Everybody has their favorite gear. That they take with them. When they're out in the field. Now some difficulty I've had is finding the right pack for all my gear needs well andrew alps mountaineering has an outdoor line. That is sure to solve. All of your problems okay I've used packs in the past I've had problems with. You know the material ripping maybe the zippers are busted. Or they probably just didn't hold up to. What it said it would well. Ithink a lot of people have those problems but Alps really recognizes the need for durability comfort. And all at a really great price. Now let's start with the little beer from Alps. This is a great pack. And has a lot of great features on. It and the storage is really good. It has a main pocket here it's got a pocket on the front. And it's got two pockets on the side. And it's even got a place for your ammunition there too well. Ialso like that these zippers are designed to be really quiet. When you're walking in. And out of feel they won't bounce around rattle. And make noise exactly. And another great thing about. This pack is it's really created for comfort too. You can actually wear. It just as a fanny pack. Or you could wear it with. These backpack straps as well. Now what other features does. This pack has on it well. You know this pack is great by itself but. It also comes with some additional features. If you choose to use. It now this is the binocular attachment. It holds your binoculars.

It keeps them safe and secure so. You don't have to worry about them getting dirty. Or scratched up when. You get into the field. Now it just snaps onto. You really quickly and easily with four little snaps. And I'll show you how secure. It holds it so it's not flopping around. When you're walking through the field. And it's not making additional noise. Now it's also got magnetics here in the lid. That hold it together so it's really quiet but. You can quickly get your binoculars out. When you're walking through the field okay Dee. What other attachments can. You use with the little bear well there's a camera attachment. And there's also a calls attachment. Ilove this camera attachment. Because it allows me to take my camera out with. Me in the field and a lot of times. You don't want to lug. It around and you don't want to have to worry about the safety of your camera. Now this keeps it safe.

And secure it snaps on quickly. And easily with the four points like the other. One does and it's right here in front so. You can always pull. It out if you need a quick shot Andrea let's take a look at. This calls pocket go ahead. And open it up and look inside. And you can see that there's room for all the calls. That you could want to take with. You out in the field well like. You said it looks like there's lots of room for you know slate calls mouth calls. You fit in you know a box call over here. This is like a great pack for any target hunter. It keeps it safe and secure okay. They also see that. You have this big bag sitting over here. Now what is it for well that's the detachable game bag. And that's just gonna go hook right on the back of the little bear. Now the great thing about. This bag is it has an orange safety flag. That you can flip out. And displays or walking through the field well that's a great added safety benefit of. This whether you're carrying decoys in.

This or any type of. You know game that you've harvested safety is always important. When you're walking through the woods exactly. Now the next bag we have here is the Big Bear. Now its larger than the Little Bear. And it has about the same storage features with the main pocket the front pocket. And the two side pockets along with a couple. More pockets along the side in place for your ammunition a great thing about. This pack is that if. You need additional storage. You just unzip this top here. And you've got a day pack oh wow that's a really cool feature about. That whether you know. You just need the fanny pack.

Or add it to the day pack. Now does it have attachments like the little bear does the same attachments can be used with the Big Bear as. They can the little bear. You know all the extra storage features on. This bag it sounds like a great. You know overall hunting pack. It really is its light it's easy to carry. And it's comfortable. And like the little bear. You can use it as a fanny pack. When it's rolled down. Or you could use it in the backpack like. It is now okay cool it's. One of the next bag. That we have well the next pack. We have is the pursuit okay. And it is a great bag for the bow hunter. Now like the other Alpes packs. It has a lot of storage but the great thing about the pursuit is. That it actually holds your bow so. It has this compartment here expandable bow pocket.

That is going to hold almost. Any bow and it's got. This lashing system here. That keeps your bow tight. And secure now it has a very comfortable waist strap like the other ones do so. When you have a heavier load it's going to be easy. And comfortable to carry. Now it even has a hydration port. And if you get caught out in the rain at the bottom here there's a blaze orange rain cover. You can quickly and easily pull out. And cover your bag seems like alves is sort of. Everything when it comes to packs. And with the padded waist belt. All these actually little storage pockets is great. Ireally like this bow case. Because it's really for me it's awkward to carry a bow.

