Up for a hike today again thank God it's Wing Mykelti Red Wing 32. And it's a beautiful pack its lightweight lots of pockets for your bottle. It has a two side pockets only thing I don't like is. It doesn't have any pockets on the waist belt but. It makes up for other by giving you. These straps to hang things on to strap extra gear to the side as pockets behind the pocket. You can slip an axe. Or saw through there. And slips right in there. They handle top little storage area here for quick to get to things. It also has the front storage over here with an organizer inside. You can put your telephone your ear essentials in here. Ihave a collapsible low water bottle wipes different things in there it's a very nice pack carries well. These sight pockets here are great for sticking in long things like my saw my bahco laplander saw. And behind they just put. Something even longer has an airflow back to. It with plenty of padding you can strap other things here has a bladder compatible bring the tube out through here. Idon't need it I'm not a big ladder person has a clamshell kind of way of opening this thing you can bring you completely around it'll stop here with. These straps you don't want. It to go completely down.

You just attach these straps to. And it'll just stop about here. You want to go completely down just English. And voila it opens up. You can store lots of things in their pocket water bladder. And like it opens up completely like a clamshell beautiful color olive-drab. Something like that it's a it's a beautiful Peck. I have my thrusts river pack. Itried on yesterday. And it's great but it's kind of heavy. Something inside which. They make a basket for it but. This one's a lot easier to carry. You can go for a day hike couple day hike with. This carry a minimal shelter. Something in their great Peck beautiful day.

Iwant to focus on a. Few details and hopefully. This will be a pretty quick. And dirty review I purchased. This backpack just under a month ago so. Idon't have a huge amount of experience with. Ipurchased it initially. And used it right away for a week trip to Hawaii with my family. Iwanted something. That could basically be a carry-on suitcase bag. It does fit carry-on parameters. One pretty full as well as. Igot there a day hike bag. That wasn't too oversized. Or under sized as well as a diaper bag. Or just handling baby stuff which I've got going on in my life were. You know I may not need to pack a bunch of stuff for a six-hour day hike but. We might be just going to the beach. And there's big beach blankets. And so forth that take up a lot of space.

That would be too bulky for a regular day pack. Something is more of a backpack style think so. That was my reason for purchasing it. This video could be useful to. Anyone who wants to use. It for hiking or travel again. Because it's a sort of nice backpack but carry-on size for pretty much. Any airline I think would let. You on the plane with. You the basic overview again I'm going to start with I'm gonna focus pretty much on details I'm not gonna do. Everything that every other reviewers done but just. Some standout things. Ithink are relevant to a purchasing decision on. This pack because it's been very well reviewed sort of as a legacy of. All the great reviews of the Redoing 50 which. Idon't own, so I'm just coming to. It could my review is kind of next. You my feedback by the way.

This is orange tape here. And here as well as. This nite ize red plastic SP nor our add-ons. Everything else here is stopped so let. Me start with the straps. Most people most reviewers finished with the straps but let. Me start with the straps in general good lumbar support big padded hip strap with a good sized waist belt that's easy to adjust little manali type attachments on the waist on the padded portion of the waist strap so shoulder straps are nicely padded with load lifters which actually did work in my experience with. What little Hawaii load. Ihad for my trip chest strap is included pretty normal with the adjustments up. And down on the chest zipping right along pat pockets there are sorts of the visually defining feature. This pack is that there's. These vertical pockets on the left. And right both sides nice and spacious there's a pass-through pocket. That goes all the way through which. Ididn't really have much use for and put.

Some water bottle pocket the standard mesh pretty deep here from small to large there's a. What I guess people call an admin pocket with. All the various slots for pens. And notebooks in your iPhone here no little mini zip pocket but pretty packed admin pocket with a little key loop in the lid actually let. Me in the main compartment has. This top loader feature. You keep the compression straps. That sort of stops the top load. And just lets you stuff from above. You quickly undo quickly is the key feature here. You quickly undo it unzips pretty completely I'd say 80% of the way down to be a panel loader finally last but not least there's a little tiny pocket in the lid for sunglasses. Or your wallet keys. Or whatnot that's what I use.

