Scott MTB RC Lady Cycling Shoe - Women's
Whether your ride of the day includes epic high desert singletrack, grunting up a steep, barrier-laden run-up, or heading out for a jaunt on your favorite local trail, the Scott Women's MTB RC Lady Shoes are up to the challenge. No frills, no pink (ok, just a little pink), just trail-rocking style with a heap of technology to support your feet while they drive your ride.
Scott utilizes a strategic mix of lightweight microfiber and 3D nylon mesh to construct the MTB RC's upper, and it incorporates Wrap Fit technology in the construction for a snug fit. Wrap Fit is essentially an internal layer of synthetic leather that provides extra support while conforming to your foot shape to reduce pressure points and increase comfort. A BOA IP1 strap closure system spans the top of the shoe, and two hook-and-loop straps across the midfoot make for a secure fit and easy adjustments on the fly. Inside, Scott's Adjustable ErgoLogic removable insole boasts a customizable arch for additional tweaks to the fit.
Underfoot, Scott incorporates a light and stiff HMX carbon fiber sole for efficient power transfer. A lugged, X Traction outsole sits over the carbon to protect it from rocks and provide excellent grip when you're off the bike and climbing over obstacles. The shoes are finished with threading for two toe spikes for additional traction on muddy trails or steep inclines.Apply now
Giro Empire E70 Knit Cycling Shoe - Women's
Engineers at Giro weren't about to let the runners blast past cyclists when it comes to knitted technology. Instead, they took the best parts, and weaved in some elevated cycling-specific tech to develop the first knitted shoes for exceptional performance on the road with the Giro Empire E70 Knit Shoe for Women. These knit kicks use Giro's newly developed Xnetic Knit technology, which is burlier and more abrasion resistant that most knit running shoes, and DWR treated to fight off the elements while you ride. To create some rigidity to the shoe, Giro's designers created a skeletal system that supports you where you need it, but allowing the knit to provide its supple stretch and next-level breathability for sock-like comfort.
While the DWR treatment on the shoe does wonders to fight off the rain and make for easy cleaning, stepping in puddles can be inevitable at times, so Giro backs up the E70 Knit Shoe with TPU on the heel and toe, shielding from the wet, and protecting from debris on the road. The sole is made from Easton's EC70 carbon fiber, stiff enough for the most rigorous riding, with quick power transfer and minimal flex under pressure. The soles are set up for 3-bolt road cleats, and come with sturdy steel hardware for long-lasting use.
Sidi Trace Cycling Shoe - Women's
It's hard to beat hanging out at your local trail network and hammering out rolling miles of single track, but there's no doubt a challenge when you're doing it in unsupportive shoes that flex under your pedal stroke. Fortunately Sidi has that covered, with a huge array of ultra-stiff soled shoes designated for the dirt, and the Sidi Trace Cycling Shoe for Women is a pair that fits the bill. The Trace Cycling Shoes come equipped with the new MTB RS17 sole that increases stiffness without adding weight to the mix, so you can hammer out the climbs, and push to the podium on race day without flex and give that leaves you feeling squirly on the pedals.
The new MTB RS17 sole is lighter than previous SIDI MTB Soles, with a stiff nylon construction that features targeted polyurethane inserts to elevate stiffness. The sole shape is tapered specifically for mountain biking, with a little extra width in the forefoot, and assorted lugs for reliable grip when you're on foot. The toe area uses a replaceable tread, since it's the area most prone to wear and tear, and also features the ability to mount crampons, so you can elevate your grip when you hit the local cyclocross race and encounter more than just a smattering of mud.
Wrapping your foot up snugly on top is Sidi's Politex material —a burly fabric constructed by overlapping several layers of different materials, harnessing their strengths into one piece, and compacting PVC to the layers for a smooth, long lasting finish. Politex is film dyed, ensuring longer lasting color that won't fade after a summer in the sun, so your kicks stay as fresh as the day you bought them. Politex fabric is designed to resist laceration, ripping, stretching, and fading, and even hits the marks for European Green Standards, ensuring that the product is totally green, and less harmful to the environment where we spin our legs.
