Features that you're looking for organization and a pack that's going to. Carry a heavy load comfortably now. Unlike extended trip packs where they've. Got heavy features this has really. Stripped-down features lightweight materials those materials are also very durable and strong and the suspension. System here really gives you the ability. To carry the load so I'm going to turn the pack around and talk about the suspension system I've got Gregory's cross flow dts suspension system and. Again it's pretty lightweight it gives. You a lot of ventilation with this. Tension back panel you can see all of that mesh there and i can put my hand. Behind it so you know that you've got all the ventilation that you need behind the scenes there you can see a cross pattern for the frame that is a. Lightweight spring frame and what i like. About that is it gives the rigidity that you need in the pack to give stability and to transfer the weight of the load to your hips but it will move with you. Because it's the cross pattern it will flex a little bit as you move so this pack doesn't feel boxy it feels like as you move going up and down hill it's. Going to move with you and then you as well. Have behind the scenes a hdpe frame sheet that gives rigidity to but it's. Nice and lightweight now you have a va. Foam where you need it there on the lumbar pad it's a really comfortable lumbar pad and then behind the shoulder. Straps you have die cut foam that foam. Keeps you comfortable and unlike lightweight or ultra light. Weight backpacks this foam gives you plenty of cushioning so really. Comfortable cushioning on the shoulders and a lot of cushioning on the hip belt and the hip belt does have a little bit of rigidity to it too so it definitely carries the load well now. Obviously you've got your load lifter straps up here that give you some adjust ability this comes in three different sizes so you can't actually adjust the harness up and down but you. Can use the those load lifters to dial in the fit and just choose the. Particular size that's right for your. Torso in addition to the adjust ability. There you do have an adjustable sternum straps you can move that up and down. While I'm on the back of the pack you do have a hydration sleeve inside the pack. You can route the hydration hose out through the middle here and you even. Have a little catch here for the hose on. This side now the hydration system itself isn't included, but they do give. You this smaller pack this can be hung. Inside of the backpack as the sleeve for. Your hydration system but you can as well. Take it out and use it as a summit pack you've got really lightweight and stretchy straps here so those are comfortable the material here is nice. And lightweight so it doesn't add a lot of weight to the actual pack but you can use this as a day pack if you're just. Summoning a peak you can use this to. Take some stuff with you or if you're traveling and you're just going out for the day that you can throw some essentials in this pack there's daisy chain attachments on the front a small zippered pocket there on. That pack so it's a really nice feature. That again doesn't add a lot of weight to the pack that adds a lot of value the. Pockets and organization are streamlined. And simple but it gives you all the. Organization you need on the front of the hip belt you have nice big pockets i. Can see these accommodating any size smartphone you can see this mesh pocket. Here stretches out really big you could put a small camera in there or something like that so really good size pockets. There and then on the lid you have the access into the. Back I've got a first aid kit in their so items you want to get your hands on quickly or lightweight items can be. Stored up there on the side of the pack. You have two very stretchy meshes pockets big enough to accommodate any size water. Bottle I've got a 32 ounce water bottle. In there and it fits well you've even got a compression strap on the front so you can compress that down and if you're. Just going on an overnight or a short trip you've got compression straps all over this pack to make the load a little bit smaller you have a full-size lid here. And you can store lots of gear in there so then that gives you access into the. Body of the pack there's even a small hidden pocket back here and that's a. Great feature for travel you've got really easy access into the top of the pack with a nice big opening that's. Really easy to use and i found that this. Pull handle is really nice as well so there're little attentions to detail make. A big difference it's all the access you need into that big pocket then you do. Have access in a couple more areas so. Something i really appreciate about this pack you have a nice big u-shaped zipper. Here where you can access all the gear. That you need that's in the middle of your pack it's tucked away back here so. It doesn't add a lot of weight to the pack but as you can see i can open that. Up nice and wide almost like a piece of luggage and get to all the gear that's in the middle of the