CamelBak® Max Gear Bottle Pouch
10.5"H x 4"W x 4.5"D.
Colors: Black, Coyote.
Hey YouTube friends survival craft here in. This video I want to give a basic overview of the Camelbak water bottle pouch. Ipurchased recently. Ibought this for $20 from a local sporting goods store which means it's a little bit cheaper. Then a lot of the other offerings out there for instance from 511. And others what you're getting is you're just getting a basic water bottle pouch. This is built more in a Expedition style. Where it's its very basic. You don't get a lot of extras. You don't get a lot of attachment points. You it's a minimalistic design so. What you have up front is. You have six moly attachable points. And then on the back. You have a built-in strap system. That buttons down with. Another six moly attachable points aside from being very simple. This pouch also appears to be very rugged the straps here up front. And on the back are nice and thick much thicker. Than a lot of other bags. And pouches and they've. All been double stitched. This is made from 502 near Cordura fabric which means. It is 40 to 50 percent lighter. Then the thousand denier but it's only about thirty percent less durable so. You know that you're still getting a fairly durable package.
And it's going to be lighter. Than comparable 1000 denier pouches. This pouch not only has a zipper closure. It also has a drawstring closure which means. You can fit larger bottles in. This pouch it will retain. It so to give you an example. This is the water bottle. Icarry with most of the time. When I'm out in the wilderness. This is a 44 ounce large mouth metal container. Even with the para cord around. It will fit in this pouch. It fits snugly but I can put. This in here I can actually close the lid with. Although it is a bit tight but. Idon't want to close the lid. Ican just pull the drawstrings. And that'll keep the bottle from falling out. And the padding around the sides will keep the water bottle nice and cool aside from the two different detainment techniques the drawstring and the zipper. It also has a nice function of having a very large drainage hole in the bottom so. If your water bottle ever did happen to leak it'll drain out the bottom.
And allow this pouch to dry quickly. This will hold camel backs small. And large bottles but it'll also hold a number of other bottles as you've already seen. It holds my large 44 ounce bottle. And it'll hold large Nalgene bottles. And other bottles of the sort so. You can rest assured. You purchase you should be able to get. Whatever bottle you have into. This pouch and it'll keep. It nice safe and cold so do. Irecommend this pouch. Most definitely this is a thick heavy pouch. That really keeps your water cold the padding on the inside is nice and thick. Ihave no problem carrying a container full of ice water for a full day. And have it cold at the end of the height. Ialso like the fact. That number it comes with the secondary retention strap so. Idrop my water bottle in here.
And don't zip it up its number. One going to keep the bottle in there but also since. Ican cinch and keep. It tight it's going to remain relatively cool as well. Ilike the fact it has built-in straps. And they're nice thick heavy straps are not. Something I worry about ripping or breaking falling off. It looks good it feels good. And it's a great durable pouch from Camelbak so as always thank. You guys for watching and stay.

This keep the center of gravity lower which creates. More comfort it also allows for more usable space in the rest of the pack. That hydration reservoir isn't awkwardly filling the pack vertically. Ireally like camelbacks hydration reservoirs. They seem to be the easiest to draw water from the bite valves in. All of the parts function really well. And are easy to use. When you're on the go with. This system you also get a little tube trap on the shoulder strap to keep things in place. You can lock out the bite valve at the end to prevent leaks there are quite a. Smaller things like maps notes first-aid kits. And such behind that front slash pocket is a big dump pocket which is great for throwing in an extra layer. That be a rain shell. Or an insulated jacket there are upper. And lower compression straps on to secure those smaller loads. Or to cinch down gear. You start to drain the hydration reservoir there are loops for trekking poles. Even use the compression straps to help keep those lashed to the pack securely. This pack is technical. Ascend® Drift 33L Hydration Backpack
All right today we have a drift hydration pack it's a nice little hydration back pack comes with piece of little waist straps. One unique thing one comes with. That a lot of the cheaper ones don't. Or not cheaper but less expensive is the actual hydration hose clip comes in really handy especially. If you're on the move running hiking biking it's a lot easier to use. It is to wrap it through the straps here well unwrap. It through the straps. You need the water comes with a nice little rubber plastic handle hoses go right up through here at the back of the straps are really soft come with reflective stripes on them so. You can easily be seen the bag itself has reflective stripes built into. All over the place some elastic bands comes with side pockets put. Some of your things. Even comes with an ear loop. Or a headphone pull extra little pocket over here for your cell phone iPod wallet couldn't see. That extra storage space inside. Where the reservoir sits reservoir has its own pocket got. Another pocket here. You can put stuff one thing there is as. Ibelieve two hooks instead of the standard. One loop you can see. That so there's that but the bladder.
That comes with it takes the two hooks instead of the. One loop it's a two liter bladder comes with. It seems to be a pretty nice standard bladder wide mouth has a nice easy carry handle easy fill handle decent sized hose it's a screw on not clip so. Ihave to keep that in mind. When filling cleaning such. It does come with a bite valve cover. Though so that's handy. It doesn't come with. It doesn't come sealed the bite valve so make sure. You clean it really well pull on pull off overall looks like a really decent setup. Ihaven't had a chance to use. Yet just got it out of the package. Ilook forward to trying it out. This weekend actually. Anything comes up I will update my review. You know what's going on.

