Hey everyone digital david here today in this video I’m going to be unboxing and trying on the under armour men’s charged, assert 8 running shoes. I did purchase this product myself and any opinion expressed in this video is strictly my own. Packaged to you right here in a very simple under armour shoe box, everything looks great.

Now, let’s go ahead, let’s open it up and look at the package contents here, all the package contents. We get the shoes, no surprise there. I got mine in size 11, so we’ll try them on in a second to see how they fit and if they’re true to size. But you can see right here from the top. We got the under armour logo. It says charged assert right here, then we can look at the inside and it says deluxe foam, dual layer, comfort, sock liner in there.

We can also look at the tongue right here. You can see made in vietnam us size, 11, uk 10, euro 45 looks great, though love the logo right there. The black and white design is sleek and sharp very happy with how everything looks in person here in the studio. Here it is from the front here. It is from the other side with the charge, logo and branding down here here it is from the back side. You can see under armour’s logo again now we can flip it over to the bottom.

You can check it out under armour’s logo right here too, that’s pretty sweet, a lot of grip too for you, since these are running shoes. Let’s look at the other one they’re identical, though, looks great good looking pair of shoes very lightweight, too. You can see the charge logo again black and white size 11 men’s. Now, let’s go ahead, let’s try them on and let’s see how they fit all right. So now, I’m back with the shoes on and the foot can fired up.

Take a look. What do you think very, very comfortable, great fit size 11 in men’s, very happy with the size they fit great? I think I have a little bit fatter feet so, if anything, maybe they’re a little bit tight around here, but not bad at all, I definitely would not recommend going under your normal size at the most, maybe a half a size above your regular size, but I would say they’re definitely true to fit at least for my feet, check that out, though, very nice very comfortable.

You can see right there as we move our foot. Take a look flexible, comfortable, breathable, lightweight, going to be great for walking and for running so overall, very happy with the fit and feel of these shoes and they’re, definitely true to size, now stay tuned for a future video in the future, showing you guys what it’s like after they’ve, been broken in and worn for a couple of months. Ah, so warm and comfy, I know it’s florida, but we have chilly days here too. This is so nice, hey guys, melissa here. While I didn’t do a lot of black friday shopping this year, I did make sure to treat myself to a couple of nice items from under armour. So, as you can see my new super comfy fleece, I think they call this the fleece big logo.

Hoodie arrived. You see the color yeah, there’s something about lime. Green neon green is a little on the kelly green side, but the lime green that has that hint of yellow yeah digging this and and when I walk outside people, should be able to not hit me in this right like it’s bright enough, where I should glow in, but I had to get new shoes because my last ones just wouldn’t hold up to all of the walking I was doing yeah.

They started to fall apart a little too fast, but it’s my fault because they weren’t, like runner or walker shoes, but these are so. Let me show you the outside of the box. If I can find it here, I did buy a 10 4 4e in men, so these are pretty wide. Now you can see the side of the box and I forget what they’re called already charged assert eight.

So that’s the kind of guy they have dual layer: comfort, sock liner, it’s a deluxe foam inside the shoe. Now I did try these on when I went to dick’s sporting goods, so I was able to see if the regular or the 4e is it 4e? Why can’t they just make it easy and just say wide or extra wide that worked for me, but I tried on both when I was at dick’s sporting goods.

Now my foot it will get into the regular, but it feels like it is being compressed by one of those like bear traps. So I went with the wide I know with thin socks. My foot will move around a little bit, but I think that’s better than like losing the feeling in my foot from my shoes yeah. So let’s go ahead and open these up. They come in three different colors for wide.

You have the all black, the black with white accents and then the navy with white accents. They are regularly 50. No, I paid 52 they’re regularly 70 something so I got them on that black friday, sale and shoes are one thing that I’ve learned since doing all of my workouts. It’s worth spending a little extra money for, because I’ve been going through shoes.

Lately, you can see the inside of the box here, so we’ll pull one out and grab the other. Ah, maybe oh yeah, okay, I got the all black as much as I love the bright white crisp shoes. I hate cleaning them yeah, that’s a thing, so I went with the all black this time. Honestly, I would have bought them from dick’s sporting goods, but they didn’t have the all black.