pack so i can grab for whatever i need if you're traveling. With this pack taking it overseas you can use it like that so really nice almost hidden pocket there. And then down on the bottom you have access into a sleeping bag compartment down there these zipper poles are so. Easy to use, and they make it nice and easy to get to the bottom now there is a. Divider in between the bottom and the. Middle of the pack but you can tuck that away if you need full access into the whole pack now also behind the scenes there is a. Hidden rain cover the rain cover is. Custom fit for the pack and it's in its own designated pocket right here so rain cover matches the pack and it. Adds a lot of value so you don't have to purchase a separate rain cover in the. Front a nice stretchy dump pocket too and then as you can see all over the. Front of this pack you've got two loops you've got straps here that you can. Attach a sleeping pad this is actually removable and you've got trekking pole bungees up here so there's plenty of. Features here you can use this pack in a lot of different ways but all of those. Features don't add a lot of weight to the pack, but they add a lot of organization and with all the features that you get here it's a really great value it would work in a lot of. Hey everybody this is Jackie from the budget-minded travelers comm and i want to take a few minutes to show you today why i love my Gregory jade 50 backpacks so much and why i would recommend it for you as your go-to travel backpack but. First of all if you haven't watched my how to choose the right travel backpack video i recommend that you watch that one so that you can understand what we're getting into today I'm going to be talking about the three c's comfort capacity and convenience alright allow. Me to introduce you to my go to travel backpack the Gregory jade 50 it's a. Women's size small for my torso and the. Number 50 is the pack capacity in litres why is this important three reasons. Number one the fact that it's a size. Small is not only great for fitting my torso perfectly but it's a bonus because. Check this out oh whoa thanks okay this. Backpack is about 20 to 21 inches that. Makes it small enough to carry on which is really important to me because i prefer to carry on whenever possible the. Second reason the 50 is perfect for me is that it's small enough so that it discourages me from over packing yet. It's still big enough to fit everything that i need and the third reason is that. It seems to be the perfect size for any length of trip that i take i can take it. For weeks or months it always seems to be the perfect size for me and now we'll talk about comfort look closely at the. Frame of this backpack it's actually shaped against the curve of my back. There's lumbar support at the bottom and there's shoulder support at the top and. The frame never actually touches my back. So when a backpack fits right all the. Weight should be right on your hips and this should be fastened just above your hip bone so once i get all the straps at. Just the right length I'm actually really comfortable and i actually hiked machu picchu with this backpack for three days straight and i didn't have any problems with being sore i also packed like so keep that in mind all right on the convenience it's. Important to look at the pockets straps zippers and extra flair that the backpack has so starting at the top. There's one right across the top here which i like for two reasons on it. Makes a convenient spot to put things that I'll need to access a lot like sunglasses passport wallet hotel keys. There's even a strap on the inside here. For your keys so that they'll keep them in a convenient spot and the second. Think i like about this specific zipper is that the zipper is actually tucked in pretty close to my body so that when I'm wearing it's harder for a thief to. Get to and if you notice right here i. Actually keep a safety pin right there on that loop and that way i can safety. Pin the loop to the strap and it creates a lock on the zipper so i wouldn't have to worry about people trying to get into it anyway alright moving on if you open. It up you'll see that on the inside i. Don't know if you could see this from there, but we'll try there's a pocket. Right against the back here i don't know if you can see it but it fits documents. I always put my flight reservations and important things extra stash of money right there in that pocket because it's almost hidden and the rest of it is just a big open space I've actually got a pillow stuffed in there right now to show you and then on the outside the. First thing that you'll notice is this big bulky pouch and what i love about. This is that i actually use it to put my. Shoes in and you'll see that I've got some shoes in it right here this is a. Very versatile pouch for anything that's. Bulky shaped or maybe muddy i put muddy shoes muddy clothes in here all the time. So that's a great spot for any kind of. Shoes and then on the outside of this there's a long vertical pouch and this. Is actually pretty big