You guys isn’t waking you watching my out their channel so. We have been doing like. That them trade welcome honest I’m again had a smoker. Ijust used my PC gas grill. What a gaze obviously cover up the specs McGrail. And used to smooth box. Most moving things came up with. Any bikini I lost stuff. That way over time talking my buddies. They mentioned bite. Or do our reviews a lot of people have waiting save. Some people don’t have good things stay back. When the biggest complaints I’ve seen from people is about the temperature not holding on the grill consistently. You look at what if. You build what they actually said don’t take. You will have a foxy seen between a certain should be sir a model the lower models degree the culture difference. That is the difference but. When the biggest things to is socially here on the East Coast. Any place worth pull. These insulation blankets. You should try to do grill out of the wind in an area. You can keep their constant out there. You can’t you need. Some additional they meet. These insulation blankets so monorail sits on the back porch tends to clean a little bit. And move out there on. One I’ll show and it’s. It holds pretty well. It has within 15 degrees carrot cake I’m new professional interior. Iam still learning a lot of stuff about. It but I’ve been enjoying it’s been probably in the 20s late 40s here with your cake. And I’ve been using I ever been doing these times so willing to give those a to go on by the blanket fort.
We did just arrived so. Ido have the Pro Series 22 grill. And a buddy breeze like. This is big reflective blanket right keep the heat in. And busy tricks are the grill the. One thing is I need directions into the box. Yet so only take this off slide open up the box on the ground alright, so we’re out here that’s my old grill over there it’s a Charbroil it’s two basically two parts the left side is the gas the right side is charcoal. And basically you can see at the top there the smokestacks. Or the heat vents everyone home is. Iwould just wrap aluminum foil around. And try to trap the smoke inside. And then just use a smoke box to do.
And then over here I have my new trigger. What I’ve done here is its away from the house the avoiding chances of firing like. That but I’ve also kind of put. It into a corner here to try to keep a lot of the wind off of. You need to tell it’s been snowing here temperatures are still pretty cold. And we’re expecting those thorn tonight, so I’m gonna uncover the grill. And we’re gonna try. And stall this blanket alright so the girls uncovered right. Now in basically as. Isaid it’s a pro series 22 probably about a month old. Now your take we really do enjoy using it I’ve been making a lot of different chicken on. And stuff definitely is a lot of cleaning I use. That pan down there but. Ijust cooked earlier today so thank. This thing gets scrub down after. Iget the blanket on. And we’ll go from there. We did end up buying some containers for the buckets just to catch the grease. And stuff in it is the grease out. You could just use aluminum foil. And make your life much easier.
You can see down there. Ido have a cover over the plate basically. All the grease goes on there. Ican take that cover. And place them go season. One well-to-do that so let’s get the cover on so. You would forget how to install. This is the cover one of the things to make sure you’re aware of. This product is willing to be used. If your trigger grill is equipped with a digital controller. And do not use this probably a fact I’m sure. You can see state of higher degrees Fahrenheit basically. You don’t want a lot of heat built up in there otherwise. This can melt things like. That’s the bottom piece. And then basically you just have. This top piece here. And well soon as gonna happen, so we’re basically gonna put. This over the grill. And secure all right, so I’ve been at. This for about 2-3 minutes. Ifigured out that at least the top cover part here on. And then this piece here just sits on the lip basically just locks in there so.
This drops there around the back here we’re gonna go under the grill. And then we’re gonna secure. That was all right so give. Me a moment all right. That was actually very easy to put on probably a total of five six minutes to do. It a long harsh is really understanding where the parts go let. That strap down there. It looks like it’s gonna be a pretty job tie wish. Me went down the sides a little. More maybe over time I’ll say a little bit better as. It gets opens up but it’s still really easy open up the cover. You can definitely feel. That extra we did add. It to the grounds to the cover of the grill. Isaid I’ve been holding pretty good temperature wise within. Iunderstand 15 degrees give. And I’m not sure how much. That affects the cooking right. Isaid I’m still really new to the trigger but I’m hoping now with. This cover on here in the colder wetter weather right.
