Okay, so today I wanted to talk about right. Now, it’s the men’s, I’ll tear down Triclimate jacket, I honestly, don’t remember how much I got this for that. I have seen that it’s currently on sale, so I was like okay, let’s talk about it hand, I’m wearing a medium honestly, it’s a little bit Maggie! It’s not too bad, though, because it has like adjustable cuffs and everything but I’ll get to it in a minute and I’ll talk.

I’ll, walk you a little bit through the psyche. My experience, what the what what I’ve used before, because I’ve used it for quite a bit of things, so yeah we’ll go and talk about that in a minute. I just wanted to show it off a little and tell you that it’s honestly really great jacket. If in you’re in the market, it is on sale, I saw in certain certain places, but yeah we’ll go through that in a minute.

-. Okay, so I wanted to talk a little bit about this jacket because, honestly, it’s a really great value for what you’re getting because this jacket first off is waterproof. It’s warm because it’s layered wood down and it’s considered a North Face three-in-one, which means three jackets for one you get either wear it separately with its down or with the down jacket only you could wear it on the outer layer which it’s the shell or you can wear it together for that combination of down heat and outerwear for its shell, which is waterproof for the heat and warmth combination.

Honestly, it’s a very good jacket, very good investment, especially if you’re looking for a winner or honestly, if it’s the perfect time right now for sale or something like that. But it’s up to you honestly I really like mine. It has adjustable cuffs right here. It has also adjustable. Let me take it off and show you it has an adjustable arm ventilation.

So you could just open this back if you get too hot within this jacket and it’ll show right there, there’s also like I mentioned the three in one combination piece. You could always just like unstrap a little bit of you just all you need to do. Is it comes with these loops and this? So you just have to pop that off.

Take that off clip it back in and then you just remove this and you were able to just unzip the inner part and just take it off and wear it either as the down or wear it as the outer layer or together and honestly, it’s like I’ve taken to skiing for skiing. It’s perfect I’ve taken this I’m just commuting during the winter when it’s been really cold.

It’s perfect! For that and honestly, it’s like for me I, believe I got it at full retail I can’t even remember what that is now, but we’ll go over a couple of the things that are on the site and we and I could just walk you through it. Really quick. Okay. So here we are on the North Face site. As you can see, it’s like I have two tabs open right now and we’ll get to the second tab in a second.

So it has 199 reviews it’s currently out of stock for this jackée, but, as you could see, we can go through some of the product snapshots and honestly, it’s pretty good, see the removable layer on the inside I just have to all-black one in medium. It honestly fits well I’ve taken this like and I’ve taken this like skiing, like I mentioned I’ve, taken this to New York, where in I would have to say early February and it was pretty cold and I’m was able to.

You know, keep myself warm in this. Let’s see a couple of the product snapshots designed for hiking, waterproof, windproof, hooded, 96% recommended I would recommend it. It’s a really great jacket, warmth, water, wind weight. It is a really heavy jacket. So if you don’t want to carry it all day, it’s like if it’s not gonna, be like a really cold day or if it’s not gonna, be like raining.

It’s like I would suggest that you decide which one you want to wear if it’s gonna be raining, but it’s still gonna be a little bit humid or hot, where the outer layer, the shell or, if it’s just gonna, be cold, but no rain. I would just wear the down itself and yeah. So it’s honestly a really great jacket.

A couple of the things that I did want to talk about was I did find this on another site and it was to a tee I think I, remember paying somewhere around like that price bait. Referring now you get it for 130 like. But you know it’s like price changes, prices fluctuate, I got a medium, medium fits me. The best if all North Face stuff has I always get medium.

Because that’s what fits me the best, but you might want to try a couple of different things, but I would have to say if you’re looking for a jacket that you’re gonna be using for like a long period of time like years, I would recommend this one. It’s one of my favorites, it’s one of my go-to for a winner and honestly, it’s like a great value for what you’re getting because you’ll be able to use this for years.

Let’s say ten years at this price: that’s probably at $13 a year, so ya know for a good quality jacket. That’s really that’s waterproof warm and you can separate it and you could wear it as two other jackets ya know it’s really it’s a really great deal other than that I would have to say that that’s just my experience with it.

If you’re in the market for a jacket, so I would have to say it’s like you. Could you always have to do your shopping, because there is a couple of other three ones that the north face sells and once that I’m probably going to talk about it in like future videos, because I do have one of their tri climates, but what the fleece on the inside I, don’t like it as much, but I’m it’s good for days where I’m not going into the office or I’m not commuting and I’m just wearing a casual shirt, because that’s more of a fashion piece and I’ll talk about that in a later video but yeah.

If you’re looking for a really great jacket, I would recommend this one. It was for me, it’s like it was the it was this one or it was like the McMurdo one, which is like a part cut that they sell. This is due to the three-in-one system. Let’s take a look at the specs. Shall we so the jacket itself is Gortex is 100% waterproof and lifetime guaranteed.