this is where i keep my flip-flops because it seems to be the perfect size pocket for a flat pair of flip-flops and then on each side there are these. Adjustable pockets right here which you could also put shoes in or water bottles. There's a velcro if you're not going to use it and there's also a strap right here that you could put around the top of a water bottle or the end of a shoe to hold it in there and that's on both. Sides of this backpack there's also on. The very bottom besides the mud there're some straps here. You could put something long shaped in. This so like when i take this backpacking in the summer camping that's. Where i put my sleeping pad because it's a long awkward shape and it doesn't even then have to go into my backpack it just goes right on the bottom and the last. Think and probably the most important is. This side pocket right here this piece. Of magic allows me to be able to reach. At the bottom of my backpack without having to take everything out through the top every time when i need something that's packed deep and i almost forgot. Right here on the sides of the hip straps there's two more little pockets that are perfect for chapstick they even fit a little point-and-shoot camera and anything that you need to keep convenient with you while you're wearing your backpack those are great pockets for that and there's one more see that i. Didn't talk about with this backpack and that's cost and that's another reason why i love this backpack i actually went. To rei to get fitted for this backpack they had a blue one in the store and once i decided the best the backpack i really wanted i went to the rei outlet and i found this one which is even more perfect for me because my favorite color is red this backpack cost me a hundred. Hey I'm nathan welcome to the scarpa. Booth so i thought maybe you're here you'd like to see the new model of the vapor so vapor is actually one of our. Most popular climbing shoes mainly because they're very balanced they do a little bit of everything and most people haven't got to the stage where they have three four five pairs of climbing shoes, and they want one climbing shoe that does a little bit of everything they're a seven panel design so most people. Think that the intermediate they're not we've actually got just as many pieces as a drago so and the pattern that. Stitches them is very hard to do it's a very small kicker at the front here you can even see the outline on the shoe and that's because the toe position in vapor is a little bit flatter that's because vapor we really wanted to. Make it an aging and smearing shoe that. Had a good balance between either the first version of the vapor was almost all ever and then the next version of. The vapor was a combination of synthetic and other materials and then the last version of the vapor that we got here is. Synthetic on both sides with a leather at the bottom so the version before i. Had suede leather on the inside here, and we exchanged that from microfiber and. That made the upper a little bit softer as well as we reduce the volume of the tongue and tapered it a little bit so that made the whole shoe a little bit softer, so we put a new plastic insert on the inside and previously. Would have heard that we had flex and plastic inserts we use that a lot from the performance models and the new vapor has a tail and plastic insert and the. Tail is just a little bit stiffer we also extended the plastic up and over the heel so it just gave a little bit more structure to the shoe because changing out the leather for the synthetic softened the upper, and we didn't want to change the characteristic of the shoe very much for climbing we just really wanted to make it a little bit more comfortable and a little less of breaking in period but the same performance one of the other things that you'll notice it's got a excess grip to. Here with two layers so that's something that we previously did on the instinct model and a lot of people really liked it, so we put this onto the model it adds a little bit more labor but it gives the heel the ability to. Change shape and obviously it gives the best rubber for heel hooking on the other side so overall we improved. Basically the characteristics so the. Shoe could break in a little bit faster but in the end the shoe remains on the. Same last with the same shape and just a. Color update and a softening of the upper and a stiffening of the mid sole the vapor woman's and the vapor men's. Are on different lasts so they have. Different rubbers so you'll see this sample prototypes got excess edge it's actually excess group two on the women's and it's excess edge on the men's but. That's not really the biggest difference the biggest difference is the total volume of the shoe so especially in the heel the volume is a lot narrower and more sculptured on the female version than it is on the male i mean a. Lot of people are choosing the shoes off the outside looks it's not what we want. We want them to look inside and climb with the shoe but in the end the velcro. Strap looked