Your helmet is as essential to shredding as your ski poles or your snowboard boots, so it shouldn’t feel like a burden when you’re wearing one. The Smith Women’s Vantage Helmet offers lightweight and stylish protection with features designed to enhance comfort and provide superior safety on the slopes.
This season, Smith engineered the Vantage with Aerocore construction, which combines lightweight EPS construction with revolutionary Koroyd material. This unique material absorbs more impact than traditional foams while simultaneously improving breathability and reducing weight and bulk. The result is greater comfort, a lighter feel, and improved protection. AirEvac 2 ventilation features 21 vents that can be fully opened on warm spring days, partially closed when temps drop, or completely shut in the middle of a snowstorm.
The Nanosilver lining has a women-specific fit and anti-odor features that keep the helmet from getting too funky. The Snapfit SL2 Ear Pads provide a warm and cozy seal around your ears on colder days, and they’re removable for comfort of warm spring days. Plus, they’re compatible with Skullcandy audio systems (sold separately) so you can crank up the tunes to keep you stoked while you shred.
You. This is what’s left of my 2014 smith. Vantage helmet i really like everything. About the features but just wanted to share my experience taking a good hit with it took a hit to the back of the. Head i caught a heel side edge and landed on some ice as you can see like a. Good single impact helmet got lots of. Cracking right around the area of impact but then also other cracks throughout. The shell all the way up to the front as that energy is dispersed this is their choroid material that they claim. Disperses the energy 30% more effectively for my money i got up i was. Laughing i did not realize how hard i. Had hit and i rode the rest of the day so that’s why i have another one of these in the mail so smith vantage highly recommended.

Stay safer on the slopes without sacrificing style or comfort with the Anon Women’s Omega MIPS Helmet. In-mold construction keeps it lightweight and low-profile so you’ll hardly even notice it’s there, and the 360-degree Boa fit system lets you fine-tune the fit with the twist of a dial for a secure, comfy fit that’s free of pressure points. MIPS technology reduces the force of angled impacts, which are common when you take a spill while going downhill. Active ventilation lets you control the amount of air flowing through the fifteen vents, allowing you to quickly make minor adjustments so you stay comfortable throughout the day. Long hair fleece on the liner and ear pads offer plush warmth, but you can also take out the liner when you just want to rock a beanie underneath.
You’re probably not thinking about how your Smith Women’s Vantage MIPS Helmet looks, feels, or protects your head when you’re skiing pow, but you can rest assured that it does all three damn well. For starters, Smith equipped this helmet with a Multi-directional Impact Protection System, more commonly known as MIPS, that uses a thin inner layer that rotates ever so slightly in order to disperse impacts across the whole helmet instead of the point of contact.
MIPS isn’t the only innovative technology that makes the Vantage one of the best helmets on the market. Its Hybrid SL shell places bombshell ABS on top and lightweight, in-mold PC around the sides for a low-profile fit. Aerocore construction uses specialized Koroyd foam for improved airflow, ventilation, impact-resistance, and fog-free vision. Boa’s FS360 adjustable system has a wrap-around halo design for a truly secure fit. AirEvac 2 ventilation uses a low-profile dual regulation that lets you open and close the front half, back half, or all 21 vents for optimized climate control. The goggle lock and Snapfit SL2 ear pads are removable, and you can insert Skullcandy audio systems into the ear pads for a musical fiesta in terrain parks and powder-filled bowls.