As long as you take care of the gore-tex, the gore-tex will take care of you now. The inner jacket as well is goose down. So that’s going to be really good because it’s gonna be lightweight. It’s going to keep you really warm and it’s also really breathable. It’s a really good insulator. So that’s great to see this in this jacket and I can’t wait to take a look at it in further detail.

Later, let’s go through some of the key features on the jacket itself, so the first thing you obviously have velcro adjusters on the cuff then so it means you can tighten up obviously loosen up the sleeves of your jacket. Now so say: if it’s wintertime, it’s a bit windy a bit chilly and you know she or should we say, snowing white, your gloves on tighten them up and then, where you go, that will seal in the unit is well nice before your keeping you nice and warm and help him keeping your core temperature as well.

So what this does this works with their down jacket, that’s obviously I’m wearing underneath and to keep your core temperature. So you won’t overheat, so your hands won’t get too clammy too sweaty in there or you know any other items and there won’t be any discomfort for you, but also you have in the hits these elastic parts now these control the drawstring at the bottom of the jacket.

So if I was to pull these right, so what would my jacket as you can see? It’s got nice and tight. So what this does? If it’s really windy, really snowy or you just want to pull everything together and keep yourself nice and warm that’s what they do all you need to do to loosen them up. Just press these two toggles here and pull forward there.

You go it’s nice and loose another cool feature that district it had. There’s a nice point pulling that you get very standard with very little face jackets. This is going to protect you from any rings, or you know just generally keep your cool and hit your nipples and see if you really need to dig in the king of cheeks nice Union as well.

Now this system works really well with the hood, which ever talked to you about in a minute. Take a look at the three-in-one system. You see if I can unzip it. Okay, so, as you can see the lining itself, you can use the external pockets there, which is pretty good and then and that’s just attached to the outside, of the down jackets, which I will know it’s about.

So on the down jacket itself, you’ve got a fleece backing net and then you’ve got the down on the sides there. Well also, you have is a really nice pocket as well. Yet again, that’s got some water resistancy material on it on the outside. So if you just want to wear this rather than the jacket, obviously you can that’s the whole point over the three-in-one system.

You wear the jacket and the inner liner jacket together. You can wear this set for it and I’ll see you can wear the outer layer which is gore-tex separate as well. Hence three-in-one jackets, talking about the alte jacket itself. Obviously it’s poor Tech’s mind and then, as I said before, you can see the the pockets with the mesh.

That’s going to cause nice breathability for you, so it’s going to keep you nice and cool and that works really well with the down jacket as well other than that you do have a little little hole here. So if you’ve got a hands-free kit or if you’ve got mp3 player, obviously you don’t want all the wires hanging out core deliciously pop it in there feed it through there and it can go up and interior via the jacket.

So there’s no exposed wise, which is a really nice little feature to have nice little techie feature just a little hole, but it doesn’t make a difference. Let’s take a look at the other side of the jacket. Now yet again, just the same with the down Goose jacket, you’ve got a nice little pocket as well. Yet again it’s all kind of waterproof inside as well.

We would have resistant. So it’s going to be nice and you know nice and spacious in there and just going to keep you join and now yeah. You just got good ventilation, pockets and obviously, where I’ve tightened up the jacket before previously in the pockets, you have it there and also undo that little bit there we go there.

So then that frees up the bottom part of the jacket- that’s pretty much it. But then obviously this outer shell is gore-tex, so it is 100% waterproof and lifetime guaranteed. So all together, it’s a great winter jacket. This would be a great time to work that the gusto jacket in there itself will be great fun.

You know autumn time just before it starts to get nippy and in the spring summer time, depending on. If we get a bit of rain, you’ve got the outer so pretty much caters for all three seasons. That’s really nice to see, but let’s take a look at the hood: shall we so if I zip this back up so working with the collar part of the jacket, it just hides everything into the itself.

You’ve got the Pete. Please help at the top of the hood and look this. Does this basically takes the top part of the hood, so it doesn’t flap down in your facing. It’s really really really. You know hammering it down with rain or whatever it’s not gonna go. It’s gonna stay nice and tight on the top there. Good you can also do is with the pulley systems just to give you a plot of fit as well.

So pull these bits in, and the group of one on the top that that we’re basically using the elastic that they’ve got involved in the hood, give you a nice secure, safe fit. So if you’ve got to look left or right pretty much, the hood will move at ease with you, giving you all the clear vision that you need. That’s a really nice feature check.

It also does see if you don’t want to have it out, zip it up. So there’s a zip technique that so you can actually dip with check out stuff and you pop it anywhere. You go so it’s nice and lightweight to do that which is really cool feature to have, and then it just frees up you for a nice, nice thick column as well.