It for and that's pretty much. It for basic specs and that's. What you'll see in other reviews let. Me point out a few specific features. That may or may not also be in other reviews there's a pretty heavy-duty handle here on the front for lifting this. More like a suitcase horizontally. Than typical backpack loop on top. Although as you saw with the orange tape there is a small issue loop on top as well so that's an interesting add-on. Idid use it's an iceberg I'll leave. Imentioned this briefly earlier but. Ididn't use this trip. Iappreciate it there being little sort of straps here for potentially adding pouches. Or just putting a flashlight with a little pocket clip. Something for hiking outdoors use also on the bottom of the pack. Each other and ears have mentioned there is also webbing two rows of webbing for a bedroll with lashing straps.

You really wanted to expand. This to make this up two. Or three day backpacking bags so those are nice the last little detail thing I'll mention. Idid find useful is on the backpack strap there's. This little elastic tensioner. Where no matter what your level of tightening of the main tie there's always a little tension because of. This elastic that actually very useful for keeping this functional as a chest strap as. Iwas walking along with a full load as well as the hip strap as well. One thing I will go over. Ithink is particularly relevant to folks shopping for this bag is water bottles for the side pockets. These side pockets scream out to be used with sort of your classic water bottle.

You can always put the things in the mesh pockets but a lot of people complain oh. If I'm packing along. II don't know this could fall out along the trail. Iwouldn't know till. Igot to my camp I had fallen out so people liked the idea of having the bottle storage on the side. It just seems common sense. You look at the design of the bag. However in their infinite wisdom healthy knowing. That there's pretty much. One universal size of Nalgene bottle made. It a little small sea. It is a little snug. It does fit that last little bend. And the zipper was a little tight. Iwill tell this backpack is empty. You have a full pack. Everything has bulged out. This is extremely hard to close. And actually risks damaging the zipper so. Iwanted to just mention a. Few things first they as well. Ihave a clean canteen here. That really doesn't fit. It sticks all the way out the top so. What I discovered well first of. All there's these little 16-ounce. No jeans and outfit no problem those are great.

You don't need a huge water supply but a solution. That worked you keep the 30 ounce sorry 32 ounce full liter capacity of the. Now gene of this guy but fitting in here with a little less hassle. Now gene makes these old school canteens shaped flat water bottles. And I'll tell you again. These fit easier as I'm demonstrating it. Because the pole pack isn't bulging at the seams but. This fits with a lot of room. And despair not a lot but. More room to spare less stress on the zipper. When you're loading up so. This isn't it's still sort of knock against the backpack. That the standard bottle doesn't fit easily.

This is just Universal among. Everybody but I know but there is a workaround. You still want a full liter water same capacity to fit in. These side pockets these pockets are also good for putting a little over shirt. You want to walk with layers. And not open your main pack over. And over again throughout the hike. Someone who's walking with. You unzip and take. It out for you or a hat without having to take off the pack. And break all down anyway water bottle holders for the side given. Ifound a workable 1 litre bottle. These pockets you got is. One of these one of these. You may be in trouble. You may have to use the mesh.

And the risk of falling out so. This pack is just straight from Hawaii. Ididn't wash anything my first general observation from the experience. You can see this with your own eyes here. Although the black is a little hard to see in the video is. It stays pretty clean the fabric is pretty good at standard distances a. Few marks but it down on the bottom not too bad unknown long-term durability again I've had. This just over one month. And really just took. One real trip to Hawaii not. That country hiking or. Anything but it worked good prose the main capacity main pocket capacity is very good it's shaped in a way. It bubbles out all the maximum cubic inches inside. You can use the water bladder holder. You want to I didn't use. That but it's its well-designed. And a compress straps at least the way they're designed to pull out.

And back to the four corners are good at holding the contents of the main pocket in as intended. Another Pro is that the fit. And weight distribution with the small amount of framing here with the aluminum rod. And the pack design. And the straps and the load lifters. All the strapping for me anyway was great for fit. And weight distribution. Ihad a pretty late load of mostly clothing I wasn't carrying and that'll cook kit for a backpack trip. Anything but I think for loads of. You know thirty pounds. Even forty pounds it's its a comfortable pack. Another pro the final. That I'll list is the looks. Or subjective in all consumer products but. Ilike minimal badging and labeling and reflective strips. And contrasting zipper pulls. And stuff this amount of badging just so. Icould see it on earth from a distance. And know it was my bag but really. Ilike the minimum minimalist look. You can decide in and other videos. You like the look there are. Some other colors but.

