Hi, this is justice here with Lancaster archery supply here, to give you a product review on the trophy Ridge, whisker biscuit, kill, shot rest. The nice thing about the whisker biscuit, kill shot is that it has this full containment ring where your arrow actually slides in from the side. Just like that, and it’s going to hold your weather arrow, whether you’re walking around or moving around drawing your bow. The air is gonna stay inside there. The only way that that arrow is gonna come out is what, if you take the arrow out from sliding it this way or when you shoot it.
The arrow comes through, and the vanes come through this actual whisker, which does not give you any flight issues or anything like that. Also another nice thing about this, though, kill shot. You can move left and right by loosening this adjustment screw and watching these laser etching marks or by moving it up and down by loosening this set screw and then moving it up and down. You can also with the mounting screws that come with it. You mount it here on your bow and then there’s a locking screw there to make sure that this is secure to secure to your boat and it’s not going to come off, no matter what it also comes with these rubber boots, which helps when you’re loading your arrow.
If it hits the side of it, it’s not gonna make a clanking noise kind of like a metal one or a metal rest would the new kill shot is actually a hundred and fifty percent stronger than the older than all the other models that trophy Ridge has come out with on the whisker biscuit, and you can also go go from left or right-handed by just switching this bar around, so you can shoot it, but with it by a left-handed or right-handed. As you can see, it comes in multiple different colors.
It comes in the orange black, yellow, purple and green. If you have any more questions about the trophy Ridge kill shot rest, you can visit us at Lancaster, archery, comm,.
Hey everybody: this is pj reilly from lancaster archery got a product video for you today. We wanted to tell you about the trophy ridge. Whisker biscuit v-rest, whisker biscuit is a super popular rest, especially among hunters. That’s been around for a while, and this is trophy ridge’s upgraded version of that it is still a brush style, full containment rest. But what you’re going to notice is the name is that it’s, the whisker biscuit v you’ve got a v in the center there, where your arrow sits rather than the old circle.
The issue with the old circles was first off there. If your arrow fit it perfectly, you had lots of surface contact from the bristles around the arrow. Also, if you moved between different sizes of arrows, you had to get different size rests. There were different bristles for those arrows. If you had small diameter, you went with a small one. If you had a larger diameter, you had to go one with a more open hole so with the v that eliminates that, because your small diameters can fit in there, your larger diameters they’re all going to situate themselves into that v and because of the v now you’re, really only having contact on two sides of the arrow, rather than all the way around it.
So that’s going to have less resistance, as the arrow is sliding through and coming out of the bow. So the whisker biscuit v is the simplest version of the whisker biscuit in that it only has adjustments for windage. That’s right here screw. You would loosen this and you can move the rest left or right for elevation. You’re gonna have two bolts. Some risers you’re gonna have two holes in the riser. If you do, you can mount both of these screws in that’s gonna, give you the most secure fit, and so then for elevation.
You would adjust your knocking point to match the rest so that you can get perfect arrow flight. That way. Also this each rest is ambidextrous right now. I have this set up as a right-handed configuration for left-handed. I would just turn it around. You would unscrew this and reverse it mount it on the other side, and so now this would be left-handed with your connection point sitting back this way, so every one of them is left or right handed.
They can work equally well, both ways, so that is the trophy ridge whisker biscuit v: full containment, arrow rest. If you like this video give us thumbs up. Hey: what’s up it’s Marty with bear drop away versus a whisker biscuit. Okay, we’ve got the bear. Kuma 30 set up with the sink MD, it’s a drop away. Arrow rest. We got the bear kuma. The original kuma set up with a whisker biscuit, that’s your shot pro some people say: there’s pros and cons to each and I agree with him. One of the pros – this one right here is you get full arrow-containment, but it totally drops away from your arrow. When you shoot okay, this one, the Flushing’s have to go through those bristles.
Every time you shoot, one of the cons, I would say that gets in the way of your arrow touches the arrow. Does it slow it down yeah a little bit one of the pros. You don’t have to set this up every time you shoot, you don’t have to take it down or have it take itself down. Alright, when you shoot this one full arrow-containment, silent, 100%, accurate every time, it’s not moving and it’s reliable and it’s pretty much foolproof. That’s it’s great to teach people with as well.
It doesn’t matter what you end up. Getting they’re both awesome products, it’s all personal preference, whether you want to drop away or a whisker biscuit either way. Trophy Ridge makes awesome products. It’s gonna, look good! It’s gonna work good on your bear. Archery bow and you’re. Gonna love, either option good luck, shoot straight, BC, safe and have fun.
All right guys on today’s tip, I’m going to talk about paradox package bow and it comes with a d-loop on it and one of their whisker biscuit arrow rests. Everything is leveled from the factory. So when you purchase one of the bear package bows, they come ready to shoot. Another thing we like about the whisker biscuit style arrow rests is these things are tried and true they’ve been around for years. They are just an awesome hunting rest because you can put your arrow in that rest and you don’t have to worry about it, falling off of your rest as you’re moving the bow around up and down crawling around on game or whatever.