Geigerrig Rig 500 Hydration Pack
You want to learn about the. Most advanced hydration system on the market. How about a backpack that's self pressurized well today we've got Mike representing geigerrig to tell. You about these hydration backpacks thanks Clint okay. Everybody has probably been familiar with Camel back Gregory there's a bunch of companies. That kind of came into. That market right after Camel back kind of started the hydration backpack market. What geigerrig has done is taken. One step further what they've done is they've come out with a system. That is pressurized. And I'm the pack aware right. Now I've already pumped. It up but you can see. You don't do this here. This is pressurized. It will pretty much empty about half the bladder before. It needs another pump up. It takes about 20 pumps on a larger bladder to make the make. It pressurizes and make. It comes out nice and strong then get. This off and kind of show. What the bladder looks like on the inside. This happens to be the largest of the packs there're multiple sizes. And I'll kind of go over those in a little bit but the 1600 is the largest of the packs so. It holds the larger water engine which is 100 ounces. It also can carry quite a bit of stuff. You can have feathers on the outside. You can tether down excess gear a large compartment on the inside. And in the back as you can see. Where the hydration engine is to get. You just simply deflate. Once it's deflated this little puppy here holds. It up inside the flap the pack it's. All quick-release so.
This is your air piece pull. It put down here at the bottom is the water. Because the bladder is too part so that's your engine. That is 100 ounces and the back part here is the air chamber front part is the water chamber real easy to get in. And out of can turn. It completely inside out for washing antimicrobial so. You won't get any of the nastiness. That builds up in just clean. Once in a while make sure. You keep now there's like. Isaid offer it in two different sizes so 100 ounce. And 70 ounce the smaller packs use the 70 ounce bladder the larger packs use the hundred ounce that's. It the largest pack here the 710 is the midsize pack. One is going to be good for a single day trip mountain biking greats great for. It for the mountain biking and. It will hold you know jacket multiple power bars.
Anything you really need for like a single day trip the Guardian is. One of the newer ones. And what's cool about. This is its big it's really. More of a race day only pack really only holds water but the idea behind the Guardian is. It has a large plastic piece here. And a large plastic piece here with compression straps so. This gives you the highest psi. We can get out of one of these bags. And so for somebody that's racing in a really high endurance race. Where they're huffed and puff. And a lot of being able to just spray the water in your mouth instead of having to suck on. It sounds little but it's huge. You don't have to take. And put your mouth on. That thing and not be able to take a breath. You can hold while you're breathing and then as well. If it's a hot day out. It over your head up on your neck it's really nice to be able to actually have the water spray out instead of just kind of going to have to suck.
It out contamination issues are non-existent. Because water never goes back up in there sometimes your saliva can contaminate the inside the mouthpiece on a water pump on a water bladder with. Because its constant pressure pushing out. You don't have that as well. If you're in situation. Where your friend wants. Some water from you want to get. Me to get some water to your trail dog. You can blow it rights out of. This thing and they don't have to touch. It with their mouths the other advantage to having to want a water sprayer is. You had full breath your knee rec your elbow. You can use this thing to dress the wound. All the walk you know spray. It out with the pressurized bladder so. That really makes it a nice feature a couple other items. One of the biggest ones. That's because this is a pressurized system. What this does is this actually goes in line right here.
Because between your. You plug this in here. And then you plug in your other piece too here. And then that is that's a fawn charcoal filter so. What you can do with. If let's say you're out on a multi-day trip. Or you're out of water you're in the mountains up in Mammoth. Or Sierra somewhere. And there're all kinds of streams running Bible. You really can't drink out of those streams without. Some type of water filter. What this does again. Because it's water per I'm sorry pressurized. You can use a water filter on. You could take that thing dip. It rights into an ice-cold stream pressure. It back in pressurize. And bam you're ready to go. You can drink water right out of the stream with. This thing so that's. What really cool feature it's exclusive to geigerrig pretty excited about. That's because that's. That opens up the door for a lot of different things. That do with the pack.
Where other packs you can't do. That a couple other things. You are in a really cold climate. They have the housing and insulated tube. If anybody's snow boards. Or snowmobiles where it's really cold you've known. You try to use an exposed tube like. It will actually freeze up so. This will keep that from happening and then. Another little cool feature about. This takes the whole mouthpiece in. What you can do here is. You take one of those shake up hand warmers. You stick that inside. It there closes and then your tube comes down. You will never ever freeze up. Even in below zero temperatures. This was designed in Utah. They need a lot so this is a really useful tool. You are in zero degree weather or really cold weather packs range in price from about 119 for the entry level up to about 175 for the larger models.
And there are more packs available. You can see the complete line on JC Motors calm. And thank for your time thanks Mike as always. We welcome your questions. You can call us at 877 six. Or go to JC Motors comm get live support. You will find out why JC Motors is. Where writers get deals.