Topping it all off, your feet will stay secure thanks to the two hook-and-loop straps that secure your toe and arch, plus a reliable Tecno-3 buckle up top that cinches down millimeter by millimeter to dial in the perfect fit for you. The Tecno-3 system involves two ratcheting dials, Sidi's proprietary, non-stretch wire, and a customizable fit at the instep and forefoot. The heel locks your ankle into place, too, with its Tallone Sidi heel cup, that reinforces the area with protection from trail debris, and prevents deformation from extreme riding or prolonged pressure.
Giro Riela RII Cycling Shoe - Women's
Hit the trails for a day of rolling singletrack or push it even further to full-blown backcountry adventure in the Giro Riela RII Shoes for women. Built with tough uppers, rugged outsoles, and footbeds that keep you comfortable from first to last mile, the Riela RII's are hungry for the trail, and with Giro's sleek styling, you don't have to stress hitting the brewery for a post ride pale ale with the ladies.
The Riela RII uses the same over all construction as her predecessor, the Riela R, with three hook-and-loop straps securing your foot in, and microfiber uppers, but those of us who get a wicked case of hot-foot on most rides get a big win with the addition of large mesh panels along the toe box and lateral portions of the shoes. The microfiber still uses perforations, just as it used to, to help with venting, but the added mesh aids in moisture transfer, helping your feet stay cool and comfortable all day long. A comfortable EVA footbed gives you the support you need inside of the shoe to stay comfortable, and underneath, a nylon injected outsole stiffens things up, so you don't waste your energy on a shoe flexing under your pedal stroke, and instead transfer that power directly to the bike.
The outsole is also topped off with hearty portions of rubber lugs that add traction to the shoe, so when you have to make your way through river beds or up steep, rocky faces, you'll have the grip you need to do it safely. To cap it off, there is a large recessed cleat pad underneath your foot, so you have plenty of room to lock in any 2-bolt mountain cleat, so you can clip into your favorite pedals and ride off into the sunset.
Scott Road RC Lady Cycling Shoe - Women's
Expand your list of QOMs, throw down in the Saturday county line sprint, and confidently toe the start line in the Scott Women's Road RC Lady Shoes. While these shoes make some sacrifices in stiffness and closure technology compared to the top-end Men's Road RC, they also come in at a more budget friendly price point and offer a stiff sole and near-custom fit to keep your feet cool and comfortable.
Scott utilizes a strategic mix of lightweight microfiber and 3D nylon air mesh to build the Road RC's upper around its Wrap Fit construction. Wrap Fit consists of an internal layer of synthetic leather that provides extra support while conforming to your foot shape to reduce pressure points and increase comfort. In contrast to the men's Road RC's full BOA IP1 closure system, Scott outfits the Road RC Lady with a cross strap held in place by a BOA IP1 closure across the top of the shoe and two hook-and-loop straps to secure the midfoot and forefoot. As you'll find in all of Scott's top-line shoes, an Adjustable ErgoLogic removable insole provides a customizable arch for additional tweaks to the Road RC Lady's support and fit.
The Road RC Lady features an HMX carbon fiber sole similar to the men's version of the shoe, but it offers a stiffness level of nine in contrast to the level ten found on the men's side. While this sole is still lightweight and stiff enough to transfer power in a flash, if you're looking for top-of-the-line stiffness and the security of a full BOA closure it may be worthwhile to check out the sizing options available in the Men's Road RC Shoe.
Scott Road Comp BOA Lady Cycling Shoe - Women's
Making the jump to clipless pedals doesn't have to mean investing in pro-level kicks right off the bat. If you're ready to move past riding with sneaks and pedal baskets, look to the Scott Road Comp BOA Lady Shoe to give you a comfortable and accessible introduction to the improved power transfer and ride quality of riding clipped-in. With clean, breathable uppers and a Boa dial and strap closure, the Road Comp allows you to fine-tune tightness along the length of your foot, without having to put up with numbness in your toes for a slip-free fit along your instep. Though the fiberglass-reinforced nylon sole doesn't rank as high in stiffness as a top-tier outsole, it provides reliable power transfer for entry-level and intermediate recreational cyclists who aren't worried about the peloton just yet.
