It looks you know it looks familiar there are a lot of companies out here to make boots like. This but there are a couple of new features on. Isaw at Outdoor Retailer. That kind of led me to want to test. One of these boots and for starters it's a fourteen. And a half inch tall boot. It does have you know a neoprene upper. And a molded rubber lower here. And the molded lower rubber is really. What sets it apart from. Some other boots out there. It is the competitors. Or earlier iterations of. This boot that it's a seamless construction so. These different panels like around the heel. And the reinforcement. You see around the toe here. Although you see kind of rate of raised area here it's not a panel that's stuck on top of. Another portion of the boot. One molded lower so you're not gonna have.
Any delamination none of these panels are gonna come apart you're not gonna have. Any leaks along here so that's really what's that's the lower part of the boot apart from. Some competitors out there the upper is a seven millimeter neoprene upper it's nice and flexible. It does have these two crab handles right here which at first a little skeptical of. Ifigured you know meet Reef. And on those a probably town, but they're they're well reinforced. And neoprene I've been a diver for you know thirty years. And neoprene is no it's not indestructible but. It is very stretchy. You can really refund. These pretty nicely, so they're easy to get on. And off with these handles getting back to the seamless construction of lower by doing it. This way it makes. It about thirty percent lighter.
Than conventional boots. That have different layers attached to. It the rebound sole. That Boggs uses is it's its comfortable that's its got a lot of give in. You can spend all day in. These boots without a problem it's not it's not your. You know typical work boot. That kind of lacks in a comfort department. They really we really did their research. They came in with the rebound Souls inside the you'll find Boggs dual density Eva a foot bed. That has durafresh bio technology which offers odor resistance which is a nice thing I mean. Idon't really know. What else to say about. That stinky feet boots don't stink it's a good thing and for those of. That work in industrial environments you'll be happy to know. That the non-marking self-cleaning bio grip chemical. And slip resistant outsole. You can wear it works in the lining uses max wick which is uh just a moisture control lining so you're not sweating.
I've been outside first of these things are rated to minus 72 degrees Fahrenheit which I'd only. You should be outside. If it's minus 72 and I'm not a hard percent sure. These are just so quick to just pull on. Ihave a Siberian Husky. Igotta take that thing out to pee. You know in the middle of a blizzard. Because that's they want to go out so. These are quick and easy to slide on. And slosh around outside so today since it's going to be kind of crappy warmer. And rainy and I'll probably create a bunch of slush I'm just gonna probably head out. And do kind of video demonstration wearing these boots in their improper environment