a little bit nicer with a little bit of 3d print pulling it out the strapless is the same we did insert. A piece of elastic in the middle here just to kind of keep that flat and keep. A real snug fit because we felt the straps just pulled in two points and the middle point didn't get pulled in enough so that's why the velcro versions. Changed slightly on either side we did a lot of changes on it in the hope that we. Would make it more comfortable but changed nothing about the characteristic of the shoe and you know in the end that meant that we changed the whole mid sole the shape and the plastic so it's its. Probably it is yeah it's a totally. Different shoe with the same characteristic when you climb but um i think it shows that you can't just fit all with one layer and not affect the whole shoot so each layer has an. Effect doesn't matter what you do even just changing the material will change the way it comes out at 2019 and. The price is a moderate increase but i. Think it's marginal five bucks ten. Bucks yeah, so we tried as much as we could to keep the same price but obviously there's a little bit more work especially in the heel it's gone from a single layer here or to a dual layer. Excess grip here so it takes a little. But more work to do that most people. Just don't realize how much work goes into the climbing shoes if you put a relative price on the climbing shoes compared to some of the other shoes that the margins are actually pretty small they take a long time to make and. There's a lot of handwork in them, but we're capped by having the most expensive prices on the market i think people just don't understand how long it takes, and we've got you know 38 of our. 39 models are all made in italy, so we haven't got the alternative of cheaper manufacturing or anything like that.

now the go guys I'm here to give a. Review on the osprey tempest for tea bag. This is the extra small which makes it. Actually a 38 litre rather than a 40. Litre yeah i just recently got this I'm. Planning on going on some overseas. Travel the reason i got the extra small. Was that i could fit into it and then also that it fit more of the dimensions. Of being able to become a carry-on. Rather than something that i would have to check i wanted something that had enough room for 10 sleeping pads all my. Close some electronics and yeah. Basically just all my needs as far as. Being overseas and traveling for an extended period of time i really liked look the look of this bag. Online i checked it out on their website. Which is probably where i would recommend doing any specs checking of. Any backpacks would be to go to the. Brands website because i have found that. On amazon or any outfitters websites. They just don't have the correct specifications i got this through rei. It's about i think 160 dollars and the. Things that i really do like about it or. What drew me to the bag were i really. Like the kangaroo pouch in the front this mesh pouch I've already done some. Extended backpacking and this is kind of like a must for me because I'm not the. Most organized person in the world and when have like maybe a jacket or a raincoat that i don't want to open up my entire. Pack to put back in here and make it. Super organized i just like to shove it into here and it's nice to say you have. Snacks or something that you want to just get to fast this is a must for me another thing that kind of drew me to. The pack was this is what they call a. Brain on a backpack and i like having a. Rather, larger brain it's just pretty. Pretty large and i like that you can fit. You know a good portion of stuff in here. One thing that i thought was kind of. Different about the design on this one. Which i do like that it's somewhat. Detachable we're just flexible i don't know that you can fully remove it because this is the weird part it kind of has this strap system that goes from. They i don't know they got kind of funky with the straps on this backpack to be honest it's got this one that connects to this it kind of runs down through these two loops and then back up through this knot and that can kind of cinch it. Down which i do enjoy that it keeps it. Pretty sturdy but i just think that there's kind of necessary leakage one. Think that i have come to realize after. Having received it was that these straps. Are i think a little bit too simple for. Me and not as comfortable as i was. Hoping so just putting it on putting you. Now a lot of gear in it and testing it. Out and feeling it out these are pretty thin and as far as osprey packs go. They've come a long way with how. Amazing and cushioned and patted their. Straps are the pack that i hiked with. Through a year and a half it was like my. Home it was the osprey aura 65 and not. Long straps in compare more amazing these i just i don't. Now if i can get behind a bag that's gonna actually hurt my shoulder ernest. Because I've gotten spoiled so yeah this. Is the back of it which is pretty decent. I think as far as you know back to concern you do get a lot of airflow in here but in again it's a