They run about six to eight so over spawning flats around docks.

Hey guys just open up my mailbox. And I got something. That I’ve been waiting for since. Icast and it’s the Berkeley dredger crank baits here. It is in December and they’re finally out. And the cool thing about. These crank baits is. They dive really deep, but they’re very small for how deep they’ll die like. This is a 255 model, so we’ll dive 255 feet it’s roughly the same size as. One of my other favorite crank baits the strike king 6xd. You know both are about three inches long so having a smaller bait. That can get down that deep is awesome. And the way they did. This is the way that the lip is designed. It actually has a weight inside of. It looks like a little disc right in the tip of. It and it’s a little bit longer bill as well but the body of the bait is just about three inches. You know it’s also a 205 model there’s a 145 a 105. And then also a 175 come in a lot of good colors. And they have those Berkeley fusion 19 treble hooks which. Ilike them I mean they’re good solid treble hooks. And I haven’t had any problems with them on. Any of the Berkeley hard baits. That I’ve used in the past year so that’s the new Berkeley dredger crank bait check. It out I’ll put a link below but so far I’m really impressed with.

They just didn’t happen to come about you’ve been working hard. And actually these new ones the new dredgers are we’ve been working on these for three years. Now you’re just starting to see. Some finished products so. And not just a week a year. Imean months out of the year we’ve worked on these things actually it’s been about everyday job, but we’ve really got. Some special stuff I’m really interested in telling you well. You know I always looked up to. You on your crank bait fishing because. Iknow you’ve won so much money on them. Isee a crank bait that you’ve designed it’s got my interest. What goes into a crank bait like. This like what on the dredgers with the different sizes. What are you looking at to make.

It a fish catching bait okay. Iknow there’s a lot of attributes well there’s really a. Few things we do at Berkley. One thing we’re innovative we’re not copying anybody we’re not getting some outsider to make bass we’re doing it in-house in Spirit Lake Iowa. If you’ll notice some of these baits. We have two things we have really beautiful paint jobs. And unique jobs something this look we’ve got. Some different colors out but the thing is we’re real innovative in. How we’re making our baits get deeper smaller sizes only average will run about five feet deeper per size bait. Anything on the market. Most of the time to get a bait to run deep companies would put a giant lip on them. And make the body bigger but. Inoticed the first thing I saw.

These today at ICAST was the body arms a lot smaller like. That made their runs is a twenty-five. And a half million that’s right twenty-five. And a half feet in you know it’s a three. And a quarter inch crane bait. It is amazing how easy. That whines it throws but it’s very impressive. This bait gets that deep. How tough would you use on. That bait to get it down 25. And a half feet well. We use the oh you know ten pounds hares ten pound test. You know you get a toy. If you’re only gonna take about six inches but. You go to 14 you’re gonna start taking feet away from. You know you need to say somewhere between the eight. And twelve pound range. Everything and we judge. Everything by about ten pound diameter. Now the cool thing is. That goes twenty-five. And a half feet deep. And then you go a whole range here.

What else have. You we’ve got one of the rest twenty. And a half feet deep which is a three-inch frame bait. And we’re most of our competition. Or run in fifteen to seventeen we’re running twenty feet. All perfect body yes. And then we drop down from. That we’ve got a seventeen five which is actually just a little bit bigger. Most people’s mid size range crank bait. And ours runs eighteen fifty. One may be the most impressive. You know this is a two. And a half inch screen bait a lot of them. You know we’re talking post 300 we’re talking dt ten we’re talking building norman little in. All those bass running around ten feet deep. You know what this bait runs try sixteen feet deep.

It the fourteen five but is phenomenal. And up in your neck of the woods in canada. This thing right here ain’t gonna be able to make enough up that’s gonna be versatile. Because that’s gonna catch a lot of large month but also a lot of small. More a lot of small weather next bait is a small mouth. This is a tiny bait. It a 10-5 it will run 12 feet deep on a good long cast. That is a perfect size for those great big small ease very nice well I’m telling you. This is the nicest I’d say the. Most complete set of won stalls crank bait. Ithink I’ve ever seen on the market yeah. It turned out good we’ve worked hard. We went through 28 different bodies before. We settled on you know. We got the water to help. And that’s one thing. We at Berkeley are very innovative. We have the facility to look at things every aspect so instead of making a bigger body. And a bigger lift to make. It go deeper we actually use a normal lip. And a normal body we let water push. It deeper and that’s. What we got with the new dredger they’re really hydrodynamic well I’m so excited David to give them a shot out on the water.