And a pack and just carry. It around with you. Now what is this next pack. That we have here this is the Unison Prowler. And it has a lot of swords like the other ELPS packs. It has two main compartment areas the great thing about. This pack is it has a place for your camera here at the bottom it's got extra padding and. It has adjustable padding within. It so you can adjust. It how you need different lenses. Or your battery packs. And things that you're taking with. You I really how this pack opens. You really see using it. You know when you're in a blind. Or up in a tree stand it's easy to open up it'll help protect. All your equipment exactly in the extra padding gives. You extra insulation for those cold days. You got a camera you know in your backpack. You got a lot of money sitting in there so. You want to make sure it's well protected exactly. And both the pursuit.

And the Unison Prowler are gonna have. This aluminum stake which is gonna give. You extra stability in your pack. And like the pursuit. It also has that blaze orange cover at the bottom. That you can put over your pack. If it's raining well. This has a lot of cool features about. It now what other features does. It has well you can buy a spotting scope sleeve. That fits really securely in here. And it's got a lot of padding so it's going to keep your scope safe. It also comes with one small. And one medium pocket. That you can quickly. And easily move wherever. You want it on the bag using the buddy lock system. It really like the buddy lock system on. This pack what's really cool. You know you can take. It off put it on your waistband so say. You need something close by. You in a secure and safe pocket you've got.

Sacrifice LS is one of the bigger packs in the Badlands lineup coming in at 3400 cubic inches of storage but is also part of the ultralight series coming in under four pounds the sacrifice LS is a top loader so your main compartment is going to be. Most your storage is found. You have a double drawstring closure on the top as well as a bucket lid over the top which is going to give. You do have some additional storage a small zippered compartment up front two large zippered compartments on. Either side of the pack those are great for those taller items. Hi I'm Sam solo here with Gannett region comm. And I'm gonna bring you. Another pack overview mist I'm gonna be talking about the Badlands sacrifice Badlands goal for this pack was have a large load capacity. While shaving the weight down. And to do they used a. More of a backpacking backpack material. Than kind of that. That fleecy feel that a lot of the other packs have so. This pack is thirty-four hundred. And fifty cubic inches so just hundred thirty-five hundred cubic inches. It weighs at three pounds nine ounces so definitely a lightweight pack for how much. You can hold the pack does come with the hyper Vincent suspension system which allows air flow between. And the pack keeping your back dry. While you're gonna be hiking around as well as. That increased lightness at the pack so. You can haul load and you're not already carrying six. Or seven pounds which is definitely a nice feature the entire suspension system has. That hiker vent system. Even the hip pads have the meshing and the holes in the hip pads to allow. More airflow so you're definitely gonna stay cooler. And above the shoulder straps. It does have low digestibility straps depending on clothes. You want to load the ride to your body which is definitely a nice feature. They have that a lot of fun a lot of their other packs too, so we'll just move on to kind of the main the pockets of the pack there are two pockets on the hip straps which. Ifind really nice you need to grab. Something carrying small items like a GPS.

Or your phone or batteries for a camera. Anything like that maybe calls. Or a knife it's definitely a nice place to have. That have easy access to. While you're hiking not having to take your pack off right the top of the pack comes with a very large pocket. It does have two extra pockets in. This top part one on the front here. And then you just flip. And there's one on the bottom. You can actually fit quite a bit in there the pack does have. Several other pockets on the side in the front there's a pocket on. Either side of the pack. That runs pretty much the full length of the pack so. If you're going to need to fit a spotting scope.

Or a tripod it'll definitely fit in there also comes with a mesh pocket on. Either side which is great for a water bottle. Or gloves anything you need to just slide in their obviously the pack is hydration compatible in the main compartment there's a large pouch for holding hydration bladder. Most likely up to 100 ounces. And the tube just runs right out the top the front of the pack there's also two different pockets on. Either side that run pretty much the full length of the pack as well definitely good for rolling up different articles of clothing putting those in there. Some different stuff. You might need while you're out hiking the pack is just littered with straps everywhere so.

You needed you know strap. Any clothes the other clothing down. Anything else there's definitely opportunity to strap pretty much. Whatever you're looking to. This pack sacrifice is bow. And gun compatible there's a zipper on the bottom. And up was a bucket for. Either the bottom cam your bow. Or the butt of your gun. And then you can just strap. It up here at the top so definitely a nice feature for this pack. It does have a stainless steel frame a very thin stainless steel frame which also helps take the weight off your shoulders. It over your hips there is a pocket at the bottom of the pack. That zips all the way across. You can open you definitely able to fit a sleeping bag. Or a tent or your rain gear. Anything else like that bottom pocket which is. Another nice feature kind of allows. You to organize all of your gear a little bit easier. Than digging through the full pack. This is a great lightweight pack. You can definitely haul a lot in.