slight. Disappointment compared to where osprey. Is now with their backs especially i think with the anti gravity backs that they're coming up coming out with right now this just you know i don't know that. You can get as much air flow as you know. The other box do because they're almost you know of of your back it does have. The adjustable shoulder straps where you. Can get in here and adjust it to size. Which is nice it does have this the. External bladder right here which i do. Enjoy probably better than having it on. The inside for me i don't know if it's. Completely 100% necessary cuz I'm not. Even sure I'm gonna be taking my bladder on my travels so something again I'm. Just gonna kind of way out so these are a side mesh pocket, and they have some. Blue straps here that it goes either on. The outside or you can realign them on. The inside sometimes i think they're. Just a little bit overkill these this. One in particular go zigzag across this. Pocket but then also attaches to the hip. Belt and this side pocket so i don't. Now if cinching this up a lot is gonna. Just like i don't know. It's just for me I'm not sure the reason. Why it's there if you know leave a comment this right here for like ice. Pick and i know their cord right here. You can tie it down so these straps. Right here are load stabilizer straps, and they help you balance how much of a. Load that you're taking on your upper back so those are really helpful i think. Most backpacks come with them as far as the hip belt it looks pretty nice looks. Like it's got some air flow to it even these pockets right here are like half. Mesh which is kind of nice another thing. When i was kind of disappointed in was the quality or the sturdiness of these. Straps on the buckle and so this buckle. I'm not super stoked on the design or. The quality it just seems kind of. Slightly flimsy so and we can give you a. Lot of to work with here i know. It's the extra small and i mean that's. Kind of what it comes with but say you're having a heavy day and you. No need a little bit more room for. This like it's not that big so i enjoy. That there aren't super long straps cuz. On my last one they were really long but yeah i just give at least a little bit. More oh and it's got this sternum strap. And the sternum strap is adjustable as well so that's nice to have one of these. That can adjust easily this little. Pocket i was somewhat excited for but i. Don't know what more than like your two. Fingers you can fit in here i was hoping. That it might be able to fit like my ipod but i have come to found out the. Test will not happen it's just way too. Small so that's kind of diss yeah i think that's the stow on the go trekking poles and so you can store them. Right here in here which is really nice. When you're hiking and you just don't want to use them or you have to kind of like scramble up some rocks so there's just the two entrances the bottom and the top i do like this kind of. Compression saint-jean my top which is your bags pretty full and you want to just cinch it down that's pretty nice it. Does open really wide which i like and. So you can just get in there and it's. Pretty nice that if you don't have a side entry then you've got a nice big. Open entrance to the top of your bag. Yeah so then there's the bottom entrance. Here and i don't know if i might just. Not read it but i was hoping for kind of. Like separation down here for my sleeping bag but there isn't any separation so i mean if you're taking. Put your bag some other stuff might fall. Out i don't know i just like for the. Divider here these clips serves or you. No sleeping mask or yoga mat or whatever you keep on here all around i. Feel like this is a pretty awesome bag but the only thing is. That for i think long distance traveling. It just doesn't do't have some of the. Some features that i like you know bag i would maybe recommend it for like some maybe week-long backpacking. Hikes or if you're more into the kind of. Minimalistic style i would say it feels really good i think I'm possibly just going to look for a another bag and find. Something that fits my needs because. What is up Duroc here you first outdoors. Today i wanna do a quick little review a. Pretty sweet little daebak i like god it's gonna be the deuter a ct trail 30. That's right this little pack is quiet. Impressive actually i was kind of skeptical but i used it on a recent hike. And i was very impressed with it especially if it looks kind of small but. It held everything i needed it to hold. Which was surprising and it is very. Comfortable so I'm gonna go over a couple things with it and pack it out shows you how much it held for me and why. I think it's a good pack for the money alright let's take a good look at this thing first so pack is very light empty pack weighs. Out 2 pounds 10 ounces this is the acp. Trail 30 so it's a 30 liter pack i was a. Little skeptical about the hip belt you know there's no padding or anything like that now you gotta understand this is just add a pack so you can pack. It out really well but this really