Hi my name is matt here at powder seven and I’m going to talk about the smith bandage helmet the smith managed helmet is incredibly popular and has been an industry favorite for several seasons smith incorporates all the most up-to-date safety technologies to make sure you’re as protected as possible on the mountain the hybrid sl shell utilizes choroid. Construction to provide impact resistance while reducing weight and improving air flow at the same time the helmet I’m showing includes the available mips option which is designed to disperse rotational impact in the fall but the bandage is also available without mips for a lower price with 21. Adjustable vents you will always be able to find the right temperature and the removable ear pads are soft and warm and can be easily washed they also feature drop-in compatibility with outdoor tech chips so you can ride with music a bow. Adjustable fit system lets you dial the fit to exactly your head shape the vintage works well with most goggles on the market today but is designed to integrate perfectly with smith goggles to provide fog-free days on the hill and it will also help you avoid the dreaded goggle gap I’ve been using the smith vantage for the past two seasons its just one of those pieces of kit you don’t have to worry about keeps you warm keeps you cool has all the safety features you could want and it’s a great option

Okay what’s up guys i got another snowboarding overview for you guys today it is the electric eg 2.5 s and. These are a little bit smaller than eg twos what like just barely like i opened. Then up earlier i couldn’t even tell the difference but these are the pat more. Edition which i thought was like the coolest design color like it was new. Like i never seen it before it was funny. But uh these retail like on the website. For about 185 like this particular one. But eg 2.5 this range anywhere from one. One sixty-two one nine i believe and. Well i got these off amazon for like 78. Dollars or something so buy a shirt off. Amazon you’ll save a lot of money um the blends color is bronze slash gold. Chrome so it’s got that nice little tint. To it um yeah let’s get to opening it up. Alright so here’s the case it comes in get to that in a little bit here’s the box this plain box without a top and on. The inside and you got is that the right. Way now that’s the right way got all the. Different lens colors and like that. Electric offers and all the different goggles and then right there it has like. I’m pointless is recommended use and. Like the fitting diagram i mean if you don’t know how to wear goggles and mentally retarded so here’s the case. Right it’s nice and strong definitely. Feels like it’s going to protect your goggles that’s pretty much what it’s all about right got the electric logo right there it’s. Got a zipper doesn’t get stuck or. Anything um then yeah there’s the. Goggles you open it up comes in this. Little case tell most of the stecchino. Everyone loves stickers you know I’m just gonna throw them to the side I’m not really a big sticker. Kid but that’s the case no nice and. Sturdy now to the goggles. Okay comes in like a nice little carrying case type thing it’s soft so i. Guess it also protects is like a screen or lens cleaner so you get the guys out. And here they are eg 2.5 hat more. Audition and i don’t know i just love. The whole they’re called the beer. Goggles which i think is hilarious it’s. Probably backwards for you guys out now. These beer goggles it’s got the electric. Logo on the sides and i don’t know if. You could see that’s kind of like beer and then like the foam of thought. The lighting’s kind of shitty but lenses. There’s so much transparent now, but they do reflect the light but like you see my hand behind it the ventilation is real. Good so i mean you’re not gonna be. Sweating so much you’re gonna be getting some air oh you got a ventilations on. The bottom you got a couple on the top. So that’s good it’s real soft let’s see what this says. It was kind of like the tag type things. As pat more and power signature it’s not. Like a real soon as your it kind of has. All the stuff on any no electric visual. Writing inspired design series it’s rides or ridge yeah you go just state. You know those are the easy twos. Twenty-fives uh see how they look real. Quick uh so like they’re not they’re not. Really that small actually like their perfect size for me like i don’t really. Have that small of a head face or. Whatever so like it fits me well so i. Mean not like i did a review on the. Dragon ap x’s last year which i love. Those guys they were the best but unfortunately they were stolen from me. Because i left them with my friends when i went to the bathroom or something i told him watch him, and they just left. Left my god was on the table and someone just came up and swiped them i mean there are nice pair of goggles, but they. Got jacked but so lock your up yeah. That’s a lesson that i learned and you guys should probably listen boy what was. I am say oh yeah but those lenses on the. Jag and ap axes were huge right but like i mean they’re understandably big you. Know cuz it’s for greater peripherals or whatever but like they were big but it looks good you know, but they. Make they make these out to seem like. The little brother of the eg twos so. Like they say like it makes it seem like they’re gonna be like a so much smaller like they’re gonna be for like kids faces and stuff but there are good sized. You know like you can see it in my hands. I don’t have huge hands but i don’t have small hands you know but like you. Compare kind of it fit nice um to my. Face well they’re curved to fit your. Face so it doesn’t feel super uncomfortable um yeah it’s the eg 2.50. Anything else oh yeah got spherical. Lenses and that’s what allows for the peripherals or whatever peripheral vision so that way you don’t like. Running the trees or anything and that’s good because as you can see it’s curved. This way and this. Was that’s good so you can kind of see out the corner of your eye you know for. Those skiers that just cut you off you can see them coming a little bit faster maybe push them over and you know everyone hates skiers everyone um. I guess for except maybe other skews i. Would say there’s a few that are cool though but yeah that’s the easy to point. Five is the pat moore edition really. Nice if you’re gonna get a pair game off amazon you’ll save a lot of money that way and have a good day guys.
Hello these are the electric eg 2.5. Goggles that have a larger frame than. Average has an anti-fog and an anti scratch hard coating 100% uv protection and a great amount of ventilation both on the frame and on the lens now the eg. 2.5 s will have an oversized spherical. Style poly carbonate lens with an internal anti reflective ar coating now. That coating actually reduces the amount of light that’s going to bounce around on the inside of the goggle when you’re riding around giving you a better view of what’s actually happening on the outside now the frame is an ergonomic oh sir more plastic your thing with mold. Injection i like this framing because. It’s a little bit different than the eg b-2s and the egb 2 because it does have. It still has like that foam ventilation on top but it does sound like these there was a little bit larger supports on top meaning that this thing is just gonna be a little bit more rigid and the lens isn’t going to distort as much on your face when you’re riding same thing with the bottom there’s a nice little bit of foam now it doesn’t have. Any ventilation on the sides and that’s okay though because these goggles breathe well no matter what now the ug. 2.5 s will have a triple layer of foam. With a nice little fleece finish to it and in extra wide for 40 millimeters you. Strap or the dual adjust ability now i like these goggles not only do they look. Cool they have cool colorway is awesome lenses and such, but they have like. A kind of centralized strap location now that strap is it all the way next year faced it and it isn’t all the way to the outside of the goggle meaning that you can ride with it with a beanie on or a helmet and it’s going to be comfortable so there you have it this is. The eg 2.5 from electric and you can. Check it out from the house calm.