Giro Espada Boa Cycling Shoe - Women's
Feeling your shoe flex over your pedal when you're hammering out to the front of the pack on race day is less than ideal, but so is spending a fortune when you're a self-sponsored rider. Instead of diving in to budget shoes just to save a few bucks, find the perfect happy medium with the Giro Espada Boa Shoe for Women, designed with stiff carbon soles, and a price that isn't too hard to swallow. These shoes are designed for the avid cyclist and new cyclist alike, with a comfortable fit and snug uppers that can be cinched down right where you want them, and replaceable walking pads, so they can last for years.
Beginning construction, the Espada shoes start out with microfiber and mesh uppers that hold your foot in like a warm hug, but with ample venting, so that warm hug doesn't turn into hot-foot. The mesh is perfect for transferring moisture if your foot gets sweating, and perforations in the microfiber help heat escape from your feet constantly. The uppers are constructed with both a L6 boa, for micro adjustments, and a hook and loop strap in the forefoot for tightening things down with serious support, ensuring minimal foot slip when you're putting down maximum power.
Inside of the shoe you'll find a supple EVA insole, with molded arch and heel support that keep your foot in a comfortable position when you're laying down the power. To make sure you don't experience flex and twists when you're putting out maximum watts, the sole is constructed out of Easton's stiff and supportive EC70 carbon fiber composite, allowing for direct power transfer into your pedals with every stroke. The sole also features a replaceable walking pad, making them ideal for long term use, as they won't go out of commission after a year of hard wear and tear. The shoes are equipped with steel hardware for running three-bolt road cleats, for compatibility with most road cycling pedals.
Fi'zi:k R3B Donna Boa Cycling Shoe - Women's
Improving upon the already unbelievable R3 Donna Women’s Cycling Shoe isn’t an easy thing to do. Leave it to the folks at Fizik to make great even greater. At the heart of the new shoe is the unbeatable precision of the Boa dial-in closure system. This closure system makes dialing a perfect fit easy, even if you need to make micro-adjustments on the fly.
The R3’s closure system starts with a conventional hook-and-loop strap close to the toe for near-infinite forefoot width control. Moving up the front of the foot, the Boa Cable dial-in closure system snakes its way through four separate anchor points for complete control all the way up to the tongue. For an extreme control over volume, or simply to efficiently clean the inside of the shoe, Fizik designed the tongue pad to be fully-removable.
To further control slippage, the R3 Donna has shaped the heel cup at the aft position of the shoe. This feature keeps the foot in the perfect position on hard up-strokes and while climbing out of the saddle. As a result, you're powering the pedals comfortably and efficiently. This has been further heightened by a variable stiffness sole construction. The base layer is an ultra-stiff carbon fiber-reinforced plate.
Fizik went above and beyond to make the R3 extremely breathable. This might not be obvious, given the R3's lack of traditional mesh ventilation. However, the uppers of the shoe feature Fizik's own Microtex microfiber—the same material used on Fizik saddles and bar tape. This material keeps your feet breathing and comfortable on long summer days in the saddle. And for the insole, Fizik included its own Cycling Insole. And while its not custom moldable like with the R1, it does incorporate a thoughtful design that assures comfort by absorbing road vibration and supporting your arch system.
Giro Techne Cycling Shoe - Women's
Breathable, lightweight, and convenient, the Giro Women's Techne Shoe gets you out on the road and riding in comfort quicker than ever. The classic synthetic upper provides lasting durability through the seasons, while the three hook-and-loop straps give you versatile range of different fits that lock you in with snug security in a matter of seconds. Mesh panels strategically-placed on the upper keep cool air flowing through for warmer rides, while the universal cleat-compatibility on the outsole lets you ride road or mountain bikes.