They had the black with the white soul and then the white under armour. Look, oh! Is that rubber fancy? You guys have to see this. I guess I should show you so here’s an up close of the shoe and as I just found out, that is rubber. So it’s not like one of those screen print designs. That’ll end up fading away after time, and then you’ve got your mesh right here with what feels like faux leather or suede.

That feels like faux suede yeah you’ve got some on the back here as well. So take a look there. I don’t know if these holes are for ventilation or for aesthetics, but from the inside I mean you can tell the holes, don’t go all the way through, because you’ve got the inside, so it’s got to just be for looks and then the toe protector right up here really nice and the sole of the shoe is pretty neat as well.

So it is grippy, but it doesn’t have a lot of like really big grooves in it. You know the shoes you’ve probably seen them where you’ve got your top. You’ve got your heel and then for some reason, there’s like two inches and an inch in depth missing right here. Personally, those shoes are not super comfortable to walk in all the time, but I feel like these how they’re a little more level but still gripping, not good enough for for the road um yeah.

I think these are going to be really nice to walk around in and jogging yeah. That’s right! I was able to jog last week. My sciatic nerve is feeling a little better, so I’ve been, I don’t want to say, pushing myself because I’m not pushing myself to the point of pain not going through that again, but I’m healing enough to where I’m able to give it a little more effort.

Happy yeah, I’m happy about that. Let’s take the inside waste of paper out and now I didn’t buy the fancy laces for this shoe. However, there are some runners laces on amazon. These guys right here. I think they’re on sale for four and a half five bucks right now, amazing reviews, I’m gonna end up getting these, maybe in the purple we might go for a little splash of color on my under armour shoes, but I’m not going for the the individual silicone laces this time.

Just because I put my other shoes through a lot and one of them at the very top here. I actually have them right here. Yeah see one’s missing, it just popped off the other day. So I imagine it was from all the heat from being outside the heat from my foot, the amount of crap I was putting through them, because these are these are my grab and go shoes, and you can tell how dirty they are.

Please don’t judge me, but for now we’re just gonna use the laces that it came with and they’re pretty nice I mean just standard standard, shoelaces I’ll, open it up a little bit, so you guys can see the inside. I tell you when I tried them on at the store that foam felt nice all right. It even says deluxe foam on the inside, so we’ll see if we can get pretty close here all right.

You see the branding and then well see if I can reach in there and show you at the same time, yeah black on black shoes kind of hard to see, but that’s about as good as it’s going to get right there. It does go down a little bit. I would not say that it feels like memory foam because it doesn’t when you compress it, it doesn’t stay down for a little bit before coming back up, but it’s padded enough to where it should remain comfortable for a while I mean is this just what we’re doing with newsprint now, just putting in all of our shoes, since newspapers are like a dying breed with all the uh, the websites out there? Now it’s uh the newspaper or the news, rather a form of recycling.

I don’t know, I don’t know all right, so I’ve got these both opened up, I’m going to put them on we’re going to go outside and we’re going to test them. I already knew that these shoes were going to be pretty comfortable and they still are from the time I tried them on in the store. I did uh double knot, the laces just so that they’re not super long.

That’s why they’re not sticking out as much but other than that the laces are tight enough to where my foot shouldn’t move around and the foam does feel really nice when you’re walking on it up and down the stairs from the one side of the balcony to the other, but the real test will be taking them out walking one day next week, all right, yeah, the sun came out.

It’s probably 78 degrees right now, so I’m probably overdressed. I don’t care I’m comfortable, but for the shoes, if you guys have wide feet, I definitely recommend the 4e. My feet are wide just because of my bunion like it sticks out. It’s not pretty, and no I’m not going to show my bare feet on camera. So please don’t ask, but if you have a bunion issue or your feet or your foot is just a lot wider right around here.