it did well and the padding here kind of. Leaves a space between your back so some. Air can flow through that and that seemed to work well it was a pretty hot day when we hiked up mount Trumbull. So i was very comfortable got some stuff i already used this pack once this is looking at the back the. Straps are adjustable here and then up. Top but you can't adjust the back like. Port or so that's pretty much you get. What you get flipping this over what i like about. This too is it's got the little rain. Rain fly that will cover back here. Always like that i think that's great in the packs no although i should try and. Put this all in the packs full up see what looks like they will do that to that's cool that stuff back into there. You've got a one strap to lock the top. Down here and you've got some extra. Space on the front here to store some. Things and you can also store some. Things well that's the side. Entrance there so that's kind of windy. And you've got that on one side what you. Also have is the ability to just open. The entire pack from the top like that. So that's kind of handy grab things out. Of there without having to go to the top and then there's also the top pocket. Which you can store some things to get your key holder there and there's also one more pockets isn't there yeah inside. The top there you can cram some stuff in there as well. We've also got a little bit of knowledge. Right here you know alpine emergency by. You know singled aircraft all those things that'll help you out if you get. And a pinch well it's tough this thing. Our real quick alright so what you're. Seeing here is the back fully loaded. Everything i like to carry on a day hike. And it seems to hold on then what i. Don't have i don't have stuff jammed in the top pockets or in this front pocket so those are still empty although I'm. Sure i could find something to put in their i like to pack a view so that's just or lots of stuff that's just how it. Rolls but we're loaded you can see how. Now that holds up. Show you how fitz. Here we have it's pretty good mmm. One thing i really like about this and i was kind of weird when i first put it on is like with the straps it belts I'm. Used to pulling back to tighten this one. They go pull front and it's beautiful it. Looks great I'm you can just type down like that and i just think it's so much easier to pull that away then this way that's brilliant. Actually i think so that's really cool also on the sternum strap it has this. Plastic thing that's clipped on and it. Moves up fairly simple so you can adjust. Sternum strap pretty easy. Looking at this now that could pop off. Just pop out of there it doesn't run. Through so that's gonna happen i mean. It's gonna happen this is gonna pop off. A new pack I've only used it once I'm hard on things I've run through bushes. And dragged things across it i mean it's. Just we'll see but for the moment it. Works you can just that yeah i mean this. Is gonna pop off or rip out it will i. Now it just cuz it's happened. Everything every time i have things like this they're gonna fail not off the back. But eventually so bearing that in mind. You can still fit an al jean in there. And you could probably rig something up to tie it but that looks pretty secure in there but this thing your miles may. Very i suppose but it's handy and it'll. Work for the moment we will see in time. Heavy usage you know things are gonna fall apart there's another one over here. Also where you can hang something. Through and a nice axe or something i suppose something else but there's no pocket so yeah you know you got some. Little things sewn here you could attach things to so there're options it's cool i. Like what i like it you know i think it's a well-thought-out pack for the most part i think these things could be. A little sturdier and a little more. Heavy-duty but you know things like that. Will increase the cost of the pack so. Yeah we'll see where it takes it rights. You've also got some loops sewn in on. The bottom here and they'll be useful. For some things this is connected here. You'll take unhook that and that's how. You'll access. That's your side wait a minute do you. Notice that huh okay well there's a side pocket right there instead of an outside. Pockets a zipper pocket where you could stash something a map or something would go there wow just now I've seen all kinds of cool stuff so you don't clip these claps here. And this will get you into the top of. The back to get whatever you need out of their back down so now that this thing's. All full up let's try that rain fly. Again see how that holds up sticks out. Of here put these back on so i got a. Full up pack will this fly cover it now. Moment of truth alright so the fly is attached to the. Pack fly out and wind grabs it you'll. Got a little drain hole at the bottom like i said this is a this is a pretty thought-out pack a nicely thought out pack all right you've got your slot for. Your camel back hose and then it'll run. Down strap there go right through there. So there's your water system if