This is October 13th it’s a Wednesday afternoon. And nice winds the afternoon. And we’re gonna try. Something new out here on our 40 acre property it’s mostly CRP out here. We planted this about four years ago. It growed up into some nice. Some real nice tall Indian grass, but we’ve got. Some areas here in the back. We planted a thousand oak trees. This cover runs up against. Some areas that really don’t get. Any hunting pressure there’s a couple preserves to our west here. And to our north but to our far south over here gets a ton of hunting pressure last year. We had quite a few Mountie cameras out. This area over here. We had a small stripe. That was started we were able to continue to use. That scrape for the whole year with a new product. We found developed by code blue first year I’d ever used. It was a real interesting product. We ran across but this year they’ve got. Some new stuff out it’s called gravedigger. And I’ve seen it advertised on TV. And we’re gonna try. It we’re gonna put this on the existing scrape. That was there to see. We can freshen some of the Bucks to come back. And to get some of the dough’s to hit. And we’ve got some got. Another scrape up here on a corner of a woods. That we’ve got I scraped a big round spot in yesterday. And we’re going to put. This whitetail doe estrus on. And we’re going to hang above. One of these new products. That code blue come out with.
What I am fall pretty unique was. This pourcel gland for real long tube soaked in the excretions off the bucks pourcel plan high-powered stuff high-powered stuff. And the nice thing about code blue products. And it’s even documented with serial number. This product only comes from. One buck a lot of other products. You see out on the market. They excrete the extractions out of the buck it’s. All mixed together you get multiple bucks. These bucks out here can sense. That with code blue. You just get one buck. One buck only in a bottle so it’s high-powered out of. One buck it doesn’t make the box leery especially older bucks the little bucks. You could fool they haven’t been around long but. You want to kill a5 a6. And I’m talking the Big Daddy twelves. That really have been around the woods long then. You got to use something that’s good alright, so we’re gonna take a walk back there today.
And try out a few of these code blue products. That just come out because like. Isaid last year was my first year. You get pictures on the trail camera that’s. What you believe people that’s why I’m gonna hang the torsional glam. This porcelain product up out of. That Bush dangle it down that’s. What the directions say to do on. This stuff I’m not sure. What it’s all about but. Ibrought my rubber gloves I’ve sprayed down I’m trying to keep the scent free as. Ican hear with this product okay. Now we’re gonna put the buck in start. One okay now we’re gonna put the buck urine product in the other hole. This right here is really usually started out about the size of buffers founder then.
We started putting the closed blue product on. And within two weeks. This stream ended up the size of Volkswagens good we’ve got. Some really amazing crayons. And pictures off of. And we’ve been using Moultrie trail in pictures over here ever since we’ve heard. This popping in the CRV so it’s been four years we’ve got four different Mountie cameras. Ispread them out all over. This small little piece of property but. Ilove the pictures. We get amazing deer pictures. And dirty pictures it’s just awesome so let’s get on over here. And we’ll get this done. And get out of here before the evening hunt gets here ended up last year the size of a Volkswagen after ruts over so. These channels gonna see. We can reactivate they haven’t started using it. Yet but I’m gonna see. Ican reactivate what happens I’ve got a trail camera right. Now a Mountie I haven’t split. It on there yesterday. And it’s got it’s got 16 pictures on.
It but very active trail here there’s about three really active trails. That come together where a fence is opened up right here. It pours into a real nice food plot so. They come through you’re quite often that’s why it was. This great last year, so we’re gonna see okay the next thing I’m gonna do. Igot the two products down here on. This tree I’m gonna take. This portions well I’m not gonna hang. Yet but I’m gonna take the fool. If it’s in the bottle. And I’m gonna dip this limb here. They use for a licking branch. And I’m gonna dip this product in. These down limbs he’s gonna get a snoot full of. These bucks it’s been around here good idea try use. This product to your advance. All the juice in here is high-powered stuff.
