Okay, so I’ve got a brand-new Coleman six-man instant cabin tent new in the box, I’m gonna be setting that up I. Think right here. The tent is roughly 8 by 10, so I’m gonna use that 10 by 12 tarp as a ground cover I have learned to bring my own cabin floor. I bring an 8 by 10 nice, clean moon, tarp and put inside the tent. The floors aren’t the best anyhow. In that way it stays totally dry.

I don’t have to get some rocks stake. This out got my 10 by 12 ground cover tarp out. Oh, what’s that it’s a cow, patty I must have thrown that in there and take a good look at it because you’ll never see it that neatly folded up again. Ever oh look, they’ve actually got this thing, stuffed Yuna, another box. Okay, you can easy way to do this. Mister, just upend this dude there’s the chance I could learn how to fold this gent like this back up and do a package like this.

My life would be complete, pull arrows away from white bar until polls click number one spread number to extend. Number three pop-up- they say you can put one of these up in a minute, probably can with practice to hell a lot easier than most of here. Campy cancer, small tents, move that rock before I break my toe on knees. I, don’t use these. They use my own and I, probably won’t put the rain fly on tonight, because zero chance of rain, all right, I think I’ve been spreading here, definitely spreading.

So now it’s time to what extend yeah, we go. There’s one, here’s two there’s three, no god I, hope I’m not too close to this. Damn tree yeah nice floor. There’s my chant come on what six Chinese midgets come on, get real me and my stuff, maybe me and one other person and some of our stuff, but not not six people I, don’t think much of the floor. It’s really flimsy, in my opinion, I expect it to develop holes or whatever I do like the fact that it has plenty of ventilation really important when you’re camping on weather, like this 90 degrees during the day, they’re really good good breeze.

Going like a lot and the other thing. I like a whole lot is the Headroom. I can actually stand up in this tent there’s something else. I’ve started, doing, which I’ve found to come in very handy and now I don’t mean drinking beer, I’m drinking this to stay hydrated I like to label all of my tarps, because, let’s face it once they’re folded up and they get can yeah grungy and dirty looking and they’re all either greener.

Brown it’s hard to tell you know what they’re supposed to be used for, so we’re gonna go 8 by 10 and Coleman cabin. This will be peace of mind when it does rain and I know, they’ll, be nice and dry on my tenth floor and there you have it. My camp is made, except for all that crap I throwed away now check it out and that tent did go up really fast. So I like these, you know what I’ll put the guy ropes up tomorrow.

I think I’ve had a little bit too much. Hydration and I got to put all that crap away and I’m starving didn’t eat. Any lunch today haven’t eaten since this morning. There’s my tent did a great job of providing me a comfortable, roomy dry residents for this little trip, so I spent eight days in it. I had room for a table chair my gear box, my bow case, my computer. My bed was over here.

If you get one of these be sure and order, the rain fly, it does not come with a rain fly so get the matching rain fly that goes with your tent. I ended up not using the guylines once I put the rain fly on. It has its own guidelines once I guide them out. It seemed to give enough stability to my tent anyhow. That’s the Coleman six-man cabin instant, tent.

Have desperately been wanting, we got a tent, so we are fixing to review the coleman instant cabin. It’s the four-person 8×7, so we’re just gonna set it up here in the yard. We really wanted to do a bonafide camping trip, but with things that are going on we’re just gonna be camping in our yard. Right now, so this’ll be so. Let’s get started on unboxing this and see what all’s in it and seeing how fast it’s set up its supposed to set up in 60 seconds.

I, don’t think so! Maybe after you learn how to put it up, you can do it in 60 seconds, but we’ll see so, let’s see alright. So, let’s open this okay hold on I love the bag that it comes in and it does come with a set of instructions attached to the bag, which I think that we need to look at first yeah yeah I might need you. Okay, no I will say normally before I would put up a 10.

I would go ahead and lay down another tarp on the ground, just to provide an extra layer between the ground and your tent. But we don’t have a tarp right now and we’re definitely not going to the store for one so and you’re supposed to put a pin up on level ground. Our backyard is not exactly level so we’re just gonna do the best that we can we’re putting it up in the most lonely spot.

We can you get the instructions jammed up right, the hub assembly at the top unfold, the arms downward until they lay flat. Oh okay, okay, I! Guess: let’s do that! First y’all: should we figure out what time and see how long it actually takes us? To put it up, probably wouldn’t be a bad idea. All right, let me get my clock going so I can time this.

Let me untie this because this is okay, not acting apart. So we’re gonna time this. You see how long it takes us to put it up for the first time. Okay! Well, that’s what they need to see. Okay, all right! So we’re gonna start now, so she stands up and then lay the arms flat. Okay, let’s start and then raise the hub. Just posting shadow plat a whole thing.

This one coming the hub has got to lay down. Yes, there’s a lid. Well, bones are matrices, then I think he’s after you play the points out you’re supposed to pull up on me he’s in the top close enough, and now you raise the middle back to the instructions. Unfollowed the arm joints and the corners is hint okay, I’m photo and then pull, and it’s a lot of pop up in ya on the exam via.

Oh, no coupler is go not so bad. Actually, it’s quicker than you can put up when I was no kidding. Yes, the text backwards, so they can’t see the outside of it. Yes, okay, let’s move it around hold on hold on the tent is actually up, though, and it was Wow. It took us a minute and 47 seconds. That’s because we had to figure out what we were doing so that we could get up in about six seconds next time.

Yeah. This is cool. We’re gonna spin around he’s, spread apart steaks, it’s cool, guys, okay, I guess to get it tight, put a stake in one of these I think in to tighten it up. I think you do those actually feeders you stake down. Let’s see oh, and this does not come with a rain fly. You have to order that separately for the four person tent I.

Think it’s like 27 to 30 dollars on Amazon, okay, okay, yeah, you put the stakes in and then okay, let me do the opposite. Quarter hang on I’ll! Do that one this port tire! If you can yeah there, you go mine’s not going down all the way so try to cut to your first pick up hitting a rock in time. Is it that’s? Not so bad I got these things talking about alright we’re gonna check out the inside.

