Welcome back to the channel guys this is my Glock 43 I, never thought I don’t want. We added the true glow tritium Pro night, sights on there, so pretty good set of night sights, not sure if your bills see them here in the bright daylight. The Sun is out this morning and we’re at the range so I put some rounds through this Glock 43 and see how feels nice well.

I, don’t have the issue of pushing it off target, which is something that I have sometimes with 43’s shoots. Great all right. Young beretta give it a try. Okay, all right, guys, the true glow tritium Pro night, sights on the Glock 43 I’m glad that beretta Sarah decided to pick up a 43. He definitely needed one. In my opinion, fantastic sight picture you guys with these sights even better than my America love Spartan aftermarket sights.

That I put on my 43 Wow sure gone. This 43 is good too where’s the break. Here’s the reset and that white outline, which is the focus lock on that front sight, is just fantastic. He just lined up with the rear you notch, god, what a wonderful sight picture. Alright guys were shooting at 6, hourly performance ammunition.

It is the 115 grain Full Metal Jacket traveling at 1185 feet per second, so those headshots five out of six I’m feeling more confident in this Glock 43 I feel like I, can actually hit the target at a high percentage yeah, and so this also is running the DPM system, guy rod assembly just like mine yeah and your brother’s Glock 43.

Also right. So we have three of those guide rod assemblies you guys that were running yeah, no issues, no problems at all and I gotta tell you I do think um, because I commented about this gun being a bit snappy when it first came out and I shot it with the regular guide rod. So I do think this guide. Rod is working yeah and it is lessening the recoil.

So if your recoil sensitive at all and you’re shooting a nine-millimeter out of a pistol this size that DPM Systems guide rod does work. So it’s something to consider and I do like the sights. They helped me stay on target. That’s for sure, I mean you can’t miss them. When you bring the pistol up, you just can’t miss home they’re right there and they’re easy to put on the target and the front sight.

Your eye does gravitate to the front sight. So when you bring it up real fast, you see the front sight right away, which is key to winning a you know a faster gunfight. If you will, you need to bring your pistol into action quite quickly. That front sight needs to jump out at you to make sure that you hit your target the first round.

We don’t throw rounds, like some people say with Sig Sauer. These series pistols throw that first round with the double action we don’t throw first rounds. We want to try to make sure we hit with the first round anyway. You’re gonna shoot it one more time, so guys I think it’s safe to say that the Glock 43 is probably our most preferred single stack manual or pistol on the market.

Everyone in our family seems to have one half, and it’s just wonderful. Thanks to your brother, you know letting us check out his 43 yeah and, to be honest, we we just shot the 42 and the LCP to 380 and with this DPM guide, rod in this 43 I think this 43 is softer recoiling yeah and you guys with these sights. It is point of Amos point of impacts or no problems like that.

I just I love the wide you notch dude with that front side. Alright, let’s go for the dueling tree real fast, you so guys. We highly recommend these sites. Okay, well, it’s been a little bit since I’ve. Put a video up, so I wanted to kind of do a little update here. I’ve been out a little bit of block bed. Lately messing with my Glocks and I got into deciding to swap out the sights out a couple of my pistols, the Glock pistols that come with these I’m sure you’re, all familiar or maybe similar, the stock block sites which are plastic and pretty much garbage anyway.

I’ve wanted to get night sights on all those since I bought him and I swapped him out on my Glock 29 recently, and it was such an easy and inexpensive process than I decided to make a video about it. So this is kind of like a $75 site change, video, ultimately really a bead, and it comes down to you need a couple different tools. Oh you could do you mean there’s a few different ways.

You could do it, but to make it easier, you want a rear sight tool. I got this rear sight tool from a seller on eBay I. Think it’s like 3d printer for you or something that was the name of his. Let me look it up here, 3d printer for you now or 3d printing for you now anyway. Apparently, the guy makes these on his 3d printer and it’s a bunch of different pieces.

These I’ll show you how it works basically, but it’s it’s a little pusher for the size anyway, that was a that was like 23 bucks, shipped man. This right here is for the front sights. This is called a fixer. It is a specific tool for Glock front sight that, and then that was like eight bucks and here instead of nice, very nice tritium night, sights just the standard, not the tf-x or the pros, or that just a plain old standard set of tritium.