Giro’s signature Expansion View Technology ensures a massive field of view, so you can see skiers jutting into your path on crowded groomers and quickly negotiate around trees. The spherical Vivid lens by Zeiss provides a clear window to the alpine world, so you can make it down the mountain when blowing snow, incoming clouds, and blinding sunshine threaten your vision. It’s finished with an anti-fog treatment, so you’re still able to see clearly while your friends are constantly wiping their lenses on stormy powder days. Also, there’s plush triple-layer foam that lovingly conforms to your face without creating irritation.

Additionally, you’ll find the plush face foam features integrated venting to reduce fogging in wet conditions.
It’s equipped with Bern’s LensPop technology, which allows for painless lens swapping with seven points of retention for security when changing between lenses. There’s an included bonus lens for adapting to varying conditions, whether it rapidly clears up after a snowstorm or you’re faced with socked-in conditions at the summit of your favorite mountain. Both lenses feature a mirrored finish for optimized clarity and increased contrast in specific lighting conditions.

Hi everybody sean sewell with in-game accom here we are our here in colorado. Testing out the sweet protection trooper nips helmet this orange guy right here this has a really sweet home for a lot of reasons yes it has mips technology so. That goes with your head and all that wonderful stuff, but they have a dual density system that will go into further details in the written review below but essentially it has different kinds of foams in different places to best. Protect your head in any given situation. One of our favorite features of this helmet is its compactness it’s very streamlined compared to la blair helmets this is a size small medium up to 55. Centimeters is what they recommend my head’s right at 55 centimeters so it fits me very snugly it’s almost too snug but just about right there’s no gapping moving back and forth it is dialed in. History I’m valentina can battle in back here to adjust as you probably saw back here the goggle strap is easy to use big old snap right there goes into place there are air bands right here you can. Easily manipulate back and forth where. Are they oh yeah boom easy breezy they circulate all the. Way through the helmet it’s pretty lightweight as well it’s like the ultimate protection it’s really high-end well how they msrp on a given website. Below here some cons a little bit of gap. In with the smith io7 goggles just a slight bit you can feel a breeze a little bit not they’re not a game changer one of my favorite features though is actually the ear pads they’re not as well insulated as some of the helmets but that’s to our benefit here the back country cuz i can hear my tour buddies a lot better, so they’re nice ear. Pads they go right to hear very well by key here very well — so big plus my book. Overall great helmet from a great. Company a lot of technology packed into this puppy they’ve made to keep you safe from impact we’ll have all further specs. On the review below an endearment calm. Have fun and safe season take care. You.
Everybody shawnsmith in gear Montcalm we are testing out seat protections igniter. Mips helmet now last year we tested out. Suit protections trooper mips helmet it’s a fantastic helmet they sure test out the igniter and although they have it as one step lower or price wise in their catalog i don’t think it gives up any major features and in fact i personally like it better than the trooper for a few reasons I’m gonna go over that a little bit detail so let’s take it all in here it is the igniter. Mips stands for multiple impact protection system what does that mean to you keep your brain safer well make you. Smarter but should you get in an accident it helps pivot a little quicker and it’s just it’s just better for you okay we’ll have the link up next below has a lot of. Features you probably saw that’s here really cool there’s only two ways to adjust these two things right here boom open close go through a whole. System right here keeping your head nice and warm on cold days like today or cool. One on warm days sometime later on in the year so also you’ll see back here. Your goggle straps in place and it’s. Been goggle compatible Aragon with testing so far these are the zeal goggles with me have them in review here’s a minute the biggest ones we have. In the test, so we figured what we want here you can see no gaper gap so of course it fits Smithson spies and harness all that they fit great so little. Features make this great us hairy people. With beards this chat strap of super soft against your skin and even as little rubberized pull over here to keep it easier to do with your big old gloves off so little things like that going a long way cool feature that like with suit protection besides I’m using mips and no great construction is the air pads you can hear i feel like you can hear better than you can other helmets and that’s really kept in the back country user comms and your check and andrea is trying to be observant of the terrain and conditions around you and you have dogs with you bark and you wanna you want to be present i like having that ability to hear better that’s really important to me whatever so anyways this. Hooked up with Anon’s ingenious Magnetic Facemask Integration (MFI) tech, the Women’s Deringer MFI Goggles is a classic cylindrical goggle with four magnetic attachment points for a seamless connection with the included MFI Facemask. MFI gives you full protection from the biting cold and driving snow, which is especially useful when it’s howling like a hurricane on the summit or you get trapped on a chairlift in the brutal cold.