Now we don’t have the guylines tied down, but this is stake down. Really nice I mean I can stand up. Pretty good I mean yeah. Matt is a 6-1 6-1 yeah. This isn’t. This is taller than anything I’ve been in. Okay, look I like that! We’ve got pockets here for iPhone and there’s a clip up top, so you could hang a lantern in there, but usually okay.

This is the trick about Tim’s. If it says two-person it’s one person, it misses four people. It’s two people comfortably. We wanted four persons, so it could be us in the dog and she’s never been in an attempt. Come here. Monkey come here. Come here, I didn’t know how she would do some dogs, don’t like the sound of the tent on the bottom of their feet.

I think she’ll be okay, she’ll, be a happy monkey. Actually pretty good I know it’s pretty tall. It’s really small like that baby. No, it’s falling yeah, it’s like because we got the double one, pretty good. It’s not well sleeping around yeah, it’s not too bad you’re, a good girl. We got plenty of blankets, yeah I, don’t actually there’s a well.

It looks like a little pocket right here, but then, when you look at the outside, it’s actually open out here. So I, don’t know what that’s about! Maybe I don’t know, but here’s the okay. So these are the windows. They’re really really a nice size, the zippers or nice. Did you look out the window? Did you get to look out the window for coffee? These are really good size, windows and then you’ve got the windows right here in the front.

So you can have two, that’s hug, that’s how you shut the door and just on that side on the bottom, two and then open up your window and let’s see how much I mean this there’s a lot of good screen in here. This is actually really nice. There is no window on the back, so you do have some privacy. If you want but look look at this. This is really a lot.

I have a very happy monkey. I’m, really surprised that she’s like okay. This is all I. Think she’s good, because we’re in here thank you. Well, I was gonna. Leave it unzip. You can go out front and look at it from out front. Oh you all right, maybe I’ll! Let it that out. Okay, hi I, like it -, it really did go up super fast, oh gosh, yeah! When I was a kid, we had the old heavy canvas, we have to figure out all the different size rods and put them nowadays the rod ones they still they come attached.

In the old days, you had to figure out what size went to what you had to fit them together. This is awesome. Okay, I’ve seen tent reviews for this online. That’s how we decided that this is the one that we want, but I’ve never actually seen somebody really camping them. They just put them up, and so we’re actually going to spend the night and have a camping night in our backyard tonight.

So tomorrow, I will let you know how it slept, how it functioned as an actual tent. So we’ll come back in the morning and it is home an instant in this is awesome, yeah, not sponsored by the way that is really freaking cool love. It I’m excited okay, so I have decided to film this because we’re going to put an air mattress in here now this is a queen-size, but the reason why I decided to film it is because this is one of those extra deep mattresses.

So it’s really high once you blow it up and we’re wondering if it’s actually going to fit in here or if it’s going to push against the sides now it would definitely push against the sides if we did it north to south this way, but by going east to west. This is the widest part of the tent, so we’re hoping that once it blows up that it’ll fit without pushing into the side, so we’re gonna, see and I will show you that way.

You’ll have an idea of an air mattress that will or will not fit. I should find this hello. It would take the video up. Huh I must be the video up. If you want to change baby, all I’ll pump it up for a little bit. Alright. So now I’m going to show you how a extra tall queen mattress fits and obviously blow it up inside the tent yeah. But it’s not push I mean there is room.

We’ve got this much space in the 20, so it’s not it’s not pushing on the edges at all, and it’s not on this side. Either you get up here and see. There’s a handwritten gap in here so since you’re, the tallest, why don’t you sit in the middle? We’ll show the head ring? Oh my god. I got oh yeah, oh there’s more than enough room. That’s that’s plenty of highway yeah! Oh yeah, you’re 6:1! This is perfect.

Your feet are on the edge of the tip you. Can you not touch anyway? Even if I was laying on the ground, my feet are: gonna touch, yeah he’s really yeah. This is fine. This is actually really good. Come here, ninny market come on monkey. There you go huh, it was this nice. This is nice. Actually, this is actually thank. You I, look forward to sleeping in here tonight.

Hey dude, I think this is gonna, be a lot of fun. It is one thing that I do want to tell you is because the length of the bathtub floor comes up so high. This is what’s called a bathtub floor, because this comes up so high Matt. His trip to getting out of it and I have tripped getting out of it. But I. Don’t think about things like that because, like I said the last time I slept in a tent, it was an old-fashioned con and you just walk out.

They didn’t have all this cool stuff, so just be aware of how you step out of the tent, while I’m thinking about it. I do want to show you something that I love about this. Oh no, it already got bird poo on it. Oh no, okay, one of the things that I love is when we were zipping this up. It’s got this nice flap that hangs down so that all of the zippers are taken care of and, like I said this stuff that names us last time, I camped.

There was all it’s been a long time and uh, so it covers up all the way down here and then at the bottom, because it zips this way and ends right here and then the bottom one goes across right here to that corner, and it also has its own separate flap to keep it covered up, and that’s just another extra protection against the rain. So I think that if it’s just a normal rainy night, you don’t need a rain fly, but if you’re gonna be camping, where it’s obviously all oh man, the bird got it.

If you got me camping to where the wind and rain is really bad, I think that’s when you need probably need of rain, fly just for a little extra protection, but we’re not expecting rain tonight and we probably will never camp in the rain unless we have a surprise, pop-up rainstorm, which does happen in the south, but overall right now I’m extremely pleased and cannot wait.

Hi hi I know you approve so I I can’t wait to camp on this tonight. There’s burnt, Edinburgh’s, Gottwald, yeah, I, think I know we need these two ties. Yes, we are going to see how quickly we can get this down all right. Then we walk it in like that. Like the other day, I don’t know these bent down: oh yeah holy cow. That was quick yeah. That was really quick, shuffle beginning it dipped up into countless.

Well that’s what these are yeah get in there, no okay, so Berdych! It’s not that bad putting back up it’s kind of like you know how, once you take a Christmas tree out of the box, it’s never going back in the same wine. It’s kind of like that. The ties I think my one complaint is these ties that wrapped around it? When we first got another box, they should have like velcro on them and I actually think I might get velcro and put velcro on the end.