If you’re gonna make a crank bait. You got to do what the folks at Berkeley did get the best crank. Any fisherman that has ever been on the planet thanks a bunch man appreciate. It thanks you appreciate it.

Everybody this is south of steel water outdoors coming at. You today with a new lure just came out not too long ago. This is the Berkley digger series of crank baits. These were designed by David Fritz same guy. That designed the Rapala DT Series as well. You may know that’s. One of my favorite crank baits of. All time so I was really curious to get. These in and try them out. Because from what I could see online. They were extremely similar to the DT series so. Iwanted to get them in. And check them out what all was different so the first main thing. That is different about. These crank baits is they’re plastic. Whereas the DT series is balsa so should be a little bit. More durable I know a lot of guys have problems with the DT series. You know what the boss of being the fragile nature. It is so with these being plastic. That right offs the start should make them a little. More durable another thing you’ll probably notice the bill on these is a little bit thicker. Than a DT this is the 65 here it’s supposed to run about six. And a half feet depending on your line size. This is the eight point five again runs eight. And a half feet or so depending on your line size okay so.

One is somewhat similar to the BT 10. One is going to be comparable to the DT six okay so the six point five here are two inches long in length. And weighs in at a half an ounce okay to compare. That to a DT 6 d t6 is 3/8 of an ounce. And is 2 inches long so the length is the same but. This lure here is an eighth of an ounce heavier but again it’s supposed to dive a half of a foot deeper so. You know that could be expected the eight point five series here according to the product packaging is seven sixteenths of an ounce. And it’s two and a half inches long not to sure on the accuracy. That 7/16 of an ounce. Idon’t know why the bigger lore would be lighter. Than the smaller lore. You look online I know tackle warehouse has. This listed at 9/16 of an ounce which makes. More sense so you know maybe Berkley got. It wrongs but this is the 85 says it’s 7/16 fit out, so I’m not sure exactly I’m gonna lean on tackle warehouses estimate of.

It being 9/16 of an ounce so to compare. These side by side we’ll start with the 65. And a dt 6 ok as you can see body profile from the side looks the same the bills the angle of them is pretty much identical see. That okay you can definitely tell. That the digger bill is much thicker. Than the dt 6 bills okay. It gets interesting is. You look at these straight on the digger 65 is wider. Than the dt 6 try to show. These to your side by side see. You can definitely see. That the digger 65 has a little bit bulkier side-to-side profile. And the width of the bill is a little bit bigger as well but again. It should be a little bit. More durable it is plastic. And it’s got this bigger bill thicker bill which I’m sure a lot of anglers will appreciate.

Another big difference in. These two baits is the sound so the dt 6 the whole dt series. These lowers come with single knocker. And that’s they have can barely hear. It okays doesn’t make much noise. Now the digger being plastic is naturally going to be louder but. Than a single knocker. It sounds like there’s a big bigger knocker in the middle here. And then it sounds like there’s a little rattle back here to. Me so it’s definitely gonna make. More commotion in the water for you okay so that’s the digger 65. And the DT six compared side-by-side okay so. Now we’ll show you the digger 85 in the dc-10 the 85 is listed at two. And a half inches and the dc-10 is listed at two. And a quarter I think the DT is longer maybe I’m wrong but. It definitely looks like the DT 10 is longer. Than the 85 okay same thing plastic balsa okay.

One little single knocker in here just makes a little ticking sound kind of like a crayfish. This digger way louder okay. You look at them top the bottom from the side profile DT tends a little bit taller. This was okay we can do a side profile here maybe I’ll cooperate okay much. More rounded on the digger. And the DT 10 has more of a flat side to. It okays so there are. Some differences between the two. They fish I’m not sure. And literally just got. These in today and it’s the middle of February here in Pennsylvania, so we’ve still got ice on the water okay so. If you’re a big crank bait fisherman like. Iam go pick up some of the Berkley digger series from. What I can tell so far they’re a little lower. They come with the new Berkley fusion 19 hooks. These things are super sharp. They stick everything’s great baits.