Oh that’s, a wasp bye. Did you see that he just landed on my hoodie like it was home anyhow? Where was I uh wide feet? Yes, so if you have wide feet, I do recommend these. That point I feel like. I should take them off to show you, but you know what a shoe looks like. Basically, you know your your toes this point right here where, where, like my bunion is that is pretty wide in the shoe now the the heel portion, I have a little bit of room in not a lot to where my foot is going to come out of it not like the the previous shoes I purchased that I don’t wear and I need to give to my sister.

I’ve got to do that. Darn coved. I can’t visit my family like I want to, but maybe that’s keeping the postal service in business and I’m getting off track wide feet. Yes, non-wide feet, then you’ve got more than three color options in this shoe. It is an array of options in men and women’s sizes, so check that out. I’m gonna put the link to the shoes on um under armour’s website, because they do still have a few deals for the end of the year and they might have a coupon I’ll check if I find one I’ll put it down there as well, and then I’ll also give you the amazon uh link, because I did order these directly from under armour, but because of the black friday deal, they told me, shipping was going to be delayed.

It took eight nine days nine days to get here. So if you want it in that prime two day I’ll try to find them on amazon, I’ll link that down below for you as well. Overall, I am happy with my purchase. My purchase is because we can’t forget this hoodie I mean. Am I glowing now that I’m out in the sun yeah I’m addicted to color? Oh, I love bright colors so so much and as I say that the sun’s coming out even like harder on my face, starting to sweat just a little bit, I do want to tell you that I am an affiliate of under armour.

So that’s why I went with this company. This go around for shoes, but let me explain how this happened. I reached out to four big name: fitness apparel and shoe companies or shoes apparel. Should I have separated that anyhow, I reached out to them when my youtube channel started taking off for my fitness videos. Hey good morning, everybody um so I’m Armour’s that I got here. My new running shoe I had a pair of Under Armour, spines and yeah they’re they’ve got a ton of miles on them, so these are the Under Armour charged rogues, I, normally wear a size 11 in Under Armour, but for running shoes, I go up a half a size, four foot swell and they seemed all done under armours. Pretty much seemed to run true to size that I’ve had so anyway. Here we go. These are brand new, just got them.

A lot of good reviews seem to be a good looking shoe, really flexible nice, rubber bottom and center that foamy stuff the insoles seem to be glued in. So that’s good, nice and flexible lightweight. So no! No, if you guys could see that the shoes together are one pound. Eight point three ounces. So that’s not too bad, it’s pretty lightweight! So anyway, there they are got a nice breathable mesh upper got this nice plastic piece plastic. You rubbery piece on the back for your heel counter anyway, I’m gonna go! Do a three-mile run on him real, quick and uh.

This little part will be on on gravel and then I’m gonna hit paved so I’ll, be on the I’ll, be on the asphalt three mile, we’ll check out the we’re on the bottom and a shoe. What it looks like and get that and get that done. I’ll give you guys an update all right, so I ended up doing almost four miles in them on these Under Armor drugs, drugs, great shoe, yeah I have no complaints even runnin. It’s it’s really wet out my watch right into my smooth garage floor.

They were super grippy, weren’t slick at all, great forward, energy, no foot fatigue in them, and you know they were right out of the box, put them on and did some stretching and warm it up and took off kept a pretty fast stride. It was about a seven twenty mile, so not too bad but I. Even you know, kind of I run pretty neutral mile and pretty four-foot or mid foot. Excuse me, I! Don’t do a lot of over pronation, so I even tried dragging my you know, kind of landing heel, first, pretty heavy and you know sorry they’re a little wet, but no real, wear on them whatsoever.

So great shoe, no complaints. These are the underarmor charge. Strobes and I’m gonna keep putting miles on them and this the heel counter it does it. The heel, pocket kind of goes in there a little bit deeper in this heel counter this rubber piece on the back does kind of secure your heel and they’re. Really nice, they breathe really well, no foot fatigue, no leg fatigue, shin fatigue, nothing so yeah great shoe can’t complain so far and I’ll keep putting miles we’ll see how it goes and if something does happen well, you know they start falling apart or started getting issues with the the shoes, the structure and all that I’ll give you guys an update, but there’s no update great shoe.