Now it’ll help we do a lot of wild game cooking a lot of different meats out here we’ve done. Some Pig hunts and deer hunts ducks geese things like. That so we’ve been cooking them out on the grill. And hopefully I’ll get. Some videos of that coming out soon but. All together right now is a very easy fix it’s about $100 piece. You grill give or take depending on where. Igot on Amazon with free two-day shipping they came out. Now it’s installed so. We are good to go I want to try for the cover on. That affects at and give. You update in a moment so the cover is back on the grill so yeah the covers back on the grill. It doesn’t really look like. You effective the cover at. All the cover array seems short in general. Where the legs kind of stuck out. All time I would have to say that’s probably. One of the things that don’t like about.
This cover is that does leave parts of the grill exposed to the weather so. Iwill give it updates on. This to see if the tension actually works let. What you think if you’ve used them before. You see eight their friends. What other accessories are really a must-have a trigger. And hopefully coming soon I’ll have. Some videos up about just click on in general as. Isaid I’m no professional. Idoing this I’m really new to the whole wood pellet cookie on the grill but so far our chickens been coming out amazing our steaks. Or mouth-watering bacon. And the stuff I used to take. Me forever on this girl to do it’s just. This girl’s mean to do. This stuff on it so it’s been very helpful it’s been constant. One of the better best Christmas presents is presidents. Igot from the wife. It has been this girl, so I’m very grateful for. That alright guys you like.
This give it a thumbs up make sure. You subscribe to the channel until next time have a good day.
Installation blanket for my trekker pearl 22. Ijust purchased here recently we’ll put. It on see it goes but my plan is to use. It during the winter. And also the summer hopefully to drive. Some efficiency out of the smoker to keep the temperature. More in lines it at so we’ll try. It out sees it goes okay we’re on boxing it. And see what’s inside. Ihaven’t had a chance to open. Yet but let’s see let’s see what’s in there it’s kind of hard to do. One hand so hang on as. Iset up my tripod okay got the tripod set up hopefully. This will be in range as. This there are no instructions. This video will help. You okay got the tripod set up so. What I think we need to do so yeah so as. You can see these clip right on okay. All right and then we’ll take. This piece actually. This is actually quite simple. What I’m doing is with adjusting I’m just adjusting these. Idon’t know I like them. That way even spinning it out. That way this is the right way to do. It okays so we’ll reach from the back. And grab the straps. You know better yeah not too bad of a install like an illusion of performative. It was okay there. You go so we’ll have to turn. This back so the flat side. You want the facedown. And then of course put them through put them through. Both the loop so now you’ve. It in between both loops. And then you want to just grab. And take the end of the strap. And go underneath the loop so.
That way you can pull. It tight actually you know. That wasn’t to that wasn’t too bad. All right did you see the installation. You know a little bit overhangs with. That would also help. It seals of course and then there’s a Trager logo which looks pretty awesome just a little bit familiar that’s why there are no instructions. It was too simple okay, so we’ll give it a go. And test it out but yeah kind of pleased with. It fits nice and tight. Anything OEM always seems to well okay alright good didn’t see.
All right so here’s my review of. This new trigger cover its insulation blanket. Ireally like how fast. You can put it on basically. You have a clip here. And a clip here all the way around the trigger onto the back side here. You just cinch them down tight. It fully covers the whole barrel. And look at the temps 174 that’s on smoke. It is only 36 37 degrees out. Ijust put this on before. Ishould have taken a video. Iwas out a hundred. And seventeen degrees on the smoke setting so. Imean you’re talking 70. You know about you’re getting a about 70 degrees hotter. And it’s still climbing you know. That was 30 minutes. It was running for and was at 117 it’s been running for maybe five minutes so. It was really expensive there 150 bucks. This is for the Texas but it’s worth every penny I’m really happy with. This that’s perfect so 190. Or so the only downside is. Ihave can’t really see. Ihave a thermometer in here. Ican’t really use that anymore so that’s the only downside. They wouldn’t just you know put a hole. Icould always to puncture. One through but I really don’t wanna ruin a 200 dollar cover. And that’s about how much. It was in town here so like.
Just a warning to those of. You are gonna get the trigger lid. And filter kit I bloated a shields for $20 so. Ihad a nice little. We had to keep my poem. That looks nice filters. And bottom put peloton I’ve tried the slid on probably four. Or five different five-gallon buckets but you’re. All pretty standard. And guess what she will not fit. How in the hell do you mass-produce lids. And having the wrong fucking size.