Some great colors this color here is called ghillie. One here is called yellow perch. They come in a handful of colors. Ithink there’s eight. Or ten colors in the lineup currently so go check them out Berkeley digger series thanks. This has been set at Stillwater outdoors.

This CD eleven in one day a trout fishing we put. More miles on this bait. What I have on my hands. This CD series by Rapala. Ipromise you’re gonna have. More baits that look like. Icame up with the new fat Papa 70. This is the 70 millimeter version it’s about like. What you would call a 30. And then also a 55 millimeter which is about a 15 key features about. These baits we’ve got the computer chip lip which increases the kick. And the lively action of the bait as well. It helps it deflects off of cover. We made them extremely buoyant with thinner walls with. It with the plastic. You can reel them super fast. This is gonna be a big fish bait. That you’re gonna throw around a shallow wood stumps. And docks you know isolated cover for big fish. And the 15 is gonna be. More of a search bait a springtime bait. Where you’re gonna get a lot of bites. And you’re gonna build a really fast has a really cool hunting motion to. Ican’t wait for you guys to get. Ithink you’re gonna love it.

Hey guys rustling Bass master Elite Series Pro. Ijust want to give. You a little overview of my signature line of crank baits with SPRO it’s the fat Papa Series first. One then it comes out with. Several years back this probe fat Papa’s 70 it’s a bait. That runs 12 to 15 foot depending on what you know pound tests. Iuse generally use sniper 12. Or sniper 10 fluorocarbon. That mainly in the early postpone period of the year. Or the late fall and always looking for schools of fish on deep ledges. And then that the basement get to making a lot of money on. That Bay the next bait. We come out a couple years later was the fat Papa 55. This is a great fall just a like a good mid depth running crank bait gets. You a lot of bites it’ll run seven. Or eight foot on ten pound tests. You usually use it in the backs of creeks. Some channels swing banks. And stuff really works good like those are tight Lakes.

You know on those Rock Lakes. This bass got me out of a lot of jams over here so. That Papa 55 is doing a lot of. You guys requested lately for the square for square bills in the fat Papa shape. You know now we’ve got the fat pop of 70. And fat pop of 55 square bills. These things are awesome. They perform a lot like balsa style baits. That they’re very buoyant. They cast well they come with computer chip lips again Yakutsk looks like. All the SPRO baits do. These things are fish catchers. This thing’s gonna get. You a lot of bites. This one’s gonna catch. You a lot of big ones but that’s pretty much a general rundown of my signature baits the fat puffs of series will spray check them out hope.

You know there’s a bait in my tackle box it’s. What I call a four-wheel drive of. All baits and that’s a square bill crank bait square bill crank bait has properties. And has boolean C it deflects. It runs into cover it’s got a great wiggle. And a great wobble me a lot of bytes in shallow water situations but there are times. When I’m fishing on a lake. That has a population of smaller fish I’m River fishing where bait size does matter. And smaller that a 10 square bill from Strike King is my go-to. This little bitty boy right here has. All the attributes of its big brother has buoyancy deflection characteristics has a great wiggle. And a great wobble but. Yet it’s just a bite-sized morsel just like a Snickers candy bar. One of those little bite size. You get at Halloween stole a bunch of those from my kids. This weekend at Halloween but. This bait right here gets. Me those extra bytes. More keeper I need to fill out a limit so.

Many times. Ifishing on mono filament line. Iuse cigar ripping mono filament in 12 to 15 cranks it through. And around cover rocks the whole nine yards making it bounce. And deflect is the key to. Hey guys Adam here from the bass note welcome to the world of bass fishing in. This video we’re going to be talking a little bit about the 5x d series of crank baits yes. Ilabel mine how deep. They can go and that’s usually between 10 and 15 feet. These are just a couple variations here of how. What colors I generally throw. And just going to kind of give. You a quick look at. It’s got some pretty cool looking eyes in there really nice looking bait. They have pretty good paint jobs on them. These are going to come in. And around oh I don’t know. You can see some rust on there. Where them is sitting in the tackle box but. These are generally come in. And right around I think I’m gonna say about six to seven dollars. It probably just all depends on where. You get them I get them from Bass Pro Shop just kind of whoever has them on sale. They have a long you can see the build on. It kind of swoops out like. And they’ve got a wide build on their kind of gives. It a pretty good action in the water. They dig real good like. You can see how wide the bill is kind of helps lock. That keeps that hook from getting caught up. You can see they say. You see the sparkle in the paint job they’re just kind of giving you guys a quick overview of the 5xd crank bait they’re a lot of the crank bait fish especially in the summer like the deep crank bait.