Hi, I’m dan from the product team at minutes and today we’re going to be looking at the evolution Triclimate jacket by The North Face. Now the term Triclimate is what the North Face uses to indicate a three-in-one stealth jacket for those of you not familiar with three-in-one jackets they’re, comprised of it of a waterproof outer shell and a warm removable fleece lining.

So the jacket itself is made from North Faces own waterproof fabric, which is which is called high vent. Now hyman is fully Windham waterproof, as well as been breathed with enough for activities like like Hill walking and the night hiking. Now the jacket has a number of interesting features that I’ll quickly talk you through, so starting at the top.

You’ve got a really nice fully waterproof hood with draw cord adjustments on the side that hood packs down nicely and snugly into this, this collar, which helps maintain the jackets smart appearance. We’re also equipped here on the sleeves with a both velcro adjustable cuffs and on each side. You’ve got a zipped hand warmer pocket.

It’s got nice fleece lining and then also in there you’ve got the the draw cord adjustment for the hem of the jacket. So if you’re in a try, climbing you’ve never been able to find that that’s where it’s hiding a lovely thing about about the Triclimate jacket. This one in particular, is this lovely warm removable, fleece lining.

Now this is a polar tech fleet. So it’s a very, very good quality fleece lining and what’s brilliant about 3/1 jackets is the fact that, just by I’m doing those couple of zips, you can completely remove the outer jacket, which leaves you with a nice lightweight fleece. That’s brilliant for saying: okay, like a cool summer evening, just to help keep the chill off.

The fleece is equipped with clips on the on the ends of each sleeve and there’s also another one on the back of the neck and that’s to help it stay clipped firmly inside inside the shell jacket. I didn’t have those don’t because it makes a bit tricky to get on and off. It’s also got a pair of it’s hand warmer pockets.

Just like me, just like the outer jacket and it’s got a nice zip up, snug kind of warm collar as well, so the so the shell jacket would have another quick look at that without the fleece in it. This becomes a really really nice lightweight waterproof jacket, and this is really good for sort of those warmer muggier wet days.

When you don’t need the extra insulation, but you need the protection if it’s raining, so that’s really nice to wear on its own, but the way you’ll probably wear it most often is in the middle of winter. When it’s raining when it’s cold- and this offers you protection from the worst that the weather can throw at you.

So if you want some kind of indication for a sizing fit I’m a 38 inch chest I’m, currently wearing a medium over just a t-shirt and I think that’s that’s pretty much a perfect fit for me. So in summary, thanks to try climates three in one design, it’s one of the most versatile jackets you can buy. So no matter if you walk into work or you’re heading to the hills.

I’ve certainly hiked to look at it UK in this session, we’re looking at the North Face evolution, Triclimate jacket. Let’s take a closer look, so the evolution Triclimate jacket, it’s one of our top sellers, absolutely packed full of features. It’s a three-in-one jacket, so we have an outer shell and attached in a fleece and then obviously you can wear that fleece on its own as well.

So the outer shell nice large neck collar at the top here just keep your neck nice and warm. We have a hood built into the back here that you just fold it away underneath the collar nice good sized hood got a good, strong peak across the front. There stops any rain getting into your face, adjustable down the sides as well.

We also have an adjuster on the back of the hood, so you can really control the volume of the hood itself. Get a nice good, tight, fit around your head, keep it nice and comfortable and that just does roll away and stall back into the collar itself. On the front you have a baffle over the front of the zip.

This is velcro down to keep it in place. It’s a double baffle as well, so you’ve got extreme protection here, presenting any of the elements getting into the zip again. Keeping you nice and warm inside got a little stash pocket underneath the baffle itself as well great place to store your essentials really easy to get to then have another zip pocket on the other side of the chest, as well as an external one, again good size, getaway, bits and pieces in there nice and easily two zip pockets on either side at the front as well he’s a fleece line to keep your hands nice and warm.

We’ve also got these toggles on as well. So if you’ve got gloves on real easy to grab hold of these and undo these zips around the base have a button popper just to hold that baffle in place, and this is also a dual zip system as well. So you can gain access to the jacket via the bottom by the secretary zip.

If you need to then got a set of a waist adjusters around the base, again good, tighten the waist in nice and tight to get in preventing you those elements from getting in keeping you nice and warm, and then on the wrist. We have the velcro risk the Justice again, tightening that up really made you nice and comfortable and cozy inside so on the inside of the jacket.

As we said three in one system, you then have this fleece on the inside. This does actually zip out completely and can be attached to the inside of the jacket. So it’s one complete jacket. Well, as we did say before as well, can be completely removed separately from the outer shell and can be worn completely on its own, literally just zipped, into the outside there and then there’s a couple of poppers on the cuffs as well just to hold it all in place.

The fleece itself again with this nice high neck, raised around the top here, really does keep you nice and warm all fleece, lined inside and obviously the fleece on the external section as well again, a good nice, solid, zip with the toggle on again with the gloves, nice and easy to grab hold of so got some zips pockets in here as well.