This stuff comes from the big boys okay we’ve got a. Few crates done okay. One was an existing drink. That was your last year. Some great trail cam pictures off. Though okay they come from a mono fin camera the next thing we’ve done is okay. We freshen them all up with. This new product mol of. That code blues got out it’s called grave digger. And it’s this new product. Now we’re gonna try. It out okays the troop is gonna be. What we get on our trail cams okay, so we’ll see. What happens it’s gonna be real interesting I love. These holy boobs products. They worked out real well for me. And we’re gonna get. This does wanna try this year. What happens and look for us on full draw productions. Iwant to thank my son for running the camera today so. Everybody good luck.
Good afternoon we bite down here in Perry Florida. And today we come to the street for the last couple years a single strip has been ahead of a producer we’ve kissed. Several fine blokes. This great this year the scrape just went doing. That we’ve had no activity. Imean no activity so. What we’re gonna do is. We got a new to us product called grave digger by code blue. This is supposed to reactivate old scrapes. Or make new lock scrapes so. We got our straight right here. What we’re gonna do today is we’re gonna try to make. This scrape great again so to say take your boot sister don’t three-quarters of the King in. This hole right as we got a step cam over there on. This great there’s no doubt. This product will be effective. Or not effective we’ll have. Everything on camera. That comes to be had like. Isaid we’ve had no activity whatsoever at the scrape so it’s gonna be a good chance to test. This product once again that’s the code blue gravedigger.
You alright here’s the deal. Ijust walked down here about a half a mile along a river. Icame up into I looked on Google Earth. Icould see this isn’t an old logging operation so. Icame up in here you know let. Me just show you around. Icame up in here and I’ve seen books. Iwasn’t around so anyways I’ve been sitting here 10 minutes literally. Ijust sat down on this log it’s great bug bomb that’s. What I’ve been doing this year. Isprayed it in a circle around. Ijust looked up something I looked down the air. And there’s a rack buck. He came right down out of there. He was coming right towards. Istood up off the log. Iactually shot him right through. This V in the tree I shot him in the neck. He killed him instantly let’s go down. And see him bring me. Iknow he’s dead just in case. He went down I killed him instantly. Ican’t believe you know after. This morning I was ready to give up. You know I keep saying I don’t get a deer. Because I’m good I get him cuz I’m persistent. And I’m stubborn I didn’t give up let’s go check him out. He came to me pointer. Iknow it’s dead I hit him in the neck. You just walk backwards. What these are made of right here let’s see. One two three four five six seven he’s a nine pointed look at. He is a big son of them look at. That he’s gonna be 100.
Ibet she’s 180 pounds right there in the neck 270 mean. One two three four five six seven eight Wow unreal. Now hey the good thing is its noon right. Iwas worried it’s 1254. Iwas worried about getting out of here in the dark trying to find my way back but uh. All kinds of time I don’t have to rush to drag him out of here. And it’s gonna be a nice trip back to Vermont short hunting life. This is my 14th year hunting, so I’ve had to work. You know really trying to learn. How to do it seems like the last. Few years I’ve started to get. It dialed in man I couldn’t have asked for a better buck. What a brute I don’t know. What he weighs, but he’s gotta be 180 plus. Iwalked out here there was a guy with two dogs hitting the trail just before. Igot to I talked to him. He walked out in front of. Iwas just thinking now here. We go again you know publicly. And got guy with dogs. And then another guy with dogs came.
And met him and the dogs got in a fight. That was just a few hundred yards down. That way but I love the main trail. Icame up its really thick down there by the river. Icould see on Google Earth. This is a old logging operation so. II left the main trail. Icame up in here and just walking up looking for a place to sit. This spot right where the camera is. Now in a log I sat down. Icould see deer sign. Icould see that those have been here. Icould see oh you know deer poop. That there was deer in here so. Isprayed the buck bomb in a circle I’ve been doing. All year it works don’t tell. Me doesn’t work it works gonna be the right situation gonna be the right time of year but. Isprayed it in a circle I’ve been sitting here less. Than 10 minutes I was actually fiddling around on my phone. Ithought something there’s a tree right in front of. Ilooked down he was common. He was coming right up out of. That thick there’s like a cedar looks like cedar hemlock with.