Louis Garneau Urban Cycling Shoe - Women's
Sometimes you just want to take in the sights of a new city on a rental bike or take an idyllic spin through the park with the sun shining overhead and birds chirping in the distance. For these instances where go-fast efficiency is trumped by comfort and walkability, the Louis Garneau Women's Urban Mountain Bike Shoe certainly fits the bill with its casual disposition and flexible sole that allows you to walk off the bike.
Durable synthetic leather uppers withstand all the abuse you can dish out around town, plus there's breathable mesh inserts to keep your feet from overheating. And despite being similar to a standard sneaker, it does retain the 2-bolt compatibility you've come to love from mountain bike footwear, so you can use it with a number of popular mountain bike pedals, including Shimano SPD and Crank Brothers. And for those who prefer to wear flats, you'll enjoy the grippy rubber sole with longitudinal lugs to keep you glued to the pedals.
Sidi Dominator 7 SR Cycling Shoe - Women's
Even when you're on a trail where you know you can ride every element, you may have to get off your bike in less than ideal conditions. If a downed tree or an injured rider block your way, you'll be glad to have the confidence of stepping onto the Sidi Dominator 7 SR Mountain Bike Shoe. This shoe features rubber lugs to ensure you can find traction even in muddy conditions, and is even compatible with toe spikes (sold separately) if you need more. On the bike, the Dominator performs equally well with its reinforced nylon sole that efficiently transfers your power to your pedal. EVA padding surrounds your foot to alleviate pressure points, and a reinforced heel maintains your foot's alignment to ensure efficiency. The Soft Instep closure system features a dual-directional ratchet strap (that you can even adjust while riding) as well as two hook-and-loop straps so you can customize the fit to each part of your foot. This women's model features an enhanced taper, narrower heel cup, and lower volume instep to help you find a precise fit.
Ok ladies and gentlemen welcome to the show and you can see i got another product here for you to review so i have. Some cd shoes all right here these are. The cd nominator sevens so if you look. On the si website you have the nominator sevens and then you have another shoe. That's just like this but for the road. Side let me see here we're gonna bring. That up real quick look at it so you. Have the nominator sevens and then you. Have the genius 7 so nominator sevens. Genius ooh so both 7 have in the name. Both are constructed pretty much the same except for the soul is what's. Different in fact they both look the. Some they both feel the same the uppers both very both of them have extremely. Broken feel to them seedy used to make. These with leather but they've since. Gone to since gone to a synthetic a lot. Of the vegans out there that absolutely while these shoes because they're i don't say they're a budget. They're still very expensive shoe but. Compared to other seedy shoes that run. You upwards of $500 these are their more. Budget orientated shoes okay and these. Are what all the cyclotrons guys are. Wearing just because of how light. They are and how breathable are they are so I'm going to go over some of the features on these guys and talk about them so at first glance these are they. Almost look kind of like on i want to. Say a knockoff because cdr known for a couple different. Things they're known for the piece. On the heel that pinches in the heel they're known for their special boa. Dials and things like that but before they are doing that cd started off they were using crow, and they were using these normal ready to ratchet straps these ratchet. Closures okay and that's what they were. Using they just had a slightly different they had they started with the micro release it's not the kind where. You actually have to pull to release the micro leaves you just click on it once and it pushes up and then you pull this. Here hold a now the other nice thing. About it they have this in step because. Cd doesn't make super ridiculously. Expensive insoles they don't really. Feel the insults have to be crazy expensive, and they make because these. Are so plush what they do is they make it so that this piece here pulls and gives you pull up gives you more of an. Instep you're not really whole point of a cycling shoe is not to be running with them is to give stiffness here in the. Foot area for pedaling efficiency okay. So because these are a cyclotrons shoe there's their lightweight they don't. Put emphasis on replaceable lugs but. These lugs are extremely hard. In fact, they're they're like five times. Harder than your standard mountain bike logs, and they're closer to that of like. A soccer cleat and when you look at some. Of the prices of soccer cleats these are actually you know about the same so the. Nice thing is with your cd you're gonna get your this ratchet by the way. Everything is replaceable pretty much with these you can buy new of. This