Besides its innovative MFI technology, the Deringer MFI Goggles deliver a classic cylindrical design with an unobstructed field of view, thanks to Anon’s Wall-To-Wall Vision. This design pairs a low-profile frame with thinner face foam, so you can see everything on the mountain with a large, unobstructed field of view. The cylindrical lens sports Integral Clarity Technology (ICT) for moisture-shedding performance, paired with full perimeter venting for fog-free vision when it’s dumping snow at prolific rates or you’re riding through the clouds on the summit.

I’m royal with a nan here to talk to you. About the derringer goggle the derringer is a women’s specific model featuring. Mfi magnetic face mask integration this. Ensures a seamless fit between face mask and goggle it’s also otg or over the. Glass compatible it also features wall-to-wall peripheral. Vision which gives you a very wide field of vision with a nice small petite goggle size.
Hey guys michelle here from the house comm and today I’m talking about the 2018 annan derringer mfi women’s goggles. So just to kind of do a little. Disclaimer to start if you’re kind of trying to buy different goggles based on the strap and the frame kind of cuz it matches the whole getup that you have now noted that with the color change of. The entire goggle you’re also going to have a lens change color most likely so. With that being said different lenses are going to be good for different things so writing in the day versus the night is going to be totally different so make sure that you scroll down on those and goggle pages and check out the vlt chart based on the lens that the. Goggle that you want comes with so the lower the number the darker the goggle so say a dark smoked lens would be a. Very low percentage gonna be really great for those super sunny days with that bright snow not super great for night riding whereas a clear lens might. Be something like 85% so a very high number gonna be really great for a night riding maybe not as much for those snowing days so these specifically. Have a very dark lens on them so not so great for night riding really great for day riding out west especially, and they have a really killer design super fl orally on the inside with actually some skulls so it’s kind of different there on the dead we have kind of black pattern finish on. These too so it’s not just a black strap it’s got a little bit more something sassy to it and just a really cool subtle design on the frame as well um. And with these we have a full perimeter channel venting so that’s gonna help keep the air faux air flow going through these and really help with the anti-fog technology too, and then we have that cylindrical shape for these lenses I’m. And that’s really gonna help with the peripheral vision of these you can really tell it mimics kind of the natural curvature of the human eye and. Then the frame is very flexible we have a thermoplastic polyurethane flame and. Frame and it does work with them over the glasses too so it does have that over the glass technology and then with. The phone here we do have the double layer foam and then that fleece on the. Insides and it’s gonna be a super comfy ride and i think one of the coolest things about some inin technology is. That they have these face masks that they do come with the mfi goggles and just some magnets on the. Bottom here just right on there and then. You have that seamless protection and most of them are gonna be a little bit different for example this one isn’t like over design it just has that pink stitching to match kind of the pink on the goggles but some of them are super cool and just match very well suit. The specific goggles that you have but if you want to take them off you literally just pull right on down so it’s a super convenient feature that comes with the mfi goggles so you can. Find the 2018 an and derringer mfi women’s goggles at the house calm.
Giro’s new Women’s Ceva Helmet offers all the features and comfort you need for a day on the slopes, but at an approachable price. Its durable, low-profile hard shell design doesn’t feel bulky or cumbersome on your head, and you can easily customize the fit thanks to an easy-to-use dial at the back. If things heat up when you’re wiggling perfect turns in fresh powder, the adjustable top vents give you the ability to let some of that warm air out. Giro’s Stack Ventilation system takes the moist air and directs it away from your goggles to prevent fogging so you can keep on skiing.
From pristine powder tucked away in the trees to beautiful turns on fresh morning corduroy, the Salomon Women’s Quest Access Helmet delivers you to the goods while protecting your noggin in streamlined style and lightweight comfort. Boasting Twinshell construction, the Quest Access features a lightweight In-Mold lower shell, paired with a durable injected upper for an optimal balance between comfort and rugged protection. EPS 4D foam offers advanced crash protection by dissipating crushing impacts before they’re transmitted through the helmet. It’s finished with a soft-wearing liner that’s removable, so you can toss it in the wash after sweating on a warm spring day.
The Quest Access Helmet is audio compatible, easily integrating with your favorite aftermarket speakers for jamming out and answering calls on the mountain. The ear pads are perforated for better sound transmission, so you’re not totally oblivious to oncoming skiers and people talking to you on the chairlift. A sliding knob controls the Twinshell ventilation, allowing you to open and close vents to the specific conditions of the mountain. Moreover, there’s an adjustable fit system at the rear, which is controlled by a dial.