you will. I don't really like using camelbaks. That's just my preference sometimes i do but a lot of times i don't I'll just stick with no jeans so what I've got in. The pack is I've actually got four. Nalgene bottles in their now one of them. Stuffed with things i may need so in. Theory i could hold a gallon of water just with the nalgene bottles in here and I'm. Gonna dig everything out and show you what i got in their so jackets rain. Jacket also got another now jean this is. Got a bunch of stuff in it. Whistle lighters blah blah blah and I've. Got 20 liter dry bags this just got all. Stuff like compass sunscreen food toilet. Paper all those essential things like that and i don't really carry this is a. Quick dry bag this is more for a canyoning so I've got stuff ready for a canyon I'm doing tomorrow we've got a lighter dry bag which I'll use this to cut down on weight but it's still it's still the same thing 20 litres it's not full of course but you know that'll work. Too and that's everything that was in. There and you've also got your slot of. Course for your camel back in here like that so there you have it all my stuff. That was in there so pack holds quiet. A bit everything you need for sweet long. Day hike and if you have to have or come. Into some inclement weather it's already. Geared like that I'm very impressed with this pack i like it i like it a lot and i think it'll last there's a couple weak. Points i think but you're gonna have that'll anything and if you were to make. Those things more heavy-duty like i said. It's just going to increase the price point of the pack and as far as the. Totally get you to the top or the bottom of your climbing area I've been rock hopping climbing and even. Hiking in these shoes and overall. They're really awesome shoes they're. Lightweight they're super grippy, and they're you know decently comfortable on your foot you're nice and lined on the inside for me i. Find these shoes fit really narrow so. They are they're cut pretty. Narrow and i have a very wide foot so i. Am I finding them to be a little bit pinchy right here at the widest point. And i also found the sizing to be like. Totally out of whack with most other shoe companies for example i usually wear a 39 and that would equate too about. An eighth or an eight and a half these are a seven and a half us, but they are a. 39 and a third european so i got the 39. 1/3 thinking that would fit me i usually wear a 39 and i don't mind having a little extra room for my toes but my big toe on my big foot only comes. Up to right here so I'm not really. Getting to take advantage of the little rubbery end of the toe and when i. Have been climbing in them they my feet. To sort of slide forward and backward a little bit i also found the back gave me. A fair bit of pressure when i was taking in them it's not really their intended use so do. Take that with a grain of salt also i think there's extra pressure because the soul is quite stiff and it's intended. To be that way of course so that you can edge and smear and you know really make. The most out of these shoes. Did i say yet that i love the color is awesome it's like great teal color goes with lots of things it's really subtle so I'm a really big fan, and they're just really like sleek and sexy looking so i have no. Before and our stealth overnight adventure wear is a winter storm coming. In we were just going through the woods like crazy this pack is tough as nails. It's awesome go ahead get comfortable let's take a look at it now so here you. Go guys here is the Nabisco pack this is. The 55 liter version now this is the older version of this pack from what i. Understand the 55 liter male version has. Been discontinued it's no longer available I'm sure you could find it used on ebay and so on but there's a 65. Litre version and now the 55 liter. Version is for women so if you go out. You're looking for one of these packs you come across one right here on the. Back you should be able to see that it says Nabisco 55 right next to it will. Either be an m or a w and that will signify it if it's for the male or for. The woman so with that being said if you get the 55 litre version or the 60 liter either way you're getting an awesome pack we'll go ahead and start by taking a look at it right here at the very top you have a drag handle right below that you have a zippered pocket which gives you access to the lid very good quality zippers these are ykk zippers good quality pull. On them too good action you have some. Bungee cord right here on top so you could put i don't know your sweater whatever you want to your brain jacket out here maybe let something dry you have a draw cord with that so you can cinch it down real tight of course. There's the fox leather very good. Quality the lid is hunkered down to the pack thanks to these two straps. On the inside of the lid you have this large zippered mesh pocket which. Includes the rain cover included it even. Has the fox on it you have this buckle right here with plenty of strap it's so you can cinch down your load or expand