We’re just wrapping up our hunt today. Iwanted to go over. One of the things we were using we’re hunting this really low-cut hay field. You can see the haze a lot shorter. Then the blinds we’re using so. We had to stubble in with a lot of brush from a hedgerow almost make. It looks like we’re a swath of the farmer mist but the product I’m using day is the Cabala’s Mobil. One lay off line this thing is perfect for you guys. That are hiking into spots. So I’m in the Mississippi Delta. And it’s freezing and. Ihave been wrestling with putting together the banded ax combo vote sure blonde besides the instructions being some kind of ridiculously poorly planned. Most poor executed set of instructions I’ve ever seen with typographical errors in the actual assembly diagrams. And so on and so forth. Iwas able to barely get. It put together but. Ihaven’t finished I want to show. Something first the blind itself has avery markings on. It which before people started hating in the comments. They got taken over by avery that’s not. What really troubles. Me let’s take a look here. Now instruction number. One is to verify. These bolts were here which in. Some regard a few of these pieces such as. This piece already have bolts in. Ifirst looked at I said well maybe those bolts. That they’re referring to. Because you’re supposed to have 28 pieces.
Some bolts that have already become pre assembled but that’s not right get. All the way up to getting this built in the middle of the night to get a duct cutting and. We come over here bolt number two 20 pieces. Once again bolt number two 20 pieces bolt number two 28 pieces. Iam indeed missing eight bolts so here’s the blind. And eight bolts that I’m missing aren’t inconsequential they’re the bolts. That actually hold up the supports. You were curious about. It have avery markings I’ll try to get. This light out of the way but there is your avery outdoors insignia. Idon’t know excuse the camera. Idon’t know bandits product control is going down. Whatever but this thing is a nightmare to assemble. And then it down to the bottom. And go to put the last final support. What you can see is missing and the eight bolts to there too there.
And to there are missing so good job banded obviously supports. Ihave a bandit vest on right. Idon’t know I can turn. It around because I’m wearing a headlamp but. Iwanted to make this video why things refreshing on my mind. If you’re gonna hate about the light. Or the quality go ahead. Idon’t really care but the point is. That I’m an hour from home. You can probably see the ice glistening on. And sub-zero excuse. Me sub-freezing temperatures attempting to put together a duck blind which is by. It had not been opened. It had not been altered. All of the pieces were wrapped in plastic as. You can see over there. It was not a bolt and used. Or put back in the box. Idon’t know it bans did get your together. Us hunters love you to death but. You got to stranded out here in front of a beautiful duck hunting area. We want to throw together a blind. Today we’ll be assembling an 1800 series beaver tail boat line which is the same process as our 1400 our 1600. And our 2200 series beaver tail. Both lines first of. All before we assemble our will flying today we’re going to go through. Each one of the components. And explain what they are starting with our main support brackets our 24 inch rubber tip ends which fit into the support fragments to pivot brackets eight total L brackets elbows. That we use on the 1800 series. And the 2200 series. Both lines we have four. That are along in a little bit longer for larger with boats being 18 to 20 feet. Now with our 1400 and our 1600 series. Both lines all eight elbows will be the same. Now we’ll explain later on where. These particular ones go. We have our eight center support poles. And four Center support pull em s. And I’ll come over here. And we have our 1800 series shadow grass fabric. And our 1800 series rip stop nylon cover sandwich between two vinyls with straps. And rounding this off is out to travel straps which a lot of our customers can.
Either mount with this attachable screw in the center support bracket. Or just strap their blind in place. When traveling long distances. Ilay out my hardware individually so. Imake sure that all my bolts have knots. All my washers are in place. And my screws and other hardware are here with every book line. You will have 32 quarter inch bolts with 32 cords nylock nuts 12 3/8 by 2 inch bolt. And 12 3/8 nylock nuts. And 16 plastic washers. You will also have eight end caps for self-tapping two. And a half inch screws two nylon travel straps. And four lock down hands first of. All I start by pairing up my three sets of support bars in. Each three sets you will have to support bars. That have a male and a female. And a 1 support bar.
That has two female items. And what we will do is take the support bars. Because you want to end up on outer ends with a female end slide those together. All the holes are redrilled so there’s no drilling required with our. Both plugs once you line your bowls up that’s. When you will take your quarter inch screw. Or your quarter inch bolt. And put two here and two there. And repeat the process as. Ishow you know I’ll assemble the center support tubes in three pieces. All four of them I’ll have. You unpack your beaver tail canvas. And lay it on the table inside up by turning the blind inside out. You will find four individual support pole pockets do is insert the main support full pocket slide.