Fleece lined with the toggles great place to stash all your bits and pieces. So, as you can see with all these top features, you’ve gotten here top-quality as with all the North Face products really is one of our best sellers and you can see why.

So it’s good to me ideal for your autumn and your winter hiking as well as getting a you know to 400 I say it has high vent waterproofing as well, which means it’s a hundred percent breathable and a hundred percent waterproof.

Okay, let’s take a closer look at its features. Now, shall we so the first thing I want to talk to you about is the collar itself. It’s nice and high. It’s gonna protect your neck from all the elements, whether that’s going to be wind, rain or snow. You have a chest pocket conveniently on the chest: nice easy glides it and is nice and spacious pretty much ends at that top part there and then on the seam there.

So nice and spacious great for those grab and go items or your mobile phone and your keys. You do have two traditional hip pockets as well: you’ll notice that are slightly raced. So this means you can get your climbing harness or your hip belt. Around there and it’s not going to interfere with the zip, the pockets themselves, nice easy glide system- you got a storm flap, protecting the main, zip pockets themselves.

Are nice and spacious. Much to that top section. There all the way down to the bottom. There fleece lined as well. So if it’s a bit chilly, you can pop your hands and they’re gonna, keep you nice and warm and then lasting. You’ve got the hem, adjust it in there as well so pulling in on that. It’s just going to draw the bottom part of the jacket in.

So let’s take a look at the inside of the jacket now what you’ll notice? Firstly, obviously you’ve got a storm flap, protecting the main, zip and then you’ve got another storm flap protecting your on the inside. So this is, it has got double protection to it, which is a really nice touch. As I said, this jacket is a three-in-one, so the way that it works is exactly just like any other three on one system, so you’ve got the main zips either side and it just zips and pops in the actual synthetic that you get on the inside is good.

It obviously is a nice warm layer in there you’ve got a really nice pocket on there. Nice, easy glide, zips pocket themselves, nice and spacious top to the bottom, so yeah ideal for Harveys or a nice map. More importantly, though, it’s got the fleece lining as well, so you can’t put your hands in here.

As I say, this will work as a nice, warm layer as well, just you know just to wear by itself and then the main jacket itself you’ve got kind of this material. Like kind of should we say, like a mesh material on the back here, just to separate you, that’s going to increase the breathability of the overall the jacket and so just enables nice cool air to run through, especially when the you know the warmer layer is in and say that’s pretty much it so that zip.

This up, so it’s nice, quick and easy to do, and then, let’s zip, the main zip up and then we’ll take a look. Okay, so the hood itself, you’ve got the two traditional toggles on the front net if I spin it around and then we’ll take a look at the back system as well. So there you go. You’ve got your other tools so play around with the toggle on the back here and then the two toggles on the front means you’ve got full adjustment, which means you can really personalize the shape and the overall feel of this hood.

But in turn that works perfectly with this peak as well so playing with the peak, that’s going to make it nice and rigid, which means you’ll, be able to see where you’re going where you’ve been, and obviously you know see you know all the sear areas around you as well, set it’s great for your overall peripheral vision.

All right, hello, everyone we are back and jacket. It has a insulated inner shell and a water-resistant, as we know, north space likes to say tire shell. So what this is good for is a very versatile amount of situations, different scenarios that you might end up in. So let me run through this for you so that you can decide if the track climates right for you, because they’re all basically the same, just different levels of warmth and then you’ll know if you need a new winter coat which one to get one of the things I really like about this particular jacket.

Is this muted North Face logo? So you yourself know all your friends can see it, but if you know you’re going out for dinner or you’re at the ski chalet and you put it down somewhere, it’s not as noticeable it’s the same on the back. It’s not really noticeable and people won’t pick it out as easily it’s like having a camera bag that says Canon on it or Nikon people instantly know what it is. What’s in it, it’s valuable sitting with a North Face jacket right if you’re out skiing, you know in trombe long Blue, Mountain, happy valley, like anywhere Colorado, a North Face jacket is much more prevalent and if you have one, people might want to take it because they know it’s worth something.

So I really like that. Also on this it has a breast pocket which is not insulated, but it is protected. So no water is gonna, get in it, but nothing’s going to stay warming it either. If you keep your phone in, there might get a little cold, not really very bueno. In my opinion, also as normal, we have two insulated hand: pockets one on each side. There we go and then there is this awesome hood that they like to say, is helmet compatible and if you look at it this flat part at the front right there how it’s different than the sides it acts as like its own sturdy, so that when you’re walking and your head is in here, just let me it keeps it from ringing right down on your head.