It badlands stands by their name. You can pretty much beat them up. And they're not going to break. If they do they have. This is Toby from Oh outdoors here I'm here with the commander x-pac from Alps outdoors. Ijust want to go over a. Few of the features of the new pack for this year, so we're gonna start at the bottom here I'm going to go over the bow has a bow holder it's pretty sweet hooks right here. You can attach it through here not just tucks right up in their kind of put. When you're not using it also comes with a rain cover the rain covers actually on the back side it's on the bottom take the tent off here. Ialso put my tent on the bottom of my on mine here. It seems to work the best straps right in their pretty nicely. And the rain covers just right here on the bottom. And just folds right out just right in there. Something pretty nice have. When it's really raining out it's also got a separate compartment which. Ihave my sleeping bag in just right in the bottom so. II really like to have separate area there see the waist belt is. What comes with right here I've got a GPS. One here and then on the other side I've got my rangefinder. Ihaven't hooked up here to shuttle. Idon't lose it's got side pockets for Nalgene bottles. Or water bottles anything really. You just want to kind of put in their pretty secure -. It doesn't have these gonna. You need to come out it's got straps kind of everywhere as. You can see here I've got my knife attached to. One of the other things. Ikind of liked was. It has a spotting scope can't see right here it's got a spotting scope holder right here it's.

All neoprene inside there it's got lashings kind of pretty much everywhere. You can attach different things it's got an outside pack which I'll go into later. That attaches to the frame. And it's one right here. It really it's nice. It comes off pretty easy with just. These four clips so. It comes in at 66 liters it's got ballistic nylon fabric it's really tough the top is great that's. All my camera gear it's got a back pocket see got a back pocket back here kind of put. Everything in their waterproof. And it's got a not bulky kind of slide a. Few things in there I've got. All kinds of pockets like your backpack so. You see on the market just a lot of different things let's see also let's go into the front.

And talk about this strap so it's got really heavy-duty straps it's got your front strap here it's got a really nice back support so. And then actually has a water bladder attachment so. You can attach the water bladder. This is actually a flame. That comes off and turns into. Another pack it actually. This unzips from here. These snaps here and then has a zipper right here cause. You to unzip either side from here. And then you can use. This for when you're out hunting and. You actually can put. All your meat in that part of. It to that's one of the things. That really sold this pack is. You can it's so versatile. You don't have to pack two packs into the woods.

You basically if you're going on a five six day backpacking trips. You can use this for your day pack. This unzips can leave. It in your camp at your tent. And take this out, so I'm gonna show. You guys here in just a minute. This comes off and attaches to the day pack. All right so this frame is five pounds the pack is four pounds so. It comes in about nine pounds total weight. All right so this is the pack here the commander X. And I'm just going to continue on with taking the frame off, so we've got the external pack which. Iwas talking to you guys about earlier. It comes off and actually attaches to the frame after. It off so it unzips on the sides. This is basically what it looks like. It off pack off this folds down just like. And then you can undo. It also has the flaps right here so.

We have taken this off. And for a day pack and we've used. And just attach it on the inside here so put. All your you know your knives your game bags. And different things right in there. You can also take this off which is the bell crow. Or with just the snaps. That are right here. They snap right in you leave. You can take you want to do. It gets a an elk or a deer down I'm just gonna fold. That back and get an elk. Or deer down you can take your quarter put your quarter right in there. You can strap these up like. And then you take and watch. It used to go right over the top. And then this snaps up over here.

All still have straps right here on the side so it's very versatile so. If you're packing it a deer. Or an elk quarter out of the woods to back to your tent camp. You can easily pack. It out like and it's very sleek in design. You look at that it's pretty nice and then. That pack to you can attach. You know anything you want. You put a camera down in here. You can put a tripod on the side here a water bladder attachment. And it's pretty light duty nice for like a. You know heading out for the day pack. And coming back so on. This here this also turns into a fanny pack. Ijust wanted to add. This comes unsnapped as well. And turns into a fanny pack let. Me think about their's a. More things I wanted to talk about so. You can take this off. You can attach your bag back on.