It repeats that step. You know this is where. We make the determination oh. These will be your two outside support poles. And your two center support poles. This is where when. You go back to your pile brackets will need to login in operations. And to Center out brackets Center an L brackets to the shorter L brackets go to the center. And large wall brackets will go to the two outer sides to install the. All bracket it’s the same process as installing the support to slide the male. And the female and use your quarter inch bolts. And nylock nut and repeat the process three. More times as you can see we’ve assembled our car brackets to our center support bolts as. You can see there’s two longer L brackets on the outside for the 1800 series. And the 2200 series block line. And two of the shorter L brackets for the center. What you’ll do to finish. This harder process slide let’s get to up to the corner of the L bracket.
And then you will repeat the assembly process on the opposite side of the blind just as. You did on this end as well. When installing a 1400 series in a 1600 series block line. All eight L brackets. Or corner supports will be identical same length so. You will not have to alternate so. Now what we’re going to work on is our main support beams. And our pivot brackets. Now I will install. They sent me into this little tractor. And this point it’s not crucial to Center. It rights at this moment well. What is crucial is what side. You want your clamps which adjust. And lock down your boat line to its to the boat to the gunnels. What side you want. These to be on you want them facing inside. Or outside that’ll be up to.
You I particularly like to face them to the inside less stuff can grab them. And I can also adjust. It while I’m in the pipeline itself the same thing on the opposite export beef. Iwill install by four rubber dipped clamp ends at my four clamp bolts. And repeat the process. You next what I will do is I’ll bring these items fully assembled to the boat. And center my pivot bracket to the center of the boat so. We ensure that the boat line will fall correctly. And deploy correctly it’s. Now that we parse our cross members on our fault. And I’ll have you do is the center. This support the main support bar. Iwill measure the sea. Ihave a proper distance. Or the same distance on. This side as I do that side. And I will do the same thing in the rear. Once I determined that. Ihave the main support beam Center.
Iwill lock down my bolts. And then I will Center my pivot bracket so. What I’ll do now is I’ll Center our pivot bracket by tapping it with a hammer in. Either direction to ensure. That I have a uniform distance between here. And here tap up the bracket to see. It and then our next step we’ll add our two inch 3/8 bolts to the bottom to lock our pivot bracket in place we’ll also repeat the step on the rear bracket. When determining the front from the back on the beaver tail boat line canvas our canvases are construction. Where we have three loops in the front cutouts be. It for a swamp light package. Or side lights like. Some other boat manufacturers have. And the rear of our boat has just a tapered edge. And straight across so. When you bring your frame to attach to the cross member in pivot brackets you’ll note. That this is the rear of the blind.
And the opposite is the front. Once you’ve determined the front from the back of your boat line take your left side out. Or log or two for your 1830 book line. And slide it into the pivot cradle. Now what we’re going to do is we’re going to utilize our 3/8 bolts. And our nylon washers. And what we do there is take your call drill the hole in the center off your three is pulled through nylon washer go on the inside. And this can be a little tricky. One extra tool you may want to use. When doing this procedure is a long skinny standard screwdriver. Because if they fall down below. You can fish them off so. What I do is I slide the part through the hole on the elbow to. Igrab my other nylon washer. Iput it on the back side on the inside of the pivot bracket pop. It through put my nylock not on the back don’t tighten.
It down at this point towards the end of. This segment I’ll tell. You why we’re not going to tighten them. All the way down continue the process in the rear. And then what you’ll do is you’ll take your next role. Or your next support beam which will be. One of your centers. That will go here the right center will go here. And the opposite long support two will go here. And as you notice I have. It collapses down to the left side of the boat being this end open. It will fall to the left. Ihave this bracket Swisher on would fall to the right. Now that I have all. These attached and. Yet we have not tightened down. These bolts yet at. This time what I want. You to do is take and fold over your book line run. It on the back and do. This and every boat is different.
And we manufacture a universal. And now is the time. Where you want to measure. And make sure that your measurements early on in the assembly process were accurate so. What I recommend doing is started in the rear. And because we’re up front I’ll show. You what I’m talking about just I’ll take a measurement from the gunnel to the outside of. This bar okay right here. Ihave a nine-inch over. Now if this was a. This is a 1750 boat. If this was in 1860 I’ve had I’d have about 2 inches overhead. And I’ll cover the overhang in a minute but. Ihave nine inches here. And I also want to have nine inches on the other side of the boat. And I do if you do not. What you’ll do is you’ll loosen up your clamp rackets here. You loosen those up. And you’ll take up the difference by adjusting left. Or right in the center support bracket to make sure you’re. Both measurements come off the same. Now with this overhang. That we have is nine inches. Now if you have a similar situation.