So that way, it’ll be easy to like wrap around cuz. You tie a knot, it’ll be easy to wrap around and just fell prone, but the temper formed beautifully I I love it. Actually we like it so much now are now my brother-in-law wants one. So the tent I have zero complaint. Well, the only thing it’s not a complaint. The only thing I personally would have changed is at each end of the tent, where you have the little pockets where you can put your phone and stuff I.

Guess that’s fine if you’re laying down in a sleeping bag, but we had that high mattress and with the high mattress it covered up those ends, and so it was a little awkward for him to reach back and get his phone down in there and then, like you, wouldn’t be able to see if it lit up with a message or anything like that, and what I would have done is on the corners.

I would have put like a couple mesh pockets just on the corners because, where I was at it would have been easy for me to roll over drop it into that pocket, and then it would be facing me and I could see if it lit up. No, but again, that’s because we have the extra tall queen blow-up mattress. If you were in a regular mattress that was not as high or if you were just in sleeping bags, that wouldn’t be an issue at all, but for the high mattress I would have liked to have a pocket up on the corners, but other than that I mean that’s the only thing that I would do to improve it.

But that’s because of how we are gonna use, the tent other people will use it differently and may find things convenient or inconvenient for them, but I mean the tent itself was amazing and no bugs which I was so glad, because I’m always worried about a spider sneaking into the tent. But we didn’t have any issues like that and it was amazing we had plenty of more than enough ventilation.

We kept the windows down all night. You know it probably would have helped if we would have zipped up those windows too I don’t know as if I’m up to ten up or how to do that next time. So, hopefully we didn’t tear any of the own up from that I hope not. But that is our overnight review for the coleman, instant cabin four-person 8×7. It didn’t rain.

We had 20% chance, but it didn’t so we got lucky, but so I have no experience of it in the rain, I’m sure it’s okay, we’re gonna, go ahead and order a rain fly on Amazon, just in case this summer, when things get back to normal. When we go out camping, just in case we have a popcorn shower. So that’s it! That’s our review and thanks for watching I, really appreciate it.

Give me a thumbs up and go to Amazon and I’m, not sponsored by Coleman at all, not sponsored my amazon or anything that go to Amazon and find you an instant. It’s an awesome, tent and I’ll. See you next time, bye.

Hi guys today we are reviewing the insta cabin, the Coleman, it’s a weather tech, and it is a really nice cat here and you can see, there’s the tent and there is my son John, and he is about 510 and go ahead and step in there Johnny. It is a really cool, tent they’ve been camping in this thing for three or four days now, and you can will come in here and it is a really roomy tent and they have a what is that a double or air mattress you’re clean? It’s a full, you could probably fit two queens in here.

It says, has a hook for the lantern. It has air vents on the top that you can prop up. If you want Hector or you can just have velcro and plop them right down cool and it also as a custom rain fly, but don’t have that right now, it’s a pretty warm out all the windows and the doors have nets and mesh on. Oh, so you diplom for windows and extra airflow. There is also extra tie-downs, just in case there’s a big storm or something it’s just. A really good tent, it’s perfect for two people.

You know that just comfortably run around in and it’s just a great tent, it’s the quick pop-up. And how long does it take you John, there’s a it says, 60 seconds it took us, maybe a minute I’m getting popped up, not including staking down all right so yeah, that’s that’s great, especially when you’re coming in at night and couldn’t have picked a better camping spot here, Coleman into the tent six person 10 by 9 yeah. That’s a great spot! We’ll come back here and you can see the where we’re camping here.

Just great you got big old mountain up there, all right, well, Coleman, Institute, all right, the Coleman, instant tent. This thing is really cool and John really seems like it. Huh great-aunt plenty of space, good airflow,.

You never know when these things might go on sale. You.

Tent I got it in green and I’ve already got it set up here. It has five poles total. There are two that form an X that set the main dome and then there’s one on each end to hold up the top of the sides and then there’s one: that’s holding up the rain fly right here over the door. The sides require stakes to hold out the bottom.

It doesn’t stay up on its own without stakes. If you don’t stake down the corners, this pole is gonna fall in so, if you’re, in a place where it’s rocky or really hard ground, you’re not gonna, be able to set up this tent. Unless you can got some real good stakes, and you cannot set this up on concrete or anything that you can’t stake it down in, because your sides are gonna fall in the only alternative.

Well is the rain fly, has some little loops here for the guylines and you could tie it to a tree or something, and there might be enough to hold it out a little bit, there’s nothing in it right now. So a little bit. It’s got these ventilation. Flaps on each side, one on each end, I’ve never had a tent with those before so I’m kind of excited to see if they help with condensation and keeping it cool in there you’ve got a window one on each end and the door.

That’s all there is not a window on the back, but the mesh comes halfway down the tent, so you could always I notice that if you undo this on the rain fly and use this loop, you could stake it out and you can get some pretty good ventilation under there in the back. Probably- and I probably will stake this out anyway, because when it’s connected it pulls the tent out and they’ll help.

Keep your back wall a little sturdier. The rain fly has good coverage. It connects each pole and then right here in the back. So two in the back two on this side, two on that side, one in the middle and then you’ve got two right here and two right there. So you got this nice little canopy I! Guess you can call it over the door.

It’s not super deep, just like maybe a foot, it gives you a little bit of protection. You can unzip your door a little bit and not worry about getting too wet. There’s a Velcro clasp here this tent is really roomy. It’s pretty tall ceiling. I forget what the height is to check the specifications, but as you can see, it’s pretty tall here on the ends as well.

Right now, the camera is being held at five, eight five feet, eight inches and here’s where I run into it and I’m this close to the edge. So there is plenty of room for a queen air mattress there plenty of room for a clean air mattress there, and then you have all the space in the middle. It comes out more. The back.

It’s not complete. The front is straight and then the back comes out. Some take a little bit of extra room there. Here’s where you can see, let’s talk about the mesh, comes halfway down the tent in the back. So even though there’s not a window in the back, you could open up. The rain fly a little bit or stake it out and get some ventilation.

The windows have a zip on each side and a Velcro in the middle, and then you can roll it up and there’s the tabs there to hold it together. You’ve got a loop here in the middle, so you can hang a light from it. There are no other loops or pockets inside the only other ones hold up the door. The doors got a typical window screen.