You get a deer you bone. You can put your meat in here. And then put the pack right over the top. You won't be able to zip. It in but you can lanyard with. All the straps onto the back so. You can have your meat. And then your pack over the top of the quarters so pretty awesome pack really excited to get. It out in the woods. And test this year 2015 so thanks for tuning in guys check. Good morning guys welcome to hike hunt Michigan apologize for not getting a video a lot as much as I'd like to was in a car crash about a week ago broke my pole right in half tried using it last night making a video just wasn't. It so today I'm going to do a product review sitting right here. This is a this is my unpack hiking pack from Alps Lander X that's. What it's called it's a 40 liter pack with a built in frame. And it's actually really great. It runs about 350 dollars on Amazon shipping not included in. That of course you can get just the heart hard frame pack. And then I had the pack on later but. Something you're interested in, so we're going to go through first of. This is the comfiest pack I've owned I've had a couple of them that's. Isee here as I've used bunch of other people's. Ican hike five miles with a fully loaded pack. Ihave to adjust this thing you want so.

This foam right here. You guys can see this that's. What makes it so comfy. It does have an internal frame so it's not like your standard frame packs but let's go through. What it comes with so. That light you just leave. It on it's a good indicator. You set your pack down in the middle of the night. Or you're hiking its getting a little darker with. Some people that way. You can kind of find. Each other it does have obviously the cross strap here. You use but it also comes with. These two packs on your waist. Ihave my fire starter kit has a multi-tool. You never know when you're going to need. It just my little striker on the case. Ineed to make a quick fire easy access it's also still has enough room up put a protein bar in there so. Iam going on my headaches a quick protein bar I'll do. That the other I carry my GPS well see protein bar yes. That was with the GPS so.

Icarry money I got a garmin etrex that's. What I carry with when I'm hiking in case. Ihad case I needed haven't had to use II. Ihaven't gone on a too. Many big weeks and then I'll also carry a headlamp went off the other night that's in the other room haven't put. Everything back in here a lot of. This weight set up our analysis for storage. Iwas doing some cleaning so. All my stuff just got thrown in. Than for functionality. All right, so we're just going to have the bottom on. This thing tear it apart. And just go I going down fall. It does not like to sit upright, so we'll just start top to bottom so tap. You have this lid I just continued the access stuff in here. Igot my stared pin for water purification. Some other random toilet paper know. When you're going to move. That it's more it's a fire starter. Some fire started, so I'm going to hook. This lid actually does come off completely. Yet to use that function. Ibelieve you have to under the straps for.

That but it acts as a fanny pack so in here are your straps. And they'll actually like. Isaid act as a fanny pack um. Ihave not needed to use. You have the lid and their zipper on top. You also have one in back. Ihave spoons with a multi-tool for eating delts. And ramen noodles some repair kits. Iknow there's a another repair kit so that's. What I'm using mine for Wow All right work my way down so. This right here this pack focus are. This is my favorite part so. It actually does unstrap completely off of. This external pack this is your day pack is. That there it is perfect so. It comes completely off as. You can see some game bags in here. Imean like I said I'm not going to go through every little detail. Ihave but it's got a pouch in the front I'll just show. Imean it's got so much. Igot a song here it holds a lot of stuff, so I'm gonna set. This to the side, and we'll come back to.

This actually does attach to the frame. And is meant for a day pack alright, so we're going to have to strap. Something cool about. This tank is this right here. What this is I actually took my spotting scope out. We were looking at it the other day spotting scope holder oh that's. It covered so the only bad thing is my spotting scope doesn't actually fit in there without taking it apart but. Ihaven't had any issues with. It I've been hiking a couple times with. It pumps down some trees but it's padded. And it's actually a softer fabric since. Everything else on that is great has. These loops you can put. Isee see I put carbines on. You can hook whatever. You need through it, so we're just going to go to the outside features here that's in there just got a couple they're here coupled on the other side. That out I was using so it's pretty nifty um has a separate compartment. This is what's cool so.

Ihas a separate compartment here um. What I use it for is. Ihave a lot of my sleeping stuff so my pillows in here my hammock is in here but. You look closely to the second zipper. This will actually allow. You can get it's harder ease but. It allows you to get into your main pack. All right you ready for the coolest part of. You guys this is a hunting hiking tech boom. Anybody know what this is right here it's a gun holder. You look on my Instagram page. Iposted this was working but essentially as. You can see here you put the butt of the gun in here. You can put the bow. And it'll actually rest right against your pack. And that's what these straps are for as. You just strap it will cinch.