That we have here what I would have. You do is disconnect. This bolt and that’s why we didn’t tighten them measure eight. And a half inches up cut the bar drill a new through race hall a half an inch above your cut line. And put the bolt back in place. What that will do is. That will shore up the edge of your book line so. It rides right on the gunnel of your boat. It won’t create as much as. You might think of slack in your fabric later. Iwill show you a bullet line. That we’ve already done. That too and the amount of slack is very minimal. And what we have with. These shot carts all the way around the bottom. And the boat line that will take up. Many of that extra slack. That you may have know. If you choose to leave. It this way it’s fine it’s not going to hinder. Anything or what not but. What it will do is in windy conditions you’re going to have a draft right here so. Once you’ve done that. You can tighten the four bolts in the front.
And in the back going backwards a little bit. Once you cut this eight. And a half inches and drill the 3/8 hole a half-inch up. You would do the same on the opposite side. Because we have the same overhead. You don’t want to cut the nine inches. Because then you know actually your boat line will stick inside the boat. One of the big advantages to a beaver tail boat line is. You have full usable space to the inside of the pole boats are enough money. You want to be able to use. All the space inside there’s. Nothing that’s hanging over your head there’s. Nothing that is mounted on the inside. Everything is mounted to the outside of the boat so. You have full range of motion to the interior.
And once you’ve completed. That if by chance you have overhung in the rear be. It very minimal this boat here has 2. And 3/4 inches of overhang in the rear. Now if this is my board. Iwould leave it because. That amount of overhang isn’t really affecting anything for me. Idon’t feel that I would get much of a draft out of. It but if you wanted. That tighter fit you can go ahead. And cut two and a quarter inches off drill three is whole half an inch off then reattach. It and the blind will be specifically fit to your boat. If it’s a boat plan. That you’re going to move from boat to boat. Idon’t recommend cutting it. Or tailoring it at all. Now this is a 1600 series block line. That we cut to shorten the outside bars to specifically fit.
This Oh it is the same boat. That we assembled the shadow graph 1800 series multiplying dot well. We fit it to this bullet so. You can see the difference. This is all you want your support bar. Or side bar to rest on your gun after. You cut it and again as. You can see very minimal slack in the blind material itself for storing and transporting your beaver tail boat client as. Imentioned earlier. Each one of our clients comes with a travel cover. And what you’ll do is as. You can see I laid the travel cover underneath the blind pool. It pulls your beaver tail. Or client fabric around the corners here let. Any excess material into the flight itself.
Now there is enough space. If you have your book line graph stop. That this cover is adjustable with six inches. And it’s there’s already room in there to take up. Any grasses that you may use so. Once I pull the fabric. Inormally start from front to back make my blind cover match. It with the clips stitch. It tight you and all. Ido is we’ll take the blind travel cover over in a row. And you can see now the seam is on the bottom side. Now if you’re going to travel long distances as. Irefer to the travel strap comes included in the beaver tail. Both wide it also comes equipped with four self-tapping screws. If you’re ever going to take the bullet blind off. Irecommend not using it self-tapping screws. Because if you have a narrower front like. This boat you’re going to end up screwing in through the support bar clamp. And every time you want to take the boat bind off you’ll have to take.
This screw off what we do with. These straps cinch them through so traveling long distances. You won’t have a tendency to have the blind flare up. And a wind cross when your whatnot locks. It in place and one for the front. And one for the rear just remember you’re going to use your duck boat for fishing as well in the summer. These multipliers can be taken off just like. It sits here you can remove them from the boat hang them on the garage wall hanging from the trusses in the garage. Wherever hanging them on the side of the ship the removable pops on pops off.

When you bring your frame to attach to the cross member in pivot brackets you’ll note. That this is the rear of the blind.
And the opposite is the front. Once you’ve determined the front from the back of your boat line take your left side out. Or log or two for your 1830 book line. And slide it into the pivot cradle. Now what we’re going to do is we’re going to utilize our 3/8 bolts. And our nylon washers. And what we do there is take your call drill the hole in the center off your three is pulled through nylon washer go on the inside. And this can be a little tricky. One extra tool you may want to use. When doing this procedure is a long skinny standard screwdriver. Because if they fall down below. You can fish them off so. What I do is I slide the part through the hole on the elbow to. Igrab my other nylon washer. Iput it on the back side on the inside of the pivot bracket pop. It through put my nylock not on the back don’t tighten.