There does ever seem really good quality. They I’m not worried about them. Giving out anytime soon I did notice. You can see those little holes there by the seam. It’s pretty consistent around the tent, so I might have to do some seam sealing I’ve, never done that before on my tents and I’ve never really had an issue with it that I’ve been able to notice, but I might have to do that on this tent.

It does not have a bucket floor. It’s got a seam right here at the bottom for the floor. It’s kind of deceiving from the outside cuz. It’s got a black strip here, so it makes you think that it’s, but it’s not there’s a scene here um. This is your. What do you call it power pocket for a power extension cord, and is this so that’s nice that you can close it keep bugs out when you’re not using it, and you can zip it tight onto the cord to help with that.

The top of the tent at first I thought I had it set up wrong. It’s like off-center, like the center of the poles where they cross, is here. It’s not here at the top, so I thought I had it set up wrong, but I think it’s supposed to be that way. It makes the back of the tent a little bit taller. I guess I, set this up by myself and I had a little bit of trouble at first figuring out the best way to do it, because the poles are so long, but I was able to do it.

I just took my time. I put in you have to stake down the tent first and then I put in one of these big poles. Well, I ran both of them through the through the loops and then I put in one pole, but it was laying down sideways. So it went like this on the ground and then I did the second one and it pulled it up. So don’t try to do it to where arches upwards, when you’re putting the first pole in if you can’t do it, you’re gonna have to do it on its side and then, when you put it in the second pole, it’ll pull the first pull up with it.

So it seems like a good quality tent as far as materials, with the exception of the seams might need a little bit of help and I. Don’t know if that’s all tent, all of the tents or if it’s just mine is like that. But anyway, it’s definitely roomy so I’m looking forward to using it.

Using- and it says it was a four person tent, but it’s only good for me and my dad to person. So we got a new tent right here and we’re gonna unbox this and set it up. Like you said, it’s a bundle deal so I came with the two air mattresses and this is unboxing and it would be a first time setup. This is a person Carrington Wow.

It’s one person having to bring lose flip man, it’s 20 by 10 feet, sleeps 12, Center height is 8, probably another box. This is what we’re gonna put it back in Oh key to the camera cut off for me, but this is our final setup. Without the rain fly, so I’m gonna show you real quick. A little walk around. Let’s go inside I got the room dividers up as you can see, so we got one room, this room one, and this is another room.

Alright, so like I said it came in a bundle that with the tent and this R is the two mattresses he came with it’s just the full-size blow-up mattress, pretty standard and the two chairs also pretty standard basic. As you can see, but on I’ll let the kids have the chairs and the mattress of course, I’m gonna need some heavy-duty stuff, especially chair yeah, okay, so I’ll plan.

Further inspection I found that the awning actually does stick up in the air like I. Had it actually pins down to this it hurts a little. You see that and I was wondering. Why did they have that one this tender, but for the pole- and you put your guideline outwards and tighten them up and you have all of this every week.

Don’t you see it, but my gun line is here and the other one is over there. But now, when I, walk in I do have to duck a little, but not much, but soon as I get inside the tent I can stand back up again pretty satisfied with this. So the other side, you see it doesn’t get by that time you beat the the bed so yeah.

So this is been an easy setup. Pop-Up tent drill, 12-person tent next video we make, will be in the woods on land, so yeah. Thank you. Thanks for watching.

Improved ten person, cabin tank all inside one convenient carry case, you will find a tent rain fly, collapsible pole, stakes to room dividers, a mud, mat and immediately to set up this large cabin tent start by finding a nice flat, surface, clear up debris and laying the tent out flat next using the tent stakes provided, take out the corners of the tent that secure it into place.

Now, let’s assemble our collapsible centrioles. These will be used to top the tent up and give it its shape. Now, let’s take our tent poles and feed them through the sleeves located at the top of the vent. Once all the tent poles are in place, we can begin the pop up our tent, starting with the poles in the center of the tent, bring them down and in toward the tent, for these will connect with the small ring images.

There are also small plastic clips on the tent wall. These will connect to the tent poles that help secure it into place. Another pole will be added above the doorway. This will slide through a sleeve located just above the screen. These poles will also connect to a small ringing pin, as well as a few plastic clips, to help hold it in place and, finally, sticking out the bottom of the string room will help secure it as well as give it its shape.

Now that our ten person cabin sentence up- let’s add the rain flood starting from one end of the tent pull the rain fly up and over the roof. This will secure to the tent other straps will simply connected a theme during intensity, as well as adding velcro tabs to secure the fly to the textbook, and now we can add our last brimful just over the rear entrance.

Look. You will also find inside two large room: dividers for added privacy, a large mud mat outside the front door to wipe your feet and also an electric cord accent. This will make recharging those devices much easier and now you’re ready to get out there and enjoy the new and improved 10 person cabin tent by Ozark Trail.

You.

Here’s a quick review of the 10 person, instant cabin tent made by Ozark Trail Walmart. Surprisingly, a lot fits in a small package. Speaking of size, I have a family of four, and my wife and I have a queen-size air mattress. My son slept on a just a standard air mattress and my daughter had a travel crib and we all comfortably fit in the tent with plenty of space.

So that gives you an idea of size here it is my backyard. Winds are probably 15 20 miles an hour and probably like 10 to 20 miles an hour holds up surprisingly well a lot of windows, that’s probably in part because it needs to have lots of windows to accommodate a lot of wall for the tent, but so breeze passes through, but it holds up pretty well yeah I, no complaints about this part of it very breezy good for the summer.

I think it has two air conditioning ports. This is one side um. It also doubles as like an extra ventilation port. So that’s kind of nice I wish it did closed fully to keep water from coming in kind of, but um you’d have to have a lot of water, big windows, doors, I should say these are the doors, it’s not a it’s two doors and it zips kind of down like so and then the other one zips over on the side to kind of form a door so I kind of like it.

What it’s one solid zipper I, don’t like the two zippers, but this is how it is and that’s the worst complaint I guess I have of the tent I, don’t like the zipper system unless it tends taut it’s kind of hard to kind of zip it up tight. So it’s kind of a nice seal. It’s a small complaint, double doors because it does come with the room divider which I don’t have in so this way you have a room, a door from each room which is kind of silly for the whole 10 thing it’s not like you can, you know, have lots of privacy in each room.