This sort of two-tone fabric. One is sort of smooth nylon. One is a little bit of a texture to. It is nice gives it a little bit of distinctive look but is minimalist which. Ilike let me talk about the things. And I'm rushing through here but let. Iwant to keep this quick let. Me talk about the things. Ididn't like about. This bag first and foremost the buckles. All the buckles seemed incredibly cheap in terms of the quality of the plastic. And the design these are guaranteed to break so the material of the buckles. Ireally don't like. And also the size these are the compression straps. It hard to even thread the tab into the slide. Many times it was just so small. Ifelt like I was threading a needle the chest strap which.

Iused every time it on it's a little bigger. Then the compression straps but. Ifound myself you know trying 10 10 times sometimes to get. It aligned and then. Ifelt like again it was so cheap. Ithought and didn't. And pushed I could very easily snap off. One of these guys the waist strap which is substantially bigger still feels for what it is super cheap. You just the hardware is like the material the fabric it's the fundamental of the bag it's got to work. Idid not have nothing broke on. This trip but is the first trip. Idid not have confidence in the quality of the buckles especially the compression straps which are tiny. And the chest rack which is still pretty small the other thing I did not like on the subject of small. And weak is the zippers. And the zipper poles are about as small as. You can get on a full-size pack again.

They work they didn't break this trip but. They did not inspire confidence a pull cord seems like a big cut corners. You know it's not so much an issue for. That in the pocket but. You fill out this big 44 litre main compartments let. You're really yanking on these zippers. You come around the corner in. This sort of s-curve to get the lid shut. It did not inspire confidence. It again made me feel like. This is gonna break sooner. Then later it's fine in Hawaii but. Iwouldn't want this to break. Either the zippers of the clasps in a back country hiking situation the last sort of con. That I'll talk about they're really left out at. Iwas using this bag for my first trip is. That the pocket capacity in the pocket design didn't seem great.

Icommented that the main compartment is great. Istand by it opens almost completely. It the sort of bubble shape of the pack. That sort of rounds. All serves to give the maximum capacity to the main compartment. This guy I feel like. Iput a shirt anything I mean there is like half an inch at the top of depth in. This bag and really not. That much at the bottom. Either there may be two inches. Ireally couldn't get. That much in here I couldn't access. Anything on the admin panels the other thing I'll say is. Itry to flip this open as. You would do in an admin panel situation trying to give it. Something this thing shut every time. Icould like jam and open but eventually. It going going it would just shut on. It was like someone was putting a prank on. Something every time. Itry to open this thing and again. Iwanted to fall back. It what's in here it was doubly hard. This goes for the top lid compartment to the pockets not.

That small but the opening is inexplicably small. They could have just made the zipper curved around just a little. You could get in there but again the pocket is maybe an inch deep at the front. And tapers to nothing at the back so you're just really excite. When your wallet or sunglasses not getting a lot of. Anything in there it seems like it's just a little. More thought of the design. These various issues. These various issues could have been addressed. One small break that won't really say it's a complaint but small bright. Idon't know if it'll come during the video is on the back you've got. All the padding for your back you've got the padding on the chest strap.

You got the padding on the waist belt the padding this won't come through in the video but the padding that's on the back surface is a nice sort of closed cell foam feeling like. You would expect in. This kind of padding however in the belt the waist strap. And the shoulder strap listen your. That crunchy it's like. They crumpled up a bunch of saran wrap. Something I mean there is foam in there but it's like it's somehow it's not just. This kind of traditional nice soft plush. Yet firm padding they just use. Something different in Enix Lucas inexplicably thinner. And a little noisier. Idon't know it didn't it's not a deal-breaker for me but. Ithought I'd point. Ihaven't seen it in other videos. Idon't know why there're two kinds of foam. If there's just some other shape holding material in their anyway not a pro definitely at least a grape so. Some pros and cons. And a grape again sorry. Iput the clothes up here by the way the s beaner from night eyes. This is the number for size fits perfectly in the two lower loops here.

