Hub video series in this episode, we’re gonna, show you what it takes to pack properly when preparing for overnight hike joining us for today’s demonstration is backcountry snowboarder and adventurer nut Steve Weiss. The first thing you will want to do before packing is gather up all the items you will need for your specific hike. The items you will need vary depending on what type of climate you will be hiking in and for how long? Also, a very important rule to remember is to only pack twenty to thirty percent of your total body weight, any more weight than that could lead to unnecessary injury and is a poor use of your energy.
Now, let’s watch Steve as he demonstrates how to pack for a multi-day hike step number one put your sleeping bag in the sleeping bag compartment located at the bottom of the pack. If you do not have this feature place it in the main compartment of your pack. Now, let’s focus on your main compartment place, the clothing you will be needing for your overnight hike here, such as a sweater, jacket, shirts, pants socks and underwear pack.
All of the food you will be taking make sure to pack food ideal for hiking, avoid taking canned food, as it adds significant weight to your pack. Now it’s time to load up your cooking gear. These are your heaviest items. These should be placed in the center of your pack close to your back to help with balance and weight distribution. Any other items that have significant weight to them should go here as well.
The last item you want to place in your main compartment is your camping pillow. This will allow something soft for your head to land on, while you hike once you are finished, with the main compartment, simply cinch it up with your available compression straps. Now, it’s time to pack the outside of your pack use the outside compartments to place any items you will need for immediate access, while hiking item such as snacks, toilet paper and water purification tablets, are good suggestions, place items you will be using all the time in your waist pocket, such as your camera, GPS unit, compass, pocketknife and small flashlight, the top or head compartment of your pack should be used for all of your emergency gear.
These items should include a compact size, first-aid kit, paracord headlamp, and matches now attach your remaining gear in your side, pockets and outside straps. These items include your water bottle, bigger, knives, hatchet and large flashlight make sure all of these items are secured through using available compression straps. This way, you do not lose any of your items during your hike.
The last thing you will want to do is attach your tent on the bottom of your pack with available straps. Once this is complete, you can then attach an optional compression pad or cushion for sleeping on the top part of your pack. You want to do this, since it’s lighter in weight now you’re ready to go for more camping and hiking tips, visit, Teton sports com and click on the adventure hub, tab, Teton sports.

The 2200 pack from Badlands is a true classic in the lineup, and while it’s been around for over 20 years, it does go through changes from time to time. One of the main changes on the latest version is the new magnesium alloy frame state system. It’s going to be lighter and stronger than the previous aircraft aluminum system, also with badlands packs. You know we pay close attention to suspensions and fit. The back. Suspension is going to be a molded memory.
Foam that’s going to contour to your body over time, both on the back and the waist belt. You’ll also see the load lifter straps, which we have with all packs that are meant for carrying large amounts of weight. That’s gonna lift the weight up off of your shoulders down through the frame and onto your hips, where it should be. The 2200 pack has evolved into a bigger size, it’s actually closer to 3 000 cubic inches today. As far as Pocket layout, you’re gonna have one big main compartment up top and then some smaller organizational pockets, one here and then down onto your hip belt pocket, which is a nice big pocket which are easily accessible to pan a waist belt pocket between that waist belt pocket and the waist belt itself.
You’re gonna have our built in sidearm, holsters and you’ll have one on either side. Whichever is preferable. The unique design of the 2200 is the batwing design. What that’s gonna do is give you these compression straps across the back, which are going to be great for hauling gear and also assist you in carrying a rifle or bow strap to the back here. Pack. Inside of that, batwing on one side are removable spotting scope, pocket. That is a new feature on the 2200 that can now be clipped down and zipped into its own pocket or removed entirely.
On the other side, you have a pocket on the bottom and a strap up top, which is great for attaching a tripod trekking poles, something like that and again latching it all back up, getting it nice and tight and keeping that center of gravity close to your back. Another unique feature of the 2200 is its hideaway meat shelf. It has its own pocket in the bottom of the pack. You simply deploy that meat shelf click it into its own buckles up here at the top wrap the bat wings around it, and you can haul that game bag full of meat off the mountain and be comfortable.
You also have our rear entry suspension where you can get in through the back of your pack access some of those con where you don’t have to go through the top quick, easy access they’re. The latest version of the 2200 is by no connect system compatible. What that system does is allow you to ditch your by no harness and connect your by no case directly to the pack itself. Constructionwise, the badlands 2200 features our new kxo 50 fabric, it’s like kxo 32 and that it’s quiet, but it’s a lot, lighter weight.