It down at this point towards the end of. This segment I’ll tell. You why we’re not going to tighten them. All the way down continue the process in the rear. And then what you’ll do is you’ll take your next role. Or your next support beam which will be. One of your centers. That will go here the right center will go here. And the opposite long support two will go here. And as you notice I have. It collapses down to the left side of the boat being this end open. It will fall to the left. Ihave this bracket Swisher on would fall to the right. Now that I have all. These attached and. Yet we have not tightened down. These bolts yet at. This time what I want. You to do is take and fold over your book line run. It on the back and do. This and every boat is different.
And we manufacture a universal. And now is the time. Where you want to measure. And make sure that your measurements early on in the assembly process were accurate so. What I recommend doing is started in the rear. And because we’re up front I’ll show. You what I’m talking about just I’ll take a measurement from the gunnel to the outside of. This bar okay right here. Ihave a nine-inch over. Now if this was a. This is a 1750 boat. If this was in 1860 I’ve had I’d have about 2 inches overhead. And I’ll cover the overhang in a minute but. Ihave nine inches here. And I also want to have nine inches on the other side of the boat. And I do if you do not. What you’ll do is you’ll loosen up your clamp rackets here. You loosen those up. And you’ll take up the difference by adjusting left. Or right in the center support bracket to make sure you’re. Both measurements come off the same. Now with this overhang. That we have is nine inches. Now if you have a similar situation.
That we have here what I would have. You do is disconnect. This bolt and that’s why we didn’t tighten them measure eight. And a half inches up cut the bar drill a new through race hall a half an inch above your cut line. And put the bolt back in place. What that will do is. That will shore up the edge of your book line so. It rides right on the gunnel of your boat. It won’t create as much as. You might think of slack in your fabric later. Iwill show you a bullet line. That we’ve already done. That too and the amount of slack is very minimal. And what we have with. These shot carts all the way around the bottom. And the boat line that will take up. Many of that extra slack. That you may have know. If you choose to leave. It this way it’s fine it’s not going to hinder. Anything or what not but. What it will do is in windy conditions you’re going to have a draft right here so. Once you’ve done that. You can tighten the four bolts in the front.
And in the back going backwards a little bit. Once you cut this eight. And a half inches and drill the 3/8 hole a half-inch up. You would do the same on the opposite side. Because we have the same overhead. You don’t want to cut the nine inches. Because then you know actually your boat line will stick inside the boat. One of the big advantages to a beaver tail boat line is. You have full usable space to the inside of the pole boats are enough money. You want to be able to use. All the space inside there’s. Nothing that’s hanging over your head there’s. Nothing that is mounted on the inside. Everything is mounted to the outside of the boat so. You have full range of motion to the interior.
And once you’ve completed. That if by chance you have overhung in the rear be. It very minimal this boat here has 2. And 3/4 inches of overhang in the rear. Now if this is my board. Iwould leave it because. That amount of overhang isn’t really affecting anything for me. Idon’t feel that I would get much of a draft out of. It but if you wanted. That tighter fit you can go ahead. And cut two and a quarter inches off drill three is whole half an inch off then reattach. It and the blind will be specifically fit to your boat. If it’s a boat plan. That you’re going to move from boat to boat. Idon’t recommend cutting it. Or tailoring it at all. Now this is a 1600 series block line. That we cut to shorten the outside bars to specifically fit.
This Oh it is the same boat. That we assembled the shadow graph 1800 series multiplying dot well. We fit it to this bullet so. You can see the difference. This is all you want your support bar. Or side bar to rest on your gun after. You cut it and again as. You can see very minimal slack in the blind material itself for storing and transporting your beaver tail boat client as. Imentioned earlier. Each one of our clients comes with a travel cover. And what you’ll do is as. You can see I laid the travel cover underneath the blind pool. It pulls your beaver tail. Or client fabric around the corners here let. Any excess material into the flight itself.
Now there is enough space. If you have your book line graph stop. That this cover is adjustable with six inches. And it’s there’s already room in there to take up. Any grasses that you may use so. Once I pull the fabric. Inormally start from front to back make my blind cover match. It with the clips stitch. It tight you and all. Ido is we’ll take the blind travel cover over in a row. And you can see now the seam is on the bottom side. Now if you’re going to travel long distances as. Irefer to the travel strap comes included in the beaver tail. Both wide it also comes equipped with four self-tapping screws. If you’re ever going to take the bullet blind off. Irecommend not using it self-tapping screws. Because if you have a narrower front like. This boat you’re going to end up screwing in through the support bar clamp. And every time you want to take the boat bind off you’ll have to take.