You want to have something to easily attach a couple doodads to just a little backpack hack. Icame up with after purchasing the bag okay bottom line Kelty Red Wing 44 it's a good basic design. Isee why people like. Ilike the idea of outer pockets. And the mesh pocket. And multiple pockets in the main body of the bag the carry system is relatively sophisticated for a moderately priced bag. All the adjustments in the strap. And load carrying system are pretty good I'll give Kelty credit for. Ihave to say the zippers the material the clasps my gosh the clips are just. Idon't want to say unacceptable but just inexplicably low quality. And not confidence-inspiring for a bag of. This cost I got a deal on Amazon. Iwas sort of watching prices go up. And down as they do on. Any Amazon from about a hundred.

And twenty-two ninety-nine to. Whatever this bag on a day. It was actually about $80. Few cents and that's pretty reasonable. And I'll have to say for $80. This is a fairly priced bag. It does have quite a bit of capacity. It does have the weight bearing carry system for if. You are gonna go backpacking with. This for 80 bucks it's a reasonable value. Ican recommend I don't have a comparison with. Another bag of similar costs but. Ithink for 80 bucks its fair for a hundred. And twenty whatever else it's been going for even a hundred. Even ninety I don't know. Ijust think the materials are too weak to take. And carry out on a plane to go on vacation with your family in Hawaii maybe it's not a big deal cuz. If a clip breaks oh well. You just go down the road to get a repair. You went back home on the airline with a broken buckle but.

One of the very essential zippers. Or clasp break in a backpacking situation for which. This bag was designed that's no good. You can't do your compression straps. Or get your chest strap on. When you're carrying your load to pack out of the mountains. If a zipper breaks you can't. Even keep a flap closed. Ijust think that's unacceptable. Iwould not recommend. This really at any price certainly not over $100 to. Someone just going to use. This for backpacking use. It in the city use it for air travel use. It with my little water bottle hack for not breaking the zip. Or getting your bottle in. And out of the side pocket. You know as this sort of backpack diaper bag for a vacation. That worked for me I don't think I'm going to use.

This for its secondary intended use of hiking and backpacking and camping which. Ihope to use it for but it's just not up to snuff that's. This review has been helpful again sorry I'm sort of zoomed in here. This is kind of how my setup was but. Iput the black bag. Everything I wanted to be able to gather enough detail to show. What I was talking about with. All the various pros. And cons I've talked about what's important to. And relevant based on my use of the bag for a month tell. What you think in the comments. You disagree or agree. You have a different Kelty bag of different attributes. Or weaknesses another brand. You think I should try. Idon't want this for backpacking would love to hear comments.

And get the dialogue going if. You liked the video. You like my other videos like comment. Or subscribe love feedback. And we'll see if the next video.

Nothing wrong with the frame sheet. That is I'm just saying but that's why I'm at with. It great pack get one.

It starts here runs. All the way around the pack. And over to the other side. You have these compression straps on top. You can actually open. It up just as a top lid. And almost use it as a top loader so. You don't have to open. All up to get to the items the top of your pack but as. Iremove some of the items here. You can see how much space. You really have to get in there. You open these compression straps. You can open this pack almost like a piece of luggage so. You can really fold. That down you can see. All the access you've got here. It has a zipper on either side. Even open the pack just on the side. And grab some things on the side. Or the bottom of the pack so really convenient zipper there. Iremove some of the things in there I've. Even got a sleeping bag tucked away in there. Some other items you can see. That big pocket on the front you've got an organizational pocket.

Isee the pack shining for kind of the day to day use I've got a little notebook my phone in there. Some pens and actually. Ihave a tablet it fits really nicely into. That sleeve as well so. You have access to put the tablet different places. And then just got an extra layer tucked down in there so it's a pretty deep pocket. You do have stretchy water bottle access there on. Either side and then. These side pockets are really nice. These bellows pocket. When you're not using them. They actually tuck away really nicely but. You do have access into the back so. You could store something longer like. You have tent poles. You can store them back there.