these straps this buckle here this. Whole buckle is replaceable you pop it. Out and then of course even the velcro i. Think you can come by and have it stitched back on so i think even the velcro but this this velcros this is what they call their high-security velcro so these red pieces here stick here and it prevents the velcro from wearing down if they use a slightly different type of velcro from lawdy or your other stuff cd by the. Way has pioneered and pioneering cycling. Shoes since the beginning their first company ever use velcro on us shoo so cycling shoes so pretty. Ingenious actually first once that buckles first once created bow a dial a dialing type cable system so, so they've. They've kind of been pioneering the thing the other thing is to that they have is they have this very stiff heel cup and so even though it's its not a. Bathtubs type skull you get this on even though it doesn't have a the adjustable. Clamp back here for the heel your. Heel fits as you can see this heel cups it's really extreme and your heel. Fits in the back here and really locks. Into place and then this type of system. Here really pulls in the foot to keep it. Back into your heel cup so your heel cup unlike a lot of other shoes is very stiff it's a big solid heavy police plastic that they put on their this hole. In so the whole shoe is made of this very soft material the entire in main. Part of the shoe even the insides everything let me open this up titanium. This metal here is titanium really high. Quality materials you got some padding here they put these. Little slits here so you can cut these as you want to they're all together when. You buy them and then it says in the when you have with the directions it. Says to find have this at the center. Point and they've cut these so that bends separately and conforms your to. Your foot so really nice the way they set it up as you can see unlike your. Your other most of your other shoes. They're very soft and very supple even. Though these aren't the road shoe they. Are extremely stiff these bottoms are extremely stiff they're extremely stiff sole this is the. Same material and this is a ballistic. Nylon that's used to make synthetic gun. Handles and then also your you're not the souls. But it's its used to make the bottoms for skates so ice skates and that. Really for the hockey skates that the. Ballistic nylon that they use that's the same material that city uses to make the. Soles for these particular set of mountain bikes now once you start getting it to higher and ones you then you're gonna get a carbon fiber of course you do have carbon fiber injected. On your genius sevens but the. Interesting thing is that carbon fiber this or is this ballistic nylon is. Just as stiff and just as hard as that. Carbon fiber is the injection ejected. Carbon fiber for the city geniuses okay. So don't be fooled that this isn't carbon fiber salt they are extremely stiff okay. So the reason i went with these is. Because on so you can see up there zoom. In for my content i went with the crank. Brother the crank butter egg beater. Threes absolutely loving those the. Reason why i went with them is because the shoes i had here or mountain bike shoes check out my shimano i was right. There and so i don't want to i want to. Reuse them but i want a little bit better see you a little bit more comfortable shoe so i ended up bone with these, and they had these out here had. Then on sale end up getting them for about 50 60 bucks off got military. Discount on their i was able too as well. From former forms bicycle i was able to. Also use my performance awards card that. I got so i had some money on their. Resume but he's for store credit so i got together i got these for a less than 200 bucks, so we're really happy about that so absolutely great shoe like i said. These aren't cheap but if you look. At a price of standard cd shoe which is about $500. These are their budget entry-level. Shoes okay but when you look at. Cyclotrons the guys are wearing these. Over their higher-end shoes because they want something that's a really hard bottom that doesn't wear really quickly and it's just i would say it's for. Then it's a little bit more comfortable also the other thing is its the only set of shoes that have this pad in the. Center here so that if you were to slip off and you'd hit right here and want it. Scratch up the sole okay so it's kind of nice little touch they got this okay. And then it's just an insert so really. Great shoe so far loving it absolutely loving these like i said the nice thing is city's shoes last forever they really. Really do they're paid $200 for these. But you probably get 20 years out of these shoes so, and they won't go out of style that's the cool thing about these people have them forever, and they really use them so well you guys enjoyed this video if you did give us a thumbs up. Click up here to subscribe if you look. Over here i got another video i have a. Video for one of my previous videos and. You click on that and see some other shoe videos there so hopefully you guys.