That’d be kind of disgusting if, but but it does separate the 10th I guess there’s this little netting here, so you can put stuff in it also comes with another additional net. That I’ll show you in a sec kind of pointless, but anyway, lots of ventilation again, there’s a mechanism that everything kind of connects to kind of hard to get a good shot of it, but um at least from this angle, but we’ll see as dur.

Far as durability goes in this couple pieces he was like I think they call it a map pocket. It’s not really clear where this is supposed to hang in the tent I think it hangs like on the left side on the smaller wall, but I, don’t know it’s just a pain in the butt. You can see all the cords I’m not even going to take this with me problems, I Honey, Co camping, it’s just kind of pointless, there’s enough pockets yeah what else the floors I wish! It was a little bit more durable of a construction.

It’s fairly thin, I, don’t think it’s going to last a long time the floor and they even figured that too I think is Ozark Trail. They throw you in a couple of floor patches, so they figure it’s going to probably not last again. Here’s the air conditioning port, it’s about an inch and a half to two and a half inches of a kind of a wall there.

It’s not too bad. The seams are factory sealed whether that’s going to be sufficient. I, don’t know we’ll see. I probably will end up putting my own seam sealer down, but that’s how it comes so I think it’s fine windows are kind of slick I like that they kind of stuff into themselves, so it sips up. You can even set up half and we’ve one half unzipped, which is kind of neat and zipped up.

It does a good job. It’s nice and private, it’s pretty taut, and if you want to unzip it again, you can do half and leave one up or just do them both down good literally, do them one-handed and there’s enough room. You can easily stuff it in there and even other things if you wanted to, but it’s basically a place to put through window, so you don’t have to kind of tie it up.

I like that it just stuffs in there. That’s a smart idea, so close up of the netting decent netting, it’s kind of bigger, but um. It seems like it’s thick and durable. Here’s the e port. The electronic Fork, wasn’t really clear to me in any of the pictures of videos that this was velcroed. I thought it was just open, so I was concerned bugs we’re going to get in or water or whatever, but no way I mean I can barely even on velcro.

This thing it’s a light, velcro seal, so I think I, think I, sealed it up properly, but yeah I, don’t I, don’t have any problems with bugs or anything coming in with this, it’s a they really put a beefy velcro on here, but you’ve got a place you can put in air conditioning or whatever power cords here it is with the fly on, but with the windows open, I, really like the color.

It’s a pretty cool nice breeze. Here’s on the inside this is actually the morning the following morning and sleeping in the tent with the family, so I’m not painting down, so they have their privacy, but this is the inside. So you can see it fully. Zipped up with the fly on quite private. It actually got a little toasty in there being all zipped up with all the people in there breathing rolling the windows down instantly, put a nice breeze in the tent, so uh, and even with our win, because we in a pretty windy area, it wasn’t too bad so I far as my review goes, I really like it, it’s a little heavy, but I would expect that to be.

It seems durable for the price. I think you can’t go wrong.

Do a little camping this weekend since technically, none of the campgrounds are open, the established campgrounds, but the primitive campground some of them are open. Of course you have no amenities, no bathroom or anything of that nature, but just want to give you a quick look at our tent. We bought for this trip. I had the seven-person TPT it, but he just it was hard to get two queen mattresses in that my daughter and my wife, sleep on one I, usually sleep on the other, but this is our Ozark Trail – in person, cabin tent.

It’s got a nice little vestibule on it here. Rain fly the whole top is open mesh. If it’s hot weather, we laid a blue tarp out here for under the the porch, but as you can see, it’s quite spacious, I’m standing up here in the end there’s one queen-size mattress and then you have all the space in the middle there’s, probably about 7 foot between the mattresses and that mattress could go on back about another foot or so so you probably got 7 to 8.

Foot between the two mattresses gives us plenty of room to start, bringing the bring arms and chairs in here and set and have a little seating area, and it does have a little vestibule. There keep some of your gear dry hook up here for your light or whatever it does have a rear door. Like I said the whole top is mesh, so in hot weather you could take this whole thing off and and sleep pretty much under the stars. But that is a quick look at our hos art trail 10 person to room they call it.

It does have a divider that you can hang to separate the rooms, of course we’re car camping. So we bring in pretty much everything but the kitchen sink, but a quick look at our our camp area. That’s where we’re going to be building our fire right there and our fire rate I’m gonna be setting up the camp kitchen right over here. Somebody in the past has built some shelves over there so and just a nice little spot kind of sits back off the road to itself.

Nobody can get in on you just a nice area to be so. That’s a look at our tent we’d. Never set it up before, so we did struggle with it a little bit but overall one bad, so appreciate. Y’all watching and just a quick pic, a quick pic I should say I’m an outdoor weekend. We may stay 4 or 5 days. We haven’t decided yet so give me a thumbs up like the video and we’ll see you next time.

Family trips or weekends, with friends as it sleeps up to ten people comfortably to begin, lay the tent out floor side down first run. The shorter fiberglass poles through the sleeves of the top of the tent then connect the shorter metal poles along each side. Giving the tent structure be sure you use the correct end of the joint connectors there’s a skinny end for the fiberglass poles and a wider end for the metal pole.

Have someone get inside the tent and help push up the interior? Now the main body returned is standing. You can move to each side section of the tent grab the longer fiberglass poles and thread them through the side. Please, with the help from a friend, you can drape the waterproof fly over the tent and connect each corner, be sure to secure all stakes to anchor your tent to the ground.

Now you’re ready for your campout.

Okay, so this is the Ozark Trail foot by 20 foot footprint. They claim it is a two-minute instant setup I’m going to attempt to do it by myself with the assistance quote-unquote of my children, yeah you, you is not two minutes for one person I’ll do that alright! So here’s the 12 person, Ozark Trail, dark rest, 10 foot by 20 foot, and this thing is pretty big guys. I mean I’m telling you I do not recommend setting it up by yourself because it is a bear to do it can be done.

Took me 15 minutes, I’ll, probably do it quicker by myself, but uh. So, let’s check this out. So it’s pretty good-sized with a lots of Windows that roll all the way down. That’s all the way down, again lots and lots of windows alright. So here we are with all the windows opened up and, like I said it’s very roomy, very spacious, so at night, you’re going to have a great view of the Stars and I will shut everything up and I will be back in a minute.