This screw off what we do with. These straps cinch them through so traveling long distances. You won’t have a tendency to have the blind flare up. And a wind cross when your whatnot locks. It in place and one for the front. And one for the rear just remember you’re going to use your duck boat for fishing as well in the summer. These multipliers can be taken off just like. It sits here you can remove them from the boat hang them on the garage wall hanging from the trusses in the garage. Wherever hanging them on the side of the ship the removable pops on pops off.

Today we’ll be assembling an 1800 series beaver tail boat line which is the same process as our 1400 our 1600. And our 2200 series beaver tail. Both lines first of. All before we assemble our will flying today we’re going to go through. Each one of the components. And explain what they are starting with our main support brackets our 24 inch rubber tip ends which fit into the support fragments to pivot brackets eight total L brackets elbows. That we use on the 1800 series. And the 2200 series. Both lines we have four. That are along in a little bit longer for larger with boats being 18 to 20 feet. Now with our 1400 and our 1600 series. Both lines all eight elbows will be the same. Now we’ll explain later on where. These particular ones go. We have our eight center support poles. And four Center support pull em s. And I’ll come over here. And we have our 1800 series shadow grass fabric. And our 1800 series rip stop nylon cover sandwich between two vinyls with straps. And rounding this off is out to travel straps which a lot of our customers can.
Either mount with this attachable screw in the center support bracket. Or just strap their blind in place. When traveling long distances. Ilay out my hardware individually so. Imake sure that all my bolts have knots. All my washers are in place. And my screws and other hardware are here with every book line. You will have 32 quarter inch bolts with 32 cords nylock nuts 12 3/8 by 2 inch bolt. And 12 3/8 nylock nuts. And 16 plastic washers. You will also have eight end caps for self-tapping two. And a half inch screws two nylon travel straps. And four lock down hands first of. All I start by pairing up my three sets of support bars in. Each three sets you will have to support bars. That have a male and a female. And a 1 support bar.
That has two female items. And what we will do is take the support bars. Because you want to end up on outer ends with a female end slide those together. All the holes are redrilled so there’s no drilling required with our. Both plugs once you line your bowls up that’s. When you will take your quarter inch screw. Or your quarter inch bolt. And put two here and two there. And repeat the process as. Ishow you know I’ll assemble the center support tubes in three pieces. All four of them I’ll have. You unpack your beaver tail canvas. And lay it on the table inside up by turning the blind inside out. You will find four individual support pole pockets do is insert the main support full pocket slide.
It repeats that step. You know this is where. We make the determination oh. These will be your two outside support poles. And your two center support poles. This is where when. You go back to your pile brackets will need to login in operations. And to Center out brackets Center an L brackets to the shorter L brackets go to the center. And large wall brackets will go to the two outer sides to install the. All bracket it’s the same process as installing the support to slide the male. And the female and use your quarter inch bolts. And nylock nut and repeat the process three. More times as you can see we’ve assembled our car brackets to our center support bolts as. You can see there’s two longer L brackets on the outside for the 1800 series. And the 2200 series block line. And two of the shorter L brackets for the center. What you’ll do to finish. This harder process slide let’s get to up to the corner of the L bracket.
And then you will repeat the assembly process on the opposite side of the blind just as. You did on this end as well. When installing a 1400 series in a 1600 series block line. All eight L brackets. Or corner supports will be identical same length so. You will not have to alternate so. Now what we’re going to work on is our main support beams. And our pivot brackets. Now I will install. They sent me into this little tractor. And this point it’s not crucial to Center. It rights at this moment well. What is crucial is what side. You want your clamps which adjust. And lock down your boat line to its to the boat to the gunnels. What side you want. These to be on you want them facing inside. Or outside that’ll be up to.
You I particularly like to face them to the inside less stuff can grab them. And I can also adjust. It while I’m in the pipeline itself the same thing on the opposite export beef. Iwill install by four rubber dipped clamp ends at my four clamp bolts. And repeat the process. You next what I will do is I’ll bring these items fully assembled to the boat. And center my pivot bracket to the center of the boat so. We ensure that the boat line will fall correctly. And deploy correctly it’s. Now that we parse our cross members on our fault. And I’ll have you do is the center. This support the main support bar. Iwill measure the sea. Ihave a proper distance. Or the same distance on. This side as I do that side. And I will do the same thing in the rear. Once I determined that. Ihave the main support beam Center.
Iwill lock down my bolts. And then I will Center my pivot bracket so. What I’ll do now is I’ll Center our pivot bracket by tapping it with a hammer in. Either direction to ensure. That I have a uniform distance between here. And here tap up the bracket to see.