It drops in front of it. It creates almost like a shadow effect just like on the resolve to jacket, if you remember that it creates it so that the water comes right off of it, instead of going into your face really being pointless, but you can 100% put this hood over a ski helmet. It completely works, I’ve done it, it’s not very easy, which is a problem right, but it is doable also on it. We have these little bungees on either side to help cinch it up really tight around your head. If you want or, however, you really need to cinch, it I’ve never used them, not a fan of having these, but obviously some people are actually they put them on it.

On top of that, there is one at the back as well, which I have used, and this has to do with right in here. This is the cord. It goes all the way around to the front, creating a semicircle, and what that does is it helps to tighten it if you have it on a helmet or it can loosen it a bit. Obviously, I have it as loose as I can right now, but by doing that you can really be more versatile, say you’re walking in the winter, and it’s raining. You have a hat on this way. It’s not pushing the hat into your face, as you you know.

Sometimes Noah hood will just keep pushing it down this way. It stays on your head in one place. It’s not gonna move really works well to keep the snow and the rain out of your eyes. So that’s a really nice feature. Alright. So a big thing in wintertime is the windchill. It’s bitter, it’s cold. It makes life really annoying right. So what I’ve had in the past is I haven’t brought blows because you know you forget them or something, and these insulated pockets here that they have kept my hands perfectly warm because this outer shell is so well made that nothing is getting through it like.

Yes, you know the cold still seeps in somehow, but the wind is not hitting your hands same with. If you do this up all the way, inner shell keeps your chin warm, so you don’t even need a scarf necessarily in it. Obviously, if you’re wearing it down like that, your chins exposed to want a scarf on for me in the wintertime. A problem I often have is I get too warm in my winter jackets right like they’re too warm they keep too much heat in and I overheat I’m sweating, you know just walking somewhere.

That’s not what I want it’s a big old thumbs down when that happens. So this was my old jacket. You can see the reflection so I’m, those Columbia, it’s the omni heat stuff. You know the special shiny insulated nonsense and it was all identical right, like breast pocket. Only difference was that had some flappy pockets on the side, the hood wasn’t as nice, but same idea and at first I really liked this jacket and I had it for probably like three three years. I think, but something I noticed was: is that the start of owning it all the way to worn this stuff trapped? All the heat I? Was overheating constantly I really only needed it if I would go skiing or if I was staying and you know shoveling outside or something which for me? Yes, I shovel? Yes, I ski, that’s, not what I’m doing with a winter jacket 24/7, so you may be saying: well, you should have two jackets.

Yes, that’s an idea, but why would I have two jackets when I can have one jacket that solves all my purposes and all my problems? So with this jacket, though, at the end, a year ago, when I was looking for that jacket right there, this heat stuff started to not trap the warmth as well, so I would be walking and be you know, negative 10, negative, 20 and I’d. Be you know, freezing inside of this jacket. It basically was just a shell at that point and I was not enjoying it. You know walking to school was a problem.

Walking to work was a problem. Everything so that to me causes a lot of problems and when I started looking for a jacket, I found Triclimate ones and I found those were much more well suited to various scenarios right. So you know we’re done with this one: it’s gone whatever so with the Triclimate. Obviously the inner shell can come out right. So you have, you know little hooks zoom in on that little hooks and straps in each sleeve whoo, sorry about that. You got a hook at the top right there and then the zippers, obviously on each side.

So a huge thing about that is you’re, probably saying well wow. These cufflinks are gonna, be a huge issue and it’s like well. They can be, but I couldn’t wear a blazer and a dress shirt in this and have no issues at all, putting my arm in it and having it sit comfortable. Obviously you know you have to hold the sleeve while you pull through all that you know kindergarten type stuff, but for wearing. This I went on a ski trip last year in negative 30 to negative 40 conditions, Celsius Canadian, negative 30, negative 40 Celsius, and this jacket all I had underneath was a long-sleeve like Nike, Under, Armour type shirt.

You know the athletic wear shirts. That kind of stuff and I was completely worn. My body was never cold. It was not overheating, it was I the ideal temperature ideal condition, so I never had a single issue, so you’re saying well, you’re, probably gonna have the same issue. Is that stupid, Columbia jacket, but I did it when I wore this walking the class. There was no issues when I wore this walking to work when I wear it in the morning to go to work now, I can wear the negative 5 and become somehow North Face have designed a jacket like this.

That’s both perfect for cold scenarios in the worst possible cold when you’re, not st, going on an expedition or something, but also for everyday scenarios, making it very versatile all right. So what you’re? Looking at the inner shell taken out of the jacket? It’s a fleece lined inner shell. It’s super comfortable. It also has two fleece lined pockets, which are lovely to put your hands into, and then right here in the outer shell all by itself. So it really is just like for resistance from rain and wind.

So what I’ll do is I’ll spray, this with some water. That way, you can see how the water beads off again. It is the outer shell, that’s supposed to do stuff like that and it’s wind resistant, so it repels most things, keeping your inner body warm and letting the elements outside stay outside all right. So one last thing I wanted to mention before I spray with water is right. Here this zipper on the outside you’ll notice. It’s almost like a welded zipper I, bring it closer, so it really doesn’t let much in and I have my phone in there.