If you've got trekking poles. You have that pass-through to the stretchy pocket down there. And then again all kinds of compression straps on. You can make it a much smaller pack. You need to on the outside here. You have a tuck away carry handle. You can use to pick up the pack it's a nice durable handle. When the packs on the ground. Or laying on the floor it's really easy to pick. It up by you have daisy chain attachments there as well. And those tuck away really nicely so. If you're just using this day-to-day those don't get in the way moving down. You do have some tool loops here. You can use them as ice axe loops. Or trekking pole loops. You have these compression straps up here. They work really nicely. And attaching gear to the front of the pack. It around check out the back panel. And the shoulder straps. Ireally like the design here with. All the mesh this is called hex mesh.

And it's really wide open mesh. That allows a lot of breath ability turn the pack to the side. You can see how much padding there is on those key areas of your back so as you're wearing it. That padding is really going to keep the back panel up away from your back a little bit. And with these channels it's going to breathe well down here on the bottom. You can see a really nice lumbar pad that's going to really transfer the load of the pack to your hips. You have that same mesh in through the hip belt a pretty substantial hip belt for this size pack. You can really cinch. That down to carry the load on your hips. Now again you can remove. If you're just using this as an everyday pack. You don't need this big of a hip belt but. This works really well nice contours in the shoulder straps. And really good padding there so.

Ican see that lasting a long time. Now as far as stability. You have an HDPE frame sheet there keeps the weight down but. It has nice rigidity in the back panel. And then this is a slightly larger pack there's a single aluminum stay there behind the scenes just to give it. More rigidity to transfer. That load down to your hips. This pack does just come in. One size but you can adjust. These shoulder straps with the load lifter straps up here so. You can adjust you can adjust. It up depending on your torso length. This is considered a man's pack it's got a woman's version that's a little bit shorter in the torso but. Ican see this pack working well for a lot of different people overall with. All the features you get here.

This is a great pack for traveling again store. It in Handover then a pack. You can use for lightweight backpacking if you're just going out for the weekend. Or doing an overnight just a multi-use pack that's really durable. And it's going to last a long time it's the Kelty Red Wing 44 you.

This zipper is you can open. It just on the top so basically having top access into. This large compartment but. You open these two compression straps. You can actually have panel access into. This pack of well so. You have to do open. All the way kind of fold down. That top part and then. You have access to all your gear on the inside. This is a pretty small day pack it's got lots of room here so. Ican put all kinds of gear. One thing I want to point out is. You have a padded sleeve in there. That can double as a tablet pocket. Or put your laptop in there. You can put your hydration reservoir in there. That can be routed out through the pack so multifunctional access there. And then moving down the pack you've got plenty of other features. Iwant to point out. This area right on the front. You could store an extra layer in there. You have these compression straps closed. It really holds any sort of gear. That you've got in there so maybe a rain jacket.

Something like that. You want to grab for quickly. Now on the sides I've got a little travel pillow popped away in there just to show. That got either side. And there's actually a pass-through behind there, so I've got a pair of trekking poles stashed back there. All the way down to the bottom of the pack. And up through here so. You can grab those if you're just traveling and. You need to tuck them away for a. While that's a great spot for those obviously you've got stretchy mesh pockets here for water bottles. And then on the front. Ireally like this organization. That up there's plenty of little areas in there to store gear got a phone. Some pens all kinds of gear there.

This is actually pretty deep, so I've got. Something stored in the bottom there too. Now on the front of the pack. You have a grab handle here. And then two little daisy chain attachment points down there they're tucked away so. If you're just going downtown with. This hat doesn't look too much like a trail pack it's got really sleek features there but. You need to pick it up buy. That carry handle you need to attach gear on to the front. You can certainly do. That down here on the bottom. You have two loops you could put trekking poles on there. And attach them up here on the top. You could use them as ice axe loops. You want to and then attach them there so lots of features. All over this pack for such a small pack. It really has got a lot of going for it. Iwant to turn the pack around. And talk about the back panel. It carries the load as far as support. This gets its rigidity from a lightweight HDPE frame sheet that's behind the scenes there so.

