We’re doing a gear review of the garment dragon tail mountain gore-tex let’s go over some of the features and then I’ll talk about performance after that starting from the ground up the dragon tail has a vibram outsole with 6 millimeter deep lugs and an edging platform on the front and back the mid sole has a dual density rubber mid sole a pu heel insert and a removable. Insole the upper is made of 1.8. Millimeter water repellent suede and has a rubber randor on the front and back and laces that go all the way down to the toes for added stability the dragon tail mountain gore-tex boot weighs in at one pound of 4.7 ounces per shoe if. You’re looking for something lightweight and agile these are probably not for you think of these as a solid pair of mountaineering boots just trim down to ankle height that definitely comes with some pros and cons these have really great rock protection incredible durability, and they scramble really well.