It rights down it's amazing on. Ihike probably two miles with my bow. And never moved and have. Any issues with it um I'm not going to pull. It out but it also comes with a built-in rain cover that'll cover the entire thing so. You can see have not had to use. Yet thankfully um but it's there in case. You ever do need it perfects alright, so I'm just going to try. And show you the inner workings. Ican may be a little dark. Ihave to clear some stuff out well that's not too bad get my sweater out of here. Iwas carrying an extra shirt, so we're thinking here. What you can see through a water bladder oh. It actually has two spots for two different water bladders. You wanted you could put. One in the main pack. And then want to play. It is pretty deep just.

It goes to my elbow so. It was fully you guys can see. It is again it is a 40 litre. That doesn't include. What you can fit in between the pack. And the mainframe this whole thing right here completely unzip. It on the other side as well there are. Some straps up here those will have to get unhooked there's two of them just like. You have your external tank. You have your main pack so. Iset our main pack aside we've already discussed hot so. This is down a little bit here. All right so as you can see. Icarry my hydration bladder that's. What this is that in the frame bag what's nice about. It makes this is designed to actually carry mini guys so. You are hiking around out west. You quarter your animal. You can fit a whole quarter in here so. Ihave game bags and I'll just show. That works I'm going to unhook here let. You back so you can actually see. All there we go perfect Wow. All right so this flap goes up. And folds down alright. And then you can open off so the idea of.

It is you're going to put your you're going to put your game in here. And then this allows. You to obviously loosen up wish. Something I can float anyway. And obviously these then. You can cradle now your game is up to. Both sides this guy's is. What the other straps are for because. You have enough in here. These little straps aren't going to allow. You to have that game meat. Whatever it is you're carrying in here see. That is a tight fit so. You want to do and then. What you're actually going to do you're going to take the straps. We had earlier folded. These back in so you put your game in buckle your top straps in granted. This probably would hold. You never go on a p2 shirt so.

You come back to they were originally strapped. And strap in on your time. Now game security obviously. That 1 am you do the top. All right so now we're going to look at as. We talk about this day pack earlier. And going to show how to attach. It to the frame Mandy to keep. All your main stuff in your external pack. It you're going out for a hike. Or you're just going for a night hike. You want to pack you just take the frame pack. You can carry your water with. You can carry all your essentials. Igot game bags and knife in here. Everything else obvious is in the main frame I'm so. What you'll do is you're actually going to extend your straps. What they do see I just show. All right so behind here there's. These little these are those little loops you're actually going to lose the day pack right through there so.

What you do it's just so heavy. And awkward story of my life alright so then. You just loop it back into its BOP looking right back into itself the other side here over here. And then you just tighten as. Me beep so what's nice about. You can seal put it up right here so. You have your external frame pack. You got a pack with. Everything and then. You just either tuck your sides back behind. It which is you're not. Anything and then you put the cover back on. You got to loosen up the straps perfect so what's nice about. These guys is you can see the zipper. Everything else is still accessible without having to undo. This part but let's say you're out hunting you do get a beer pretty simple. This whole thing now flips over put your deer on. You can loosen up your straps. You can fold this back heck.

You can sit on top it can sit on top. You need to see but. All your meat in here. And fold it back up. This is still out of your way. It does also look like it's got a spot for small water bottles cell phone. Whatever you may need in here is. What it weighs it's probably a couple pounds so it's super lightweight. You could take on a date hunt don't have to worry about. All your external stuff leave. It back at camp just take. What you need for your heart so again. This is about $350 I mean with shipping tax. Everything your 400 hours out the door for the pack. Ishowed it is a great starter pack. If you're looking to get into long hikes.

And hunts its amazing it'll hold up to 80 pounds. Ibelieve is what it says having tested. That our most comfortable pack I've owned the fact. It can hold your bow hold a quarter of a deer. And hold all your camping stuff it's just amazing I mean. What you could do to is. You have your game bag. This is nice this separates. Everything from your tan so. You don't have to worry about getting all your stuff bloody your sleeping bag. It is except er ated so. You put your quarter here. All your tent stuff there. You go take it back to your car on you're done. And then you just hose. Everyone this is Erin from Michigan ambush outdoors so lately after. Iposted the video of our hiking trip on the Manistee River Trail. And the north country trail I've been getting a lot of questions. And requests to do a review on the pack. Iused, so I figured I'd just go ahead. That for you guys this week so the fact. Iused is that's actually from Alps outdoors. This is from their extreme pack line. They have this is the it's called the commander x+ pack the pack is made with sixteen eighty D nylon ballistics webbing stitching it's also made with robic nylon fabric for added strength the total pack empty weighs 9 pounds. One does have an internal frame which I'll cover but. That weighs roughly 5 pounds. And then you have 4000 cubic inch storage space in the main compartment so it's a pretty big backpack it's its probably on the heavier side of. This pack for me I was looking to purchase a pack 2 wanted a pack. That would give me the ability to order. And the versatility to carry. And also packing all my gear so. Ineeded something with a lot of storage space.