True glow tight, sights $49 99 from for gold outdoors out of Pennsylvania, and they send you a receipt and email a little rebate from true glow, which gets you a $10 bail rebate on this set of sites so out the door price final price, for this is 30-day 90 day. That’s a hell of a deal, so we add up 40 bucks for the sites like 23 bucks, for the pusher and 8 bucks for the front sight tool you’re, looking at under $75 to swell about the sights on your Glock, pretty good, a couple things about these true glows: these are for the Glock.

This is a Glock 19. By the way. These are the Glocks of this set-asides fits assemble of the USA with Swiss tritium I. Believe there was somebody here about a warranty. Oh yeah, right here, 12 year, limited warranty in the package here you got your UPC definitely want to save that, because that’s going to be scented with the rebate information here, just general information about the sights nice thing is, it does come with a little allen, wrench, because and also a special extra nut for the accessible fits used with Jed for Glocks.

Only so for some reason that big differentiate through the territory- and there goes the sights alright, their battle for very good quality I have a set of these up. My Glock 29 there there that’s the rear sight see it does have a sets or a little like Allen in it as a set screw. So once you get that see if I could actually yeah. So what you get that into your dovetail with your rear sight, you could actually set it in.

Obviously, you want to use a little bit of Loctite on that. Here’s, the front sight has a little it just bounced in there into the top of the slide, with a little nut. That’s how these work, alright swap about first thing, is obviously to clear, first and disassemble. It which slide and slide will go into this rear sight tool. I’ll show you how I set that up, there’s these little spacers that it comes with I found kind of the combination that works the best with this Glock 19 slide.

Alright, that’s in there. So I use this little spacer on the side. This one underneath to kind of holds the bottom of the slide in place, and then this piece here is good match it with the turn the screw handle here and as you do, that that will just simply push that rear, slide, rear sight right off the slide. So here we go start to put a little tension.

It gets too much tension. You probably want to stop and maybe back it off a little. There doesn’t broke free right. There you’ll want to stop it, maybe back off a little bit. If it’s different gets too tight, you can see it’s coming off the side of there see it looks like it’s gonna back off a little bit, maybe reposition this so I don’t want to tear up that sight.

There’s a they are plastic, the stock sight, so they will get bagels fairly easily. If you’re. If you manhandle, you pretty much, go all the way with this right about there back it off a little bit, pull this out there. What the actual sight came right off. That is a rear sight for its to a standard rear sight for a Glock, 19, totally simple, designed, obviously very confident.

These are, you know, dovetail type of site for a rear sight is very common. Alright, now to the front sight under here, you have baseball. If you can see that nut inside they’re going to unscrew that, with this front sight tool which can be a tricky to get in there, there we go twist up that wasn’t even all very tight at all the one for the clock.

Twenty nine I had to like use a little bit more force that one. This would keep my bed really easy, I’ll, probably yeah. This is probably pretty boring to watch so I have to edit some of this out, like that I. Just leave that, like that that’d be pretty accurate right and there it is that is your standard, Glock front sight and the little nut or screw actually is a screw that holds it onto the slide.

Goes right through this line just goes right there. This is actually a magnetic too. So if you do happen to get that nut off there, we’ll go we’ll go fly-in typically, it’ll stick to the tool which is nice. In fact, it makes it handy for putting the new one in there. So yeah, it’s magnetic yeah, just set this up to put a sight on these for the screw blows.

I found it’s best to take this piece and turn it around, so that the squared edge pushes the site owner, and this all the way out, of course, because it’s gonna start way. You know that’s right. It’s gonna stay away, start the way off to the side, like that, all the way not out, but all the way back yeah, it’s good to get a little bit of gun oil on your finger.

It just little dab of oil right in there, then just wipe that off with a rag so that, basically, you have just a very light coating of oil there and make sure that the screw on the bottom of this is not protruding, which it is not. It is flush, so this should slide right on here. It goes all the good you know till it till you get some tension, then you want to just push it with your thumb till you till it stops.