So here we are with the the rainfly up and of course there is a little bit of light that comes in, but for the most part this is a dark tent and normally the Sun would just be blaring in and be very bright and hard to sleep. But I think this would be well so there’s a little bit and that that light that you can see that’s a clear plastic, so the rain won’t come through and get you wet. So all in all I’m pretty impressed I, don’t see any holes anywhere.

It looks to be well made. Oh, it looks like we got a little a little hole there, but I don’t know if I want to send it back to that so hurry around the outside and my son is poking where the hole was hope. Is this it right here yeah and there’s no hole there, so it just must be able to white spot or somewhere, where lights coming through. But here’s what it looks like with the with the rain fly on. That’s quite nice. All in all I’m impressed with the tent and I can’t wait to use it.

Tent three room full person and it’s something: I just purchased at Walmart a couple weeks ago for two hundred and twenty nine dollars and looks like it’s a great tenth of them researching tents for a while, and there was actually one that was bigger than this twenty five foot by ten ten play. I was like trail but I after I got it I realized that not many camping sites can accommodate a 25 foot by 10 foot.

Ten, so I would have a hard time trying to find a spot to camp and so I downsize to this size, which he’ll still should do the job so going on a camping trip in a cup of which and the daughters and we’re gonna we’re gonna test it out. So it looks like and I’ll show you what looks like after I put it together and there it is so. This is something I was able to put up by myself.

I’m a sent six foot three inch tall and I was able to put this up by myself. I did have to have some help with my wife on the rain fly and it we were able to put that on I tried to put it on myself and I. Couldn’t do it so I had to have some help with that I’ll give a walk around here. Let’s you take a look at the tent here: here’s the front side with a little front, porch area, it’s a nice big, tint I- think we’ll have plenty room.

There’s the back side. This back side has a door that still you can get in through it. If you need to it’s like a back door, so that’s kind of a nice feature use the other side in this front side. Here one of the one of the downsides to this front. Entranceway is this awning there’s no way to go, there’s a way you can. You have to shut the awning in order to close up the tent so at night, when you’re in for the night, you can’t leave it up because it’s a screen door and you won’t be totally to have enclosed privacy unless you shut it.

So you have to take that down and zip it up in order to close up. So that’s a down. That’s a one of the features I don’t like, but could work in in the case where you know exit and enter on the other side. Let’s go inside tickler, so here’s the front door and, as you can tell it’s screen, so the only way to close this and make it private is by closing this overhang, which I’m standing under right now.

It does have a little hook for a light which is kind of cool. What’s going side here, this front room is that, obviously, to the living room and nice size? It’s pretty good, we’ll probably put a card table in here and some chairs and have a little game room in here, probably some chairs. Just over here on one side, you got room dividers I’ve got my queen sized air mattress in here and got pockets on the window there.

All these windows zipped down so there’s excellent air flow in here on the other side and it’s a room that I’ve got two twin size cots in with a little room in between. So these are my daughter’s will sleep over here. So what’s the same exact room with windows on all four sides: everything’s, so that’s one room and the living room in the other room, so three room temp.

Definitely a good-looking, tent and I’m anxious to use it so hope. This information helps you.

Under review on the Ozark, Trail I think it’s a 10-man three room tent for sure three room. 10 is 20 feet, long -. Let me feet wide at the widest point. This is actually the door that you can put up as a shelter. We just got back from the mountains, Smoky Mountains National Park cat for a week in it it did absolutely great. We got rained on I think three times total counting the night rain. It stay completely dry.

Just have any issues I’ve kept in tents before when the rain would run under the tent or around around the floor and the things inside them get wet or it’ll leak. I did not waterproof this tent. We bought it about a week or so before we actually went camping, put it straight up and it actually is one huge room and it has a couple partitions, not much tool. It will give a little bit of privacy. Here you have is called an at4 I use that one time had an iPad going for one box, little kids, so they can watch a door run a drop cord through that.

That’s actually pretty handy. This little door right here this is uh. It’s pretty awesome, stick your shoes in there and you got some room here. I actually put some green indoor/outdoor carpet out in the front of the tent, which allowed me to was able to stick our shoes through there, keep bugs and things out of them during the night and did not take the dirt in the tent with us cause. Isn’t that was oh. These are actually bent if you stake them out, it’s pretty cool in the mountains, so we didn’t.

We didn’t need the vents, but if you stake them out, it’s actually vented through there’s one on or this tool in front. That’s two on the back. It has two windows on the front when Tony, Chen and I think it has three windows on the back. We actually only use with one big window on the back. It doesn’t have this D shaped door as the screen door here zips. This is right out, actually put the tent up, so we could dry it out before we stored it wanting to air it out and dry it out after camping all week and boy.

We had it up. He came from him shower, so it’s to us to drive. This half closes up. It’s pretty secure. Let this down please pop down and that will just lay down, has a zipper on both sides and thank you pretty nice I kept it up like this all week, I was in at night. Otherwise the doors just kind of in the way, but through rainfly take the rainfall the whole top is netted. So you definitely could not sleep like that in around right.

Here’s a couple little openings and actually stake it down. We didn’t stake it down this time. Your stake it down out there. These openings are so that water can, if it gets on this area, it’ll go on through and it won’t hold water right there against the tent go inside drop my shoes off. So we’ve already sweat this out. It’s really a huge tent. These partitions just hook there and hook at the bottom, so like I said it does add a little privacy, but it’s not not a lot.

Take the partitions down and we pretty much kept it like this. The whole time, one whole big, open area, you’ll see Jessie my sons on one side tent at the wall and I’m on the other. I can’t stand up right here: I guess we shorts good, but uh I’m, five foot, eight I can’t stand up there, but I went in first, never did really need to. We had a pact and play right here for the baby. My little girls had a double mattress right here: side way to send a packet plate.

They slept there. So there’s three on this side: the open area. Here we had a three foot by five foot table for the table. We kept all of our suitcases and clothes under it and on top of it this was all open and then, on that end we had a queen mattress winds about two foot high, a big thick air, mattress, there’s little pockets, pretty handy big enough for cell phones, change whatever’s in your pockets. There’s one on the front here and one on the back on the other side.