We were able to save pounds on the 2200 pack. We also, as with all our Badlands packs, use our hypalon material, the black material. You see here at all stress points which is super strong, and then we triple stitch every point with that aramid thread, one strand of that can hold up to a hundred pounds. That is a quick overview of the 2200 pack, a true staple in the Badlands lineup, and as always, everything with that Red Bull skull is going to be covered by our unconditional lifetime.
Warranty.
Hello thanks for joining us today, we’re going to do a review of the Badlands 2 200 pack, so I originally purchases pack for general use for archery and for Arroyo filling, but also for hiking for general day use of a back injury. So having a pack, that’s framed will sit on the hips and take the weight off. My back is absolutely essential. It has all the options for carrying sticks or spotting scope being hydration compatible, and the organization on this bag is absolutely phenomenal.
I was looking around a few different manufacturers. Tenzing was one of them Badlands mystery ranch. They all have that kind of really well built the look to them on the images on the internet and reviews as well. Of course, they reviewed there wasn’t any reviews on this specific pack in this cover, so I wasn’t really sure on the tone of the color, but as I’ll show you in a bit very happy very happy so for different uses. Let’s talk about archery. If you’re doing the 3d shoot it’s it’s you don’t to be overpaid, you don’t have too much on you.
Don’t have a big weight hanging off your back and that’s why I like this pouch, because, as you can see here, when it’s completely emptying you zip it all up, it’s got a very flat profile, so you can still have your your arrow tube up there with it. That’s 31 inch errors in that one, that’s traditional, so you can have that you can. You can put your quiver in there if you wanted to, it doesn’t sit uncomfortably. There are actually doesn’t it’s. It’s very clear accountably with enough room set up properly to have your by no pack on you as well.
Kasab tried some packs in the past, where they’re very close to the neck, and if you’ve got a bio harness on it will chafe that does not. So what I’m going to do now is focus in on some individual parts of the bag and just take you through right. So let’s go through some of the features on the 2200. So first you can see it’s a quite good sized pack, 2 200 2 200 cubic inches from. We would know that as a 48 litre pack in the UK, and so let’s have a quick look at the back.
The straps are really really well padded nice and wide me. I’ve got quite a wide neck and some packs do rub. This doesn’t really comfortable. It’s got that air breathing pad on here. The shapes on the back of this apparently designed to create air flow, and it does have an overheat at all. So it’s really comfortable hip, padding, really nice be quick, pelvic quest sitting in there, it’s just so so comfortable and it’s the more you wear it. The more sort of molds itself to use like one of those bicycle seats that really nice positive, lock on these a little bit and it’s not gonna, go anywhere cinch down nothing’s going to move.
One feature that I do like on this pack is: we’ve some packs your hip pockets being attached to your hip belt. When you pull this in tight, flattens ease down and if you’ve got bulky items in here, it’s hard to get them in there and struggle get them with this. You can release that it doesn’t affect how it’s sitting on your hips, but maybe got large items in the back pocket or this pocket here you can still get to them and for anyone watching in the US and you’ve got works for your licensing and stuff, but you’ve got the option if you’re, a lefty or you’re right-handed you’ve got your pistol hairy in there.
So you’ve got real nice accessible pockets a little bit of moly on the outside of the pocket. Nice feature on these, as well as the zips. When you put them away, they’ve got their own little protective guard, so nothing you’re, gonna brush on not going to lose anything you’ve got probably two hip pockets. You got to give me pocket, or even so, let’s turn it around really nice feature on. This is rear access. So if you’re got something in your lower lower bag that you want to get to that, you’ve put f it on top and like a puffy, for instance, and you’ve got a big cargo and put your path on you.
Ain’t got emptying your whole pack out. You can just take. Take it off your shoulders spin you around, and so all, if you know we’re easy, you can just get to it. You just reach behind yourself under they get into your pack, I mean something like I carry in here. Just in case you get a little bit. Cold got scarf and you’ve got some more packs and more packing space in here, because it’s perforated and that’s the air go in and out and cools you down as well, really really nice, nice and comfort, and it’s it’s so well built.