Whenever I went skiing last year, nothing got in there when if I fell and snow got all over me, nothing, it was really great, so will do again is, as usual got my handy spray bottle with the agua and we’re gonna just spray, and my spray ball is not really working. There we go. This spray bottle is terrible. I apologize yeah, so my spray bottle kind of broke there, so the water is just beating off of it as it did on the resolve, because North Face doesn’t want to tell you it’s water, resistant or waterproof, or anything like that right.

But what they do is they make it so it is so if we unzip the zipper, there’s nothing on the inside right, so like all of this in here perfectly dry, but if you notice right on the outside there’s a bunch of water which is perfect for anytime, like if you’re outside in winter, you want your coat to be resistor and waterproof, because you don’t know when it’s gonna downpour ice rain or it’s gonna be pelting. You or it’s gonna be wet snow and it just covers you, and this way you can tell right there you’re covered.

This has been the review of the North Bay strike climate winter jacket. All right. It’s I like to kind of grow I’m a great guy, I, run all kinds of shades of grey I like what they’ve done here and check this out. It has a zip in insert all right watch your wait for it. Here’s the reveal zipped in right now, but when you unzip it booyah matches the grey asphalt, texture color, which we all agree. Everyone on this shoot cameraman producer, everybody, it’s cool, we dig it we’re digging this color scheme and and that’s cool, that’s a prey style right.

There. You run this thing off. You know check it check it zip her out. Obviously this gives you insulation. Don’t don’t forget! You also got the powder skirt in there. Okay, so you you run that off right and it has the little it’s obviously well well in there if you wanted to stay in there, but you take that off and whammo I mean this is a complete outfit I’m all bundled up here, but still second layer matching the pants, no I’m digging this man I think the North Face is really hit here with a little bit of style, but a little bit of pop.

This is your beautiful sister Kat and today we are going to be sharing with y’all some of the epic snowboarding equipment that we recently acquired and test it in Park City Utah. What is going on? Youtube I’m, your brother Reza, as you already may, have known, but today I am Rasul representing Babatunde, because Biff is still in Utah doing his snowboarding stuff. So this is my snowboarding alter ego when I go out there in the mountain, I become Biff and like bit like just doesn’t care about anything but snowboarding.

That’s what he does hey. What’s up brahs, it’s your brah Biff I’m, like you know, you might know me as the world champion Nigerian Bengali, snowboarder and I’m out here in Park, City Utah right now, and it’s like totally snowing got some French like you know, pow pow, coming down from the sky and it’s gonna be a little. Tell you like join us out here and we’re gonna show you all around Park City yeah, but anyway, Biff got a new snowboarding jacket and he’s gonna share some information which I love about that snowboarding jacket, we’re never bored.

So when me or Biff, started snowboarding about 10 or 15 years ago, didn’t really know much about snowboarding, guess some like really basic stuff and then eventually started getting a little bit better jackets and stuff like that. Because really wanted to be warm. You know, and at the time I realized that the brand Arc’teryx, which I’m wearing right now happened to make some of the warmest and most durable gear that you could get in the outdoor world. So I got the whole Arc’teryx system that up yes set up, which is very, very pricey.

So basically, what it is is a base layer, whatever you might want to put on and then your base layer. Then you put your mint layer over it, which would be this jacket right here, which is also helmet, compatible I. Think it’s somewhat compatible, and then you put your shell on on top of it where’s my shoe. Well, I know for a fact that the shell is definitely probably shell I, don’t think this one. So I wanted to show you all what this shell looks like, but hanger fell out we’re gonna overlay it okay yeah.

So this is my Arc’teryx shell. This is the beta AR of shell. This thing is made out of gore-tex pro 3 or something like that or just going to express you don’t export sho. This thing is super super water resistant when resistant and resistant to everything and extremely durable I’ve been using this thing to snowboard, with for almost like, probably 19 years now, and it literally still looks brand-new and I have like taking some gnarly tumbles on ice wearing this thing, I’ve taken it to Iceland and a bunch of other places, and it has been pretty much my go-to.

It looks so sad and pathetic like this, without anger in it. But that’s all that’s all you have overlays, but it’s been my go-to winter jacket for quite some time, especially when I’m going into extreme conditions and stuff like that, but the one for as good as this jacket is at all things. Outdoor, yes, there we go so as good as that jacket or shell, or this system is for all things. Outdoor is also just as bad for all things somewhat more civil is not a very good jacket to wear in this city is not a good jacket to wear to the office.

It’s not a good jacket to pretty much do anything except for being the face of a mountain yeah. It’s very outdoorsy. It’s definitely not fashion every day or is it yes, so I decided to treat myself to an update and snowboarding gear, and it’s been like years since I’ve purchased that a jacket shell system and I was like. You know what I need to update myself and get something else. So what did I go and get I went and found something awesome in and something that can kill a lot of birds with one stone.

