Okay next we're going to be looking at rough wares new foot range harness. This is a very comfortable very fashionable great everyday use harness. And we'll run through. Some features as. We try the harness on with Sydney it's going to help. Us yeah good boy sit good boy okay let's run through. Some features of the harness has two attachment points the aluminum lightweight nice chunky V ring and also an attachment on the front of the harness as well so the front attachment is really useful. If you're training your dog. And pulling across the doctor chest with the lead will discourage the dog from pulling so. This harness has a padded chest area, so we're going to get a really good lord dispersal of Sydney's weird throughout the harness. And we're going to be able to get a very personalized fit. Because we have four points of adjustment across the harness as well the first thing we need to do is to measure our dog to see which size harness we're going to need.
And the easiest way to do. That is with a tailor's tip. Or if you don't have a tailor's tip use a piece of string and then just measure. That against a measuring tip. And I'm going to use a little treat to get Sidney to stand up good boy Sidney. And then I'm measuring around the widest part of Sidney's chest. And from that I can see. That Sidney is 61 centimeters 24 inches. And if we check those measurements against the sizing chart. We can see that Sidney is a small. And that's what we've got here to try on him today so. Once we've measured the dog. And we think we have the right size harness for him the next step is to make sure. We get the perfect fit.
And to do that we need to open the harness out fully loosen off. All of the straps and then using the four points of adjustment slowly fit the harness to Sidney so. That we get the perfect fit. If we look at the harness they're just. All quite small with. All of the straps on their tightest point was. Once you've fitted the dog you're never going to have to use the straps again so. When fitting the harness onto the dog. We want to be approaching the dog from the side as. Iam here with said I've got sit on my side he's nice and relaxed I'm using treats to make sure. That the whole fit in. And wear it of the harness is gonna be a pleasurable experience for Sydney make sure. You use a tasty treat. Something that your dog really likes. And he's going to think of as being a special treat. And then once we've got the dog calm. And relaxed and we've opened out the harness. We can begin the fitting head in her voice hiddenly good boy so there. We have it Sydney has a perfect fit with the 4 points of adjustment let's run through a couple of the other feature we've already mentioned the aluminum V ring and the front point of attachment as well to help with the dog pulling the harness also has a reflective trim right across.
It comes in four groovy colors. And the great feature for a harness is. This one has a ID pocket to keep the dog's ID in. Or a spare ID if your dog wasn't wearing a collar goes in the back here so there. We go a great comfortable safe everyday harness well is it.
hey guys what's up in those past clips. You probably saw my dog Bella wearing this is a Front Range ruff wear harness. It was $3995 which I think is a bit expensive for a harness which is why I'm reviewing it to tell. You guys if it's really worth the money so let's bring my dog Bella in so. She can help to know the harness is super easy to put on. You have to do is slip. It over your dog's head. And clip these buttons. One thing you have to make sure of is. That bit line of padding is right in the middle of your dog's legs are else. It might give it a rash. This harness is actually specifically made of a special soft material so. That your dog doesn't get. Any rashes under the legs. Now I've had this for about two months. And so far no rashes so. That is true one thing I don't like about the harness is its $3925 on Amazon. Ithink for a harness that's. This quality the it should be is $20. Or $25 but almost $40 just seems way too much for a harness especially.
When I'm paying for it with my own money other. This harness is pretty cool. You can get it in a bunch of different colors. And a bunch of different sizes. Now for Bella I got her a medium purple. Ijust think purple looks good on her there's two leash attachment points. This attachment point right here on the back. One on their chest for Polar's. One thing I don't like about the harness is there's. These pull tabs on the side. You can pull it to make. It tighter or looser. Me literally an hour to size. This to my dog I don't think. It should take that long but luckily. You do only have to do. And then you have to do like. Isaid it's just unclip. And clip these buttons back in. One cool feature you want to go colorless. When you're walking your dog is there's. This little port on the back of. It that's his ID now it's a Velcro. You can open it has. This string that comes out. You can attach your dog's ID to set.