it you have a. Drawstring pull right here at the middle. And then this does extend up with another drawstring pool so you can expand your load to fit your gear to fit. Your needs going down in the center you. Do have a pocket very good amount of space you can fill up this entire section right through here flipping the. Pack over to the side compression straps. With strap keepers very nice quality you. Do have water bottle pockets down here at the bottom which are stretchy too so. You can fit anything that you need to in there you have the same features on the other side of the pack so as you can see. Here the pack is now laying completely flat because this is a cool feature on each side you have a zipper and another. Zipper check this out you can zip all. The way down zip all the way down on this side and peel this open and that. Grants you access to all the contents of your bag i love this feature on backpacks fjällräven got it right i. Haven't seen a pack that uses velcro at the top but this really does work well you just simply line it up smash it. Together and you are good to go being. Able to access all of your gear like that is just fantastic it's very. Smart now my friends take a look here at. The bottom of this pack it is nice and flat and it's molded to be that way that. Was your pack will stand up most packs. Are not able to stand up but this one can it's absolutely awesome it's. Definitely different i haven't seen a pack like this before that has that formed bottom it's very cool it works well when it comes to the harness system it's what you expect just terrific quality. Hadded extremely comfortable you have load lifters sternum strap with. Emergency whistle you have a very large padded waist belt with one pocket on the right-hand side ah it's like i left something in it from. My last trip I'll eat that on the way home very good buckle all the typical. Adjustments that you would expect you. Can also pull the load of the pack closer to the hip belt very nice now. There are a couple things i would like to point out that really just show off the type of quality the type of thinking that went into this pack check out this d-ring right here metal very solid very. Sturdy let's fold this back here now check this out you have one of the compression strap buckles and you see this you can take this out and adjust it. You can move it up you can move it down any place that you need to that is. Incredibly smart that is a very good feature having fixed compression straps. Really limit the way that you can load your pack the way that you hunker it down so being able to move those up and. Down really opens up a lot of doors for. The way that you can hunker down your load and get it comfortable for your trip with the water bottle pockets right below you do have this drawstring on each one so you can slide your water bottle in and then pull it nice and. Tight on the inside you have a clip as. You can see for your hydration bladder so you can just lock it into place it. Prevents the whole thing from sagging another great feature below the hydration keeper you have a zipper which gives you access to the. Frame sheet and the aluminum stays i. Showed mentioned below that you have an additional zippered area and this is. Perfect for maps its perfect for keeping extra cash if you're traveling. Around that way if something happens you get robbed you have a spot with extra. Cash hidden away trust me you need to do. It if you're a backpacker if you're a traveler below that you have a hydration. Sleeve which can hold three liters of. Water easily other than that there are no more sleeves there are no more pockets you can shove your sleeping bag down in the very bottom there is no set writer so it's just one big pocket so my. Friends that is the Nabisco 55 packs this. Thing is very impressive i absolutely loved it I've used it numerous times you guys saw it in the overnight adventure that stealth camping one i can't really remember exactly what i called it but it was a ton of fun and. This pack really did perform well and it took a lot of abuse i was really just. Bushwhack and pushing through the brush i was way off trail just using some maps. And some navigation yeah and it just. It's held up so well over the years I'm just so impressed with this pack now this is the black color you could find these in numerous colors there's black there's green there's un blue and this. Runs 270 dollars from the fjällräven dot. Us website for that price i think it's. Fantastic you know it's like with their pants like i have on here they're really expensive you look to pay around $100 a pair and you would think that their backpacks would be much more expensive more on the same level as our tareq's, but they're not two hundred and seventy dollars and you're getting an. Amazing backpack that really does have some cool features 55 litres this comes. In at four pounds eight ounces so it's know it is not super lightweight by any. Means but thanks to this harness it is. Very comfortable that is true so for our look at the pl raven Nabisco 55.