You don't have a lot of rigidity there but. It gives you just enough for the size of the pack as. You can see I can bend. That a little bit the pack is going to move with. You hike you move it to the side. You can see all the breath ability. And lots of padding and. Ireally like that feature. It gives you patting against your back there but then. You have those channels. That warm air can escape so. If you're moving fast. If you're on the trail. If you're walking down town you're not going to get sweaty behind. That pack now behind. These shoulder straps here. You have that hex mesh. All throughout that just aids in the breath ability a nice contoured shoulder straps here. And again for such a small pack you've got. Some really substantial shoulder straps. And a pretty substantial hip belt down on the bottom so nice lumbar pad there. And then the hip belt also has air mesh so. If you've got that around your hips. If you've got that kind of batten down it's definitely going to breathe with.

And it's lightweight enough. You can actually tuck away the hip belt into a little area right there so again. If you're headed to the coffee shop. You don't want to have. That hip belt out you can just tuck. And that's a really nice little feature as well. This does just come in. One torso size but you can adjust. It here you've got load lifter straps. You can adjust or down depending on your torso length. And then you do have a sternum strap. That goes across so you've got a lot of trails specific features here so. You can take this out on a day hike bring all the gear. You need for that hike but. Because it's got so much organization. And those little pockets. You can store gear you can really travel with. This take it downtown. It every day it's the Kelty Red Wing 32 liter pack you.

You can put a jacket hold on okay so hold on a second there. It is headphones bag with. All of my cords and mounting brackets mounting straps for my GoPros. Another bag for your memory cards GoPro batteries you're talking adapters. When you're over in Europe for your electronics underwear sorts to shirts I've got the GoPro. This mounting thing I mean in my laptop is my laptop right. Now with them it's still plenty of room plenty of room for toothbrushes glasses. And contacts it's about. Imean that's what you need. Ineed your camera gear. And just in case they lose your luggage. You two of your best shirts pair of shorts two socks its awesome very very compact. It's preferred day hike lovely out. This stuff back in and I'll show. Something checks this out there's really cool things.

All right you can grab. It up here right here. That but check this out there's like a hidden right here look at boom a hidden little grab handle. It so that's it mans very cool guilty Redoing 32 a buttered on Amazon for $75 free shipping I think tax is like 5 bucks 80 bucks that's frickin outstanding oh look at. These right here you could put like hiking poles. Ithink that's what they're for hiking poles go in there. And then up through here alright that's. This is waiting this is a longer. Iwanted it to be yes.

That mid way down to hold the hydration hose. And it's got a chest clip. That slides up and down for adjust ability the plastic on these is kind of cheap not the greatest but. It does have these little elastic bands. That hold all the straps strap keepers built into. It those are built in. You can't lose them is really nice it's got a hard back there's a piece of plastic running down the back. And it's very breathable it's got. That 3d mesh it also has a stow able waistband. This will not carry. Any weight on you can't actually put. Any weight on your waist with. This but it is designed nicely to. You pull out and away from yourself to tighten. It but again it's pretty cheap plastic hardware on. This so here are the measurements. These measurements are in centimeters always metric never Imperial on my channel so. You could wear this with the waistband. Or the belt right at your waist at about 20 inches. Iwould say if that's your torso length.

It expands on the inner compartment to about 16 centimeters somewhere around there the stitching for the shoulder straps for the hardest system it's pretty good. Idon't think that's going to come apart on. Me but I'll do an update in about a year after I've used. It for a while so the front of the pack here is the top pouch it's got a little key fob thing on. And it's a decent size. Ikeep tissue and stuff like. And there are things. Imight need to grab as. Igo on the front it's got. These little straps. You can tie things onto the pack but then. They hide away under. Some fabric which is really nice. It keeps it to have a nice clean look here are the measurements for how big.

Each of those little straps are the biggest. One can be used as a grab handle the two side pouches are not. That big but big enough to hold my hazard four mil pods. And also my trauma kit on the other side so. You can fit a decent sized amount of stuff in there. You might need to grab on the go about five centimeters is the max for how deep. You can stuff it fulls of stuff. And then the front admin pouch has a little bit of organization to. It's got one big back pocket. And then a couple of smaller pouches on. That panel I can fit pretty much. Everything I need in there. Ican fit my van quest EDC em organizer in there really easily that's the Husky here're the measurements on. All those pockets for what you can. And can't fit inside there the two smaller ones are about 10 centimeters maybe 12 centimeters long the side pouches are vintage mesh. They have elastic bands. You can fit a 40-ounce Klean Kanteen so that's not like.