It looks like maybe a little swampy. Idon’t know, but he was coming right up out of. He was just walking slowly. Istood up I had the tree in front of. And then the tree branches there’s a V. He was facing me I put the scope on him in between the V. And the tree he raised his head up like. And had a good shot on his neck so. It happened so fast. Imean that’s I hit him. Ihit him and just fell over backward it’s instantly dead after hunting hard. All day yesterday and not seeing much sign. Iwas almost ready to write. You know I was sad telling myself. You know everyone talks about. How great New Hampshire is but. It really isn’t the place. Ihunt in Vermont I like a lot better. Ican see deer well.
Ijust changed my mind folks. You know he’s no record breaker, but he’s by far my. Iwould say my biggest buck he’s got the. Most points nine points. Idon’t know what he’ll score, but he’s probably. You know gross maybe a hundred. And ten inches I think my Vermont. One was just over a hundred, so I’d say he’s my best buck he’s my Uncle Sam told. You get him you get your first buck which. He says still cuz I struggled my first 40. Me four years to get a buck. Ifirst started hunting 14 years ago. Iwas struggling and frustrated. You know I never thought I’d given up but my Uncle Sam Greene told. You start getting them. He said they’ll start coming and. Iunderstand what he’s talking about it’s like. You hunt with confidence. Ihad confidence to get up at 3 o’clock. This morning and drive down here after having a tough day yesterday. And sometimes that’s. It takes you’re just gonna be in the woods. Imean I’m no superhero I’m no great hunter but.
Igot a love for it. And a passion and that’s. What drives me to keep going and things go wrong as Uncle Sam says. They often do but you know. You never give up. And just keep after them. And grant amazing things can happen. This is not probably a buck of a lifetime but for me it’s pretty close alright. Igot my work cut out for me so yeah the saga continues turning out to be a good year
Hi my name is Brianna Wetzel I’m from Halifax Pennsylvania I’ve been an avid bow hunter for years I’m a photographer. And also videographer. You see a lot of myself film hunts on YouTube today we’re gonna be doing a product video test on a synthetic scent made by living tailed deer sense in the past I’m just a lot of different scents I’ve been out on the market with not much success since I’ve been using Ric’s products last fall I’ve seen a lot. More deer I’ve had a lot. Closer encounters. And my success has been a lot better. All of those things have made. Me a better bow hunter so the big question is why synthetic over a traditional deer urine the shelf life of the product is gonna last a lot longer. It doesn’t break down like a traditional scent. Whether it’s gonna hold up a lot better. And it’s gonna last longer. If you’re hunting in a state. Or an area that has banned the use of traditional deer urine. You can still use this product.
Because there’s no urine in. It so right now we’re gonna spray down with Lowe’s whitetail cover scents grab. All our gear head up to the woods make a scrape out the product out. We put a trail camera over. It comes back to check. It in two weeks just got up to our spot here. You guys receive your synthetic scent it’s gonna be in a vacuum sealed bag just like. This to help preserve. All of Rick’s products come like. That there are several ways. You can apply this as I’m going to be doing I’m gonna be making a mock scrape. And putting it down. That way you can put. It on overhanging branches standing trees down trees logs. And stumps so we’re going to go ahead.
And start putting this down. We made our mock scrape we’re gonna go ahead.

Continuing with some of the items. This year for hunting and talking about ones. That did well for us. Some things that didn’t do well for us among the things. That did great for us is his Wildlife Research Center’s is the special golden estrus I’m not sure. What makes it special but there are two versions of. This isn’t the first year I’ve used. It he’s at 2013 2014 2015. Ihave used a lot of different sense but. This seems to stand out as. One of the best I’d say but. Idon’t have in this package which is in the original container is our electric scent wick so basically take. These white wicks get them outside. It in the bottle then. You then you just hang them in the tree nearby. It attracts the deer come by the bucks particular so. This numerous times. It always comes through. You know I put them up in the tree. You know the night before. Igo out the next morning the trail cam. And there’s definitely blocked activity in the area. You know during the day out. It out just as hunting you know the hunting day is starting, and we’ll get. Some activity you know in a. Few hours all the tangible in the situation but. It works you know so it’s its not a little pricey investment to make your chances obsessed. That much greater so. Iwould definitely recommend. You haven’t tried this already next year definitely go with. And I’ll think you’ll have. Some improve success okay that’s our review we’ll catch.