That’s your hydration I’ll show you that in a moment, so your hydration black bag in here come through down either side in here, yeah really nice little bit of space here. If you’ve got a radio or anything like that and what’s nice about this is what having both sides, if you’re an archer and you don’t want it- to interfere, interfere with your right hand or left hand wave away. Your shoe you just put your hydration bladder tube down. You’ve got an adjustable or removable handle up here.
You can click in here or here. These are useful and I’ll show you that in a little bit the length of these pullings really good, you can get to them really nicely and I say if you’re a smaller person. My wife’s tried this on. It’s not a perfect fit, but give me an idea of the sort of adjustability and a lot of packs is well the way you overdo it on here on the on the hip. It comes you don’t need any more than that. It’s absolutely perfect, so you’ve got quite a bit of adjustability in there.
Well, so, as we come around the back you’ve seen it, it’s free tie, downs and no matter how big this bag gets. The tie, downs reach and these are also used for me, carrying I’ll, show you there at the moment as well. The ring its reinforcement, I mean up I’ve, had this loaded up and and pulled nice and tight, no pull on stitching. It’s really really good. Alright. So as we open up, you see that wing design on this, so you got a nice pocket here to put stuff in all got sticks.
All tripod. I can go in in icing and you can tighten that down. There is something on here which I’m not sure about which is these two sliders, it’s probably to tie a little bit of extra webbing down or something on there, but there’s nothing on the website or any reviews about them. You’ve got a really nice soft finish spot and scope. That is very well padded on the bottom. So even if you’ve got to put your scoping in a hurry, you haven’t put your bottom lens under six, it’s not going to damage him! That’s expandable! That’s got quite a bit of elastic to that nice.
If that one doesn’t have the tire, but where it’s in there, it’s not going to get caught by anything anyway, and then you can just cinch that you’ve got under the this. One does have the little protector and there’s a real nice feel so you’ve got your gloves on you’re, not gonna struggle to get there. There’s no rubberized got some webbing side. There just got me stuff falling out, so this is the only issue that I’ve had so far with the bag. Is the hydration bladder, mostly the UK source? A hydration bladder is like the two three litres, they’re two three liters down, so a – Melea will come down to play here, but be about that wide.
It’s been very, very hard to find a hydration bladder to fit that pack, so I have to do at the moment. He’s just carry one liter and just fold the top over. Just so I can have it the right way. But apart from that, it’s not I mean you’ve got this. It’s lined. You’ve got your bladder hot hangers and there’s a double poke through here, poke through here and then you’ve got what was really nice. It’s like a kind of a chimney style, so no wall can just go down into your bag.
It comes up under here these big enough to put even the the, although LOC, hydration bladders in so really really well-designed. Okay, the aluminium stays in there when they go down. It’s it’s really gonna be hard to show you but they’re, not straight what most packs just got this straight aluminum bar it on me, put them on your marks when putting the back on this. No against the wall, but they’re shaped I mean our backs, are not flat and Badlands have really got that down.
It’s. You can’t feel it when it’s on one, that’s on you here, you got it in the weight spread its cushion, so it’s not I mean some pecs I do dig into you to the crusty here, but this doesn’t and it’s just exceptionally comfortable- and that was my main thing about when I was looking for the pack, the back injury some years ago and was looking for a pack that would help me keep my posture up while carrying here. Does it to a tee, it really does and it the more I’m wearing it, the more its molding to me.
So what I’m doing I show you this part here and it’s advertised as bow and rifle compatible, so you’ve got to zips. Underneath you pull this one out and you’ve got two buckles: you can adjust for the height and you have your rifle, but about pouch this is not I would say, bow compatible yeah. You can kind of put the tip I’ve been rubbing the seeds, the shape of this yeah, so you can kind of just get the tip of it in there, but yeah they do a version that kind of sits and holds the bottom of the limb.
It’s like a cool shape, while this doesn’t come with it, but the rifle does. If you want to put your sticks in there as well, that’s another way of doing it. What would have been nice just a little thought after thought forum, maybe have a sort of open side with a class that could open to get round maybe other night and it’s not the same material as the bag, but we’ve been quite nice, doesn’t seem to be much difference in the thickness of the material to be honest between the two, so yep, so we’ll put that away and then I’ll show you now and that you’ve been removed as well.