And again I needed. Something with an internal frame. Icould strap something to for mule deer hunting and elk hunting and. Some areas we hunt in Michigan. You know are not very accessible. You got a microwave back so dragging a deer is not always the. Most ideal thing so quartering it out. And packing it out of the screen so. This pack I use for hiking and hunting, so I'll kind of just go over. Some features so just kind of right off the bat here. We have a front pocket. This actually detaches so go ahead. And take this off for you guys so. This front pack is very convenient. You know for me what I use. This pack for is I put a lot of my para cord in here. Ido put my para cord in here put my first-aid kit in here.

Iput my water filter in here. Iput my Flint starter. And also my camp stove in my cooking set. Ihad, so I just have a stanley tin with MSR pocket rocket. And a spoon all fits into the stanley can. And then everything in here. Ikind of just set that on top. It upI'll use this pouch here. And I'll just kind of hook a cup to. Or there's really not a lot. You can do with it is probably. You know could fall out so. Ijust cook miscellaneous stuff in their maybe. Some snacks something well I'd like. You have this pack. You know allows you to store. Some stuff some small stuff. You know you need and not take up. Any of the main compartment space so that's kind of the first thing the top pocket is also really nice.

It does have two pouches it's got a main pouch here. And then it's got a very loud top pouch. Now on the hiking trip. And probably I was doing a backpack hunting trip. What I put in here is. Iput my sleeping pad it's actually a blow-up sleeping pad. That can press this down so. It fits nicely in here. And then also for colder weather camping I have a liner an MSR liner. That are actually is Alps I'm sorry it's a. Ialso have an out outdoors liner for my sleeping bag to give. Some added temperatures so. Both of those fit pretty nicely in here I'll put my raincoat in here. It actually fits it here as well. You know any other snacks gum. Iput gum in here you know maybe a flashlight.

Something I don't necessarily need to access. All the time but I needed. It's easy to access like the rain cold code so that's pretty nice. One thing I do like about. This as well is this will actually it's essentially removable. You can use this as like a lumbar. Or a fanny pack style. If you're just doing some hiking around your camp. You guys are over once you're established so the main compartment like. You have a lot of room. You have a lot of compression straps for tighten down your stuff like. Isaid with this it's 4000 cubic inch of storage so. You have a lot of compartments space typically. What I'm putting in here is I'm putting in my clothes jacket socks underwear. Anything extra that I'm bringing on my hunting territory my hiking your hunting trip. We want on the Manistee River Trail actually has three days worth of clothes in here. Iwas probably I really needed. We probably changed.

We really should have so. We have a hiking trip coming up for Memorial weekend. Where we're only bringing a couple layers of clothing so. Ishould have a lot of extra space in here but I'm also putting food in here putting some outer layers. Some base layers and then. You know like I said mainly food. Another big area in the pack is. It does allow you to store a bladder compartment. You can run the hose right out the side here. You have a h2o pose outlet. It comes through and actually connects to. This strap here on your shoulder so. You can easily access the bladder package sure. You get the world how those work but. This compartment allows. Me to sort 3 litres of water with. All my gear in it actually allows. You to hold quite a bit. Another cool thing I don't have a battery in. It actually I just remove. Igot a cool LED light. Inever use I don't know.

What it's really for but. You go let's look for something inside the pack cool but. Imean as you can see I've used two sack by two times. Ijust goes off that tag so which allowed. It to light up so other. That's kind of the main compartment. You also have a sleeping bag compartment which is really nice. Ihave a sleeping bag that's rated for 40 degrees. It fits perfectly in here. Idon't have any problems. And y'all throw this in here. And then I'll start to load up my actual pack. And with the weight of. Everything inside the pack. It actually can press. It down quite a bit so that's pretty nice as well for my tent. It to the bottom of my pack down here. Igot a couple nylon straps with. Some pretty nicely made buckles. Iput my tent down here like. Isaid in my tent footprint. Or my tent tarp whatever I'm using I'll put. That there I have an REI passage to which. You know fits pretty nicely. And compresses down so that's pretty nice. Another thing like this pack is originally designed for a hunting situation but.