I get the North Face Bandon Triclimate jacket, and now this jacket is amazing, for so many different reasons. So some of the criteria that I had in my head, when I was looking for a new jacket, was I, wanted something that I could go snowboarding in, but would still be fashionable that I can still wear in a city that I could still wear to my office and not look crazy, like I’m wearing a snowboarding jacket. I wanted one jacket that could no. It goes back to us trying to minimize in all of our stuff and downsize, because we don’t like to accumulate more things and we try to get rid of more things.

Yes, so that’s why this whole jacket came into play and it did come from the outlet stores. It’s not the regular North, Face stores and from our research. We realized that it’s actually kind of hard to find it anywhere on the proper North Face website, but it is on Amazon as well, so some of the outlets I’m assuming carrying it out, so you can actually still order it, so it might be discontinued, but I’m not really a hundred percent. Sure about that, because when I went to the North Face outlet and bought this, there were literally thousands of them lined up on the racks.

So this jacket on sale was a hundred and fifty dollars, which was one of my like other main criteria. It had to be, you know, somewhat affordable, because I didn’t want to spend more money, anymore yeah, but no these jackets can get pretty pricey. They do have a lot of good deals like I’ve got three different jackets on sale from them for 40% off. Usually that happens around holidays, but their jackets go like 300 and up they’re. Definitely very, very pricey, yes, but this one was not one of those pricey ones and it performed outstanding on to actual slopes.

Now. I wanted to use this as an everyday jacket, as well as a ski jacket. But I was scared about I, really didn’t know how good this thing would be as a ski jacket, so I wanted to test it before we actually did a review on this jacket, so we’re gonna start off with our pros about this jacket. Number one pro about this Bandon jacket is that it is a Triclimate jacket. This liner, that’s the inside right here can actually come a loose like this and it can become a completely different jacket.

That makes it extremely versatile. It makes it extremely usable in lots of different situations, and you can, you know, take one jacket and go on a trip, and you can essentially do two or three different things, because the inside of this jacket actually still somewhat fashionable. It’s not just a plain flaw. Looking you know insert so you can actually wear it on your own completely. Yes, and the inside by itself is still very warm. It’s made out of the North Face 550 goose filled goose down stuff, so just this jacket alone without the shell is actually still really good and very warm.

But when you put the shell on it, you actually add the element of wind proof. ‘no sand waterproofness, it is made out of a dry fan. This is not gore-tex, it’s driving and it’s a I guess the you know the mid-tier dry vent stuff, but actually works extremely well. I’ve already worn this jacket in several like serious downpours in Atlanta I, wore it to Park City. This is the only jacket that took the Park, City and I used in storms. Yeah I wore it to the club. I worked through snow storms, I wore it at the summit of the mountain that we were on and my body actually never got.

Cold I never got wet wearing this jacket. This jacket will perform extremely well and you saw it performs extremely well in the urban environment as well, and this thing is also extremely comfortable when I traveled on the airplane in this jacket, I was able to ball it up and use it as a pillow and lay on it and sleep on it or, if I put it on, it was still very comfortable. It wasn’t like that plastic bag garbage bag feeling that you get with a hardcore older gore-tex jacket, like my um beta, a alright now ya, hear that sound like I mean if the.

If the pool is gonna hit, the fan I probably would grab this jacket instead, but for day-to-day use, this jacket is just like really really over to Wales. Let’s see wearable inner layer. I just talked about that right because you start talking about crying, try climbing so I edit it to it: okay, yeah, so the word will, in a layer still fashionable we’ll do some overlays of that right. There now we’re gonna talk about some of the cons of North Face. This is thing called Bandhan jacket number one.

Con is like the week that I bought this Jackie I took the thing ice-skating and the inside liner ripped. It wasn’t bad, but it did with a little bit two stitches. It wasn’t I, don’t think that it’s completely like ripped out and although it just came loose, it was easy fix yeah, but it was annoying and I heard it pop and I wasn’t even doing anything. Crazy I was ice, skating and I was feeling something I just bent over to grab something and I heard it go pop up and I was like Jack you’re, ripping she chased who’s like not a trip, but when I get home and check the liner, it did really so I was super super annoyed about that.

Another thing that is a little yes I was gonna say that, yes, it did rip and, yes, we did get it from the outlets, but because it’s still a North Face and it’s not shoes mm-hmm. It has still a warranty lifetime warranty. So when we call the store, they were ready to swap it out for us, no questions asked or even the regular North Face store. We didn’t even have to go to the elevator to the outlet. Yes, so yeah we could’ve just went to one by our house and they were gonna exchange it for a different North Face jacket because they didn’t have this one in stock, but I actually liked the style and design of this jacket a lot.