Really big window here, I was rolling. There’s only one big window on the back. I didn’t really pay attention earlier this week, I guess one big window on the back a window on each end, two windows on the front. If you look like I said the whole top is mesh, so you have to have a rain fly, but it did not leak whatsoever it and it raining pretty hard. This little thing here, you have to remember, there’s a tight above when you’re putting tent post in so when you put those in.

If you tie that, then that helps to support this on those post. I wouldn’t put a lot of weight, but I had a Ryobi fan ran off of with us real battery and I was able to hang your head a little hook on it. We hung it there and swivel around held fine. This is strong enough to hold a good bit away, but anyway it is 11 feet at the widest point and 20 feet long plenty of room. We had a family of five in it three little ones on one end and two ducks on the other and there’s enough room in the middle for another queen bed.

If I won today’s beat you do that speak comfortable spot sides. Isn’t anything don’t think so we these poles here rain, fly next there, but the it’s pretty pretty neat is pretty simple: I’m not going to take it apart, but the top pole goes into one end: the metal pole, the upright pole goes in the other, and then it connects right here has four of these two of the fiberglass across the top and then one fiberglass on each end.

Here for the arch, we put it up my son and I in about 15 minutes. The only thing we did not do was stake down the rain fly. Everything else is now I’ve been stating down the rainfly and didn’t put the two sexes there anyway. My review is it’s a really really good team plenty of room playing room, stand up, you’re going to have a mattress on each end. There’s no room to stand up there anyway, so check out my other videos thanks.

Before or eight one person backpacking, which is what I call a external pitch I, don’t know if they call it external pitch. This is a tent where the poles are on the outside. So that way you don’t have an inner tent and an outer tent they’re all connected, and then you just pitch the tent like this and it wrecks the whole tent at the same time.

So this is the Ozark Trail one person, backpacking I, bought this off the shelf at my local Walmart for $24. So there are no guy out lines, except for the one right there, which is the kind of a roof vent. I guess I do like the colors, it’s fiberglass poles. The main pole is a little bit bigger diameter, that’s probably around a 7 or 8, maybe a 6, the ridge pole, which helps extend the head and the sides is a smaller diameter pole so other than that one guy out.

That’s it. We do have decent size, metal stakes and then they do give you plenty of steaks. There were two four six, eight steaks, so four corners and then I put an extra steak right here where the pole goes, and it’s just an opening in the end of the pole and then a spike on that ring. It goes into the pole, so I added extra steak there. You got a steak here for the door, the vestibule and then the other stick right.

There no guidelines, no guy outs, the only one is, but when you see back here so that could probably a little trouble troublesome as these storms start coming in. But you know it is what it is. So, as you see the wind now, it’s about 15 to 18 miles an hour that tent is flexing pretty good. You see those poles flexing now this tent we’re gonna.

This video here is about the Ozark Trail tent, okay, but this tent is also part of another video. That’s gonna, be where this tent is competing with a name-brand Jack Wolfskin. This is the XO light one person- okay, I’ve already have a video on this tent, so we’re gonna leave that up at the top, a link for you to click on. If you want to see details about this tent, so these two tents are gonna, go up against each other and a line of storms all right for the next five days we have storms could be severe high winds.

Maybe some hail lots of lightning lots of thunder who knows might spin up a funnel cloud or two? Maybe you never know we’re in the central part of Texas, just outside of Fort Worth Dallas area. This place is known for lots of weather. Well, that’s a severe weather, especially this time of year, springtime spring is sprung. Look at all the grass is green.

All right. Let’s get some measurements of the tent here inside so y’all ready tell this is the wind or tent and it does have a vestibule and it’s full coverage. Now this is a kind of a hybrid tent, so there’s no mesh body and then rain fly. The mesh has been sewn in with the main part of the tent, so there’s just one tent structure, there’s nothing wrong with that.

A lot of name-brand tents are starting to make the hybrid tinsel in that manner. So that’s not the issue. The issue is: is this tent gonna protect you against? What’s coming all the storms, they get a good sized door. So that’s not too bad nice mesh door. I’m gonna get some measurements in here real quick, and then we will show you the inside of this tent I hope.

You can see me here. We’re gonna do the length of the tent all right. We’re are 89 inches long. This one is 36 inches wide, so you get three feet of width. That’s a nice width on this tent. Okay, we’re at 38 inch peak height. So here’s a look inside the vestibule. It’s not huge, but it’s big enough to put your pack, maybe your boots. Let me get situated here, I’m going to close this vestibule door, so we can get a alright there.

We go so we’re a size. 12 shoe I’m, not gonna, take them off, but you can kind of see they’re dropping us intent. It goes bad foot in half, so you know that’s not too bad for a single person dad alright. So, like I said it’s just single wall tent and it’s just the hybrid style where you have the integrated mesh door. This does not look like no-see-um mesh that meshes pre pretty wide gaps there.

You might be able to get sand fleas, maybe some mites and things like that might be able to get through that. Okay, so the wind is blowing in it’s really pushing it in this backside. There is no pole structure. You know coming out this way to hold that tent out alright. So we just have that one pole and in that ridge pole, so we’ve got a little gear loop here or lanterns.

Whatever you want to do here is the mesh window. There’s the mesh window. Now these seams are taped heat taped seams all throughout the tent I’ve, never seen that on an Ozark troll tent before especially one that was sold on the shelf in a Walmart. All right, you get a weird-looking little pocket there interesting, so you do have reinforcements there, where the tie out point is well the anchor point and where the pole goes into, and then additionally, if we can push this out, there’s extra material on the corners.

All four corners look at the side here: okay, so there’s plenty of room in this tent. That’s not the issue. When it comes to this particular town. The issue is I mean I’m sitting in here in the center right now, and the back of the tent is right on my back, the tent. The pole structure does not hold the tent out. It needed another anchor point on the outside to stake in the ground right there.

That would have helped a lot in maintaining form with this tent with winds. Okay, now to be fair, the company, Ozark Trail, does not recommend that you use these tents in any kind of storm light conditions. So why did they tape sill the seams? If you know they don’t want this to be in any storms, I guess maybe a light rain, maybe the light rain.

You.