If your dog runs away. Or gets lost then it shouldn't be too difficult for the animal control to bring your dog home. Ijust don't like how hard. It is see this is just a little tab. That says ID some people might not see. This harness is not restricting you know my dog Bella can't run swim play jump do. Whatever it is in this harness without an irritating so my review concludes as cons. Idon't like how long. It takes it tightens. Idon't like the price but. Everything else is pretty cool. You have enough money for it's a really nice harness. You might want to consider buying it also pleases consider subscribing to my channel. One video every weekend on Sundays. And you're not gonna want to miss. It thanks you so much for watching have a good day buy.
Everyone I'm Scott with the dog outdoors. And today we're taking a look the new ruff. Where Front Range harness. These are really great harnesses they've got awesome padding on them. They can be used for a variety of different activities from walking your dog to. Even to biking your dog. They work great they've got two different points of a attachment which I'll show. You up close here in a second giving you. Some different options. They are comfortable enough for your dog to. Even wear an extended period of time so they've actually got a nice little ID tag. You can put your dog's ID tags right in. This velcros part here. You want to keep it on your dog an extended period of time. If they weren't the type of dog that's prone to chewing you can see here it's got an aluminum v ring right up at the top real strong attachment point right up at the top there it's also got a secondary attachment point right on the front of the chest so. This is useful for getting additional control of your dog. Or for training purposes. You can see this is Parker so it's a it's got a little bit of hair. All throughout it but it's got padding all the way throughout. It so you've got the whole front chest portion padded. Idon't know you can see. That but it's a nice foam cushion padding on. All the way down this is the important part.
Ibelieve all the way down to the straps. That go behind the front legs. They have the padding on them as well. What I hear from a lot of dog owners is. That the strap behind the legs is the part. That tends to rub or cause irritation on dogs. Most frequently with your everyday harness. That you'll find out there so having the padding additional padding in. This area is awesome it's great I'm going to put. It on Parker here in a second show. What it looks like on the dog comes in a gray color as. You can see we've got a couple of other colors as well a blue a pink color. And an orange color very high visibility has reflective stripping throughout the harness so the for nighttime visibility four points of adjustment so.
You can adjust it to get the fit just right for your dog so here let's let's take a look at how to put. It on the dog it looks on Parker alright here's mr Parker he's going to help. Me demonstrate how to put. This harness on I'm going to do my best with. One hand one other thing I wanted to point out was. It has two connection points on the back. This makes it easy for you to just put. It over your dog's head. And clip them in they don't have to step into the harness. Some dogs are kind of timid but especially older dogs. Or sometimes timid about having to step into your traditional harnesses but. One just slips over the head it's got the four adjustment points. One two three four to get the fit just right. Imentioned the reflective stripping let's let's put. It on Parker come on Parker hop up Parker come here move.
Ican get this on come on buddy good boy okay got. It over the hood so. You just put it over the head. And then you just take the strap from. Either side and connect. It there's and two so. You can see it's got the main primary v ring the aluminum v ring right in the back there so. Imentioned the ID holder. You wanted to not have your dog wear a collar. You wanted the you didn't want the tags to jingle. You could put the ID tag right in here. If your dog's wearing it extended period of time hey Parker hop up Parker come here Parker come on boy let's see. All right and then. You can see up underneath get the padding the front attachment point the padding following all the way down the chest back behind the front legs on. That strap right there so you're not going to get. Any rubbing issues this is a very comfortable harness Parker loves. It looks really sharp — good boy Parker come on buddy let's go here's a closer look at those other colors the orange campfire orange in the blue five different color five different size options I'm sorry.
And there's sizing information on the page tells. How to take your dog's measurements. And the different sizes here's an up close look at these sizes. And it's based on your dog's girth measurement at the deepest part of the chest behind the front legs go Parker go on Parker go get her boy get her go Parker.
