Medium to soft wet it's nice and playful. There is a little bit of response and snap in there as well because it helps with the surf you feel to it. The camber is fusion rocker camber so. You've got a rocker section in the center to help with flow and take away a kind of catchy feel and then you've got a slight camber under the front foot and. Then a more aggressive prominent camber. Under the back foot that's gonna give you a ton of a ton of performance and pop when you're riding around and it's. Gonna give you a lot of a grip and edge hold when you're carving and laying down new cards on the piste the base is a. Duracell xt wintered base really fast absorbs works really well really. Open pores and there yeah retains the way that you put on it for a long time and it will perform on. All conditions all snow types whether you're on piste or you're in powder keep you guiding all day long as. Always never saw my graphic serve pretty awesome so the top sheets pretty bright and vibrant really good kind of texture to it as well know it's kind of lifestyle imagery in there were really poppy kind of blues and green never summer logo up at the top pretty smart ish here so the mavericks has got never sort of super light wood core which is you can tell by the name of it's really light they've. Stripped away any kind of excess materials and source to really light woods that they've made very thin. So it just kind of strips away any excess weight it's also quite durable. The idea behind that is it absorbs any chatter and increases the stability when. You're riding at speed you've also got a. Carbon max laminate layup see you got. Carbon strips that extend out to the. Edges of the board from the center it that increases the rigidity of the board torsion ally increases the response and. Also helps with energy transfer so for when you're going from one edge to the other it's gonna help you out in that. Respect it's gonna help you get from your heel to your toe and vice versa so. Hybrid shape it's using two of member summer shape from blending them all into one, so we've got a slightly more aggressive rips off profile in. The back which is bitten snap here a bit. More responsive so bit more tail dominant at the same time you've got a nice meme lol ridge '''l rocker profile so really listen to the soft snow tree so if you're finding soft powder riding. Little bit too difficult this will really float up and make it a lot easier really manageable flex on this board is. Work which just means it's it planes. Really nice and a softer snow especially as contact once a word it low down get. That really long wide nose it just. Planes really nice today.

Hey what's up this is trevor macaques we're out here at copper mountain 4si a. 2017 on snow demo really high spring for. You guys next year's 2017 2018 new board in the. Never summer shaper series lineup the mavericks of the few boards in the. Shaper series the mavericks is going to be the big gun of them all I'm a bigger dude I'm like 63 200 plus pounds so i. Kind of preview this one a little more edge hold for me the key story on all. The shaper series boards are the hybrid. Are cutex cambered profile so never some. Is pretty known for their reverse camber underfoot and chamber from insert. Patterns to nose and tail and what they. Did is on their wrist saw model they may. Be the amount of chamber a little bit. More aggressive and they took that same. Technology mixed it into the back foot on the shaper series so it kept the front foot a little bit mellower so it basically gives you a lot more energy to drive and rail turns out of your back foot which is what this board kind of designed to do it's great on the hardpack which we're riding here today it's just drive turns in and out if you. Like the car if you like to go fast i highly recommend this board definitely. Obviously with the set back inserts and. The pretty extreme taper with fat nose. It's going to have great float ins house. Also you know with every never summer they have a killer warranty their boards are just built like bulletproof three years warranty on everything got their super fast wintered base probably one of the faster. Hey what's up guys tj here today I'm out riding at Breckenridge checking out the never summer instigator snowboard. Starting off the day riding out here with ryan knapton in horseshoe bowl got. Some fresh snow it's a little bit chunky but a good way to start the day, and then we're gonna head down hit some groomers and hit some park on this guy as well This board is part of never summers shaper series so it's gonna have some pretty unique features to it has an interesting camber profile it kind of combines the ripsaw and the regular. Rocker camber so overall this is gonna be a rocker dominant board with camber. Under your feet with the fusion camber with what they're calling it you get twice as much camber under your back foot and then the regular amount of camber under your front. This is also a pretty wide snowboard. It's about 26 and a half centimeters at the waist so much wider than most boards. That size this is a 151 that I'm on today but even the shorter sizes and the bigger sizes across the board or 26 and. A half so this is a really solid board for carving you can really lay those turns over and not really have to worry about you it's also gonna have a 12. Millimeter taper so the tail is a little bit narrower than the nose that's gonna help drop that tail and powder another thing that works in conjunction with that taper to help this guy flow a little bit better in powder is the overall directional shape so outside the. Contact points this guy has a really short stubby tail and a longer. Nose as far as the flex goes I'd say. This guy is pretty medium flex maybe just on the stiffer side of medium that rocker dominant shape allows you to get a little bit more leverage for your presses and butters and things like that so you can definitely still get some presses going on this guy and it's pretty solid for buttering as well. Today is really fun for carving it's really grippy