So when I went to the store and I saw the newer jackets that they have I was just like yeah, it’s twice as much actually more than twice yeah the prices they were like $400 jacket, but they weren’t established in this one I like that. This one has the retro light. North Face, look to it that different fabrics on here, which you know the combining it makes it look a little bit more stylish versus the ones that they have right now in the store right now, the ones they have in the store kind of have the look of that Arc’teryx show yeah very just blend.

Okay, this is a snowboarding jacket. It isn’t something and I was like the art. Tirek stuff is a bit – yeah for me, like I, like our Tara’s gear, but it’s like just bland, so yeah, so that was that was that it was thinner, costly yeah. Our computer fills even doesn’t want to wait back up our notes. Oh my god. There we go so anyway yeah they would have taken it back. Even though the liner had a minor little like couple of scenes at pops. They would’ve taken a jacket back so okay, so one other thing is very, very annoying about this jacket.

That is a massive, not pro a con is that this actual hood on the back now, this hood is actually kind of cool, because you can’t take the hood off and it’s removable and it works really good when you’re, just you know doing normal stuff like this I guess this is normal, but if you are wearing a helmet, this was differently specifically a snowboarding helmet. It does not fit with this hood at all, and I tried to do it and I just looked like a guy whose neck was just too big so but I still have to say, I understand it’s definitely a con, but you also buy a jacket that isn’t designed for snowboarding, so those things obviously not accounted for.

You know in the designer jacket. Yes, so it’s not helmet compatible because it’s not a snowboarding jacket. There are no inside pockets on this jacket, which is very very annoying, and even though it’s not a snowboarding jacket, I, don’t know why they wouldn’t put inside pockets. That’s on a urban jacket like I, really really think this thing could be used. It could use a inside pocket somewhere when the inside this pocket on the outside, like a side, pocket yeah, and then they have to regular pockets but no proper inside pockets.

But this thing is also compatible with other North Face shales and fleeces and stuff like that. So you can just like put whatever liner in here that you want to as long as it’s the same size and then zips right in actually I put a medium inside of this small and still work. But there was a couple of zippers too long. I could have pulled it off. Oh I see yeah no inside pockets now because it’s not a snowboarding jacket and I understand that it’s not a snowboarding jacket, but it would be nice if it did have a zipper right here.

So you could put like you know a little rag or something or your uh. What do they call those little things got the beep for you and you’re lifting all right. So you can put a lift ticket and stuff like that. That would have been cool to have, but it’s not snowboards yeah I have a snowboarding one. I don’t have that little sleeve on my arm. Really mm-hmm I don’t have that little pocket on my sleeve, even though it is meant for skiing and snowboarding. So I just have to put it in my side yeah, but now, but these modern, like lift scanners.

They anywhere in your body yeah they pick up and well it just you know, picks it up, see ya, no sleeve pocket and obviously it doesn’t have a skirt because it’s not a snowboarding jacket. Now this whole skirt thing was something I was very concerned about, because I actually like to ride powder and I like to ride really really fast I’m. In the point where my snowboarding, where I don’t really fall very often, unless I’m trying to do something really really crazy, but I still kind of was concerned about man.

I should really get a powder, skirt and um. On this past trip to Park City I try to do a couple of jumps and fail, and even though I did fall and I slid, you know a decent distance down. The mountain I didn’t really get any powder under this jacket or anything like that. I didn’t even get wet, so I really feel like I. Don’t need a powder skirt. Okay, that’s definitely a plus for you, since the jacket doesn’t have it yeah and now the solution I was thinking about was maybe getting some bibs some snowboarding bibs, since it doesn’t have a powder skirt, but then I even decided Mallen even need that like why and when I went in this past trip last weekend, I didn’t so there we go so I guess! That’s pretty much concludes our overall thoughts overall thoughts, Oh overall bosses.

This is an awesome jacket, especially for the price, like you can’t be like $150, for a waterproof windproof jacket that you can like wear to your office. You can also go snowboarding in and you can literally wear it to different seasons. Lifetime warranty I mean it’s great for travel, it’s like because you carry two jackets to Park City right. Well, yes, because I had a snowboarding jacket and I had a parka cuz. Typically, when I go to snow snow or a cold temperature places I like my jackets long, if I could get one all the way down my feet, I would because I don’t like the wind, so I can’t flew in my parka because it was touching my knees, but snowboarding was different, but it’s just not very comfortable like the snowboarding jacket.

I have is cool, but it is uncomfortable for like day-to-day use. That’s why another reason why I didn’t want to wear like we would go, walk around and you know town or go out with something like okay, I’m wear it snowboarding. You can tell it’s a snowboarding jacket right to go to the damn Club you know so it’s kind of and that’s why I didn’t want my next purchase, which is why I got the North Face band and jacket and you can probably still go get one if you go to your local North, Face outlet.