You could use this for overnight backpacking trips. You did a minimalist type of packing anyway the strap to the top the compression straps have clips but the ones at the bottom of the pack do not have clips so. You can only unclip the top straps under those side pouches there's a channel. You could fit a stool like. This is my ultralight camping stool. You can also fit a hatchet. Or an axe handle down through there but. What it's really designed for is. These clipped out of the way cuz. Idon't use them this around as an EDC pack but. You can put your trekking poles. And have them held in place under those pockets. And then those little loops at the bottom keep the poles out of the way it's got a stash pouch but behind the admin pouch between.

And the largest pouch. You can put like a jacket. Something in there it's got a little drain at the bottom so. You put your jacket in their wet the water will drain out it's pretty nice and then the main pouch has. These two larger zippers I'm not real impressed with the zippers on. This overall you keep. It strapped it can open up as the top but. You undo those straps then. It can open up almost. All the way down you can really get in there. And grab everything so. Ican fit my electronics module my clothing module by decon bio hazard module by bartering and emergency shelter module. And my water module. All in there as well as in. This back pouch you could put a laptop. Ikeep my anchor solar charger in there as well as a three liter Camel back.

Some emergency documents. It does have clips on. Both sides to hold the bladder in place. You do want to carry a bladder. This is a really nice pack for the price. You know you're not going to get the best Hardware on. You don't but for the price it's kind of hard to beat so. Iwould recommend if you're looking for a pack. And possible overnight packet also I'm very happy with. It as an EDC pack so far I've been using it for a. While please subscribe to see. More videos give some thumbs up giving some comments in the comment section let. What you think and share. This video you get the chance please thanks for watching take.

This cinch strap to keep. It in their Rose it's gonna fall out. This is the lid pocket got a single zip. And it's large enough. You can keep a pistol in there's no organization on the inside of. Though just it's all just open so in the main compartment. You keep the cinch straps closed. It will just be a top loader for you. These animals a zip off almost to the bottom. You can load either way. This is a PC sleeve. This is the only organization that's inside here there's no other pockets in here it's got hook. And loop field here so. You can get some other pouches. And things like and kind of organize. It yourself one thing to note on. That there's no aluminum stay frame like on the 44. And 50 liters this is just has a flexible hard plastic frame sheet in their hits somewhat flexible whispery well. It has a hydration tube port here on the inside it's got a carry handle. That folds down in between your shoulder straps. Now shoulder straps are nice and thick.

They work real well they're adjustable from the top let's go sternum strap it's adjustable it's got. Some elastic there so that's cool. This waist belt this is probably the. Most garbage thing about. This thing's a decent pack other. This waist belt it's not really a waist belt its kind of belly belt the pack being so short. It comes above my belly button so it's very flimsy so good padding though lots of air flow in here.

You know folks there. You go driving it beer the Bushman I'm just going to give. You a quick rundown on my pack out from my new 511 rush twelve day pack alright first compartment here up front your admin colonel opens out. This is just to show. How much I can actually just pack in here that's just to fill up. Some space here you've got a couple of pockets handy for utilities bushman's torch headlamp. You can fit that blender straight across the bottom here. I usually like to keep my laplander at the front in a pocket down the bottom. You know the good feature is. It has a these hooks on the side which I'm used to having you my other backpacks to hang my keys off. Another pocket here which keeps quite a. Few bulky things in. It so that's the front pocket. Now the main reason for this video it's not a product review but. What it is its just showing you.

How I've packed my cat Kitty out into my bag just I've just got. This bag today so this is kind of my first pack out with the items. Iusually take on a day hike. You know in this pocket here perfect size for my snake bite kit it's at the front it's out on the outside of the pack which is good. It fits perfectly snug awesome. All right the other awesome thing. Iworked out today is on the side here. And the small a system I've got. This power cord handle. That I've made a couple of weeks ago from picking up my bottle. And just walking off with. I found the thickness of. That tucks nicely into the male system. Iwalked I walked down here about 10 minute walk to. This won't it doesn't swing loose.