snow and allows you. To set a very strong edge which is a lot of fun out here today the extra width on the instigator is gonna allow you to really lay turns over as well this is a really solid carving snowboard but it's also gonna be really versatile honestly it reminds me a lot of the ride war pig except it's like a rocker dominant version of the war me i will say though. On harder packed snow it feels a little bit loose does have a pretty significant. Rocker to it and when you're flat base on a cat track it does want to swivel. That rockered center axis Top is pretty average on this guy i. Wouldn't say that it's as poppy as other never summers have riddance like the fun slinger or the prototype too but once you get to the end of that rocker and start to load up the camber it does have a decent amount of boost to give you just have to work with that camber profile before you can get the board to load up a little extra effort on ollie's but overall this is a really versatile. Snowboard if you want to take it to the park it's gonna be fun in there if you want to do some carving it's gonna handle really well and allow you to lay over those terms pretty aggressively it's gonna float and powder i would say. What's up guys tj here with snowboardprocamp today I'm on the never. Summer fun slinger we're at the top of the i-70 park at keystone resort, and we're about to hit some rails let's do it. What's up guys so the 2017 fun slinger. Has not changed at all since 2016 it's a. True twin freestyle board with what never summer rates as a soft flex. So also got an asymmetrical side cut so. The heel side is about 10% deeper than. Your toeside so that's going to make for naturally more aggressive heel side. Carves. It also runs they're very oh pal grip. Side cut so that adds a couple of contact points underfoot it's not as aggressive as arbors grip tech side cut but it does help a lot on that icier. Terrain when you're struggling for grip. It also runs a wintered base so it's. Going to be harder and more durable than some lower end boards going to be faster. As well and you need to make sure to wax this guy every once in a while its porous it can dry out you want to make. Sure you're pushing wax into those pores regularly. This is actually a brand-new board I'm on today so it carves really well it's got some sharp edges it has the vario power grip side cut it's carving really well but when you're sideways on a rail that rocker makes it really forgiving and it. Gives it a really catch free feel which is reassuring that also helps when you're flat base you can swivel and you aren't catching your edge. All right so keystone literally just opened their jump line to be my first jumps of the year so I'm thinking. Straight airs but uh and ii. Yeah those jumps are sick back to the. Rail lines get it. Yeah those uh those jumps are sweet the. Board felt really good stable on landings i went pretty deep on them too and i felt really stable the whole time so I'm stoked on that let's try to ollie. Some step. phone slinger has been a ton of fun out here today flex wise never somerset is. Just a soft flex if i had to put a number on it I'd probably say about a 4 out of 10 and it's pretty playful but it's still snappy and responsive it's been a lot of. Fun carving that asymmetrical side cut really gets you more aggressive on your. Heels so overall i would say this is a. Killer board for the park but it's still. What's up guys tj here today I'm at. Keystone resort and I'm checking out the 2017 never summer prototype to the. Prototype 2 is an all mountain snowboard and it's a true twin so it's a really versatile board rides exactly the same in both directions and it's built to pretty much just take anywhere and do anything as far as the camber profile goes on this guy it has a hybrid camber. Profile rocker between the feet with camber underfoot it's never summer's ripsaw camber profile never summer rates. The flex on this board is a medium flex and I'd say they hit that nail on the head pretty well I'd rate it rights around a 5 out of 10. We've had some icy patches out here and also some good carving snow but in the. Variable conditions it's just held a really strong edge and the side cut is also a lot of fun for carving i think it's a little bit more aggressive than the fun slinger i think never summer did a really great job when they designed the side cut on this board it's nice and aggressive on your toes and it matches nicely on your heels too I'm an advocate for asymmetrical side cuts you guys have trouble turning on your heels i highly recommend giving it a try or even if you don't it's just a lot of fun it's a noticeable addition to the board that a some side cut is pretty sweet in my opinion I'd say this board has pretty. Average pop that rocker dominant profile. Kinda makes it a little bit more difficult to load up the tail and get the pop out of it you have to kind of reach the end of the rocker before it starts to load up the camber and then it'll pop so a little bit more effort goes into loading it up but I'd say still have some decent pop you just got to give it a little extra effort to overcome that rocker being an all. Mountain board we took this guy through the park as well had a lot of fun lapping a 51 here today this board holds it down well on rails and jumps. Sokka's between the feet gives you a really nice and catch-free feeling when you're sliding sideways on rails and that overall rocker profile helps with getting into presses and trying those more technical tricks so even though it has that medium flex it's still a lot of fun on rails and you can do pretty much any trick you want to do on rails and take it from the small features to the big features this board is gonna handle it all in all I'd say this is really an all-mountain go anywhere board so. What do you want to do some carving and cruising going at high speeds or you. Want to hit the park keep some rails hit some jumps this board is gonna perform it's gonna be a lot of fun so just a really versatile all-mountain board from. Gonna be pretty great