Oh really, I just wanted to show you the horn, the horn and this this little holder that velcro’s on is awesome for 9 99. You stick your cell phone in there and it has the touchscreen works and it uns unzips and you can put wallet keys. Hi, this is a quick review of the topic fuel tank. The fuel tank is a top tube mounted bag and what’s special about it and the reason I chose this one and not any of the others is because it’s got rather cleverly a little port here. So you can connect external devices. So, as you probably see from here, I’ve got a phone case and I wanted to be able to use my phone for navigation or just recording rides on Strava or just keeping it topped up during a long ride and I need some kind of external battery for that, because my battery doesn’t last too long and so I found this bag, which just seems to be perfect.
It comes in two different sizes, the large or medium. This is actually the medium size from what I can tell. The large is pretty much the same height, but just comes out a bit longer, maybe to around here or so. But I find this perfect for my requirements. It’s got a nice loop, pull zipper on. The top here looks like it’s got some sealing as well and to be honest, I haven’t actually tested the ceiling, because I haven’t actually ridden when it’s wet I’m a bit of a fair-weather Rider but and yeah that there’s some level of sealing on there, but I don’t know how it affect if it’s going to be and then inside the bag and there’s a reasonable amount of space, not a huge amount of space, but it’s okay and whether you can see but I’ve got an anchor power bank in here and it’s in a separate sort of netted elasticated compartment in and that just about fits with the cable.
This is a 10 000 milliamp hour anchor that I got off. Amazon and I can stick a link in the description below, and this has been fantastic actually and it’s got two ports which is really really useful, and so, if I wanted to charge phone- and maybe a GoPro as well could do that at the same time, and so that actually fits quite nicely in the side elastic area there. And that leaves you know: K amount of space in the rest of the bag for other stuff, and so I’ve got a little cable here and to charge up something microUSB in this case, it’s my lights and then I’ve just been carrying around a tire pressure, monitor and so I can check my tire pressures and then just an empty bag.
I keep some of my food in. So it’s an okay size. You can keep a few bars. You can keep a wallet, some keys and a few basic things. Basically, but it’s not huge, but then it’s not really getting in the way either so I find it pretty useful size and it seems to do the job that I bought it for and just secures on, the tube top tube here, underneath with some velcro and then on the front stem here again with some straps and some velcro and key seems to be don’t mount it too close to the front.
If you do going to get rubbing here when you’re, when you’re turning and that’s been fantastic and a few people seem to think that they knock their knees as they’re riding on here, but I haven’t had any problems like that at all, and yet it’s kept everything going and I can just plug in my phone and it’s been fantastic, so that is the toe peak fuel tank top chute bag I definitely recommend it.

Everyone welcome back to back during, have a look at the topic: fuel tank, large version. This is a top tube bag and it’s not completely. Waterproof is weatherproof. It has three attachment points. This one in the back is fixed. The one in the middle is mobile in order to accommodate other bike packing frames and the one in the front is also fixed on this side of the bag. We have an exit port for charging wires. For example, if we want to have a battery inside of the bag, we could have a wire coming out and charging devices which are mounted on the handlebar like a GPS or a mobile phone, the material of the strap it’s it’s kind of rubbery on on the part that will be in contact with the frame.
So that’s a very good thing, at least for these two straps. This one is just a normal meshing with Velcro attachment inside of the bag. We have a main compartment for the whole length of the bag. We have a webbing on the right side of the bag in order to keep things in place like keys or other small items. From going back and forth in the bag- and we also have a separator in case, we want to fix certain items in place. Okay, now, let’s go to the bike and mounting mounting on the frame.
This is my canyon and race. This is how the bag will fit on the bike. As you can see, this, this bike has a relaxed geometry, the big tube- and there is quite a slack angle for the for the fork and due to that, the bag will not fit flush with the flashbender stem. So we have this nice gap here, I’m going to purchase some tape to protect the frame in the near future. Okay, now I’m going to give you some some of them dimensions of the bag. You see how wide and tall it is. So we have about 23 centimeters here the height it’s around 12, centimeters and weight.
We have around seven centimeters. Okay, now that the bag is mounted I’m, going to show you how I’m going to use it and what I’m actually fitting in it I will give the separator have the dash for bit higher levels. This one is great as it takes very little space, don’t try to mix and the keys that will go in the mesh pocket, so no strike closing yeah. Tow peak fuel tank bag in median that I’ve been using for us three weeks, so it’s just a bag with one zip at the front. As you can see, it’s easy to do with one hand while you’re riding and it’s just one main compartment and there’s a small kind of mesh thing on the sides. You can just put a loose change of whatever you want in there, Fitz wallet, iPhone, 6 and keys, no problem, and then it’s got this cable thing.
If you want to charge your phone on your Garmin or whatever, if you’re gonna live around like I’ve done so the two straps on the bottom and one on here with these two I, probably recommend putting some electrical tape on your frame, first just to protect it from any damage and then once those two are tight, you can attach this one make sure you leave a bit of space in here. So then, once when you’re turning your handlebars you’ve got no no problems with it hitting.