I know some manufacturers have a little slit that you can then put them through, and then this one isn’t it has to stay open. So it might be a problem in absolute, your inch or whether, but then you can always put a larger brain cover over the top, which this doesn’t come with a no. Some of their packs do come with a rain cover this one doesn’t another nice little feature is what they call a big shelf. So if you’re harvesting meat game you take this out, you’ve got two little clips in the top.
I think has them if you’re looking for you know a pack that isn’t light, and it is lighter than the competitor some of the competitors as intending and stuff like that, which I tried didn’t find very comfortable with my back at all, adjustability comfort price point, absolutely fantastic. So if there’s any of you that know what that those two clips are.
– TZ 2220: what’s this pack used for? Well, it’s a really good all day day pack. Could you use it for an overnighter? Yes, you could the number one choice and what this package designed for is a typical day hunt where you leave in the morning. You come back late at the day and all the high stress series we use the dynamic material and in Dyneema is light enough to float on water and yet 15 times stronger than steel on our materials.
For the for the treat goes, we use a single air Treecko and we put a waterproof backing on it on our packs, we’ll use direct Lex buckles. We feel that it’s very critical that the buckles hold up and they’re strong there there are lighter weight buckles out there lighter, doesn’t always mean better. What we have to know that we can count on is a buckle. We can’t have a buckle figure so alder, a flex, buckles nylon, webbing, nice, ev8, molded, shoulder straps a nice airflow system back here in the back one aluminum stay that is polluted, so it’s nice and rigid, and then it’s got additional pockets right here on the outside, so you can carry a spotting scope or a tripod and then these pockets stretch in so you can use these pockets to the main compartment from both sides.
It’s got compression straps on the bottom, so you could add that to it and then down here on the front, we have the hipping pockets and they move away so that you can get them when they’re full of stuff. You can still access them, then after you do, you can pull them back in tight, all the main pockets on all the tinzing pacsun tooth and a yellow pull. In this case you can see this is a face pocket.
It has a brown pull. This is going to take me to my organizer pockets, so I know the difference in the face pocket versus the main pocket. So on our zippers. What we did was we turn the teeth all to the inside they’re, very smooth, very easy to get in and out of there dirt stays out there very water resistant and they do a much better job being reversed at easy 20 to 20, as well as the 5000-6000.
Several the packs of the line come set up so that you can carry some kind of reservoir in the and you carry their two liter or three liter water with you down here we have a bow and rifle pocket, and so you can undo that zipper and pull a pocket out here and if you’re, using your bow, your cam is going to sit right down here. It adjusts up and down vertically, so you can adjust it to the height of the bow, depending on the length of your bow and then what you would do.
Is you simply take this strap loose here same with this and over here it’s going to come around the pack, that’s going to hook around the bow or the rifle, and it’s going to pull it back in tight. Also on this pack, we have another pocket on the inside when you unzip it and reach up in there. You can pull out a full raincoat cover up the pack if you’re going to build a big potential downpour and keep this pack nice and dry, and so the water never gets to the inside of the pack TZ 2220, it’s a super lightweight day pack, it’s probably the number one choice across the nation.
You.
It looks like tensing’s done it again: they’ve picked our brains for over a time day, pack and now it’s time to reveal this beast of a bag. In this episode mark terry and I will sit down and explore all the ins and outs of the ultimate dream day pack for hunters. Here we go and three two one hit it. This episode of dod tv is brought to you by the new specially designed lightweight and durable tenzing. Hang time day, pack go further hunt longer tensing all right.
So we’ve done a couple gear reviews on the dod tv set. This will be the second one for the hang time. We already did the hang time lumbar and we wanted to get into what will be my hunting back. No doubt for this fall, I love a backpack hunting pack in general, there’s all kinds of new features and molding to it, and it’s a much sturdier pack in general, so let’s kind of jump into it and get you guys thought on the hang time for this dod tv gear review.
This thing is a cadillac right here I mean they put everything in there that we asked for and probably a little bit more well and I’m a backpack guy. You know I literally live with that on my back for four months and we use it every single day, so for them to incorporate all those little idiosyncrasies into that pack, I thought were extremely important. It’s one that when you utilize it, it just makes you a little bit better hunter because it cuts down on the time cuts down on the noise and maybe even because it’s so compact cuts down on the size that you are when you’re up in a tree.