for anyone to just jump in whether you're a beginner or experienced rider it does have these speed lace system so there're two ropes on the side that you might be familiar with and with that there is a lifetime warranty through burton now the liner is heat moldable and is it has 3m. Th insulate insulation and an imprint 2 liners with a velcro cuff closure so just. To make sense of that it is heat moldable so you can bring it into a local shop they get heat will dip for you and it's gonna be that amazing custom fit otherwise with that heat molding technology the body heat just from your own body while you're riding is gonna mold it as well and it's just gonna be that truly custom fit now with the 3m insulate technology it's gonna be a super warm but boot without all that bulk now the. Imprint 2 liners means that this is a really great liner the highest-level from burton is an imprint 3 so this is right up there and it's gonna just it's. Gonna withstand the wear and tear for much longer than say an imprint 1 now it does have that velcro cuff closure as well so it's gonna be a super tight closure around your shin and ankle and it's gonna be super secure fit now for. Hey guys michelle here from the house comm and today I'm talking about the 2018 burton limelight with the bella women's snowboard boot so this is a medium flex boot so anyone can really jump on it whether your experience or you're a newer rider and have a pretty good feel for the boot now the difference between this limelight and the speed based limelight is a couple things not only just a boa system, and we'll get into that just a little bit but the amazing thing about this boa system if you're not familiar with this boot that there's an integrated three lacing system so it's gonna really increase the heel hold in a couple of areas and a lot of people find that super helpful especially if you have it maybe a little bit smaller ankles it's really nice to have that increased heel hold now with the boa system if you're worried with the added technology there is a lifetime warranty on the boa system itself now to get into the liner it is. Heat moldable and it has 3m insulate insulation and imprint 2 liners and a volk row velcro cuff closure so to kind. Of digest what all that means the heat moldable liner wait if you want to bring it to your local shop they can warm it up for you and it'll really give you that custom fit right off the bat otherwise the heat moldable liner is also moldable just by your body heat so if you're out riding it's really gonna give you that custom fit that you know and love now for the 3m insulate insulation it's gonna keep your foot super warm without all the bulk that old snowboard boots needs to have so the imprint 2 liners is great it's gonna hold up pretty well to all the wear and tear that the boots go through obviously so you'll have these piece for quite a long time now the velcro cuff closure there is two velcro cuffs on the. Hey what's up guys tj here today I'm out riding at Breckenridge checking out the never summer instigator snowboard. Starting off the day riding out here with ryan knapton in horseshoe bowl got. Some fresh snow it's a little bit chunky but a good way to start the day, and then we're gonna head down hit some groomers and hit some park on this guy as well This board is part of never summers shaper series so it's gonna have some pretty unique features to it has an interesting camber profile it kind of combines the ripsaw and the regular. Rocker camber so overall this is gonna be a rocker dominant board with camber. Under your feet with the fusion camber with what they're calling it you get twice as much camber under your back foot and then the regular amount of camber under your front. This is also a pretty wide snowboard. It's about 26 and a half centimeters at the waist so much wider than most boards. That size this is a 151 that I'm on today but even the shorter sizes and the bigger sizes across the board or 26 and. A half so this is a really solid board for carving you can really lay those turns over and not really have to worry about you it's also gonna have a 12. Millimeter taper so the tail is a little bit narrower than the nose that's gonna help drop that tail and powder another thing that works in conjunction with that taper to help this guy flow a little bit better in powder is the overall directional shape so outside the. Contact points this guy has a really short stubby tail and a longer. Nose as far as the flex goes I'd say. This guy is pretty medium flex maybe just on the stiffer side of medium that rocker dominant shape allows you to get a little bit more leverage for your presses and butters and things like that so you can definitely still get some presses going on this guy and it's pretty solid for buttering as well. Today is really fun for carving it's really grippy snow and allows you. To set a very strong edge which is a lot of fun out here today the extra width on the instigator is gonna allow you to really lay turns over as well this is a really solid carving snowboard but it's also gonna be really versatile honestly it reminds me a lot of the ride war pig except it's like a rocker dominant version of the war me i will say though. On harder packed snow it feels a little bit loose does have a pretty significant. Rocker to it and when you're flat base on a cat track it does want to swivel. That rockered center axis Top is pretty average on this guy i. Wouldn't say that it's as poppy as other never summers have riddance like the fun slinger or the prototype too but once you get to the end of that rocker and start to load up the camber it does have a decent amount of boost to give you just have to work with that camber profile before you can get the board to load up a little extra effort on ollie's but overall this is a really versatile. Snowboard if you want to take it to the park it's gonna be fun in there if you want to do some carving it's gonna handle really well and allow you to lay over those terms pretty aggressively it's gonna float and powder i would say.