You know it’s just one of my favorite things to do. Ilove throwing crank baits. Some people call them idiot baits. You know that’s in other opinions. Iguess but you know. Idon’t really think they’re idiot baits. You throw them in you know deeper water. And stuff like you still got to find the fish guys manage the seller is — they’ve got extremely sharp hooks on them big those hooks. Ican’t remember I don’t know exactly which hooks are on these. You guys can weigh in the comments down there. And tell what style hooks. What name brand of hooks are on these I’m pretty sure. Idon’t think there must ads I’m pretty sure they’re not must ads but.

You know that’s just a quick overview guys. On a quick view of. It lets’s pick to sell them up here show. You guys on it’s a really cool looking this one’s a cool looking beta can’t remember which color. One comes in I think the. They come in a ton of different colors I’m pretty sure it’s like seven to ten different colors but plenty of color variations. These are just some of my favorite ones. These are the ones I’ve had the best luck. One so that’s why I kind of stay in. This color range right here so that’s a nice little setup there I’m the next video I’m gonna be coming out with guys it’s gonna be on the sixth XD which is right here. You can kind of see the difference in the size. And the bill everything you can tell. This one’s been beat up pretty good. You know cuz I’ve thrown. It quite a bit but uh. You can see the difference in the size there. One will go down to 18 to 20 feet. And works very well but that’s not the review on. One will be cranked out here next.

Hey folks we’re here again on Kentucky Lake we’re doing some offshore fishing I’d like to tell. You a reason why the Strike King 6xd is such a good crank bait it’s. All over the country every offshore tournament you’ve seen we’re catching the fish deep on a crank bait the last two years the 6xd has been the go-to bait for everybody. And it’s not just you know coincidence. This bait catches them so well there’s a lot of things. That were added to this bait. And a lot of features of. That I’m going to go over with. You it’s the reason why is simply catches. More fish some neat things to. It I’ll come in close. And kind of show few of these things on the bill first of. Idon’t know you can see. This but it kind of curves up right out on the end of the bill we’ve taken an already great bait the strike king series six. We added a little bit of link to the bill but. It a little curvature right up there at the front which picks up the water real quick gets. It dive straight down so. It down to those deep depths quick. It stays there and tough.

Because you’ve only got. You know a small window of opportunity to get. That bait down to the maximum death on a 60-yard cast. You know you’ve only got the middle part of your cast there to get. It down so you’ve got to get. It down quick and that’s. What adds to you notice it’s we’ve taken a lot of the bulk out right along in there. That allows for better action. And getting the wiggle. While it’s diving real deep. And also we’ve taken a lot of the bulk out right in here you’ll see a lot of crank baits on the market today deep diving crank baits. That is just full of plastic. This lexan stuff is just full of. It rights there were the bill connects to the body well with striking we’ve taken.

That bulk away and we’ve streamlined. That gives it a lot. More action but it takes a lot of. That slug feel the weight to. You can feel this bait the whole way down. That water is just streamlining right off of the bill so those are the two of the things. Ireally like more is the sound of the rattle. You know that’s not like a. One knocking sound but it’s not a little BB sound. Either there’s something totally different it’s a rattle. That it’s a noise we wanted different. Any other crank bait out there. That has a lot to do with the reason why it’s catching so. More fish so you know. You see a lot of people using it Kevin’s won tournaments on. It I’ve won tournaments on. And people say why does. It catches them so much better. Than by the guy in the back of the boat fishing with. It simply has features on. That no other crank bait has out there striking 6xd it’s a must for deep water cranking with Rance HDS.

One of the best seasons of. All time winning at Huntsville structure scan revealed a stretch of river channel line with stumps. And loaded with fish. And a Smith Mountain a GPS mapping to find specific windblown points. That held the biggest bass. You want to win like. You better get HDS Tomsky grease change your view with HDS.