It can't come out unless it's pulled up. You could have a something on there. And lock it on there so. It doesn't come off. You unclip that that was a pretty handy little feature. All right the next is the main pocket. And I'll show you just. How much Q is in key. Iwill show you as well. This is packed like. This without this bag in there that's just a I'll show. This actually weighs in at 21 kilos. That 21 kilos in this pack. That is quite heavy for a day pack but. This is just to show. That a 24 litre pack can carry quite a lot of gear. Imean not used to carrying 20 kilos but I've packed. It out spit specifically just to show.

What it's capable of. Now I'm used to having a 20 liter pack the extra four liters in. This really allows some versatility alright so there. You can see opens like a clam which is awesome. And look at the way. This stuff's packed in here. You can play bag Tetras with. This so basically we've got. One two three pouches which could actually. Ihad my clips I could clip them on the outside of the system. Now I've got up a small hanker power cord here clipped on the lower. This section on this section here. Idid have this a couple of carbines just on here so. You can have that on there in an emergency situation you've got access straight away to your med kit, so I've got a med kit gas canister small pouch just got my gloves in. It I've got a cooler bag here which has got.

One liter of water in. It I've got my survival kit. And I've got my EDC so there's. All the kits and then you've got. This pocket at the back which. Ikeep boy and the boys put in their go fear with God. You see a couple of drain holes in. That bottom here which is pretty awesome up here there's a pocket its fleece lined that's for your sunglasses. Or your glasses case. Whatever so that's in their in. These pockets here this profit here actually fits. You know you're cooking windshield. These aluminum windshields. It fits in this pocket here perfect exactly the same fit give it takes probably two inches so that'll be the slop in there.

You can also fit quite a. Few other things in their in here I've just got my brew kit. And my canister stand so that's those two pockets. Now around the back of the pack words we've got. This will hold a bladder. Idid find I don't have my bladder in here but. Idid spit my bladder in here before. Ididn't put this pocket. Ihave a two liter bladder. It can be held up by. These two little toggles. And your hose can come up through here. And up into and then. They will eventually lead to a port on. Either side of the bag at the top right so the only thing with the bladder. This pocket here seems to be a really tight fit right, so I've got a two-liter bladder I've probably only fetal liter in there I'm not sure of the specs on.

What it's rated for but. Ididn't put my I didn't put. Any water in my bladder. And fitted either I'll do. That later but I'm knocking around. Ijust wanted to get. This pack loaded up. And take it for a hike. It fits actually why I'm speaking about the back section here it's. Another drain hole down here. You can see but I did find. When I'm wearing it. This section here they dug into my soft parts just above my hips that's the only that's the only down size downside besides the pocket for the bladder. I found the only negative things is the bladder pocket size. And those two little bits. That dig into me so as. These pouches here the demo light system can actually go on the outside of the pack.

And sit here like that could be on the front here so then I've got. You did have those patches on the outside. You can see there's still a good 10 liters of room there that's pretty impressive for such a small pack. You know and there's various other pouches like. I could have this small pouch out here. Or somewhere up on the side here don't really need too bit but that's the 5-11 rush 12:12 means 12-hour pack. Or half day pack the next size up is a 24 which is a full-day pack which. You could probably do an overnight er in as well. Imight mention that down the bottom here you've got. This bowl a tabs down the bottom. You could put your sleeping bag. Or sleeping mat and stuff like. That so yeah first impressions of. This bag I'm pretty impressed with. It just with the various ways. Ican set this out. This is the only bag I've actually owned with a male system, so I'm new to. That I've I've had my other bags for you know 20 years. I just needed to step up.

Ineeded that extra room in my kit alright thanks for watching a check them out 511 rush. They come in a they come in a 24. And a 72 I forgot to mention the 72 is a three-day pack just zoom in the viewer mind. You the multicam will be a little bit. More expensive my morale patches 511 Vikings and Australian flag alright check them out cheese guys.