You don’t look like a grape on a toothpick because of the way it’s designed and the fact that it comes in that mossy oak pattern. I love that most notable is probably the thing that they did with both of these packs, which is an eva mold on the internal frame of the pack to where it will not collapse. You can stand it up. You can have it against the tree. It’s going to be where you can open this and get to it, get to everything inside and it never collapses.
How many packs have we used through the year that would be laying on its face right now. I really love the eva mold inside that pack. Well, it’s one that I think is going to be very, very durable, no matter what you’re doing you talked about the western style of hunting. This is one I think that’s going to be durable enough. They can take out west and use it for many many years. You know, and they kind of made this thing much like the lumbar they made it dummy proof.
They give you a little label on every little pocket and port and tell you what it was made for and intended for, and it’s pretty neat. Actually, if you go through it, it’s got the top access cell phone pocket, which is more than handy channeled, air, cooled back pad and shoulder straps, which are nice. It’s got a specialty optics and rangefinder zippered pockets, which I love that, because those are some of the first things you grab once you get in a tree, it’s got external molle attachment points and webbing straps for any extra gear that you might decide to drag along.
It’s got two quiver attachment points for right or left-handed use, which I think is very very nice. It’s got a flat bottom base included in that base is the plano utility box. You know if you got flash cards or you may have some really really small items that you want to slip in there. It works really well for that. It’s got the large, eva, molded main compartment with the top and front load access. I think, is crucial to this pack. It’s got the fold down face compartment with five organization pockets, which is really really nice.
It’s also got a specially designed strap to hold our bow hangers, which I think is cool, because you want to get to those right away when you climb up in a tree, a fold out bow and gun carrying boot, which I think is really handy. It’s also got a three game call slip pocket. You know in that part that folds down, then, on the back side, we’ve got an easy access, sd card pocket on each of the shoulder straps, which is nice, because that’s some of the first things you’re walking to and from you’re big about changing cards as you’re going in and out of your stand, rather than making an extra special trip, it’s got port for a hydration bladder, it’s not included, but you can easily slip one in there.
The premium air mesh suspension system gives you improved, breathability and really overall comfort. It’s got chest and hip compression straps for a custom, fit which I always like it to where it’s a little bit more. You know more secure. It’s got accessory, straps to secure items like jackets or bibs. It’s also got two rigid multi-purpose side compartments which are important. Two hip compartments with interior slip pockets. These are the ones that come around your uh kind of around your waist.
It’s got an ultra soft and quiet fabric also featured in this bottom land pattern by mossy oak, and it’s got the premium oversized zippers, which is always handy late season when you’ve got gloves on it, lays down flat for ground blind hunting, which I think is is really really nice, because we start to hunt those more and more and it’s an improved access and packability for any ground blind use. You know there’s a lot of gadgets and gizmos on this deal, but really there’s not anything missing either.
You know, I think it covers you, no matter what your needs are. I could foresee you putting your rattling antlers. You know those few weeks of the year that you really rely on having those with you that you can never find a place to put rattling antlers, not one where it’ll stay, so it’s nice to have a spot to be able to be able to attach them to. We rely so heavily on our packs. It’s pretty much the fabric and dna of a hunter. You put all your stuff, your tags, your lights, your you know, knives everything you can think of.
So uh this is gonna help us stay organized going into the season. All right, that’s gonna! Do it for another gear review here on the dod tv set. We did the hang time lumbar. Now, we’ve done the hang time. Backpack these things are slick, can’t wait to get out. This fall we’re adding new videos every week, so make sure to click that subscribe button and check out all of our amazing content. This episode of dod tv is brought to you by the new tensing voyager daypack, go further hunt longer tensing.
Hey everyone, Nicole read from driven TV tinzing 20 to 20. This pack has been, of course, wanna Pat nice favorites for a couple years now, especially for whitetail hunting, but I really love the new improved design. Bigger pockets only means for a lot more stuff. I can carry you the tree, especially as the weather gets colder. You want extra clothes, especially extra jackets. Things like that to be able to layer up and the big pockets allow for that.
I mean look how big this pocket zips into and it really expands rain gear heavier coats. Whatever you need, you can dump it all right in there and then, of course, these zippers all the pockets. Look, how big that front pocket opens up, which is awesome, because this is the pocket I utilize most when we’re up in the tree. Stand and I put things in here to be able to get out easily I’ve got my grunt tube here. You know, and a bunch of other stuff, of course, there’s more pockets in here snacks, those right, but these new pockets are utilized so well for me now, because I can throw more things in there.