That point is where it stops right there. It now it’s time to bring the tool in focus. Okay. That is right about where we want to be push that right in the middle of that we just start gently a little bit just make sure. Well, they’re, nice and tight start gently screwing that that should move that site right into place. This is where you don’t want to screw up your brand new site.

It’s slang, it’s just going slow, it’s getting kind of tight twist the slider a little bit just make sure it’s in there feeling like it’s doing it to come out right there. You can’t be careful about going too far, because anybody have to turn around go back the other direction. I think we need to go a little further. Yes, we do okay, so that took some doing, but we got her next thing is to remove this allen key, or rather this set little screw and we will put a tiny little drop.

Loof blue thread lock on there, and we do it just a little tiny just about that, but should be just fine to hold that in there the top of the site piece of cake get down. Where is some tension? Give it a good craic turn the key around and give it a quick give it a good craic without bending the hell up key. That should be good all right on to the front side, this Glock 19 being a jet, for we will use this little screw sure with the differences but I’m gonna pull it out of here and what I pull the other one out of the front sight.

We will compare them and see that screw on. The right is the one that says it’s for the gym, for the one of the left is the one that came in the little sight, I think just it’s a shorter or screw it I. Don’t know! Why have you had that? That looks like a better screw to me? I almost want to use that one I think I might just use that one pretty simple.

Just take this front sight here face it torch, the back. Obviously- and it goes right in here- it only goes one way, because that’s kind of a little oval shape and the base on here’s the same shape so just drops in just like that should twist at all. No, it doesn’t that’s in there. Well just hold that in you take your little screw factor. Let me put a little thread lock on there.

Actually I want you guys, I. Think I’m gonna use this screw. Here, though, I mean it doesn’t seem that much different. It just looks like a better quality. The threads looked like they were a better shape of it, so you want to put just a teeny drop. A thread lock on here, I’ll be like right towards the tip of it like right. That’s probably enough right.

There yeah what’s more a little tiny, tiny there all right and then hold your site up. This goes right in here. It just turn get a little tension on it right about right about there. Let’s make sure this is straight, hold that I don’t want to twist it and I want to be turned at all. You know what I think I have to use that other screw to be honest with you, I think.

That’s I, think that is slightly too long, I’m gonna back that out and use the other screw. That says it’s for the gym for interesting I’ll have the screw for the jet for, in the driver a little bit of the red lock on it and right in to the slide. It goes all right now this yep that one’s actually working yeah, that’s surprising, well, I didn’t see much difference in those, but it’s true, the the one that says it’s for the Gen 4 is slightly shorter and it gets you a much better bite on the in the slide.

Make sure that’s not turned at all I think we did all right. This is where you really want to crack this bad boy. I mean you don’t want to bust it or anything, but you want it. You want that up nice and tight. That’s perfect! There we go there. Are your brand new night sets. Let’s put this bad boy back together, we’ll see how it looks. Oh yeah looks pretty good.

The back that looks perfect. Those are nice metal. Sights very good. Just back together here, see what it looks like take: a look at it in the dark -, pretty good, like a hundred percent dark, but dark enough to where you could see. It believe me in a dark, dark room. These are really really bright, so there you go, that was the $23 sight tool, the $8 front sight, driver and the forty dollar set of true glow night sights for the Glock and that all together, that’s your $75 set night sight job for a Glock pistol.

You can’t beat that that’s just too good thanks for watching pretty soon I’ll be having I’ll. Probably do a couple videos on a couple of these holsters I’d pick it up some Kydex one. This is a holster from badger concealment that I got for my Glock 29 I’ve been using that clock from the guide with this set of night, sights on it and that badger concealed, but as an EDC setup, and it’s been working really good, very nice, nice little holster and for 28 bucks I think it was I got another one I’d order for the Glock 19 so well that comes I’ll.

Compare the two and do a little bit of a review of that I also have another host recovered from my FNX 45 from a company out of Texas, so I’ll keep you posted and we’ll put some more stuff out here. It’s been a long time. I just been busy with work and stuff and haven’t had a lot of time to put anything on YouTube in a while.
