Master craftsmen in Laramie, Wyo. combined rare barnwood with regionally harvested woods to create this uncommonly graceful collection. Aside from offering a unique piece of history from the American west, reclaimed wood boasts a naturally weathered appearance and authentic patina that can't be found elsewhere. The widely varying knot patterns, grain designs and colors, from rich, weathered grays to shades of orange and red, give each piece its own personality. As a Founding Member of the Sustainable Furniture Council, Mountain Woods Furniture is committed to using mostly reclaimed or "dead-standing" wood, and where necessary, supplementing those wood sources with sustainably sourced, locally harvested aspen trees. The company uses wood scraps to efficiently heat their facility and utilize low-VOC stain and water-based finishes during construction to minimize indoor air pollution. The pieces in the Wyoming Collection surpass Built Green standards. Made in USA.