I have my release rangefinders whatever you need. That’s easily accessible right here in the front pocket. Then, of course, the side. Pockets are awesome too, because you can store little cams, big cans. You can store your drinks whatever it is that you need on these side. Pockets are really awesome too. I love the fact that it’s got this ergonomic design in the back and then the straps are awesome, no matter if you’re, a larger frame person or a smaller frame, it adjusts to your size, so definitely give the tenting 2220 a shot.
I’m telling you, you will be well organized going to the stand and you’re going to have plenty of room for all of your essentials.
The TC SP 14, it’s the shooters pack and we started with this pack. It was. It was interesting how this evolved. We were talking and we were talking about how important it is for those folks that love the crossbow hunt, there’s not really a way that you know they can carry across part of the tree stem. So we developed this pack to carry a crossbow and it was you know: Ralph Ralph had a vision for this pack and he said Jay I know you can help me design it.
Here’s here’s my thoughts and- and you know, I’m I’m good at putting pieces together, but Ralph had the right idea on this thing and as we put together and started carrying a crossbow through the center of this pack, because it’s gonna buckle right into the middle of this pack. You can open this up, and these two Center pockets are going to move away, and so you can put the crossbow in here.
It’s got straps to hold it in. It’s got a boat boot! That’s going to come out the bottom. The crossbow is going to sit right here. It’s a great way to carry the crossbow to the tree. Once we got done with it, we started playing with it and realized how well it worked as a shooters pack, meaning you could put a gun in this pack and when you took it off, you could just immediately shoot and shoot out of the pack, basically a rest, a built-in rest for your gun.
So you don’t have to take your gun out to shoot so anyway, this is the TC SP 14. It’s got all the same great features. It’s got a pull-out rain cover. It’s got the comfort stretch waist belt, it’s a great pack and for either carrying your gun or carrying your crossbow. There’s nothing like it. The TC SP 14 changing the way you carry your crossbow or your rifle.

It features, 11 compartments, eight pockets and way too many features for cousin Jimmy D.

And he decided to go to bed so as not to disturb him, because I’m all hyped up on Realtree coffee, I decided to come down to the kammo room and play a little bit now. I’m really excited because turkey season is on the way. Okay, we’re all ready for turkey season. I know for me, especially into one of my favorite things to hunt I. Think it’s just that. Calling in that drives me wild I, just I, don’t know, I, think everybody can agree why they love it. So I thought I’d come down here and get my new turkey hunting pack from tinzing and, like all these cool features, so I thought I just pack.
It full of my calls and things like that that I need I’ve got my hen all tucked, all nice and cozy in there. This is a really really convenient vest. Now this vest is the boss hogg of all turkey vests. This is the teepee 14 and I’m telling you this thing is legit, it’s funny. When it first came a husband just kind of assumed it was his and claimed it as his own, but we both got a chance to field-test this thing and come turkey season. I think we’re gonna be fighting over it.
I can guarantee you that my favorite feature of this pack is the spring-loaded legs. It they’re just so comfortable. You sit down in any position the legs pop out, the back of the vest, and you just feel like you’re up against a tree. They’re spring-loaded, it’s just an awesome vest. It has all the bells and whistles it has even like every pocket you can imagine for whatever call you have make sure you get a Tenzing outdoors and check out their packs. I guarantee you’re gonna love them as much as we do and they might even bring you some good luck.
This season I’ll see you in the turkey woods.
The TC 1500- this is part of the Ralph M Viki series, and this is Vicky’s favorite pack, so where this originated from was the 20 to 20. This is the number one selling fact in the Tenzing line. The 20 to 20 has been, from the start, the very best seller. She thought it would be better if we improved it and made a bit. Smaller has all the same features as the 20 to 20. It’ll carry a bow. It’s got a pocket, that’s going to come out of the bottom of it, so you can put a bow in there.
It’ll carry a rifle in that same pocket. There’s a strap coming across the front here where you can bring that in tight to the back. It’s got a full raincoat, so you can open up the top and pull the raincoat out completely cover the pack. It’s approximately 1500 cubic inches about three and a half pounds. It’s just a great little pack, I find myself even using this pack in places where the 22 20 is a little bit bigger. This is new for 2014, the TC 1500.