This allows the tent to function as one two, three or even four separate rooms, each with its own separate exit entry door, twelve extra large windows and four doors, maximize ventilation and visibility. Access for an electrical cord base camp is an easy setup with one or two people: remove the tent from the zippered, carry bag and unroll and extend to its full 20 by 20 size use. The yellow stakes provided and secure all eight corners next thread: the fiberglass poles through their respective sleeves and connect to the plastic corner, elbows complete the center section. First, then, the side room poles raise the center section and set the four steel up rates in the corner.

Elbows then set each pole on the pin at the base. Next set the four side room uprights cover the tent with the fly matching. The green fabric strip with the front then fasten the shot cord to the eight steel uprights for windy conditions, use the eight stabilizing guy ropes attached to the corners of the fly, use eight yellow stakes and adjust the sliders to tighten. You.

Here, I’m going to set up the Ozark Trail video but I the actual set up, but it’s actually fairly easy in one person could do it? Alright. First thing: you do spread out the tent it’s 20 by 10, then I’m going to stake down these four corners. Okay, next, you have a you have two sets of these are going to be your Center you get across to get an across on their cross, pose on your roof. In these two sets, which are actually a little bigger. You have two sets that are actually a little have more parts to them and they’re going to go on your sides, which we’ll show you in a bit, but these see on the shorter ones are going to cross.

They can make an X pattern on your roof of your Center okay, so we have one together. Okay, what you can do is slide it through this sleeve, okay, run it through this Center loop and then through the sleeve. On the other side, okay, connect at these corner elbows, you have four of them on the top of the tent, you can have a narrow, narrow one, and you have a wide one. So you want to connect it. Actually, these poles, you can connect into the narrow, female and just pop them in just like that, and you can do the other poll along here, along together along the other sleeve, just the opposite, make an X.

So there you have. Is your Center roof? Your fibro, your two fiberglass poles for your Center move next thing is to get your two largest sets of fiberglass poles and you’re, going to do the sleeves on the ends by the doors first. The reason was why you want to do that before you raise it up, as you want to put them, it’s easy to put them through in the tents on the ground, because when the tents already raised, they tend to break easier. So it’s best just to slide them through the sleeves, while it’s on the ground and already anchored okay, so leave these aside, and when next thing we do is get the steel poles.

Alright, you have four steel poles like these put them together at the loop side toward the top, as opposed to upside down the bottom. You want these actually closer to the top you’re going to put four in the mill end pop up, see you detect them, you connect them in the male end. Little brace here you connect them in the male end, these the poles in the female end in here. Actually, let’s get the first to the next to become much easier. There’s no tension! That’s why I just kind of crisscross spero, so I have to get that in connect a fiberglass pole into that actually to this smaller they’re, almost the same as those, but they supposed smell.

So it’s really actually on the inside of female, because a female connector on the outside see one side in let’s take off as much slack as you can in the sleeve to where it kind of Brewers, and these poles are actually pretty strong, so you can give it a little bit of one. What’s that, then? Actually, it’s sort of pretty easy that time, click that likewise the other side. Let’s go in there, take out the slack sleep since these are anchored down. The tent doesn’t go anywhere, so it stays, but it’s not needed on all points just so you only need to start with these four on this side to the other side.

Okay, have that your main door, here’s your eport, do we have to plug in the shore power something’s up higher than this go slower, he’s a shoe. A little shoe entrance where you can put your shoes store your shoes, and this is a mud map. The other thing you really have to do from this point. The tent is actually pretty much set up set to the rain fly, although you do that in another video. But the only thing left to do is hear the this for more state points on each side: 1, 2, 3, 4 the same on the other side.

So just stick that down to secure better and then put the rain fly on the right. Thigh actually looks once you get it over. It looks into these d-rings the corner, and you can attach the guy that you can sting down the guylines. If it’s really, when do you, they do have guidelines that you can stake down, make an even more secure, but on a calm day, all you just need to do is connect them for those points on each side. Don’t do that. Another video, but ten is pretty much set up.

There’s a window. There there’s three windows on the other side door and you also have your side doors all right, so this is the inside of ten empty. This is the center. The center stands about six six. The ends, of course, don’t hit my head about we’re two steps down, but it’s part about the less than five feet at the end, of course, but actually like it, so you can stand up. The center is the back window. It’s two side windows. Also, there are there’s another door there, so there’s actually three doors where you can unzip in eggs and Adam.

This is actually just a bit large window here and use a sitter where we put a light on in this couple pockets. You hold your gear, electronics and stuff use. The inside of each port you’ll run some Shore power. This summer we actually ran an air conditioner. We had a rigged up that we could actually put the air conditioner this door and just use these other doors as entrances and exits, but really good ship here we’re gonna do is, if you have to put the rain fly on by yourself best way to do it.

First of all, flip it upside down and decide with a seam is going to go on the outside edge. So when we flip it over, that’s the outside, when the door is on the opposite side, you have four hooks. First hook goes on the nylon eyelet by the one door. Second, one on the d-ring of the pole. Third, one on the other d-ring on the pole, close one from the last eyelet just hang it upside down the world’s oldest kitten girlie girlie I play with the caseta.

Don’t miss a minute of fun with the instant cabin tent this large Airy tent sets up in just a few minutes. It features an awning and rain fly and sleeps up 12 people putting the Ozark Trail instant, tent together, is as easy as unpacked unfold extend unpack the tent fold down the ends of the poles, so only the center hub is in the air. Next pull up on the roof, poles, starting in the middle and working your way out, make sure to fully extend the two longest poles until the silver button clicks and locks into place, then just extend the leg poles working together from one side of the tent, to the other, make sure to use tent stakes to secure the tent there’s.

Also, an included rain fly for added privacy and shade taking down the tent is just as easy as set up start with taking out the stakes and removing the rain fly. Then work from the ground up push in the silver buttons to telescope in the leg and roof. Poles push the corner joints straight in and fold the leg. Poles up roll the tent tight to remove air and store in the provided bag. The Ozark Trail instant, tent comes with features to make camping, comfortable and enjoyable. The awning creates great shade and there are room dividers for separate living and sleeping spaces.

The large mesh windows, let the tent, breathe or zip closed for privacy there’s also an extension cord for sand storage compartments with so many features. The Ozark Trail instant cabin tax can be your guide to making wonderful camping memories that last for years,.