So, if you’re, looking for an easy uncomplicated way to get to the field check out the bear package bows and also look into these whisker biscuit style, arrow rests. You won’t be disappointed. They are an awesome, all-around hunting rest, especially for white tail hunters taking shots at deer inside of 40 yards.
Hey guys Jack here with trophy bridge and I, am extremely excited to bring some new innovation to you guys and for so many years there are so many guys out there who are shooting lip service, kids and well. We have made the whisker biscuit better, I know, I know you probably don’t think that we could do that, but we have- and we are here to introduce to you a new line of whisker biscuit. The whisker biscuit is a great product and still an amazing product have out there, but we wanted to make it better and keep innovating with the line of whisker biscuits and, as you can see here, we’ve got four different models to hit them any price point that you can think of.
So if you’re just an entry-level and you just want to get into it- we’ve got an arrow rest for that in all of our lives, my apparel rest as well. So let’s go into some of the features here that make this rest just different than the listserve is a great overall rest. So, first off it is a full capture arrest. So you can see here. I got one on my boat, I’m gonna, put it an arrow in here and once it’s in there, it doesn’t matter where you move your bow, I mean literally, you could shoot this boat upside down.
If you want to the arrow is not moving out of that rest. So number one is a full containment arrest that pulls your arrow completely captured through the whole character, all cycle and shot. One of the coolest thing about the line of biscuits. Is this the notch technology, as you can see, when you put an arrow in here you, your arrow, naturally aligns to. It naturally aligns down the bottom so that your arrow will always fall and use gravity in the middle to be federally aligned when you’re at full trough or when you’re shooting in in the past.
You know with normal whisper biscuits as you drew or torque your bow or move. There was a lot more points of contact here, there’s only two points of contact because of the v-notch technology. So that’s the whisker biscuit the whisker biscuit, and it is really just one of those things that we didn’t think that we could make better, but we continue to make it better so I’m going to go through now the three, our four different models of what your biscuit beat. So the first one here is just the overall lowest price point: it’s an ambidextrous rest.
So, no matter, if your left hand or right hand, you can shoot it. This is the list for biscuit, beat it’s the bottom line. It still has you know your horizontal adjustments, but it doesn’t have some of the things that the higher end whisker biscuit. B has the next one that we want to go into is the beak on the pecan brings a step up from the feet. The v+ actually is the next step up from the whisker biscuit me, and basically, what is the step up? Is that not only do you get your normal horizontal adjust adjustments on the rest, but you get a vertical adjustment as well.
This is going to help you tune that girl and your arrow fly. It’s so much better and we go up even more to the vite con. So this is the beak on the beak on brings in a an all-metal aluminum housing. So some of these are made out of a ballistic copolymer, where these are made out of the machined aluminum. So it’s a little bit more durable and a little bit more high-performance. There’s a capture to keep your arrows and help them flow a little bit better, but the overall staying, v-neck, v-notch technology and then the last one you can see here is the V Max and the V Max.
Basically right here allows you to have even more adjustment, so there’s micro adjustment here that will allow you to adjust horizontal and then vertical as well and really just overall customize that shot to be so much better when you release an arrow or when you’re out there coming and just in the target. Setting. One thing that is great about this is: we are able to use micro diameter arrows any size. Arrow is going to fit naturally into that V, because it uses gravity to just fall down and sit there.
So you can see that if I had a smaller micro diameter arrow, it would just fall naturally down into that bottom B, and so there’s no difference inside the original. Mr Biskit, so that’s the whole line and you can see a lot of those adjustments and how it changes from price point on line at trophy British. Comm from all of us here at trophy bridge, I’m really excited about it. I, don’t think. I didn’t think that we could make the list or biscuits better. But this is fun.
Oh right here and I’ve got one on it and I’m going to be shooting at this season. So go online. The trophy Ridge calm. It should be up here pretty shortly so that you can see all the products that we have to offer this year. Thanks for joining us and.

Very nice product- I love it also. It came at first glance: it air tm s, a cheap little china made knife, but after using it today, I will carry it daily for little stuff opening amazon boxes whatever great little bonus. I absolutely love this arrow rest. I have never had any issues loved it. So much that I put it on my wife’s bow as well. She showed instant improvement of speed and accuracy. I have a used ten-year-old bow that came with a drop away.
Rest with springs clasped, the arrow when it wasn’t drawn back. However, it kicked my arrows and even at 25 yards I would get a flyer arrow every fifth shot. I bought the cat from the local bow shop and had them install it. I no longer have a flyer arrow and my groupings are very tight. Now, if I have an arrow that goes off its cause, I moved picture is of a group at 60 yards. You.
Hey guys, it’s Justin czar, with bowhunting calm I’m here with Kevin from little bit about the ultra rest HDX, which is available in lost, camel so Kevin. What makes this uh rest unique, yeah! Well, this, like said ultra rest HDX. This is our top-of-the-line model. We offer three different models. This is the top of line. It is a drop away. Arrow rest, it has full containment, say arrow can never fall off the rest, even one something one thing specifically designed the special about RS.