It a lot for hiking but the good thing is. Iget to use it does have a gun holder. Or a bow holder this is fully adjustable for whatever type of weapon you're carrying so. It allows you to also put a gun to the back end. Or a bow like I said so it's out of your way. When hiking and you have. Both hands-free so this just kind of tucks right up in here. And out of the way another really cool feature of. This backpack which. Ireally like a lot I've never had to use. It does have an intern. Or don't have a built-in rain cover so. That comes right out. It attaches you can see. Even still got a paper coming out of here spot. You ever got caught in the rain. You just go ahead and quickly throw. That on what's that it's pretty nice with the house logo so. You still got a little bit of orange on your back. You know in a hunting situation. Iprobably went away before so that's pretty nice as well. Ido like that feature. That was a huge selling point for me.

When looking at a hunting hiking type of backpack is drain cover. And gun carrying another really cool feature of. This for this backpack is on the side here. You actually have a fleece lined compartment right on the side so the side of the backpack. You have a fleece lined compartment which is designed to carry a spotting scope so. When I'm not hunting though. This is a pretty nice compartment. Ican put things in here lightweight stuff I'll. Either do a half face mask gloves kind of put cold weather like. Isaid Huff gloves hats face mask put. That right in here zip. Idon't have to worry about. You know pulling stuff out of my bag during the day. It fall out and losing it. And then also it doesn't affect the actual storage compartment it's in a hunting situation. You would lose a little bit of space on the inside but not very much so. Ido like that as well. You know it's a very basic backpack gives. You again a lot of versatility. You know a lot of storage space so. Imentioned in the beginning of the video.

This backpack has an internal frame so. If you're ever in a hunting situation. We have the ability to pack out meat so make sure. Igot along the straps undone so. You have two buckles on the side. You have a zipper give. Me a second takes a little bit of work to get. This off so pretty heavy-duty but like. Isaid so we got two buckles here on the bottom. And then you lose the pack. You have an external frame so. This frame opens up. And allows you to scrap. Any type of game you have Porter got on your back. You can probably load about a hundred pounds of meat on the back of. And then still attach your four thousand cubic inch of storage space to the backpack. And be able to hike out. And just like that the bags reattached to the frame so it's a really nice setup.

Ireally like this option. You have again you know for me I'm doing hiking and hunting with. This pack so I needed. Something like if you're just doing hiking this probably isn't the facts. That you'd want to go with. Because like it does weigh 9 pounds. Idon't know what some of the Oxford Osprey pack packs way but I'd imagine they're they're a little lighter. You have a very nice Velez backing it's padded. You have padded waist belts which are really nice. This frame is fully adjustable. Ibelieve the specs on. This goes anywhere from 17 to 21 inches so depending on I'm not a very tall guy in 5/8 so. Ihad to do a lot of adjusting it is kind of hard to adjust the frame but. You get the hang of. It's not a big deal side pouches. You can see here you've got two really nice big side pockets on. Both sides so for me I'll put my GPS on my right.

Because I'm right-handed so. Ioften check my GPS to make sure. That I'm following the right track. Or I'm in the right area. Ineed to be in, so I'll put my Gamin 64 St right in. This pouch and then in. One I'll usually have a headlamp. And depending on the type of weapon. That I'm carrying if I'm carrying my M&P; 40. Or my 357 security six which is also a Smith & Wesson firearm I'll put like a extra magazine for a speed loader in here. It just really depends on what I'm carrying you know overall. This is a great pack. Iwent out on the Manistee River Trail. Ihad roughly about 45 pounds of gear. You felt like you knew. You had the weight on your pack but. Iwas never in a situation. Where my shoulders hurt. Where my waist hurt. You know it's very comfortable. You know it holds the weight really well really close to your body.

And as long as you pack. It rights you put your heavier stuff on the bottom. And kind of load upwards with. Some lighter stuff. You know it'll stay close to your body. It fits really nicely again. This is the Alps outdoor commander plus pack to their extreme line. You guys are looking for a backpack. That allows you to go hunting hiking you know. This is definitely something. You want to consider. This backchat runs right around the price point of 350 depending on where. You order I actually ordered. One off Amazon and a ship very quickly to the house with Prime so.