If he is shot, doesn’t present itself and you got to let the bow down slow, it’s going to stay up all times, full containment. All the time just like by the only things that’s going to trigger is the only time it falls is when you actually fire the bow. Okay and you’re, going to get total flush and clearance for the fastest most accurate, shot possible out of your boat.
There’s some other things. We actually have that it’s a little different. It’s got a safety breakaway feature, so a lot of drop waves out there for some reason you don’t set it up right and or something happens, and it arrow blows through it right. It can destroy your rest or possibly cause an injury. But ours has a breakaway feature. So in case that happens, you don’t want to do all time, but it’ll actually break over.
If you don’t don’t, have it come all the way back and drop away so, and we got you know built-in dampeners for just a very quiet rest, some things like that, so we offer it in the lost camo, of course, and several other colors right right. I know it’s been a hugely popular rest with hunters out there you know the full containment drop away, arrow clearance, you pretty much got everything a bow hunter kill on now, like we said it’s available in lost camo to match the Matthews bow.
So if people want to learn more about this arrow rest or any other qad product, what’s your website address where they can go chat with be qad? I NC comm its qat, calm. Okay, there you go guys QED ultra rest, HDX.

To help us out with our 2017 hunting sent over enough of their ultra rests to outfit all of our test. Bows QED actually makes four different arrests and we’ve got three of them. The ultra rest hunter, the ultra rest, LD and the ultra rest HDX. All three of these come at different price points and have different features. Installation of any qad ultra rest is exactly the same, no matter which one you have. There are lots of videos online to show you how it’s done, but QED will include a DVD and an info sheet with each L to rest you by to help you along your way.
Doing the install is a pretty simple procedure. Ioad fitted all six of our test, bows with ultra rests and a single afternoon ioad fitted the bow tech rein 6 with the ultra rest hunter, which is QA Dee’s, most affordable, drop away rest at about $65, though all qad rests, come with full containment. I actually got rid of the top containment bar off this rest because it was coming really close to touching the dampener on the Flex card of the bow tech and I was a little worried about contact.
A key feature on all QED rests. Is the velocity drop away technology? What this allows you to do is draw your bow back with full containment and letdown. If you need to, and the launcher arm will stay completely upright in your arrow will still stay fully contained, the QED ultra rest hunter has a 90 day. Factory warranty one step up from the hunter is the ultra rest LD, which I have installed here on the bear ls6 this rest retails for about 120 dollars.
The bump in price comes with some additional features, and the key one for me is the addition of a vertical adjustment, the hunter you could change the angle of the launcher blade, but when you move up to the LD, you can move it up, and down and micro adjustments as you need to the LD also has what QED calls lockdown technology, and basically this means that, after the shot, when the launcher blade Falls, it is guaranteed not to jump back up and hit your arrow I never had this problem on the hunter at all, but it’s nice to know that it’s guaranteed not to happen with the upgrade to the LD.
The longtime flagship of the QED ultra rest family is the HDX which I have installed here on the expedition. Explorer SS this rest carries a retail price of about one hundred and forty-five dollars. As far as features go. The HDX is largely the same as the LD. It does come with a redesigned housing here and they curved up containment bar which allows clearance for larger veins. So if you like to shoot big veins help guide your broadheads.
This is the Q ad for you, you, you.
Had to get her number six weeks are she backs in here with another video I’m gonna be doing it on my Hugh ad ultra resto de. Let me get you focused. Don’t work, focus ultrasound this when for fifty dollars at Cabela’s and I figured, why don’t give it a try, because I could probably sell it to somebody for fifty bucks if I didn’t like it and so far, I really like it, it I mean it’s really nice.
It gets completely out of the way I’ve not had any trouble with anything touching and I’ve had a lot more consistent groups and like sometimes with your whisker biscuit you’d, have like that outlier or whatever, but this seems like it eliminates that and it’s all made out of metal or aluminum, except for the little part right here and the part that holds your arrow and the part that keeps your arrow in there and everything else is a loop well, leaving them steel.
Whatever it’s made out of I. Did it I didn’t attach it inside my bust cable, because I didn’t have a big press to compress my bow and put it inside the bus, cable, so I’ve been using this right here that came with it and I haven’t, had any trouble with it so far, but if I start having too I’ll just take it to the bow shop and have them put, it well put it in the bus, cable, but one of the nice features about this is why I really like this little lever right here, that you can, instead of having just to like turn it like some of the ones have you can have that little lever to use and it has felt along the inside of the V that holds your arrow and above so that it don’t scratch your arrow.
If some of you guys are shooting like $12 arrows and that’s pretty much it and I think it’s a really nice rest for the money. – I mean for $25, you can get a whisker biscuit and you shoot groups like this and I mean like for hunting. Yeah, that’s okay, but now this it just took the groups down to like that, right there and also I’m getting more feet per second out of my bow with this and with like, because it has ten times less friction because, like a whisker, biscuits like that being around -, it’s not it don’t go out past your handle and it’s a lot more compact I think.
So that’s all for this video see you later. This is our sea basses before we ended off here, remember to comment in the comment section first and you’ll get a shout out on my next video see you guys later.
